Our cake was beautiful and, more importantly, delicious! Guests raved about how tasty it was. Palermo made the ordering process easy, and we loved that they let us try 16 different samples in our tasting; it made us very confident in the quality of all of Palermo’s cakes. It was also a nice surprise that we were able to take the top tier home, which we weren’t expecting. -

Our venue had partnered with Palermo’s Bakery and we received a giant tasting box with all of their flavors to take home. The toughest part was narrowing down to two amongst so many great options! After that, we met virtually with Michelle to discuss our vision and everything else was handled by Palermo’s. -

We had the absolute best experience with Palermo Bakery for our wedding cake! From the very beginning, their team was so easy to work with—responsive, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited to bring our vision to life.
We chose a four-tier cake with two flavors—mango mousse and cookies & cream—and it was a huge hit. Not only was the cake beautifully designed and exactly what we envisioned, but it also tasted incredible. It’s rare to find a bakery that nails both presentation and flavor so perfectly, and Palermo truly delivered on both.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was (we even had people going back for seconds!). Everything was executed flawlessly, and it was one of the standout elements of our wedding.

If you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend Palermo’s for your wedding cake! We received a cake tasting box from Palermo’s during our venue’s food tasting and absolutely loved the variety of flavors. Working our way through the box was our favorite part of wedding planning! For our wedding cake, we chose a dark chocolate cake with chocolate pudding and a vanilla cake with cannoli cream. Our cake was beautiful, fresh, and delicious! So many of our guests are still raving about it! -

My husband and I had our wedding last week and Palermos made our cake! We worked with leighann, and she was so kind and helpful, she even got our pearls on the cake! It was so elegant and beautiful the way I had envisioned it, and it tasted even better! We had a whole cake tasting which was so much fun and all the flavors were very good! I highly recommend getting your wedding cake from them, its delicious and the staff is very nice! They did great! -

Palermo's was so easy to work with! Our venue recommended them. Tasting box was so fun, you show up and pick it up same day and email them your desired flavors as well as design! Such a simple and fun process, the cake day of was absolutely stunning and delicious!!! Couldn't tell you have many guests asked where the cake was from! A Wonderful Experience
We had a micro wedding with only 40 guests, but we wanted a wedding cake that looked beautiful, and you guys delivered! We decided to go with a semi-naked cake for our wedding, and working with Ivonne from Palermo was a breeze. She was meticulous with details and guided us through every step. This is no ordinary bakery; Joan, the owner, runs a truly exceptional operation. We never felt like just a number. Ivonne walked us through everything, and our cake not only looked beautiful but also tasted amazing. I can't thank Joan and her team enough for making our day so special. A huge shout-out to Palermo! I ordered a Palermo’s Bakery wedding Cake for my New Jersey December 2023 wedding and tasting that cake with my husband was truly a slice of heaven! Not only did our cake look beautiful but it tasted delicious which I was honestly not expecting! I thought we3dding cakes just all looked beautiful, I didn’t realize they could taste this good! We had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and CANOLLI cream filling which was AMAZING! I honestly still crave it to this day! We added our own little doggie figurines to our cake, and it looked perfect when displayed at our wedding! We skipped the cake tasting because we ran out of time but honestly, we didn’t need it! Palermo’s delivered a PERFECT wedding cake for us, and it exceeded our expectations the day of our wedding! I 100% recommend you utilize Palermo’s Bakery for your Wedding Cake and honestly any of your other cake needs for your special events! -

Our cake came with our venue package which is great and they give some great options. I wanted to add something extra to mine and it came out beautifully. The flavors are so good as well!! The carrot cake flavor is my favorite! I just had to add that on additionally! -

Our venue offered a wedding cake from Palermo's through their package, and we were so excited to learn of this! Palermo's Little Ferry location is only a few minutes away from one of our family's houses, so it was really easy to go visit and pick up a cake tasting box from them. We loved so many of the flavors, but we ended up paying a small upgrade fee to go with the Mango Mousse and Blueberry Cheesecake flavors. Both were amazing flavors, and our guests raved about how unique, delicious those were for our wedding cake! The cake itself was also simply beautiful, and exactly what we envisioned. Palermo's did such an amazing job, and Leigh Ann was wonderful to work with in the planning process of it! She made sure that Mike's chocolate allergy was taken seriously both with the cake tasting box and with the final product of our wedding cake itself. We've actually already ordered a (non-wedding) cake for Thanksgiving and chose to go with the Mango Mousse again, because it was such a hit! -

Our venue included the cake from Palermo's Bakery and we are so grateful they did. We were able to have a large tasting box, where we narrowed down to two amazing flavors, cookies and cream and dulce de leche. We were able to make a phone consultation with the bakery and asked if they could do the cake included plus upgrades, they were extremely receptive. My husband sent them a drawing of what he wanted via email along with everything else and they certainly did not disappoint! Everyone loved the design of the cake and it was perfectly done. We got married outside on a damp, rainy day, but the cake held up and the inside was still fantastic. We truly couldn't be happier with the design and flavors and we highly recommend Palermo's for a wedding cake, or just any cake! -

We were able to sample cakes from two bakeries with our venue and we were blown away by Palermos! The take home box was such a fun touch as we were able to invite family over to try all the different flavors. We decided on the French Raspberry and could not believe how amazing it was day of! All of our guests are still asking where we got it. We didn’t add anything crazy and went with a really simple and elegant design and they delivered beautifully. We are planning on ordering the top tier of the cake again on our anniversary since it was too good we ate it all instead of freezing! -

Best cake ever!
Our venue (The Hyatt Regency Jersey City) included a cake from Palermo’s and we are so happy they did! The entire process from the tasting to design and delivery is incredibly simple. The at home tasting box has so many delicious flavors we had such a fun/hard time choosing! We decided on cannoli and our guests were raving about it! We paid an up charge fee to add some metallic to the cake (we included an inspo picture from Pinterest with the order) and it came out perfect! We can’t wait to come back each year for our anniversary! -

We had a very smooth process with Palermo’s, they were partnered with our venue David’s Country Inn, so that’s what we went with. We picked up our cake tasting box and brought it home for tasting. Honestly, we didn’t love any flavors when we tried them, so we went with the safe flavors, and non-extra cost flavors cannoli cream with vanilla cake and chocolate fudge with chocolate cake. Placing the order online was super easy, we were no muss no fuss, and didn’t need any design help, we just went with the naked cake because I loved the look. The cake was really good wedding day! We really enjoyed it, maybe tasting we didn’t because they were frozen? But no complaints! -

Cake was absolutely delicious. Bakery met my expectations very well and created my perfect cake. Basket was included in my wedding venue package so I didn’t have to pay separately for our wedding cake. We only paid for a specific design that was not included in the package but it was only $50. My vision was simple but elegant and it fit perfectly with my winter wonderland wedding theme. I especially loved the fact that I was able to select 2 different cake flavors for each tier. Very nicely done. Thank you. -

Our cake was included from our venue but we would have still went with Palermo's if we did have to pick! The cake tasting was so easy, just pop by and pick up a pre arranged box of all the cake flavors. There were so many good ones but we ended up going with the Chocolate Pudding, French Raspberry and Dulce de Leche which were all so delicious! Highly recommend them for any event but especially a wedding as their cake design was spot on! -

Our venue, Seasons Catering, partners with Palermo Bakery and we could not have been more pleased with the result. Picking up a cake tasting box was super easy- my fiancé just walked in and picked it up without having to call ahead or any hassle and we had the best night at home making a date night out of cake testing! All of our communication with them was via e-mail and they were incredibly responsive and EASY to work with. We chose a cake that was in the included package, a design we had seen on their website, and it was probably the easiest part of our wedding planning process. The cake day of was DELICIOUS and absolutely perfect. Our florist added fresh flowers to it and really pulled the whole look together. I can't recommend Palermo Bakery enough for so many reasons- easy to work with, professional, responsive, and a delicious and gorgeous cake. -

Palermo’s came with our venue, but the cake tasting really sealed the deal for us in selecting them. The testing came with 16 samples, and every one of them was honestly delicious. We ended up going with the “dulce de leche” flavor, and it was definitely the right choice. My husband is not a huge cake person, and even he said it was incredible. Our cake came out gorgeous, and they were a pleasure to work with. -

Palermo's is amazing!!! They work with our wedding venue; so they were suggested to us. I LOVED their cake tasting (due to Covid they provide you with a take home box of all their wedding cake flavors). It was deliciously amazing and I am a lover of all things, cake, cupcake, etc. I did want to go with their Dulce de Leche but I let my husband be the deciding factor (he's not a cake person who likes many different flavors especially when there isn't ice cream to go with it). He loves pretty much everything Oreo or cookies n cream, so I left it to him and we went with the Oreo. It was very tasty and was in the top 3. I made a lot of wedding decisions so I let him have this one. Wasn't disappointed and neither were our guests. Thank you Palermo's! -

I got married at The Liberty House so our Palermo's cake was included in the package. We got two different flavors: vanilla with french cream and raspberry marmalade, and upgraded ($40 extra) for funfetti bomb cake and it was so worth it. The cake was delicious and not dry, and several of my bridesmaids told me afterwards that they were looking around for more slices since it was so good! Palermo's was also so stress-free to work with since they got the change of wedding date (due to covid) and the final guest count directly from Liberty House, so I didn't have to keep following up with them and everything was still perfect. -

When I went to look for my dress the staff there could not have been better. We were not rushed at all and they were completely respectful of the budget we said we wanted to work with. When I originally tried on the dress I did not like it because it seemed large because it was not clipped in enough. When I tried it a second time they brought another person into the fitting room to really clip it is as fitted as possible an I loved it and chose it. I did not look anywhere else. They assigned Irene to do my alterations and she was wonderful. So sweet and personable and really took the time to listen to what I wanted adjusted while giving me her professional insight. She spent time with my mother and sister helping them with how to easily do the buttons and all of the bustle placements. My dress is EXACTLY what I had in mind and the overall experience I had with both Irene and the sales team was A+. -

Our wedding cake not only looked amazing, it was SO DELICIOUS!! I got so many compliments on the cake from guests. Our venue works with both Palermo's and Calandra's however, Calandra's tasted like cardboard compared to Palermo's. It was a no-brainer for us PLUS they were very professional, organized, and communicated with us through the whole process. Go with Palermo's!! So delicious! -

Palermo's exceeded our expectations with how beautiful and tasty our cake was. It was so good that we decided to keep the top layer and bring it with us to our mini-moon in Newport. Palermo''s did an amazing job with both my wedding cake (December 2019) and bridal shower cake (September 2019). I was not involved with coordinating my shower cake, but it turned out beautiful and was so delicious. I was very pleased and so were my guests.
My wedding cake was original and so flavorful.
Ariel was wonderful to work with and everything from the initial communication, to the cake tasting, to the day of the wedding was smooth and seamless. My husband and I were so happy, and I would highly recommend them for any occasion. -

I got married Nov 10, 2019. We were fortunate to have them do our cake thanks to Florentine Gardens. What a deal that was! Beautifully and delicious cake! Aside from some email correspondence, the transaction was very smooth. They delivered exactly as discussed and promised. The add-ons were extremely reasonable. On the different note, after our wedding, on a different occasion, we bought pastries and cakes from them and they are very reasonable for the quality you get. -

Wonderful Cakes!
The cake tasting was one of the most fun parts of planning the wedding. My mom and I had such a great time going to their bakery and trying a whole array of cakes, I couldn’t believe all the options they let us taste! They had a beautiful display of cakes around us, served us coffee, and let us bring in a half bottle of bubbly to try with the cakes. Unfortunately my then fiancé could not attend the cake tasting but they not only gave us a huge to go tray with cakes (including cakes we didn’t choose but loved tasting), they also sent the same large selection for my dad when my mom returned to NH.
We worked with Leigh Ann at Palermo. She was wonderful, very accommodating and knew exactly the vision we wanted. We ordered both a wedding cake and grooms cake. The cakes on the day of the wedding were absolutely gorgeous and delicious. My husband LOVED his grooms cake so much. We ended up not saving our cake topper because we live in NYC and loved the cakes so much we plan on ordering a small version of our cakes for our anniversary. Delicious & pretty
Our wedding cake was delicious and it was exactly what we wanted! A simple and classic design with some fresh flowers. Amazing Experience!!
We had an amazing experience with Palermos! Our cake tasting session was truly a great memory in itself! We met with Olga, who was so kind, patient, friendly, and helpful! She created a custom sketch of our cake design for us based on exactly what we wanted, right in front of us as we tasted flavors! The classic, elegant cake we wanted was executed beautifully, and tasted so great!! We can't wait to enjoy our top tier on our first anniversary!!

We used Palermo Bakery for our 11/16/19 wedding and everything from start to finish was great. The wedding cake tasting was hands down my favorite part of wedding planning haha. They had a great selection of cakes.....They were all so delicious it was hard to choose. They had a great selection of styles and we were able to stay within the wedding cake budget our venue gave us which was great. The women who did the consultation was pleasant, efficient and really helped us decide on the wedding cake color and style. Our cake was definitely a highlight of our wedding day. The cake was included with our venue (Olde Mill Inn), but we still got to create our perfect wedding cake. The tasting was so much fun and we tried literally every flavor under the sun, every single one was delicious. We picked a vanilla cake with French Vanilla frosting with Raspberry jelly for 2 of our tiers and chocolate with dulce de leche frosting for the others. It was so delicious, all of our guests commented on how great the cake tasted. It also looked absolutely stunning, 4 triers of ivory with beautiful piping and covered in buttercream roses of different shades of pink and burgundy. Our tasting was last weekend and was a great experience. I am a sweets-lover so I was really looking forward to this. Patricia met with us and served approx 18 different varieties, along with a cup of coffee. One was better than the next! She showed us some examples both online and in the restaurant. We also brought pictures with us and she was able to accommodate our vision. We were there for approx 40 minutes and our cake is now ordered. Great quality and artistry of cakes and professionalism. Our wedding cake from Palermo's Bakery was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, we had a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone getting married! We met with Olga for our tasting, who was very knowledgable, professional, and personable. We got to taste test so any different flavors and icings - go hungry because there is so much to try and it all tastes so good. Olga drew up a rough draft of what our cake would look like and it was pretty much exactly how it turned out to be. Our cake was included with the venue but when we went for our cake tasting we ended up upgrading and adding layers to it. The process was super easy, our consultant was very friendly and helpful in designing our cake. We created the entire design during our consultation and then had our florist add the real flowers to the design. The small piece of cake I had at the wedding tasted amazing, wish I had more! We ended up going with Palermo's because they were a partner of our venue Seasons Catering and Special Events. They were incredibly helpful with the choices and the cake was delivered in perfect shape. Everything was done over the phone which was nice seeing as our busy schedules didn't allow us to come in for a meeting. I used Palermo’s for my wedding cake and I was so blown away!! I was so torn between which bakery to use and I’m so happy I used them!! It was BEAUTIFUL and so grand with 4 tiers.
My grandma called me the next day and said that she does not like cake, but this was the best cake she’s ever had! She even wanted 2 slices!
Thank you Palermo’s!! I can’t wait until one year from now so that I can eat the cake again!!

Palermo’s was probably the easiest part of planning. We met with Vanessa at our consultation and she worked with my husband to design our cake. My mother, who loves cake and had tried their samples at bridal shows, was skeptical of their quality. However, at the wedding she was completely floored by the taste as was my husband, who typically hates cake. My wedding venue partners with a few bakeries and I'm so happy we chose Palermo's! They have a separate area upstairs for cake tasting so every couple is provided a pleasant atmosphere when meeting with a consultant. The tasting was amazing, we tried about 20-25 different cake flavors that were all presented to us on a three tiered dessert rack. We ending up choosing "Dulce de Leche" (caramel) and all our guests absolutely loved it! Our consultant Leighann showed us many cake designs and helped us create a beautiful wedding cake that had white spackled frosting with fuchsia shell trim. The cake was exactly what I had imagined and still tasted amazing 1 week out. I'd definitely work with Palermo's again in a heartbeat - thanks so much for all your help :) -
