Five-Star Wedding Experience at Orange Tree Golf Resort!

We couldn’t have chosen a more enjoyable and professional venue for our wedding reception than the Orange Tree Golf Resort! From the moment we toured the property, we were impressed by the property, the elegant ballroom, and the overall peaceful atmosphere of the resort.

The staff went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. They were friendly, responsive, and truly cared about every detail—from the table settings to the timeline. The event coordinator Jennifer was especially helpful in guiding us through the planning process, making sure everything flowed smoothly and stress-free.

Our guests were blown away by the event and the serene golf course backdrop. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Many of our friends and family are still talking about how delicious the dinner was!

What truly stood out was the level of care and professionalism. Orange Tree Golf Resort made us feel like our event was their top priority, and that made all the difference. We’re so grateful for the unforgettable memories we created here and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful and well-managed wedding venue.

Our daughter's wedding reception was absolutely perfect at Orange Tree. From the moment I first sent a reception inquiry to loading up the wedding gifts after the affair, we were attended to promptly, professionally and most important - personally. Jennifer is a master at what she does, attending to the smallest details and going above and beyond, solving for those unexpected events (that always happen!) leaving the bride and her family to just ENJOY the party. I wouldn't hesitate to hold another wedding reception there and eagerly refer others to Orange Tree Resort Mariposa Ballroom, Jennifer's coordination, excellent food and professional wait staff.

If you want a relaxed, but perfect wedding experience, I highly recommend that you coordinate an outdoor patio wedding with Jennifer (director of catering and special events). As a bride that dreaded planning her wedding, I was relieved that Jennifer was easy going, but incredibly detailed. She went out of her way on several of our desires, but not necessities. Here’s some of the small non-contract things that delighted us:
1. Coordinating electrical requirements for our band
2. Securing our favorite local craft beer (Four Peaks Hazy)
3. Executing a hyped golf cart grand entrance
4. Plating salads for toasts prior to a buffet style dinner
She also was helpful in food selection and overall layout of the wedding. Pair her with the venue recommend wedding planner (The Wedding Troupe), and you will have a superstar duo that will supersede your and your guest’s expectations.

My husband and I got married in February 2022 at Orange Tree Golf Resort and it was perfect. It was picturesque and the most perfect day. We worked with the on-site wedding coordinator, Jennifer, leading up to and on our wedding day. She was wonderful and answered all of our questions promptly. She worked with our wedding planner and other vendors to ensure our event went seamlessly.

Side Note:
If you do book your wedding at Orange Tree Golf Resort, just know that the hotel is a separate entity. You will have to work with Extra Holidays/Wyndham separate from Jennifer.

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with Orange Tree Golf Club as our wedding reception venue. We don’t have a single critique - the food was amazing, the staff were professional, responsive, kind and efficient and the coordinator, Jennifer, is such a gem! The ballroom turned-out looking magical, too. Many thanks to Jennifer, Pattie and Orange Tree Golf Club for an outstanding experience!

When we first began planning our daughter’s wedding, we had no idea how difficult it would be trying to do it 1,000 miles away in Austin, Texas. The very first thing we did was search for the perfect venue that could not only host both the wedding and reception together but would also give us the most for our budget. Initially we began working with Janea who was very patient and answered all our questions. Since we were 1,000 miles away, we were unable to do a walk-through of the venue, so Janea sent us photos of the space and grounds and made it easier for us to visualize it. As we were getting closer to the original wedding date, Covid decided to complicate matters and we were forced to move the date out a year. By that time, Janea was furloughed, so we then began working with Jennifer Zuraikat – who, in the end, ended up being our saving grace. From the very beginning, Jennifer was AMAZING. She always took the time to answer all my emails – and there were A LOT. If I had a question that she could not answer right then, she would let me know and would quickly get that answer for me. She was very sweet and professional from beginning to end. I always had tons of questions about everything, and she was always there for me when I needed her with so much patience!

When we arrived at Orange Tree Golf Club, we were blown away by how gorgeous the grounds were. The view was so beautiful that we had decided to keep decorating to a minimum for the ceremony outside at the gazebo. While we were setting up outside, the foyer and the ballroom, her staff was there, ready to help with whatever we needed to make sure that everything was perfect. We had over 200 candles that we needed lit for the cocktail hour in the foyer and the reception in the ballroom, which staff took care of for us.

Ten minutes before the ceremony was to begin, I was informed that our DJ was a no-show. While I was outside the venue trying desperately to get in touch with the DJ, Jennifer came out and assured us that everything would work out, that if we could not get in touch with the DJ, that they had a PA system that we could hook up to a cell phone with a playlist if needed. Fortunately, we had a guest who had DJ’d, so Jennifer had the staff bring in the PA system, got it hooked up and by the time the guests were ready to enter the ballroom for the reception, everything was set up and we were able to have music and dancing for our guests. There are no words to describe how appreciative we are for all that Jennifer did for us. Through all the chaos, panic and tears, she remained professional, calm and did what she could to make sure that the rest of the evening went smoothly.

The food – we were a little nervous since our daughter had chosen a plated meal of filet mignon, mashed potatoes and asparagus instead of buffet. We were unsure with how many plates had to be distributed, if it would remain at least warm by the time they got to each guest table. We worried for nothing – the hors d’ouvres and our meal were DELICIOUS and HOT! Each tray of food was covered with cloches, which helped keep the meals hot when they were placed at each table. All the guests raved about the food and were blown away by the quality and quantity – one of the best meals we have ever had at a wedding.

Overall, our daughter’s wedding was beautiful. We still get compliments from guests on how great of a time they had and how beautiful the venue was. Everyone from our event planner Jennifer to the waitstaff to the kitchen staff were so sweet and helpful and made it possible for our daughter to have her dream wedding come true. Everyone was easy to work with and made planning an out of state wedding effortless. If anyone is considering Orange Tree Golf Club for their wedding – DO IT!!! And make sure to ask for Jennifer – you will not be disappointed!!!

We shopped different venues, and for the value and the beauty of the place would recommend. The staff from the catering dept, to the hotel went above and beyond expectations.

We loved working without Orange Tree for our wedding! They were very accommodating and everything went smoothly. They were wonderful at day of coordination and also handled all the details of the wedding so well. So easy to work with and very affordable. We feel like we got our dream wedding without breaking the bank, which makes me so happy!

Kristin Carter was wonderful! Her and the catering staff pulled off our wedding flawlessly! My husband and I were very happy with the venue, the staff, how they set up my vision decoration wise, and the food was delicious. We can’t say enough food things about how our wedding went!

From the moment we began exchanging emails, Kristin was incredibly responsive. No matter the question, no matter the issue, no matter the time of day, she always put our minds to ease. Coming from Calgary, Alberta, we had a pile of requests and questions but Kristin made everything so easy for us. We had the most beautiful wedding imaginable. If you are wondering whether or not you should use the package services offered by Orange Tree, DO IT! The value, service, and outcome was well worth it from Erin Ashlee Photography, Jeremy (the DJ), Leslie (Leapin Lilys flowers) and Brian from Oh My Goodness Cakes (he made us AMAZING cupcakes!!!). We also received exceptional service from the front desk staff/concierge at Orange Tree Resort. It made accommodations a breeze for our guests, up to around 120 people that were coming from Canada, the U.K., and Switzerland. They did their best to place us in rooms that were close together and the shuttle service from the lobby to our rooms was very convenient. The only concern from our guests was The Grove restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed and slow at times. Perhaps this was because they were understaffed (especially during the breakfast rush) and couldn't seem to accommodate all of our guests quickly and promptly. But, from an event standpoint, the day-of and evening celebrations at Orange Tree could not have gone smoother and I would HIGHLY recommend this location. Kristin is an absolute dream to work with and will do everything she possibly can to make this the best day of your life. It was for us!

WOW WOW WOW!! There really aren't enough words to describe how incredible our experience and our wedding was with Kristin and the whole crew at Orange Tree.
To start, we began looking at reception venues about 2 years before our actual wedding and just so happened upon Orange Tree at one of their open houses (which we would highly recommend attending if you are at all considering Orange Tree for your wedding!). It was here that we fell in love with the resort and, perhaps more important, Kristin Carter. I think we visited Orange Tree 3-4 times before finally choosing a date and saying "YES!" to the venue and boy are we glad we did!
Our wedding was beyond perfection. The ballroom was out-of-this-world beautiful (especially thanks to the ceiling draping, market lighting, and chandelier from Orange Tree!), the food was delicious (medium rare filet mignon was a HUGE hit!), and our wedding was a party from the get-go. Our guests had a great time and we couldn't be happier to have begun our wunderful lives together by celebrating at Orange Tree.
Thank you for everything, Kristin, you were incredible and we can't say enough great things about you and Orange Tree! Thank you for making our wedding dreams a reality!! :)

We had our wedding at Orange Tree and everything turned out better than we could have hoped for. We had our food tasting with the caterer a few months before the wedding and were blown away with how great the food was for the price. They also have a great priced bar package with a very nice alcohol selection. On our wedding day the staff were super attentive to everyone's needs. The guests were blown away with the chicken and steak dishes that we chose for dinner, and had a great experience with the bar service.

Our daughter and her fiance previewed several reception venues while planning their wedding. After their meeting Kristin Carter (Orange Tree Resort, Director of Catering), the decision was much easier to make final. They were so very impressed with Kristin's professionalism and overall genuine care and thoughtfulness. Words cannot express our gratitude for the most beautiful wedding reception for our daughter. Kristin remained readily accessible throughout the entire planning process and especially on day of a wedding. All 200+ guests enjoyed a most memorable evening. Our hearts are full! Kristen Carter and Patty Packard were so very helpful during the entire process. They helped Carole and I plan our beautiful wedding. All of the guests raved about the setting and the completeness of the event. It was a very beautiful day ceremony and reception.

We were so lucky to have found this venue for our Wedding reception. We were on a budget and had been looking around for several months. Not only was this venue perfect but we got more than anticipated. Food was great, alcohol package amazing, cake turned out wonderful, and of course the best part of it all was working with Kristen Carter! She was fantastic and helped me every step of the way!

Our wedding was absolutely incredible! We could not have been happier with this venue and the Wedding Coordinator-Kristin! Very responsive and easy to work with during the planning process. Everything went exactly as planned, we highly recommend the signature filet as an entree as well as the cake vendor provided as part of our wedding package. Definitely a great deal compared to many of the overpriced Venues throughout the valley...we looked at quite a few.

Our guests stayed at the resort as many came in from out of town. The bell staff was great, rooms were spacious, and the tempurpedic bed very easy to get a good night rest.

Kristen Carter and everyone that helped plan, organize and execute our Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding went above and beyond every expectation my husband and I had! Kristen was there throughout the whole process, and took all of the stress off of our shoulders. My husband and I both work crazy hours, and had no time to sit down an plan anything other than the date, the colors, the theme and put together a guest list. Kristen and her team listened to our minimal input, and were able to create the most beautiful wedding we have ever seen. She also recommended every vendor we used, which saved us the stress of searching and/or being disappointed with the end product. Not only did everything turn out beautifully, but every Orange Tree staff member involved went out of his/her way to make our special day stress free!

Friendly staff, helpful & professional. Always willing to listen & help. Made the best accommodations for everyone. My only disappoint was that we did not get the rooms we requested days prior to the wedding & the day of the wedding we got to switch to the rooms we had originally requested which made it slightly chaotic , however staff was quick to help and made the transition smooth& easy , especially Randall & Josh :)

I fell in love with this venue when my husband and I attended our friend's wedding in 2011. Staff was amazing. Patty and Kristin were so responsive to every email and question that we had. I was so scatter brained and I appreciate all the help they gave. Any issues we had were promptly addressed. Food was amazing, and the resort staff was amazing as well. We would definitely recommend them to anyone. The night was everything I dreamed of and more. I only wish I could do it again!

My wife & I had a wonderful experience working with Kristin & Jennifer to organize our wedding & Reception at the Orange Tree Golf Resort! At first I couldn't see how everything was going to work in the time we needed, then again I have never planned a wedding. Kristin & Jennifer were awesome!! They told my wife and I to relax and that they had full control on our wedding day. And they were right! They took extra special care of us, our family, and our guests. Many friends and family members said it was the best wedding they have been to! Very pretty, professional, classy, & FUN! With no stress....

We are so happy we chose the have our wedding at the Orange Tree Golf Resort. Joyce Harwood and Kerry Ly were an absolute pleasure to work with! The outdoor gazebo is such a stunning place to have your ceremony, the ballrooms are gorgeous, and the food was AMAZING! We had a lot of guests say how much they enjoyed everything. The guest rooms were also beautiful!

I wanted to get married in Scottsdale, but had a hard time finding a venue that could work with my budget. The Orange Tree offers very affordable prices and packages to suit any wedding.

Keep in mind that the Orange Tree is undergoing some changes, shortly before our wedding they closed down their lobby bar and restaurant. However, because of this the entire North Wing of the hotel is all yours on the day of your wedding.

The Orange Tree Golf Resort was everything that I envisioned for my wedding. Kerry Ly, the assistant coordinator was so thorough, explaining every detail, and taking such detailed notes on all my requests. The Beautiful Seville Room was my first choice for the reception, such a fun layout and beautiful interior! But after my guest list grew, I transferred to the Mariposa Ballroom. A grand room with high ceilings, elegant lighting fixtures, and regal molding I barley needed any decorations. The Mariposa Foyer is where I held my ceremony, Kerry actually had it decorated it for me! It looked amazing with the enormous windows looking over the golf course! It felt like we were outside, only in the comfort of air conditioning (July in Arizona). The food was amazing, the staff accomidation, the room we stayed in was beyond all our expections! I reccomend The Orange Tree highly. Our wedding is currently on their wedding blog. Andrew and Lorraine Married July 4th : ) Happy Wedding!

The Orange Tree was an exceptional venue and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience there. I planned my wedding from out of state and was on a small budget so I did a lot of things myself. Kerry at the Orange Tree was so great at returning all my emails and phone calls immediatley and made things so painless for me. Since I created a lot of things for the wedding myself and I am kind of a control freak I was really concerned about relaxing and letting someone else take care of decorating the reception hall and ceremony site. But they did an amazing job, the staff put together all my centerpieces, alphabetized the seating cards and decorated everything perfectly.

Our guests gave us a million compliments about how wonderful the food was and the cake turned out to be better than I pictured it in my head. The entire staff was amazing and took care of us flawlessly the entire week before and the weekend of.

I would say that my big day went off flawlessly thanks to the staff at the Orange Tree :)

I would definitely recommend this venue!! Our special day was absolutely amazing. Throughout the day Kristen was so helpful and flexible and made sure that everything was taken care of right away. The staff (especially Randall :) )was polite, kind, and went out of their way to help in anyway possible. They went above and beyond to make sure our entire wedding party, family and guests were taken care of. During the planning process Kristen was very responsive and helpful. We did hours of research into venues and this was a great deal for the package we got. The hor d'oeuvres, salad, and main course were absolutely delicious!

Kristin helped make our wedding amazing. She was extremely easy to work with, and would highly recommend her and Orange Tree Resort for your wedding.

OMG!!! We had our wedding here yesyerday and it was awesome!!!!!!!!! All the bellmen was extremely helpful whenever we needed to bring all the decorations to set up. They always offered to shuttle items (for the groomsmen) to other part of the resort. I too, like another reviewer, am a complete control freak. It was hard to let someone else decorate for me. We pre-tied all the chair sashes ahead of time and they slipped them all on for the reception. I had some pain-in-the-butt martha stewart paper lanterns and they hung all of them very creatively. The changes they made recently (with the loss of the wedding people I had been dealing with...Kerry Ly and Joyce, the catering outsource to Dads Catering and closing down the old lobby area) made me nervous at first. But it all turned out great!! Everyone from the front desk staff, the bellman waiting outside, to the lady that took our order at the outside snack bar area were very friendly....which I liked since we had a lot of out-of-towners from the east coast who are used to being friendly. The only reason i put a little lesser rating on the professionalism was for the wedding coordinator. I wish she would have called me 72 hours (the limit) in advance to request my final guest count rather than email me the request. What if I did not check my email that day? I was so busy and almost forgot....luckily my panicked dad called me and we had 60 people less...so the cost was way less in the end!!

There were a few bumps along the night, i.e. the transition from the cocktail hour to the reception. But all in all, everything was fantastic and the guests had a great time.

Food/beverage was awesome! Beware of rooms... Coordinator sucked and front desk wasn't very helpful. They spread our room "block" all over the resort and even ignored our request for a first floor room for my fiancé with a broken foot and ankle!!!!

Orange tree golf resort has a gorgeous gazebo for the ceremony surrounded by beautiful green grass and huge mature trees in the background, not to mention a pretty water fountain in the nearby pond that created a really cool tranquil environment. The ballroom was a perfect size and had neutral colors that would've matched any of the themes I had in mind during the planning process. To top it off both Kristin Carter and Patty Packard were available any time I had a question or last minute change, which was extremely helpful and calming knowing that there would be no surprises!

The Orange Tree was a dream location for my two day wedding weekend. Jen, the onsite coordinator did a great job managing all the little details that went into making our big days so special. We had a vow renewal and a Indian wedding ceremony over the course of two days and they bent over backwards to ensure everything went smoothly. The in-house catering made delicious food for our luncheon. The in-house centerpieces, the in house sound system, the ballroom ceiling draping, all made for a magical evening reception in the Mariposa Ballroom. The water features and greenery made for a picturesque backdrop for our outdoor ceremonies. We are thrilled we chose Orange Tree and couldn't recommend them highly enough!

We were in the Mariposa ballroom and foyer with about 185 guests. The room was the perfect size for the group, and the foyer and grounds were beautiful for the cocktail hour. The service (outsourced by Dad's Catering) was great at the reception, although they were slightly under staffed for the size of our group. Employees of Orange Tree provided cart service transporting our guests from their rooms to the reception and back, which was a nice because the resort is pretty expansive. The Event Manager, Lynn, at Orange Tree was professional and helpful. The only negative in working with Orange Tree was that that the restaurant and bar at the hotel were closed due to the recession and the catering was not in-house. Overall, our guests enjoyed staying at the resort, and everyone had a great time at the reception. Orange Tree is a good value for a Scottsdale wedding.

We had our wedding 3/5/10 we had been working with Joyce Harwood and Kerry Ly for about 10months with our planning. About three weeks before the wedding I sent them an email to follow up on the details and got an auto response back saying they left the company. I found that very unprofessional and it made me extremely nervous because it wasn't too far from the wedding and we had a lot of details in it. We met with Lynn who was the catering manager and thier old boss who had stepped down. Her first impression was she was very nice and made sure were completly comfortable with everything and went over all the details with us to confirm everything we had done with Joyce and Kerry. She was good about emailing back to make sure all of our questions were answered and let us bring all of our wedding stuff to her office almost a week in advance.

The day of the wedding was sort of another story. They told us we would have early check in at 12 for the bridal suites to get ready in and when we showed up a little after noon our rooms were not ready yet. At first I was ok with it because we did have the early check in and its a big place but as the time went on it went from waiting 15mins to waiting 30 mins to 45mins they just kept saying its almost done. My bridal party started showing up and also the people I hired to everyones make up and hair so our time was running short because we had to be ready by 3:30 for pictures. It was very frustrating to me that we paid so much money to have our wedding there and they were not prepared for us to arrive. After I expressed my concern that we were pinched for time they told us they would give us the guys room that was resereved to get ready in because it was already ready and that she had called and talked with them and they were ok with it. I then called my fiance to thank him for waiting to come down to the hotel and giving us his room so I wouldn't be stressed and he had no idea what I was talking about, and stated that he was on his way down to get ready as well. So that was a little irritating that they hadn't told me the truth and hadn't called them. When he arrived there to get ready he found out the two rooms they gave us to get ready in were comped rooms that they gave us which was nice. During the wedding we were almost hit by 4 golf balls which was a little scary but thats the risk you take having your wedding at a golf course. When it came to the reception everything was set up beautifully and better then what I had imagined. When it came to our toast our personalized toasting glasses were missing and I couldn't find the orange tree wedding coordinater because she was doing a rehearsal for another wedding which was very frustrating to me that she wasn't available just in case something went wrong. We put off the toasts until we found her and when I asked here where the glasses were, and she had no idea what I was talking about even though I had dropped it off earlier in the week. When I reminded her what I had put it in when I dropped it all off she realized she left it under our cake table along with our personalized cake cutting set. Those were the only major things that happend and over all it was a stress free night like it should of have been and the ceremony had a beautiful backround. After the wedding we were taken by a bellman to our honeymoon suite which was a different room then where we had gotten ready at which is not what we were told and all of our stuff was in another room and we had to call security to bring it over and they brought us someone elses stuff that was in the wedding party. So they had to bring it back to that room and bring us our stuff. In the middle of that the person's stuff that they had brought was looking for it and was sent to our room to find it even though the security guard had left with it. It wasn't what we really wanted to worry about the night of our wedding and since our stuff was missing we didn't have our cell phones and the room phones wouldn't make outbound calls it just kept routing us to the front desk so we couldn't call and let anyone know what was going on.

When we originally signed to have our wedding at OrangeTree they were going to provide the food and cake with thier restraunt that they had onsite but they ended up closing it down and outsourced to Dads catering. The food was amazing it was filling and everyone loved it but the cake on the other hand looked beautiful but didn't taste very good. We only kept a slice of it for our anniversary because it didn't taste very good.

We were not 100% happy with how the day went but I have heard something always goes wrong at weddings and for the things that did were not major things so overall we were happy but wish things would have gone a little bit better.

Overall experience was good. To have my ceremony and reception in doors was perfect.
There were a few glitches with the crew at the reception. I think they need to have more than 1 person (employee) attending to the reception of as many guest that I had. Because i did not serve alcohol and asked the ice tea and lemonade bar. It did not get put out until after dinner, and I as the bride had to ask why it was not present.
I served Filet Mignon, chicken breast and vegetarian. My guest enjoyed their pick.

Our wedding was beautiful and the space was gorgeous, however, disappointed with the lack of accountability and lack of help provided by the banquet/banquet sales staffing. We often had to request for the items promised for us multiple times. The coordinators I hired to work with the orange tree coordinators had a very hard time finding the staff, many things would not have gotten done if my family wasn't there to do the majority of the work setting up.
Bartenders were underprepared and moving quite slow. The venue itself was beautiful but would not completely recommend to other couples.

Where to begin...this place is very chaotic and not very keen on making your day special. When we first booked the Orange Tree for the wedding ceremony/reception, we had Kristen who was wonderfully. She ensured me of backup plans just in case of bad weather etc. After a few months when we were going in for our taste testing, we found out that Kristen no longer works for the company. Patty, who was taking over for her, informed us that she hadn't been with the company for 4 weeks! No one informed us of the change, so I knew it may be difficult. It took them weeks to respond back to my questions, and I ended up not getting some things that I did request for the reception. The day before the wedding, we were not allowed to decorate the reception area (tables, setup, etc) until the day of the wedding. Patty didn't want to work with the other ideas we had planned since it rained and they were going to put us in this small room that just wouldn't work. She was very hard to work with and messed up our invoice a few times.

When I requested that someone be there in the morning to let me set up a "demonstration" table for my helpers to use, no one was there. I had to leave since I had to do my hair and makeup, along with my other bridesmaids and did not have time to wait. They did not get the tables ready until 12:30pm when our wedding photos/ ceremony started around 2:30pm. My husband ended up setting the tables (bless him!) and informed me that they rented out a few of the tables we needed! So instead of being able to have time to take photos at 2:30, I had to set up a few things after I was done getting ready. The rest of the evening went well and everyone ended up having a good time (that is why I gave them 3 stars).

However, the employees ended up throwing away some of my wedding stuff and damaged the umbrellas I had hanging from the ceiling. Then Patty hounded me a few days after the wedding, saying that I owed them money because she didn't calculate the sales tax right. I asked about the damaged wedding decor and what they threw away... she told me that I should of let her know so they wouldn't of thrown away certain items. I'm sorry, but I feel if it is wedding decor or anything that is not food, they should be kept until the next day when the customer can decide what will be kept, thrown out, etc.

I apologize for the novel I have written but please, go somewhere else where they are more professional.

Gazebo, grounds amde patio were absolutely beautiful! Price is great, especially for rhe Scottsdale area. My advice is to either check in before the wedding or have a check list and have someone arrive a couple hours early and make aure everything is set up as discussed beforehand. I had decorations and floral arrangements that never got set out, no microphone was set up for the ceremony or reception, the bridal party bouquets and corsages for moms were separated and missing, no one ever came to get us to say the ceremony was ready to start like they were supposed to, sprinklers went off during the reception and wet guests, and the coordinator was very hard to find all night. Beautiful and great price, but seriously lacks organization in my experience.

The Orange Tree is absolutely beautiful, but future brides beware, you will have some challenges. The responsiveness of call backs and returning emails is horrible. There were a few times that my mother-in-law called/emailed because Lynn was not returning my emails and phone calls, she would however call my mother-in-law right back. That was extremely frustrating because I was the main planner and could not get a hold of her. They were recently bought out and changed catering vendors prior to our wedding. The food was fabulous! However, during dinner they ran out of red wine, chicken and tortellini. We were told not to worry, they would keep everything refreshed and they wouldn't run out of anything on the buffet. We were extremely disappointed that most of our guests complained to the family about things running out when the Orange Tree promised that would not happen. They also promised that the bridal suite would be ready at noon and they would not rent out the room the night before to make sure it was ready for us. When all my bridal party and myself showed up at noon, the room was not ready, the maids were still cleaning it. They got us into the room 30 minutes late, and in wedding timelines, that threw the entire schedule off. They were not flexible, things are the way they are and Lynn never offered to try to compromise or change anything, she answered no to a lot of our questions.
My guests did have a great time, the resort is beautiful, but all the stress of lack of calls/emails, running out of food and wine during dinner was so disappointing....
