He is such a nice guy!

Flexible, knowledgeable, and professional

Perez Wedding 11/21/2020
Pastor Jim was just AWESOME! He was recommended to me by my day of coordinator and I am glad she referred me to him because I couldn't have asked for a better officiant! Pastor Jim and his wife Leslie were so kind to us and made the process smooth. He is very flexible with vows and readings, he was GREAT at the rehearsal and wedding ceremony, and lastly my husband told me Pastor Jim helped him calm his nerves as I was walking down the aisle. (THANK YOU PASTOR JIM FOR THAT!) Overall, highly recommend Pastor Jim! Trust me you will not regret it! ❤-

Wonderful!!
We could not have imagined our wedding without Pastor Jim! He is such a fun and considerate person, and got along with both our families and friends very easily! He is considerate of your religious preferences and will make sure you are both comfortable with everything said at the ceremony. He and his wife are so personable and friendly, and we are so glad our wedding planner recommended him! -

Best choice we ever made!!!
Jim was awesome! We had a very unique wedding and he accommodated it well. He even did his own research on our themes and incorporated it into our ceremony. Jim also dressed the part to the T and matched our colors. I was so overwhelmed at first but he made it super easy for us. We also had so many compliments after the wedding about him and the ceremony. I firmly believe he was the best choice we ever made. -

Pastor Jim was our wedding officiant
We are so blessed that our venue owner recommended Pastor Jim. From our first meeting, we knew he was going to be a perfect fit for our officiant. He was very easy to work with and made sure that we understood, “if we’re happy, he’s happy”. He even asked what our wedding colors were so he could match his attire : ) By the time we made it to wedding day, it truly felt like he was a part of our family. Pastor Jim -- the perfect touch for our wedding!
The person marrying us was a HUGE decision for my fiance and I, and a hard one since we are still semi-new to San Antonio and trying to find a church home/pastor. I heard of Pastor Jim through my venue (Western Sky) and after meeting with he and his sweet wife, we automatically felt comfortable with him leading the ceremony and vows during the most important day of our lives! What truly sets him apart, though, are the free-of-charge pre-marital counseling courses he offers. My husband and I truly appreciated getting to know him in the months leading up to the big day and learned a lot through our talks with him. Pastor Jim performed a wonderful ceremony; we had guests coming up to us all night bragging and complimenting on how much they enjoyed the ceremony and his words. :) -

Review for Pastor Jim
Pastor Jim is amazing. We were having the wedding in San Antonio and we live in a different city, so we were very nervous of hiring someone we didn't know. He made the process easy and tried to get to know us. He worked with us with the readings and the ceremony was just wonderful. It was short, emotional, sweet and everything we could have dreamed of. Thank you Pastor Jim. We will cherish those moments forever. -

Jim was absolutely amazing. We were frantically looking for an officiant before our wedding and we truly lucked out with Jim. He instantly made us feel comfortable and has a very calming demeanor. He and his wife joined us for the rehearsal dinner and really eased my nerves for the next day and impressed me even further with the little things they did during dinner to ensure we had a stress-free night. They really are a great team. The ceremony was beautiful and Jim's great sense of humor really added to the moment. I would absolutely recommend Jim to anyone! -

Jim not only officiated our ceremony, but he saw us for pre-marital counseling as well. His passion for what he does makes him the best at it. Our ceremony was so heartfelt and he only made it better. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant, as he made our day even more special. -

Jim did a wonderful job at our ceremony! He was very professional, quick to respond to emails, laid out our ceremony just as we had asked, and extremely affordable. Not to mention--my husband, father, stepfather, father in law, and all the groomsmen had him partying with them in the groomsmen suite! Everything was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Jim. :) -

We were so happy with Pastor Jim. He was the perfect person to marry us! We got to catch up before the wedding and go over everything, I was so at ease on the day! My only regret- that we don't live stateside to have done a bit of premarital counselling with him. Couldn't recommend enough. -

Very happy with Jim and how great he was. We felt very comfortable every step of the way. He even went as far as picking out a tie to match our colors. Thank you so much! Everyone was talking about how great his speaking and word choice was. He was super reasonably priced as well.

We were HIGHLY HIGHLY impressed with Pastor Jim. I felt that picking a pastor is a rather intimate task and he made us feel so comfortable the entire way! Pastor Jim had such a calming demeanor coaching us through the wedding process. He offered us advice and words of wisdom on how we should feel about our wedding experience. He was truly a cheerleader for our marriage and an advocate for what we wanted. The wedding ceremony itself was beautiful. Pastor Jim's words were kind and on more than one occasion our guests mentioned what a wonderful service he provided. We are so thankful to have found Pastor Jim!!! -

Booking with Pastor Jim was probably THE best wedding planning decision I made. Not only is he professional and experienced; he is also warm, friendly, kind, and truly excited for our marriage. We found Pastor Jim from the vendor list at my wedding venue, and after reading reviews, we knew he was the pastor for us. We met with him and his lovely wife Leslie months before our wedding, they were very thorough, professional, and helpful when selecting our ceremony style. Weeks before the big day, my then fiance and I had the idea to get baptized together the night of our wedding rehearsal, and Pastor Jim welcomed our idea with open arms. Our joint baptism combined with our joining in marriage were two of the most special moments in our lives, and we owe a big thank you to Pastor Jim for that! I without a doubt recommend him for your big day! -

I looked on wedding wire to find my wedding pastor and I was lucky enough to find Jim and his wife, Leslie. I had 4 months to plan this wedding, so time was of the essence. I only met with Jim and Leslie once and we communicated through email after that. Jim and Leslie coordinated my rehearsal dinner and my wedding the next day with the up-most professionalism but managed to make things personal and fun at the same time. I only had to give Jim an idea of what myself and my now husband wanted and he ran with it and made it beautiful. I absolutely loved everything he said during the ceremony, and Leslie cued everyone who was walking down the aisle perfectly and even "popped" my dress so it was perfect for my walk as I hit the aisle. Jim also provided a few extra tips for myself, my husband and our wedding party as to how to make sure everything flowed perfectly for our ceremony. I can't have imagined anyone would be better. Absolutely perfect for us! -

Our venue, Granberry Hills, recommended Jim Berrie and he was absolutely wonderful. He provided a nice balance of sincerity, humor and respect for marriage throughout the ceremony. We spoke to him at rehearsal and at the ceremony he delivered exactly what we were looking for! -

5 stars all the way around. No kidding. Jim and his wife were both amazing. We aren't regular church goers, and we had a destination wedding in San Antonio. The biggest concern I had was whether or not the officiant was going to be able to give a heart-felt ceremony if we'd just met. Jim has a process he uses to meet his clients and actually get to know you before he says yes regarding officiating your ceremony. That's what I was looking for. He and his wife even offer (or at least used to offer) the pre-wedding counseling that can save you some $$ on your marriage license at twogetherintexas.com. Very cool. -

Jim was wonderful! Our wedding was at Granberry Hills (Also AMAZING) and we were able to add Jim right onto our contract with Granberry making it very easy with payment. My husband could not stop saying how great Jim was really making him and his groomsmen comfortable. The ceremony was perfect, and he gives you many options to mix and match and choose from. Would recommend Jim in a heartbeat to anyone! -
