My now husband and I were looking for an officiant that could deliver an authentic, non-religious, and bilingual ceremony for our October wedding and we are so grateful and blessed to have found Pastor Rich! He is so kind-hearted and patient, and really works with you to craft a personalized ceremony that truly encapsulates your entire love story. When we met with him in-person, he took the time to ask questions about how we met, our relationship, and any other details pertinent to our story, and he incorporated all of these details into the ceremony - I could not have asked for a more perfect delivery of the ceremony. It was so authentic, romantic, light-hearted, and special. I loved his finishing touches of his advice for us, pulling from his own experience and relationship with his wife. Even 1 of my bridesmaids - who introduced me to my husband - got a shout out in the ceremony and I loved it! We received so many compliments from our friends and family about Pastor Rich and he truly knocked it out of the park with everything we asked for. Pastor Rich is a fantastic officiant and person, and my wife and I couldn't have been happier to have chosen him for our wedding. From the beginning of our wedding planning process to the end, Pastor Rich was sincere, professional and attentive, answering all of our questions and helping us navigate the most important day of our lives. The planning process was made easy by Pastor Rich. He was constructive and helpful in planning our vows, incorporated the readings and traditions that we requested and even added great content that we did not think of. He continually followed up with us to make sure we were on track with our thoughts and deliverables, which was such a great help considering everything else we had to do. Where he really stood out though, was the ceremony. He did a great job navigating the ceremony, added a few funny stories about my wife and I, and was sincere and engaging throughout. He was thoughtful with his words, conveying the importance of marriage and love and really helped to make our ceremony amazing. After the wedding, Pastor Rich sent us a hand-written note expressing his gratitude for allowing him to be a part of our wedding and wishing us the best of luck, which meant so much to my wife and I. If you're looking for a great ceremony that really showcases you as a couple, Pastor Rich is your guy!
Pastor Rich delivered such a beautiful ceremony for our wedding! I have a lot of family that only speaks Spanish so it was really meaningful to have had Pastor Rich cover parts of the ceremony in Spanish and is a big reason why we hired him. We loved that he asked us to share our favorite stories as a couple with him so that he could incorporate it into the ceremony. It was especially nice when my now husband and I sent him stories that the other didn't know about because it was a pleasant surprise to be reminded of that story during the ceremony and know that that was the other person's favorite memory of you.

Pastor Rich was the BEST officiant for our wedding! Our ceremony needed to be in both Spanish and English as our two families that spoke different languages and he went above and beyond helping us put together a bilingual ceremony. Not only did he help us incorporate Mexican traditions into the ceremony but all our guests felt included as he took the time to explain everything going on in Spanish and English. He even went above and beyond by giving us advice he’s learned over time with his own marriage, making everything more personal. I cannot recommend Pastor Rich enough!

We could not have been more happy to have Rich officiate our wedding! From our first virtual meet, leading up to our wedding day- the amount of communication was incredible! We asked Rich for some advice and he always feel back on “it’s your day. Do what you think is best” honestly, hearing that from him helped ease some of the wedding stress. I loved how he took the time to ask about our story and what we love about one another. Rich incorporated our story into our ceremony, and our guests were raving about it! More than an officiant!
Pastor Rich was responsive and wonderful the entire process. He accommodated us through THREE different date changes with no issue. His officiating was amazing which was echoed all night by our guests. It really meant a lot to have Pastor Rich take the time to get to know us before the big day and incorporate that into his message. Big plus - he did part of the service in Spanish for my wife’s side of the family and helped me do my vows in Spanish. Great human being and officiant!!

My husband and I were on the hunt for an officiant who would be able to do our ceremony in both Spanish and English. We had only 4ish months to plan our wedding, and were hoping for someone who would be flexible with us. Pastor Rich was one of the first people we reached out to. He was professional and incredibly helpful from the start. He traveled over an hour outside Chicago to officiate our wedding. We received many compliments on our ceremony that Pastor Rich created a welcoming atmosphere where our guests felt like active participants. They appreciated the way that Pastor Rich made the ceremony feel intimate and familiar. We set up a webcam to livestream the wedding for our relatives, and Pastor Rich helped us make it all happen. We are so grateful to Pastor Rich for making our day so special. ¡Mil gracias! (My one suggestion for future brides and grooms would be to get his premium package, which includes a wedding planning meeting, rehearsal, and the ceremony. We flubbed a few of our lines during the ceremony and would have appreciated the extra practice!)

Thanks to him our ceremony was special, romantic and funny., Just how I asked him to be. It was perfect! With my husband being from India, and me being from Venezuela, we wanted a pastor who could get us married in English as well as Spanish simultaneously. Pastor Rich made our wedding ceremony absolutely perfect! Having a bilingual (Spanish/English) officiant was very important to us and Pastor Rich did a beautiful job bringing together our two cultures. So personal and kind!
Pastor Rich was absolutely wonderful. Several of our friends and family asked us if we've known him our whole life, but in reality we only hired him a short WEEK before our wedding - that's how personal and kind he was.
We planned for a church ceremony for a year and a half but then only a week before our wedding date we had to change plans because of Covid-19. We scrambled to find an officiant for our now outdoor ceremony and thankfully we found Pastor Rich. He provided the BEST service and a great price. I loved that he made sure the ceremony wasn't TOO lengthy but also didn't feel rushed. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much for being there for us on such short notice and making our ceremony beautiful!

My husband and I got married July 2020 (right in the middle of COVID-19). Pastor Rich was so flexible as we changed our wedding date a few times. The rehearsal was extremely organized and put my mind at ease. He made it so there was nothing to worry about on our special day. Pastor Rich was the best decision we had made in the entire wedding planning process. We met him one time, and it felt as if we had known him forever. We met Pastor Rich about a month before our wedding for a consultation and to discuss the specifics of our ceremony, and he took everything to heart and delivered it flawless during our ceremony. Pastor Rich was the officiant at our wedding and he did a wonderful job. We discovered him through our wedding planner who recommended him. He met with us before the wedding to get to know us and learn about our relationship and give our ceremony a personal touch. Pastor Rich far exceeded our expectations! We met a few times before our ceremony and he was so easy to communicate with. He captured our love with the perfect balance of humor and sentimentality. We received numerous compliments from family and friends that it was the best ceremony they had ever been to—all thanks to Pastor Rich! He is a wonderful person and will cater to your ideas. Beautiful Interfaith Ceremony in MKE
We are so thankful to have had Rich officiate our wedding in Milwaukee. Rich, and his wonderful wife, Jane, have been friends of my family since I was young. When I talked to my Jewish fiance about the possibility of having Rich be our officiant, he was slightly skeptical. We had an introductory Skype meeting which lasted about 20 minutes. We told Rich a little about our relationship and we brainstormed ideas about how to create a beautiful interfaith ceremony that everyone was comfortable with. A few months closer to the wedding, we then met Rich at a coffee shop to talk about the details. We live in Milwaukee and he made an effort to let us know when he would be in the area so we did not have to travel for the meeting. Rich promptly responds to emails, has great ideas, and makes sure everyone involved is included in the planning. The ceremony was intimate and meaningful, and a beautiful blend of religious, which is exactly what we wanted. Rich even had some portions in Hebrew! The way Rich spoke about us made it seem like he has known my husband for as long as he has known me! Rich's calm and patient demeanor is also something my type A personality self needed on that day. I will absolutely be telling my newly engaged friends to make Rich their officiant.

Wonderful Pastor
My husband and I are so glad we chose Pastor Rich to marry us. From the very begging he sat down with us and listened to our story which I thought was so neat. A year after meeting with him and him taking some notes when he finally married us, he remembered every detail and told our story at our wedding. Pastor Rich was amazing. All our guests in our multi cultural wedding agreed that his ceremony was the highlight of the event. He was relaxed, kept a steady pace, was humble and confident. An excellent choice!
Living out of town required us to find a local officiant for our wedding on Lake Michigan. We were fortunate to find Pastor Rich, who not only worked with us seamlessly through our planning process, but also came to know us and support us as bride and groom. He was very interested in knowing our story, beyond the easy questions of how we met or where we would be living. After the ceremony several of our family members said “Wow how many years have you known Pastor Rich?”, and were surprised we had hired him only for our big day. We were looking for someone kind and warm hearted, serious enough for performing our vows but light hearted enough to bring smiles to us and our guests during the ceremony...and we found all of this in Pastor Rich! As a last note, he worked very well coordinating with us, our Spanish Guitarists ( for the ceremony) our DJ and our on site planner to ensure all of his audio/ electrical needs were met at the venue.

Pastor Rich did an amazing job with our wedding! He had a tall order of combining multiple belief systems and he absolutely delivered. He was able to make all of our guests feel included, and you would have thought he had known us for years! He went above and beyond our expectations by adding an anecdote about my grandparents, who he had only met the day prior. After the ceremony, my grandma came up to me with tears in her eyes…it meant the world to her that Rich had included them in his sermon. Great officiant for our beach wedding
My husband and I were very pleased with Pastor Rich. From the very beginning until the end (and after!) Pastor Rich was extremely dedicated to pleasing us and displayed excellent communication. He officiated our July 2017 wedding in an outdoor setting at The Morton Arboretum. From the first day of our communication Pastor Rich has been organized, easy to reach and very responsive as well as caring! Very attentive throughout the getting to know us process and questionnaire. He has attention to detail and poured his heart into making our religious ceremony so memorable!
Meeting Pastor Rich and having our rehearsal was very enjoyable and fun, and he walked us every step of the way through the procession. He is punctual and his suggestions and ideas were so helpful and creative! Pastor Rich is appropriately humorous and fun and we enjoyed that in him!!

From the first meeting to the goodbyes after the ceremony, Pastor Rich was responsive and made what can be a stressful experience easy and fun. My husband and I are more than happy to have Pastor Rich Officiate our Wedding. On our initial meeting, we know right away that he is the one. He just had that aura of a genuine person.
During the ceremony, he was able to tell our love story eloquently, in fact, most of our guest were in awe, in tears and at the same time laughing. I was at ease and my anxiety instantly was gone. We love him! And highly recommended.

We made the BEST choice with Pastor Rich! We booked his services well in advance and are so relieved we did. As a non-denominational couple overall, we didnt have a clue when it came to choosing an officiant or designing a well-rounded ceremony. After reading reviews on The Knot, we contacted Pastor Rich who sent us all the information we'd need! He was responsive & always available to answer any questions we had and was in no way overbearing! With so much on the bride's plate as it is, Pastor Rich makes the whole experience smooth & easy. He beautifully incorporated our readings and ceremony wishes into his service and fully commanded the audience. He incorporated the Lord's Prayer which was beautiful and meant more to the folks in our family who ARE connected to faith, so it was a simple & great way to honor them without delving too much into religious ceremony traditions. For folks who ARE more in touch with their faith, he would also be incredible - we were just especially gracious that there wasnt any pressure to include vows, texts, etc that didnt connect with us personally. Pastor Rich was prompt in email & in person, gracefully lead our rehearsal and was on top of things come wedding day - really, what a breeze to not worry at all about that genre of the wedding! Moreover, Pastor Rich is a truly honorable man who is so well-spoken and brought the perfect blend of reverence, humor, and romance to our ceremony. SO flexible overall, SO affordable and just an absolute joy to have officially marry us :

My husband was in charge of finding a Pastor for our wedding.. I don't know where or how he came across Pastor Rich but wow, he I am SO glad I put John in charge of that task. This Pastor was so much more awesome than we expected for someone we met with no previous relationship. We felt very confident that he was the "one" after a short meeting at Starbucks. Everybody loved him. We received many compliments from the guests about how great he was. Even from my husbands very religious Christian Orthodox family who were initially disappointed our ceremony was not in a church. (It was outdoors, at the Morton Arboretum.) It was such a relief to hear their compliments post ceremony.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to have Pastor Rich join us on our wedding day as our officiant! The initial meetings went great from the start and we could tell that he was interested in getting to know us and what we were looking for in our ceremony. The ceremony was a good mix of serious and lighthearted moments that had people both laughing and crying. We would recommend Pastor Rich without a doubt!

Pastor Rich was such a blessing to work with! He made the planning process very easy and also made the ceremony very personal and reflective of our personalities. Pastor Rich was out officiant for our wedding, and we could not have been happier with him. He took the time to learn about who we were as individuals and how we would be as a married couple and incorporated all of this into our ceremony. He also told great stories about us and his own experiences which really kept our guests engaged. We were so glad to have Pastor Rich as a guide for us during our wedding planning process.

Rich provided a great service to us from start to finish. We waited until nearly the last minute to find someone to marry us after realizing asking a friend to do it was going to be more complex than we bargained for. We had a great 1 hour skype chat with Rich and he was available to answer questions before the wedding began. He arrived early and is a real pro - was totally calm - funny - told great stories during the ceremony... we would highly recommend him. Also I should note we required a "godless" wedding and he was happy to oblige, so don't get put off by the "Pastor" part of Pastor Rich if like us, you are non-religious!

We are so happy that we had Pastor Rich to marry us! We were nervous about finding a pastor online, one that didn’t know us personally. Most of our guests, including us, had never been to a wedding that wasn’t in a church. Everyone was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful ceremony that Pastor Rich performed. He incorporated so many details from when we first met with him several months ago into our wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how well he knew us and how he “got” our relationship!
We decided to go with Pastor Rich after the first meeting because he asked us a lot of deep and meaningful questions. He really made us think about what we want out of our marriage and our lives together. We love that he takes his job so seriously. Then, at the ceremony rehearsal I was a nervous wreck, and he did such an amazing job of making everyone laugh to calm the nerves. He walked us through the process as many times as we needed before we felt good with everything. Before the ceremony he got to the venue early and came to check on both the groom and me in the bridal rooms. He made sure we were all set and ready to go and made us all relax with his presence. He’s very well-spoken, charming, funny, and truly gave us a heart-felt ceremony. He was truly there for us to make our day special an we could not have asked for more!

Pastor Rich did an incredible job creating a meaningful, yet lighthearted ceremony! He was responsive and organized from day 1, and we were impressed how much of our initial meeting he incorporated into the personal message of the ceremony almost a year later. The message he gave at our ceremony made us felt as if he had known us as a couple for years, and after we said our hand written vows, there wasn't a dry eye among the guests! He also did a great job facilitating the rehearsal and clearly is very knowledgeable about what wedding party members need to know for the ceremony to run smoothly. Overall, we would highly recommend Pastor Rich as an officiant to other couples!

Pastor Rich completely exceeded our expectations. My husband and I wanted a non-religious, fun, personal ceremony and we truly couldn't have found a better man for the job. We received compliments regarding the ceremony and the "flow" all throughout night and many people were surprised to hear that Pastor Rich wasn't someone that we had known for ages - although it felt like we had by the end of it all! Our wedding was a thousand times more incredible than we could have ever imagined and we couldn't have done it without Pastor Rich.

We couldn't of been any more happier and honored to have Pastor Rich marry us! He is hands down the best!!! He took the genuinely interested in getting to know my Husband and I! During our ceremony he was able to verbalize how we felt about each other in a very sweet heart fulling way!!! He is such a nice kind hearted man!!! We fall in love with Pastor Rich!!! Pastor Rich has high reviews and that is exactly why I decided to check him out for our wedding. I was looking for someone who could speak to us about Gods will for marriage but also keep in mind that my husband has not yet in a relationship with Christ. We wanted to hold our ceremony at the same location in which we were married due to it being winter and having so many out of town guests. I wanted someone who would make a connection with us prior to our big day so that it was more meaningful rather than finding a stranger online since my own pastor would not marry us off church grounds (silly). He met with us for a little counseling and even with his busy schedule he kept in touch with us and was very attentive to the emails we sent. He did such a lovely job interacting with our families and a beautiful job at our wedding. Pastor Rich, we are so thankful and pleased with the careful job you did of making our wedding special.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED Pastor Rich! He is quite charismatic, funny, very well-spoken - our ceremony could not have been more heartfelt. He guided us through the entire procession in a most calming and reassuring way, we both felt completely at ease and were able to enjoy every amazing moment. SO many of our guests made it a point to tell us how beautiful our ceremony was and how wonderful the pastor was. I highly recommend Pastor Rich's service to other future brides, you will not be disappointed!

Pastor Rich is great, hands down. He is truly a nice man and is genuinely interested in getting to know you and your fiance in order to make your wedding day the best. He also walks you through the process of the ceremony and makes things easy to plan when you meet him as well as with a worksheet he has you fill out.
We had Pastor Rich perform our ceremony in September 2015 and he was so thoughtful, meaningful, and personal in all of his words. I was truly touched by the sweet things he said while officiating.

In May, Pastor Rich was the officiant at my wedding. Before, during, and after the wedding, Pastor Rich was a strong presence. My wife and I are two very anxious people and he was able to put us at ease. His candor and guidance were exactly what we needed on that day. Pastor Rich officiated our wedding recently and I knew from our first meeting we made the best choice for an officiant. He was thoughtful and really took the time to get to know not only us as a couple but our family and what made our relationship special. By doing that, he was able to give us a beautiful, personal ceremony that we will forever cherish. Many of our guests afterwards remarked at how personal the ceremony was. Pastor Rich is very nice and professional! He made our wedding day even more perfect and enjoyable. He's very experienced in leading the wedding towards the right direction and coordinating with us. Most guests in our group are not native English speakers. However, he did a great job communicating with every one and needless to say, he was super nice and patient. Knowing that he's taken care of the process, we could totally enjoy our wedding without worrying about it at all. His professionalism is also shown by his personalized speech. He spent time getting to know the story of us and it totally surprised us how well he incorporated it into his talk. He made it sound like an old friend of ours is giving his blessings from the deepest of his heart instead of simply following the general procedure. I would highly recommend Pastor Rich to anyone that would like your wedding to be even more special and memorable. You can't go wrong with him!

We wanted to have a somewhat secular ceremony, but with a spiritual aspect to it, and bring the traditions of a pastor to our event rather than the new "trendy" simple officiant. He was able to master that for us. He said a simple prayer, cracked a great joke, and gave us the stage to read our vows/letters to one another. He was lax where he needed to be, but prepared us for the event perfectly. I would recommend him to anyone, regardless of creed or religion. We had a perfect ceremony and a big part of it was him.

From the initial contact, to our first meeting, many email exchanges & the thank you email after the wedding, Pastor Rich has been wonderful to work with! He not only is enthusiastic about your wedding, but appreciates all of the details and planning that make your wedding special and unique. He made it a point to introduce himself to our wedding party, readers & family at the rehearsal dinner and made sure everyone knew what was going on. He has a very calming nature about him and definitely made us a couple feel very comfortable being in front of so many people. He made it a point to get to know us not only as a couple, but as individuals at our initial planning meeting and incorporated all of that into his sermon & message during the ceremony. I also loved his idea of having the ceremony readers (my two good friends & my husband's cousin) read directly to us the couple, rather than at a stand. It made it so much more special and personal for us all. Another I liked was that he texted us to let us know that he arrived & made the effort to come to the bridal room before the ceremony to check in and see how how the girls were doing. He also did the same with my husband and the guys. At the reception & after the wedding, we received a lot of positive words and praise about Pastor Rich! From our initial meeting with Pastor Rich it felt like things were meant to be. He made a special effort to try to connect with us on many levels and he had a genuine interest in getting to know our story.
He did a great job during our ceremony. He delivered a personal, positive, and heartfelt speech which highlighted important aspects of our lives. He also added some quick witted humor to lighten up the mood.
He was professional, punctual, and personal. Overall, I received a very genuine vibe from Pastor Rich and he did a great job for us.

Pastor Rich was our officaiant for our wedding on September25 2015. I can not even write how amazing he did. He made me and my now husband feel so comfortable even when we were both super nervous. We did a Rehursal with him and he helped it to run very smoothly and made us feel very much at ease for our wedding the next day. He made our ceremony personalized for our relationship and added family into it which is huge for us. He made it fun, loving and just over all such a great experience. I had several people tell me after our rehearsal and after our ceremony how much they loved pastor Rich and how fantatic he did. I feel very lucky and honored to if had him as our wedding officaiant!
