Deb did a great job performing our wedding ceremony. She worked around my husbands busy schedule to accommodate our first meeting. She explained her process and took the time to understand what we were wanting as well.
She continued to communicate with us as our wedding date got closer to ensure we were all on the same page.

Embrassing an age old tradition
We had a rather unusual vision in mind when our wedding came to mind. Not only were we seeking someone to stand IN a river with us (about 3-4 in) but we also wanted to incorporate a tradional handfasting as well. Not only did Deb come through for us but she also worked in other personal touches that came up along the way. She truly helped bring our vision to life by walking through the woods, climbing down a short bank and joining us in the flowing waters as we read our vows. Thank you Deb! The Best Officiant Ever!!! I'd choose Pastor Deb Helton all over again!!
(I'd add photos, but we haven't gotten ours back yet.) Anyways, I love Pastor Deb Helton. I had spoken to many different officiants, but none of the others had personalities anywhere close to Pastor Helton. She was so patient with us (we had to bump up our date). She was so easy to work with and to talk to. Something very important to me! After meeting with her the first time, she made us feel so comfortable and at ease that it felt like we had known her forever. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married. In fact, I would choose her over and over again to be my officiant. Thank you, Pastor Helton, for being so absolutely amazing! Deb was great at helping us out with last minute wedding plans due to a family situation. We reached out on Monday with plans to marry that Friday and she happily agreed! I am so lucky and thankful that we chose Pastor Deb for our ceremony. My Husband and I wanted to just go elope and plan a wedding at a later time for our one year anniversary but after speaking with Pastor Deb and listening to her speak passionately about making sure our special day was unique and memorable for us we knew we had made the right chose. Pastor Deb did a wonderful job with our wedding. Her price was reasonable. Her chapel was just the right size for our wedding. I loved the large picture of Jesus and the prayer she said during our ceremony. She was very professional. There was only one problem. I understand that my full legal name must be used for the "Do you take this person" part of the ceremony. But she forgot that I (the bride) am not called by government name like I told her in our first text. Instead, my middle name and she kept repeating my first name for the ENTIRE ceremony and afterwards. But all is well. She is a lovely person and my husband and I plan on visiting her church services occasionally. God bless Pastor Deb.

Pastor Deb was fantastic to work with on our wedding and the vows were fantastic. She was incredibly accommodating with our first visit with her. I was in person while my wife video called in. She took the time during that visit to thoroughly get to know us and our family. After that first talk we had a great repour. We are a blended family with a mine, ours, and hers in regards to children. We knew we wanted to incorporate each of them in the wedding and have them acknowledged. She worked with us in designing a ceremony that would highlight my and my wife's relationships as well as our blended family. We did the ceremony downtown at the Middle grounds park and with a small gathering of friends and family. We lucked out with the weather and venue and it turned out amazing. My husband and I got married in July 2021. Paster Deb went out of her way to get to know us prior to the wedding. We set up pre-marriage counseling with her (optional but recommend!) where we did some really great relationship exercises and held very productive conversations. After being with my now husband for 7 years, we still both learned things about each other from the sessions! Leading up to the wedding Paster Deb checked in often to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed. Then on the day of the wedding, Paster Deb showed up early to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed prior to the ceremony. The ceremony was exactly as we planned thanks to Paster Deb.

My husband and I wanted to do a very small and intimate wedding. From the moment I spoke with Deb I knew it was meant to be. I knew she was the one who was supposed to marry us. Deb was nothing short than Amazing! She knew exactly what we wanted and needed to make our day special. Deb was our last puzzle piece to bring our wedding together. Little did I know, but Deb is also the First puzzle piece to Our future as husband and wife! Beyond how professional and amazing Deb was, I have to share that we were also a blessing to Deb. For she seen our true love for one another and seen our family together and she could feel all the happiness and love we all shared. To be apart of that, Deb made it clear to us, that she was beyond blessed to be apart of our wedding. This has truly been a wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Deb, for she truly believes in Love and will not disappoint.

Deb was so sweet with the whole process. Made it so easy for me to take some weight off of my shoulders. She arrived super early to make sure she was going to be there and not have any issues. She was part of a surprise wedding that I planned. I would highly recommend anyone to use Debs services.

Perfect Ceremony
Pastor Helton officiated our ceremony on November 25th 2020. It was pouring rain and we had an outdoor wedding. It was perfect. Throughout the entire process she was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the ceremony and she was professional throughout. It was absolutely perfect and was exactly what we were looking for. Pastor Deb was awesome.
We are so glad we found Pastor Deb. She immediately called me when I sent her an inquiry and we set a date to meet and hang out for a couple hours to make sure we were all on the same page. Our venue changed a month before the wedding date and Pastor Deb was happy to accommodate the change. The ceremony was exactly what we hoped for. We wouldn't have changed a thing. We would definitely recommend Pastor Deb to our family and friends.

Pastor Deb was wonderful! She was so kind and personable! We met with her prior to the wedding and we were both instantly comfortable with her. She was more than willing to do anything we needed. She traveled to the Marblehead Lighthouse for our ceremony, and even wore a jacket that matched our color scheme!! I definitely recommend her. Deb is an amazing woman of God. She was our wedding officiant and my wife and I also did 2 pre-marital counseling sessions with her which were amazing. Just be prepared to break ground because Deb will leave no stone unturned. Deb also did my brother’s wedding and my Mom’s as well so it only made sense to have her to mine as well. I really can’t say enough good things about Deb.

My now wife and I were out in a pinch when we had an officiant and was backed out on a week before our wedding. I scrambled and asked a few and Pastor Deb responded quickly! She was very professional and accommodating for our beach wedding out at Camp Perry. Her professionalism was appreciated, especially with our rowdy bunch. We had a very small intimate wedding on the beach, Pastor Deb met with us a month in advance, she was very personable, she kept in touch throughout the month. The day of the ceremony, she was very relaxed and easy going that it allowed us to be comfortable, her service was traditional yet she added a lot of personality. Deb was amazing she helped us through the ceremony planning and rehearsal. Our ceremony was exactly what we were looking for! We even had guests comment on how great she was! Defiantly recommend her!

Pastor Deb was absolutely fabulous!!! She is so sweet, so accommodating, so genuine, I could not have asked for a better officiant / person to handle our ceremony. With a nervous fiance, and short wedding schedule, everyone was set at ease going into the ceremony and everyone felt right at home in the church and in her presence. She just made the day absolutely perfect we so appreciated having her. She was a gem to find and we are so glad we did, she is just what we were looking for.

Pastor Deb was so kind and generous to officiate our wedding. She was very flexible when I had to change the rehearsal date from the Thursday before the wedding the Friday before the wedding. She made our ceremony what we wanted and we could not have asked for anything better.
