The wedding of our dreams!!

We had the most amazing experience at OBYC! Eleanor and Meghan were by our sides throughout wedding planning from start to finish. They are personable, professional, and dedicated to making your wedding perfect. The marsh views, dock, and ceremony space is surreal. Every single guest commented on how stunning OBYC is. The food is phenomenal and accommodating of allergies and dietary restrictions. Every single staff member we interacted with was a joy. OBYC truly feels like an affordable luxury!! I can not recommend them enough 💕

We love eleanor

From the moment we stepped into OBYC, we knew this was the place. Eleanor greeted us with champagne and then immediately dove into describing our perfect day. She understood our wants and needs. The staff at OBYC is something so special. On your wedding day, you want to be surrounded by a fun team that will get it done with a smile and a laugh. That is OBYC. The venue is beautiful, we feel in love with the space, but it was the people who made our wedding day everything we wanted. Eleanor and her team were with us every step of the way, making this a seamless and painless process. She executed our many creative visions and took the time to understand our different cultural customs. We cannot recommend this venue and this team enough.

1000/10 experience! Loved every minute

El and Annika are seriously the best wedding coordinators! I could not have planned a more perfect wedding day and also had such an easy and seamless time planning without them. They both are so accommodating with everything, will walk you through every single detail that you wouldn’t know to think about, take time to answer all of the little questions, and ensures everything is exactly what the couple wants for their wedding. OBYC is a stunning location and I am so glad we chose this venue to get married at. This was the first and only venue we toured because we just knew this was the perfect place to get married. I would 100% recommend any couple to book at OBYC because you will have a phenomenal time planning with El and Annika and will have the best wedding day ever there!

Oyster Bay is nothing less than 5 stars !

My dream wedding has come true at this venue. My eyes are watering even writing this review. Everything about this place is amazing. All of the staff is super friendly and helpful and want nothing less than the bride and groom to have an amazing wedding day. I can’t say enough nice things about Eleanor and Anika. They made my wedding planning stress free. On my wedding day all I did was enjoy. No stress or communicating with any of my vendors ! Absolutely amazing I wish I could live the day over again.

Do your self a favor, CHOOSE OBYC!

I could seriously write a 10 page essay about how much I loved getting married at Oyster Bay Yacht Club! Our very first tour of the venue, we were greeted by name with a glass of champagne. As soon as we left the venue, we 100% knew this is where we would be getting married!

The planning process was so easy thanks for Eleanor and Annika. From day one, the staff at OBYC went above and beyond to make planning as seamless as possible. We had regular meetings, phone calls, and email check ins. The entire planning process felt custom to us, from creating menus, drink options, decorations, and timelines. They were always there to provide advice and ideas for us. Two weeks out from the wedding, they take over for you (communication with vendors, timelines, and yes, even the small details)

On the day of your wedding, they are at the venue at 8 am setting up, decorating, and directing vendors. Nobody had to lift a finger on the day of. They build time into the day for you and your spouse to enjoy each other and soak up every moment of peace. They made sure we were fed, got to eat appetizers, had something to drink and a moment to rest.

It was truly the best experience and we were so blown out of the water!!! CHOOSE OBYC!!!!

BEST Wedding Venue & Team!!!

I got married at Oyster Bay Yacht Club in June 2024 and we could not be happier with our decision to choose Oyster Bay as our wedding venue! The venue is simply stunning, but by far what made our experience so great was El and Annika’s incredible attention to detail, knowledge and support throughout the whole process. They went above and beyond by providing a list of (amazing!!!!!) recommended vendors, quick responses to just about every question in the book, and flawless day of execution to create a fantastic experience. My favorite moment - we handmade a welcome sign and had to order our cricut last minute the week of, but it was too large for the sign - when we brought it to Oyster Bay, El and Annika were able to do “cricut surgery” the day before our wedding and fix the sign perfectly so we could still bring our vision to life! It was a pleasure getting to work with them through the wedding planning process - they took all of the guesswork and stress out of wedding planning, and brought positivity and excitement to every moment along the way! Choosing Oyster Bay and this talented team was key in making our wedding day the absolute best day of our lives, we cannot recommend them enough!!!!! 11/10

DREAM wedding venue!

My husband and I had our wedding at Oyster Bay Yacht Club in June of 2024. Eleanor and Annika could not have been more helpful, accommodating, talented, thoughtful, and amazing! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we owe it all to them and their preferred vendors. Eleanor and Annika are extremely gifted at their craft and we will miss working with them! I would HIGHLY recommend considering Oyster Bay Yacht Club for an event or wedding. The location is absolutely breathtaking with stunning views of the marsh, a gorgeous sprawling patio with a pool, and beautiful interiors. 10/10 experience! I wish we could do it over again! Amazing team and wedding venue

We had our wedding at Oyster Bay in May and Eleanor and Annika went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect wedding day of our dreams. They are so organized and make the planning process so easy and enjoyable. On wedding day, both Eleanor and Annika were there making sure everything was running smoothly and also making sure we were well hydrated and fed through all the wedding day craziness! I felt zero stress during my wedding day because they were on top of everything. I am so grateful to have had these ladies by my side through the whole process. Our family and friends are still talking about what an amazing day it was from the beautiful views to the delicious food. I definitely recommend Oyster Bay for your wedding!

Like most brides, I wanted a place that was elegant, unique and something that would make my guests feel like they were at a one of a kind wedding. My experience with El, Annika and OBYC was all of that and more. My mom and I poured our hearts into this wedding (as did El and Annika), and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect. I truly don’t have enough wonderful things to say about the professionalism, attention to detail and incredible staff that this place brought. From extra design sessions with my mom, to FaceTimes with me in Chicago, all the way to setting my husband and I up with a romantic candle lit dinner the night of, it was just exquisite. All my guests can attest as well, you won’t find a place like Oyster Bay with El Annika. Thank you SO much for making my wedding so special.

Exceeded our expectations!

Eleanor and Anika were amazing from start to finish ! Communication was excellent and they were organized and focused during all of the planning meetings. I knew at the rehearsal that they had everything under control (my daughter had 14 attendants !) Eleanor and Anika were relaxed but in control of all details. This attention to detail continued for the day of the wedding from start to finish. I have lots of little stories that I could share, but one of the most memorable was when we realized that I had forgotten to order boutonnières for the ring bearers. Crisis was averted as Eleanor swooped in to rescue (without being asked) with an “extra” small arrangement of roses and pins for their jacket lapels. As the Mother of the bride my experience was highly impacted by the professionalism of OBYC staff and especially these two special women.

Perfect Wedding Venue

Having our wedding at Oyster Bay was everything we could have dreamed of! Absolutely stunning venue, wonderful staff, and so much help along the way to ensure that the wedding day was everything we were hoping for and then some. Every detail was amazing and if I could give the food & service more than 5 stars, I would. Eleanor & Annika are the best, they were a complete joy to work with, provided fantastic vendor suggestions, and made us feel like royalty the day of the wedding. Any ideas that we had for the wedding day were met with enthusiasm, they truly do everything they can to ensure that the day is perfect for you. Couldn't recommend Oyster Bay enough!

Amazing wedding

We just held our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding at Oyster Bay this past Saturday, February 24, 2024. It was a beautiful ceremony under the stunning tree canopy and an unbelievable reception full of love, dancing and fantastic food. The weather was perfect and our guests (especially those from out of state) loved the atmosphere and beautiful views. Our guests raved about the food and how organized the whole night was. Many guests stated it was one of the best weddings they have attended. Much of that credit goes to the staff. The entire staff was so kind and attentive to all our guests. Eleanor and Annika were the best team to work with. They kept us organized and provided guidance throughout the entire process. I would absolutely encourage anyone to book here, you will not regret it!

October Wedding at OBYC

My husband and I got married at OBYC in the fall. We do not live in the Jacksonville area so we were looking for an all inclusive venue with an amazing staff to help us along the way. We found everything we were looking for and more in OBYC. El and Annika were so helpful at every turn in planning the wedding and made sure our vision was put to life. With the help of our (recommended) vendors, the OBYC team made our wedding day stress free and beautiful. We loved the indoor/outdoor aspect of the venue and utilized all of the unique spaces that this venue has to offer.

Our daughter and son-in-law got married at OBYC on Sat. Nov 18. From the day we booked the venue, we felt completely taken care of by all the staff, from the planning meetings to the wonderful lunches served at OBYC. On the day of the wedding, we had nothing to worry about as the staff took care of us from the moment we arrived to get ready to the moment we left. Oh my goodness, we can’t say enough great things about this venue!!! From the initial viewing/visit, to the planning meeting several months before the wedding, and to the actual wedding day, Oyster Bay Yacht Club is a place of excellence while keeping it a warm and personable experience. Incredible venue, food & team

We got married at OBYC on August 19th, 2023. The wedding coordinators here are some of the best in the business. The experience is unmatched and from the moment we booked the venue we felt completely taken care of. The process is extremely organized and well put together. As stressful as planning a wedding is, we really felt like we could count on our venue and wedding team. On to the day: spectacular. As a bride, as often as you've attended weddings, it's hard to picture how your own will feel & go. OBYC was an absolutely stunning venue and our guests had a truly amazing time. We put a lot of thought into the vibe of the event and the venue helped us achieve that. The views of the marsh, the ceremony against the trees, the cocktail reception at the pool.. vibes were immaculate! Last but not least - the kitchen & bar are incredible. The food was some of the best I've ever had at a wedding (trying to not be bias!). You can count on this venue to make your dreams come true.

Overall our experience with this venue, the decor, the food and drinks, the staff, and the wedding event coordinator (Ashton Hunter) were exceptional. Best Team Ever!

All of the amazing things I have to say about OBYC, Ashton & Sarah, and the rest of the staff are endless! They are phenomenal! We had been looking at venues but we were not finding a good fit. I found OBYC on a whim after a friend posted a picture on FB, and I am so happy I did. From the very beginning, working with Ashton & Sarah, they were accommodating, professional, responsive, and helped us throughout the entire planning process to make sure we were having the wedding we wanted. They helped guide us through all of the different processes that goes in to planning a wedding such as picking out vendors, invitation etiquette, décor, and so much more! During rehearsal and wedding day, they were always right there to help guide us along our way, and assist with any of our needs, even bustling my dress a few times throughout the night. Spending the last year and a half planning with Sarah and Ashton, we will miss speaking with them on a regular basis, and we look forward to our visits at the club to see them both.
If you need help picking a venue, all I have to say is you will be so happy you picked this one!

Best team / venue

As soon as I met Ashton and Sarah I knew OBYC was the venue for us! They were so helpful every step of the way. They provided us with lists of preferred vendors, recommendations for rehearsal dinner, different ceremony/reception plans pending weather, etc. Ashton and Sarah know what they are doing!! The planning process couldn't have been any smoother - especially being an out-of-town bride. They truly made my vision come true. We had SO many of our guests compliment us about the food, drinks, venue, and vendors we chose. I cannot say enough amazing words about this entire experience and highly recommend this venue!!

Beautiful venue and wonderful team

From the second we toured, we knew Ashton and Sarah would do an amazing job taking care of us. Choosing Oyster Bay was the best choice we could have made! The team already had a list of preferred vendors and assisted us in establishing those vendor relationships and working this the vendors every step of the way. They literally thought of everything from timelines, and ensuring us (the bride and groom) actually ate on the wedding day, to stuffing tissues in the bridesmaids bouquets for when we all cried at the alter. Could not have asked for a better venue/team!!

There are truly not enough words to write about how incredible this team and this venue was to celebrate our big day. From day one, Ashton and Sarah were so responsive, helpful and ON IT whenever we needed them to be. It was a perfect balance of planning (which was great especially being an out of town bride). The entire day of staff were incredible, and made the day go SO seamlessly. The ceremony/reception plans A, B AND C were beautiful, you literally could not go wrong with any of them (even if it rains). Ashton and Sarah's vision for how to use the space and incorporate your own vision throughout was just a dream. Our guests are still raving about the food, venue, vendors that the team helped us pick out and just the entire weekend there as a whole. I truly can't say enough amazing words about this entire experience!!

There is not a more perfect venue in the world

Stunning. Everything was amazing. Wedding was during the week of Hurricane Ian. I could not have gotten through the stress without Sarah, the OBYC coordinator who kept me sane, gave us champagne, and gave us the plans a,b,c & d.

The guests raved about the venue, said it was one of the most beautiful weddings theyve ever gone to. The second you sign on at Oyster Bay they become your coordinator and help with your vendors and all the little things that you never realize go into this.

The food was outstanding! Literally the best wedding food I've ever had. The service somehow even better and they follow you around all day to make sure you eat and get time to yourselves as a couple.

I cannot say enough great things about them. They made our wedding perfect. We are so grateful to have celebrated the best day of our lives at Oyster Bay.

The most beautiful venue!

I can't say enough about the OBYC. It was such a beautiful setting for our wedding. Our guests have not stopped talking about it! The staff was exceptional every step of the way - especially Ashton & Sarah! They made us feel like we were the only ones they worked with the entire time. Not to mention, the professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise were clear from the very first meeting. Leading up to the wedding and the day of, everything was perfect. I could always count on their help with any questions we had. They were always 2 steps ahead and offered several solutions. Part of the perk at the OBYC included a decor vault, which was amazing and packed with beautiful items we could use. Was such a big help! Please believe me when I tell you they are the best and will make this experience so amazing for you. We are so glad we chose the OBYC - our wedding day was beyond anything we could have ever imagined!

Utter Perfection!!

The team at Oyster Bay made the wedding day perfect! They took care of EVERYTHING, and the whole venue, decorations, timeline, managing vendors, everything was done as we requested! They thought of everything and more, so we were able to show up and take in the whole day with love and fun. We were treated like royalty. Couldn't have asked for a better team/venue

Choosing OBYC for my wedding was hands down one of the best choices I made during my planning process. Ashton Hunter and Sarah Woodward both helped me coordinate my wedding from start to finish and they were both PHENOMENAL. They seamlessly created a timeline that was conducive to my special day, and you could just tell that all staff members at OBYC knew what they were doing when it comes to weddings. They were always just a phone call/email away and they were SO responsive and attentive over email which was super helpful. Let me talk about THE FOOD... the food was absolutely delicious and my guests even said it was some of the best wedding food they've had. Most don't remember wedding food but my guests definitely remembered mine! It was so nice that I didn't have to find an outside vendor to cater food or alcohol. Oyster Bay was also super flexible when it came to our "signature drinks" and they already had everything they needed for them! I did not have to provide much of anything and it was included with the price of our bar package. Some of my favorite parts definitely were the room reveal where they take the bride or groom (or both) up to the reception space so they can see it before the ceremony, and also the private dance at the very end of the night. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience and I know I would have been MUCH more stressed had I not held my wedding at Oyster Bay. They were with me for 15 months and really made my vision come to life on the day of. I truly cannot say enough good things about the venue and about Ashton and Sarah specifically. Every single person I encountered at OBYC was amazing and truly made me feel like my wedding was the only one. The attention to detail and organization was unmatched and I cannot thank everyone enough!!

Exceptional Venue with Coastal Charm!

We got married at OBYC on June 18,2022, and our experience with this venue and it's staff was EXCEPTIONAL. The wedding coordinator, Ashton Hunter, and the assistant coordinators, Sarah and Anika, made the planning process so enjoyable. Ashton helped us pick vendors that were wonderful to work with, and this in itself helped make the entire wedding season so much fun! The venue itself is exquisite. From the coastal charm of the yacht club to the whimsical feel of the property grounds with the backdrop of the intercoastal, this venue fit everything we could have dreamed of for our wedding day. The day of the wedding the staff executed each moment flawlessly and made sure that we had no worries and all enjoyment! The kitchen staff prepared delicious food, and the attending staff made all of our guests feel carefree to enjoy themselves! I wish we could give 10 stars!

Amazing All Around

We booked Oyster Bay Yacht Club for our wedding after we fell in love with the beautiful location, decor and friendly staff. The venue pricing included both a wedding planner and assistant which was a blessing in disguise. Ashton and Sarah were so supportive throughout the entire planning process including both the rehearsal and wedding day. Words can't even describe who wonderful these two are. We received so many compliments from our family and friends on how smoothly the day went and how great the venue, staff and food were. I wish we could go back and relive every moment of our dream wedding day at OBYC.

Above and beyond wedding experience

Oyster Bay was all we could have hoped for and more for our wedding. Ashton made every step of the way easy as we planned our destination wedding from out of town. She was prompt, helpful and refused to let us have any stress. The venue offers so many in house decorations and they seamlessly brought my vision to life with very little guidance. The day of was calm and all details were taken care of for us with the help of her assistant, Sarah. The ceremony location is stunning with the Spanish moss backdrop and the venue requires very few additional decorations. The entire staff is professional, responsive and runs so smoothly you and your family will be able to enjoy every step of the process!

Wedding perfection!!

Let me preface it to say that I'm the father of the bride, so as you may expect, I did not nearly have the interaction with our wedding planner (Ashton), as my wife and daughter did, but I can tell you that they were blown away by how amazing the entire process went from beginning to end. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that my wife and daughter didn't have to stress about a single thing from the planning stage to the wedding day. As I have been in the Hotel and Resort business for over thirty years, I've seen some very talented wedding planners, and I can safely say that Ashton ranks up there with the best of them. The team at the venue was fantastic, everything went like clockwork, everyone was poised and always made us feel like they had everything under control (which they did.) The food and beverage service and the quality of the food and specialty drinks were spot on, and I cannot think of one thing that was an issue. All of the vendors that Ashton recommended were top notch, and would not hesitate to recommend any of them. Lastly, I felt like I should mention that we have had so many compliments about the wedding and that this is the best one they have ever attended!!! Thanks again to everyone at OBYC for being a part of our memories.

Everything we wanted & MORE!!!!

There is not a single thing I would have changed about my wedding day and I owe it all to Ashton and her team at OBYC! The venue speaks for itself with the views and cozy atmosphere but the team at OBYC was really what made our wedding day and everyday leading up to it so smooth. Ashton is responsive, attentive, comforting, funny and so kick butt, she can handle anything. She and her team make you feel like you're their most important bride. She truly makes sure your day is exactly how you envision. We had a lot of rain leading up to our wedding day and to say I was stressed was an understatement. Ashton was calm, reassuring, and talked us through all the potential day-of plans, for whatever the weather had in store. We were fortunate enough that morning rain passed and the sun decided to shine on our special day. The team at OBYC was drying the grass with a leaf blower and draining water puddles in the driveways. They were doing it ALL! I was so relaxed the morning of my wedding because I knew Ashton and Sarah had everything taken care of. Our guests raved about the venue, the food, and the ease in which the day progressed. I recommend OBYC to anyone who is getting married. It was the best day and one we truly cherish!

One of the best (and easiest) decisions we made!

We knew OBYC was the right venue for us when we were greeted with a glass of champagne and a personalized draft timeline and seating chart for our wedding day. Throughout the entire planning process, Ashton managed every small detail on our behalf, and every detail was personalized and catered to what she knew we wanted and needed. She coordinated with all of our vendors, accommodated special requests, and managed every small change that occurred as a result of COVID. We would not have made it without Ashton!

Best Planner/Venue EVER

To say Oyster Bay Yacht Club is perfect is seriously an understatement. The staff, the location, the food, and the ambiance are all absolutely amazing.
On that same note, I need to take a moment to talk about their in-house wedding planner, Ashton. We originally had a different planner before and was nervous about the changeover, but Ashton blew me out of the water. She is not only extremely knowledgeable and talented in wedding planning, she is kind, flexible, beyond helpful, and ALWAYS has the couple’s best interest in mind. She is always quick to respond to emails, helped me clear my head when I felt disorganized, and all around made us feel so at peace with the entire planning process.
I cannot overstate how incredible it was to have our wedding at OBYC, but it wouldn’t have been what it was without Ashton!

Perfect Wedding

All I can say is WOW. Ashton and her team went above and beyond. This was such a stress free wedding planning process thanks to Ashton- she was always checking in on me & happy to help whenever I needed her. She is truly SO talented and a true professional. Having my wedding at Oyster Bay was the best decision ever. I got married underneath the mossy oaks- it was breathtakingly beautiful. I had guests raving about how gorgeous the ceremony was as well as the AMAZING food and venue/decor was. Speaking of decor, they have so much you can use and did an amazing job setting everything up. My vision came to life & when I saw my reception room for the first time I truly couldn't speak and starting tearing up it was sooo beautiful! You will not regret choosing OBYC as your venue. Ashton, Kelsey, & Staff truly treated me like a queen. 10/10 venue, food, staff. I could go on and on. I will cherish this day for the rest of my life!

A Dream Wedding

I cannot recommend Oyster Bay enough. My husband and I do not live in the area, but Ashton's expertise, efficiency, and attentiveness made the distance seem like nothing. Having your planner tied to the venue is more helpful than you can imagine. Oyster Bay and Ashton are very established in the area, so they have recommendations and connections with the best vendors. This dynamic venue is also amazing because you can get ready, married, and party all in the same place! If you are lucky enough to get an opening with this venue, SNAG IT ASAP!

Best decision ever!

Our experience getting married at Oyster Bay was absolutely incredible! We knew from the moment we drove up to the venue that this was the place we wanted to get married. It is not only beautiful and picturesque, but the staff that come along with it is top notch! We started with Cheyenne as our coordinator and this was changed to Ashton later in the game. The transition was flawless and I had full confidence that she and her team would handle anything! They sure did! Also the food was exceptional! All of our guests raved about it! If you want a venue that has it all, OBYC is your place!

Simply Amazing!

We would 100% recommend Oyster Bay Yacht Club! It was a journey to get here but when the day finally arrived it exceeded our expectations! My daughter's wedding was pushed back 3x due to Covid and OBYC worked with us every step of the way. As you can imagine, there were some trying times getting to the big day but OBYC worked with us and when the big day arrived, it was incredible! I cannot say enough good things about Ashton who is their Wedding planner! She took the stress away and was so professional, positive and accessible! The entire staff was exceptional! We had guests saying it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they ever attended! The venue provides so much in regards to in house décor, a room to get ready in, parking, contacting your vendors and so much more! Plus the views are incredible! And did I mention the food?! You just can't go wrong booking your wedding here!!

Great experience

We absolutely loved our wedding day at Oyster Bay Yacht Club! Everything leading up to the wedding went smoothly as did the day of, thanks to Ashton and her amazing team! Perfection

I don't even know where to start. This is a beautiful venue and Cheyenne was amazing!!! We had to postpone our long awaited wedding due to COVID. Cheyenne was always available, helped with every detail and went above and beyond helping us reschedule all our vendors. Everything was perfect!!! Our day was beyond what we expected! Everyone had an awesome time and the food and staff were amazing. It was definitely worth the wait!

The absolute BEST!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Cheyenne and the team at Oyster Bay. My husband and I didn't have a precise vision for our wedding, but knew we wanted a more relaxed environment that we could make our own. Many venues we visited had strict limitations on the type of food, decor, or set up they provided. Oyster Bay gave us so much flexibility and went above and beyond to make sure our day perfectly accommodated and reflected us. For a couple that rather relinquish control to the professionals than stress about the details, it was a blessing to have Cheyenne and Barbara. They knew the right questions to ask to gather critical input from us, then used their network and experience to create something better than we could have envisioned. All while staying within a very reasonable budget! They made sure to keep us in the forefront and allowed us to have the final say in all decisions. They also held our hands and adjusted accordingly as we navigated ever-changing Covid protocols. They truly became close friends during the process.

While outstanding in planning, Oyster Bay was perfect in execution. Our wedding day wasn’t exactly what we planned. We were already juggling Covid, add a strong storm with sustained winds and rain in the mix, it was enough to make any bride panic. However, Cheyenne and the team handled every hiccup with grace. A back-up plan was put into place without me or the guests ever knowing the difference. The food was absolutely incredible. They provided specific menu requests, accommodated for certain dietary needs, and the staff were so nice and professional. For my husband and I, our wedding went off without a hitch. It was so much fun and truly the best day of our lives. We’re forever thankful for Cheyenne, Barbara, Ashton, and the rest of the team who helped give us such special memories.

The best wedding venue and vendors!!

This was the best place my husband and I could have picked! Cheyenne and her team made our elopement dreams come true! They helped us stay in budget while bringing our boho/rustic dream a reality. They are so kind and helpful during the craziness of COVID. They are the sweetest and most professional team. I encourage anyone to check them out because you won't regret it!!! Hands down the best

I literally cannot say enough good things about Oyster Bay Yacht Club. The venue is beautiful, the food was amazing, and Cheyenne and Barbara (coordinators) were so great to work with. They seriously made the whole wedding planning process virtually stress free. From vendor recommendations & coordinating, menu tasting, date changes (had to postpone d/t COVID), they were nothing short of amazing. They are responsive and really know what they are doing. I truly do not know what I would have done without them. I have two sisters that were both married at different venues in the greater Jacksonville area and my mom said OBYC was by far the easiest and most pleasurable to work with. All of our guests raved about our wedding-everyone had wonderful things to say about the venue, food, and service. I've been to weddings were the flow is awkward and bar service backed up but that was never the case at OBYC. I would 100% not change anything about my wedding and highly recommend OBYC if you are looking for a beautiful coastal venue!

Oyster Bay was the perfect place for our wedding! It was beautiful and everything that I could have ever dreamed of. Cheyenne was amazing and so helpful. I couldn't have done any of it without her! It was the best day and one that I will cherish always.

Amazing Venue and Staff

Oyster Bay Yacht Club was the best choice I could have made for our wedding. It was everything we wanted in a wedding venue and so much more. We knew from the first step onto the property that it was perfect for us. The setting is simply beautiful inside and out. We had our wedding outdoors on the lawn with beautiful trees with spanish moss as the backdrop for the ceremony. The reception venue is the perfect mix of coastal, classic, natural, and romantic vibes. We chose to have an open air reception where the inside and outside flows together with open glass doors around the dining room. We also chose to have food stations for cocktail hour and dinner and it worked great thanks to the wonderful staff! I lost count of how many times our guests told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Ashton was our wedding coordination and she was phenomenal! She thought of absolutely everything and made us feel so calm and comfortable in every aspect of planning, the rehearsal, and on our wedding day. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us including fielding endless emails and phone calls from me. OBYC truly was the most amazing venue and I cannot imagine our wedding anywhere else. Thank you so much to the staff for all of your time, patience, attention to detail, and for caring so much for your couples. We truly had the most amazing wedding day.

Perfect Day, Planned to a Tee!

We were married at OBYC October 19 2019. Our wedding week gave us great weather until our actual wedding day when a tropical storm was scheduled to hit us directly during our outdoor wedding ceremony. We sent some prayers to the big man upstairs, did a Mexican superstition (my sister in law is from Mexico and did it with us!) and dug knives in the ground in the morning and hoped it wouldn’t rain and miraculously it was a perfect day! However the thought of the tropical storm sent our lovely wedding planner Cheyenne straight into action with plan A, B and C all with the outcome of giving us our perfect day. In the planning of our big day we originally worked with Ashton until she went to work in a different place which did worry me a little having to shift to Cheyenne once the big decisions were already made but I had no reason to worry as she did amazing and everything went perfectly. Everything was thought out, all the details I wanted to have were there, I barely even had to think twice. Cheyenne was perfectly prepared for anything I might need or want, had the schedule and timing down to the minute and worked well with any and all vendors present! We had some last minute weather shifts through out our wedding week but I never felt pressured or pushed to hurry and make a decision which I appreciated. We had a perfect and intimate indoor/outdoor wedding and it was everything i wished for! Overall I felt very taken care of, had a magical day and wish I could work with everyone again!

I would recommend this vendor a million times over!

From start to finish Oyster Bay and their staff provided me with the most wonderful experience. Cheyenne was the most responsive and accommodating event coordinator and I would have been truly lost without her guidance.

Oyster Bay provides the most beautiful and intimate setting for your special day. The layout was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and indoor/outdoor reception. The hanging trees and marsh were the perfect backdrop to create whimsical ceremony pictures. The dock provides the perfect place to get jaw dropping sunset pictures.

The food... AMAZING! All my guests raved that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and some of the best food they’ve ever had period. The staff was so accommodating to my food and beverage wishes and created the most perfect dinner buffet.

Cheyenne, Barbara, and all my vendors created my dream ceremony and rehearsal space. They took every vision and idea I had and took it up a notch making the space absolutely beautiful. Cheyenne was so helpful in giving me ideas of what and what not to spend money on for decor. Cheyenne provided me with a list of wonderful vendors which eased so much stress and she was in contact with everyone the day of so I had absolutely no worries!

I left every planning meeting with a comfort knowing the Oyster Bay staff had my best interest in mind and listened to every idea and wish I had for my special day.

The day of went perfectly from start to finish. Cheyenne managed my time and schedule so everything had such a smooth transition. Any tiny obstacles were overcame with ease and at the end of the night I had no regrets!

I would recommend Oyster Bay Yacht Club to any bride wanting a beautiful setting that comes with such hard working and caring people!

Unique, Beautiful, Excellent!

We LOVE working at Oyster Bay- visit once and you’ll want to have your wedding there. The view is unmatched, the drive (or ferry!) over is so peaceful, the venue has an intimate feel, but can hold up to 150, the unique details, the ceremony location, we could go on and on...point being- if you haven't booked your venue yet, you need to have Oyster Bay on your list. We're there so frequently, and I, personally, have attended two family members' weddings there, that I can honestly say that they provide a truly wonderful experience. The Best Day Ever!!!!

Oyster Bay gave us the wedding of our DREAMS, and I cannot recommend them enough!! Having our reception at this venue was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process and every couple should really consider this venue! 😊

They make the process SO EASY! I was in college full time about to graduate, job hunting, and planning a move all near the end of our wedding planning process….and having the wedding coordinator at OBYC was a life saver. I worked with Ashton for most of my process, and then in the weeks before my wedding I worked with Cheyenne. Both were so kind and helpful in the wedding planning process. ❤

The whole team at the club went above and beyond what we were hoping for. It was so wonderful to not have to worry about the reception in the days leading up to the wedding because I knew they all had everything handled. They told me to drop off my décor a few days early and they would handle everything else (decorating, contacting vendors, handling food and beverage, etc.). I will forever be grateful for every ounce of effort and detail put into helping us have the best day ever! 😊

When I first walked into the main reception area, it took my breath away and I teared up. Cheyenne really understood the aesthetic I was looking for and had decorated everything so beautifully with the décor I had given her and some of the club’s décor. I can’t tell you how many people during and after the reception told me it was the most well organized, beautiful, and fun reception they had been to! We got SOOOOO many comments on how amazing the food was too. Shout out to the kitchen staff for helping me with my dietary restrictions! They made sure I had food that was safe for me to eat with my allergens, and they even packed a to go box for me to eat later that night! It was delicious and honestly some of the best food I have had! 😊

Everyone kept asking me “how I found this place” during and after the wedding, and it was thanks to all of the raving reviews they had online! Having gone through our wedding now I can confirm they deserve 100% of those raving reviews! ❤ This venue is one of the hidden secrets of the Fernandina area….I think every bride should consider them for their wedding day!

OBYC gave us the beautiful wedding of our dreams! It couldn’t have gone any better, and we are SO grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with such a talented team. I cannot recommend OBYC enough if you are looking for the wedding of your dreams and the best day ever! Book them…you won’t regret it!!! ❤

The most Beautiful Venue and Amazing Day

Oyster Bay Yacht Club was amazing from beginning to end! I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful wedding, everything you could ever imagine is taken care of by the coordinator Cheyenne Lamp, who is a god send, she makes sure everything is completely perfect without any worry to the bride and groom. The food was also absolutely amazing. I really could never say a bad word about this venue or the staff they were absolutely perfect in every way!! I can’t wait for our one year anniversary dinner back at the Yacht Club!!

Dream venue

We absolutely loved our experience with Oyster Bay. From the time I walked through the doors on my tour, I knew I would be getting married here and cancelled the rest of my tours. The team is fantastic. Ashtin and Cheyenne were so responsive and never hesitated to come up with ideas or help me troubleshoot a vender concern.

The bridal suite was absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't have picked a better place to get ready. Even better, the food and drinks were amazing! They worked to coordinate food options that met my limited food options and it was the first wedding I had been to where I heard nothing but great things about the food (something I was concerned about since it was buffet style).

Cheyenne also did an amazing job setting up the venue day of, which was no easy feat given that I had gone over tons of diagrams of my visions the week before. She perfectly executed my plans and made sure the day flowed absolutely smoothly.

I cannot say enough about how great our experience was at Oyster Bay!

The best choice

Choosing OBYC as our venue was the easiest and best decision we could have made. Ashton, the onsite coordinator, makes the entire planning experience stress free and fun. She is available whenever you need her and is pleasant to work with. There were so many things I didn't have to worry about because she was on it. All of our guests gave us endless compliments on how it was the best run and most beautiful wedding. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking.

"Your wedding is the BEST wedding I've ever been to!"

Oyster Bay Yacht Club is the perfect location for your dream wedding. There are a lot of beautiful venues in Northeast Florida, but the genuine care and concern from the staff at Oyster Bay is not easy to find. From the moment we pulled up to the venue for our initial tour all the way until our firework send off at the end of our wedding night, we had such a great experience. Ashton Hunter is simply amazing and she is one of the main reasons we chose the venue. From the very beginning I trusted Ashton and knew we were in great hands. I did not hire a wedding planner, and although I am in the hospitality sales industry, planning a wedding is a lot of work. Ashton helped me along the way with whatever I needed. She is super quick to reply to emails/calls, even if she may be off or on vacation, and will help find a solution to whatever your issue may be. She and the whole team were completely professional, attentive, and a true pleasure to work with. I honestly cannot express the amount of gratitude we feel toward the team.

Dream Destination Wedding!

Words cannot explain how grateful we are to have found Ashton at OBYC! She helped us flawlessly plan a destination wedding that was SO memorable for our family and friends. She was always available and so kind and helpful during the planning process, even when we were far away.

As far as the wedding day itself, It was better than we could have ever imagined! The food, the setting, the service - every little detail was taken care of so we could focus on just having fun and celebrating our marriage. Our guests were blown away and said it was one of the most unique and fun weddings they had ever been to. We give full credit to the crew at OBYC!!! Book the venue as soon as you can!!

We, our family, and friends are so thankful

The moment I saw that OBYC even existed, I knew this would the place my fiance and I would say I do to eternity. As someone that has been in the event industry and has worked at a great venue in the past, I always breathed a sigh of relief because I knew that everything was going to be TOP KNOTCH and done really well.
From the amazing weather God blessed us with, the tasty food, everyone telling us "this is the best wedding we'd ever been to," (and "best wedding food!") the beauty of the venue and the way they upkeep it so well, to Ashton being our guiding light through the entire year journey— no words can express my gratitude.
The staff is phenomenal and my husband and I feel so blessed and will never be able to get over our amazing day. Now back to reality for a second, yes, it is going to be the most expensive and fastest day of your entire life, but it is worth it! Savor and take in every moment you can.
We cannot wait to see our photos and to see all the amazing memories, beauty, and things we might have missed! Below are a few!

Hidden Gem Wedding Venue

We are so pleased with our choice to get married at Oyster Bay Yacht Club! This unique, timeless venue, tucked away on the marsh, was everything we could have dreamed of for our special day. Ashton was friendly, accommodating and professional from the start. Although she was working with many brides throughout our planning period, I felt like I was her only client. She was so attentive to our ideas, and worked hard to bring them to life. Additionally, the food was amazing! We definitely recommend this venue to anyone in the Jacksonville/ Fernandina area, or someone looking for a cute destination wedding.

The best wedding venue of all time!

Using Oyster Bay Yacht Club as my wedding venue was the best decision I ever made! The staff is so knowledgeable and organized. They have tons of experience and use it to provide you with the best wedding you could ever dream of. The meetings are stress free where every detail is handled without a hitch. We loved the space and being on the water. It's the perfect combination of coastal touches and elegance. Ashton Hunter was the perfect wedding coordinator. She is fun, kind, professional and great at her job! We loved everything about Oyster Bay. Could not have asked for a more perfect day!

Perfect Venue!

We got married at Oyster Bay on 10/6/18 and it was the most magical day ever! Oyster Bay is truly a hidden gem and is the most beautiful and perfect venue you could choose! Ashton and Terrie are truly spectacular. Ashton was there for us EVERY step of the way, throughout the planning process. We communicated regularly from the moment we booked the venue up until the day of the wedding. She is willing and able to help as little or as much as you need! She keeps a detailed timeline of all your vendors, their contact information, arrival time, set up time etc and updates it as you go through the planning process. Ashton was incredible the day of the wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly and according to plan. She is AMAZING!
Our guests arrived to Oyster Bay by trolley and raved about their experience.The venue, food, atmosphere and staff was exceptional! It was the best day of our lives and we are so thankful for Oyster Bay! We can't wait to go back and visit on our one year anniversary! Thank you guys for everything!

Wonderful Experience at OBYC for August Wedding

We loved this venue so much for our late August wedding. Ashton is a wonderful help throughout the entire planning, rehearsal and day-of process. It is a gorgeous venue, and would also highly recommend the onsite villa for getting ready. It is roomy and beautiful. Both the venue and villa have great spaces for indoor and outdoor photos. We were happy with all aspects of choosing this venue!

We arranged a corporate event at the OBYC which was amazing and perfect in every way! OBYC is an absolutely beautiful venue and Terrie Sanders and her team are awesome! Terrie is amazing, she captured every detail of our vision and did everything to make it happen. The staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. We were also very pleased with the presentation and quality of the food (buffet) and beverages served. The event exceeded our expectations and we received so many compliments from our guests who enjoyed the venue and had a great time!

These folks truly deserve every 5 star review. Ashton is a truly superb planner. We lived out of state, so all of our planning was done via email and phone calls. We wanted an appetizers only wedding, and they were more than willing to develop a personalized menu. The attention to detail was excellent, and they really put us at ease the day of. The venue is gorgeous inside and out. The classy, coastal vibe of the building is also comfortable. The space is beautiful with no decor, or easily adapted to any theme you like. All of the staff was wonderful the night of, as well. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

If you want an amazing, organized, stress free wedding, this is the place to go! They offer a beautiful, intimate setting with spectacular views! The staff is beyond organized and I honestly can not say enough good things about them. My wedding day was a breeze thanks to them! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a coastal venue.

Oyster Bay Yacht Club was by and far the best decision we made concerning our wedding! From the first meeting to deciding our dinner menu to asking silly questions about ties for grooms - the wedding planners were there within 24 hours with help. We mainly worked with Ashton throughout the process, but the day of the wedding (she went into labor) we worked with Cheyenne and Terri. I seriously cannot say enough good things about all 3 of the se wonderful, hard working, and thoughtful women. We opted to use the bridal suite to get ready - this was gorgeous, plenty of room, beautiful views, a full kitchen, and just steps from the venue. The venue was STUNNING!! I had many people tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they had every been to. The ceremony area was gorgeous and the perfect size, we had around 98 people in attendance. They have a great plan B if needed, but luckily enough we had 70 degree weather and sunny skies. For the reception, its kind of an inside/outside area but if it is too cold, they have heaters and plastic windows. I was never too cold or hot. They also have 2 fireplaces. The food was also amaaaazing. We chose shrimp and grits and grilled chicken with salsa as the main options. Our appetizers were chicken and waffle bites, jerk shrimp, and cheese and crackers. It was hands down the best night of my life. Also, your pictures will be stunning, they steal bride and groom for 15 minutes of sunset pictures (I have some down below). I don't have may professional ones back yet but I've put some up for y'all. If you don't choose Oyster Bay to host your perfect day, you're crazy!

I found OBYC online when looking for unqiue wedding venues in the Fernandina Beach area (I have family in the area). My husband and I both grew up on the water so when we arrived to the club we were both in awe of how beautiful it is. The prestine clubhouse is surrounded by beautiful water views and lush green landscape. But what sold us was how incredible Ashton and Cheyenne were from the moment we met them! We booked the venue on the first day we visited and I never once questioned that decision. Ashton was so organized and definately gave us great tips and advice. She was super responsive usually replying to any email within 24 hours. They were up front about the budget from day one so we knew exactly how much everything would cost. There were no hidden or last minute fees. Also, Ashton and Cheyenne really went out of their way to create special moments for my new husband and I. They made sure we had time to catch our breath and to grab a bite to eat. Not only is the staff really incredible but the food was top notch. We had shrimp & grits, chicken and a carving station. I can't tell you how many people raved over the buffet! Another great thing about OBYC is they have so many decor options that you can get away without going overboard. I opted for very simple greenery on the tables. Ashton and Cheyenne used candles, lanterns, etc to fill in each table and make them look incredible and romantic. It was truly beautiful! The only complaint I recieved at the wedding was about the bugs. At the rehersal, we were eaten alive on the Marshview Canopy Lawn. I began to stress but Ashton assured me they would spray and it wouldnt be a problem. She was right, the ceremony was beautiful, no sign of bugs. However, the cocktail hour on the veranda was a little uncomfortable until the sun went down. Keep that in mind when choosing your date. We got married in February but it was a record high temp. You won't be disappointed with OBYC!

Oyster Bay was a spectacular venue for our wedding! The food was amazing (you MUST get the shrimp n grits), the views are stunning, but best of all the service is outstanding. Ashton helped plan every step of our wedding. In a very stressful time, she was always available with helpful advice or reassuring words. She was flexible, accommodating, and a joy to work with. All of the staff at OBYC went above and beyond, down to fixing our plates for dinner and keeping drinks in our hands all night. They made me feel like a princess! Ashton even scrubbed spilled red wine off my wedding dress!! Ashton and the team at OBYC truly thought of everything to make me and my groom, and all of our family and friends comfortable and having fun. Our friends and family have raved about the gorgeous venue, the delicious food, and the spectacular service. We so appreciate OBYC!!!

I cannot say enough about the Venue and the service team at Oyster Bay Yacht Club. We had the luxury of holding our corporate meeting at this location. The venue is absolutely beautiful. The outside deck area is very intimate and everyone had a wonderful time mingling together before our meal. The attention to details from the staff is amazing and they made our group feel very comfortable and did everything in their power to ensure our business dinner was a success. The food is fantastic. Our group thoroughly enjoyed themselves and my job as the planning manager was definitely made easy with the help from Ashton and the team at Oyster Bay. Hands down best venue and staff ever! Terrie, Ashton and team were nothing short of AMAZING! We knew right away from our very first meeting with Ashton that this was the place for our Wedding weekend. They went to great lengths to ensure our big day went off with out a hitch. Every meeting and phone call we had with OBYC was extremely professional and well thought out. There are not enough kind words in the world to describe our entire experience with Oyster Bay. We worked primarily with Ashton, and she is nothing short of a rockstar. My husband and I are lazy event planners - we are relaxed about details to a fault. I say this because I cannot emphasize how little work we put into our stunning wedding. Ashton took our requests and (very) few decorations, and created the most stunning, gorgeous wedding. She's basically a magician. We have received countless feedback about the elegance of the venue and the food. My family has Celiac disease, requiring a strict gluten-free diet. The staff at Oyster Bay created the most delicious gluten-free meal for all our guests - from dinner rolls and cheddar jalepeno cornbread to shrimp and grits that were to die for. (We also HIGHLY recommend the brisket.) Again - I'm not a planner. We wanted a gorgeous wedding, of course, but we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed engagement and I give Ashton all the credit for that. The morning of my wedding, I read a book and sipped orange juice and STILL walked into the most stunning reception venue I've ever seen. (Graceful, lovely, perfect Ashton spent the night before re-gluing our centerpieces back together because they had fallen apart.) If you are looking to have an easy breezy engagement while still having a wedding that resembles your Pinterest boards, book Oyster Bay. If you are a planner and have all the details figured out and love to be hands on, book Oyster Bay. I cannot imagine working with anyone else and would happily give them more stars in the ratings if possible.

As a wedding vendor here in NE Florida there was absolutely no other place I wanted more than Oyster Bay. It is absolutely magical in there. And Fernandina provided my out of town guests a destination wedding weekend that we will never forget! The food is excellent!!! The staff and service is five star all around!!! Their attention to detail and their willingness to help me with anything I asked for (Ashton actually helped me get in my gown) - is just outstanding. Our wedding at the Oyster Bay Yacht Club was a dream. The entire day could not have been more beautiful or run more smoothly. That’s because the staff was extremely prepared and the venue was absolutely stunning!!
Let’s talk about the Dream Team @ the OBYC...
From our first encounter with Terrie, Ashton and the Team at OBYC we knew our wedding was in great hands. They made the process of planning a wedding extremely low stress by recommending vendors and walking us through every step of the process (and I mean every little step - they seriously didn’t miss a single detail). They were attentive and enthusiastic as though we were their only wedding, but their organization and expertise made it abundantly clear they’re seasoned pros who've planned many weddings.
The costs also minimized stress. Ashton regularly updated us on the total costs as decisions were made and head count changed so we always knew exactly where we stood with our budget. There were no hidden fees or surprise expenses at the last minute. The final costs were beyond fair and exactly as originally quoted.
…and about that GORGEOUS venue...
The venue itself and the property it sits are even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! The Plan B and Plan C ceremony locations Ashton showed us in case of poor weather were both beautiful as well. The weather forecast was a real nail-biter all week so It was such a relief our venue did not depend on perfect weather to be beautiful!
We chose to rent the villa on the property and were so glad we did. It was very convenient getting ready there and it was a great location for the wedding party to meet-up. Also, it’s the perfect setting for getting ready and first look pictures! The ferry ride was the perfect first impression for our guests. The Captain even stopped so they could watch the dolphins nearby! We've had numerous guests tell us it was the best wedding they've ever attended.

Our very high expectations were 100% exceeded for our wedding at OBYC. I could go on for a decade about how amazing our whole experience was / still is even after our wedding.

The Venue:
The venue is so unique and beautiful and it truly sells itself. We loved that it was perfect on its own - even without flowers and linens and additional decor. It didn't need much added, which was great for me because I wanted a place that was "easy", fun, intimate and elegant while still having the coastal vibe.

OBYC ROCKSTAR TEAM
This team truly "sold" the venue for us. My now husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Terrie when we visited the venue and we instantly fell in love with the venue and the team. Making you feel special is something that just comes naturally to Terrie and Ashton. This was the case from the second we first came and looked at the property. They would follow up with us to check in, keep us on track with necessary decisions, give us ideas, allow us to bring family over to see the venue, respond instantly to our questions and always make us feel like we were the most important people in the world. They also provide a lot of flexibility to ensure the day is what you want. They never once said you have to use this vendor or do it this way. They simply get to know you and your style and will do everything in their power to make it perfect. The day of, the team ensured everyone was fed and had a drink at all times. We came to our table with a full plate of food already prepared for us so we could eat and then go say hello to people. They were so attentive and positive and a true joy to work with! After the wedding they also follow up and check in - truly make you feel special all the time!

My daughter was married at OBYC in March 2017 and they exceeded our expectations in all categories. Terrie, Ashton and Becky are the "Dream Team" that made her wedding day perfect. The food was excellent, and the chef went above and beyond the call of duty by preparing a special meal for a guest who had last minute dietary concerns. The wait staff are among the finest, giving such personal attention to our guest that we are still getting rave reviews!
I highly recommend them for a wedding or event of any kind.

March 18, 2017 was THE BEST DAY EVER!! Oyster Bay Yacht Club in quaint Fernandina Beach, Florida provided the venue for the wedding of our daughter, Sarah's dreams!! From the first time we toured the venue and met the lovely Terrie Sanders...to the sparkler send off 10 months later...our experience was WONDERFUL!! The entire staff, the amazing Chef Sean and the beauty of the venue is beyond a winning combination! It was the PERFECT place for their "Happily Ever After" to begin! Such a magnificent day!!! I'm a VERY happy, Thankful Mother of the Bride!!

I knew that this was the perfect spot for our wedding reception from the moment that we walked out on the deck. It was the perfect day and they brought our vision to life. This was easy! Easily 5.0/5.0. My fiancé and I were so fortunate to get married at Oyster Bay. We had considered many of the venues in the Amelia Island and Jacksonville area. We were confident in our decision at OBYC, and we were SO right! You will not meet anyone more accommodating, friendly, quick to respond, and invested than Terrie and Ashton. They are seriously a dream team and want this day to be perfect and smooth for you. They truly make this venue what it is. The venue is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and we had so many of our guests comment on how attentive the staff was. Your photography here will be amazing :). OBYC was the first and only wedding venue we looked at! I can't say enough good things about Terrie Sanders and her staff. Everything was absolutely perfect - my guests loved the atmosphere, the food, and the hospitality. I had a guest count of 105 and it was the perfect fit - plenty of room for people to enjoy the dance floor and also take in the views of the beautiful sunset and water. We had our reception and ceremony at OBYC as a lot of our guests were from out of town and I wanted to use the river ferry for the transportation to the ceremony (we used trolleys after the reception) - it was such a unique experience for our guests! With our wedding being the weekend after Hurricane Matthew, Terrie and the OBYC crew went to work to make sure all the debris was cleaned up and all the landscaping and deck area were safe for our guests so that we could stick with our "plan A"! We also rented the villa next door to OBYC for everyone to get ready in and it made the day totally stress free! It was so easy to have everyone in one place and the villa is gorgeous - all the amenities that you would ever need and plenty of room for everyone to get ready! When you look in the Amelia Island area for weddings, you see a lot of hotels in the area will come up (Omni & Ritz) - but what I loved about OBYC was that it was so quaint and private - it is truly a hidden gem!

If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars, I would do so! I cannot say enough about how wonderful my daughter's wedding reception at OBYC was! Terrie and Ashton went over and above to make sure that it was the reception she dreamed of and they were upfront about pricing, so we were never wondering about the final costs. They are so professional and EASY to work with. They anticipated every possible glitch and took care of things before they could happen. The week before the wedding, Ashton called every vendor, (florist, bakery, band, etc) and made sure that all details were taken care of so that everything ran smoothly. When you use OBYC you are getting everything at one stop. Terrie and Ashton are professional event planners with years of experience planning weddings. The club provides first-class cuisine, which was a delight to all of our guests. They accommodated our requests to modifications to the menu. The wait staff and bartenders were friendly, attentive and fun. The location is spectacular. The club itself has a warm, cozy, coastal feel and it overlooks the intracoastal waterway. I just cannot say enough great things about OBYC! It is a well-oiled machine. As a mother of the bride, it made my life so easy! If you want a perfect wedding with no stress, OBYC is the place to go.

First of all, let me start by saying this review is way overdue and I've now come to realize that I put it off for so long because our wedding day was the happiest day of our lives and writing this review was like the final chapter of our wedding story and it's bittersweet. Our wedding would not have been the same without Oyster Bay. This venue means everything to us. From the first moment we discovered this "hidden gem" online, I knew it was the PERFECT place! I didn't even need to see it in person to know that it embodied everything we wanted in a wedding venue....then we met Terrie & Team & that sealed the deal.

Today is officially our one year anniversary and it honestly is bringing me to tears (as I'm writing this) to think of how wonderful of a wedding we truly had. From the amazing weather, to the delicious food, gorgeous decorations, wonderful service. It was magical. It was perfect. And it was all made possible by Terrie Sanders and the entire Oyster Bay staff.

I was not the most laid back bride, I had a very precise vision that I spent 2 years researching and coming up with and I was absolutely blown away that Terrie and her team had only a few hours to literally turn my dreams into a reality. It was breathtaking. The venue itself is honestly a little oasis tucked back in the marsh with views that are picture perfect. The venue has such a great neutral pallet that it requires little to no design but for the brides like me who wanted to really focus on high design it's the perfect place to let your special color scheme go to work.

As for the food, it's AMAZING! I've been to quite a few weddings recently and it's by far the BEST.

I highly recommend hiring Terrie as your day of coordinator. She will go above and beyond and will be there for you through the entire process. She will leave no detail unturned and will make sure you have the most amazing, stress free wedding day.

Words cannot express how unbelievable this venue was for us. It is truly a hidden gem with the live oaks and palms. The view is spectacular and the building is something out of a movie. We had a spectacular September wedding there recently and from start to finish it was amazing. Chef Sean and his team created a culinary feast for us and everyone raved about the food. We opted for a few signature drinks which were refreshing and delicious. The staff and service of this venue are beyond any expectation we could have had. Terrie, Ashton and Becky are true professionals and you know they love what they do by how amazing they made our day turn out. They took care of everything and anything I needed from start to finish, which made for a less stressful time in the hectic planning process. They guide you through every little detail and made me feel at ease with each step. Not only are these girls wonderful at their jobs, but they also have hearts of gold and I am blessed to call them my friends. If you are looking for a unique coastal setting with food and a view that will blow your guests minds, choose Oyster Bay for your wedding. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We just had my daughter's wedding at this venue and without hesitation was the best wedding because of the excellent planning and execution by Oyster Bay and their entire staff. From the first day of meetings with Terri and her staff we could not be any happier with the service provided. They looked to every single detail and everything was done with the utmost professional care. Thank you Oyster Bay for the excellent job in providing the most memorable day! We highly recommend anyone who is looking for the perfect venue for their wedding or any other celebration. The food was amazing, the service, bartenders, everyone took such good care of all our guests.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff, food and service were fantastic. We held our wedding welcome reception for here for $150++ guests and everything was perfect. We received many compliments and the planning process was a breeze with Terrie and her team. I highly recommend visiting the venue before you make any decisions as it will far exceed your expectations as the pictures don't do it justice.

OBYC is a fantastic venue for a rehearsal dinner. Terrie and her staff did an awesome job in planning the event, and setting up and decorating the place. The food and beverage service was wonderful. The evening was enjoyed by all and we received numerous positive comments from the guests that attended.

It's taken almost a year to write this review, but looking back I can honestly still say that choosing Oyster Bay Yacht Club was the best wedding planning decision my husband and I made. Terrie and Louann made our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) almost completely stress free-- NOT an easy feat in wedding planning! They accommodated our guests so well and were willing to make last minute changes as unexpected situations arose. And to this day, friends and family still rave about how good the food was. "Best wedding food ever!"

For the ceremony, we ended up having to go with our rain plan: a tent over the front lawn. At first I was disappointed, but it ended up being just as gorgeous and beautifully intimate. We were cocooned by beautiful plants and greenery. It was a blessing in disguise!

I also loved that Oyster Bay only plans one wedding each weekend, so we weren't dealing with the logistics of working around other events and groups. I've been to several weddings at venues where this is not the case, and the stress was through the roof!

Oyster Bay Yacht Club is a gorgeous venue with gorgeous scenery, wonderfully helpful and accommodating staff, and out of this world food. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

If you are considering a wedding event at Oyster Bay Yacht Club with Terrie Sanders running the show look no further. My wife and I can tell you from first-hand experience what a tremendous job Terrie and her staff did for us and our daughter. It truly was a very memorable, well received by all and stress free event for the families and friends involved, as much as weddings can be. From the first day we sat down and started to talk about the planning aspects, Terrie’s gentle yet thorough guidance was outstanding. Planning a wedding long distance is not an easy task but she made it flow smoothly. Her recommendations were well presented and easy to follow knowing that these types of emotional situations can be difficult when comes to decision making. When we did come back with suggested changes to the plans, Terrie was very receptive and she demonstrated more than once her flexibility all the way up to the last minute. We scheduled our event in June and we were lucky the weather cooperated with the outdoor venue however that was also covered by Terrie with back-up plans for the “just in case”, which by the way we did not have to implement. We chose the buffet option for the main course. The food and food service was excellent and timely and worked well for us. The after party flew by with fun had by all with Terrie and her staff in the background making sure things went smoothly. We arranged the transportation for the guests as suggested and that was the way to go. It worked out perfectly. Finally, when it came to the financial end of things, we felt we were treated very fairly, everything was discussed up front and there were no surprises in the end. It was worth every penny we paid and we know that only happened because of Terrie’s professionalism and caring touch. Oyster Bay is a great designation wedding site that we as parents of the bride felt very fortunate to experience.

My husband and I grew up on the east coast of Florida. We both enjoyed the beaches and waterways that surround our hometowns and knew we wanted those beautiful views on our special day. When my husband's mom mentioned Oyster Bay Yacht Club, located in his hometown, we fell in love with the clubhouse instantly. We got engaged in St. Augustine at the Castillo de San Marcos so the shell bridges, walls, and fireplace were added features that made OBYC even more perfect for us. We were so pleased with the wonderful Terrie Sanders and her team at our initial visit, tasting, rehearsal, and wedding day.

We decided to do both our ceremony and reception at OYBC. The weather in Florida isn't always predictable which made me a little worried about having a outdoor wedding When we we heard there was an 80% chance of rain, Terrie, her team, and my florist worked together to make "Plan B" in case of rain even better than "Plan A." Miraculously, the rain never came! When the staff learned that I left my beautiful veil in Tampa, they went out of their way to make one for me. I was so appreciative for the generosity they showered us with.

Guests frequently comment on how beautiful the venue was, the gorgeous coastal views, and the delicious food. We had the best time with our loved ones dancing the night away next to the pool and fireplace. I am so happy that we chose OBYC as our venue and highly recommend Terrie, Cassie, Chef, and the OYBC team. They were organized, talented, and responsive from day one and so easy to work with.

OBYC is southern, coastal, casual elegance-exactly the kind of venue our daughter dreamed of finding for her 3/19/16 wedding ceremony and reception. Terrie Sanders and her staff are AMAZING! They all have a passion for what they do. We can not emphasize enough, just how deeply they care about their brides. They will do everything they can to help you achieve your wedding vision. They far exceeded our expectations, and we are confident that they will exceed yours! Our guests loved the beautiful yacht club and the gorgeous views surrounding them. They raved about the outstanding food and service they received. They had a blast dancing the night away by the lit fireplace, and they loved the ambience of the pool with the string lights and the lanterns. Their only complaint was that the night went too fast! We will forever be grateful to Terrie and everyone there for their guidance and assistance at every stage of the wedding planning. We feel so blessed that we had such a wonderful experience! There are not enough good things I can say to truly describe how wonderful the team is at Oyster Bay Yacht Club. From the second I inquired about hosting my wedding at the venue, I was treated like a bride. The team is quick to respond, gave great feedback and was sure to accommodate any of my requests, even those that were sometimes a little outlandish. I chose to use their team to help coordinate the wedding and do not regret doing so. The wedding went off without a hitch and was absolutely stunning. They made sure everything flowed perfectly throughout the night and made sure our guests were happy. The guests were floored by how beautiful the venue is and even more impressed by the food and service that was provided. To this day our guests continue to compliment the beautiful décor, the amazing service and an overall perfect experience. I highly recommend this venue to anyone interested in hosting a wedding or event here. You absolutely will not regret it.

We planned our wedding from long distance, but the care and attention Terrie and her team paid to us made us feel like we were down the road. Seriously, words cannot express how special Oyster Bay Yacht Club is, and how well the team takes care of you from beginning to end. They have a system down that is smart and makes the entire process stress free and perfect. Terrie and Cassie were always quick to respond to my (millions) of questions and provided feedback based on their knowledge and past experience. There was never a time they were unavailable to me, making me feel like I was the only wedding she was planning. Terrie and her team exude creativity and confidence, and pulled together the perfect wedding reception. They went out of their way to bring our vision to life in their gorgeous space. Not to mention she allows you to use some of the club’s personal items, which is so generous of them! Based on this, and the fact that club is spectacular on its own, we didn’t need to add many decorations. This allowed us to splurge on food and beverages, which are 5 star quality! All night long, all I heard from guests were compliments about the space, the décor, the food, the cocktails, and the service…really there was not one single complaint. The team exceeded our expectations in every way, and allowed us to focus on enjoying ourselves. I would, without hesitation, recommend OBYC to anyone, as they are truly amazing. Thank you Terrie, Cassie, and everyone else behind the scenes. You guys really captured what we wanted and we couldn’t have been happier.

My wife and I went around Amelia Island looking for an affordable, beautiful, responsive wedding venue. We originally tentatively agreed to have our wedding at a different venue, boy were we lucky they were not responsive at all! The moment we pulled up to Oyster Bay and were greeted by the amazing Terrie Sanders and her crew, we were sold. Terrie and her staff go above and beyond to make your special day just that. The food was incredible, the venue was gorgeous, the staff was second to none, the day was perfect. We highly suggest booking Oyster Bay for your special day, you really won't regret it!!

Oyster Bay is simply AMAZING! From start to finish, Terrie and the team are an absolute joy to work with. The venue is gorgeous on its own without any decorations. Overall, I would recommend Oyster Bay to any and everyone. Classic elegance at its finest. They made me feel like I was their only bride. I can't tell you how amazing it was to work with the entire team. I didn't have to ask for a single thing on the day of the wedding. We had a personal server for me and my husband - she kept our drinks full, made our plate (and a couple to-go plates with food and cake), brought me my change of shoes, fans, water, really any and everything we needed. They set up the venue in a way that I couldn't have dreamed up. They have such a creative mindset and it just blew me away. Everything looked far more gorgeous than I ever could have imagined. I can't thank the entire team enough - Terrie, Ashton, Becky - you ladies are simply amazing. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Wow. I cannot say enough about our entire experience with Oyster Bay Yacht Club. From the first moment we arrived on site, we were completely blown away, and our experience kept getting better with every visit, email, and phone call.

Terrie, the lead coordinator, is flawless in her professionalism and handling of each and every detail. She is so thorough in gathering all the necessary information, making sure every part of your vision becomes a reality. She send emails and texts at any point during the day, reassuring and calming your nerves, confirming vendors, verifying details, adding suggestions, and just asking if you are doing ok! The day of the wedding she is tirelessly running around from dawn until after dusk making sure everything is in place and perfect.

The staff only added to the wonderful experience we had there. We got to meet and personally know the head chef, bartenders, servers, and other coordinators. As opposed to just being another date in the books, they all knew us by name. The food, oh my the food! OBYC doesn't just provide you with typical wedding day food. Everyone expects the typical chicken breast, vegetables, and side dishes when they go to a wedding. The food that they prepared was 100% customized to our tastes and desires and can rival any 5 star resort or restaurant! Our guests felt as if they were being pampered and treated to an award winning dinner, which only added to their enjoyment of the day.

Staff and food aside, the venue is absolutely unbelievable! The colors, accommodations, views, and scenery are straight out of a dream. Our photos look so incredible because there was no bad place for our photographer to shoot! For my husband and I, obviously this wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. But for our guests, it really was the wedding of the year! We still get comments about how amazing their experience was and how absolutely superb the venue was. I cannot imagine my wedding with any other venue but OBYC!

Oyster Bay Yacht Club was the perfect place for us to get married. Terrie is the absolute most dedicated and genuine wedding planner out there! I just cannot thank Terrie and her team enough for all that they did to help make our Wedding Day PERFECT. I look back on the day, and wish I could relive it all over and over again. From the planning process, to the final details meeting, to the execution of the event, the OBYC team was truly flawless!

Being a destination wedding, I was worried small details might slip through the cracks, not with Terrie! She is always one step ahead of you, and doing everything she can to keep you calm, cool and collected. On the day of my wedding, my bustle button was missing on my dress, what could have turned into a disaster, was quickly averted by Louanne. She stitched up my bustle, so we could party the night away. Talk about going above and beyond!

If you’re considering any other wedding venue in Amelia Island, stop looking! The Oyster Bay Yacht Club is truly the most beautiful venue with the best service in the area.

I'm not even sure where to begin! My husband and I planned our wedding from Atlanta, and Terrie and her team at Oyster Bay Yacht Club could not have made it easier. I forgot my garter, and Terrie's assistant quickly offered to make me one. A guest ripped his pants, so Terrie drove him to Kohl's to get new ones. Because of how quickly and discreetly they handle everything, several of my bridesmaids might have been concerned the day of because I was not stressed at all.

I knew from the moment I first heard about OBYC that I wanted to get married there, and they did everything to make my dream a reality. Terrie won the toughest critic (my dad) over. OBYC provides each bride and groom with a vendor list to help with planning and I used someone from almost every category. Because food and beverage is handled at the venue and with the help of the vendor list I was able to create the perfect day without hiring an additional planner. We chose food stations instead of buffet and our guests are still raving about the food. I haven't heard any of the typical wedding complaints about lines or unorganization.

The day could not have been more perfect, and my expectations were exceeded. Even my now husband's expectations were blown away, and he is also a tough critic having worked in the hospitality industry for years. He said the day and night felt like a fairytale, and I couldn't agree more. The whole process was so fun from beginning to end... I can't wait for a vow renewal in a few years ;)

Terrie and her team were simply amazing! From the day my husband and I met Terrie, I knew she wouldn't let me down! Terrie is the sweetest lady and was truly made for this job! Not once during the planning was I nervous! I knew Terrie would deliver a perfect day for Jeff and I. The team at Oyster Bay were incredible. They were so kind and made sure our day was great. It was an amazing experience working with everyone at Oyster Bay. I would recommend Oyster Bay to any bride and groom that want to have an incredible, amazing, and unforgettable wedding day! Our family and friends all had an amazing time and they are still raving about Oyster Bay. Where do I begin?!?!? From the first phone call I had with Becky, I felt at "home." Becky and Terri helped our vision become a reality! They recommended amazing vendors and had such beautiful ideas to help bring our special day together! Although we had rain prior to the ceremony, it was picture perfect! Terrie actually went to our guests hotel herself, to make sure everyone was aware of our sudden change in plans! Customer service that far exceeded expectations!
My guests loved the venue, staff and raved over the amazing food! During the actual ceremony and reception, my husband and I were able to relax, enjoy our friends and family and not worry about the "little things"....they made sure everything was on schedule and just how we envisioned them! The staff was amazing and professional! A day/night we will never forget! We plan on returning every year around our anniversary to celebrate at OBYC!
