Dreams really do come true!
We had our wedding at the OZ farm in Saugerties this weekend. I can not even express the gratitude I have for Jenny and Heather for pulling off the most amazing celebration of love I could have ever dreamed up. We began working with Heather almost 2 years ago - planning our wedding for May 2020. With COVID, we had to postpone our wedding - and the whole way, Heather was there to answer questions, help us, and listen to our concerns. The whole time she stayed calm, but was also transparent and honest with us, which we really appreciated. The end result was pure magic. We had a smaller wedding than originally planned, and things changed up until the last minute, but the whole way, Heather’s main concern was that we were happy. She advocated for us and knew exactly what our vision was - and it came out perfectly. The party was SO MUCH FUN! The whole crew working at Oz is warm, friendly and a lot of fun. We used their caterer kitchen at Shale Hill Farm - the food was unbelievable, and beautiful. We used their DJ- Theo Marshall and I could not have been happier. He just totally got our vibe and played all of the right music. Everyone loved it! The farm is so beautiful on its own, with flowers and decor is was a fairytale. I am so so so happy. -

Heather helped to plan our day to perfection! When Covid-hit our wedding plan, in so many ways, went out the window. But Heather was determined to make our day everything we had always imagined! Oz Farm became our ceremony site, in a last minute Hail Mary, and from that moment on, everything was perfect! I am such a Type A control freak I didn't know what I would ever need a planner for but Heather listened and respected my vision. She was a shoulder to lean on (and a person to cry to) when things went wrong along the way--as they do! Especially planning a Covid-wedding! And she never lost sight of how important this day was to us: She always made us feel that it was equally important to her.
She introduced us to our FABULOUS FLORIST and used her AMAZING decorative skills to make everything at Oz Farm "pinterest perfect!"
On the day of the wedding, she took care of everything! She was completely available, generous, kind, and right there with me before I walked down the aisle. She is an absolute joy to work with, a positive force to be reckoned with, and someone who gives her all, all the time. I will forever be grateful to her for making this day even more magical than I had ever dreamed! -

Absolutely fantastic!
I don’t know where to start. We were blown away when we first visited Oz Farm and even more blown away when we met the venue planner and coordinator Heather Post. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Heather was to ya for the past year and a half !
Due to corona we were forced to move our wedding from May to June to August. EVERY SINGLE time we moved the date heather stepped up and moved every vendor without hesitation. I was beyond stressed and within a day or so she had everything moved to the new date TWICE! She listened to me cry, and be picky and every single time she did anything and everything to bring our vision to life. I’ve never had a better experience with someone in my entire life than I did with Heather Post. She pushed to make our dream wedding come to life and even after we had to move it and our vision started to crumble she did whatever she had to to put the pieces back together and make sure it was as close as possible even with the new rules of the pandemic.
The day of the wedding she was EVERYWHERE she needed to be. Answering my texts at 6am, making sure everything went smoothly throughout the day and it all went off without a hitch. If you ever get a chance to work with Heather you are very lucky. I will forever be grateful for her hard work and dedication for what she does. She is so talented! THANK YOU HEATHER! Xoxoxo -

We did not want a cookie cutter Indian wedding that usually takes place at a hotel ballroom or a hall. The moment we visited Oz Farm, we fell in love with the location. It was a unique location that had all the right spaces to execute a traditional Indian wedding while giving a sense of magic and uniqueness. What truly sold us on the place though, was Jenny and her attitude. She made us feel that we could do anything and she would find a way to get it done. After talking to her, it was hard to find another location with so much flexibility. Even though, she had never done an Indian Weeding at Oz Farm, we felt comfortable having her manage the wedding. We also hired her as a wedding planner.
Our guests loved the location and the kids had a blast playing with the horses. She was kind enough to lend us a horse for the groom's procession and even decorated him for us. Everyone at the farm was extremely friendly and allowed us to express ourselves the whole weekend.
For any couple who is thinking of having an Indian Wedding at Oz Farms we have a few tips:
1. Indian weddings have many moving pieces. We only had Jenny for one of the events and that event went perfectly. She is able to handle the pressure and able to pay attention to the minute details when she is there. There were a few missed things operationally when she was not around. Even after going through the plan in detail multiple times, few things were forgotten when she was not around. Our guests didn't know about it and enjoyed everything and had a blast. For hosting the first Indian Wedding at Oz Farm, they did a great job and I am sure they learnt a lot. Try to make sure Jenny is present at all your events.
2. Go with a seasoned caterer like Moghul. The catering for an Indian Wedding is more complex compared to an American wedding, requiring more equipment than there is at Oz Farm. Jenny was kind enough to arrange for most of the kitchen equipment, but a less experienced caterer might find a little difficult to work with a limited kitchen.
3. If you choose to do a wedding in summer, beware of the heat. The fans provided were adequate if everyone was wearing light summer dresses and shorts. But everyone of the the guests was in full heavy Indian clothing. Either provide hand held fans for the guests and/or reserve industrialized fans. You cannot control the weather but be prepared for the heat. Our wedding will now be remembered forever as a very hot wedding.
If you are looking for a unique twist to an Indian wedding while while keeping with the tradition, Oz Farm is the right choice. The guest will cherish not going to another hotel wedding and amenities available will provide the marrying couple and their guests with a memorable experience. We are extremely happy we made the decision to go with Oz Farm. It was a magical weekend. -

Best Venue Ever!! Definitely consider a Horse Farm Wedding
Oz Farm was the most amazing venue to get married at!! As one friend said our wedding was the most instagrammable wedding of all time. Jenny has baby goats, horses, a glamping tent, horse trailer bar and continues to put more and more into the property. It made the wedding so fun and unique and our guests had the best time. The barn is absolutely stunning and can fit many different sizes of parties from small to big. The venue is also incredibly weather ready for any surprising cold or rain that could happen. The Oz team had so many ideas and backup plans which thankfully we didn't need to use, but it was comforting to know the venue had so many options.
Jenny also just got our vision from day 1 and helped bring it to life and shared helpful advice along the way from all of her years of events and weddings. She helped us to create table settings and even floral arrangements that complimented the barn and it turned out beautiful and was everything we hoped and imagined for our wedding. She even thought of creative ways to re-use our ceremony flowers around the space. Also, not common in the business but we never felt like Jenny was nickel and diming us or trying to up sell us on unnecessary things for the wedding. She always kept everything very real with us and helped us find alternatives in our budget when needed. She knows all the things that will make the day special, and what is not needed.
Her partner Steven is also an amazing photographer and got some great shots of the wedding as well, I would definitely consider using him if you are getting married at the venue. He took incredibly thoughtful shots of all the details of the day we would want to remember.
Also the food!!! If you do the venue definitely use their caterers. The Oz Farm chef Dan listened to all of our specific needs and requests and we got rave reviews on the food for the wedding. People are still talking about how fresh and unique the dishes were Friends loved that we did a family style menu, and we loved how much say we had in every item served.
Oz is not your cookie cutter catering hall, it is so much better. If you are looking for something more unique you should absolutely consider Oz. It was a reasonable distance from NYC for guests to travel but far enough away to feel special and unique. We were also able to tailor the whole wedding from menu, wine, and decor to to be our dream wedding.
Thank you again to Jenny and the whole Oz staff! We were so happy with our wedding and will remember it forever!! -

Jenny was beyond helpful with our family oriented wedding! I have a 7 month old and she took care of everything I needed prior to the wedding and during which helped Us relax and enjoy our day. We had such a special day and she was a superwoman, making sure we had anything and everything we needed. The venue was beautiful and all of the special touches made our wedding day unforgettable. We also were the first ones to get married IN the horse barn! -

Amazing chic barn wedding
The venue was beautiful guest could not get over the sencery and loved feeding the horses. Jenny made it so easy to create the wedding of our dreams and customize every detail. If you are looking for a diy wedding oz farm is perfect you can really create anything you want. Our wedding guest wouldn’t stop saying how unique and beautiful the wedding was all thanks to the venue and Jenny for putting it together. We Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a barn wedding. -

We worked with Jenny for a little over a year and as a wedding planner- she is fantastic! We didn’t have to worry about anything and she made the day of- the greatest experience of our lives. She is absolutely amazing and her talent as a wedding planner really shows in the way she speaks so passionately about the work that she does.
Oz Farm is a beautiful place to get married- especially if you want that outdoor/rustic/ vintage feel of a wedding!
We were extremely pleased with how the decorations, food, music, cake, and atmosphere of the wedding turned out and this will go down as one of the greatest days of our lives! -

There was no other consideration, my husband and I hired Jenny to be our planner leading up to (& day of) our September 8, 2018 wedding at Deer Mountain Inn. We've gotten to know Jenny over the last 14 months and she exceeded her rave reviews. Beyond being a true professional, Jenny is patient and fun to work with. She brought ease to the entire process of wedding planning. From her arsenal of local, trusted vendors to her detail oriented eye–– we had full confidence that everything was handled and, indeed, the quality matched across each category. We hired her partner (in life & business!), Steven Michael King, as our wedding videographer. It was effortless and fun to be around him on our special day. We are eager to re-live the day and all of its joy through his eyes/lens.
Jenny was a grounding force in the highs and lows that is natural in planning a wedding. She always supported and encouraged our vision. She never pushed–– only led us in well-thought-out directions, with ideas that never lost the authenticity of us and what we wanted to accomplish with our day. Our guests continue to use the word "magical" when describing the wedding and it truly was. More than we could have dreamed.
We highly recommend Jenny, Steven and the Oz Farm crew to any couple looking for a best-in-class wedding planning (and seriously good people). -

Amanda Sent on 07/11/2018My husband and I hired Jenny Oz LeRoy to be our planner leading up to (and day of) our wedding at the Deer Mountain Inn in the Catskills, NY on June 23, 2018. From our first meeting, we knew right away that Jenny was a professional and would help guide us through the stressful and sometimes overwhelming wedding process. Leading up to our big day, Jenny was a tremendous asset by recommending local vendors and answering any and all questions that we had about our big day. Her knowledge of the industry (what’s worth the investment vs. what’s not) was extremely beneficial to us. Especially planning a wedding in an area where we didn’t know everyone (in the wedding industry), Jenny was able to provide valuable recommendations and connect us to her vast network of exceptional wedding vendors. We definitely had great options to choose from!
Regarding day of the wedding, Jenny was an absolute dream to work with. Unfortunately, we had thunderstorms the morning of our wedding and Jenny was such a pro dealing with any last minute items that popped up (including the rain) and how to best problem solve. And even with the stress of the weather and the nerves of the day, she helped to guide us through the best day of our lives - a day that we will always look back on and cherish. Every detail, from big to small, Jenny was on top of and managed with ease. She was totally prepared on her end and took so much pressure off our shoulders day of, so my husband and I could truly sit back and enjoy. Whenever we needed her, she was right there, which was exactly what we were hoping for from a wedding planner.
Jenny is smart, organized, diligent, patient and extremely supportive. She was so lovely to work with through our entire wedding process and exceeded our expectations. We are so appreciative of all her hard work that went into planning our perfect day and we would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a best-in-class wedding planner. -

She was always super helpful and ready to go over and beyond for us. The OZ Farm is the perfect venue! Everyone had a great time and loved this little hidden gem!! Oz Farm is a spectacularly breath-taking venue. Besides the amazing grounds and the amusement of beautiful horses, this venue offers two of the most transformative barns, capable of making any vision come true. The owner Jenny is welcoming and had some of the best staff! My husband and I were never left with any questions and were beyond ecstatic about the service. The inhouse catering is worth every penny - absolutely delicious!!! Lindsey Hogan has to be the world's best wedding planner! She was there with me every step of the way and stellar the night of our wedding. The way she was able to make our vision come to life to share with a our loved ones on one of the best days of our lives was impressive! I recommend all brides and all grooms have Oz Farm on their venue list and watch the beautiful creations come to life!!! -
