  Yum and wow

  Cannot say enough good things about our wedding cake! It was delicious and even had 3 different flavor combinations! Several guests asked who made it because it was SO GOOD! Also beautiful and sturdy!

  My now husband does not like cake so we chose P is for Pie and cannot say enough about them! Everything was awesome from the tasting to the delivery and set up the day of. Their pies are to DIE for! Definitely recommend these guys...they are incredible!

  If you want a amazing, different, delicious dessert for your wedding, choose P is for Pie! TAll my guests loved the cutie pies for our wedding! This is such a great way to incorporate different desserts and have a variety of flavors. Our mini cake to cut into was absolutely perfect as well! Thank you so much Stacey and team!

  Everyone LOVED the idea of pie at our wedding and the flavors were to die for! We had Pecan Hand Pies, Key Lime wholepies, French Silk wholepies, Apple wholepies, Cherry Crumb minipies, and Blackberry walnut minipies. Beautiful set up too!

  P is for Perfection! I confess that P is for Pie was second on my list of cake options in Orlando. I wasn't impressed with my first choice and stopped in P with my best friend to just try a few things to see if I wanted to make an appointment. Thank goodness I did. Our cake was the best cake I have ever eaten, whether wedding cake or fine pastry. Our tasting with Stacy was fabulous and really helped us focus our flavors. We had a 3 tier cake and some of their cutie pies and hand pies. Our guests loved everything! Stacy even had a small box of treats made for us to enjoy at the end of the night. I can't wait to go back to Orlando and stop by the stop and have some more of their treats. Please put this bakery on the top of your list. They really are that good!

  After looking at many quotes and reviews we decided to go with P is for Pie for our desserts. They were reasonably priced and absolutely DELICIOUS. All of our guests were in love and surprised with how great the cake was; we had chosen 1 layer with vanilla with lemon curd filling and the 2 smaller layers with chocolate with strawberry basil filling. I personally dislike cakes, but changed my mind after sampling their options. The design was exactly what we were looking for and complimented our vintage wedding style with great elegance. We also chose small bites: s'mores, blackberry lemon tart, and apple hand-pie. These were all incredible too! We worked with Nicole who was very flexible and helped to guide our choices according to our budget and get exactly what we wanted for our guests. I would highly recommend this bakery, whether you go with a dessert bar, traditional cake, or both!

  I can't even begin to describe how good these pies are. We knew we didn't want wedding cake and while at the Winter Park Bridal stroll I turned the corner and there was a beautiful display of pies! Everything we tried was amazing. Try them, you know you want to! Our favorite was a surprise with the caramel pecan, I thought for sure it would be too sweet, it was nothing short of perfection.

  Tara was so wonderful to work with. She was very prompt in all of her responses to my questions and most importantly her desserts were incredible! All the guests were raving about the mini pies, hand pies and whoopie pies we provided a selection of as an alternative to a traditional cake. We also rented displays from her and the set up of the dessert looked beautiful! I am so glad we did this non-traditional dessert! We also got our one tier cake to cut into in front of guests from P is for pie and that was delicious as well. She piped rosettes around it with vanilla cake with raspberry butter-cream on the inside. My mouth is watering just remembering it! We froze a piece for our anniversary and I hope it tastes half as good as it did on our wedding day!

  We are nontraditional so why would our wedding cake be any different? We had the most amazing wedding pies! They were exactly what we hoped they would be and what we were looking for on our perfect day. Everyone expressed their love of these perfect pies, people even snuck them home- we didn't mind. I cannot wait for our anniversary to order one to celebrate. Thank you so much for the willingness to work with us last minute and the flexibility to provide exactly what we wanted!

Our flavors were: Strawberry Basil (bride's favorite), French Silk (Groom's favorite), Coconut Lemon Meringue, Blueberry Cobbler, Peach Cobbler, and Southern Pecan. Our guests have commented to us what a brilliant idea the pies were and how delicious everything was. Couldn't be happier with our choice! Thank you so much!

  I wanted to do pies for my wedding because I don't like cake. P is For Pie Bake Shop was amazing! We ordered a variety of pies, mini pies, pie pops and cobblers for our reception, and they were a BIG hit and so much more unique than a typical wedding cake- our guests loved them! Tara, the owner, is fantastic to work with. She always responded to all my questions in email and even offered to ship us pie pops to taste since we were out of state and couldn't do a tasting. She did the set up at my wedding and it was amazing and adorable. I'm so glad I went with pies :)

  Tara was awesome to work with. Our pie pops for our destination wedding were not only cute but yummy as well. She worked with us to find the best flavors for our guests. I was beyond pleased with how well they held up (even though we served them a day after they had been made) I will definitely be using the Pie Shop again for future parties and events!

  We cannot be happier that we selected P is for Pie for our wedding! During the planning process we researched quite a few bakeries but were not all that excited about a large, over the top wedding cake and really had no idea which direction we wanted to go in. We found P is for Pie at a grand tasting event with Big City Catering and immediately feel in love with their products. Stacey was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process! She invited us to the shop for a more personalized tasking and was very accommodating and personable. For our wedding, we ended up having a small, two-tiered carrot cake for the traditional cake cutting as well as 3 flavors of cutie pies, Key Lime, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. All of them were to die for and were a hug hit with our Guests! We are still receiving rave comments from some family and friends, on both the cutie pies and the carrot cake. Regardless of if you are looking for a traditional wedding cake, or something more unique such as pies, I would strongly recommend looking into P is for Pie!! Stacey and team - thank you for your amazing service; It was such a pleasure working with you!

  We had P is for Pie create 10 small key lime pies in mason jars for a private yacht cruise that we took after our Orlando wedding last week. We ordered via email and had family pick up the pies the day before the wedding, and everything went smoothly! They were absolutely delicious and so cute for pictures. It was exactly what I was picturing, and I am so happy that I found P is for Pie to help make this dream come true! They also helped us work with Valhalla Bakery in Orlando to make an identical mason jar pie that was vegan for my sister, and that turned out wonderful as well.

  We had P is for Pie create 10 small key lime pies in mason jars for a private yacht cruise that we took after our Orlando wedding last week. We ordered via email and had family pick up the pies the day before the wedding, and everything went smoothly! They were absolutely delicious and so cute for pictures. It was exactly what I was picturing, and I am so happy that I found P is for Pie to help make this dream come true!   We chose P is for Pie b/c of their products. We went and tried the desserts on our own and then decided to get the contact info. We were looking for southern dessert favorites such as apple and pecan pie but with a modern twist. We contacted Tara, the owner & she got back with us shortly after. We gave her our wedding date & she was very honest with us that it was the same date as one of her head bakers so delivery would not be an option. After discussing this with our planner, we decided to move forward with a tasting. Our planner reassured us that she would make miracles happen if we chose them. We had our tasting with the same baker that was having her wedding the same day as ours. For whatever reason, Tara wasn't there. We had already discussed the flavors via email with Tara & had expected those but were surprised with raspberries instead of blackberries, my husbands favorite. I was told that they couldn't get BB in and that they only use the freshest, which I can appreciate. Secondly, the options for stands that we were paying for was minimal. I figured that their baker had already reserved much of the choices, so we chose to use 3 of theirs and go purchase others to match our design. Tara did offer to work us on costs to offset that. Third, I didn't feel that the head baker doing our tasting was really responsive to us. After our tasting I immediately contacted the owner regarding my concerns because I didn't feel they were addressed appropriately. We went back and forth but we chose to sign contract honestly b/c they did offer the products we wanted and that the desserts were good.
  Well, wedding day came. We saw the desserts at the reception & they looked amazing. Our carrot cake was the one we cut and it was so delicious. Our topper looked awesome on it. Our flavors were apple pie, pecan pie, blackberries with lemon & pumpkin. We loved them all. I would recommend them and use them again. However, they are a small shop shop so communication can be delayed.

  We chose P is for Pie b/c of their products. We went and tried the desserts on our own and then decided to get the contact info. We were looking for southern dessert favorites such as apple and pecan pie but with a modern twist. We contacted Tara, the owner & she got back with us shortly after. We gave her our wedding date & she was very honest with us that it was the same date as one of her head bakers so delivery would not be an option. After discussing this with our planner, we decided to move forward with a tasting. Our planner reassured us that she would make miracles happen if we chose them. We had our tasting with the same baker that was having her wedding the same day as ours. For whatever reason, Tara wasn't there. We had already discussed the flavors via email with Tara & had expected those but were surprised with raspberries instead of blackberries, my husbands favorite. I was told that they couldn't get BB in and that they only use the freshest, which I can appreciate. Secondly, the options for stands that we were paying for was minimal. I figured that their baker had already reserved much of the choices, so we chose to use 3 of theirs and go purchase others to match our design. Tara did offer to work us on costs to offset that. Third, I didn't feel that the head baker doing our tasting was really responsive to us. After our tasting I immediately contacted the owner regarding my concerns because I didn't feel they were addressed appropriately.   Poor communication

  Planning a wedding out of state is a challenge in itself & I fell in love with this pie store from the second I saw it online. The owner Stacey gladly met me for a tasting which was amazing and she seemed very on top of things at that time. I placed half deposit $236.00 (1/2 of total order) to secure them for my date 11/10/18 for my wedding. Unfortunately my wedding was cancelled and I found this company to be very unprofessional to say the least. As I work in customer service myself, I know the true value of communication. I started out by emailing the owner directly twice about having to cancel my dream wedding and her services on that date, this was already hard enough on its own and never received any communication from P is for Pie. I might add I started emailing 8 months prior to my wedding date plenty of time to respond. Without a courtesy of a simple email responding that my previous emails were actually received and they understood I needed to cancel. I then contacted the store 3 times via phone call, all 3 times were assured Stacey would contact me after my name and number was taken. NO call or email. With this being said I never spoke with anyone from this business, my wedding date has come and gone without even the courtesy of a sorry you lost your money we won’t refund you or give you a store credit. I waited until after my wedding date to decide to write this review as I think all should be aware of the communication gap. Beware of this store if you actually like people to respond to you after they take your money to secure a date.
