Best PR officiant in the business!!
My (now) husband and I decided rather spontaneously to elope after circumstances forced us to postpone planning for a larger production wedding indefinitely. We are from California, but chose Puerto Rico for our destination wedding and sought Kendra for her officiant services less than two months before our proposed wedding date. From the very beginning, Kendra was such a knowledgeable, caring, and responsive person (she replied the same day I reached out!) who made this murky process extremely clear and easy. The PR government has its own rules and regulations for recognizing marriages, including providing results for recent bloodwork and other legal documents, and the items must be submitted to the PR government office within specific timelines to meet the requirements. Failure to do so could result in not being able to be legally married and the thought of traveling so far and have that happen was nerve wracking.
Kendra guided us through the entire process, educating us on the individual pieces, giving us our “homework” with due dates, and checking in with us frequently to ensure we were on track. She also did the hard part of submitting everything to the government for us. Additionally, Kendra recommended us a photographer/florist duo and provided several locations for us to choose from for the actual ceremony with some backups in case weather became unpredictable.
By the time we got on the plane to head to PR, we had already received our license from the government stating that we were compliant and able to proceed with marriage which was a huge relief! The week before the ceremony, we were communicating on a nearly daily basis to just make sure things were going as planned and Kendra checked in with us the day after landing to see if there were any last minute items we needed or if we had forgotten anything back home.
When we arrived on the beach for our ceremony, Kendra was already at her pulpit, the archway was set up, the aisle and flowers were all ready to go – our team was just waiting for us! Kendra is such a personable individual and we had spent quality time getting to know her during the planning phase that it felt like we were meeting up with an old friend instead of a stranger. We arrived a bit late, but Kendra never rushed us and even had wine for us after the ceremony. She and her husband even stayed for our after-ceremony photo shoot with the photographer and his wife to cheer us on and afterwards, we all spent a bit of time chatting and left really only because the sun was completely down.
I would highly recommend Kendra for her professionalism, knowledge of the PR legal system, personability, and genuine love for her work. Our sudden elopement was an incredible success all thanks to Kendra!! -

If you need an officiant as beautiful inside and out as the island of Puerto Rico, look no further. Kendra is exactly the kind of presence you want on your wedding day warm, calming, and full of joy. She takes away the stress and reminds you to be tranquila.
My grandparents mean the world to me, and it broke my heart that they wouldn’t be able to attend my wedding. My husband said, “What if we eloped in Puerto Rico?” and I spent the entire night searching How do I get married in PR?
Overwhelmed by the legal process and conflicting information, I asked Facebook for advice and received plenty of comments discouraging me from doing it at all. But that’s where I found Kendra.
From the start, she reassured me and made me feel confident in the process. She took the daunting legal work off our shoulders, gave incredible advice on location and timing, and created a ceremony script that had both of us choking back tears. Every bump along the way was met with her calm smile and steady guidance.
She helped turn a simple “what if…” into my dream-come-true ceremony.
From walking down the aisle to Debí Tirar Más Fotos (Quartet Version), to our chocolate ceremony, to the perfect sunset on Isla Verde. It was magical.
And beyond what this day meant to me, it meant even more to my grandparents. They felt so happy and honored to be part of such a special moment. You made them laugh, tear up, and leave with memories they’ll cherish forever. I can’t thank you enough for giving that to them and to us.
Kendra, thank you for making what felt impossible feel effortless, and for turning our dream into reality. We will always be grateful for you.

Extraordinary
When you think about wedding or renewal vows, you start out wanting something perfect that matches your vision.
Where to start, do you know someone, a referral? What happens when the location is more that a thousand miles away on an island?
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have been connected to Kendra of Paradise Vows, in Puerto Rico.
What a blessing. Kendra is lovely, knowledgeable, and caring. Throughout every step of the process from introduction, to asking how we pronounce our names, to meeting online and then on the beach. Kendra was very capable and everything was well done. No question or concern was too much. Kendra guided us through the process. She was very professional and kind.
The ceremony was just as we envisioned. The setting, time of day at sunset, just perfect for our needs.
We cannot recommend anyone higher and encourage you to simple reach out and talk with Kendra and see for yourself what a wonderful, thoughtful, compassionate person she is and how she can help with your special occasion.
In one word, Extraordinary.
In addition, Kendra’s husband, Alex, assisted her with our ceremony. Using a tripod and freehand to film and capture all of our wonderful moments. Alex, with his technical expertise, was easily able to transfer these moments to our phone. Alex was kind, patient and very caring as well.

Very amazing!
Kendra was absolutely amazing as my officiant in Puerto Rico. She was incredibly flexible, very sweet, and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Even with a same-day ceremony, she was able to set everything up smoothly and worked with us every step of the way until the very end. Kendra truly cares about the couples she works with and makes sure your wedding day is as beautiful and special as you could ever imagine. The perfect elopement 💕
Kendra was absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I are not from PR but decided to elope on a beach. From the beginning, Kendra was kind, responsive, and extremely helpful putting together our ceremony in less than one month. She was able to assist us with picking a perfect location even recommended an amazing photographer as well.
