We got married on 7.27, and having Erik and his team as our videographer, photographer, and drone pilot was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the very beginning, Erik was warm, professional, and so easy to work with. We met with him several times leading up to our big day, and he always took the time to listen, offer ideas, and make sure every detail was just right. His team went above and beyond our expectations every step of the way.
On the wedding day, Erik and his crew made everything run so smoothly- especially during our family photos. We had elderly and differently-abled family members who needed extra care and time, and Erik handled everything with such patience, kindness, and grace. He made everyone feel comfortable and was able to capture those precious moments quickly and beautifully.
Honestly, I didn’t have a ton of photo inspiration going in because I was in such a whirlwind of emotions, but Erik completely came to the rescue. He guided us through everything and made our couple’s photos feel natural, romantic, and so special. Our videography also made me feel like such a princess during our private shoot before the ceremony. It was surreal.
Erik truly captures from the heart, and his work reflects that in every frame. We’re beyond grateful for the memories he’s preserved for us, and we can’t recommend Erik and his team highly enough! -

Erik and the team at O'Ryan Empire did such an amazing job for our engagement session and wedding! We did our engagement photos at The US Grant Hotel in San Diego and our wedding was at Falkner Winery. Erik was super responsive over text and email and made everything feel so easy and stress-free leading up to the wedding. We had four O'Ryan team members shooting photography and videography on our wedding day and they were all so kind and easy to work with. Erik does a great job of posing you and making it not feel awkward at all (my husband hates photoshoots and he actually enjoyed the photo sessions with Erik!!). We received sneak peeks within days and they are absolutely stunning. Their team is worth every penny and I couldn't recommend them enough! -

Erik was incredible to work with! From the start, he made us feel so comfortable and guided us through everything. He’s super professional, detail-oriented, and helped us stay relaxed and truly enjoy the day. I looked at over 25 photographers, and the moment I saw his Instagram, I knew he was the one. The photos turned out even better than we imagined, we honestly look like Hollywood model stars (and we’re definitely not, lol). Our friends and family still can’t stop talking about how amazing the pictures are!
His team also did our videography and captured every special moment beautifully. Erik and his team worked so hard on our wedding day, they knew exactly where to be and made everything feel effortless.

We had such a wonderful experience with O'Ryan Empire Photography and his team. Eric is personable and made our engagement shoot fun. There was never a moment where we felt awkward about posing Infront of a stranger. Needless to say, the pictures turned out beautiful.
Wedding:
Prior to the event, we spoke with Eric, and he answered all of our questions and allayed our concerns. He was also very receptive to all our thoughts. Once the big day arrived, Ryan and the team were so prepared and completed everything seamlessly. This team does not waste any time and truly begin to capture everything! It was go-go-go with direction the moment that I arrived. I appreciated this as I have heard many horror stories of photographers simply letting you pose as you want or wasting time trying to figure out poses. Within 72 hours, I was sent the most beautiful "sneak peeks" from the wedding day. Truly, they know what they are doing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! -

Erik is absolutely spectacular to work with! He captured our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we love how they turned out. He made us feel comfortable and just have fun during the shoots, which made the photos turn out so cute. We especially loved how he handled my surprise for the groom - his groomsman dressed up in a 80s wedding dress for the first look and Erik was a total pro. He even helped to hide the bridesmaid who wore the wrong color dress in some of the photos and offered to photoshop it for us so it matched with everyone else. He was so great to work with, we look forward to using him again for our future family photoshoots. -

We cannot recommend this team enough. Erik and Jaclyn took the time to personally get to know us, do a walkthrough at our venue, and understand our priorities for photos & videos on our big day. They set expectations very clearly. I highly recommend doing an engagement photo shoot as well because it's a great chance to get to know them and their personality. They made both me and my husband feel so relaxed it honestly didn't even feel like we were ever "posing" for photos. Erik has this incredible presence of calmness (which is super needed during all things wedding) while also being super on top of it and getting everything done. I never once felt worried about our footage or our photos because I knew Erik had it covered. Thank you O'Ryan Empire for being one of the top highlights of our wedding experience. We are beyond grateful. Your customer service was above and beyond. -

Hire them!
We only had the opportunity to meet Erik, and he was so amazing. Not only is he truly amazing at what he does, but he was also great to work with — easy going and so fun. Our engagement photos turned out amazing, and I can’t wait to see our wedding photos and video. We were so hesitant whether to go the cheap route for a wedding photographer or spend more money for better value, and I’m so so happy we chose to spend more. My wife and I happen to come across O'Ryan Empire Photography while venue shopping. We set up a meeting with Jaclyn and Erick and instantly felt like we had been talking with long-time family friends. After our initial consultation we continued with our engagement shoot which was such a great experience and so much fun. As we approached our wedding, Jaclyn and Erik did everything to make sure that we were more than prepared for our day. They are such an incredible duo and have such an amazing team. Our photos came out just as we expected...perfect! We loved working with them and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! I’m not sure where to begin with O’Ryan Empire. Jaclyn and Erik are relatable, funny, professional and extremely talented. We both tout them as our most valued vendor due to everything they did for us from engagement shoot to delivering the wedding gallery link. They worked with our dog really well, which meant a lot to us. And while I know every bride and groom likes to think they have the best photos ever, our photos seriously look like they belong in a magazine. Having worked for a media company, I like to think I have some credibility in saying this! :) On the day of, they both worked the entire wedding/reception in sleek black outfits and in-ear walkie talkies to keep track of their progress together. I found this all really impressive and well planned on their part. They guided the wedding party and families in the most efficient way I’ve seen at a wedding and had us off to our grand entrance in plenty of time. I would recommend this team to anyone and everyone and we plan to reach out again if we have any future photo needs! -

They have such an amazing talent for capturing ‘moments’ which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. It’s not the formal photos that remind you how great your day was – it’s the natural fun and excitement that is so important to be documented. Eric & Jaclyn's ability not to miss a moment is incredible, and their energy and passion comes across in the photos. Eric & Jaclyn are truly innovative and inspirational photographers.
