Jesina Sent on 12/24/2017I can't say enough good things about Laurie! She is so amazing, friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed working with her to plan our special day. She is very responsive and would email or call me right away. She answered all my crazy questions and dealt with my flip-floppy wedding indecisiveness. Her staff is very organized and professional. The zoo keepers that showed off their animals were so knowledgeable and friendly and answered any questions our quest had. The cocktail hour help in the mayan ruins was such a great ambience as the sun was setting. The food was also very delicious and they had a variety to choose from. The fountain is such a beautiful setting for photos. One of our colors was purple and to our surprise the fountain was lit up with purple lighting! AMAZING! Our guest were so excited to tell all their friends they attended a wedding at the Zoo! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for Catering, Organization and a beautiful private setting.

User2267080 Sent on 08/12/2015The Palm Beach Zoo made for the perfect back drop for our ceremony. Laurie was an amazing, professional to work with. We had a small wedding consisting of 24 people. Laurie was able to provide an intimate ceremony as well as reception in a manner that one could have sworn there were 100 guests in attendance. The staff and animal handlers were all amazing. Laurie was able to provide the perfect wedding with only 2 weeks notice....
I would recommend this venue to any one looking for a unique wedding experience. As well as those in the LGBTQ community.

User780127 Sent on 04/21/2012After my original venue closed 80 days out from my wedding, I contacted Laurie at the Palm Beach Zoo for a late booking - and boy am I glad I did! Laurie was responsive, helpful, and great to work with. After touring the venue I booked it on the spot and it was the best thing I ever did. The wedding ran smoothly, the cocktail hour is in the coolest place with animal handlers (who gets to have parrots, owls, lizards and sloths at their cocktail hour?! - SO COOL!), and the reception space was perfect with table linens, and flowers on the table. The food provided was perfect with many options on the menu. We danced on the deck over looking the lake, took pictures on the carousel, and over all just had a wonderful time. If you are looking in Palm Beach for an off beat wedding - please contact the Palm Beach Zoo. I can't recommend them and Laurie enough! -

But the true gems are the amazing staff and delicious food all at a reasonable price for South Florida. You can even elect to have animal encounters at your cocktail hour. The catering sales manager, Laurie, was super responsive and with all the uncontrollable challenges that came about on our wedding day, she adapted and helped our vendors pull off a wedding even better than we could have imagined. Thank you for a crazy and magical memory! -

Fountains shoot after after pronounced husband and wife = Fun animal encounters as guests walk to the cocktail hour. Food was catered by zoo and delicious. Excellent value and venue

I can’t stress this enough, this place is beautiful beyond what you could imagine and the experience of getting married there is magical. When my husband and I said I do and the fountains starts shooting up, the birds started loudly chirping and the monkeys started cheering. Be it dinner time or sheer coincidence it felt like a fairytale and my guests were blown away. The entire experience was perfect. The animals they bring out for the cocktail hour had all of the guests feeling like kids again. Laurie was great to work with and made the process a breeze. Such a fun day and an amazing place for a wedding, I would absolutely recommend getting married here! -
