Pasta Chef Catering was wonderful! The food is excellent and their staff is friendly and helpful. We had a day time wedding and we had the pasta and omelet stations. They were both a hit, especially the omelet station for brunch. Mishele was great, she was so helpful in guiding me to make my big day special. I would highly recommend. -

My wedding venue had recommended Pasta Chef Catering and I can absolutely see why! I couldn't have asked for a better caterer for my wedding. They were professional, extremely easy to work with, the food was amazing, and the pasta station was able to cater to every guest. The price was very reasonable for such great quality food and outstanding service! -

We stumbled upon Pasta Chef at a local bridal pop up and I'm so glad we did! The entire process with them was so smooth. From booking to everything the day of! The food was a hit, everyone was raving about the pasta and garlic bread for WEEKS! It was so nice that everyone gets to customize their own pasta so it pleased even our pickiest of eaters. They were also so kind and made sure to check on my husband and I throughout dinner to see what we needed. Would definitely recommend them! -

We had Pasta Chef for our caterer and bartenders on 2/22/20 at the St. Pete Woman's Club. Michael and Brigitte were awesome along with all of their staff! Brigitte treated us like king and queen, making sure we had everything we needed and refilling our drinks when needed. It was amazing to not have to worry about anything and just relax. The food was excellent and everyone said they loved how unique the experience was. I highly recommend Pasta Chef! -

We had an appetizer hour with vegetable platters and gourmet cheese and crackers.Then We did a pasta bar with salad and fresh garlic bread. The food was fantastic and the chefs were professional and moved our guests through the line quickly. We loved the idea of having fresh food that everyone could design their own dish. They even have gluten free pasta. -

The guys at Pasta Chef are brilliant. We are from the UK and found them by chance. We got married on the beach and had about 50 guests. They came and set up at our venue and the food was fantastic. We had 2 chefs and they also provided a bar service for us. Everybody was really friendly and our guests were amazed at the quality of the food.
I would not hesitate to recommend these guys

When we started looking at caterers, I didn't really consider pasta as an option because we aren't big pasta eaters. But, as we started looking at different companies with more "traditional" wedding menus (chicken with potatoes and green beans type things), the more we realized how much it was going to cost us to feed all of our vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, lactose intolerant and other guests that couldn't eat the other foods (without only serving them salad). Pasta chef catering was WONDERFUL. ALL of our guests were happy, well fed, and loved the customization of their dinner. There were multiple pasta types, sauce types, main add ins (chicken, sausage, veggies), and extras like artichoke hearts, garlic, sundried tomatoes, etc... They were nice enough to provide gluten free pasta at no extra charge and provide unbuttered bread.
They were always good about responding to my questions, showing me the cost breakdown of everything, set up and clean up, were very professional to our guests, and served us first to get the dinner rolling and keep the bride and groom fed. DEFINITELY recommend- we received so many compliments on our catering choice. -

I have nothing but the best of things to say from this Caterer. I feel like they went above and beyond to make things perfect for us. They were extremely affordable and payment was convenient. Any last minute changes I had were taken care with no problems. Our wedding was April 20 2019 and my guests loved the food and the caterers. I would definitely recommend to any and everyone. -

I can't stress this to you enough... everyone LOVED Pasta Chef Catering at our wedding! We chose them for dinner, appetizers, and bartending service with the mixer package. WORTH EVERY PENNY. The staff was very attentive to us and our guests. Not to mention the food is DELICIOUS. Almost everyone went back for more! Highly recommend for your wedding!!! -
April Sent on 12/29/2017We had an excellent experience with Irene and Michael. They were so easy to work with! We hired them for our October 2017 wedding, and we couldn't have been more thrilled. We hired them because they were the cheapest I could find and I hired them without doing a taste test! THEIR FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! Our guests even months later are still telling us how awesome the food was! They made sure that we ate first and escorted us to the buffet line and made sure we had a drink and food and anything else we could need! He check in with us frequently to see if there was anything we needed or anything he could do to help with ANYTHING! We even had extra servers and one that doubled as a second bartender when the food was finished! They were WAY more than a caterer. They exceeded my expectations to the fullest. They also stayed with my wedding planner into the wee hours of the night cleaning up our venue!
We also hired their bartender and bar package. We supplied all of our liquor, wine, and beer, and they stocked the rest of the mixers, blenders, fruit, shakers, ice, bottle openers, napkins, cups, straws, etc! It was the best money I could have ever spent! It made our lives sooo much easier! They were even available for me to pick their brain on what liquors to purchase, what wines, and how much of everything they thought I would need. At the last minute I sent a text asking if they could set up a table outside for a cocktail hour since our venue wouldn't be open to our guests until after pictures, and they said, "Sure. No problem!" And there they were with their coolers, a beautiful table display, and happy guests with drinks! We also added in the Gourmet Cheese/Crackers/Vegetable Platter during the cocktail hour! They really did a phenomenal job, and I was just OVER THE MOON with their service. -

Despite price and good reviews we were reluctant to book Pasta Chef only because we’re not big on Italian food. After experiencing a delicious taste test a a bridal show, we gave them another look.
Boy are we glad we did! One of the biggest benefits is that all of your guests are guaranteed a HOT plate! Everyone raved about it and loved that they could pick and choose what they wanted in their particular dishes as they stepped up to 1 of 3 chefs cooking on the spot!
What you get for the value is really hard to beat. It was a delightful bonus that they were also responsive, polite and professional. It’s a family owned business and they truly make you feel like family. They never tired of our questions nor our occasional indecisiveness. Highly recommend!

I chose Michelle’s catering service for my wedding, expecting professional and efficient service. Regrettably, the experience fell short of these expectations. Firstly, the dinner service, which was supposed to last only an hour, extended to three hours, disrupting our wedding schedule significantly.
Additionally, we encountered a problem with the food quantity - specifically, a shortage of pasta. This was puzzling, especially since we did not have extra plates for seconds, which made the explanation of guests having multiple servings unlikely. Michelle’s justification involved washing dishes for serving seconds, a practice that seemed irregular and questionable.
There was also a notable issue with the staff provided. I was initially assured of having four cooks for the event, but only two were present, contributing to the service delay.
Most concerning, however, was Michelle’s behavior when I addressed these issues. She displayed a passive-aggressive attitude and even laughed in my face, dismissively calling me a joke. This level of unprofessionalism was upsetting, particularly on such an important occasion as my wedding.
I attempted to discuss a partial refund due to these significant service failings, but Michelle was unresponsive and unwilling to acknowledge her service’s shortcomings. It’s crucial for future clients to be aware of these potential issues when considering her catering services. -

We chose Pasta Chef Catering for our wedding based on Mishele Sileo's persuasive sales pitch—warm, attentive, and seemingly caring. She promised professional service for our ~130-guest reception, including full food service, cake cutting and serving, and leftovers packaged for us to take home. We paid the full amount of $5,624.67 promptly when requested.
Mishele was not present on the wedding day and provided no on-site supervision. Instead, her staff delivered a series of serious failures:
- Food was served cold in many cases.
- The sweetheart table charcuterie sat out for hours and became inedible/unsafe.
- Staff had to be repeatedly reminded to cut and serve the wedding cake—otherwise it would not have happened. We never got a single piece of our own cake.
- Staff were observed openly eating from guest food and our cake.
- Leftovers were consumed by staff; we received only stale breadsticks and wilted lettuce.
- Numerous wedding favors (including lottery tickets placed at each seat) were stolen—confirmed by multiple guests who witnessed it.
Only 103 guests attended, and 22 left early before food service began. That left 49 paid-for guests who never received a proper meal—equating to roughly $1,960 in undelivered food value (based on per-person pricing).
Over 40 witnesses—including off-duty law enforcement officers, teachers, professors, business owners, retired military, church members, children, our photographers, and even the venue owners—corroborated every detail.
When we raised these issues politely with Mishele, she dismissed our concerns, fully sided with her staff (despite not being present), and offered excuses rather than accountability. After stalling with excuses and sad stories, she stopped responding entirely—even after we reduced our request from the full $1,960 to just a $500 goodwill refund to put the matter behind us.
This isn't an isolated bad day; her refusal to address legitimate complaints or make it right has caused significant additional stress, emotional distress, and family frustration during what should have been a happy newlywed period.
We strongly advise any couple—especially brides planning their first wedding—to look elsewhere. Mishele's charm upfront does not match the reality of her service or her handling of problems. We regret not seeing the red flags sooner and will pursue full restitution through small claims court (including damages, stress-related harm, and attorney fees) if she continues to ignore us.
