We got a Party bus (Princess Tina) for our wedding in May 2011. I was very happy with Party Ride. We were so worried because Party Ride is in Brentwood, LI and we are in Central New Jersey...but they were on time, very professional, the bus was so nice and comfortable. I highly recommend them. Their prices are great. We were so glad we got the Party Bus. We had a blast! -

After reading the some of the horrible reviews online I was very nervous about having hired this company for my son's bar mitzvah. I am very pleased to be able to come back and now and write a glowing review. They were on time, professional and courteous. My son and his friends loved the buses. They were transportated safely through a MAJOR rain/windstorm. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was respectful and courteous-thank you Dee Dee, Natasha and Kerri! -

My husband and I rented the Vip King Philip Party Bus and we had a great experience for our wedding. It was a bit pricy, but not far from the other vendors. Maybe within $100.00 or so. This Party Bus was not the typical Party Bus with all the laser lights, fog machines and strobe lights....
It was just a very clean bus with comfortable couch leather seating and nice wooden tables. We had a wonderful driver, I believe his name was Oneil ( Thank You Sir!!!! ) and a wonderful host serving drinks and little snacks. I can't believe what I am reading now .... well regardless that just shows that you cannot believe everything that you read on the internet.... We had several sales people helping us ....all on the same page and thank the lord that you guys delivered, because I would have had to answer to many people!!! I suggest that everyone does their homework.
Just stay in touch with the same sales rep all the time, ask questions and have a great wedding like we did......

I booked The Party Ride for a prom event on Monday, June 13. They were supposed to be there at 7 PM, and got there 15 minutes early so we could sign everything we needed to and figure out the logistics. The bus was very nice (it was a 40 passenger, queen maria I believe). The TV worked, the speakers worked (and were amazing), the AC worked, and the bus was clean. There were 2 people on board (one driver and one "helper"), and both did a great job at being professional and ensuring our comfort. After the prom event, we had a 2 hour drive to the Hamptons. The 2 guys helped us load our luggage onto the bus, kept us entertained with music, and got us there well on time.
The Party Ride, for whatever reason, has terrible reviews everywhere you look. However, I found them to be a great company. I spoke with Stephen on the phone and he was great. The people on the bus were helpful. The price was okay, but the customer service made it feel worth it. They always helped me in any way they could. Highly recommend this company! -

When we went to book this vendor, we had a certain idea in mind of how much we wanted to spend and how much time we needed the bus for. We rented a party bus for our wedding in September to pick us up at 2:30 p.m. and then drop us off at the end of the night at our hotel.
They were on time at each of the stops.
The bus was clean and neat.
Everyone fit (we had three little boys, their parents, 8 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen and the two of us)
The sound system worked great and so did the lights and TVs.
Everyone in our bridal party, including us, loved it.
The price was reasonable.
The only thing I would say is to tell the driver if you are planning on feeding him because my catering manager at the hall didn't tell him and he missed out on a dinner. I would highly recommend The Party Ride. -

We rented the party bus for the entire day at a reasonable price. The driver was on time coming from New York, I live in Philadelphia (this was a biggie for me). The day started and ended great, we fed the driver and he was very friendly and attentive. I did not give them 5 stars because I SPECIFICALLY many times, a bus without a pole! This is a wedding and not a bachelorette party. I did not want the pole at all and they sent me a bus with a pole! I was disappointed but it was my wedding day and I didn’t want to be upset. The driver explained that the original bus broke down and he couldn’t get it fixed and get to me on time so he chose another bus. It is understandable that things happen so I let it go and enjoyed my wedding day. -

Our driver was a tad late picking us up, but nothing to really complaing about. His driving wasnt great as we nearly had an accident steps away from our reception. BUT.. the price was unbeatable!!!! For a 30 passenger bus, only $750! -

I had wanted something really different for my transportation and had a large bridal party to boot (23). Originally I had wanted a trolley but they were like $1200 and I didn't want to spend that much. I was quoted a price over the phone for the party ride and was told something slightly higher when I went to book. I signed anyway since it still wasn't too high. When the Huntington Townhouse closed and I had to book the reception somewhere else my first date was taken and I had to do it a day earlier. Every vendor I had was fine with the date change and very understanding. The Party Ride ended up charging me an extra $400.00 because of the date change and then I ended up going over my time and had to pay a little more and when it was all said and done I could have gotten my Trolley for the money!
However, in spite of all that, the bus was prompt, clean, roomy and did fit my whole bridal party. 2 more small complaints,1- the bathroom door was broken and wouldn't stay shut and I had kids on the bus and the bus driver started smoking at one point - half my bridal party including me and my husband smoke and we waited until we were off the bus. -

I have recently be on 2 party bus parties. One was a girls get together and one was a bridal shower. I had a blast! Best time of my life with my favorite people...my friends and sisters. One concern i did have was the music system did not play properly so we didn't get our dancing out our systems. Another problem i had was the curtains were broken here and there. I did not feel comfortable dancing while driving through the streets of manhattan and everyone staring right at us. other than that, everything else was fine. drivers were extremely friendly and cooperative. will deff go again, but hope for a cleaner bus..with curtains and no holes in the seats. :) -

we asked for a white limo for our wedding it was black,also smaller then we asked for, we were told to give an itinerary when he got there he did not have it air conditioner broke bathroom door broke laser lights not working smoke machine not working, driver was not dressed for the occation, no church runner,bus was dirty and sticky found a cigerette butt on the seats,smelled like a dirty old bar. when we called and emailed them to complain,we got no responses at all.not even to apologize. to busy to respond? dont know when i sent another request for a bus tough they responded within 24 hrs. would not use them ever again or recommend them to anyone,just for the fact of there lack of customer service -

Our driver was phenomenal. The sales people left a lot to be desired. The wrong colored bus showed up (which did not fit the theme of the wedding, which was very important to me) - it was supposed to be black or silver and a green bus showed up. The solution the company offered? A discount on a future booking. Thanks, but no thanks. This was a wedding. The correct color bus should have been sent originally. -

The bus arrived 15 minutes late and was filthy. The seats had some sticky stuff on them, the TV did not work, the bathroom door was broke, they sent the wrong limo and the driver took the longest way possible to get to the church. The busdrive was originally cordial, however, she rolled her eyes at me in disgust when I tipped her a 50.
This gets soo much worse. After the reception I returned to my honeymoon suite to see that my phone had 3 missed calls, all from the same unrecognizable number. I checked my voice mail to learn the driver had been calling me with an "emergency" begging me to call her back. When I called her back, she told me she lost the cashiers check I gave her. That was her emergency on my wedding night!!!!!
She then proceeded to tell me how her managers don't give a F!!! about her and if she doesn't get them the money she will be fired. I decided to be a good citizen and have the original cashiers check cancelled the following week and have a new check reissued, (a process that takes 90 days with my bank). The driver proceeded to hound me with a phone call every two weeks for 3 months!!!!! Each time trying to give me her sob story about being fired. She then proceeded to ask me if we could meet up in order to get the check from me!!!
After the new cashiers check was reissued, I mailed it to the Party Ride. I told them to inform the driver and to make sure she stopped calling me. The driver called me again anyways, at work!!! She told me that she heard nothing from the Party Ride and that they docked her pay for the amount of the original lost check.
Worst experience with a vendor I have ever had. Do not use this vendor!!!!! -

Please Please Please , Bride find another company. This company is the absolute worst. The party bus arrived almost an hour late picking up the bride. The wedding started 40 minutes late because of this. After the wedding, in route to the reception, we were scheduled to stop for pictures at the brides family farm. When we got back on the bus the driver informed me that we were behind schedule and that if I wanted to continue the ride I needed to pay for an hour overtime. I told the driver that we werent over the contracted time yet and we were running late because he was an hour late picking up the bride. The driver called his supervisor and put me on the phone with him. I told the supervisor the situation and he told me that if I wanted the bus to move I would have to pay. The bride was in tears at this point, so I agreed to pay 1/2 hour overtime at $87.00. I had contracted the bus until 6:00 pm and arrived at the reception at 6:20.
The wedding and reception both started late because the bus was an hour late picking up the bride. When I later contacted this company to try to get my overtime charge back, they told me I was beat for it.
The bus was filthy, the sink was filled with food. the toilet would not flush because there was no water and was filled with waste from the last time it was used. The companies answer to this was, "you should have gotten off the bus if it was that bad". -

HORIBLE! He showed up early and thats about all I can give him. The wrong bus showed up. I paid for a 44 and i got a 40. I purposly requested a smoking bus but he complained of the smell of smoke. Then he kept bugging me about tips. He didnt want to go to times square because it was too congested. On top of it all we got in an accident. This company is a total joke. -

Another dissapointed customer. I ordered a white 30 passenger bus ( Queen Alexandrea) for my daughters wedding. I was told this was one of the newest buses they had and even the person I spoke with on the phone said he was using it for his own wedding in early August. The bus did show up on time but was not the bus I ordered, it was a green bus. I was furious to see this thing outside my door when it arrived. To make matters even worse it had rips on the seats that were covered with tape, the TV didn't work and the outside of the bus was in pretty bad shape. The wheels were banged up and even had surface rust around the edge of the windows all around. Hey we had to make the best of it since there was nothing we could do about this but I will try to get some money back but will not know if i will be succesful. I would not ever rent from this company again. I wish I had done more research about this company. -

TERRIBLE SERVICE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DRIVER, UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF WHEN HANDLING COMPLAINTS, THEY DON'T RESPOND BACK TO YOU~
The Party Ride was for my wedding. I Contracted for my wedding on 8/7/2010. Unfortunately I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided for my once-in-a-lifetime event and felt compelled to share these gross discrepancies with you.
First of all, The driver was asked to wait with the bus across the street instead of the parking lot so it wouldn't block other residents UNTIL the bride and the bridal party came out because they were still taking some pictures with the photographer. The driver then never pulled the bus up to the building complex where the bride could then picked up she had to walk across the street and into the dirt on the other side of the road because the bus was parked so close to the curb.
The driver parked the party bus more than a football field away from the entrance to the church, (where we asked the bus to be) till after the ceremony.
After the ceremonial exiting from the church we had to walk all the way to the limo, which could have easily been pulled up to the church at any point but he didn't. He had to have seen the my Bride trying to walk in a wedding gown and heals both at the condo complex and the church.
Also, it was expressed to us prior to the wedding that a white runner would be laid out for the entrance to the Bus. In effect my wife had to walk across an asphalt & dirt parking lot with 7 bridesmaids and 3 of them holding her dress around her so it didn’t get ruined before other pictures.
The Driver never came to help the bride, or anyone for that matter, into the bus and had the air conditioning off and the roof access panel open in the 98 degree weather.
Not only was he incredibly rude by ignoring our radio requests and not introducing himself, his driving was horrendous. He stopped in the middle of a street and parked, forcing a groomsman’s father who is a state trooper, to get out of his vehicle and force him to park because he was putting the people driving behind the bus in danger of being rear-ended. There was also no soda and not enough water provided for the all twenty people on the bus. We tried to turn the strobe light on and they didn’t work.
Now the worst part, when we got to the reception facility, we were an hour early. The brides step father came out to give the driver the check and also his tip, so that he himself didn't get side tracked with guests.
With receiving payment the driver Immediately got in to the bus, the bride had just stepped off and didn't get a chance to even look back inside the bus. The driver was already back in the bus and driving off.
He took off with at least $625.00 worth or more, of flowers that were in the back of the bus that the driver himself put back there upon request of the brides mother who paid for the bus, at final confirmation because the flowers had to be brought back to the reception hall, and then the next day for other use some place else.
The brides mother is LIVID !
The driver never asked if we needed him any longer considering that we paid for another hour and was not given it. Since there was a lot more time the photographer wanted to go to another area for more pictures because there was an entire hour left. This can be confirmed with the reception hall regarding the time of arrival.
The brides step father called the driver when he was told that the bus driver had left an hour earlier with all the flowers, and the driver told the brides step dad that he was on his way to Philly and could not turn around and come back.
We expect full compensation for our flowers, our time paid for not given to us and for the inconvenience to the bride and the photographer.
My Mother in law has already left contact about this and will be expecting a call.
I will never ever again use your services and will never recommend to anyone we know, and will tell everyone not to use your services if we are not compensated.
THEY STILL HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO THIS COMPLAINT LETTER.
We should all pull together and take them to court for breach of contract ....

My daughter used this company for her prom. They sent a bus with no air conditioning on a 100 degree day. The group could not board the bus due to excessive heat. The office would not answer our calls and did nothing to solve the issue. We had to drive 30 students to prom in cars. This company should have it's license revoked. They provide unsafe, dirty buses and have zero regard for their customers. Do not even think about using them! -

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Reading everyone's reviews, I wish I did more research on the company as well. On the night of my 21st birthday, the wrong bus arrived (just like many other customers) not only that but I ordered a 30 passenger bus and I had 32 people. I was not told on the phone, the website, the contract that 30 was the max and the driver threatened to kick everyone off the bus unless I tipped him $200!! When I went to complain a couple days later I was told to send an email and they'd reply in 3 days max. A week later I called to complain about the lack of response and had to wait on the phone for 45 minutes!!! The person said it would be my word vs. the driver's and he would have to ADMIT to demanding the $200 in order to receive any of it back. She also said she'd call back by Monday the latest (5 days after the phone call) and needless to say...it's Thursday.
HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! TAKES ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS!!! -

This company is absolute s***. They ruined a prom for 44 kids because there bus broke down and never made it to the pickup spot. The representatives are rude and inconsiderate and they hung up on me and turned off their phone lines. Never use this bus it is absolute garbage -

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! SCAM!!! This company is a complete scam. I booked this bus and the very next day I had to cancel because the venue went out of business. They charged me the entire amount $1,450. When I canceled (again, the very next day) they told me no problem we will credit your refund. It has been 8 weeks and I call every day, they refuse to return my calls or refund me the money. The women who answer the phone are extremely hostile and have no manners. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! -

DO NOT USE THIS BUS COMPANY!! The bus was filthy and looked like it was in an accident, dented in front and rear of the bus. We were on the bus from the church to the reception when the air conditioning crapped out. The father of the bride, who was on the bus, was released from the hospital the morning of the wedding with a heart condition. We also had two grandmothers over the age of 85 on the bus as well. All of the bridesmaids spent hundreds of dollars getting their makeup done prior, all to be melted off. There was nothing that could be done at the time so we just dealt with it. After the wedding we spoke to the office to complain but they were extremely rude! We left message after message with Tina and others in the office, and we wrote an email, per Tina's request. We were told we had to speak with Mark, the accountant, who was apparently never in the office. We received no follow up calls. They refused to do anything about it. I would never recommend this company to anyone!! -

My sorority recently reserved a 30 person party bus. We had the bus drive us from our college campus to a surrounding city two hours away. From the get go the driver arrived late due to having the wrong address. When the driver did finally arrive an hour late, he then asked we pay him an additional fee. After debating about the change of price, we set off for our destination. We had agreed to be picked back up at 2:30am. When the driver returned at 3am he told us we were over the time limit and tried to charge us another $400. When we explained we could not pay the additional fee on the spot, he called the cops. The situation escalated and the driver became very argumentative. The police informed him he had a contract and was required to drive us home. The driver then drove us an hour away from our college, but conveniently an hour closer to his. Then he told us the bus had "broken" down. Also conveniently, at a rest stop. We were offered no assistance in getting back to our college campus. Instead all 30 of us were left stranded in an unfamiliar city. Some parents drove ours to pick us up, some people paid expensive cab fees to return, and then some of us took a grey hound bus, not arriving back to campus until 3:00pm the next day. We have tried contacting this company and asking we be refunded for our horrible experience. The party ride is a rude and unprofessional company with no regard for their customer?s personal satisfaction or safety for that matter. -

I reserved this bus 3 weeks ago for my birthday. The bus was suppose arrive at 9pm and bring me and 29 friends to a club where I was having a birthday party. Someone from the company call me at 9:05 and said your bus isn't coming and hung up in me!!!!!!! I called back constantly and I kept being sent to different voicemails! I STILL haven't spoken to anyone! I PAID the bus in FULL 1700$!!!! I've contacted a lawyer and I will take action against them! I ended up missing my party and I have to pay these people their money back! This company is a scam!!!! Please don't use them! -

This is the WORST company ever!!! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND MONEY AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Bus was dirty, picked me up 45 mins late, the driver was a mess with stains all over his clothes and his shirt untucked and his pants unzipped, the bathroom toilet was full and my bus smelled of piss, the seats were torn, didn't get the bus I ordered, the step was broken, sound system broken, strobe lights broken, fog machine broken....an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY! I was told i would receive a 300 refund in May and its now Dec I've just rec 100...customer service is non existent. ..so disgusted by the company -

Under no circumstances should anybody use their service. We used this company and to begin they were an hour late with NO courtesy call. We tried calling numerous times and the dispatcher and customer service line both had full mail boxes and no one to answer the line. When we did get a hold of someone we were put on hold for 15 minutes with no response.
We started calling other bus companies and finally when the bus showed up he mentioned he knew he would be late. He stated he called the dispatcher to let us know but no one ever called. We were offered an extra hour but that hour was not what we needed. So when we discussed with the driver who stated he spoke with the dispatcher manager that it would be okay if they refunded us some of our money. We mentioned to the driver we need this in writing or we will not get on this bus. He had a written statement which I saw and signed.
The next few days I sent an email to my representative with NO response. Finally I called and the person who answer stated "your representative is on vacation" without asking my name or date we used the bus. We are STILL waiting on a response.
To top it all off, the bus bathroom was disgusting. So save yourself the headache. -

STAY AWAY from this company. We had a fiftieth birthday party for my husband and the bus was at least 30 minutes late. When it DID arrive I was appalled at the condition of the bus. It was shabby, dirty and smelled like bathroom. The air conditioning did not work nor did the tv and dvd, which i qwas planning to use for a picture presentation.
After boarding the bus the driver wanted a full payment of the balance which we would not give, as he was late and the condition of the bus was deplorable. We sat for another 45 minutes while the driver talked on the phone to dispatch about what to do. Some of my guests did get off and got in their cars. I was extremely embarrassed and upset as I wanted to provide a nice experience for them to celebrate the birthday. My guests were wonderful about it and we did finally get on the road.
I was so upset the whole day and will NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE. -

This company sucks!!!! Don't use this company!!!! They were 50 minutes late picking up my daughter and 39 of her friends for prom. And the 40 passenger bus that we rented didnt arrive - instead a 20 passenger bus was sent and they had to squeeze on!!! The woman in sales was absolutely rude!!! I called the owner on Monday, but was told to send an email instead. Worst customer service ever!!!! Don't use this company!!!! -

I wish I read all these reviews before booking.....got lost for 40 mins on my wedding day then tried to argue with me about paying an overtime charge ......strobe lights didn't work....door kept opening while bus was moving ...no wetbar /ice/drinks .....barely fit 24 ppl in 30 passenger bus.....when I called to complain Natasha was rude and nasty ....she then proceeded to scream at me then hang up.....I did some research and they have OVER 120 COMPLAINTS ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE ......FILE A COMPLAINT!!!!!! PLEASE stay away from this company!!! My niece & 39 of her high school friends rented a party bus 3 months in advance, for their senior prom. Vanessa called & confirmed 5x w arrangements. & paid!! The day before the prom she received a called they over booked & can not help them!!! What a DISGRACE!!! on top of that we NEEDED the money back, to try to get anything for the next day. The employee kept insuring me it was put back into vanessas account yesterday. WRONG!!! nothing!! isn't it hard enough being in school, working to make this the night of your life, then have these IDIOTS screw you over!!! leave you hanging & keep your money!! In December of 2011 my fiancee and I reserved a 44 passenger party bus to celebrate our bachlor/bachlorette party which was taking place on 4/14/2012. We paid in FULL $2400 and looked forward to enjoying the night with family and friends. On the day of our reservation a dispatcher called my phone hours before our pick up time claiming the bus broke down and they had NO replacement. Now, at this point i have 44 angry and upset people waiting to get on a party bus whom already had taken off from work, got babysitters for their kids,etc. They completely ruined our plans!!! We felt so humiliated and i spend most of the night crying. To top it off we had to wait until monday to finally speak with their refund department. The woman was rude and unprofessional and stated that they would not compansate us for the SCHOOL BUS we had to end up taking to get to our destination. After numerous phone calls, being placed on hold over and over again, and being hung up on i contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. We also booked a limo with this company in june for our wedding which was also paid in full, and demanded a refund because they are NOT RELIABLE!!!!! DONT LET YOUR NIGHT BE RUINED TOO!!!!!!!!!! -

~ The party bus did not arrive at the 1st stop as scheduled, as a result, the groom and groomsmen (13 of them) had to drive to the church
~ The party bus arrived 15 minutes late to my parents house, where my bridesmaids and myself were...making us about 30 minutes late for our ceremony. We ended up having to pay a $250 late fee.
~ After the ceremony, the bus drove the bridal party to the reception.
~ After that, they were suppose to pick up our guests at 2 hotels (we decided to use the bus rather than the hotel transportation because it fit more ppl) however, the bus ended up getting lost...I believe it made one trip (shuttled about 6 ppl) All the other guests ended up taking taxis' to the reception venue and ended up missing the cocktail hour.
~ After the reception, I know ppl ended up taking cabs home because of the previous issues with the bus.
~ On top of everything that happened, we gave the driver a 20% tip because we felt bad that she did not have a GPS system in her bus and she was very nice.
All in all...we paid a lot of money for a very nice cocktail hour, that half our guests didn't even get to enjoy. However, that wasn't even the worst part....the worst part was getting someone on the phone to complain about the disaster that happened on our wedding day. Three weeks after our wedding, I emailed Wilson, the person I originally spoke to and booked the bus...he FWD me to Harold. I spoke to Harold, emailed Harold, spoke to him on the phone again & emailed him two more times to later find out...two months later, he no longer works there. I got sent to Natasha and I have NO words to describe how rude this girl was. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY....they are unprofessional & do not know how to admit when they have done something wrong. -

There are SO MANY other companies out there! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. They take peoples money and run.
Not only was our bus an hour late, the driver was RUDE, the bus smelled and was NOT what the pictures showed, it did not have TP for the bathroom and the cd player did not work. HOW IS THIS A PARTY BUS?! All this place did was stress us out! Do yourselves a favor and book elsewhere. -

We were promised the newest vehicle in there fleet.
Driver arrived in a bus that had a broken front door. He actually stopped on the highway and asked us to help him tie it closed with a rope. Very unsafe vehicle and also had fumes coming in from the exhaust system. No GPS so we had to direct the driver the entire 1.5 hour trip. On our return, the driver got lost and went over a bridge that was not capable of carrying the weight and the state police had to back us off the bridge. This took over an hour and when we arrived home an hour late, we were charged the extra hour. When we reached out to the company to complain, we were completely ignored. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY...YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY! -

My husband and I booked Party Ride for our wedding - with a bridal party of 26 people. Our wedding just so happen to fall on the weekend of Hurricane Irene. It was their own decision to cancel on us the day before our wedding. The representative called me to cancel on Party Ride's request and I was told we'd receive a full refund - for over $1400. It has now been 2 months and we haven't received a refund. The customer service representative continues to run us around in circles with why they are delayed in the refund. We're at the point now where we're filing legal action. We also saw this company on the local news for the same thing - taking people's money for no service and not refunding...even bounced checks! I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone - BE CAREFUL!!!!! I may have gotten married on one of the worst unexpected weather weekend's of the season...but having them drag on with our refund is way worse...especially since we're 2 month newlyweds and still dealing with them!!!! -

I am just happy this site will actually let you write a zero for a score of this company, because that is exactly what you will get form them. ZERO customer service, zero service in general since for my function they just never showed up, zero calls to let me know that the bus had broke down, zero apologies for the inconvenience, zero refund of my money (John the owner or his lap dog Mark will not return any of my calls for my deposit refund), and finally zero ethics. Stay as far away from this company as possible. -

Where do I start with this company-
My best friend put together a fabulous day of wine tasting in South Jersey. We were told the bus would meet us at the tropicana at 10:30am. So at that time me and my 15 friends waited at the bus depot at the Trop for the bus to come. We had lugged coolers and bags of food for a day of fun! Well at 10:20 we get a call from the driver saying that he got "stuck" at the Holland Tunnel bus inspection and was about an hour away from AC. So my MOH got upset (obviously). The excuse made is seem like it was not his fault but we were pissed that he called us 10 minutes before he was supposed to get there. Why not call us at 9am when he first got stuck! My friends and I could of made other arrangements for the morning instead of being packed and ready to go. Well an hour late turned into him showing up at 1pm! 2 and a half hours late. In the mean time my MOH was calling customer service saying we were not going to give him the rest of the money because we are not getting the service we wanted. The rep assured us that on Monday she would be reimbursed her deposit for him being late. Well a month later- many emails and phone calls later- she has received NO return email or call.
Ok the next issue is when the bus finally arrived 2 1/2 hours later we boarded and was on the road. Only to find out that Air Conditioning did not work AND the toilet did not flush! So we had 15 people on this bus (AND ONE BEING 5 MONTHS PREGNANT) with no working AC or toilet. UGH!
I came on here to write and review and I am floored at how many people wrote about their horrible service. How is this company still in business? My MOH has reached out to the NY better business and hopefully that will help.

I booked a party bus from the party ride for my brother's bachelor party. This company is a disgrace. Firstly, they did not show up for the 11:30 AM pickup time. After 20 minutes of waiting, I called them and was promptly placed on hold for 10 minutes. Finally, I hung up and called back and eventually a woman came on the phone and informed us that the bus had broken down on the way to our party. She told us that they were "making inquiries" to other companies to see if someone else could send us a bus. I put making inquiries in quotations because after telling us that they'd get back to us and let us know if they found someone, they never called back. We were actually able to find another company within 10 minutes of research who came and picked us up on short notice, so it is doubtful that they called anyone. We then showed up 3 hours late for a 5 hour open bar/bbq that I had scheduled.
The Party Ride never apologized and even after demanding that a supervisor call us back on monday (the bachelor party was on a saturday), no one called. I am still waiting for reimbursement for the money that I paid up front to them. If you are looking for an irresponsible, rude, unreliable company to handle a special, important occasion for you...look no further. Otherwise, don't use this company. You will regret it. -

This company canceled the bus my daughter booked without notice 2 days before the event and will not return the $2,200.00 deposit she gave them. Once they had our money they were rude and very unprofessional The whole business is a scam. They're very quick to take your money, but will give u only aggrivation in return. -

Worst experience of my life, the bus describtions are not correct. our bus didn't have a TV, DVD player, or Ipod hook up as it said it would. The toilet leaked in to the seating area less then 2 hours into the trip, the bus broke down and then once it started back up after a half hour the AC stopped working. Then on the way back the driver was mad we didn't give a full tip on the way down so he refused to stop for food. 8 hours straight we drove with no break. Awful. -

Please if you are reading this do not rent with this company! They are an absollute scam, they did the same thing that many of the people on this site are describing. Party ride cancelled on us 2 hours before my daughters prom, never even called me, I heard this news from the bus company that was contacted through party ride! My daughters prom group ended up going to the prom on a regular "charter" bus instead of a party bus. We paid $3,250 for this bus and have not seen a refund, they are horrible to deal with and I plan on suing them for everything I can. THIS COMPANY SUCKS AND I RECOMMEND NO ONE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM FOR ANYTHING!! -

I reserved and paid in full for a 30 passenger limo bus from The Party Ride for my wedding on May 14th, 2011 at the cost of $1100. The bus was supposed to take us from St John’s the Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for pictures, then from the museum to our wedding reception at Talamore Country Club in Ambler, PA. We had the bus reserved from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Immediately after my wedding ceremony, I left the church to find the bus broken down with a dead battery and my entire wedding party standing outside of the church in the rain. I never even was able to get on the bus. The driver told me that he had left the radio on and the battery died.
I immediately called The Party Ride only to be put on hold for 15 mins then told I would receive a call back. I asked about getting a replacement vehicle and was told it wasn’t likely because they are located in NY and we were in PA they had to check with the dispatch. In the meantime, the driver asked one of the groomsmen to pull up to the bus to assist with a jump using the groomsmen’s vehicle. Since the truck was so large the engine on my friend’s car started to smoke and the jump wasn’t successful. I called The Party Ride again only to be put on hold for another 30 mins or so. This whole time the wedding party and my wife (the bride) sat in the rain waiting.
I finally found out that there would be no resolution from The Party Ride, so we contacted another vendor. We were on a very limited time schedule and since their vehicle did not work we were unable to go our planned location for pictures. Instead we had to sit around and wait and also find alternate transportation for 25 people. This is a day that I can never get back. We had set plans with our photographer for pictures at a certain place and they will never get done. We also had to pay the photographer for this time of just sitting around. I had to pay another company, Ali Baba to come and pick us up. When we left the bus was still sitting in front of the church unable to move.
My wife called the next day 5/15 only to be met with rude opposition from Mark at Party Ride. They said that the person who would process the refund wasn’t there and there was nothing they could do. Mark at Party Ride eventually hung up on my wife. When we returned from our honeymoon, I called The Party Ride on 5/24. I was told that the “accountant” wasn’t there and to try back the next day. Apparently that accountant is Mark, the same person my wife spoke to last time who said he isn’t the guy to help. I then proceeded to contact my lawyer and the bank to dispute the charges. Later that day I called back The Party Ride and reached Stacey the General Manager, who told me she was the person to process complaints and I needed to talk to her not Mark the accountant. She asked me to send an e-mail detailing the events and she would get right back to me. I sent the detailed e-mail on 5/24.
On 5/26/11 after getting no response I called back and asked for Stacey. When she got on the phone she didn’t remember me at all and said she would have to call me back, she was at somebody else’s desk. I realized that this was just another brush off, so I asked her if she received my e-mail. She again asked to call me back, I told her I would hold. She said ok, I will be right back with you. I waited on hold, while at work no less for 60 mins!!! She never came back to me and I finally hung up. I have since tried her back several times, but whenever I give my name they say she is not there or put me on hold for 20-30 mins at a time only to come back every 5 mins and ask who am I holding for and my name. Eventually I just get put to the dispatch voicemail. I called using another name and when Stacey got on the line and found out it was me she hung up.
My Lawyer called and reached Stacey on 5/27 only to be told by her that Mark is the person to talk to, can you see a pattern here. She spoke to Mark to find out who their representation is in PA, so we can file suit. He didn’t know and said he would get back to her. Surprisingly after 2 weeks I finally got a call back from Mark later that day. I missed it and immediately called back, only to be put on hold for 30 mins. Finally I spoke to him and he knew what was going on and said that he is not the one who can give refunds he needs to talk to the owners. Even though I was told on multiple occasions that it is him. He also said this was the first he was hearing about the situation. How quickly he must have forgotten the 30 min conversation with my wife the day after the wedding where he hung up on her. He told me that they would be off Monday for the holiday, he is off on Tuesdays, so he would get back to me with their decision on Wednesday 6/1. I didn’t hear from him on Wednesday so I called him and he told me he didn’t get a chance to talk to the owners, he would get back to me that day. I didn’t hear from him that day or the next, so I called him the morning of Friday 6/3. He said that he was off on Thursday and didn’t get a chance to talk to the owners. Mark called me back on Monday 6/6/11 to inform me that the owner is not going to refund our money. I asked him how they can keep this money without providing a service. He said it shouldn’t be that way, but it’s not his decision and the company is having financial problems. Really??? Mark said that he told the owner that the limo had to be towed and he still didn’t care. I don’t know how this company is still in business. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!

I booked a bus for a bachelorette party (happening 9/10/11). First of all, I was appalled at the price, $1800 for 6 hours. That's freaking $300 an hour! But the salesman made me feel pressured into having to reserve the bus at that second. Then I found this website and all the horrible reviews of the company. I do not want my best friends bachelorette turning into a night from hell, especially for this amount of money, the risk is far too great. 4 days after making the reservation I called to cancel only to find out there's no way they will give back the $300 deposit. What did you people do for me that warrants you deserving $300 for 4 days? The woman then said she would cancel the bus and hung up on me. Not a word about getting a cancellation confirmation or anything. My sheet says cancellation must be in writing or else full amount will be charged. I sent an email to find out about some sort of confirmation and to let someone know about their horribly rude customer service rep, and still no response. -

THE WORST BUS COMPANY EVER. IF YOU D NOT LIVE IN LONG ISLAND THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, CALL YOU THE DAY BEFORE AND CLAIM THE BUS IS BROKEN. THESE BUSES DONT BREAK. Bunch of pathetic liars. Too bad they don't know this time my prom group happen to have Coach Masters Co-Owner as a close family friend, they'll be out of busniess and on the streets where they belong soon enough :D -

This company is a complete scam. Just recently, my school had our Senior Prom. The operations manager from the Party Ride called me an hour and a half before our pickup time, said the bus broke down, and that he would call other companies in our area to see if they could pick us up. All the companies were booked and the Party Ride "claimed" they had no other buses to accomodate us. My dad had to book 2 last minute limos with his friend and thankfully we got to prom and Wildwood. But this company told us they would refund the full $1700 we paid and not a cent has been returned. WORST COMPANY EVER, ABSOLUTE CON ARTISTS. RUDE, INCONSIDERANT, PENNY PINCHING. IT DISGUISTS ME. -

THE PARTY RIDE IS THE WORST....THE NEVER SHOWED UP, CLAIMED THE BUS BROKE DOWN ON THE NJ TURNPIKE AN HOUR AN A HALF BEFORE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE. ANOTHER BUS WAS NEVER SENT OUT AND IT WAS NOT UNTIL I CALLED THAT I FOUND OUT THIS INFORMATION. THEY TRIED TO SEND ME A BUS AND DRIVER THAT WAS JUST COMING OFF A JOB AT 1OPM, OUR PICK UP TIME WAS 9PM. HOWEVER THE BUS WAS AT LEAST 1 1/2 HOURS AWAYS. WE WERE TO HAVE THE BUS FOR 7HRS. WELL IT NEVER HAPPENED. THE HOUNDED ME DOWN TO CONFIRM MY RESERVATION BUT NEVER SHOWED UP, THEY SAID THEY WOULD REFUND MY DESPOSIT BUT GOT AN EMAIL SAYING IT WOULD TAKE 5-6 WEEKS FOR THE REFUND. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...THEY ARE NICE ON THE PHONE AND EMAIL, BUT THEY SCREW YOU IN THE END. I AM PRETTY FLEXIBLE BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. WE WERE TO HAVE A 25 PASSENGER BUS "PRINCESS LEETAL" WE HAD PEOPLE WAITING, FOOD, BEVERAGE NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER MONEY SPENT FOR THE EVENING AND THE SCHEDULE AND AGENDA WE HAD MAPPED. OUT. Horrible. Do yourself a favor do not use. Our wedding was great except for the bus service the party ride was "supposed" to provide. The driver was rude, had no clue where he was going, with the help of his gps no less. a/c unit wasnt working, and made embarrassed us in front of our guests. the least they could have done is refunded us on something. They agreed they would and I have yet to see a dime back from them over 2 months later. If you are reading this review and considering using them, do yourself a favor and don't. You may pay an extra 200-300 bux. -

DO NOT USE!!!! I booked a bus in March for my wedding this past weekend and they sent me the wrong bus. When I called them they were extremely rude and said there was nothing they could do about. I told them I ordered the larger bus and they said the would see what they can do during the week. After being stuck with the wrong bus I did a walk through and found the bus to be filthy. Then there was an A/C unit that was leaking all over my guest, it even dripped on my wifes wedding dress. If thats not bad enough when we got to the reception hall the front door of the bus did not open. The bus driver literally had to kick the door open for my wife and I to get out. Then when you call them they leave you on hold for hours. After finally getting in touch with someone there they asked me to send them an email to have it documented so they can investigate what happened so they can decide what to do. -

I rented one of these“limo” buses on Thursday, December 24th..
The bathroom did not work
The CD player did not work
The TV did not work
Most of the lighting did not work
The bus sent was not a limo bus. It rode like a yellow school bus.
This company is a complete rip off. The photographs are not of the buses they send out.
They are run down, filthy pieces of junk. Nothing works and you could catch a disease from the filthy dirty seating and broken bathrooms.
The interiors of these buses are a disaster. Broken sound systems, broken televisions, broken air/heat, broken lighting.
They are thieves.
I challenge anyone to find a good review about this lousy company. -
