One of a kind invitations!

We used Paper Works and Events for our wedding invitations and they were absolutely beautiful. Andrea and Alison helped us create truly a one of a kind wedding invitation. They listened to what we liked, showed us different designs, and together we were able to create something truly unique. The proofs came in quickly, and through those proofs we were able to change and tweak it to make it exactly the way we wanted. I never felt bad telling Alison the minor changes we wanted done, because she was kind, and sweet. She would quickly make them and send a new proof allowing us to see what it may look like. Also, we received proofs on everything, our seal, accommodation card, response card, envelopes and every addressed envelope. Having each proof made it visually friendly for us and allowed us to pick the invitation suite we liked best. Due to the fact we had time, Alison even sent me paper samples and color swatches for the band. I was able to be a part of every part of the process and it felt like a true partnership. Lastly, we did not include assembly in our package. However, Alison felt that it was going to be hard to assemble one part of our invitation and did that one part for us with no additional charge. We were blown away by her generosity. When our guests received our invitations we received so many compliments. If you want to have something unique, one of a kind, and work alongside wonderful people, you must use Paper Works and Events.

Forever grateful for Andrea and Alison!

I could go on and on about Andrea and Alison from Paper Works. They were patient, always made themselves available, they were professional but kind and never made me feel bad for asking questions or adjusting the price. They stayed within the price point we wanted which really put us at ease when wedding planning! And on top of all of that they created invitations for us that people are STILL talking about! People were blown away when they received them, it totally set the tone for our wedding and everyone couldn’t wait for the actual day because of the invitations Andrea and Alison created. I will forever use them in the future for events. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Andrea and Alison for all your hard work. You ladies are SO talented and it shows in what you create!

Working with Andrea and Alison was an unparalleled experience. They were uber-friendly, professional, competent, artistic, and, an overall pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone who's throwing any type of party, but we used them specifically to create my daughter's wedding invites, and they came out colorful, artful, and just plain super gorgeous!

Before going here, I read the reviews, I was a bit put off by a comment by a former customer who stated that "they laughed at his budget etc", but I was impressed by the samples on the site and with my first call to them. I got an appointment within 2 days of my call. WOW!! What an experience. Andrea, Allison and other members of her creative team were so warm, friendly and professional. Their artistry and industry knowledge was immense and appreciated. She spent as much time as I needed to spend in the creative sessions, she figured out my style and preferences in the 1st session. I did not even realize that I was choosing styles that they had designed for Hollywood celebrities, but they MADE IT MINE. they created my invitation suites with similar pizazz and within my budget. They stuck to their time frame, were knowledgeable regarding "invitation etiquette and protocol". Overall, I had a positive and wonderful experience. They made a potientially stressful process an enjoyable experience. I will definitely use them again and again. I would also recommend them to every and anyone. THEY HAVE SOMETHING FOR ALL STYLES AND ALL BUDGETS.

Paper Works and Events made all my invitation dreams come true! Andrea worked closely with me to pick the perfect invitation for our elegant wedding. The invitation we chose was perfect! I wanted something different, that not your average bride had. Andrea delivered with an amazing monogram laser cut sleeve, with an invitation insert written with gold foil with matching envelopes. These invitations were so beautiful. Once the invitations were sent out, we received multiple messages stating how different and beautiful our invitations were. Not only did Andrea and her team create the perfect invitation, they also created our escort cards, which were to die for! Paper Works and Events were easy to work with and made the stressful invitation process easy and stress-free. Thank you for creating the perfect invitation for our fairy tale wedding!

My husband and I were so pleased with all our stationary needs for our wedding, all thanks to Andrea and Alison at Paper Works and Events. We had ordered our invitation suites, escort cards, menus, and signs for the bars and other items around the venue. My husband and I wanted laser cut option and after seeing reviews on wedding wire and their work on their website, we knew they were the perfect vendor for our wedding stationary. Andrea and Alison are both extremely creative and came up with such amazing original ideas and work. I cried when my invitations came in because they were so perfect and beautiful! Andrea offered suggestions on how to stay within our budget too, which most vendors won't do since they just want your money but Andrea went above and beyond to exceed our expectations and not our budget! She even worked with our florist for favor ideas and offered so many great suggestions on favors and wedding related planning. What I also really loved about them was that their hours were flexible and we were able to meet after work, which other invitation businesses could not provide. My husband and I were so grateful for all their work and time. I would chose them again for any of my stationary and event planning needs in the future. Thank you so much again, Alison and Andrea!

This vendor was extremely helpful in providing exactly what we were looking for, within our limited budget. They can create anything you need them to. They created my invitations, escort cards, and menus for my reception. Paper Works & Events is incredible! They were recommended to us by our flower/décor vendor, and as soon as we met with Andrea, we did not bother looking anywhere else. Invitations were extremely important to us since they really set the stage for your whole wedding. We wanted something unique, romantic and classic- and that is precisely what we got. Andrea is a wonderful resource and really knows her stuff- she walked us through the whole process, presented us with many options, and was extremely helpful! During the design phase, I worked with Alison who was an absolute dream. I am definitely a perfectionist, and her attention to detail was unmatched. I am not exaggerating when I say that our invitations blew our guests away! They were the most perfect invitations I could have ever imagined. The phone calls/emails/texts came pouring in as soon as we sent them out- we received so many compliments; our friends and family have never seen such beautiful work. In addition to our invitations, we also used them for our escort cards, menu cards, and table numbers- all which were just as beautiful as our invites, and helped make for a beautiful, cohesive event. We are so thankful and appreciative for everything they did for us to make our wedding perfect. My sister and her fiancé booked them for their June 2017 wedding- so that should speak for itself! We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish! If you want the best- book them!

It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone at Paper Works and Events. My husband and I chose our wedding invites on day one of entering their studio. Andrea provided us with a ton of options right away and helped narrow down our choices based on our personal interests, price, and style. I thought choosing invites would be one of the more difficult choices throughout our wedding planning process but it ended up being the easiest! Everything was customized exactly to our liking at every step (even the envelopes!). Alison and Daniella were extremely helpful with the font designs, monogram design, and envelope addressing. All my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. All proofs and final products were provided in a timely manner way in advance and there were always extras available for those last minute (unavoidable) changes. I found the entire process to be completely stress free and I still receive compliments about how unique and classy my invites were. I also had escort cards printed to match my colors and fonts from the invites. I highly recommend working with Paper Works and Events!

Having worked in the industry of high-end weddings for about 8 years, when it came time to plan my own wedding, I had pretty high expectations and wanted something unique and top-quality while still remaining within my budget for my wedding invitation. I found just that with Paper Works & Events who I would highly recommend to any couple looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding invitation that is custom to their personality and style. Andrea, Alison and the Paper Works team went above and beyond when it came to designing my invitation suite and sat patiently with me for many hours to custom create the most amazing wedding invitation from start to finish. After our initial meeting and deciding on the design and medium, we did most of our communicating via email, going back and forth with samples and changes, etc which was super convenient for me! I also created a very detailed sketch of my own monogram which I wanted to appear throughout my wedding and what better way to start setting the tone than with printing it on our invite?! After putting in over SEVENTY hours to transfer the monogram from paper to digital file, the Paper Works graphic design team perfected my monogram in which it printed beautifully in gold foil on the back of my invite. Paper works also created beautiful menu cards which I decided on last minute and they were able to quickly turn them around in time. Overall they were great to work with and very talented and professional, I made tons of changes (because I am so indecisive) and they were very accommodating through the entire design process. If you're looking for an invitation that is unique as it is beautiful, and to wow your guests, I would highly recommend Paper Works & Events...their invitations are beautifully designed with impeccable attention to detail and top quality. I know have not just an invitation to look back at, but a piece of art that these ladies helped me create. Thank you ladies! :)

My mother and I reviewed so many vendors however, after meeting with Andrea and her staff who are knowledgeable, responsive, sets clear expectations and delivers outstanding results which was worth every penny. Our invitations were simply breathtaking which set the tone for our wedding. Andrea, Allison and Danielle were so accommodating, their suggestions just made everything perfect. Amazing!! I didn't think anyone could create a custom wedding invitation that was true to my vision, but Andrea and her team blew me away. We had a Harry Potter themed wedding so they custom created a Marauders Map invite that was so spectacular. It was better than spectacular, it was us! Thank you so much for the most gorgeous representation of our special day! I have the invitation framed and hanging in our bedroom :)

This review is LONG overdue. When we first got engaged my husband and I were extremely indecisive about which vendor to choose for our invitations. We previously visited another vendor and it was AWFUL. After doing some serious research I came across Paper Works and Events. Upon entering their office I noticed how clean and organized everything was….such a breath of fresh air. I knew right away we were in the right place. After meeting with Andrea, Alison and Kerry the deal was sealed. Andrea was willing to work within our budget to make things work and I instantly fell in love. Our family & friends are still raving about how beautiful & elegant our invitations were. OH and how can I forget…the invitations smelled awesome!!! Yes they smelled awesome-it was some sort of powdery smell but was a great touch. We also ordered our church program and escort cards from these ladies as well. We highly recommend Paper Works and Events to those who are looking for high quality invitations with a wonderful staff!!! Thanks again ladies…you are the BOMB.COM!

My guests still talk about my invitations and were the PERFECT "preview" to my big day! Alison was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and everything was made very simple for me. It was like I had an assistant to take care of one of the many "wedding to do's" for me. By far, my favorite vendor. The ladies at Paperworks and Events were great to work with. We first met with Andrea, and after I had gone through numerous books unable to find exactly what I wanted, she suggested a custom design for a small fee. While I ended up spending more than I initially planned, I'm glad I did because the invitations came out great and I got a ton of compliments. The ladies were super responsive to email and sent me proofs with various design options and fonts to choose from. I was glad to have such high quality, unique invitations and will definitely be displaying one in my new invitation frame.

I highly recommend Paper Works and Events for anyone planning a wedding or any other social function! Andrea, Alison, and Kerry are not only professional and creative, but they are also extremely knowledgeable and helpful with every little detail of putting together any type of stationary. I received timely feedback, both through email and phone calls, and received all my save the dates, bridal invitations, bridal shower invitations, church programs, reception menus, escort cards, seating cards, etc. respectively in a timely manner and in the designs we had painstakingly gone through multiple times. They have an enormous variety of selections, but also can make custom designs which fit your every need. They can also work with your budget, although, don’t expect satin invitations on a frugal budget! Working with PW&E made planning my wedding so much more enjoyable because I knew I could rely on the staff as well as speak freely—some certain vendors we had to walk on eggshells, but the opposite was true here! Save yourself time and energy when event planning and head straight to Paper Works and Events!

These girls are fantastic! Alison is one of the most creative people I have met! My invitations are something I still get complimented on today. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was visiting Alison at Paper Works and Events!
Though my fiance and I had an idea about the overall emotion we wanted the save-the-dates and invitations to convey, we really didn't have many specifics in mind. But, Alison listened to us and within a few minutes, figured out what we wanted before we really did. She pulled samples and fonts that she thought we would like -- and we did -- and she used those elements to design customized pieces for us to choose from. It was only a couple of days after we visited her that we received emails with four different custom designs to choose from. And when we wanted to mix and match aspects from one design with another, she was totally cool with that, made a new design, emailed that over a day later, and voila - we made our choice. Quick, efficient and fun.
Also amazing - Alison is more concerned about the price of your product than you are! She doesn't want her brides to go broke and she works really hard to find cost-cutting alternatives in whatever design you choose. We managed to slash hundreds and hundreds of dollars off of the design we wanted -- without compromising our vision -- by making little tweaks here and there. The end result was a super fancy-looking product for a very reasonable price.
Andrea and Kerry were also great to work with - as they helped us with the envelope-printing process when Alison was on vacation. They were always very accessible on the phone and email, made sure everything was just right in terms of fonts and the actual data, and even stayed late one night when we were stuck in traffic en route to picking up our goods.

Paper works and events is a MUST for any future bride. They are professional and brilliant. My invitations, programs, menu cards and place cards were all AMAZING. I continue to receive compliments on how elegant and romantic they all looked, from the color of the cards to the type of paper used and especially the laser cut that Paper works and events suggested. They made me feel very comfortable from the moment we met. Whenever I emailed them or had to approve something, they responded immediately. They made me feel like my wedding was the only wedding they were working on, though I know that is definitely not the case. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs anything for an event, and I will definitely be using them in the future!

Let me just start by saying that Alison, who designed our wedding invitations, as well as our menus, programs and place cards, is literally an artistic genius! I started the wedding planning process thinking that we would just pick the simplest possible invitations and be done with it. However, once we spoke to Alison, and we heard all of her amazing ideas, we were sold. She created the most elegant invitations I have ever seen. It was like she went inside my head and created what I did not even know I wanted. There were dozens of guests who commented on how beautiful they were. I also saved myself a lot of headache by having Alison design and print our wedding programs. For a very reasonable price (I essentially told her all I could pay for them, and she found materials that would work in that budget), she created what ultimately matched my invitations in design and color scheme (she even used some of the same design elements she created especially for me), and delivered a gorgeous finished product that I did not have to then sit and start folding, tying ribbons to, etc. I just literally cannot say enough about Alison's work. She truly is exceptional at her job. She and Andrea worked really hard to make my husband and I happy.

Andrea, Alison and the entire paper works team did an amazing job designing and fabricating all of the paper goods for our wedding. They were easy to work with, quick to respond to any emails or phone calls, and delivered on time!

Guests were blown away when they saw our custom "save the dates", invites, and other items. Paperworks really helped us hone in on a theme for the wedding and gave the event a polished feel that would not have otherwise been possible.

When we visited other "custom" invitation shops most were trying to sell the same invite client to client, with the names changed. When we visited paperworks, they were game for anything. I honestly think if we asked them to print the invite on sheetrock they would have done it. They are really that accommodating and creative!

Working with them was a pleasure. The way they present their proofs is miles above most other professional graphics houses. I wish they did more than invites!

I loved working with Paper Works and Events. Alison was incredibly sweet and always very responsive. After a not so great experience with another vendor that did our invitations we decided to go with another company for the rest of our wedding stationary. Paper Works did an incredible job giving our stationary a cohesive look to the invites we previously had done. We were very happy with our programs, menus, and table numbers. So happy we recently had them do our personal monogrammed stationary. Alison was very knowledgeable and always honest, even suggesting less expensive options where it didn't make sense to spend more money. I loved that! After ordering Save the Dates through a magnet company and being thoroughly disappointed, I found Paper Works and Events. They are amazing! Alison, Andrea, and Ana are all incredibly talented and were such a pleasure to work with. I ended up with the most amazing Save the Dates, invitations, and rehearsal dinner invites too! They listened to what we wanted and helped us create the most perfect invites for our wedding. In the future, I will use their expertise for invitations and stationery. I used paper works & events for EVERYTHING for my wedding... and I was thrilled with all of it! My fiance and I had a very specific idea for both our save-the-date and rehearsal dinner cards, and they were able to create exactly what we wanted. They worked with us to help create one of a kind invitations and were very patient and responsive to our feedback. For my bridal shower they created an adorable charicature sign in board and personalized recipe cards. The ladies at paper works and events also helped us design elegant wedding invitations which really set the tone for our wedding. They were a pleasure to work with and I'd use them again in a heart beat!

Alison and Andrea were great to work with. I had a vision in my head of how I wanted my invitations to look and they did not settle until i was 100% happy with my final product. It took weeks and weeks of back and forth emails and edits . I was such a perfectionist...asking something as crazy as changing a line and they never once gave me a hard time. and anything I asked for they did immediately. I was originally going to print and do my own inviations....DO NOT DO THIS!!! you will regret it, the quality will never be what a printer and stationer can do. u have enough things to worry about than your printer working. Very easy to work with everyone at paper works and events are super helpful. Andrea even came in on closed days to accommodate my schedule. Allison is very creative knew exactly what I was looking for within five minutes of our first phone conversation. I live in NYC and trust me they are worth the trip to NJ. Paper Works & Events are awesome! They are really helpful, professional and friendly. They were accommodating on meeting my husband and I on weekends and late at night. They have an eye for perfection and are not happy til your invites come out perfect. They sent mine back to the printer once and made them reprint because they were not satisfied with the quality. They were timely and prompt and would recommend them for anyone. We also ordered custom canvas bags from them that turned out fantastic! They were a huge help. When my wife and I began to research stationery suppliers for our wedding we had a vision. We wanted something modern, something elegant, and something in gold and brown that went with our autumn wedding. We searched online for a while and even visited a couple of potential vendors, but nothing seemed to fit our style or our budget.

We then decided to check out the vendors that David Tutera used on “My Fair Wedding”. We went to his website and came across “Paperworks & Events” who had provided the stationery for the Alice & Wonderland themed wedding. Impressed with what we saw and their willingness to be unique, we made an appointment with Alison, from “Paperworks & Events”.

From our very first meeting Alison made it clear that she was there to help us find what we wanted and was determined to make it fit our budget. We browsed through tons of invitations and font styles, but through it all Alison remained patient and offered good advice about the all the things we could do with the money we had.

After a few visits we decided to give the invites a slightly whimsical feel. I wrote up the words with a spin on a mid-summer’s night dream in autumn and Alison helped us match that in the look and feel of the invite.

Our names were in this awesome gold calligraphy while the rest of the invite was modern art deco. We had 3 layers of card stock with the face of the invite in cream, followed by a thin gold card stock as a border and then a dark brown card stock as the outer border. It was very classy, very fitting, right at our budget and we received numerous compliments.

From the first visit to the finished product, Alison made us feel like valued clients and worked to make us happy. In end we were thoroughly impressed and will gladly recommend “Paperworks & Events” to anyone we know getting married.

What can I say, Alison is great! I fell in love with Arabella papers and there are not many vendors, but this is one. Alison was so helpful in helping up design and coordinate of inviations. She was in constant contact with us and the vendor and always went out of her way to get the job done. Andrea and Alison designed a beautiful invitation suite for our wedding. They worked within our budget, and if we made a request that would go beyond our budget Andrea would make sure to warn me so I always knew where we stood (which is great)! They always made the time to stay late and meet in person with us (we work in NYC so we could never get there before 6pm). Andrea and Alison spent hours talking with us directly to design our perfect invitation and find all the perfect fonts (yes I made Alison find about 300 different calligraphy fonts before I picked one I liked! And she never complained once)! Alison created the graphic design for our suite all on her own, after we showed them a few invitation ideas we liked. They didn't stop until we absolutely loved it. All other stationary stores we went to, just sat us at a table, showed us where the binders were and had us look through by ourselves. Paperworks and Events was a great find, and I really loved all the personal attention we got.

My husband and I purchased our custom-designed pocket-fold wedding invitations from Paper Works and More. Andrea and Alison were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were so helpful and friendly, and they were VERY responsive. They answered all of my emailed questions very quickly. There was a lot of back and forth when it came to font styles, colors, etc., and they never lost their patience with me.

Most important, the invitations were absolutely gorgeous. Not a single guest did not marvel over how unique and beautiful they were. Guests said they had never received an invitation like it. They were a bit pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for. And the invitations we ended up with were worth every penny. I absolutely recommend Paper Works & More!

The only reason I took off stars was because after initially selecting an invitation, I brought in my husband to officially select and order the invitation less than 2 weeks later. Unfortunately, since it was the end of the year, the invitation was no longer available. I wish I had known that the turn-around time for invitations was so quick! I had to start the whole process over. It ended up working out and I found an invitation I liked (although a second order had to be placed because the ink didn't match - it was obviously free of charge), but make sure if you like something, to ask if it will still be available the next time you come in.

GREAT price for the value! I met with several invitation vendors and thought I'd never find a fancy enough invite within my budget. Then, I went to Paper Works and Events. I'm happy I did! Their turn around time is very quick, and staff was very friendly.
