10/10 Wedding Experience!

We had our wedding here at Padonia this month, and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were so kind and accommodating, especially our coordinator, Julianna. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and truly brought my vision to life. The way she handled the decorations was incredible, and she was such a joy to work with throughout the entire process. Julianna was patient, understanding, and attentive to every little detail — even ones we hadn’t thought of. She played a huge part in making our day so special. 10/10 recommend Padonia and Julianna!

Exceeded Expectations!

I have an 85-year old mother who couldn't travel so I was unable to have my dream wedding on a beach in the Bahamas but Padonia provided the next best possible alternative with their Lakeside Gazebo and it was an amazing venue! I live in Texas and had to do most of the planning for the wedding and reception virtually but in every interaction, the Padonia team gave me confidence that what I envisioned for my wedding would be executed, and they delivered! They listened to what was most important to me but they also shared the learnings from their experience with what worked and what didn't so that I could make the best choices for my wedding. My ~100 guests had to moved from a parking lot to the Lakeside Gazebo and from there to the indoor ballroom for the reception, and the Padonia team made sure all of the logistics went off without a hitch. The food and drink were excellent but even more important to me, every single Padonia staff was service-focused and created an amazing experience for my guests. A special shout out to Tyler who executed the day-of events!

Perfect Location for a Vow renewal

My husband and I attended a wedding here last spring and it was beautiful. Since we never had a wedding of our own, we decided to plan our vow renewal here next year. It’s perfectly located for all of our family and friends.

We had an amazing experience with Padonia Park Club for our fall wedding. Our ceremony was held by the lake it was all executed as planned and our event coordinator Remy as well as the rest of the team were great in making sure our special day went smoothly. The food was great from cocktail hour to dinner time. Our guests were also amazed with the venue and received many compliments on the overall experience.

Awesome Experience

I enjoyed touring the padonia park club. The venue had a beautiful outdoor ceremony area with plenty of space. They also had a lake that would be perfect for bridal pictures. The reception room had a flawless paint job with an indoor bar built in. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Great Wedding Venue!

Sarah and the team at Padonia Park Club did an amazing job planning, arranging and executing the ceremony and reception. Everything was smooth from the beginning and the communication was great leading up to the wedding and during the rehearsal/wedding day. The ceremony by the lake was beautiful and the lakeside ballroom was an wonderful spot for the reception. The service on the day of the wedding went above and beyond. The food was outstanding, the guests loved the appetizers and the dinner was delicious. The team really helped make our wedding day special. Thanks!

Sarah is the queen!

I am at a loss of words to describe how amazing Sarah has been to work with. From the beginning till the day of, she has been super flexible, understanding and everything you would want in your wedding coordinator.
She guided us throughout the process and helped us with each and every step. On the day of, she took care of literally everything and I did not have to think once about any coordination or about any arrangements. We are super happy and lucky to share our most memorable day with Padonia staff!

Padonia Park Club was the first, and best, venue we found!! It was beautiful, even when we moved our ceremony to the pavilion in the rain, and the food was wonderful! Lauren and team were so nice and helpful in the planning process. It's super helpful that they provide all the linens, in a variety of colors, and everything you would need for a centerpiece (although we only used their mirrors). Our wedding was fabulous and fun, all with the help of Padonia Park Club!

I had my wedding reception in Padonia Park Club’s Lakeside Ballroom on June 30, 2018. From start to finish, the coordinators were so helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make the day exactly how I wanted it. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the room exactly what I needed. My guests were so impressed with this hidden gem of a wedding venue, I cannot recommend them enough.

We had our wedding here 6/23/18. I cannot say enough about the venue, the food and our coordinator Lauren. From our very first meeting, until the end of our wedding everything was above and beyond all of our dreams. Appetizers to the entrées were very very delicious. Lauren Dise and the Padonia Park staff were absolutely fantastic to work with!! The ballroom was spacious, elegantly decorated, and allowed us to add our personal touch to the decor. The reception packages were well constructed to be affordable, yet tasty and elegant. Our guests all raved about their meals, the hor d'oeuvres, and the butlered service. They serve food to the bride and groom first, which allowed us to actually eat on our wedding day. ;) The park provides tables, chairs, chair covers, and table linens, napkins, and practically everything else needed for a reception in a variety of colors to match your wedding vision (other venues may require you to provide these things, which can get expensive). You don't have to be a member of the club to reserve the ballroom for your event, and they don't charge for things like cake-cutting. Lauren took the time to meet with us personally to carefully plan out the event details and answer all of our questions. She is a great communicator, both in person and over email. All-in-all, my wife and I were able to go into our wedding day without having to stress about the reception because of Lauren's efforts. We could just sit back, relax, and enjoy the celebration for all that it was. We love Padonia Park Club, and we highly recommend it to everyone looking to plan their wedding!!! Thank you, Lauren and staff!! :)

The entire staff was smiling and polite making the evening even more enjoyable for everyone. The food was very tasty and served quickly. The event manager, Lauren, was on top of everything, making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. She seemed to always be happy, solving the few small hiccups (the weather and whatnot) quickly and with a smile.

Working with Lauren at Padonia Park Club was a fantastic experience. She was friendly and could not have been easier to work with. She made sure I had nothing to worry about in terms of the venue and food. The venue was perfect for the size of our party and I loved the unique look of the room with the vaulted ceiling above the dance floor. The ability to choose the color of the lights in the room and in the foyer helped add to the atmosphere. Everyone was raving about the food. I could not be more pleased that we chose Padonia Park Club as our venue.

The best choice! We booked Padonia Park Club as our venue 2 years in advance for our wedding. The day we went to visit was overcast and rainy, yet the site was so pretty. On the beautiful day of our wedding it was even more gorgeous. Lauren and the team went above and beyond and everything was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, set up was so pretty and Lauren instantly felt like a friend to us and coordinated the day flawlessly. If anything went wrong, I had no idea. I will recommend Padonia Park again and again!

My husband and I are so glad we picked Padonia Park Club for our wedding. With Lauren's help, our wedding reception was everything we had hoped it could be. Lauren helped us at every part of the planning process, from logistical concerns to simply helping brainstorm ideas. They were very flexible when it came to several emergency last minute changes to our guest list, and really went above and beyond when it came to special traditions (our Pittsburgh cookie table), our DIY centerpieces, and our lightsaber exit.

The food was excellent. We chose a steak and chicken option, which all of our guests enjoyed. The vegetarian option was chef's choice, and our vegetarian family members couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. Lauren also stayed with us on our big day, and made sure my husband and I had everything we needed in order to enjoy our party!

If you are looking for a wedding venue, I highly recommend that you contact Padonia Park Club and set up a visit.

We honestly could not have been happier with our wedding at Padonia Park Club. Event manager, Lauren was AMAZING, super organized and our wedding went off without any issues! The grounds are beautiful and worked out well for all of our pictures. We got married at the gazebo and then went up to the ballroom for our reception which worked out extremely well. We had our wedding in July and Padonia was the perfect place to host our wedding. The gazebo on the lake made a beautiful place for us to have our ceremony and gather family for pictures. We went to Lauren with an idea on how we wanted to set up the ballroom for the reception and the end result was more than we could have expected. The food was absolutely delicious! Our guest have not stopped praising the food, venue, and the whole night which is a true testament to how great Lauren and the Padonia staff were.

Lauren was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond what we wanted and needed. Lauren responded quickly to all my emails and was very flexible in meeting with us for planning when we were in town since we were from out of town. She made sure everything we asked for happened without a hitch. Lauren was also great with my family whose own enthusiasm may have gotten carried away! We couldn’t have asked for anything more or imagined anything better than the day we had at Padonia for our wedding! Thank you so much Lauren and Padonia!

As the parents of the bride, we cannot praise the staff at Padonia Park Club enough for creating a wedding celebration that exceeded our expectations. From the moment we began the whole planning process with Lauren Dise, the dedicated and talented event coordinator, to the magnificent wedding day, no question was too large or small, no request not considered graciously and promptly, and no detail overlooked. Lauren made the entire process run flawlessly and did it all with a smile. Lauren was also terrific with all of our vendors, who personally remarked to us what a pleasure it was to work with her. We can't praise Lauren enough for her expertise and guidance and all her behind the scenes work which resulted in a spectacular and STRESS FREE wedding day! From appetizers to entrees, the food at Padonia was outstanding - fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious, even better than what we had sampled. A lakeside gazebo allowed for truly gorgeous wedding party photos, and the outside pavilion and ballroom were perfect for the outdoor ceremony, cocktail reception, then dinner and dancing. Our guests remarked over and over what a truly fantastic wedding celebration we had - Padonia Park is a gem. Value, class, professionalism, quality... all delivered with heart.

My husband and I had an amazing day, in part because of Padonia and it's staff. We enjoyed working with Lauren, our Padonia coordinator, and were able to get everything we wanted for a great price. Having the catering packaged with the venue made for a very low stress day, and the food was delicious. The appetizers were amazing and I could not have been happier with the vegetarian meal. We had an April wedding and reception here with around 90 guests. Outdoor location was beautiful, and it was nice to know that there was a backup location (pavilion) in case it rained.

The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and helpful. We worked with Lauren, who was extremely organized and helpful from day one.

Padonia Park Club was very accommodating, allowing us to move the ceremony and reception earlier than the usual time, and responding to issues such as food allergies.

The big day could not have gone better. Lauren coordinated with the DJ, photographer, etc. beforehand, allowing for a perfectly smooth ceremony and reception. The food was excellent, as noted by many of our guests.

Overall, the pricing was competitive with other venues and caterers that we looked into, and we were blown away by the service we received.

I can not recommend this place highly enough, I truly tell every person I meet about how wonderful it was. Matt and Megan were both a complete joy to work with and made the whole process a thousand times easier and were genuinely interested in making sure I had the wedding I wanted. We stumbled across it on here, on a fluke because all of the venues I could find were far too expensive. When we first arrived, I got out of the car and told my (then) fiance that this is where we were getting married, before we even met Matt or saw the inside of the ballroom. The view at the lake is spectacular and makes for beautiful pictures and a grand entrance that we took full advantage of. The ballroom is also stunning with plenty of room for both a seated dinner and cocktail tables and an outdoor balcony. The worrier I am, I sent probably hundreds of e-mails back and forth while we were planning and everyone was amazing at responding quickly and helping me make the best choices for our ceremony/ reception. The day of the wedding, Megan was such a joy. I can't speak highly enough of her. She is a coordinating genius. Helped us smooth over some snafus with people running late and made any issues disappear before I even noticed them. After the ceremony, she was already waiting in the bridal suite asking if we needed drinks or food and was very prompt in filling any requests. The food they provided was amazing, I'm still hearing about how great the crab cakes and the appetizers were. The night after the wedding, we were already discussing how if we had another large party or gathering, we would go back there in a heartbeat. I truly wish I had an excuse to use their services again because of how easy and wonderful they were to work with. We had a very "offbeat" wedding and the night was very fluid with few stops for traditional activities and everyone took it in stride in such a way that none of the guests realized we didn't toss the garter or cut the cake. They earned 100/100 from us

I could not have found a better place to host my wedding. Padonia Park is beautiful, inviting, spacious, and clean. Padonia Park has multiple options as far as ceremony and reception locations that are all on their own property. The staff is so friendly and willing to help in any way. On our initial visit to Padonia, we met with Bre and she was as friendly and helpful as could be. She met with us on multiple occasions and worked around my insane work schedule. Bre is very talanted and very good at what she does. She was my backbone through the entire planning process. When my husband and I learned that Bre was ordained, we knew right then that she was meant to marry us. With a lot of the large decisions made, Megan was able to put every other detail into place. Megan, who is also talanted, is also very creative and helpful. She made sure everything was the way I had wanted it. Even down to the placement of the smallest of decorations that she kindly helped my aunts set up the morning of the wedding. I couldn't have been blessed with 2 more wonderful women to help me with my wedding. My wedding was picture perfect, and quite stress thanks to all of their help. The additional staff that joined Bre and Megan the day of the wedding were just as polite, professional and friendly as everyone else we encountered through the entire process. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Over a year later, I am still getting compliments on our wedding. The overall price was so affordable, while the value was priceless. Thank you Padonia Park for your excellent service and for making my wedding day perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend Padonia Park Club to anyone looking for a beautiful, decently priced, professional, and flexible venue.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED Padonia Park Club. We couldn't have asked for a better, more affordable venue for our wedding. Our guests raved about the venue, the food, and the service. We had guests with disabilities, so we loved that Padonia was easily wheelchair accessible. Megan and Bre were professional and approachable. I felt so confident knowing that Megan would be there on my wedding day to help! If you need an amazing venue, I highly recommend Padonia!

Excellent staff that is ready to work with you to build your ceremony and reception just the way you want it and the day of they make sure that everything goes smoothly.

They offer a great menu and good value. All of our guests had a great time and we could not be have been happier

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful and memorable wedding wedding at padonia park. We started very late- around two months prior. In such a rush, Megan and Bre helped us setting up everything in a prompt. We switched to indoor two days before the wedding, but everything was adjusted smoothly. We were greatly surprised that how much Megan would do for us. Honestly, she did a much better job than all the other coordinators I have heard. I highly recommend padonia as your wedding place.

Bre and Megan were great! In the beginning Bre helped with booking our wedding day, walked us through the site giving us ideas and she helped us pick our menu. Then she handed us over to the coordinator, Megan who was extremely helpful. She gave us ideas, met with us on a couple of occasions to go over the details of our big day. She was very prompt in responding to emails. And on the rehearsal and day of Megan fulfilled all of our special requests and was there to make sure everything went smoothly, and it did! The food was delicious and got a lot of compliments from our guests. After shopping venues for a few months I think this place has the best value. The scenery is beautiful, customer service and food is great, with this place you can have your cake and eat it too for a good price!

Padonia Park Club made our wedding dreams come true! I try to keep my vendor reviews short, sweet, and to the point, but there is just SO much to share about this unbelievable venue.

We had a very small budget for our entire wedding and feared that we might not be able to find a venue we could afford, let alone one that we even liked. My fiance and I began researching and discovered Padonia Park Club. It was exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful gazebo overlooking a large pond for an outdoor ceremony, a lovely grand ballroom for the indoor reception, on-site catering... and clearly, they were able to work within our budget.

In addition to the many beautiful, affordable ceremony and reception locations within the club, the catering is top-notch, and the staff is amazing, especially the on-site wedding coordinator they provide. After setting up the initial details and deposits with Bre Williams (who is awesome), we were introduced to Megan Amico (also awesome). She was so attentive and responsive throughout the entire planning process making sure every last detail was in order. On the day of the wedding, Megan was helping with the preparations and working with all of my vendors to ensure setup went perfectly.

The ceremony and reception were flawless, and the food was absolutely delicious! Padonia Park Club offered us a buffet-style bull roast menu to work within our budget and provide the backyard BBQ feel we wanted during the reception. Our guests are still telling us how good the food was!

And don't let me forget the wedding photo opportunities! So many different, easily accessible areas on the property to take your photos.

No matter how large or small the budget, look no further for your venue - Padonia Park Club is it!

When my daughter and I first visited Padonia Park we were so impressed with the decor of the Lakeside Ballroom and the beauty of the property. Little did we know how impressed we were going to be with the rest of the package. At our first meeting, Bre had a packet of information for us, complete with lots of useful information, including even the little details like how long the railing to the ballroom is in case we wanted to decorate it. Megan kept us on track with decisions and deadlines, which I really needed. Her attention to detail is to be commended. Nothing was overlooked. I really felt like she made it her mission to keep me worry free. Megan made sure that the ballroom looked fabulous when we arrived. She even blew up our balloons and placed them around for us! She stayed for the whole event, working hard to make it a perfect evening for everyone. The food was superb, the wait staff was so professional and very attentive, and I can't forget to mention William, the bartender. He was so much fun to talk to and has a real gift of mixology! All in all, we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Our guests were so impressed- a big thank you to everyone at Padonia Park for making us look so good! A very important last note- the venue is spacious and completely wheelchair accessible, making it enjoyable and easy for everyone.

Padonia Park was a wonderful venue for my son's graduation party. The food was fabulous and the staff very attentive. I would recommend Padonia Park to anyone looking for a stress free event. They handled everything, perfectly!

I can't say enough about Padonia Park Club for how happy we were with the whole process. My daughter got married at the Lakeside Gazebo and the reception was in the Lakeside ballroom. We had 140 guests and had the seared sirlion with red wine reduction sauce with roasted potatoes and the Chicken was serviced with a cream sauce over bow tie pasta. The appetizers were very tasty also. The jambalaya tarts appetizers were to die for.

The entire wedding planning was a long drawn out process that was chocked with tons of decisions, questions, and options that were overwhelming for a first time wedding plan that we were responbile for. However, Bre and Megan were always providing ideas and were always available. We asked alot of questions which all were promptly answered and professionally. Bre and Megan were very flexible on so many topics and ideas that it felt like we were truley the only wedding event they have and it felt so personal.

The entire staff were professional and were interested in their jobs and not just there watching the clock like I have seen at some other weddings. Will the bartender is a very friendly guy who made you feel welcome.

The ambiance of the Lakeside Gazebo wedding as well as the Lakeside ballroom reception was very charming and quaint. The Lakeside Gazebo wedding ceremony was at 5:30 PM and the natural lighting from the sun enhanced the setting as well as the photos. The meandering walkway for the bridal party down the slightly wooded hill made for such a beautiful entrance into the wedding ceremony.

The quality of every aspect was top notch and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to check them out.

Padonia Park Club was able to help us have the exact type of Bar Mitzvah we wanted for our son. Bre answered all of our questions and helped us see what the possibilities were for the venue. Megan was responsive, efficient, and quick to help whenever we needed it. We received lots of compliments after the service and luncheon, but the credit belongs to PPC. We would absolutely recommend this vendor to anyone interested in a quality event.

This was a beautiful venue! Megan made the Lakeside Ballroom magical with her décor. The food was phenomenal! Megan was a very attentive and responsive planner- she put our minds at ease from the first moment we met. The wait-staff and bartenders were professional and courteous. Having a reception here was all-inclusive. All the details were taken care of, with no added hidden costs (ie. cake cutting - included). Thank you for making our day so memorable!

Selecting Padonia Park was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. They were able and happy to accommodate every request we had for our reception. We had many special requests and they worked with us to completely customize our day. Everyone at Padonia Park was very easy going and was so flexible and willing to help.

All the food was delicious; the beer and liquor selection was above and beyond what we had hoped for originally. We worked specifically with Bre Williams and Megan Amico and they are both fabulous. I felt very secure knowing Megan and the entire team at Padonia Park would make sure our day went smooth.

The location and surrounding land was so beautiful and made the perfect backdrop for our pictures. The pictures inside turned out great too. You really cannot find a better total package than Padonia Park!

I just recently held my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception at Padonia Park. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for a place for any special event. The staff is very professional, organized and easy to deal with. All of my guests commented on how GOOD the food was and how beautiful the wedding was. Padonia Park Club did an awesome job. Our wedding was absolutely fabulous. Megan Amico really took the time to take care of us prior to our wedding. Whenever we needed something or had a question, she always was responsive and quick! Everything was beautiful and we received so many compliments on our wedding. The food was amazing and we are still being told by guests how delicious it was. My husband and I were married at the Lakeside Gazebo and it was incredibly beautiful. There were a few hiccups with another wedding’s guests that happened during our reception but nothing major. Thank you, Padonia Park Club, for such a fabulous event and a night to always remember! EXCELLENT VENUE! The food was great, Megan was AWESOME! Everything went off great! We just had our wedding at Padonia Park Club 06-22-2013. We had a carnival themed wedding, so we had a lot of extra goodies which came along with the theme. The staff was so accommodating and flexible with bringing and cleaning up our carnival games, prizes, and everything else. I'm a bit of a bargain bride and after a lot of research we found that the venue was very affordable. Another satisfied customer! I would recommend Padonia Park Club to any bride!

I worked with Megan and Bre, they were both outstanding! Everyone was very helpful! The food was great and they try their best to make your special day just that much better! I wasn't one of those over-controlling bridzillas but I did have questions along the way that were immediately answered and they were always flexible with me on how I could decorate or when we could show up to get ready. I wish I had more reasons to go there because the price if so fantastic for everything you get and it's so beautiful by the lake!(the groomsmen even snuck up and used the zipline :))

I had a casual country barbeque themed wedding reception planned and the outdoor pavilion was the perfect setting for my reception. I painstakingly potted over 100 containers of flowers and purchased straw bales and rustic decorations for the reception. Megan ordered red checked tablecloths and everything was ready to go. NOT!!! Mother Nature did not get the "outdoor" part of the reception plan and rain was forecast for my wedding day. With less than 48 hours to go, we decided to relocate the reception to the ballroom for the comfort of my guests, but I was a little concerned about the placement of all the decorations as the ballroom configuration was much different than the outdoor pavilion. And I had no time to work it out. I left the decorating in the hands of the Padonia staff and they did a fabulous job. The room looked great, the ambiance was perfect, and the food wonderful. My guests had a great time and the reception was held without a hitch, despite the thunder, lightning and downpours! I would recommend Padonia to anyone looking to book a wedding reception or other event.

My husband and I are SO glad that we chose Padonia Park Club as our wedding venue!! The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. We had a lot of very specific requests and they were continually able to meet our special requests. On the day of the wedding there were plenty of staff on hand and I never had to look far if I needed anything. The location was beautiful and we used the pavilion, gazebo and ballroom. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing and we couldn't have asked for more!! We would highly recommend Padonia Park Club to anyone who asked!!

I cannot stress how great of a wedding venue Padonia Park Club is! Every single interaction that I had (from booking the venue to planning the wedding with their coordinator) was exceptional. After booking the venue, you are assigned a personal wedding coordinator who is amazing. She made, what i thought would be extremely stressful, not stressful at all. She does everything for you and keeps you up to date as you get closer to your wedding date. The service of all employees on the day of the wedding was amazing. Everyone was so professional and grateful to be hosting the wedding.

The prices were by far the most affordable that I was quoted. I am not sure how other places can charge as much as they do considering how wonderful and perfect of a job they did with our wedding.

The venue itself is beautiful and I was able to get the most amazing pictures in front of their lake.

I will continue to recommend everyone to Padonia.

When I first saw the lakeside ballroom, I was unsure if it would be what I was picturing for our wedding reception. However, once we added uplighting and other touches, it became exactly what I had wanted. It was our dream wedding!!!

Wow!! We had our wedding at Padonia Park Club on 5/20/2018. Every step of the way they made the wedding planning process easier. Lauren met with us as many times as we needed to help us solidify our ideas and eased our nerves leading up to the big day. On the day-of, she made sure everything went exactly as we planned and even helped us set up all our decorations and organize all of our vendors. My only complaint was the remainder of our wedding cake ended up being thrown out. Otherwise we absolutely had the wedding of our dreams and recommend Padonia Park Club to anyone getting married. You'll be so happy you chose them!!

Choosing a venue is one of the most difficult decisions when planning a wedding. My husband and I chose Padonia Park Club because of the scenery, the value, and ability to be outside. This venue is unique in that its a functional swim club with a few pools, a lake with paddle boats, and 30 acres of lush grounds. When you first enter, you wonder if your wedding will be as special as you thought because of all of the different things happening at the club. However, the staff and your wedding coordinator (assigned to you for your wedding day) will transform this venue into all that you imagined.

Megan, our wedding coordinator, was so flexible and listened to every idea and concern we had thoughtfully and was able to provide us quick and reasonable responses. We were pleased with the amount of choices we had in terms of menus, linens, alcohol packages and extras. We were also pleased with the value we received. In comparing Padonia to other venues, we were able to get much more (i.e. a seated dinner and a premium bar) for the same price. We were very pleased with the food, as were our guests.

The venue is flexible with couples bringing in different extras, if you're not able to pay for the venue to provide them. We were able to bring in chair covers and some tulle for the ceremony site and the staff were extremely accommodating in allowing us to come and set up ahead of time. Be aware, though, that the venue has other events they hold-they don't just do weddings. So, there is a chance that if something is booked the day before your wedding, your time to decorate may be shorter. We were a little concerned when we were told that a picnic had been scheduled on the morning of our wedding (we got married at 6:30) and that we'd only be able to start decorating at 4:45. It made me really anxious! But, with some communication and some compromising, we were able to work out a plan that worked for our wedding and the other event.

Working with the group at Padonia Park Club felt like working with family. What I liked most (besides getting married by the lake) was the flexibility Padonia Park offered. I was looking for the perfect backdrop for my wedding where I could enhance it with personalized details. Matt, Bre, David, and Tamika worked very hard to accommodate my requests. Our wedding was as beautiful as I had envisioned. Our guests had a great time and the venue looked beautiful. The food was delicious and for a good price. They even worked with us to create a nacho and quesadilla bar for guests later in the evening. I would highly recommend Padonia Park for your event.

Friendly and Fun

We were very pleased with our experience when we had our reception at the Padonia Park Club ballroom. Sarah was professional and very easy to work with--she really made us feel that she was excited as we were about our wedding day, and met with us as many times as I needed to feel confident about the decor and food. The venue was a perfect size for our reception of 120 people, we could have probably put 150 and still have been comfortable.
The food was absolutely delicious! I can't say enough good things about it. Also, they were very accommodating with the fact that about half of our guests were vegetarian, and offered 3 entrees with the Cypress package without an extra charge--we had chicken, crab cake and mushroom ravioli, as well as kids' meals. The beer and wine package was good too. The only slight hiccup we noticed was that the food took a while to come out for the back tables, but none of our guests noticed, they were having a great time.
The dance floor is large and big enough for a crowd to be there. And the big picture windows in the front of the reception room are very elegant looking. We hardly had to decorate at all and everything looked beautiful. The room has been recently repainted and new flooring put in so it feels clean and new. Over all, I would definitely recommend Padonia Park.

The wedding coordinator, Lauren, was an excellent resource and guide. She took care of many of the details and was flexible when needed. She answered all of our questions (and we had many!) in a timely manner and did her best to ensure that our day was just as we planned. We are so glad we chose this venue, as we wanted a nice place to hold the ceremony and reception, but did not want to break the bank! You may also read the letter below, written by the bride's mother, to the wedding coordinator.

Dear Lauren,
I promised you a letter to let you know how much you personally contributed to our Karen's wedding. For someone of your young age, you certainly have it all together and know how to meet the needs of your clients. Mr. Musgrove really knew who to pick for this position when he picked you. When I asked Karen about different things, she always answered "Lauren is taking care of that" or "Lauren knows what to do." She was in very capable hands with you, since she had never planned a wedding before, but she herself is a very capable planner and likes when others are the same way. My husband and I have received so many compliments on her wedding, so maybe you will be getting business in the future. We certainly will recommend your place to others and let them know that the service was exceptional. I also think it was your recommendation about the florist and when I showed pictures to others they always commented on the beautiful flowers. You can be very proud of yourself for doing a GREAT job! I have been working for a LONG time and not everyone takes such pride in their jobs as you do. It was wonderful to have met you.

It was a breeze working with all the staff at Padonia Park. Everyone was more than willing to go out of their way to accommodate all my requests for the big day! The food was excellent, especially the appetizers. Having them served and not just buffet style adds a touch of class to the evening. All suggestions offered were welcome and some were brought into play to make it a beautiful day! I would highly recommend Padonia park to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding. The atmosphere, flowers, lakeside views and the ambience in the ballroom was perfect. Thanks!

When we first started our relationship with Padonia Park Club it was a little rocky to say the least, but in their defense the person that was handling our wedding was not qualified to do it efficiently. Well shortly after that she was let go and we were in the hand of Bre Williams, the young lady who essentially sold us on having our special day at Padonia. Bre Williams was awesome to work with. She definitely made it easy to go through the sometimes stressful process of planning our wedding. She made it her business to fix anything that we did not like. In the end we had a wonderful wedding that is still getting rave reviews. We can't thank them enough for working with us and helping to make our vision come true!!! We heard a lot of great things about the food as well so compliments to the chef!

My husband and I wanted an outdoor wiccan handfasting with seating in-the-round in the same venue as the reception. Not your typical request. We found a venue that was willing to accommodate us in all ways at Padonia Park Club.

Our venue provided planner was Allison and she was fantastic to work with. She got us set up with times, menus, helped co-ordinate with other vendors, plans for the reception hall, cocktail hour and wedding itself, and was generally a fun person to be around. In addition, the day OF the wedding, she was always there overseeing things and took care of any problems that cropped up like a glass of red wine spilled all over a table.

The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars across the board is that there are no real changing places for the bride AND groom. There is a great little room attached to the reception hall that can be used for the ladies (or men), but that means the other half of the wedding party has to change downstairs in the preschool or get dressed before they arrive at the venue. Pictures with the kid's finger painting in the background didn't appeal to my husband, so he and the other guys got dressed before they arrived.

But that was just about the only negative. There were so many good things.
1) the food was good - split plate of crab cakes and fillet mignon
2) the appetizers were incredible! - seared tuna, seafood tartlets, jam stuffed brie, and crudité display
3) they were willing to set up the chairs for the ceremony in a completely funky, untried way
4) bartenders were knowledgeable about most drinks and happy to whip up new ones
5) their provided planner - Allison - was so helpful and willing to guide us when we were clueless
6) they allowed us to set up and use their projector for no charge
7) and so many other things!

If you are looking for a nice, well-staffed venue without any built-in religious affiliations, I highly recommend you check out Padonia Park Club in Cockeysville, MD.

Our wedding ceremony and reception at Padonia Park Club was great. In the beginning I had trouble with the buffet we ordered and could not make any changes (even it was promised by Alisa R. Lonsdale) without an additional charge.This was very frustrating and I would never sign a contract before the tasting; however, Allison our Event Coordinator was awesome. Allison did an amazing job and made everything happen as we wanted it. Everyone loved the place and we had a great time. My next event will be again at Padonia Park Club with Allison as the Event Coordinator and I definitely recommend it as a wedding venue.

Great value for the price. I really liked the idea that we were the only venue at the location as compared to other catering halls. They have a lovely area for an outside wedding and the reception hall is right next to it. Great for having everything done at one place. It's not the most polished reception site, but with a good decorator and TLC you can really make it fabulous! They were really flexible with the menu and allowed me to customize and the food was great! Overall, I highly recommend them!

The employees loved the venue and services provided the Padi. The employees' children thoroughly enjoyed all the activities. Staff were accommodating and responsive to our needs.

Our company needed a bit more flexibility in the contract management and subsequent ticket distribution because of the complexities of our finance system and the extensive traveling of executives. All worked out favorably in the end.

Padonia recommendation

Love this swim club! So much land for our boys to run and plenty of pool options. Friends galore anytime, everyday! Fishing was a hit in our home last summer. Only recommendation- bar situation needs to change; more experienced bar tenders are needed that can handle the flow and a bar-like atmosphere is needed where a drink can be had while watching a sports game that is on the tvs (like it used to be at the bar). HIGHLY recommend Padonia!

We had an amazing night at Padonia Park Club. This venue is amazing, we knew when we came here this is where we wanted our reception to be. Even though Padonia Park is a place where many families go to swimming in the summer, there is a ballroom they use for receptions and other events.

The Pros:
1) We love the Ballroom. They have the ability to change the color of lighting, the brightness, they even have a projector where you can put up a powerpoint. We had our lights set to a dimmed blue, it really helped the atmosphere for the reception.
2) Their food is delicious, their appetizers are good, they have packages for alcohol or for different foods if you want to spend more for different selections.
3) We loved working with Lauren, she did an amazing job helping us decorate for our reception. When we needed something, we felt comfortable asking Lauren, she was completely cordial and professional.

The Cons:
1) We chose to have our wedding ceremony at a church because we didn't feel comfortable doing it by the lake since there are a bunch of families and kids at the swimming pool which you can see in the distance.
2) We had close to 130 guests, we didn't think parking would be an issue, but some families who were there to swim at the park were parked in the area for the lakeside ballroom. It made parking an issue since there were so few spots for the last guests who were arriving to the reception. In the future, we would ask Padonia Park to try and find some way to manage parking better.

We loved Padonia Park, we thought they offered fair prices and gave us a night we will never forget at their venue. There are so many great things about this venue should you choose it.

Shout out to Bre Williams and Megan Amico, they did an amazing job! They had all my pieces laid out perfectly, as a wedding planner myself at Koduah Creations Décor I was nervous finding some one to trust not to mention I live in Seattle and was planning the wedding in Maryland. But they put me at ease, Megan kept in touch with emails it was awesome. I had a power point presentation of all my details sent to her, and was in total SHOCK when I walked in that day and they had captured the moment way beyond our expectations! The site provided great sceneries for all our photos which gave our photographer lots of room to be creative, food was excellent says ALL our guest :) As I refer most of my Maryland clients there as a venue for their events, I do so with confidence because they did an amazing job with all the fine details of my wedding. Friendly staff with open minds. The venue has a great amount of space and just the perfect amount of privacy (given that there aren't two events going on at the same time.) My wedding planner (Sarah Park Events) did an awesome job of turning the outside venue into an elegant, whimsical and beautiful area. Before she did that, all I could picture was trees, tents, wooden planks and a lot of empty space. The staff at Padonia Park Club worked perfectly with me and my wedding planner to take the outdoor tents down and show flexibility. It was much appreciated and my wedding was perfect start to finish. Each year I have held the event at Padonia I received bad reviews about the food. This year I had people leave the event because they did not like the food. Personally, I do not like the food and know to eat before I come and make plans to eat immediately after. I will probably host the event at another venue next year because of the food.

My 2016 wedding at Padonia Park Club was a little shy of spectacular. Mostly because myself and my coordinator did most of the work. Padonia is a great place to have your wedding if you want the water and beautiful landscaping in your pictures. I found Padonia Park Club to be very affordable. They seemed very accommodating to my décor ideas and the theme of my wedding. The food tasting was awesome and the bartenders were great. My guest raved about our signature drink.

There was a lot of drama with Padoina Wedding Coordinators quitting the company in the middle of me planning the wedding. I was assigned a total of 3 coordinators. And each time it was like planning from scratch. This was very frustrating. No one seemed to read the notes of the previous coordinators and things that were approved I was constantly being told that's against policies but the previous coordinators ok'd it.

I was very disappointed in Padonia Park Club but my guest enjoyed my wedding. I received nothing but compliments on the food and décor (which I provided). I would recommend them to other brides but I would caution about having a outdoor ceremony it was very noisy and the parking was limited. Overall if I had to do it again I would still choose Padonia but would start with my hired wedding coordinator from day one. Please hire someone with your vision, not out to make money for Padonia. My guest enjoyed themselves and had no clue the behind the scenes drama and that's what matter most.

When I first went to look at Padonia Park Club and sat down with the consultant, I was very impressed, she was friendly, helpful, and very easy to talk to, and I was pretty much sold. After signing the contract and meeting with my event coordinator it just went downhill. She would take weeks to respond to my emails, she was over a half hour late for our second to last meeting. I was notified less than 2 weeks before my wedding by my new event coordinator that the previous one had quit. I remained positive because she seemed more professional than the last one. I found it strange that my Deejay was the one checking up on me throughout the course of the night and getting my drinks for me, while my coordinator leaned over the bar most of the night looking bored. I was told that my wedding would be the only event taking place that day, however they were having a bullroast under the pavilion located outside, and although it didn't interfere with the reception inside, it did interfere with the parking. I will say that the food was good, and the location is nice and so is the venue. It was also reasonably priced. I just hope in the future for the sake of other brides and their guests that they hire a more adequate event staff.

Don’t waste your money.

So many screw ups. I don’t even know where to begin. I’m furious. If it was just one thing, fine, I’ll deal. But for how much we paid, none of this crap should have happened.
For starters, and this one was minor but it’s going on the growing list - my flower girl never got her flowers for ceremony even though they were with bridesmaid bouquets and coordinator passed everything out. Not a crisis, but still on my list.
Next, coordinator was going to set up my video camera to record ceremony for me. I specifically said where to place it. She put it elsewhere and I got a lovely video of a guests BACK instead of myself and my husband. She was also going to set it in reception and hit record so I could have our dances and all on film. Only to find out at End of night, that No one hit record and I was told the battery was dead. Funny because I had 2 FULLY charged batteries with camera and the battery IN the camera was fully charged when I turned it on and memory was No where near full.
Next- I specifically requested yellow lighting and specifically said NO bright white lights, because they give me severe migraines and I don’t want a migraine at my wedding. There were going to be some green lights also to match color theme. So naturally they did not turn on green lights, and all the lighting was BRIGHT WHITE. So I got a migraine.
On top of that, our venue employed coordinator Sarah, was no where to be found 90% of evening and my Photographer (who does NOT work for venue) had to figure out how to change lighting for me and found me an icepack, and medicine.
Next - My new husband and I ordered a special meal, steaks, just for us, different than the guests chicken. It was our special day after all, and I can’t eat the sauce that comes on the chicken. However at dinner time we were handed chicken - with a tomato Alfredo type sauce. I can’t eat dairy. I get an apology and coordinator vanishes again.
My maid of honor can’t eat meat, for health reasons, I specifically ordered her salmon. Only to have her be handed chicken as well and I’m told they are out of salmon. Even though I ordered it months ago at same time as our steak. Wtf. So they make her a plate of noodles and veggies.
I on the other hand, ended up crying in the bridal suite with a migraine and no food. Again, my Photographer, hunted down someone, and at least got me a plate of chicken tenders and fries (a kids meal) so I’d have something edible.

And then, the absolute worst part of evening, we go to cut our cake, only to see that our beautiful, $333 custom handmade cake topper is broken. So I get to fake a smile and pretend I’m not crying AGAIN, and cut the cake before going to cry in bridal suite Again. That cake topper was perfectly made to match our outfits and theme exactly to last detail. It was a surprise for my husband and meant to be a keepsake to have forever. We aren’t made of money, and that was a huge cost for us but agreed that we’d have it forever so it was worth it and he couldn’t wait to see what it looked like.
To make matters Worse- NO ONE will come clean about breaking it. Everyone is pointing fingers and blaming the bakery when from what I can gather someone AT Padonia Park took our topper out of its secure and Brightly Marked “Fragile” box and broke it. As the baker says it was out of box already when she arrived with cake. I expect to be reimbursed for the cost of our topper and no one is coming forward. I’m furious right now.

Seriously just don’t waste your money. It’s a beautiful location, but it’s not worth the headache and stress. And the food didn’t taste half as good as it should have for the cost per plate.

My niece just got married here in September 2018. The venue is beautiful. The bartender and bar staff were great. That’s the only nice things I can say. The wedding started at 6 PM. The food was not served until 9:30!!! The DJ had to stop the dinner music and play the dance music before the bride and groom were even served their meals. The food was cold as were some of the plates. Not just some peoples food; Everyones. There was a lot of wasted food. They didn’t serve everyone at the table at the same time. 2 people at our table got fish. 30 minutes later the rest of the guests at our table were served their filet mignon which was covered in steak sauce and cold. Not what the bride and groom asked for. When I say the food was cold I mean everyone’s food was cold.. The meat, potatoes and vegetable. Even the hors d’oeuvres which although good were not hot. Crab balls were okay; slightly warm. Asparagus with cheese in a pastry shell were good also slightly warm. Buffalo chicken dip was good but also not very hot. The brides mother was one of the last tables to be served and her food was extremely cold. At this point it was past 9:30 and the reception was over at 11pm. When asked what was taking so long my sister was told they have to serve each table in order blah blah blah. There were only 100 people.

Unless you can use your own caterer I would not recommend Padonia Park Club.
