My Husband and I worked with Lynnette with our engagement photoshoot in 2023, and culminating with the coverage of my wedding later that same year.

Lynnette is a WONDERFUL photographer. She has a special skill of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The photos came out amazing, even better than I could've imagined! She is so so patient both while photographing and while walking us through how to order photos after the fact. During the day, she had a set schedule so that all photos we wanted could get taken, and was super flexible within that. She is also creative and has an amazing eye. I couldn't believe some of the shots she got! Definitely recommend booking with her if you want more than just the basic photos! ❤ -

Lynnette was such an amazing and wonderful blessing to found!! Especially since we found her only a few months fromour wedding. After having a different experience with another photographer (just not our style) from the moment we saw Lynnette's website we knew her photography would be perfect for us. But we did not know how much MORE she would bring and how lucky we were! It was not just her style of photography, but how amazing she was through the entire process! She was professional, right to the point, no hidden fees everything was layout on our contract, and having her was like photographing with family! Not only did she deliver, but we had so much fun shooting with her every time we did! You could really tell she cares, and it shows in our pictures. She was also willing to take risks to take fabulous and unique pictures with us. We could not be thankful enough for all the work that she put in - my only regret is not to have hired her for our rehearsal! After seeing all the pictures, it would've been well worth it because her talent is something else! We also had an assistant photographer with her, and she was just as fun and creative! - The process after receiving the pictures was also so smooth and beautiful to go through, so exciting! Our forever pictures could not have been more beautiful. We HIGHLY recommend Lynnette and Parentheses Photography!
TLDR - Amazing pictures, an amazing photographer, will hire her for any future life events we may have! -

You only have one opportunity to capture the most important day of your life and there is nobody you could trust more with that moment than with Lynnette. There are not enough words for me to express how vital Lynnette was to our engagement and our wedding day. During both photo sessions, she made my very nervous husband and I feel so incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. She has this talent of making her clients feel relaxed and like you’ve known her your entire life. Her vision and creativity is unmatched and every pose and placement she put us in all made sense when the final products came out looking straight out of a storybook. Her level of professionalism is outstanding and there was never a moment that I didn’t have full trust in her creative process. She had a great system for communication and always responded with detailed explanations for any of my questions and concerns. For every photo session she has done for us: engagement, wedding and bridal, we have been completely blown away by how beautiful and vibrant our photos turned out. The photos Lynnette has taken of our lives will be kept forever and passed down for generations in our family and I am certain that she is the only person I’d ever want to have that responsibility again. Thank you Lynnette for the smoothest and most wonderful photography experience. The memories you have beautifully captured are priceless to us. Lynnette is wonderful to work with and we appreciate her so much for capturing our wedding so beautifully! When reviewing all of our vendors, Lynnette really stands out as someone who showed great attention to detail with a lot of care. The photos are amazing and we were extremely happy with the moments she captured (especially our little pups who got to be part of the ceremony!)

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Lynette @ Parentheses Photography.
Let me start by saying that her level of professionalism is unmatched. We we’re pretty lucky to have mostly amazing vendors for our Wedding but Lynette truly is an example on how EVERY wedding professional should operate. From communication, to setting very clear & realistic expectations about the process and experience, down to the incredibly organized and seamless process from start to finish.
Now let’s talk about her talent, because let’s be honest, if you’re reading this, that’s what you came here for. Coming from the events and entertainment industry myself I was impressed by her “eye”, her POV and perspective. She captured the soul, sweat, tears and love in every single pictured she delivered. I put so much work into so many details of the wedding and with very little direction she captured it all. She truly encapsulated every moment through her images. The captured the silly, romantic, the sexy, the emotions, everything that I see in my relationship. Getting our couple pictures take with her was a whole experience for my husband and I. We felt like supermodels working with the most excited and passionate director and the results were MAGICAL. Her editing was impecable. I’ve never felt so beautiful. I would also like to mention that having her there felt like having one of my bridesmaids there, not a random person. Her presence is calming and supportive, yet her sunny disposition made me feel like she was just one of my besties taking our pics while we were getting ready.
Lastly I would like to mention that the software she uses to showcase your gallery is just another reflection of her professionalism. It’s so easy go use and makes it super fun to look through and select your pics.
The whole experience with her was 20 ⭐️ out of 10. You’d think I was her bestie from this review but I found her on the Knot and we didn’t even meet in person before the morning of the Wedding. Enough chat though, a picture is worth 1000 words and the proof is in the proverbial pudding. The images of my wedding truly say it all. -

Lynnette was an amazing photographer. Not only was she a pleasure to have around, the photos were absolutely outstanding! Her professionalism and fantastic action-shot style was exactly what we needed for our family. Our experience was documented exactly how we would like to remember it: incredible. We could not be happier with the end result and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer. Quality Photos
I do not have the same eye for photography that my wife has, but I can appreciate the emotion captured in Lynnette's photography compared to the umbrella company we hired for our wedding. We hired Lynnette for our engagment photos, but regrettably went with a larger company to save money. After 2.5 years, we see that the larger company documented our wedding, but Lynnette was able to capture emotion in a way that is both beautiful and timeless.
Looking back, I am able to see the scheme/design of umbrella companies where the sales person you speak to prior to signing documents is obviously very experienced and talented. However the individual photographer for the big day is someone else and leaves an opportunity for variability in artistic abilities. With Lynnette, what you see is what you get.
This leads into my review of Lynnette. Lynnette is very personable, sweet and has an exceptional eye. Lynnette is also very efficient at moving from one location to the next and giving detailed direction which was a godsend for photo-awkward people like my wife and I.
All-in-all, if you are the type of people who want timeless, quality photos that are artistic and capture emotion, Lynnette is well worth it. The umbrella company will offer anything and everything you are looking for, but you won't get the same attention to detail that Lynnette can offer. -

When I began looking for a Photographer for my wedding day, I knew it was going to be a HUGE responsibility for any photographer to live-up to. Unfortunately, even with these crazy high expectations I got razzle/dazzled at the Dallas Bridal show by a Salesman who worked for a Photography “umbrella company”…The salesmen was excellent and I felt the pressure to seize the “limited-time” “amazing deal” that was being presented to me. So, I committed to this company for my Wedding photos. (At the time, I hadn’t decided if I was doing any engagement photos, so the deal was just for my Wedding.)
This is finally where Lynnette comes into the picture. By the time I decided I was going to go ahead with an engagement shoot, the company I had for my wedding was unavailable. So, I did a simple search on “The Knot” and found Lynnette. Instantly I was in love her style and thankfully she was available! The shoot was wonderful. This woman KNOWS her stuff and makes even the most awkward turtles feel at ease. To this day, my husband and I try to reference and use the tips she gave us when taking our pictures.
I will never forget the feeling I had when I first received my Engagement photos from Lynnette. I was blown away, practically brought to tears. To me, they were perfect. She generously offered to shoot our wedding as well, but I felt already contractually bound to the company I met from the Bridal show—plus, they were offering me a “cheaper” deal.
Shortly before my wedding, the company I booked “assigned” us our photographers for the night. When I looked over their previous work, I almost had a meltdown. I was not impressed. They captured the day, sure. But there wasn’t any style or artistic approach. The reality is I am paying thousands for a professional, not someone who knows how to hold and click a fancy camera. I just kept thinking; these look nothing like Lynnette’s. I even sent the company Lynnette’s photos asking if they could somehow make my photos look like this! They assured me they could. Of course, it occurred to me that I could back out, but in my mind, it was too damn late and again they assured me they could achieve my vision.
In the end, I cried when I received my wedding photos. But they were not happy tears at all. I hated them. From thousands of photos, I only “loved” maybe 10. TEN! Again, I recognize my standards are INSANE! But guess what—I had those same standards when I first saw Lynnette’s photos from my engagement shoot, and I was blown away. It is possible to meet these “insane” standards—and Lynnette did.
I am writing this review to possibly save another bride for making the same mistake I did.
Lesson 1 learned from this experience: go with your gut---do not let yourself be razzle-dazzled by a salesman who represents a photography company. If you are a bride that just wants someone to capture the events of the day and take thousands of photos, but you don’t give a crap about an artistic approach or style then you can pretty much ignore my review.
BUT if you are a bride who wants QUALITY photos and a wonderful experience having your photograph taken with a woman who knows her shit, gives excellent direction, AND has a beautiful style, talent, flair--- CHOOSE Lynnette.
Lesson 2 learned: If it’s cheaper…there is a reason. Lynnette is worth every penny. The umbrella company offered a “cheaper” deal and in the end, it was obvious why. Listen—you get ONE shot at these photos, so please don’t let yourself be swayed by promotional deals—instead be swayed by how you feel when you look at that photographer’s work.
It has been 2 and 1/2 years since my wedding, and guess which photos are still plastered around my home and even on my phone Screensaver? It’s not my wedding photos. It’s my engagement photos done by Lynnette. (Yes, I am serious)
Maybe this review won’t help anyone (because who is this nuts, right?) but, if for some reason it resonates with you, I hope you feel secure and confident in choosing Lynnette for your special day. You will not regret it. ❤ -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Lynnette. We booked our destination wedding remotely, and hired vendors strictly from their reviews. She absolutely deserves every kind word and five star review! Her work speaks for itself, but she truly goes above and beyond and is a genuine pleasure to work with. She was always prompt to communicate, kind, and exactly the kind of energy you want calling the shots on your wedding day. We feel really lucky to have her capture our wedding day! -

When we decided to choose our wedding photographer, we knew we didn't want any run of the mill photographer. Everyone in our lives right now seems to be getting married, and we have seen the same photo ideas used over and over again. Don't get us wrong, they are beautiful and special, but we wanted our to be more creative and unique! We couldn't have been happier with our engagement photos and have received endless compliments from them. We have gotten a small glimpse of our wedding photos, and we are SO excited to see the rest. They are just what we were looking for :) Lynette was super easy and fun to work with. She was good at coming up with ideas for the photos and gave us instruction on how to pose (which we definitely needed). She has been quick to respond to all our emails and phone calls. If we had to do it all over again, no doubt would we choose Lynette! -

At my bridal portrait shoot, she made me so comfortable when taking pictures and would show me exactly what she wanted me to do. The pictures turned out amazing!! For our wedding, she was professional and kind with our guests and with us! Her style of shooting is bad ass, just like her! She made shooting on the day of the wedding easy and pain free! I can't wait to see our photos, I know they are going to be awesome! -

It started as just finding the perfect photographer and ended with a truly loved and valued friend. Oh, and the pictures? THE BEST! I was one of "those" women who gets really worried about how I look in pictures I will be displaying forever and which "angles" she was shooting from. She reassured me over and over and I can say that Lynnette's eye and vision is amazing! She went way above and beyond from booking to delivery of my pictures. I LOVED everything about my final images SO SO much. Beautiful details. Authentic moments. I cant say enough great things honestly. I 100% recommend Parentheses Photography by Lynnette. 100%! -

photos were great but we waited 6+ months to see the proofs. Our order for prints and the album wasn't received until 10 months. we were offered a 5% discount for leaving a positive review after we started expressing frustration. responsiveness is so-so.
