Patrick absolutely crushed it! The music was incredible throughout our entire day, and we keep hearing from guests about how perfect everything sounded. He nailed everything we asked for—from all our specific song requests to making the parade exactly what we envisioned. Those special touches he added to honor the people who couldn't be there with us were so thoughtful and meaningful.
The dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night! Everyone keeps telling us it was the best wedding music they've ever experienced, and that's all thanks to him reading the room perfectly and keeping the energy going. He also worked with us through all the craziness of my cancer delays without missing a beat, which just shows what a pro he is.
If you want your guests dancing all night long and talking about your wedding for weeks after, Patrick is your guy! -

The most important vendor to me was the DJ. I made sure to book DJ Patrick over a year in advance. DJ Patrick was so easy to work with and he knew the wedding venue inside and out. He was super thorough and made sure to get a good understand of the music I liked, but also the music that guests would respond to. It was clear to see the amount of work that he put in before and during the wedding because everyone could not stop complimenting how awesome of a job he did. Thank you, DJ Patrick!!! -

Patrick is the DJ you NEED for your event. Patrick provided excellent music, fun lighting, and a high quality experience for us and our wedding guests. Prior to our event, he was easy to communicate with and helped ease a lot of our fears before the event. We were able to provide him with songs we wanted and did not want, and he filled in the rest for the party. On top of that, he has high quality equipment that made our ceremony easy for everyone to hear. Patrick is so great that when our other vendors found out he was the DJ, they were relieved as they know he consistently provides great work. BOOK PATRICK for your next event, he provides excellent service at a fair value! -

The Premier Santa Barbara/Carpinteria DJ!
We got married at Rincon Beach Club in September 2023, and DJ Patrick came heavily recommended by our venue. I have to preface and say that my husband loves to DJ, and has DJ’ed weddings in the past; this means he is very particular when it comes to sound and lighting, and was responsible for finding our wedding DJ. With that said, DJ Patrick knocked it out of the park! Our audio was crisp, from the beach ceremony to our garden reception speeches, timing for every song and moment was on point, and he had the dance floor going even after the event ended! The best part was that he allowed my husband to have a DJ set during our wedding, and helped make his dreams come true. He even asked us for my husbands logo and had it up while he got to DJ! We would highly recommend DJ Patrick Butler to any prospective couples in the area! -

I can't sing enough praises about Patrick! I originally met him over ten years ago for my best friend's wedding, and he was so fabulous back then that ten years later - I HAD to have him DJ my wedding. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing he is, but I'll certainly try!
I planned to surprise my husband by singing Adam Sandler's "I Want to Grow Old with You" instead of our first dance (my husband and I are not dancers), and he made my 'karaoke-at-our-wedding' dreams come true. I talked extensively with him ahead of time and noted which songs I wanted to be played during certain times/events, then ran through a list of songs to play throughout the night for dancing, and then allowed him to use his best judgment on fun dance songs as well. He delivered ten-fold! Everyone at our wedding, from our older parents to the younger crowd, loved all of the music. EVERYONE danced! Patrick was an absolute pleasure to work with - an all-around wonderful human who is so very intuitive and considerate of who he's DJing for. He will flawlessly make sure your wedding or event is exactly what you dreamed of. There aren't enough stars to cover how exemplary he is! -

DJ Patrick was a great addition to our amazing wedding day! He was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding and the music was great all night long! Our dance floor stayed packed and it was all thanks to him! I highly recommend Patrick if you’re looking for a great DJ! Also, we added on the photo booth to our package and it was such a hit with our guests and some of our favorite photos from the night! -

DJ Patrick made our wedding so much FUN! People are still talking about how they couldn’t stay off the dance floor! He is so good at what he does. We went to make a list of the songs we wanted to hear, and while we gave him a “must play” list, we left the rest up to him. He knocked it out of the park! Patrick is a dream to work with, we hired him a full year in advance and he checked in every step of the way. Patrick was always available and willing to answer any of our questions. He is an extremely skilled DJ and knows exactly how to blend each song amazingly. Our wedding was so fun because of him and he had people dancing all night long!!! He also knows the Rincon beach club super well and can execute any style ceremony (beach or garden). He was a great MC as well which is a tall task!!! Thank you, Patrick, we will always keep you in mind for any event we have in our future!!! -

I can't overstate how much all of our guests loved the way Patrick orchestrated our wedding. From cocktail hour, to dinner, to the opening of the dance floor, Patrick took our playlists we shared with him and elevated them to a party-level. Patrick is a man that intimately cares about people having the best possible time at your event and he gave his professional opinion throughout planning to help us smooth out the unfinished parts of our wedding ceremony like entrance/exits, big dances during the reception, and how to balance the music throughout the evening.
In a city with a ton of options for wedding DJs, he came very highly recommended not only by our coordinator but all of our other vendors lit up when we told them Patrick was hired for our wedding. Having worked our venue many times before, he came prepared with the right equipment to suit the different settings of ceremony and reception with a focus on clear audio for all speeches and songs. Thank you so much Patrick! -

DJ Patrick came to us via a recommendation from our wedding coordinator. Luckily, he was available for our date and had been married at our venue a few years prior! We had a couple phone calls to go over what we were looking for and then I just filled out his planning form online in terms of the songs for certain parts and what events we would be having. A few days prior we had another phone call to finalize details and he was super helpful in finding instrumental versions of the songs I was looking for. He kept the party going and there wasn't a lag or bad song progression the whole night. -

My [now] husband & I were so comfortable upon our first meet with Patrick that he was hired on the spot and we had no reason to look elsewhere. He was easy to work with and gave us great ideas to make our wedding even better than we imagined. Patrick not only put on a great "show" for our reception, but also provided us with our ceremony music, which went perfectly also. Awesome music, awesome lighting, awesome video equipment, awesome guy. I cannot thank him enough for all the work he put into making our wedding special. We were beyond happy!
Your wedding day goes by so quickly, with so many things happening at once that you can't help but look back once it's over and wish you did this or that..PMDJ was the one thing that was perfect on my wedding day. We will definately recommend Patrick to anyone who needs DJ services without hesitation and hope one day we have the pleasure of working with him again.

Amanda Sent on 06/11/2017Patrick was a joy to work with! My husband and I felt like we may have put off the music selection til too late in the game, but Patrick reassured us that we were okay. He called us before the wedding to confirm if we wanted any songs cut down in length (thankfully) and on the day of, you would have never known they weren't the original length because he cut them so well. I actually didn't meet Patrick til he came up to my husband and I at the head table, and at that point he had already run our ceremony and cocktail hour flawlessly! I was nervous about people dancing, but he played great music and people kept saying how awesome his music choices were. He really listened to our likes and dislikes and made sure to keep the party going. Our venue had a very strict noise ordinance but he stayed within that and even put on an awesome light show on the mountains after. I was so nervous about music, but he made me feel so comfortable!
