This review is long overdue, but it is so well deserved! Jeremy and his team were hands down our favorite vendor from our entire wedding. I truly don’t think our night would have been nearly as epic without them.
One of my biggest concerns before the wedding was that people wouldn’t dance—especially since about half of our guests were older. Let me tell you… there was not a single soul sitting in a chair! The dance floor was completely packed all night long, and even people who don’t normally dance were up there having the best time.
Jeremy and his team absolutely crushed it. The energy, the music, and the way they read the crowd was incredible. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the band and how much fun they were. People are still talking about how amazing they were!
We truly had the best night of our lives, and Jeremy and the Generations played a huge role in making that happen. On top of being insanely talented, Jeremy and his crew are genuinely great people.
If you’re considering booking them—do it. You will not regret it!

Jeremy and his band were probably the BEST decision we made for our wedding day!! All of guests are literally still talking about the band! They were all amazed at the variety of music they played and how well they played them all!! Jeremy is soooo nice and so easy to work with! His assistant was very quick to respond and so helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns! I originally booked Jeremy as a DJ but SO glad we switched to his band! He did acoustic for our ceremony, and it was so beautiful and everything I dreamed of! Thank you SO much Jeremy from the bottom of our hearts for making our day and evening everything we wanted and more for not only us but our guests too!!

Danced all night long!
We cannot thank Jeremy enough for being such an incredible part of our wedding day. He didn’t just play music... he set the tone, created the atmosphere, and brought an energy that made every moment on the dance floor unforgettable. From the very first song to the very last, he had everyone smiling, laughing, and dancing nonstop.
Our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful for the care, talent, and professionalism Jeremy brought to every single detail. His ability to read the room and keep the energy flowing made our celebration feel effortless and so much fun.

Amazing band - hire them now!
I hired Jeremy and the band without seeing them live. My parents were in the obx area and went out to hear them play and LOVED THEM! No questions asked and with full confidence I booked them - and it was the best decision EVER!!
We had the 5 piece band + sax and it was amazing! There was a mix of live music and we did one hour of Jeremy DJing at the end of the night and it could not have been more perfect.
We had aunts and uncles dancing that I’ve never seen get that excited at parties!
To top it off they were super easy to work with and made us feel comfortable the entire time. 100000/10!!!

Best Band EVER!
We cannot say enough amazing things about Jeremy and his band — they absolutely crushed it! It’s no easy feat to get EVERYONE out on the dance floor at a wedding, but they somehow did it and kept the energy high for three straight hours. The setlist was perfect — all our favorite songs — and they just knew exactly how to keep the party going from start to finish. Jeremy also did amazing on the processional music for ceremony and the acoustic during our cocktail hour.
I’ve had countless guests reach out in the weeks since to say how incredible the band was, and several friends have already asked for their info for their own weddings. I keep telling everyone that was the best concert ever. Thank you for making our wedding the absolute best party ever — you guys were unforgettable!

Wonderful DJ Services!
Jeremy did such an amazing job entertaining our guests for our beach wedding in October in the OBX. The price point was great, and I had added mics for our friend who was officiating as well as uplighting at the reception. Jeremy played acoustic during our happy hour, and although we were taking pictures during, I had several guests come up to me to tell me how wonderful he was. I gave him a few songs that were must plays for us and let him handle the rest! We were planning our wedding from VA, and although we didn't chat often, I trusted that he would be awesome. He's got an amazing personality and is just the nicest guy. I would highly recommend him for any type of event. Thank you again Jeremy!!!

Jeremy was absolutely amazing! All the music flowed perfectly from the ceremony to the dances. His song choices throughout the night were spot on, and everyone kept saying how much fun they had on the dance floor! He also sang and played acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour, which was such a beautiful and personal touch. My dad and I did a mash-up of two songs for our dance, and Jeremy made the transition flawless. The uplighting matched our theme perfectly — he truly tied everything together and made our night unforgettable! He even sent us a Google Drive with videos and photos he captured throughout the day, which was such a thoughtful surprise!

Easiest choice for wedding entertainment!
We hired Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment and had an amazing wedding due in part to Phil and Raymond! Many of our guests are still complementing their services two weeks later. Even after booking, we had hear amazing things about Phil and his band that plays locally in the Outer Banks. From that point on, we knew that we were in good hands. During the planning process, music was not something we spent much time worrying about because we trusted Phil and Raymond, and they delivered! They played music that exactly matched our tastes and vibe for the venue, and got the party started for the reception. The ceremony and cocktail hour music was also beautifully done by Phil. We are so happy that we could hire them and had so much fun on the dance floor thanks to them!

Party of a Lifetime
One of my biggest fears for my wedding was that people would be bored or not want to dance. Let me tell you, hiring Jeremy was the best decision we could have made. From the on-point ceremony music, to the beautiful acoustic set he played for our cocktail hour, to the absolute rager of a reception, he made the entire day incredible! Everyone was on the dance floor having a blast, and he knew exactly when to play which songs. Everything flowed and he kept the party going the whole night! He also truly seems to love what he does and his energy is infectious. We couldn't possibly recommend him more, and definitely keep Jeremy in mind for your OBX wedding!

Jeremy was incredibly professional and responded to the energy as the day turned to night his music flowed throughout the event seamlessly. He stood fast to my one and only do not play song which I know was tested many a time throughout the evening by our best man. Thank you Jeremy! greatly appreciated! He is incredibly talented we had him play his guitar for our ceremony which was elegant and blended naturally into the ambiance. We didn't feel like we missed any of the songs we wanted to hear and got to really dance our hearts out. He kept it PG for some of the more explicit songs requested by the guests which was wonderful considering we had children in the wedding. Definitely family friendly. He was incredibly easy to work with, attentive, and intuitive to our needs for the day. It was incredibly special to have him as our DJ and his wife as our officiant we had a bunch of families in the wedding industry coming together to make our day perfect for ours.

I’m so grateful we booked with Jeremy and the band. Jeremy and his team were extremely organized and professional so I knew exactly what to expect the day of and felt assured they had all the right music we requested. We loved being able to mix and match between prerecorded songs and the band for different components of the wedding. The band was absolutely a smash hit that we couldn’t imagine our wedding without. Bride wanted a DJ, groom wanted live music, and Jeremy delivered on both beyond our expectations! It was an amazing and smooth transition from acoustic guitar to David on sax during the ceremony, guitar/sax duet during cocktail hour, DJ/sax during dinner, and full on unforgettable jumping/screaming/fist-pumping DJ dance party at the reception. Jeremy worked our wedding this past October. I cannot begin to recommend his services! From the ease and consistent communication, to the understanding of what we wanted, he and his team was amazing throughout. On the day of the actual wedding, he made everything a breeze. Excellent experience with Jeremy Russell!
From the beginning, we knew that Jeremy Russell w/ Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment matched the fun, upbeat wedding vibe that we were going for. He guided us through every step of the way, and when he wasn't available to personally respond, his FANTASTIC assistant Emily was always quick with the reply to my questions! She even helped me pull off a surprise voice memo for my now husband!
Due to weather, we had to move the ceremony inside of our rental home and Jeremy adjusted without any hesitation. He was able to provide our ceremony music on the top floor, and moved the reception station inside on the bottom floor.
We hired Jeremy to DJ the ceremony and reception, while performing an acoustic set during the cocktail hour - this provided some variety for our guests, but was also super fun to hear him sing some covers to songs we love. While we weren't really around during cocktail hour (picture time), we were able to hear him and still enjoy the music.
At the end of the reception, Jeremy got our remaining guests together for a group photo, and it turns out this was the ONLY group photo we got all day, so I was extra grateful for his suggestion.
You can't go wrong by going with Jeremy and Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment to keep your guests entertained and the dance floor full!
Also, he sent us some sneak peeks and behind the scenes photos and videos for us while we are waiting on the final albums from our Photographer and Videographer, so that was a fun surprise bonus!

We were absolutely blown away by Jeremy Russell and the Generations at our wedding! We came across them at Avalon Pier and knew right away they were the ones. Jeremy played guitar and sang at the ceremony and it was so beautiful and emotional. His three piece band was so amazing - everyone is still asking where we found them. I would highly recommend hiring the band for the reception. The band really has a great vibe together and we didn’t make any major special requests because they know all the crowd pleasers! The ceremony music was elegant and moving, setting the perfect tone, while their reception set was vibrant and got everyone up and dancing. They were incredibly versatile, able to play a mix of genres and mashups that flowed so well and kept all of our guests entertained. The energy they brought to the night was infectious! I can't say enough amazing things about Jeremy! He was our DJ for our wedding at the Kitty Hawk Pier. He was familiar with our venue and its needs/requirements before hand. He kept the music questionnaire very simple and was very flexible when I had questions and concerns. Jeremy was AMAZING to work with. Not only was our ceremony on point but so many people complimented our cocktail hour. Although we were gone at photos we came back and people mentioned how relaxing and moody dinner was and the music set the mood/tone.
As for our first dances he timed it perfectly so it wasn’t overly long or overly short. It felt so natural. And as for our dance party - omg!!! Nailed it. I had so much fun on my dance floor alll night long and was so it ended. He made the night so special…not to mention he is a huge sweetheart! Would highly recommend him!

The best wedding musician and DJ!
Jeremy was fantastic to work with! He brought our musical ideas to life and made our day truly special. He arranged for my dad and sister (who are musicians) to perform at our rehearsal dinner and helped my sister set up her audio to play guitar at the ceremony. Having my family perform throughout the wedding weekend was wonderful, and Jeremy made it all happen. He also played at our rehearsal dinner and during the cocktail hour, creating a lovely atmosphere with live music. We discovered this band at a family wedding in the Outer Banks,NC. They had so much energy and we wanted this band for our wedding event.
When I say , Jeremy and the Generations bring the party, they BRING THE PARTY! This band had everyone up dancing When the night was over, the crowd begged for an encore! A great musician to hire!
We hired him to come play music at the beach house we rented for a family reunion. He was awesome! Very talented and professional, while also friendly and personable. We had children and adults of all ages requesting songs in the moment, and instead of getting frazzled or frustrated that they weren’t on our original list of requests….he kept his cool, kept smiling and attempted a bunch of them with a smile and some humor if he didn’t actually know the whole song. All in all it was a great night and we were super happy with him!

The Most Talented Musician and the Perfect Playlist!!
We could not recommend Jeremy enough because we truly have him to thank for the fun vibes at our wedding. We had the pleasure of having Jeremy as our acoustic musician for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then as our INCREDIBLE deejay for the reception. We knew from our first meeting that we needed to work with Jeremy (partly because he was down to learn how to play My Sacrifice by Creed lol), and the confidence we had in him only grew throughout our professional relationship. We were really stressing about the playlist, so we constantly emailed Jeremy with suggestions and ideas and he never made us feel like we were being annoying. But as soon as our wedding day arrived and we heard him play Friendship by Chris Stapleton as our wedding party walked down the aisle, all the stress melted away. First of all, he's an incredible singer and we highly recommend seeing his local shows at various venues in the Outer Banks. Everyone kept coming up to us to tell us how great he was acoustically and how they cried at different songs he played. Then during our reception, he was an expert at facilitating everyone's toast - including when the father-of-the-bride went rogue and stole the mic, but Jeremy was so professional that it hardly caused us any stress (thank you, Jeremy!!). And what we think is the biggest indicator of his talent is that our dance floor was PACKED by the end of the night which was exactly what we wanted. We've been to weddings where the dance floor was lackluster and that was one of our biggest stressors, but we had absolutely nothing to worry about with Jeremy on our side. For everyone who reads all the way through this review (we could go on and on, Jeremy was THAT great), PLEASE make sure you book his talents right away - make him a priority vendor because you can't do better than him! 10000/10, highly recommend.

Jeremy played & DJ’d for my wedding this past weekend and was fantastic!! I had a very specific vision for the music for the ceremony & reception (my new husband & I are both theatre people) & Jeremy was SO flexible and accommodating with all of our requests!! I had a friend perform a song during the ceremony & we had some hiccups with whether another friend would be able to play guitar live or if we would need to use a track/which track to use and despite super late notice on my end, Jeremy made it all happen and it worked beautifully!!
I was up in the hotel getting changed during cocktail hour, but my parents raved about Jeremy’s singing, particularly his rendition of “Carolina on my Mind”. :)
For the reception, we opted for the up-lighting, which was 100% the right call! It added so much to the space (Kitty Hawk Pier), and his lighting setup on the whole made for great dancing vibes! My family & friends love dancing, and Jeremy definitely facilitated a hype environment to get people on the dance floor! He even played some of our more out requests like “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan which was so fun to scream-sing! Everyone had a great time, and several guests told me it was the most fun wedding they’d ever been to (they may have just said that because I’m the bride lol, if I’m going to take their word for it 😂).

The best wedding entertainment!
Jeremy was the best entertainer we could ask for! Starting off with the ceremony, he beautifully played the guitar alongside our violinist for the processional song that I walked down the aisle to (Can’t Help Falling In Love), he made sure everyone that was speaking was mic’d up and that our guests could hear everything perfectly, and he played our recessional song right on que. He then blew all of our guests away with singing acoustic with his guitar AMAZINGLY! Jeremy did a great job with DJing and picked all of the best songs to bring all of our guests together on the dance floor for the reception - he is a true professional! Everyone at our wedding couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had dancing all night long - there wasn’t a time when guests were not on the dance floor! We had the best wedding night and Jeremy was a huge part of making it so wonderful! If anybody is looking for the complete wedding entertainment package for your big day then Jeremy is definitely the best to do it!

AMAZING! Stop searching & book with Jeremy
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ than Jeremy for our wedding reception! From the moment we started working with him, we knew we were in great hands. He went above and beyond to ensure our special day was flawless.
Not only did he keep the dance floor packed all night with an amazing selection of music AND knocked it out of the park with our intricate ceremony song selections, but he also serenaded us during the cocktail hour with his beautiful acoustic guitar and vocals. His musical talent is truly exceptional, and his performance added a magical touch to our event that our guests are still raving about.
His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for music made our wedding unforgettable. He took the time to understand our music preferences and seamlessly blended them with his own fantastic mix. His ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high was impressive. He even provided us with a few photos and videos he took himself, which gave us an incredible shot from his point of view (one of my favorite pictures of us at the alter, which I included). His positivity, genuine excitement for our big day, and overall personality made us feel like we had known him for years and just had another friend come celebrate our love (which we now consider him!).
If you're looking for a DJ who can do it all—rock the party and provide a stunning acoustic set—look no further, Jeremy is your guy. We are beyond grateful for his incredible contribution to our wedding and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

Jeremy is the best!
Highly, highly recommend hiring Jeremy!
We had an amazing experience from start to finish. We had lots of requests and ideas that made his job more complicated, and he was so generously game to accomodate everything we wanted—even when that meant bringing extra equipment, doing a more complicated setup, and spending time on the phone with us to go through all the details. He was very communicative and responsive throughout the whole process, and willing to take the time to listen to all our ideas and figure out how to make them work.
On the day, everything went perfectly! We got so many comments about what an amazing DJ he was and that our dance floor was so rockin'. He did a great job of mixing in our must-plays with other fun songs that got people dancing and songs we love that we hadn't even thought about putting on our list! He is great at reading the room/crowd and keeping the party going.
Afterwards, he even took the time to send us the photos and videos he had taken during the night, which was amazing—he captured some special moments that happened after our photographer and videographer had already left and we're so happy to have those memories!
We couldn't ask for a better experience with Jeremy! Hire him!

We had Jeremy DJ our wedding on 4/20/2024 and he was beyond AMAZING! We got married in OBX and are from Virginia Beach, VA. I found him at the Expo in OBX last August. From the minute we signed him on till the day of our wedding, he was always on top of his game when it came to communication, professionalism, availability, and most importantly, providing ideas when needed. He also took pictures and videos that evening and those looked very professional considering he was our DJ. He went above and beyond in every aspect while also sharing his knowledge of his business. I will highly recommend him to anyone and everyone and give him 5 stars. If we ever need a DJ for whatever reason in the future, Jeremy is who we will call!!

I cant thank Jeremy and his team enough for the most memorable wedding day/night. He absolutely crushed everything from the little details of our ceremony music to the cocktail hour and reception. Our guests said it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to!!!
On top of being a phenomenal entertainer - our wedding had to be moved indoors due to a tropical storm and the ceremony and reception spaces were the same. Without hesitation or a thought, Jeremy jumped right in to help our vendor team execute the impossible and flip our room around in no time. Ontop of that, there were power outages and non working elevators. I was so impressed with both Jeremy's professionalism, humanity and genuine happiness for my groom and I on our wedding day, despite the chaos. I will forever remember dancing my butt off and having the best day of our lives, but I will also remember how kind and genuine the team is at OBX Entertainment. Thank you Jeremy

We discovered the magic that is Phil Watson on Spotify, and we absolutely adored his voice. When we last-minute needed someone to play for our ceremony and cocktail hour, Phil was the obvious choice. Working with Jeremy, Phil, and the Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment team was nothing short of wonderful. They know what they’re doing!! Between the easy booking protocol, the thorough form to submit ceremony songs, and the pre-wedding emails with detailed information on how to best prepare for the wedding – we knew we were in good hands. Numerous guests reported that ours was the only ceremony they’ve attended where the music cues were timed correctly, and we REALLY appreciate that! Phil was so kind and talented throughout the process. Thank you to Phil, Jeremy, and the entire team for going above and beyond to make our wedding magic!

Jeremy Russell and the Generations was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. They are extremely thorough in planning and communicate extremely well! They adapted to changes in plans and were on top of emceeing the entire night, keeping everything right on track! They had everyone on the dance floor from the first song until the last (even the encore!) We had the absolute best time and can’t recommend them enough!

The most FUN night!
Jeremy helped give us the most fun wedding and was such a delight to work with. In the planning stages, he was very thorough, making sure he understood exactly what we wanted to hear at what times and also the “no-plays.” During cocktail hour, his acoustics were beautiful, really setting the vibe for the whole rest of the night. We had a big dancing crowd and Jeremy absolutely gave everyone the fun atmosphere they were hoping for during the reception. We danced the night away and couldn’t have had a better time. Really kept the party going!
Music is something I was picky about. I love a good dance floor and hate that every single wedding plays close to the same playlist. I tried to be detailed in my no-plays but have heard from many brides that at their weddings this was not adhered to. Raymond did a fantastic job of skipping the typical hour of oldies and went right to the good stuff. He grasped the vibe well and enjoyed joking with us about the tropical storm, playing Ophelia (name of the storm) during the reception which we loved. We truly had a great time and are so thankful for him!
Phil did our ceremony and cocktail music live acoustic, and he did an absolutely beautiful job! Having live music at the cocktail hour really elevated the atmosphere, and he is absolutely lovely! Everyone was quick to respond, and easy to plan with. I highly recommend them!

Best Party Ever!!
Jeremy and his team are truly amazing! We had such a great time at our wedding. I knew from the moment I heard Phil singing at the OBX wedding weekend that I needed to have them for our wedding day and I'm so glad I did! The process was easy and everyone was so personable and easy to talk with. I communicated with Jeremy's assistant Emily leading up to the day and she is just awesome, attentive, and on top of everything. Responses to emails were in no more than 24 hours ever. Phil was a hit at our cocktail hour and all of our guests loved him! Truly a talented person and guests are still talking about it a month later! We had Raymond DJ at our reception and he KILLED it. We had a mixed crowd with a lot of different kinds of people and I wasn't sure how it was going to pan out but DJ Face was perfect and amazing!!! He got the vibe of our party immediately and played the perfect music. Everyone was dancing and everyone had a great time. You made our party an unforgettable one, thank you so much!!!!

Jeremy was the best - we had a band that cancelled at the last minute and he rescued us as a DJ for the night. His band was already booked for our big party and they were awesome - really excellent and adjusted their play list as they got a feel for our crowd. We couldnt be happier!!

We booked Jeremy to do acoustic music for our ceremony and cocktail hour followed by DJ-ing for the evening. He was great! He was happy to accommodate our quirky acoustic song requests (Jurassic Park and Lego Theme song!) and was a great personality to have at the wedding. His DJ set was perfect. If you're going DJ in OBX, you have to go Jeremy!
Jeremy was amazing! He handled sound for our vows and DJ'ed the music. He took our favorite music styles into consideration and played music we loved but was less of a dance floor song throughout dinner. Then he kept the party pumping when it was time.
One of my favorite moments of the night was when Jeremy asked me if I'd prefer Aladdin or Mulan and then played Mulan's I'll Make a Man Out of You at my request. This was a millennial wedding, so the entire dance floor sang along with gusto!

We love Jeremy!
We have had Jeremy play for our family while on vacation twice and he is wonderful! He is a great musician, but he is also so fun and interacts with our family taking requests and even letting the kids do karaoke a bit. He is very kind, and we will definitely invite him back!

Jeremy and the Generations put on an unbelievable reception for our wedding on May 6th at the Inn On Pamlico Sound. When we originally reached out, Jeremy and his band was unfortunately unavailable on our date but he followed up later when the date opened up and we are so grateful for his proactiveness, in hindsight we wouldn't have wanted any one else. Jeremy performed acoustic music during our ceremony which was exceptional and handled everything from first dance songs to wireless microphones for the toasts. When it came time to dance at the reception, they had the entire party on the dance floor groovin'. Over 2 hours of non-stop tunes, they finally wrapped up and finished the night with a few DJ'd hits which were the cherry on top. After the wedding, we've heard from so many friends and family asking "who was that band?!" as they were so impressed, a testament to their musical talent and ability to play the right song at the right time. I cannot recommend Jeremy enough!!!

I work in the OBX in the wedding Industry so you could say I’ve seen them all. Jeremy is the best. I’ve watched him hype up huge weddings and keep them dancing all the way till the end and also play acoustic music and create the most casual yet elegant atmosphere. I knew when my daughter was getting married that we wanted Jeremy to do our music. He is a cut above. The way he can match his playing to the vibe of the event, it’s truly amazing. My family is still talking about how perfect the music was. Thank you so much Jeremy for helping make our daughters wedding perfect!

So dang FUN!
Jeremy was PERFECT. Beautiful acoustic guitar during our ceremony and a DJ that never had a lull on the dance floor. We loved every minute! I knew my family would be ready to dance that butts off but he helped them take it to another level.
Everyone was up and in on the fun! I'd hire him all over again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely fabulous and fun!
Jeremy was amazing to work with, he kept the crowd going with his awesome playlist and knew exactly what our guests wanted to hear. He even got some fun pictures and videos of our wedding and sent them to us. Jeremy took the time to get to know us and even helped us build a timeline and had a helpful timeline sheet to fill out to make the most out of our wedding day. He provided acoustics and vocals for part of the ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone loved him! He was professional, affordable, and easy to work with. We highly recommend his services!! Also, we got to see Jeremy and his band at fish heads over the summer which solidified our decision even more. What an awesome band. Jeremy really made our wedding day memorable.

Hands down, the best DJ experience!
Jeremy was so kind and responsive up to our wedding day. We planned an outdoor ceremony and reception, but unfortunately hurricane Ian had other plans. Jeremy stopped by the day before to scope out our situation and without hesitation explained how he could set up inside and make our space work. He dropped off equipment the day before and set everything up seamlessly. He made our day/evening so special and played the perfect tunes all night. I didn't even know until the next day that he actually had played guitar and sang for our guests during cocktail hour!!! I am so sad that I didn't get to witness that. Hands down, 1000/10 would recommend Jeremy and his services! THANK YOU!!!

September Wedding with Jeremy
I would highly suggest hiring Jeremy as your wedding DJ. He was amazing! Jeremy was extremely on top of his calendar, providing contracts, and responding to any questions we had. He provides a questionnaire to complete with all the little details and song choices which keep everyone on track and in the loop to ensure things go smoothly. We provided a few of our ‘must play’ songs along with ‘do not plays’ and left the rest up to him for the reception. He knew exactly what songs to play to keep our guests up and dancing on the dance floor. His choices also flowed extremely well. For our cocktail hour, he played the guitar which our guests loved - and we loved his flexibility to switch between DJ and guitar! His uplighting was set up well and worked great with our venue. He also sent us a few photos/videos a few weeks after the wedding - these were so unexpected but greatly appreciated. We are SO glad with our choice in DJ and have only positive things to say!

Simply the best! Jeremy is a jack of all trades which puts a unique spin on your event. He is a very passionate DJ and musician and made sure our night ran smoothly. My family and friends were on the dancefloor the entire night. Every song was too good to step off. I was so happy I booked him for an extra hour. Also, his white marble dance floor came in handy when my friends decided to slide across the floor on their chests. Jeremy will make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. No need to search around, it doesn't get any better than Jeremy.

The perfect band for my wedding
When we decided to go with a band for our wedding, booking Jeremy and his band were an easy decision. My husband and I are local to OBX, so we have seen Jeremy play at other weddings and local restaurants. He always does such a good job of captivating and entertaining the crowd. Through the entire planning process, Jeremy was super responsive to our inquiry, made some great suggestions, and was easy to talk to while discussing our vision. After the wedding, we got so many compliments on the music! We definitely recommend booking Jeremy and his band for any event!

Jeremy was fantastic from start to finish! He spent a lot of time with my daughter prior to the wedding figuring out exactly how she wanted things to go. He assisted her with a timeline and with music selection. He was respectful of her requests and offered alternatives. He played acoustic guitar and sang for cocktail hour and was amazing! Our guests are still talking about it a month after the wedding. I highly recommend his services for your wedding!

Life of the party!
Music was such an important part of our big day because we wanted people out on the dance floor and Jeremy accomplished just that!!! Amazing choice!!
Jeremy was an absolute joy to work with during the months of planning leading up to our wedding, and DJ Raymond was absolutely fantastic the day of our wedding. He was fun, outgoing, hilarious, and brought lots of cheers and laughter to our big day. He kept our crowd dancing all night long and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! Jeremy was easy to work with to coordinate timing and music selection, and he offered great advice along the way. He was able to ensure that both our ceremony and reception needs would be covered, and his team worked great with our other vendors. The Most Fun!
We had the full 7 piece band and they were AMAZING! Everyone at our wedding talked about how awesome and fun they were. Cannot recommend Jeremy and this band enough. Jeremy Russell is a must have for OBX weddings
We absolutely loved having Jeremy as our DJ. Not only did he play wonderful music, and followed our request list exactly, he also played the ukulele as I walked for the aisle to "somewhere over the rainbow", which felt absolutely perfect for the beach ceremony. For cocktail hour he played some wonderful acoustic music on the guitar, then switched to DJing for to get the dance floor grooving. I really appreciated Jeremy's detail orientated approach which showed when he sent an in depth form to get to know us as a couple and know our music must haves/do not plays. He was so communicative and checked in with us every step of the way. His sound equipment was also perfect for the beach ceremony and allowed all the guests to hear us crystal clear. If you are getting married in OBX, Jeremy is your must have DJ because he does it all, with kindness and communication!

Great DJ/Musician!
Jeremy was overall fantastic! Super responsive, friendly and easy going, LOVED that he could do the ceremony, cocktail hour, AND reception music, and his ukulele playing was on point! We had the most perfect weather so many guests ended up hanging outside for most of the evening while the little kids played inside, and Jeremy was quick to pivot to their age-appropriate music (queue the Frozen soundtrack) which they (and their parents who got a break from entertaining them) loved. All other music choices were exactly what we wanted and when we finally hit the dance floor, Jeremy kept everyone moving. THANK YOU again!!

Amazing musician and dj! Made our wedding day perfect
Jeremy was so amazing to deal with from the start of planning, to the wedding day & even following up afterwards. Entertainment was our #1 priority & he did not disappoint! We planned our wedding from several states away and had custom requests (like my dad playing his guitar and singing a dedicated song to me) & I mean it when I say EVERYTHING turned out perfect. Our dance floor was so packed that you couldn't even see the floor underneath everyone. And we absolutely loved the option of having both a musician and DJ option without booking multiple vendors. I could not recommend him enough!

At the beginning of our wedding planning process my husband and I listed our top 3 priorities for our wedding and DJ was on both of our lists. Jeremy was not only able to do our reception but he played acoustic for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I was very vague on the music for the reception and he was able to keep our guests (of many ages) on the dance floor all night. After our wedding we received many compliments from our guests!! Although Jeremy was outstanding the entire evening, he really went above and beyond during our first look. He was setting up his DJ booth and noticed me about to go for my first look and waved! Next thing I knew, he was playing our first dance song and I was a total mess! It's been almost 6 months and I still get goose bumps and begin to feel tears in my eyes. Jeremy is absolutely outstanding and I cannot highly recommend him enough.

Working with Jeremy was a breeze! He provided guitar services at our ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ services at our reception. We're still getting compliments on how great the music was at our wedding!

We were looking to have a laid back reception with really good music. The outer banks wedding crew came through and made the night!
