    Tesa was phenomenal with handling our wedding event, period! We had tons of questions and concerns understandably, and she answered them all. The entire staff were very welcoming and made sure that every detail was executed perfectly. We loved the venue inside and out, we loved the food, the experience, price, everything was amazing. Thank you Panama Country Club. You come highly recommended!

    This venue is perfect. I wanted something on the water but did not want everyone to walk through sand. The beach was not an option for me. The outdoor ceremony site is right on the water. There is an arch for the bride and groom to stand in front of that looks absolutely beautiful when decorated. The country club does the alcohol and the food so it did get pretty pricey but everyone at the wedding could not stop talking about the food (including myself). It was incredible. There were so many options and we picked two proteins, a few starches, a salad, and apps were cheese and fruit. We had options for the bar and decided to just buy kegs and wine. We started with one keg and paid for another that day. They held our card information and brought us our receipt when they needed to charge us for another keg. We learned closer to the wedding that Tesa Burch could decorate for us, do our rehearsal, AND coordinate for us. She was AMAZING. She had the perfect personality for me to work with and could read me very well. After our ceremony she immediately brought us drinks. She had shots waiting for all of us before our introduction. She replied to all my phone calls, texts, and emails immediately. She kept in contact with me and communicated with me as much as I needed. She alone made our big day run as smoothly as possible. I cannot thank her enough for the amazing job she did. I highly, highly, highly recommend the country club.

    The Country Club was a great venue to use for our reception. The food was great, and they allow you to really make the space your own, and utilize an outside planner if you wish, which is difficult to find in a venue. The staff was helpful and attentive to us and our guests!

    Panama Country Club and the staff were absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a more perfect venue. The event coordinator Lacy Danielson (Linen and Lace) took care of every detail. She made sure that I did not have to lift a finger. The bar staff and waiters are very professional and took care of my guests every need. The venue is in a beautiful location overlooking the water on the bay.

    The Panama Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. With the ceremony under the arbor in front of the beautiful bay and the reception inside the clubhouse with the beautiful view of the sunset, it was a total dream. All food was catered by the country club and it was amazing. They listened to what we wanted and did not disappoint. Their wedding coordinator, Lacey, was easy to get in contact with and answered our every question. We loved the country club as our venue and would recommend to everyone!

    The country club was amazing! It was a gorgeous place to have our cermoney and reception. They handled also everything, frim set up to tear down along with the food and alcohol.

    I am so excited that my husband and I decided to get married at the Panama Country Club. The staff was wonderful and so easy to work with. Laurie was by far one of the reasons our day went as well as it did. Se was very quick to respond to any questions and I and even took the time to change last minute things the week of the wedding. The Country Club is a gorgeous place and the food was great as well. We had no issues the day of our wedding and would not go back and change a thing if we could. We had the wedding of our dreams and that is all because of Country Club and its awesome staff!!!!

    My wedding reception was held at the Panama Country Club. I chose to have hors d'oeuvres while the bridal party was having our pictures taken, and a sit down meal once the bridal party arrived. The food was fantastic, the service was outstanding, and the view of the water while everyone was eating and dancing was priceless. Laura (the chef) was more than accommodating when I wanted to meet with her to discuss changes to the guest list or the menu - her advice was helpful and very honest. I am so happy that I chose the Panama Country Club as my reception venue - everything was perfect!

    The Panama Country Club is an outstanding venue. The facility is beautiful, set directly on the bay with gorgeous views. The staff is professional and proficient... they tended to our every need and gave exemplary service. Our wedding went flawlessly thanks to the attention provided by Kaitlyn and the staff! We couldn't have asked for more!

    A great wedding venue! We booked late in the season (~3 months notice), and their coordinator Laurie not only helped find a Sunday that worked for us but also gave very useful information on the timing of ceremony/reception/photo shooting.

    Pricing was very reasonable - we felt like we were not pressured in any way to upgrade to items or packages we did not need, and whenever we had any questions regarding how pricing worked or where we might be able to save a little our questions were always answered openly and completely. Even when we had last minute items to change (especially in the last few days regarding final guest and food counts), the staff did not even bat an eye.

    On the day itself, the grounds were beautiful, with green lawn, gorgeous trees and fantastic water views both from the reception area and the outdoor ceremony locations (there were 2 outside locations to choose from for the ceremony). We particularly enjoyed the well equipped bridal room and groom room, great for bridal preparation photos and for groomsmen to relax and hangout (though ours were too busy to relax due to the morning ceremony arrangement). With this great setting, our wedding photos turned out very well - some people even wondered if some of the photos were using poster backgrounds :)!

    We did not have much time to enjoy the food ourselves, but heard very good feedback from guests about the food! We did encounter some delayed responses occasionally, possibly due to the intensity of events, but it was not a big deal overall.

    In short, we would recommend this venue to anyone getting married, either local to the Panama City area, or planning a wedding from afar (as we did from Washington DC)!

    Kaitlyn, Events Coordinator was very helpful to us when planning the wedding and reception as they were both held on-site. She gave me alot of helpful ideas which helped me when making decisions on the amount of food for the numer of guest, table placement, etc.. I was very grateful for her professionalism and kindness.

    Panama City Country Club was the perfect spot for our outdoor dream wedding. From the first visit to the big day, the staff at PCC was always there and ready when we needed them. The outdoor ceremony space was stunning and the reception room was a perfect fit for our wedding. The food on the buffet was so good and the bar staff was quick with the drinks. We would recommend the PCC for any bride on their wedding day.

    Panama Country Club was a great venue for our wedding. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating. Beautiful setting for both ceremony and reception. The food/bar service was fantastic.

    Signed a contract with Stacy and then before the wedding, Scott took over managing the weddings at the country club. We were given a quote for prices of meals. When the wedding got closer, we were then told that the prices had changed and we ended up paying a lot more than had originally planned. Granted, it said in the packet that prices could change at any time and of course management changed, but to me, it sat wrong.

    The wait staff was nice and friendly. The food was good, we had the chicken chesapeake.
    When I arrived there on the day of my wedding, everything looked good and things were on track. The chairs outside were not exactly where I wanted them but after mentioning something, that was fixed.
    Was not yet eight (when we had payed until) and some of the guests were leaving and literally as soon as a table was empty, the employees were taking off linens and it gave off a very get-out-of-here feel.
    Other than that, things went smoothly and its a beautiful venue.

    The Country Club was very helpful in scheduling and helping me find vendors for my wedding. I also appreciated that they worked with me on staying within my budget as they were changing and updating prices. They were also very professional and courteous. The only thing I was inconvenienced by was that they went through 3 different wedding coordinators during my engagement (about a year) and I had a hard time getting responses from them- a problem because I live out of state.

    There were a few things I was not happy about. The main one if your having a bad day leave it at the door do not let it affect your work.....

    The Panama Country Club was a beautiful venue for our outdoor wedding and the price was very reasonable compared to other venues in the area. However, we did have some issues with the management. The event coordinator changed 3 times during our planning process, about 9 months, & we were not notified that this had occurred. With that came many rule and policy changes. When we signed our contract initially, we were told certain things, but when the management changed, many of these things also changed. We could no longer take down the large duck pictures on the wall for our event day as we were originally promised. This took major effort & money on our part to find a solution to cover these. It was also sometimes unclear who we should communicate with while planning our event. In some cases, we would ask questions to one person & then get a response from some higher authority, sometimes treating us rudely as if we had gone behind their backs. The procedures when planning our food, seating, etc. with the coordinator were not laid out clearly to us & it seemed we had to initiate everything with them. They also generally did not answer phones or respond quickly. When it came down to the day of our wedding, almost everything did run smoothly, however. The final coordinator, Christine, whom we had met less than 3 weeks before our wedding, did a great job trying to pull everything together. We just didn't have enough time to plan with her for her to be much help making sure we got what we needed. We were able to have our rehearsal at our desired time, but shortly before the wedding, we were notified that there would be a wedding the next day, so everything had to be cleaned up that night after our reception. This did not cause a major issue, as our family & friends generously volunteered to stay to clean up, but we felt bad putting that burden on them. Overall, we enjoyed having our wedding at the PCC, we just suggest you take caution before you sign a contract with them.

    I am the new event coordinator at Panama Country Club. My name is Tesa and I have been with the club two years now and don't plan on going anywhere. It is true that we have transitioned through management and coordinators but at this point we are in a very good place with the most loyal staff still here and running the place. The "duck" pictures are gone. They were original Audubon Lithographs of native Northwest Florida birds and the owner took them back into their possession. We displayed those proudly as we are a certified Audubon Sanctuary. We now have a brand new paint jobs in our dining room and west room and are expecting to install new carpet this year when we can schedule it between events. Also, we allow extra time outside of the four hour rental block if we can make it available but if someone else books the room then we must honor their contract. Next day clean-up is usually something we can offer because Sundays are not a super busy day for events but sometimes that is not the case and the room gets rented.

    In December, we pd a deposit to reserve the "whole building" for our daughter's wedding for Saturday April 6, 2013 (total $1,000 just to reserve the "whole" building). Months later we were told that there was another event scheduled for the Friday night before (which turned out to be another wedding), which meant that we could NOT have our wedding rehearsal the night before. Then we were told that a golf tournament/awardf ceremony had been scheduled for that Saturday and that it would be "in the center of the room" and we could not decorate there. Because of the Friday night wedding and the Saturday tournament/award ceremony we had to decorate AFTER 10 PM on Friday night! So I did not get the "whole building" for my $1,000 that I paid, and had to recruit people to decorate practically in the middle of the night! The BEST part of this whole thing was Kaitlyn Anglin, who was our event coordinator. She was very professional and fun to work with! She did everything she could to accomodate our needs.

    Panama Country Club's reply:

    We truly do apologize for your inconvenience. Our events coordinator at that time, Kaitlyn, should have alerted you to the fact that we did have multiple events scheduled. Our contract states that the $1000 room rental is for a four hour block. We do however allow parties to come in prior to that time if the facility is available. In your case it was not and I am sorry that was not explained to you completely. Hopefully you were pleased with all other aspects of your event!!
