Beautiful, elegant invitations and amazing to work with!

Kristen at Paper Fling was absolutely amazing to work with! Not only were our reception signs and wedding invites beautiful, modern, and elegant, Kristen was so fun to work with and very responsive to all of our questions and proofs. Ruth not only did our invitations, but she also did our table numbers, place cards, and escort board. Everything was perfect. I heard from many of my guests that the invitations were one of the most elegant invitation they had ever received. Since Ruth also did the signs at the reception, everything from the color to the theme to the designs matched perfectly. On top of that, she was very easy to work with and super responsive by email and phone. Her timelines were spot on, which is important for a stressed out bride.

Ruth was instrumental in helping to create a fun and personal mood for our aviation themed wedding on April 17, 2016. She created our invitations, as well as our day of stationary. From our save the dates, to our airplane ticket themed invitations, to our aviation themed programs, Ruth worked with us and did a wonderful job of creating beautiful and fun stationary that went well beyond our expectations! Our wedding invitations and printed materials at the wedding were elegant and consistent. A detail that most take for granted. I'm only somewhat aware because I had to deal with the invitations and wedding rehearsal spreadsheets. The color, paper, ribbon, and materials were chosen by my wife, and she was happy. Everyone that received the invitation remarked on how elegant they were. Which is all you could ask for.

Our wedding coordinator recommended Ruth for our invitations and day-of paper needs (table numbers, menus), and we couldn't have been more pleased. Her designs spanned such an incredible range of styles, and yet, she helped us hone in on exactly what we needed and wanted immediately. Numerous colors and designs made everything highly customizable and enabled us to select a perfect match for our wedding decor, not to mention the finished products were of incredibly high quality at a relatively quick turnaround. We included special Arabic characters in our invitation, and Ruth was very patient and helpful working with us to ensure the font appeared just as it should. Should we have fine paper needs in the future, she will definitely be our first choice-- we have already recommended her to friends who have also used her and been very pleased with the results!

I initially thought that I could order invitations from a website, thinking that it was just a piece of paper that would eventually be thrown away by guests so I didn't have to put much of my budget towards invites. A friend of mine got married last year and told me that I HAD to meet with Ruth; to oblige her I made an appointment. The consultation was free so I figured I had nothing to lose, at the very least I would come up with some new ideas of what I was looking for.

Paper Fling is so welcoming and Ruth is wonderful. She is friendly, down to earth and I felt absolutely no pressure what so ever. She offers the full spectrum of options, from the simple and classic to modern and trendy and everything in between. She asked me about my wedding and what I was looking for. We were soon flipping through her sample books and before I knew it I had fallen in love with my perfect invitation. It was everything thing that I didn't know I was looking for.

About a week after my invitations went to print, I got a call from my venue stating that they were closing, thus needing new invites with a new venue printed on them. I called Ruth right away. Even though the delivery date wasn't scheduled for about another 3 weeks for invites to be done, she had already completed them. After explaining the situation, Ruth worked with me and only charged the cost to reprint (forwarded to venue of course).

My reprinted invitations were completed only a week after that, and they are beautiful. They look exactly as they did in the proof she sent me. Ruth responded in a timely manner, was always friendly and helpful, and her timeline ran ahead of schedule the entire time. Ruth was an absolute joy to work with; helpful every step of the way. There is a reason she has won awards for "Best Of". Invitations definitely set the tone of the event for your guests, and I couldn't imagine them looking any better than they do. Thank you so much, Ruth!!!

We turned to Ruth for our wedding invitations and day-of stationery. Our wedding date changed, requiring that we rush our order. Ruth was faithful to our deadline while helping us design, redesign, and redesign again our invitations.

She gave great tips for how we could adjust and tweak our invitations to fit our budget.

I couldn't have asked for a better experienced! She was professional, creative, and genuinely interested in setting the tone for an intimate and thoughtful wedding.

I will continue to recommend PaperFling for ANY type of occasion!

After browsing online and in store at a few invitation shops, I was overwhelmed with all of the options but couldn't really find what I was looking for. From the moment we sat down with Ruth at Paper Fling, we felt at ease. She walked us through some samples and had us pull out the elements we liked. Then she worked with us on a custom design that brought our vision to life. Ruth was extremely patient and helpful throughout the entire process, even helping with wording. It was a bit pricey, but worth the added expense to have them address envelopes and assemble everything. The invitations turned out fantastic! When it came time to think about place cards, menus, favor tags, etc, we went directly to Paper Fling because we knew the results would be beautiful and the process would be stress free.

Invitations were definitely one of the wedding tasks I was dreading most, but Paper Fling exceeded our expectations in every way - the paper selection and quality were great and the service was excellent. We couldn't have been happier with the finished product, and would highly recommend Paper Fling!

Our wedding date changed last minute and we had less than two weeks to rush order our invitations. Ruth was incredibly flexible and organized and we received them in about a week and a half!

My fiance and I explored many stationery vendors and Paper Fling provided us with the best experience and custom tailoring. We are seeing Ruth again for our menus and programs and we highly recommend her!

I worked primarily with Hailey on my invitations and RSVP cards. I had my heart set on a specific look that I was told by another stationer was 'impossible' and way out of my budget... I mentioned it to Hailey during my initial consultation while looking through books and she told me it WAS possible, and that I could custom design the invites myself, and it wouldn't break the bank. I was insanely happy. Hailey helped me to make my vision a reality, and we had amazing responses as to how cool our invites looked from our family and friends. I loved working with the staff here... they were so easy to work with and everyone was so friendly!

Everything with Paper Fling went smoothly. Aubrey provided excellent service, was very helpful, helped me to narrow down what I wanted from the massive selection of invitations that are available. She responded in a very timely manner and everything was delivered on time. The only little surprise was when the invitations were delivered, I didn't realize I would have to assemble them myself (weave ribbon through the paper invite, in my case). So, she probably should have told me that just so it was clear but otherwise everything was great!

Paper Fling is the BEST to work with! When we went for our first appointment to pick out the invitations we felt so welcome from the start. We had trouble choosing between a few different styles, so Ruth suggested to use what we liked from the bountiful amounts of options and make our own custom invites! From there we were able to do save the dates, programs, name cards, envelopes and even thank you notes that all have the same theme! Ruth/Paper Fling is very responsive with every email or phone call. We are constantly getting emails, texts and phone calls on how amazing our invites are. It is all THANKS to Paper Fling!

My fiance and I wanted a custom invitation featuring a gondola. Ruth and her team and Paper Fling put together a great looking invitation and RSVP cards for us, and were totally patient and extremely responsive while we acted like a couple of crazy people changing our own grammar and punctuation approximately 6,000 times. They also accomodated my request to do the proofs by mail, email, etc., which was a timesaver. When we did finally go to the physical store, it was very very cute. Paper Fling was a pleasure to work with, and I'm completely satisfied with the result. Thank you!

These guys are incredible! We got a recommendation for them when we were stuck on how to design invitations for two ceremonies, and starting to panic. Ruth and her staff were awesome. They were very patient and took a lot of time to sit with my Mom and I while we looked through all the options for invitations and Save the Date cards. I already had a design in mind for my save the dates and they were so easy to work with to create exactly what I wanted even though it wasn't what they did very often. The only suggestion I would give for the save the date cards with a picture on the front of a post card would be to use thicker card stock paper so they don't begin to curve due to the amount of ink on one side.

Our invitations were beatiful. I was able to take ideas from several different invitations that they had in the store and create my own dream invitation. Ruth was very helpful when sending me the proofs for the inviations and was patient when I wanted to make changes! The only thing I didn't think about while creating my dream invitations was the price of postage! WHOA! It's a good thing to keep in mind when adding all the bells and whistles!

Ruth and her team also made our programs, which were also wonderful. She made them match the same look as our invitations which was a nice way to tie it all together.

Although the invitations were expensive, they were worth it! Plus, the knowledge, kindness, and small-shop feel of Paper Fling was a breath of fresh air from all the BIG wedding vendors. Paper fling was very personable, professional, and friendly!

We got our programs and place cards (not invitations) from a small stationary shop in Bothell, Washington. We were extremely pleased with the final product. Ruth, the proprietor, was extremely patient with all our revisions, and even sent out another batch of place cards after we eliminated one table due to cancellations, which threw off all the table numbers. The ceremony programs were simple, classy, and elegant. Unbelievably, the custom products that we got from Paper Fling cost less than the equivalent products available online, as not as customizable, from magnetstreet.com, which we used for our invitations and save-the-dates.

We are definitely using Paper Fling for our thank you cards.

I had an excellent experience with Ruth at Paperfling. I reached out to Ruth with a specific vision in mind – that would require a large amount of detail and customization (including ribbon and crystal accents). Ruth was able to take my vision and turn it into gorgeous invitation, favor boxes, table tents and seat cards that went above and beyond my expectations. On top of that – she did all this work at a very reasonable price, much less than I would have paid for similar products sold by standard invitation vendors. Ruth was very patient and pleasant with me to make sure my needs were met during review/proof rounds. The invitations came in a timely manner and they just as beautiful as the proof. I am getting many compliments on my invites and I am excited to know they are handmade and one of a kind.

I would be very excited to work with Ruth and her team on future events and custom paper needs.

Ruth at Paper Fling is simply the best! For our invitations we wanted something unique and memorable. We weren't sure it was even possible to create our vision, but Ruth found a way. Our invitations were perfect and our guests can't stop talking about them! Ruth is also extremely responsive and flexible. Three days before our wedding we realized we needed another project. We contacted Ruth and she made it happen.

If you want great service and fabulous invitations Paper Fling is the way to go! You can either order from one of there books from other vendors or you can make a custom invitation through them. Each member of there stuff is super creative and have so many great ideas. They not only did our wedding invitations but they are also doing our table numbers, programs and thank you notes. They have great prices and you will certainly walk away happy!!

We hadn't planned on getting custom invitations, but we were having a difficult time finding invitiations that fit our wedding style. A trip to Paper Fling changed that. With the help of shop owner Ruth, we designed our own invitiations. They were great to work with and the end result was perfect!

Ruth at Paper Fling is so helpful, and she can literally create your dream invitation for you! We searched high and low for the perfect image of a Ranunculus, and when it was found, it looked so beautiful on our invitations. They were very reasonably priced, and she even has an option to have an "Invite Yourself" Party. This is where you come into her store with friends and assemble the invites together. It's so fun, and you save 10% that way.

I was very happy with our invitations from Paper Fling. I was glad to find a business where you can actually look at real examples in front of you, instead of guessing how something will look after seeing it online. They really helped guide me through the tons of invites and fonts, and were very patient while I took forever deciding. I got a lot of compliments on how nice the invites were. Now I am upcycling the extra ones to make thank you cards, and I bet people will like those too!

Ruth and Aubrey at Paper Fling are fantastic. I did all of my wedding stationary with them - from Save the Dates to all my reception stationary. I really wasn't very sure what I wanted at all during my first consultation there, but they gave me direction without being pushy at all. They let me take my time to look through everything to figure out what I liked and didn't like. I did custom Save the Dates, which turned out beautifully and then did letterpress for my invitations. You can really customize all the stationary however you want and the girls at Paper Fling make sure it happens exactly to how you like. I would highly recommend them for all your stationary needs and I know I will go back for any of my future events!

Convier Design was great! We worked with them to create a totally new invitation with an idea that I had in mind. It turned out so much better than I could have imagined! We were also able to come in and assemble them ourselves which was a lot of fun and saved us a little money. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a custom invitation!

Ruth was great to work with. She worked with me to come up with really lovely invites, and when there were problems with some of the invites, she fixed those problems very quickly. We were very pleased with the stationary for our wedding and very happy with how everything turned out.

We loved the invitations we got from Ruth. The designs were great, and the discount for assembling them ourselves made them very affordable. The only little problem I had was that it took her a little long sometimes with sending us samples/proofs. Her selection and flexibility made it very worth the wait, though.

Ruth created beautiful custom work - I never felt like I was picking from a template. She's extremely flexible which was really important to me - especially with so many other things going on. Having that extra support when and how I needed it was worth the price.

They did a beautiful job on our invitations and really worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. After looking through the books, my fiance and I loved a letterpress design, but the cost was more than we wanted to spend. Aubrey worked with us to create a custom design very similar to the letterpress one, but even better (and more personal to us) for a fraction of the cost. They also regularly run specials, so I was able to get all of my addresses and return addresses printed for free, saving us A LOT of time and money. I had many compliments from guests on them who said they were beautiful and fit us perfectly.

Our invitations were somewhat customized so using the cheapest online option wasn't the best fit. We decided to visit Paper Fling (no appointment) to see what they had to offer. Ruth greeted us and right away sat down with us to discuss what we were looking for and gave us great suggestions. We went in a second time to actually make the purchase and it went just as smoothly. Paper fling is responsive via e-mail as well. We appreciated all their help and suggestions and would recommend them

I loved the invitations. Ruth, was professional and timely in all aspects. A little expensive for 25 invitations; but I was very satisfied with the invitations.

Paper Fling does create beautiful invitations and has great, fast customer service.
However, I wasn't so thrilled that my invitations had an undisclosed "made by hand" margin of error that affected far more than not of my invitations - ie If you have a design that uses two different printing styles and relies heavily on the placement of your printing being exact - it most likely won't be on most of the prints.
They were more than willing to work with me on a refund that was suitable for such (as there was no time for a re-print), but that didn't fix me feeling bad for sending out "less than perfect" invitations to my guests when I had invested so much time (with adjusting/approving proofs) and (not to mention) money into them looking "just so".

When looking for designs for my wedding invitations I spent months looking for ideas online first but I was still unsure. I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of the paper and see the printed ink before spending hundreds of dollars. I first went to Paper Source in Bellevue. Their store was beautiful, but when I asked for help with invitations they pointed at a huge stack of gigantic books full of invitations. Not quite the help I was looking for. After about 15 minutes of being overwhelmed and trying to find a place to set this 10 pound book of paper, we left.

I ended up going to Paper Fling with my fiance and one of my bridesmaids. Even though we had no appointment, Ruth immediately sat us down and started working with us. I told her what I wanted and she brought out the perfect book of examples. I found what I was looking for in less then five minutes. Ruth was great to work with and she helped us pick font styles, wording, etc. My proofs were emailed in PDF format to me within a week, and my invitations arrived at the store two weeks after that. Smooth, efficient service with a smile!

I definitely recommend buying your invitations from a wonderful store like this as opposed to just buying them online! There is definitely a price, though. For 75 invitations with folds, pockets, and heavy paper it ran us about $600. But being totally satisfied with the end product? Priceless!

Would definitely not recommend Paper Fling for wedding invitations. Main reasons I would not use them again:
1) Paper quality of their invitations are not acceptable. They use economy paper that looks very thin and makes guests think “cheap.” They had other paper options available but those would take 2-3 months to receive - we needed our invitations in 2-3 weeks.
2) Paper Fling did not offer us physical print samples – this makes it very difficult to visualize what the invitations will end up looking like. Some of the better invitation companies offer physical print samples – Paper Fling would not.
3) Digital sample – they charge $17 for each digital sample. Again, I’m not sure why sending me a pdf with the wedding invite text would cost $17. And each time we wanted to change a word, we were told it would be another $17 for another digital sample. This made us feel like we were being nickel and dimed.
4) Customer service – when we tried to speak to our Paper Fling rep about some of our concerns, they were not interested in addressing our concerns to make things “right”. That’s too bad because we still needed menus, program & placeholder cards and they lost our business there – we went somewhere else for those things.

On the plus side, they delivered on schedule. However, given our overall experience with Paper Fling I would not recommend them to other engaged couples.

Ruth sent the wrong proof to print, after I had requested she correct a grammatical error. The error was corrected in my final proof and present on the finished product. The thought of sending wedding invitations with such a glaring grammatical error makes me physically I'll, yet I don't have a choice thanks to timing. The invitations she sent were lovely, but the professionalism leaves MUCH to be desired.

Poor communication, customer service, and final product. My fiancee made it clear she wanted gold font during her initial consult yet our invitations arrived with a dull gray font. Ruth had promised a physical proof of concept invitation but instead, we were only ever sent digital proofs. Maybe if Ruth had lived up to her end of the bargain we would have seen that she decided to make design decisions on her own accord. Once Ruth has your business she is almost impossible to get a hold of. So if you have any complaints, get ready to have nobody but your unsatisfied SO to voice them to.

Also, if you're Canadian, get ready to be charged with a huge customs/import fee. Ruth promised she had dealt with Canadian customers before and that there were no extra fees that were charged. When UPS arrived at my door they were asking for $200 in extra fees. When we asked Ruth if she had declared the value of the package she told us she hadn't. Yet somehow UPS knew the exact price we paid for her services. I guess UPS must be mind readers.

I'm completely unsatisfied and wish I had gone with somebody else for my wedding invitations.
