Great Day-of Wedding Coordinator

I was on the fence about hiring a day-of wedding coordinator but I am so glad we did. Hiring Parties by Terrye was one of the best decisions we made. Terrye was flexible and accommodating throughout the whole process. She made the day of our wedding enjoyable and easy for us. I would definitely recommend Parties by Terrye!

Terrye really helped make that day flawless. She kept me from worrying about any of the details, and I left my complete trust in her. She didn't disappoint, and helped orchestrate all of the moving parts, vendors, timing, music, etc. I couldn't recommend a better day-of coordinator.

When I began planning my son's Bar Mitzvah I had an idea about how I wanted it to look and feel, but no idea how to make my vision a reality. At my first meeting with Andrew, with Parties by Terrye, I told him a couple ideas I had, and he immediately knew where to take my vision and made it even better! I wanted to represent my son's personality in a classy way that wasn't too over the top with a specific overly done theme. He said it perfectly - a classy party with a "sprinkle" of your son. And that's just what we did! He suggested beautiful centerpieces and helped create the perfect logo for the night. He took my ideas for place cards and made them happen. He was always honest if I had an idea that he thought wouldn't work aesthetically, and offered ways to make something else work, and always with my budget in mind. He also took care of lighting and coordinating a green screen for the party and worked with my MC, my photographer, and the coordinator at my venue to create the most perfect and memorable party for our family. I've already booked him for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah in 2019!

Andrew and Co. did an amazing job in making our son's Bar Mitzvah a success! We loved Everything!!! The centerpieces were such a highlight, the lighting, all the little personal touches and of course the hoodies!
What they do to help families during this monumental time in their lives is wonderful!! I would have lost my mind even more, if I had to do all that they did! We highly recommend Parties by Terrye!

Parties by Terrye were wonderful! They were very accommodating, helpful and had great ideas. You were able to do as little and as much as you needed. We certainly will be using them again for our daughters event.

We booked Terrye of Parties by Terrye for our wedding this past December and she was fantastic! Terrye was a tremendous help for our rehearsal Friday night, and then all day and night on Saturday for our wedding. I could not imagine the wedding weekend without her! She is professional, organized, and has amazing attention to detail. She made sure that our wedding vision was met!

Andrew at Parties by Terrye was great to work with. He had many creative ideas to work within our budget. In the end he magically transformed the beautiful Crystal Room at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Pikesville into a young “man’s sports dream. From the ceiling athletic balls floated over the guests and on the tables creatively designed centerpieces celebrated the “man” of the evening. The room screamed celebration and everyone from the smallest of children to the proud grandparents enjoyed the party.

Andrew and his team were amazing! When I walked into our party, the room, the centerpieces, balloons, placecards,etc... was breath taking. I was so pleased with his work. It was a pleasure to work with Andrew throughout our Bat Mitzvah planning process. He listened to everything we had to say about our visions and ideas and made them come to life. He was very quick to respond and always had a very welcoming and positive attitude. They helped make my daughters special event even more special!
We will definitely be using Parties by Terrye again in two years for our other daughters Bat Mitzvah.

This is my 2nd time using Parties by Terrye and both events were amazing. Terrye, Robert and Andrew are so easy to meet with, and they really put your needs first. They make it so that you have no worries the day of your event. Everything was PERFECT, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for decorations for a party. Our room looked amazing and working with Andrew is a breeze. Top Notch services!!

We had a great experience with Parties by Terrye! We had a triple B'nai mitzvah for our children and could not have done it without Andrew. Not only did he help us with routine things like invitations and party favors, but his suggestions & coordination of all the little details made the party so unique and special. The night of the party, Andrew was on site from way before the party started until the very end. He coordinated everything and we were able to go enjoy our event without having to worry about a thing. We were so pleased with everything and highly recommend Parties by Terrye.

Andrew was a great partner and helped make Jake's bar mitzvah everything we wanted it to be! He was incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and gave us good ideas about how to make the most out of our budget. We worked with him on the soccer centerpieces and placecards -- he helped design ones that used all of the soccer logos of Jake's favorite teams which was perfect! He also helped us out the night of the party which allowed us to be on the dance floor and enjoying ourselves the entire night because we knew that Andrew was there to handle anything else that came along. We would absolutely recommend him!

Terrye was fantastic! She was a "day of" wedding planner for us but she went way beyond what we all expected. She met with the kids and with the moms several times to discuss every detail of the wedding event. She made sure the timeline was perfect, that the vendors completed every thing they promised, worked with our wonderful Classic Caterers (Dave and Larry) and let us preview the magical room set up before the party began. She made sure we had everything we needed brought to the hotel the day before. Terrye also met the wedding party at the rehearsal dinner to help us for the big day! She left no stone unturned and we would recommend her in a heartbeat! Thank you Terrye for helping us make the PERFECT WEDDING!!!

We were absolutely thrilled with our experience working with Parties by Terrye for our son's Bar Mitzvah reception, and we will definitely be using them again! Andrew was always very responsive - given most of our interaction was done via email. Parties by Terrye was wonderful. They understood just the look we were hoping to achieve and helped us transform an idea in to a reality. I interviewed several event planners and found Parties by Terrye to be the most upfront and reasonable about expenses. The work they did was impeccable and the venue ended up looking gorgeous. In addition to decorating, Andrew at Parties by Terrye was invaluable to me in the advice he provided and his assistance in helping me find other vendors when I needed recommendations.

Everyone at Partyes by Terrye was accessible when needed and always professional. They kept me calm before and during the bar mitzvah, and because they took the lead, I was able to fully enjoy the event. This was my first time planning a mitzvah and I won't plan another one without him.

We hired Parties by Terrye (and Andrew) to be our event planner and are SO happy we did! From the beginning, he was the key to our event being so successful. He offered advice without taking over, and was focused on us having the best experience possible. From being sensitive to our budget to suggesting caterers and other resources, he was instrumental in pulling it all together. His attention to detail was fantastic, and was always super responsive and thinking ahead to things we hadn't even considered. I cannot imagine how we'd have pulled it all off without him and his pleasant and professional demeanor was so appreciated. If you want a WORRY FREE experience, look no further. You are in great hands with them!

Robert helped me plan the event. He had creative ideas and did not recommend anything out of my budget. He was easy to work with, responsive to all my phone calls and emails, and flexible with changes and ideas. The set-up was completed well ahead of time. Terrye and Robert even pitched in to help the other vendors with set up. Nothing was too much for them and everything was done with ease and a smile. I can't imagine it going any smoother and and I can't imagine working with anyone else.

Parties by Terrye is an incredible family-run business. They worked with us to plan my son’s bar mitzvah and had fabulous recommendations for centerpieces, favors, and other decorations. They had brilliant suggestions to create a fun, festive atmosphere without being extraordinarily costly, and the finished products (i.e., centerpieces etc.) were absolutely amazing. We also greatly appreciated all their “little touches”—e.g., they created tags for each party favor with each guest’s name and added cute ribbons matching the party theme. My next son’s bar mitzvah isn’t until 2018, but the one decision we’re sure of is that we want to work with them again.

Terrye was a true value! I was hestitent to spend the money but she was worth every penny! There are so many details that go into planning a wedding and she was knowlegable about all the small details. She was helpful keeping everything on track, especially the weeks leading up to the weeding when everything was most hectic. Terrye ensured our special day run smoothly and she was a true pleasure to work with.

Terrye, Robert and Andrew were all an absolute JOY to work with!!!! I worked with Terrye the most, and she was so fun to be around and work with throughout the entire process. My wedding day would not have been the same without her!! I cannot say enough good things about Parties by Terrye. They made my wedding day more than I could ever imagine. I didn't have a single stress the entire planning time, nor during the wedding day. They are trustworthy, have a good eye for design and concept, and they speak their mind. They really look out for what's best for their client! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

Terrye, Robert, and Andrew did an unbelievable job planning my wedding. Over two years later, I still get comments from friends that my wedding was the best wedding they've ever been to. They are incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and have connections all over the industry. Everything they did, from getting beautiful air force insignia table cards to the amazing candy bar made the evening simply unforgettable. Even little things I never would have thought about, like working with the venue to put on pinpoint lights to highlight the centerpieces, wowed all of our guests. They were so patient with me, and were involved in every step of planning. From helping me pick out the perfect invitations, to sending me dozens of pictures to help me narrow down what I wanted my flowers to look like, to wrangling our families and wedding party to be in the right place at the right time all day. And one of them was always available either for a 5 minute phone call for an opinion, or a 2 hour meeting picking out linens at the venue. They took care of all the communications between the venue, the photographer, the band, the florist, and even the photo booth company that I picked up on Groupon.

If you are planning a wedding, they are a must-have team!

Terrye and Andrew are fabulous! We hired them for day-of planners for our wedding, but they went above and beyond! Both are so professional and helpful with any and all details. I could not have imagined my wedding day without them.

Andrew Grosshandler of Parties by Terrye literally made my wedding day completely easy and stressfree. We hired them by the hour to oversee the execution of all the vendors the day of, band, caterer, coatcheck, delivery of the alchohol and we literally never had to lift a finger to do anything but enjoy ourselves. Andrew and Terrye clearly know exactly what they are doing, he anticipated everything and the night was literally with a bump, or if there was it was handled and we never knew about it, absolute top notch service, couldn't recommend them more.

I loved working with the staff at Parties by Terrye! They had many great suggestions for me to do any of my decorating and favor needs DIY if wanted. They will do as little or as much as you would like with absolutely no pressure at all! They couldn't be more courteous, accommodating and professional and everything I hired them to do went off not only without a hitch but they went above and beyond so that I could relax and enjoy our event!! I would not only hight recommend them but use them again for any future events.

Andrew and Rob created a magical event for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. They took our vision and transformed Ten Oaks Ballroom in Clarksville, MD into a spectacular, chic NYC themed party. They took the time to listen to our budget and our ideas and implemented both with perfection. We wouldn't hesitate to use Parties by Terrye for our next event.

I worked with Andrew and Robert at Parties by Terrye to assist me with my son's Bar Mitzvah, and I highly recommend this vendor. They performed the following services for me, designing a set logos to work with My son's color scheme, designed the centerpieces, assisted with linen and chair selection, hiring a green screen company, and designing and ordering custom favors. They are super responsive, upfront about costs and saved me a ton of time. The reception was held in my temple's sanctuary and the decorations and lighting truly transformed the sanctuary into a party room.... I am sure that they are not the least expensive people around, but they are clear with their costs and where to spend money and where to save. My recommendation, spend the money to have a professional and responsible vendor like Parties by Terrye assist you in making your vision a reality.
