As a couple who LOVES food, it was critical to us that we found the perfect caterer. We spent a LONG time searching for someone who offered interesting flavor combinations and ideas rather than the same, classic-but-boring staple wedding food options. We knew we had found something special when we found Ovy Signature Catering, and let me assure you, they did not just live up to our expectations - they exceeded it.
I cannot encourage you enough to at least sample what they have to offer, because it will convince you of their culinary skill and expertise. They drew upon flavors and ideas from all over the world. Everything they served was beautiful and delicious, and even though we were stuffed by the end, we could never deny ourselves another bite. Their expertise was also evident as we developed our particular menu in regards to the available facilities at our venue (the Old Post Office), as well as to our own tastes and preferences. In fact, we suggested a few options to round out our menu that they were happy to implement. By the end, we truly felt like we had developed a custom, personalized menu that fit our creativity and preferences.
Even more than the food, I cannot praise the people behind this company enough, because they were the bedrock for our amazing celebration. Ati is not only a wonderful person but incredibly thoughtful and reliable - we relied on him MANY times, for suggested wine pairings, ways to adapt the menu, and many other tasks. He also cheerfully accepted all of our last-minute requests with zero hesitation. Ovy and his team were incredible on our wedding day - they worked quickly, efficiently, and were a massive help whenever we needed assistance. And we received SO many compliments on our food from our guests, many of which said they had never had such fantastic food at a wedding before.
If you haven't been convinced that this is the right caterer for you yet, let me add a few other things that were key for our selection of this company. It was critical for us that our caterer allowed us to supply some of our own food, from my partner's home country. Ovy Signature Catering was very happy to help us serve it. We also wanted to serve our food "family-style" so that our guests could sample everything. I don't believe that every caterer allows such a thing, but Ovy Signature Catering was happy to oblige.
I hope you and your partner will do yourself a favor and try this company, because I assure you - they are the best in the business, and will exceed all of your culinary hopes and expectations. -

Hands down the most delicious food ever!
We originally reached out because I had tried their food at a wedding I attended and once our planning got started I knew exactly who I needed to reach out to. Ovy, Ati, and their team were extremely kind and SO easy to work with. Our tasting completely blew us away! Every bite was incredible, and our bellies felt full for what honestly felt like 2 weeks after.
On the wedding day, the food was nothing short of spectacular. We received SO many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. Every dish was perfectly prepared and absolutely flavorful. I still dream about their butternut squash soup and wish I could eat it every single day!
If you're a foodie like us and want your wedding guests raving, your taste buds celebrating, this is your team. Truly amazing from start to finish! -

Best food ever! Amazing communication!
Ovy, Ati, and their team were the best! Many guests said this was the best food ever at a wedding. They were on multiple venues' lists of recommended caterers, and after reaching out to 15+ for prices they were one of the cheapest, and the food options were so unique and delicious. In addition to the hors d'oeuvres and main meal, we added on a dessert table and coffee/tea and everything looked really nice. We also did a late night snack through Ovy! They were great with communication, professional, kind, and we highly recommend everyone reach out to them! -

From our very first conversation with Ati, we knew we wanted them to cater our wedding. And then we had our tasting and we were absolutely blown away! Our family members we brought with still talk about all of the incredible food we ate that day. It was so hard to decide on our menu because everything was delicious. Ati and Ovy were so easy to work with. It was nice that with all of the stress that comes with planning a wedding, we knew we weren't going to have to worry about anything related to catering because they had it handled. Whenever we reached out with a question, they got back to us almost immediately. I remember sending Ati a completely not urgent email and he responded within a few minutes asking if we wanted to chat about it on the phone and we had all of our questions answered within an hour of sending that email. Everything went perfectly smooth on the wedding day. They set aside drinks and hors d'oeuvres for us during cocktail hour and everything tasted exactly like we remembered it from the initial tasting. The main courses as well- the meats were cooked perfectly and the presentation of the dishes was stunning. Again, just as we remembered it from the tasting. The staff came to check in on us many times throughout the night and even grabbed us drinks from the bar during dinner. Our guests loved the food- we heard nothing but glowing reviews after the wedding. Many of the guests were even going up to Ovy to tell him how incredible his food was. They sent us home with one of each of the main courses at the end of the night and Ati called to check in on us the day after the wedding. From the very first contact to after the wedding day and every moment in between, it was so enjoyable and stress-free working with Signature Catering by Ovy. We cannot recommend them enough. -

Ovy’s Signature Catering was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, Ati was a joy to work with. He is energetic, communicative, and genuinely cares about creating an amazing experience. Throughout the planning process he was patient, helpful, and always made us feel like a priority. Our other vendors also talked about how wonderful he was, which let us know this is who he truly is every day, not just with clients watching.
Chef Ovy is incredible. Our tasting was not only delicious but so generous. They brought out additional dishes and elements just to be sure we were completely satisfied with what we chose. They were flexible with adjustments, and anytime we liked parts of two different dishes, they offered great solutions.
What impressed us most was the wedding day itself. The food was outstanding. We had almost 200 people, and everything tasted just as amazing as it did during the tasting. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The entire team was professional, kind, and wonderful to have on site. Their value, service, and food are truly unmatched. We would recommend them to anyone! -

We decided to work with Ovy Signature for our wedding and they were nothing short of amazing. During our first meeting with Ati, we knew we wanted to move forward with Ovy Signature. We had a fantastic tasting in which we were able to taste an assortment of hors d’oeuvres, main course meals, and deserts. Everything that we ate was truly terrific, which made it even more difficult to choose what we wanted our guests to eat. The main dishes that we went with was the chicken, beef, and risotto selections which were absolutely incredible. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was and some even asked for their information so they can hire them for future events. Also, the presentation of the hors d’oeuvres and main dishes were were simply elegant. Since we aren’t huge dessert people, they were kind enough to create us a beautiful s’mores bar which was a massive hit. The staff were extremely helpful with our needs and made sure that we and all our guests were well taken care of. One of us if a huge dirty martini person, so they even special made homemade blue cheese stuffed olives for a garnish. After our wedding ceremony, we made sure to take 10 minutes to ourselves, and Ovy and his team were kind enough to bring us a plate of hors d’oeuvres to ensure we were able to enjoy a light snack before entering cocktail hour to mingle - they also remembered both of our favorite cocktails and had those prepared for us as well. All in all, we would absolutely recommend Ovy Signature to anyone who is in need of a caterer. -

OSC was incredible. Multiple guests told us that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The service was truly unbelievable - I cannot say enough about how much we and our guests LOVED the staff. The bartenders crushed it and there was hardly ever a line to get drinks. They provided beautiful linens and glassware that made the room look so special.The food was served exactly on schedule and very efficiently! They executed a fairly complicated room flip (and one that had never been done at the venue before) absolutely perfectly. It was wonderful to see our vision come to life.
They were the BEST to work with during the planning process - incredibly responsive, so accommodating for all of our bespoke requests, and just so nice and collaborative. Ati was very positive and gregarious. Ovy is a little more reserved but very kind and an absolute pro. The food itself was delicious and exactly like the tasting. Plating and presentation was showstopping. The shortrib mashed chive mashed potato was a perfect dish. They were also able to make a wide variety of cuisines: Mexican chicken, Indian Samosas, bruschetta. It was all so well seasoned and flavorful.
They saved extra meals for us since it was challenging for me to eat at dinner, and it was such a treat being able to come home and have such incredible food to cap off the best day of our lives. I could certainly go on about how great they were - the absolute BEST caterer in town! 100/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

WOW! The sheer number of guests that came up to us during/after our wedding to compliment the food!! Working with Ovy Catering team was a dream from start to finish. At the beginning of our planning process, we met with Ati to discuss our specific vision for food and planned a tasting to select our entrees/appetizers - this helped us feel confident in the quality of food and we also had an absolute blast at the tasting! Ati worked with us every step of the way to make sure that everything went off without a hitch, and kept us feeling comfortable throughout the entire process. And truly - whatever you think when you hear 'wedding food' - throw it out the window. This was restaurant quality, amazing food! I've been dreaming about the short rib for days! -

If you are looking for a wedding caterer, look no farther than Ovy's. They were the absolute best. SO many people came up to us afterwards and said this was the best wedding food they'd ever had. A friend texted me the other day saying she's still thinking about the vegan curry. (Vegan!!) Plus the staff went above and beyond, helping us deal with flower fiascos, fluffing out my train right before I walked down the aisle, and bonding with our guests at the bar. The fun they had made our night all the more magical. They are also a joy to work with and are a beautiful company that acts like a family. Book them if you can!! -

Best Wedding Food Ever - Beyond our Expectations!
We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding catering experience! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and had all of our guests talking—it truly elevated the entire evening. The dessert table was stunning and such a hit, and the late-night Chicago-style hotdogs were the perfect surprise touch that everyone loved. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had!
Ati and Ovy were very attentive and communicative throughout the planning process and on the big day, making sure every detail was perfect. We are so grateful for their incredible service and talent. Highly recommend!!

Working with Ovy Catering for our wedding was an absolute dream. From the very beginning, Ovy and Ati made us feel so comfortable and truly listened to our vision. During our tasting, they took the time to understand our wants and needs, and from there they went above and beyond to create the perfect menu for our multicultural wedding, blending Middle Eastern, Black, and White cultures seamlessly through food.
Throughout the entire planning process, they stayed in constant communication with us, allowing us to adjust and refine the menu until it felt exactly right. Ovy and Ati made my husband and I feel like family every step of the way, and their care and passion for what they do shined through.
On the wedding day, everything was perfect. The plating and presentation were stunning, and the food itself was out of this world. From the hors d’oeuvres to the salads, dinner, cake, and even the late-night snack, every single bite was immaculate. So many of our guests came up to us to say it was the BEST wedding food they have EVER had and we couldn’t agree more!!

We were beyond impressed with the catering staff we hired for our wedding they truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious, with standout dishes like the Nigerian Jollof rice and chicken with fried plantain that had our guests raving, and the Thai Vegetable Coconut Curry with Rice dish vegetarian friends was just as flavorful and satisfying. It was clear that every dish was prepared with care and expertise. The staff accommodated all dietary needs seamlessly, and the presentation was beautiful.
What truly set this team apart, though, was their outstanding service. As the bride and groom, we were busy greeting our guests, and the staff noticed that our plates had cooled and graciously brought us fresh, hot meals without us even needing to ask. Hiring Signature Catering by Ovy was the best decision we made for our wedding. As an Italian American with a wife from a Thai and Indian background, we initially worried about finding a menu that would please our diverse family. However, Ovy and Ati exceeded our expectations with a range of delicious and unique dishes. It took us three weeks after the tasting to finalize our menu because there were so many incredible options to choose from.
The food at our wedding was even better than the tasting, and the service was genuinely thoughtful. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who took care of us; she ensured we had time to enjoy our meal. When we were busy mingling with family, she kindly brought our main courses back to the kitchen and served us fresh plates when we were ready. It was a lovely gesture.
A special shoutout to the bartenders as well! They did a fantastic job recreating our signature cocktails, complete with wine-poached pear garnishes, and were so fun and entertaining throughout the night.

Just book Ovy Signature Catering for your event...just do it, it's the smartest thing you'll do for your wedding! We were so taken care of from the first call with Ati (who we love!), to the tasting (holy cow everything was delicious), to the final setup meeting and of course, day of. Chef Ovy (who we love) and his team were so professional and we felt totally at ease with this aspect of our wedding. All dietary restrictions were taken care of and we were taken care of as the married couple on the day of. Thank you to the staff member who brought us our appetizers once the ceremony was over!! It is so true that you will forget to eat, and while we were being pulled in all different directions, we were so grateful to eat together as a couple for a brief moment. Thank you so much for that. If you're looking for a caterer who doesn’t just serve amazing food but becomes a true partner in bringing your wedding vision to life, look no further than Signature Catering. Ati and Ovy are simply the best in the business.
From the very start, Ati took the time to really get to know us—not just our food preferences, but who we are as a couple. He met with us multiple times, diving into our backgrounds, cultural influences, and personal tastes. That attention to detail led to a fully customized menu that was 100% “us,” while still benefiting from their expert guidance and culinary creativity. We hand-picked every item, and yet they did all the heavy lifting—giving us brilliant options to choose from and tailoring everything to perfection.
We were able to offer our guests four entrees—duck confit, hanger steak, salmon, and risotto—which is no small feat to pull off at a wedding. Every single dish was cooked beautifully. The duck was rich and tender, the steak melted in your mouth, the salmon was delicate and moist, and even the risotto (often a throwaway dish at big events) was a star in its own right.
The tasting experience alone deserves its own review. They turned it into a full evening—almost like a private, fine dining party. We got to invite friends, sample generous portions of every dish, and enjoy a night that felt like a celebration in itself.
The appetizers—like ceviche, braised duck, and mushroom crostini—were bursting with bold, interesting flavors and got people talking before dinner even began.
And now, months after our May wedding at Crystal Creek Farm, our guests are still raving about the food. We’ve heard from so many friends and family that it was hands-down the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding.
Ovy deserves huge credit as well—his execution on the day-of was flawless. Together, Ati and Ovy coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors, including Barb (the venue owner), and ensured that everything flowed perfectly. Service was smooth, organized, and totally stress-free. No hiccups, no delays—just a perfect, polished dinner service with highly complex and varied menu items.
Signature Catering was an essential part of making the whole day feel magical. The food was unforgettable, the process was deeply collaborative, and the team was professional and warm through and through.

Signature Catering by Ovy is truly world-class
We were absolutely blown away by the services they provided for our wedding in April 2025. From start to finish, every step of the journey was exceptional. Our wedding was at Wildman BT, and Signature Catering by Ovy proved to be outstanding collaborators from day one.
When we first reached out, Ati took the time to get to know my partner and me—learning about our backgrounds, culinary goals, and vision for the day. They created a custom menu that beautifully honored my Maryland roots (seafood and crabs) and my partner’s Kansas City roots (barbecue). We had a tasting at their shop, and the food was phenomenal—full of flavor, perfectly executed, and truly exceptional. Honestly, we wondered if they could match that level of quality on the actual wedding day—AND they did, far BEYOND!!
On our wedding day, the food was spectacular! We offered Crab and Shrimp Étouffée, Southern Braised Short Ribs, and Thai Coconut Curry as entrée options. Every guest raved about how delicious everything was—and our guests can be very particular when it comes to food! Beyond the entrées, the hors d’oeuvres and stunning charcuterie table were equally incredible. Signature Catering by Ovy truly delivered THEE best wedding food—period.
We also had late-night snacks—sliders and mac and cheese—which were a huge hit! Seeing our guests dancing and then being handed a slider was so much fun, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Ovy and his team are unbelievably talented; their kitchen skills are second to none.
Their attention to detail extended far beyond the food. One of my cousins, who has a severe Celiac allergy, hadn’t even planned to eat due to previous experiences with cross-contamination. Without us even asking, the catering team made her a completely gluten-free meal and explained how it was prepared to avoid any cross-contact. She was able to enjoy the celebration with everyone else. That level of care and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about this team’s excellence.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was absolutely five-star. Everything was seamless, and the staff was magnificent—attentive, professional, and polished.
A special thank you to Ati, who was incredible to work with from start to finish. He answered every question we had, helped us create our signature cocktails, and guided us through the planning process with kindness, patience, and professionalism. His organization and energy made me feel so much less stressed, and his support truly enhanced our day.
In short: Signature Catering by Ovy, especially in collaboration with our venue team at Wildman BT, made our wedding unforgettable. We will absolutely use their services again. They are top-quality, classy, and absolutely exceptional. We cannot recommend them highly enough! -

We used Signature Catering by Ovy for our wedding in early April (2025). We found them in 2024 after we had an unsatisfactory tasting with a different vendor.
Planning: We worked with Ati to create a menu based on our preferences and they really treated us like royalty at our tasting. They provided lots of mouth watering options and we settled on four appetizers, a salad course, and three entree options. The beet salad is phenomenal! Ati was so generous with his time and got on the phone with us multiple times between the tasting and our wedding to make sure he understood our vision and could coordinate the details. They made our signature drinks and let us bring in the frills that made us happy (like special cherries for cocktails and personalized cocktail napkins).
Wedding: When I tell you this was the best wedding food I have ever had, I'm not kidding. Ovy, who takes over on Wedding Day, is also delightful. We got so many genuine compliments on our food. It was perfectly seasoned, everything came out of the kitchen hot, and service was smooth. I was blown away by the meal I had (short rib with chive mashed potatoes and julienned beets). Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Service was great - our staff made sure everyone had drinks throughout the evening, that those who had wine during dinner got their fill and they did a good job checking in with people before removing plates (which meant I actually got to eat my meal after chatting with guests during dinner:).
Value: We found the food and service to be an extraordinary value for what they charge!
We will be singing Ati, Ovy, and their staff’s praises for a while. We had so many guests rave about our food. Ati and Ovy are delightful to work with. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have fabulous food at their wedding.

We just love Ovy, Ati, and their entire staff. My husband and I knew from our first Zoom meeting with Ati that we had to work with them for our wedding in December 2024. Ovy Signature Catering was recommended to us by our venue.
Ati was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. He let us know if we have questions about anything while planning our wedding to feel free and ask him. We had never been to a wedding that they catered and when Ati found out, he changed his schedule around so that we would be able to get into a tasting ASAP.
Ati is very in depth about getting to know each couple and what food we grew up with and what our friends and family enjoyed. Ati and Ovy really care about presenting food that is going to appeal to your guests and demonstrates a mix of culture.
Ovy's menus are phenomenal and everything from the appetizers to the desserts was delicious at the tasting. We were so excited that everything tasted just as amazing at our wedding which I know is not the case for everyone.
The team that they brought were so kind and they were constantly checking in on the head table. We had guests with very particular allergies and everyone was very accommodating. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was!

Amazing service
They were amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. My husband and I come from different cultures and the catering team was able to really showcase that in their dishes - doing both Greek and Ugandan food.
We were married at the Chicago Cultural Center and they came with us to tour and give advice on set up, AND helped set the tables on the day of.
Cannot recommend this catering service enough! -

When beginning our wedding planning process last year, our most important vendor was the caterer. My husband and I both come from a Filipino background where the kitchen is always the heart of the home and food is truly a love language. Through extensive research, I stumbled upon Ovy and his team where we were in touch with Ati on the front end. This team is truly a hidden gem, as their online presence is not highly publicized, but if you have the opportunity to hire them for your wedding, we could not recommend them more. As we come from our Filipino bckground, Ovy and his staff have an incredibly impressive knowledge on enthic foods and were even able to provide us with options that incorporate our heritage, such as lechon, pansit, and Filipino barbeque. We were absolutely floored when we experienced our tasting at their office in Chicago, as they cooked and treated us as if we were part of their own family.
Our wedding was held at the Brix on the Fox in Carpentersville, IL. We had just over 200 guests and we continue to hear nothing but incredibly raving reviews about the food, hospitality of the severs and bartending staff, and the overall welcoming environment they provided for our day. As this was one of the first encounters of Ovy Catering at the Brix, I was incredibly impressed with how seamless their communication was and how smoothly the entire operation was of our wedding day. We were asked several times by their staff if we needed food, drinks, or any other assistance outside of any catering needs. Their attention to detail is unmatched and it made me so comfortable throughout the entire process. My initial concern when hiring a catering company for our wedding is that the tasting would always taste great, but then the quality of food would be sacrificed on the day of the wedding due to the volume of guests. This was not the case at all with Ovy and his team, but rather quite the opposite. The hor d'oeurves, dinner, and sweets tasted even better and looked just as beautiful as well. I will never forget looking out from our sweetheart table and seeing the servers interact with our guests and it's moments like these that truly make your wedding day so special, when a vendor does not feel like "just an employee" but rather an extension of family in the room.
If you do have the opportunity to work with Ovy Signature Catering, please do no hesitate to. They are truly such a genuine team of loving, hard-working, attentive, individuals who provide incredibly magical food, drinks, and service for couple's special days. We will never forget Ovy, Ati, and the entire team as we continue into our marriage and we will forever be grateful that fate brought us together to make such a beautiful day! We could not have picked any better than Ovy Signature Catering to feed us, our family and our friends on our wedding day. First of all, their food is phenomenal. It was clear from the tasting that it was the best, most delicious and made-with-care food we've ever had for a wedding/banquet/event like this. They make amazing dishes and are flexible to work with your budget, dietary restrictions and food preferences (we asked if we could switch out the chicken breasts for chicken thighs instead; they said "not a problem"). They also like to take who the couple are as people, their upbringing, their favorite foods and flavors, and incorporate them into possible menu offerings. It makes their food and services so personal, and also ensures that you both LOVE the food you serve the guests and feel that it represents you in a special way.
It seems very obvious to give these compliments, but the above example truly shows just how compassionate Ovy, Ati and their team are in ensuring that you are treated with care, respect and are celebrated from our very first phone call with them all the way until the final piece of dessert is served. They are a wonderful caterer and anyone would be lucky to work with them. Get your requests in, they book up fast! -

Best choice!!
For our wedding on 09/01/2024 at The Arbory we had the pleasure of working with Ovy Signature Catering and they are the BEST decision we could have made. I cannot recommend Chef Ovy, Ati, and their team more. Their speciality IS weddings and their pricing is competitive and the best value with the quality of food and service you get.
From the first meeting we had with Ati, we felt so understood. He took the time to talk to us and got to know us individually but also as a couple. He understood how important our cultures (Mexican & Filipino) were for us and how important it was to have that represented in our food for the wedding. Then in our follow-up meeting he presented a curated menu that Chef Ovy had created for us and it was more that we could have asked for! There was Filipino and Mexican flavors throughout the dishes and we knew that they were exactly what we were looking for. Then, from that moment that we booked until the moment of the wedding, their communication and attentiveness was seamless. Ati was always available and would happily answer all our questions. They were not on the preferred list at The Arbory but once he was in contact with Shay (from The Arbory), the transition and coordination to have Chef Ovy as our caterer was so smooth.
Then come the wedding day, their presentation was absolutely stunning. From how they’re arranged our sweets table to how the silverware was laid on the table, it was gorgeous. What made it better was how professional their service was throughout the night. Everyone was so in sync & coordinated, and you could tell they made a great team. To top it off, their food was DELICIOUS. To this day we still have family members and friends raving about the food from the wedding!!
So, if you are still stuck searching for a team that is going to put you and your partner at the forefront and make you feel so heard, this is the team for you!

We love Ovy Catering! From start to finish Ati and Ovy were so amazing catering our wedding. At our menu tasting, we got to try so many different appetizers, mains, and desserts and were overwhelmed when it came time to make a decision because it was that good! And they made it such a fun event, it felt like a celebration. We have to give a special shout out to the butternut squash soup which was such a hit at the wedding, we keep hearing about it from all of our guests! Another favorite of ours was the smoked eggplant dip on puff pastry which is Ovy's families recipe. And the dinner service was so impressive how the staff served as a team. We truly don't have enough kind words to say about them!! -

We highly recommend booking Ovy Catering!! We were absolutely blown away by the food and service their team provided. From the first call with Ati, we could tell how much they care about their clients and how they strive to customize the food and experience to each couple they work with. We were able to include both pierogies and cannolis in our menu as a nod to our families. The tasting was such a fun event! We had a great time trying all the different options and brought our parents along to make a night of it. We were able to include a chicken, beef, and vegetarian dish so all of our guests had an option and we got so many compliments from our guests on the food! It was hands down the best wedding food we've ever had! We even had a number of people who have tried to recreate the tofu curry at home! Furthermore, the service and bartending staff were incredible and everyone was so easy to work with. Booking Ovy and Ati was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process and we were so thrilled with how it all turned out! -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Ovy Signature Catering and I cannot begin to express the gratitude and appreciation we had for their team. The professionalism, service and kindness that their team displayed was not just apparent from their leaders but from their chefs, the kitchen staff and the servers. From top to bottom, their team is immaculate and the best we could have asked for. They were able to work with us to create a menu that was both unique and reflective of our cultural diversity. We were worried that such ethnic dishes could be recreated but they were able to do so with their own flair and every single guest had nothing but raving remarks about the food. They were kind, understanding and very patient with us through the entire process and the support they gave us also just as individuals was a great aspect. When working with Ovy and Ati we did not feel like we were just in a business transaction, we felt like we were part of the family as well which made things so much easier and smooth for us. Ovy’s staff did an amazing job helping us curate a menu between Filipino & Italian food. They made gave a great variety of choices of food to curate the perfect menu. Coming from big foodie families and working in the food industries ourselves, my husband and I were in awe of the love, care, thoughtfulness and talent the entire team at OSC brings.
Ovy Catering came recommended from our wedding venue, Stan Mansion, and the moment we made contact with the team, we knew the attention to detail and experience would enhance our wedding for us and our guests alike. Ati, their Director and chef Ovy took our feedback and dreams of the perfect meal and made it reality. Their attention to thoughtfulness on our feedback and desires made the experience working with them effortless.
Duck confit bites, Ovy bruschetta ( with whipped smoked eggplant), Brie bites were our passed hor d'oeuvre and were perfect delicious bites! Truly if you are looking for a restaurant quality food at your wedding, look no further!
We had A Specialty soup and salad course and our mains were show stoppers; short rib with chive butter mashed potatoes, with grilled veggies, roasted chicken thigh with couscous and vegetables and a garlic mushroom medley with couscous and vegetables. Dessert table of mousses, opera cake, chocolate tarts and cream puffs were perfect little sweet bites in between dancing. We were so happy to bring home leftovers to enjoy the night before we left from our honeymoon too!
Service was friendly and attentive and worked in a seamless and non distracting manner during the wedding.

Ovy Signature Catering was the best catering vendor we could have asked for. From start to finish, Ovy & Ati have been outstanding.
Having family style food served at our wedding was very important to us - plus my husband (Justin) and I wanted some different & unique foods for our wedding. We had a wonderful consultation with Ati at the beginning of the wedding planning process and we immediately knew we wanted Ovy to cater for us. We were invited to have a tasting with our friends & family and this experience put Ovy over the top; having a tasting with some of our most important friends and family, was so unique and special to us. Ati was an excellent host & Ovy whipped up some delicious dishes for us! One of their signature hors d'oeuvres was smoked eggplant w/ puff pastry, feta, cherry tomatoes & chives; I was not a fan of eggplant, but they assured me I would like this bite. Sure enough, this was one of our favorite hors d'oeuvres of the night! Absolutely delicious and our guests had never tasted anything like it - which was exactly the experience we wanted! We also had grilled cheese dippers with tomato soup - which our families have asked for the recipe. The Thai chicken skewers were also delicious.
Throughout the planning process, Ati was a pillar of support for anything we needed. Since we were interested in bringing in full bar setup, Ovy & Ati helped facilitate getting the furniture and equipment needed for the bar setup - and this ended up being such a great feature at out wedding. On the day of the wedding the catering staff played such a key roll in making sure our day played out smoothly. We had designated staff serving the head table and they made sure we had enough food, water and beverages throughout the meal and never hesitated to ask if we needed anything. We got so many compliments from our guests about how kind and thoughtful the staff were - and typically this isn't something you notice at a wedding. But with Ovy Signature Catering, they bring 5 star, world class service, and it really goes a long way 😊
For our dinner we had a caesar salad w/ grilled lettuce. Most of our guests mentioned they had never tried this, but they thought it was the most delicious caesar salad they had ever tried! Plus, we had the most delicious short rib you can imagine + potatoes au gratin that made every guest speechless + perfectly cooked salmon with a beautiful couscous salad + our favorite dish: the Thai green coconut curry (V)! This dish was our vegan dish and was the most unique part of our menu and it was definitely a crowd pleaser. It was so great to be able to offer all our guests a little taste of something we love and the vegan guests at our wedding also loved it! Ovy/Ati even offered to individually plate the course for vegan/vegetarian guests which was so thoughtful.
The dessert table was exactly what we dreamed of; something simple but tasty. The little dessert bites were the perfect cap to a beautiful menu!
From start to finish - Ovy & Ati knocked it out of the park for our wedding and we hope to have another excuse to host a party with them some day in the future! Cheers to you and the team! 🥂 👏 -

I would give 100 stars if I could. Ovy and Ati were a pleasure to work with and the food was amazing. My whole family is from the Midwest and husbands family is Taiwanese and Pakistani so we asked for a mix of food and it was excellent. I still dream about the chive mashed potatoes and the tofu curry over a year later. They worked to create the perfect mix of comfort food from all sides of our families. We had amazing appetizers during the cocktail hour but the thing people still talk to us about today was the main meal. We had slow braised short ribs and chive mashed potatoes, butter chicken, and tofu coconut curry. We asked for halal meat and that was no issue. Ati even helped us with our table cloths, napkins and place settings! Our tasting was one of the best meals of my life. The day of the event went off without a hitch. I could go on but you will have zero regrets with picking them. -

I cannot emphasize enough how Ovy, Ati and team made our wedding spectacular. We had a very specific (and somewhat unusual) vision with cocktails, food and dancing starting before the ceremony (which occurred midway through the wedding).
We explained to Ovy and Ati that we wanted it to feel like a party (no formal sit-down dinner), but still have a full selection of dinner stations that would satisfy the entire crowd.
People ate whenever they wanted and spent the rest of the time mingling or on the dance floor. Everyone raved about the food and many went back for seconds (and thirds!). We chose to do an "around the world" concept with three stations: Middle Eastern, Mexican and Italian. This provided people with a plethora of choices and also gave many options to people with various dietary restrictions.
Taking a non-traditional approach to a wedding can be risky, but this team made it a huge success!

The best caterers EVER!
Ovy and Ati did an AMAZING job catering our wedding, and we could not have asked for a better catering service. From our initial inquiry, to our wonderful tasting, and finally to our wedding day everything was above our expectations. We asked them to help create a menu that both my husband’s Lebanese family and my Wisconsin family would both love, and they absolutely delivered. Everyone was raving about our food all night, and they even special made Lebanese style Shawarma and Wisconsin style deep-fried cheese curds as our late night snack. The dessert table was also to die for, and was set up beautifully. The staff at our event was also extremely attentive. Ovy and Ati had never been to our reception site either, The Bridge Lemont, but despite being to a new site, everything ran incredibly smoothly. We could not recommend Ovy and Ati enough for anyone looking to impress their guests with amazing food! -

My husband and I don't have enough amazing things to say about the Ovy catering team!
From the point where we first reached out, Ati (the customer-facing business partner) was super communicative and responsive to all of our questions. He booked our wedding tasting at their tasting room / kitchen (which feels like you're having dinner at someone's beautiful home) and we honestly had trouble choosing the options we would end up serving at our wedding because they were all so delicious. We'd been to enough weddings with "eh" food, so we knew we wanted our food to impress our guests and boy did Chef Ovy and his team deliver! We had countless guests come up to us during and after the wedding to let us know how amazing the food was.
Additionally, Chef Ovy and the catering team on-site were instrumental in helping flip our space from a ceremony site to a full-blown wedding dinner reception. I DIYd most of our wedding decor, which meant extra staff needed for proper set-up, and the team didn't hesitate to help our coordinators get everything to where it needed to go, while also providing excellent service to us and our guests.
This is a boutique catering company that clearly cares about its clients and the events they are working. Definitely check them out if you are in need of a wedding caterer! Huge thank you, Ovy and team! -

We had a fantastic experience working with Chef Ovy and Ati for our wedding in October 2022. Ati was communicative throughout the planning process and helped keep us on track with deadlines. Our food turned out as amazing as we remembered from the first tasting. We chose the butternut squash soup and roasted beet salad for the first course, and the roasted chicken, hanger steak, and Thai vegetable curry (my personal favorite) for entrees. We also had Ovy & team make us a cheesecake for the cake cutting, which was beautiful and delicious. We heard from many of our guests that ours was the best wedding food they've ever had, and we agree! We had a large wedding with nearly 250 guests and the food was consistent and high quality. Our tables were decorated beautifully, and all of our tables were served food promptly. One of the servers even boxed up the remaining cheesecake at the end of the night, which I had nearly forgotten! Overall, I cannot recommend Ovy & team enough. -

I cannot say enough great things about Ovy and Ati. As first-time planners, we were in over our heads with where to start for catering. We were welcomed with so much love and support from the very beginning! Our initial call with Ati was unbelievable. He took his time to get to know us as a couple, to understand our likes and dislikes. When we arrived at the tasting, it was a whole vibe! The plating, the mood, and the INCREDIBLE food. My husband is Nigerian, so they even presented a dish incorporating the green in the Nigerian flag. Such attention to detail!
We had such a hard time picking the final dishes because everything was so delicious!
We were so worried that we would have such an excellent tasting with fantastic food and wouldn’t get the same level of service on the wedding day. Boy, were we wrong! Everything was exactly like the tasting. Even after I decided to go vegan, Ati quickly came up with fantastic dish recommendations to accommodate my diet change! Every single one of our guests raved about the food. Unfortunately, some of our guests didn’t show up, and their plates were eaten! People were begging to split the extra plates!
The waitstaff was kind and helpful, from bartending to flipping the room. It was like magic.
They were supportive, not just with catering but with extra details for the wedding and even minor stressors in our lives during that time. Ati would call me, asking me how we were doing and what he could help with. Our photographer canceled on us just two days before the wedding, and they gave us recommendations!
Catering is one of the most significant expenses for a wedding, and picking one can be highly stressful. So I’m here to tell you to look no further! If you want magical food at a fair price with love, joy, and professionalism, go with Ovy Catering.

From our initial call it was clear that they are dedicating to customizing each event to the preferences of each couple. Where to start?! Ovy and Ati were incredible to work with. As soon as we requested a quote, Ati arranged to call to find out more about us, our cultures, and our families so that they could provide us with the most personalized and fitting tasting menu possible. Every other caterer we contacted (which was A LOT in the initial stage) offered very generic, impersonal menus and took a lot longer to reply. After speaking to Ati and receiving his quote, we decided to hold off all other caterers until we’d tried Ovy’s tasting menu because their level of service was already head and shoulders above the rest.
Eight months before the wedding, Ati and Ovy hosted our tasting for us and some friends and we were blown away! They’d even recreated some of my childhood favorites from England! The food was all top restaurant quality, which is saying a lot in Chicago!
In the lead up to the wedding, Ati checked in on us periodically to see if we needed help or advice with anything. On the wedding day, the entire staff could not have been more wonderful and attentive - even down to running out to get the Bride an espresso martini at the end of the night! We told ourselves that the food would not be quite as excellent as the tasting because they were cooking for 130 people. However, it was phenomenal and all of our guests made a point to tell us how great it was and how they kept going up for more!
We cannot recommend Ovy Catering highly enough. Book them - we were very happy with every one of our vendors but Ovy catering was still the best decision we made! -

Ati, Ovy and their team did an amazing job at our wedding in downtown Chicago. Our wedding wouldn’t have turned out the same without them. When we tried the food we instantly knew that we wanted to book them. Not only that, but also they always made us feel welcomed and they truly cared for us and our wedding. It’s hard to find the quality, taste, attention, and price that Ovy Signature Catering offers. Only a few weeks before the wedding, our venue canceled our wedding and we were left on our own to figure it out. We informed the catering team about this and they went above and beyond to help us move everything to another venue. Again, they really pay attention to your day and treat it like you want every vendor to do so; like it’s the most important day of your life. In regards to food, everyone complimented the food and service. The catering team was always available and ready to step in and help. We worked with Ovy Signature Catering (Ovy Pop) for our wedding, which was delayed from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID-19. We had some of the best bites we have had in recent memory during the tasting and it was difficult for us to make a final decision for our menu and options because everything was so good! Ati was very communicative and worked with us through considerations of different options and dietary restrictions to get things just how we wanted them to be for our big day. Ati and Ovy are a great team to work with and when we made the difficult decision to delay our wedding to 2021, we did not even consider using a different catering vendor, and we rescheduled around their 2021 availability. The food is phenomenal and our guests also raved about it, telling us it's the best or one of the best meals they have had! We can't speak highly enough about this team and the quality of the food. We would 1000% make the same decision if we were going through the wedding process again. -

My wife and I cannot say enough great things about Ovy Signature Catering. Our original wedding, like so many others, was delayed by the pandemic. Ovy and his team kept in touch throughout the yearlong delay, putting our concerns and fears to rest at every turn. They were responsive, professional, and many times addressed concerns we didn't even know we had until they had already addressed them.
And now the most important part - the food at the wedding was simply OUTSTANDING. Many, many guests told us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. It sounds weird to write this about one's own wedding, but I entirely agree. The food was high end restaurant quality and most definitely held up the to the high quality food Ovy displayed at our tasting dinner.
Ovy and Ati helped make our wedding a huge success, even after a year long delay. They were beyond professional and responsive in their approach to our event. The food was incredible. It's been 3 days since our wedding and people are still texting me about great the food was. I think that's everything you need to know.
Thanks you Ovy and your team - we cannot recommend you enough.

I would highly recommend Ovy catering to anyone who is planning to host a wedding. There food was absolutely phenomenal!! My guests are still talking about how amazing and delicious the food was at our wedding- the appetizers, entrees, deserts, and late night snacks - were so unique and perfectly executed. I had so many comments from friend and family that this was the "best wedding food they had ever had!" From the time we had our first tasting to the wedding day, Ovy and his team were professional, patient, accommodating and really made us feel like we were more than just clients. Our wedding had to be postponed an entire year due to Covid and even through all the changes and add-ons they were always so helpful and attentive. His team responded immediately to all of my emails and questions, gave us plenty of options for food choices and place settings. When I first walked into our reception room, I was in complete awe at how lovely the table settings were (plates, dish ware, linens). It was exactly as we had discussed and I was so thankfully we had selected them to cater our event. On a personal note, I also want to say that Ovy was very kind to me and my husband. When we visited his kitchen/store front he gave us some delicious homemade sausage to try at home, and then after the wedding day he wrote me a very kind note to congratulate us on the big day. I think those gestures really show how much pride they have in their food and how important their clients are to them. I cannot recommend Ovy Catering more highly and I hope to work with them again in the future for another event of ours. Excellent food and superb service form the whole team!!! -

Wedding Party Of A Lifetime! Can’t ask for more.
Ovy & team came in hours early to my house to set up and from the get-go they demonstrated professionalism, hospitality, and great attention to detail. We had a huge tent, seven tables, and a lot of chairs that needed decorations and arrangements. Ovy and team hopped on to arrange everything and it was just beautiful and did it on time before the first guests came through the door. The food was cooked right and the temperature was right. The drinks were astonishingly refreshing and tasty for a hot summer night. The service was top notch and took care of everyone’s request throughout the entire wedding party. If you need anything because you forgot to prepare, Ovy and team will have your back and your guests will be amazed throughout your big day. Thank you Ovy! 10/10 would recommend and have him for every party I have. -

No review will do justice to Ovy, Ati and the whole team at Ovy Signature Catering. From the first bite we had at the tasting with Chef Ovy, we knew this was the right choice for us. The food was exceptional! The sous vide short ribs were a favorite of ours, but the minty pea soup sealed the deal. Guests pulled us aside all night to ask who our caterer was because it was that delicious! Just as important as the quality of the food was how easy they were to work with. They happily worked with us through 3 rescheduled dates due to the pandemic and we are so grateful. The staff at our wedding went above and beyond to take care of our guests. The bartenders were knowledgeable and the wait staff was attentive. We’re so happy that we chose to work with Ovy! -

His food is absolutely amazing and all the clients love him. How can one put into words just how wonderful this team is? My husband and I got married 6/12/21 after being engaged for nearly 2 years. When meeting with other caterers, it felt like we were just going through the motions; but when we met with Ovy and Ati it was like we were talking with old friends. Also - HUGE BONUS the food is immaculate and the pricing is incredibly affordable (close to half than some other vendors). Ovy was able to work with my requests and created two delectable main dishes, a handful of appetizers, and dessert! I've had several people text me to compliment the meal. On top of amazing talent, Ovy and Ati are quick to reply and always stay in contact. Lastly, Ovy's catering team was TOP NOTCH. The servers and bartenders were kind, hilarious, and talented. I can't say enough about how much I love this catering group!
