  Ovation Strings, from the very first moment I contacted them, was thoroughly professional in every way. Kimberly worked with me on the songs for a memorial service I was planning for my brother, stayed in touch, and then Ovation Strings delivered a stellar performance at the service. The trio we hired was spectacularly talented, and the music couldn't have been more perfect. Countless people commented on the quality of the music and how moving the selections were. I give them my highest recommendation! True professionals-- and SO talented and kind!

  Ovation strings is amazing! I did not have a wedding coordinator and Kimberly offered to play at our rehearsal so my wedding party could practice. She is always quick to respond too. Everyone loved the music and it added that extra touch to our ceremony. She helped me with the order and the timing too. It wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her expertise! 10/10 recommend them for any event.

Their repertoire of music is impressive, playing the classics as expected, but their selection of contemporary music is amazing, spanning from Taylor Swift to Guns n' Roses to Disney. Our guests were delighted throughout the reception when they unexpectedly recognized a favorite popular song that they could even dance to! The musicians are so talented; they accommodated requests on the fly and rearranged the music to personalize a moment and underscore a mood. Kim Feeney, the manager, is very responsive and an absolute professional. We happily recommend Ovation Strings to enhance your wedding celebration!

  I cannot recommend Ovation Strings enough! My fiance booked Ovation Strings as part of his surprise proposal. He was able to choose a mix of Bollywood and English songs that played on repeat throughout the proposal and photoshoot afterwards. Their performance added to the ambiance and romance and made our special day even more memorable. Truly a professional, kind and overall wonderful group to work with!

  Kimberly was so sweet to work with and she had a wide range of contemporary and classical music to choose from. Everyone at my wedding complimented me on how beautiful the ceremony was thanks to the string trio. They really elevated the entire ceremony. Would HIGHLY recommend these very professional and talented group!!

  Best String Quartet Ever!!!!

  I cannot recommend Ovation Strings enough. It had always been my dream to have a string quartet at my wedding and they made all my dreams come true and more!   Ovation Strings exceeded all my expectations. We hired them as a string trio for our outdoor wedding and the whole experience was amazing. Kim was always quick to respond, easy to talk to, and made sure that we were on the same page leading up to the wedding so that I did not have to worry about them on the day of. They played two songs out of their normal repertoire that we requested including one that they had to get arranged for string trio, and both turned out beautifully. They were prompt and thorough in conversations with our venue and were an overall joy to work with. I highly recommend Ovation Strings to play at any event, but especially your wedding! They truly know how to make your special day even more special.

  Very responsive but…

  Had a really good experience with communication and planning music choices. Talked several time about having a small wedding party and I wanted my two bridesmaids and the groomsmen to walk down to a certain song that was special to us as friends and for my walk song I had something that was really meaningful to me and my now husband. My wedding coordinator knew all this and was trying to make sure the musicians knew everything and were set to go. The response she got was “yeah we do this all the time” and they didn’t want to run through things. Watching the video back there is a lot of long pauses and tuning during the prelude music. When it came to the processional they began playing the wedding party music for when the mother of the groom and mother of the bride walked in. Hoping they would just continue this music for the bridal party I was only mildly flustered. When the bridesmaids and groomsmen began to walk to music changed to MY SONG. (And my bridesmaids were wearing champagne not white.) When it was my turn to walk my coordinator was cueing them but they were not playing. My dad and I took a couple steps forward so they could see us better but they still did not play and they were arguing with each other until they figured out they messed up the songs and repeated my song. But this was a pretty long pause with lots paper shuffling and whispers and us standing there awkwardly. On top of all this they never reached out afterward to apologize. Just unprofessional when it came to making a mistake and not taking responsibility for it.

However, the processional did not match the notes given to us by the coordinator which caused us to play your song early. When we realized our error, we repeated it for you.
  
  We always strive to do our best for our wedding couples to make their wedding as they envisioned it. This error was very unfortunate and also upsetting to us. We sincerely apologize for this. I hope the rest of your wedding went on smoothly.

  Ovation Strings were amazing to work with. They were professional and thorough in preparing beforehand so the wedding ceremony music went super smoothly. They are very talented and created a beautiful atmosphere for our special day!

  Excellent! and played special songs for serrenade and first dance!

  Ovation Strings was excellent! Their music was perfect for the upscale reception we had -- lots of Mozart and other good classical music. Most of all they accommodated two very special requests -- they were able to prepare a waltz for a first dance for the Bride & Groom, and they played accompanying music for serrenading the Bride! Outstanding working with them.

  Amazing experience!

  My fiance and I wanted string music during our ceremony, and we are so glad we went with Ovation Strings! Communication was quick, easy, and Kim was able to walk me through the whole process with ease. I wanted a specific song to walk down the aisle to that was not listed on their repertoire online, and Kim was able to find the sheet music and have it ready to go for my wedding day. They were absolutely perfect and we had so many compliments about our ceremony. I highly recommend!

  Kimberly was amazing to work with and so responsive & sweet! She was able to have a few songs arranged (for a fee) that were really important to us that she wasn’t able to find elsewhere which was so appreciated! The quartet sounded so beautiful and made a huge impact on our day! Our guests loved the music and it definitely added a bit of a wow factor. Thank you again!

  Swoonworthy string quartet!

  We hired Ovation Strings for our 5/6/23 wedding and we are SO glad that we did! They played for 2 hours (ceremony music and cocktail hour) and our guests LOVED them. They played a mix of contemporary and classical music (they have a great list!) and Kim went out of her way to find awesome arrangements of the special songs that we requested! Kim was easy to work with every step of the way and the quartet was perfection. Their rates are also VERY reasonable (if anything I think they should be charging more--they're worth it!!). They have my absolute highest recommendation!
