Wonderful Wedding Photographer!

Great experience, very professional and high-quality photos at a reasonable price. Erin was there the night before for our rehearsal dinner and provided lots of relaxed candid shots.
Erin and Breanne did a great job from our pre-bridal/groom moments to capturing the set up of the flowers and cake. The first look and beach shots were fun and we got our money shot as the sun went down. The ceremony and dinner/dancing had them both busy and we got a lot of great moments - Palos Studio really captured our magical weekend!

Erin and her team are phenomenal! It rained on my wedding day (outdoor wedding) and they were so enthusiastic about it and knew that the pictures would turn out amazing so it made me not even care about the rain either! I got the photobooth with them as well and everyone loved it and said it was great! They were the sweetest vendors that I had for my wedding and I will deffinitly use them in the future and 1,000 percent recommend them

Palos Studio and their team are simply amazing! They have such a fun, modern and beautiful photographic style! Erin is amazing with her clients and always makes them feel special. I enjoyed having her take my head shot. :)

Erin and her team are so wonderful to work with. They capture the love, emotions and every single important detail of your big day. The moments were beautifully captured with attention to detail and composition. It was so exciting to receive our photos ahead of schedule as well. The team that makes up Palos Studio is amazing! Their ability to capture moments in time that create a lifetime of memories is flawless. I cannot recommend Erin & Louis highly enough! I have worked with them a few times and have always been delivered atellar images and had a wonderful experience working with them. They are super kind people, they make you feel comfortable, and strive to get to know your style to capture the best quality photos.

Erin of Palos Studio is such a sweetheart! I have worked with her on many occasions and each time, she captures moments perfectly. She is extremely passionate about her work and enjoys every second of it. Her editing style is also very natural and not overly exposed because she makes sure the lighting is always in your favor! I know many brides who have had a great experience with Erin and her team, from engagements, to weddings, to maternity shoots! It is always fun to see how each client entrusts her to continuously capture each milestone from beginning to end!

I can't thank Palos Studio enough! They did an absolutely beautiful job capturing our wedding day. All of the pictures were gorgeous. They captured every important moment and also did a wonderful job capturing all of our friends and family. Which was very important to us. They are professionals and know exactly what to do and they do it right! It was an absolute pleasure working with both Erin and Breanne. From the very beginning they were professional, attentive to detail, and very friendly. I'm big on customer service and they absolutely earn an A+ from me! They work closely with you and your fiancé to make sure they know your style and the important images you want to capture. Not only were our wedding day photos beautiful but also our engagement photos! They did a wonderful job! Every time I look at my wedding photos I relive that day. We were so excited to work with Erin and Palos Studio prior to even booking them. Erin's quality of work and creativity speaks volumes through her photography. She photographed our engagement session and the pictures were stunning. Our wedding pictures were nothing short of that. We have beautiful pictures from our church as, well as our venue, photographed by both Breanne and Erin. Palos Studio is extremely flexible and understands how to deliver everything you are looking for, as well as what they think will work best. They were so much fun and extremely professional. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best day of their lives captured so beautifully!

We used Palos Studio for our engagement and wedding photography, and we also used their Superfly Photo Booth for our wedding too. Erin, the owner of Palos Studio, is so sweet and professional. We initially met with her and loved her professionalism and style of photography, so we definitely wanted to book her. We're glad we did because our pictures came out amazing and we can't thank her enough!

Also, their Superfly Photo Booth is so much fun! All our guests loved it. It's different than a typical photo booth because it's a setup backdrop that can fit way more people in the photo. Plus the props are included in the rental!

We highly recommend Palos Studio to anyone!

My husband and I chose Palos Studio because we love their style! We are so happy with the way our photos came out. Erin was so nice and accommodating when we met her. She was also very responsive with email and made any requests we had, happen. Also, we didnt have to wait long to get our photos, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Palos Studio!

Erin and Louis are amazing photographers! My husband and I are so pleased with Palos Studio for both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures! Erin shot our engagement pictures and she made us feel so comfortable together in front of the camera, we really had a fun time and got amazing pictures from it!
For our wedding, we had both Erin and Louis as our photographers. They are amazing together!!! They are both so talented and their creativeness truly showed on our wedding day! We got so many different shots and angles of pictures from our wedding, and I don't even remember them following us around! Their pictures are absolutely beautiful!!! I have already looked at them over and over again. We are suppose to pick out 80 pictures that we want them to put into our photo album, but I don't know how we can narrow down our favorite pictures to 80!- There are just too many favorites :) They captured so many amazing memories that we will cherish forever and we are so thankful to them!

Erin Palos takes GORGEOUS photos. I am a photo junky, so the first thing I did when I got engaged was look into photographers. I searched and searched until I found Palos Studios. They looked like my dream photographers but I wanted to meet with them first. From the minute we walked into the office, I felt completely comfortable. Erin is such a sweet, kind hearted, wonderful person. Not only that but her photography is STUNNING. Erin took our engagement photos and they came out more beautiful than I could even imagine. She also did a boudoir shoot for me before the wedding. I used that to give to my husband the day of our wedding as a wedding gift. Not only were those photos stunning, but she made me feel sexy, beautiful, and comfortable taking those photos. I thought I would be uncomfortable, but she had champagne and a relaxing environment. The day of the wedding, she came with a second shooter, and took so many gorgeous photos. I never felt like I had to worry about a thing during the whole wedding because I knew she was capturing everything. She took so many photos that it took me 2 days to go through them all. She captured every special minute and more. One thing you don't want to do is skimp on your photographer. Palos Studio will capture all the special moments for your wedding and more. There are pieces of the wedding that I forgot about until I saw the photos. Thank you Erin for making my experience such a wonderful one and for capturing all the special moments of my wedding for me.

I was very happy we chose to work with Erin and Louis Palos for our wedding. Erin was very patient with my bridal party...which I know can sometimes be a challenge with this group! She welcomed any photo opportunity we requested and made great suggestions so that our photos would not look too staged, but natural and genuine. It was great that she had worked in the Huntington Beach area many times before and knew the best location on the beach for the perfect shots! I would definitely recommend Palos Studios because I felt confident she understood the style of photos we wanted and knew what to do to make sure we all looked our best!

Palos Studio did such an amazing job on our wedding day. A friend/co-worker hired Palos Studio for their wedding in 2009. Since then, I have been following their posts and knew they had to capture our photos on our wedding day. Contacting, booking, updating date, and working with Palos Studio has been such a breeze.
As the day started, everything was going well up until the limo driver was in the picture (wink ;), he was about 1.5-2hrs late. This threw off our wedding day schedule and we had to skip and re-arrange a couple events. I had one of my bridesmaid call and change the meeting place and time and Palos Studio; they met us at the church and not at the hotel without a problem. They were waiting for us when we got there. There was some time between the church and reception and they took us to the beach for more photo opportunity. I am in LOVE with their work and we are still so very excited and can't wait to see them (even the sneak peeks).
I am definitely a fan for life!!

Erin from Palos Studios was amazing! We were determined to find the perfect photographer, and met about 10 before hiring Erin. We did both our engagement session and wedding photos with Erin. For our engagement shoot, we had very specific things in mind (wanted beach and architecture, and we wanted to include our dogs). She took it all into consideration and suggested Laguna Beach. The pictures were spectacular and totally reflected our personalities. Also, she proved her skills in catching the light at dusk - which we loved about her pictures from our initial meeting. She did an amazing job capturing all of the moments in our wedding, and the pictures are perfect! I was so comfortable with her on our wedding day. She was willing to take all the pictures I wanted, but also suggested additional pictures that would look great, and she was right! All in all, Erin was such a sweetheart, who put me at ease on my wedding day and took AMAZING photographs that we will cherish forever!!!

I honestly cannot say enough things about Erin and Louis. They were truly an amazing duo to have capture our wedding day. They are two of the sweetest and most talented photographers. Their worked is exceptional and I could not have asked for better photographers. They captured every moment of our wedding day and we are thrilled with the end result. Wonderful pictures and photographers! The Palos Studios provides worry free wedding days. There are many moments in time that you want caught on camera especially during your wedding day and after that split second they are gone...the palos studio captures most if not all of those moments. They are a joy to work with and are really respectful/responsive of what photos you want taken and they take very artistic/modern/creative pictures as well. Some may say that they are on the pricey side but you get what you pay for - do you really want to gamble with a cheap photographer on the most important day of your life?

Every bride and groom knows how much hard work goes into planning a wedding, so the best compliment that I can give to the amazing Palos Studio is that every interaction and correspondence with Erin and Louis felt absolutely effortless. They are masters of their craft in every way, but their cool and calm demeanor makes the experience of working with them an absolute delight.

When Erin and Louis showed up on the day of the wedding, I was instantly more at ease. They were with us every step of the way on our big day, and it truly felt like being with old friends. Erin and Louis captured all the special moments- big and small, obvious and not so obvious- to the point where it felt like watching a video when we went through our gallery of photos. Their incredible talent, attention to detail, and ability to tell a story through their photographs is what I feel makes this dynamic duo truly special.

Palos Studio is the perfect team for anyone looking for photographers who are not only exceptionally artisitic but equally reliable and fun to be around. Thanks Erin and Louis!!

We chose Palos Studios after both a personal and professional referral to us. We have had our engagement session done and loved the photos, they gave us every photo and the rights to our photos in a timely manner and were easy to work with and made us feel comfortable as first time "photo shoot" participants. The husband & wife team makes it easy for couples or anyone to open up and show true emotions in their shots...we look forward to having them as our wedding photographers in November and have seen much of their work on the website and really like what we see so we KNOW we will be pleased with the outcome of our wedding photos and definitely will return to them for major & minor life events in the future!

Louis and Erin were AMAZING! We loved working with them and their photos of our wedding came out beautifully! We loved how they took some traditional photos, but were also not afraid to take some that were incredibly artistic and editorial. We will continue to refer them to everyone we know!

We worked with Erin for both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and she was fantastic! Taking our engagement pictures with her was so easy and fun and the pictures were amazing!

We had a great experience working with Erin on our wedding day as well. We decided not to do a first look and she was very accommodating with keeping us separated while she did the shoot. She and her assistant arrived early and got started right away shooting the detail shots. We stayed on time the whole evening and got the shots that we wanted. We also did the photobooth and I would highly recommend this! It is so much fun and I know that we will get some awesome and hilarious pictures from it!

We haven't received our pictures yet (hopefully soon!), but if they are anything like our engagement pictures, they will be beautiful. Erin has a great eye for perfect shooting locations and I can't wait to see our pictures! I highly recommend Palos Studio! They were great to work with and do amazing work!

Louis and Erin are two of the most hard working team I've ever meet and worked with. They made me and my new husband feel so special! We didn't have time to do an engagement shoot and both are kind of shy in front of the camera but once around them it was like we were made to be in front of the camera. Louis and Erin are also so professional, we have a kind of unique family that could cause some people to run for the hills but not them they were great and so very patient.
My husband even told them once we start having a family we will definitely be in touch to do pregnancy and family pictures with them. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone that would ask!

Erin and Louis are wonderful! I would highly recommend them to any bride and groom to capture the memories of your special day. Their photographs are absolutely stunning! From the first day I met with Erin, I knew Palos Studio were the photographers for me. Louis made us feel very comfortable at our engagement session and captured our personalities perfectly. On our wedding day, they arrived early and captured all of our "must-have" pictures throughout the day. I especially love that they took photos of all of the small wedding details as well. I can't say enough great things about Erin & Louis!!! They met every expectation and then some! I did a ton of research for photographers before I chose Palos Studio. I knew that the pictures were my #1 priority, as this would capture everything I might have missed that day. Important things for me were.. lighting, textures, candid & original shots! I got them all.

Erin & Louis are very personable, they make you feel so comfortable, like you've been friends all along. I love their creativity & ability to capture the moment. They are young & fun and up to date on current ideas. You're definitely not getting that "old stuffy photographer, same old pictures, cheesy poses" type of photographers.

I actually did 3 photo sessions with them. A boudoir session, engagement, and of course our wedding.... I was so pleased with every picture they took! Made me feel so good, like a model or something.
They were always on time, (although I might not have been :) everything ran smoothly, they were always one step ahead, and I didn't have to worry about a thing (as brides often do).

I have received SO many compliments on our photos, and have referred them to everyone and anyone I come across that are getting married. I do recommend using Palos Studio as your photographers, you will be more than pleased!

I can not say enough about Louis and Erin Palos from Palos studio. They are fantastic photographers, and even better people. I am so grateful that i got to work with them, they make you feel like you are friends with them and they go above and beyond for their couples. They take stunning photographs!!!! I had them not only take my wedding day photos but we also did a family session with them, and a really elaborate engagement session, which I think they were extraordinary! I would recommend these photographers to every one!!!!!!

The Palos are awesome people. They are very prompt in returning e-mails (I know I had a bunch!). They were very professional and on time to our wedding. They took a ton of great shots and are not afraid to go out of the norm in terms of what type of shots they take. They do every shot you ask and take a TON of pictures! We planned our LA wedding from the Bay Area, so we did extensive research online on photographers in the LA area. Palos Studio was our first choice, and we were thrilled when we found out they were available. Louis & Erin are both extremely personable & professional - which made working with them a pleasure. Neither my husband nor I like to be in front of the camera, but they made us totally forget about our self-consciousness. Our engagement photos & wedding photos came out great! Louis & Erin are pretty much everything we were looking for in wedding photographers - friendly, professional, and very talented.

Erin and Louis did a wonderful job capturing our wedding and engagement photos. For our engagement shots, we went to downtown LA, and Louis stayed much longer than he had to in order to get some really beautiful shots of us in several locations. Thank you Louis, we really loved the engagement shots.

Both Erin and Louis shot our wedding, and they were there capturing the day from beginning to end. They split up to get the pre-cermony getting ready shots of both me and my husband getting ready, thank you for driving so far! We are really happy with the portraits captured of the both of us.

Our venue referred us to several photographers, one of them being Erin & Louis. I met with most of them but felt most comfortable & confident in the work of Erin & Louis. I wasn't wrong! Our engagement session was done in Laguna Beach & we got pictures in several areas-sand, city, HUGE blue wall, etc. They are both so creative. We felt goofy taking some of the pictures, but they came out beautiful. Our wedding day was no different. They were on time & ready to go. They got every picture I hoped for & more. When taking pictures of all of the details they had several different creative angles. My favorites are the pictures of the rings & my bouquet. They are professional & kind. The moment we saw our engagement pictures, we knew we wanted to use them again after the wedding. After seesing the wedding pictures, I know we'll be a client for as long as they'll let us! They were absolutely perfect & so were our pictures. We can't wait to use them again & refer them to our family & friends!

They are AMAZING! Photos are some of the best I (and others) have seen and they are so great to work with. They really put you at ease and just know what shots to get. Always on time and professional.

We were so lucky to have Louis and Erin shoot our wedding pictures. They were very easy yet professional to work with, and the pictures turned out fantastic. Friends and family keep commenting how great they are. Best thing was that once the ceremony started, we even forgot about them, that they were working so hard to take our pictures. A couple of weeks later, they pleasantly surprised us with gorgeous pictures which for sure we will treasure for a long, long time.

Louis and Erin were fabulous to work with. I loved how comfortable they made me feel at the engagement shoot and the wedding. Before the wedding, I gave them a lengthy list of all of the moments that I wanted captured at the wedding. They were able to photograph all of them and then some. They are genuinely good people that can be trusted with the memories of your special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My wedding pictures were everything I expect, BEAUTIFUL! I couldnt ask for better Photographers. I felt very comfortable with Louis and Erin. Thanks Erin for always having such an awesome attitude. Louis and Erin I totally recommend as Photographers.

We chose Palos Studios because we really love Erin's style. Bold colors and clear photos drew us in and we've been happy with our photos. We did our engagement shoot in December and we just completed our wedding day on Feb 7, 2015.

Erin is a professional. She was always around capturing the day without interrupting the environment. Erin has an eye for your photos and is great at giving direction to two people who rarely photographs themselves. She's also fun to work with, we were able to have light hearted chats and laughs... which made the day less stressful.

We can't wait to see our photos and would definitely hire Palos Studios again.

I was referred to Palos by a friend who used them for her wedding back in 2010. I'm so glad I went with Palos and would recommend them! I met with Erin and she's super sweet and has done tons of weddings all over Southern California and familiar with a lot of venues and locales. Our engagement and wedding photos are gorgeous and we got TONS of photos. Although being center of attention and doing romantics may be awkward at first, Erin helped us be more at ease and gave us good direction.

The style of the photos are fantastic and I have so many great and multiple shots of all the details and people having fun. Their style is intimate and not too stylized in the post prod process which I feel makes for more timeless photos in years to come. All of our photos we received back are blog worthy, not just some. Also included is 2 shooters day of, super important to catch all the action. Erin was so much fun to be around and helped us feel comfortable and great on our big day and engagement shoot.

They do an absolutely amazing job, so if photos matter a lot to you, you won't be disappointed. Be patient while they perfect all the photos, you get over 1,000 of them after 8-10 weeks, digital both low and high res and the only tough thing is trying to narrow them down! Their prints are extremely well done too. They are so artistic and creative, making the wedding look so magical, and they are great at capturing the REAL moments of true emotion and tell a compelling story through their pictures.

Wedding Photography - Not as great as expected

We got married in March of 2019, but it has taken me awhile to leave a review because I am still a little upset with the products we received. We had Erin (owner) and Breanne at our wedding. Erin stayed with us ladies and Breanne went with the men. I feel like Breanne captured better photos, and Erin's were just okay. I am still upset that there were no specific pictures of my parents together other than walking down the aisle. I would have assumed that that type of photo is standard with a wedding package but I guess I am wrong. Breanne got plenty of pictures of my in laws together, but Erin did not take the time to get my dad back up to get pictures with my mom (I don't feel as this is something that we should have mentioned because weddings are already stressful). The editing was also not that great. Some of our pictures could have used a little more time to remove some items (fire extinguishers for example). Most of the pictures are beautiful, I am just truly disappointed for what we received and the money that was spent. The communication also lacked and that probably played a part in missing out on some photos.

They do a great job on the pictures and you'll be very happy with the end result; however, my only complaint (and it's a MAJOR one) is their lack of responsiveness. If Erin responds to your email or VM within 2 weeks, that's a miracle. I started to get nervous and thought they may not even show up at my wedding, but of course they did. One bit of advice for them is to respond in a timely matter, especially for us 'Type A' Brides. Even just an email back saying, "I'll get back to you next week" would have been nice.

Also, after we received our wedding pictures, we wanted to order a 20x30 enlargement and we emailed her, yet we received no response. So we called her and left a VM. No response. That was about 3 weeks ago. It's really unprofessional that they do not return phone calls or emails. Because of that, I would not recommend this vendor to anyone. Planning a wedding is stressful enough. Why deal with a vendor who doesn't return your phone calls or emails?

We could not be more unhappy with our engagement photos and our wedding photos. We are devastated. I see all the good reviews and I don't know if they just had really bad days BOTH times (the engagement photos - and wedding day??). I could not be more devastated by the fact that Palos Studious ruined our wedding pics. We hated our engagement pictures, but were hoping that our wedding pictures would turn out better - as Erin was not there for our Engagement pics and we spoke to them specifically about what shots we were looking for.

We also found them and saw their portfolio and website and thought their pictures were amazing - really beautiful. But I'm guessing that out of thousands of wedding photos you could find a few amazing ones to put on your website. Out of over 1200 pictures taken at our wedding, I can honestly say there are maybe 5 that are nice. The lighting was bad in most shots, the placement of people, the angle, etc. It looked as though they took all the photos in a huge rush and did not know what they were doing. In fact almost everyone that looks at our photos says just that. In fact, they were so disliked, no one ordered any pictures - not even our parents because they were all so bad. :(

I had to fill out a list of pictures that were important to be taken by them prior to the wedding - they did not take the 2 most important that i emphasized, even that day, I said to make sure those pictures were taken and they did not. Not only that they did not take several pictures of the family after the wedding - there are no shots with my parents and myself & husband. there are no shots of the bridal party and myself - just the guys. They didn't line anyone up or place them correctly. The shots of the guys - look like they are standing on a trail just hanging out (although they don't look candid) - my husband - the groom is off to the side in and the best man is in the spot the groom should be. Everyone has commented about how poor the shots are.

They also never took the time to fix my dress, veil, or anything in ANY shot. There are some shots that could have been okay but my dress is call crumpled up underneith me and my veil is all balled up due to wind .. when the shot they were taking was OF the dress. I do not have ONE shot of my dress all spread out and nice. They have a shot of my necklace close up and didn't even bother to straighten it (the little dangly part at the bottom is off to the side).

They took lots of shots of the set up of the wedding but none once it was set up so we have tons of shots of flowers half put together, tables half set, candles not lit, but not one single shot of a table or reception room completely set up and pretty.

And the most appalling, they couldn't fix the problems on the pictures before they sent them to us... (the ones that came with the package). My husband knows photoshop well and HE had to take Louis out of one photo and recrop it, fix the lighting in it .. they asked if he could crop it to fit the photo size and re send it to them to be printed. I could NOT believe they were not capable of fixing their photo errors and we had to do it !!!!

And not to mention they never return calls or emails, it takes average 3 emails along with 3 phone calls before they will respond to anything throughout the whole process. Even the week of the wedding - they did not let me know their timing until the day before. This was a huge frustration for myself and my husband throughout the planning.

I see many people are happy - and i'm so glad for them because it is so devastating to have your wedding photos ruined. Its not like you can go back and do it over again. For those of you that are happy - please enjoy them. I cannot tell you how sad we are.

If you do hire Palos Studios - i say see how you like your engagment pictures, if you do not like them DO NOT use them for your wedding, you will regret it!

I cannot say enough bad things about how our pictures turned out and how poor their service was.. Just the fact my husband had to fix the photos and they couldn't should tell you.
