They really know what they are doing. Very kind people, When I didn't know what to really ask for they guided me through the entire process even gave me helpful advice on just about everything to do at our wedding. They really kept the wedding on track and on time. They were very interactive with the guests as well as my wife and myself. They definitely made the experience so much fun and memorable. They even recorded our vows which no one else did, not even the photographer! I would HIGHLY recommend them to all of my friends and family. Very well priced and all around very amazing people.

Steve and Ryan were great from beginning to end of this process. The have great communication, really sweet ideas, and are very known and savvy in the wedding scene. Steve managed the planning process and was kind and picked up on what we would want quickly. Ryan was the DJ for our event and was one and flexible. They have an old school photo booth that printed from an old printer which was very nostalgic, and they had lots of options for the pictures background and Ryan was always around to help. Our event had less dancing due to our guests, but everyone was commenting on how great the music was and a lot of people ended up dancing who I didn’t think would. These guys rock!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding DJ—Steve is hands down one of the BEST decisions we made for our big day! From the very first conversation, they were professional, organized, responsive, and genuinely excited to help bring our vision to life. The planning process was seamless and stress-free, and they really took the time to understand what we wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

An Exceptional Wedding DJ
Steve did a wonderful job as the DJ & photobooth manager for our wedding! He was really helpful from our first meeting with fun ideas for how to keep things going at the reception & it helped us envision how we wanted the night to flow. He struck the perfect balance between directing the guests to what was happening next & just letting everyone do their thing & have a great time. We really appreciated how he tailored everything to suit our needs ensuring that we got our perfect wedding day. Steve did a great job matching the vibe of the room with the music throughout the evening so that everyone had an amazing time! So many guests told us this was the best wedding they'd been to in ages & we feel a lot of the credit for that goes to Steve's excellent management of the music throughout the evening. The best DJ
Steven Jr was an awesome DJ at our wedding! He kept our reception fun and had everyone out on the dance floor. The photobooth was also a huge hit with all of our guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

The best dj experience ever!
I could write a book about how much I recommend Only the Best Sound. I have been to a hundred weddings and I have never seen where the DJ catered to all ages and all styles of the music I wanted. There was not a missed moment. He was on it and the dance floor was popping the entire night. He also orchestrated the speakers so that the music didn’t carry to the neighbors (it was an outside wedding). He truly captured my style of music (being from Argentina we wanted some Latin music which he nailed perfectly) and people were vibing perfectly. I appreciate these guys so much they were professional and went above and beyond!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wedding was perfect and you guys were a huge part of that success THANK YOU!!!!!!

We had the pleasure of finding Steve through our wedding planner, she highly recommended him and she was 100% spot on. Steve was amazingly thorough, we had several calls before the big day so he could make sure he understood what we wanted vibe-wise, when and what he'd play throughout the day. Without us asking or knowing, he had set up a little go pro cam to record the ceremony. This was beyond thoughtful since we didn't hire a videographer and still ended up getting a short video of the processional and vows. He surprised us with this video after the wedding, needless to say we deeply appreciated it. Overall the DJ is so important since they set the speed, tone and flow of the day and every one of our guests said how great the wedding went, Steve played a huge part in the success! Highly recommend!

Great DJ - Easy Planning
When looking for a DJ we knew we were looking for someone that would be able to provide our guests with great entertainment and also come with a photo booth. We met with Steve once before our wedding (plus a few emails) and were able to get everything we wanted from both DJing and photo booth planned out efficiently.our guests were on the dance floor all night or constantly using the photo booth. Steve was fantastic! We had several zoom calls in advance of the wedding to make sure we had a solid plan in place. Day of the wedding he showed up early for setup and was ready to go. His skills on the microphone seamlessly transitioned each component of the wedding!

We had such a blast at our wedding on October 1st, 2022!!! Steve was our dj and he was absolutely amazing!! He was really quick to respond to our emails and phone calls! He was extremely professional and wanted to make sure that we had the best time a our wedding! When we were thinking about a dj we knew that these guys were who we wanted. My best friend got married and had Steve’s son as their dj and I did not leave the dance floor I was having such a blast!! They have great energy and know how to read the room. Everything was absolutely perfect and let me tell you, they have so much experience you will not have to worry about a thing. Everything was exactly on schedule. We also consider our DJ not only our vendor but a friend through this. He jumped in and helped the kiddos with photos and anything needed. We did the Photo Booth and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Thank you Only the best sound! The most important day of our lives was perfect.

Steven made our day much better through his professionalism, recommendations, preparation, emcee skills, and DJing. Our friends and family loved him, and so did we! Steven spent time with us before the wedding to get a sense of who we are as a couple and how we wanted our big day. Such a fun experience
We had so much fun with OTBS! Steve was so flexible with our plans continuing to change, he was able to transition from one activity to the other without any awkwardness. We got a lot of compliments from guests about how professional and fun our MC was, as well as how special our first dances were- thanks to the special touch OTBS provides! Great Experience
Steve helped our recently ordained family member during their first time hosting our ceremony. He was very responsive to our requests and offered great suggestions. The Photo Booth was great. Missed out on taking advantage of the live stream experience. That was our only regret. Thank you Steve for making our day so special! Working with Steve and Ryan from Only the Best Sound Mobile DJ and Photobooth for my daughters wedding was such a wonderful experience! Steve worked with us on picking the songs and he also had some great ideas to incorporate into the reception. Anytime we called him, he always called us back or emailed us right away. My husband and I could not have been more at peace with Steven and his Son. If your looking for a DJ, here’s your top notch service! Best Sound is professional, genuine and provides the ultimate playlist, rather you would like to hand select all the music or find a collective balance like I chose to do, in which case keep my guest on the dance floor all night long. Many of our guest have complimented “our DJ”, making it one of the best weddings they have ever attended. My grandma even said she is still sore from “cutting a rug”. My husband and I quickly realized during our first meeting with Steven that there were details, such as what song to exit from the ceremony, what song to play as introduced as the new married couple, what time the DJ should depart our guest for dinner. Best Sound was compassionate enough to help me figure it all out, and when I say figure it Steven asked questions to get to know us better to be able to identify meaningful songs, wanted to know what was important to us, overall wanting to ensure our day was nothing but special! I am truly so thankful for Steven and Steven Jr, with Best Sound!
Not to mention the photo booth that kept our guest and young children entertained all night. The laughs we had that night we’re priceless and memories we have to look back on, now that we have received the digital album, make me even more filled with gratitude.

We got married on 7/16/22 and hiring Only the Best Sound was one of the easiest decisions I made during the entire planning process. Steve was a life saver when it came to figuring out my timeline and was so patient when I was overwhelmed and slow to make certain decisions. On the day of, Scott was our DJ with his wife Laura running the photobooth and they were both absolutely fantastic. Working with Steve was a dream come true. He was available for me throughout the process (which I needed as a stressed bride), and truly went above and beyond to provide me with our dream wedding. His photo booth was a highlight of our wedding- definitely book that along with his DJ services! Our guests LOVED taking home fun photos and putting them in our photo album book. I set the book aside and can't wait to look at all the fun photos very soon to relive the night! He even made a personalized photo booth template for our guests to take home.
He helped keep the party on track, incorporating all of the aspects and songs we requested. He did a great job of incorporating so many of my personalized song requests (I provided him with my playlists), while adding his own professional expertise; knowing what guests would love to get down and dance to! He is a true professional at what he does.

Looking out for the Happy Couple
Steve has really worked overtime to make sure he is the best wedding DJ he could possibly be. When we had our intro conversation, he explained that he attends conferences all over the US to hear of new ideas and connect with other DJs. He has some really special ideas and I will let you be surprised but just know that there was one thing in particular he incorporated that every one of my guests talked to me about after. Nobody had ever experienced it at a wedding before and everyone really cherished that moment.
If there is anything I can say about Only the Best Sound, it's that if you are getting married in Oregon, BOOK THEM!!!

Where do I even start. Steve was a dream. He was unbelievably flexible and responsive, regardless of the request. We asked if we could do karaoke for our reception and he took care of everything, even finding obscure song requests for guests. He did that all while handling a bunch of other stuff, including a Photo Booth, announcements, a live stream for long distance guests and getting the party going!

From the very start of wedding planning, Steven spent time with us on the phone sharing his expertise and providing the latest information for planning a wedding during the pandemic. As it got closer to the wedding date, Steven coordinated with us and spliced together the music for the ceremony, so the processional and recessional flowed smoothly and exactly how we wanted. He was able to provide two different set-ups to seamlessly accommodate for the outdoor ceremony and the indoor reception spaces. Steve (Sr.) was a pleasure to work with from the start. If you want a DJ who is a solid guy and who will make the event about you, not himself, then this is your DJ. If you have any questions or concerns, he is super accessible and responsive. Sound quality was great at both the ceremony and reception sites at Ski Bowl. Overall value can't be beat, the free photobooth was a great perk, and our guests loved him! So amazing
Steve is so wonderful to work with. He always made sure I was comfortable with the plan, and had some excellent suggestions for the timeline. His online system is so easy to work with and he pays attention to all the details that are added. We had rain on our wedding and he was so calm and collected. He made me feel better about the weather and made sure everything was perfect. My husband decided last minute he wanted to do introduction songs for all of our wedding party (12 people), and Steve was amazing and got all of it done the night before the wedding. I highly recommend him for your wedding, or any event you need a DJ at.

Don't look any further!!!! Amazing!
We hired Steve for our daughters wedding. He was amazing!! From our phone conversations where he brought up things I had never thought of to the reception Steve made the evening perfect. I can't emphasize enough how Steve helped in ways I never expected. Several of our guests made comments asking where we found him. There were so many little surprises. If you are trying to decide on a DJ, don't look any further!

Absolutely fantastic!
Only The Best Sound exceeded all of our expectations! They were very easy to communicate with, which helped lessen the stress of wedding planning. They were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond in so many ways. The photo booth was such a hit with our guests and we loved that we were able to get a copy of all the images after the wedding. Only The Best Sound kept our guests entertained from beginning to end! Additionally, they provided an audio edit for our first dances; a service you won't find anywhere else. Steve and Steven Jr helped us pull off some personalized requests which really made our wedding day unique and special. Looking back at our big day, choosing Only The Best Sound was a decision neither one of us regrets!

Best decision ever!
Everyone wants to stick to a budget when getting married, some have opted to have friends do music for them, or went with the cheapest option. I will say that hiring Steve as our DJ was by far one of the best decisions I made as a bride! It was economical and he MADE my wedding day- not a glitch between the planning, to the sparkler send off. He made every transition seamless and was engaging with my guest through every part of the day. I speak as a guest who first attended a wedding he did AND as a bride who hired him after having such a good time. You will not regret having him on your special day! He made it that much better!

One of the best decisions I made!
Working with Steve with Only the Best Sound was one of the best choices I made for my wedding. He was totally professional, personable, and knows how to make your wedding run smoothly. Also, the Photo Booth was a great hit, all my guests loved it. I would recommend Only the Best Sound to anyone is getting married with 100% confidence that they would do the job right. Steve also noticed in my personal vows during the ceremony that I quoted Moulin Rouge, one of my favorite movie/musicals of all time, and played songs from that soundtrack during the dinner, it took me by surprise, but in the best way. It really shows that he is listening and wants to make your day the best it possibly could be. Thanks Steve!

Steve was fabulous. From the beginning he was prompt with his replies, easy to communicate changes with and offered great guidance for components we were uncertain with. HIs photo booth was a great hit and the entire event was better than expected. He even attended our rehearsal to ensure we had set forth enough space for him and to offer his insight on any issues that arose. I strongly recommend his services to anyone and if we ever have an event in the future that needs a DJ, we will definitely call Steve.

Fantastic DJ for Our Wedding
Steve was fantastic! Our wedding was supposed to be September 12, 2020, but due to COVID-19 we had to post-pone it to September 6, 2021. He was very easy to work with and kept in contact throughout the year leading up to our new date. The Photobooth was phenomenal and a huge hit with out wedding guests. We love how we get the digital copies after the wedding to reminisce on special day. He played fantastic songs and even has the option for guests to do some karoke! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

This was hands down one of the best days of my life thus far! Thank you, Steven sir and Steven Jr for making this day so wonderful and memorable. Your services and talent brought this day altogether for our families. You kept the party going and was so interactive with everyone. Your unique style and dedication to entertaining was so thoughtful and magnificently planed. I could not have asked for a better experience if I tired. Awesome Fun For Guests
Steve was so awesome, came prepped with audio equipment just in case we needed it. Such a pleasure working with them with a month before the wedding.
Our guests loved it, it was such a hit. The quality of the prints were amazing, and everyone was able to get their photos.
Highly recommend booking Only The Best, cause they live up to their name.

Hiring a DJ can be very nerve-wracking, but Steven made the whole process easy and stress-free. Steven provided us with online tools to selected our music, and a specific link that we could provide to our family and friends. Our family loved the music, and we were really happy with the overall experience!

Steve @ Only the Best is AMAZING
Only the Best Sound was referred to us by a friend who had used Steve @ OTBS at her own wedding. They only had good things to say, and we were super pumped to start planning out our sound + music for our special day. Steve was so easy to work with and made our special day wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone getting married in Oregon! The photobooth was also a blast! It has been a lot of fun going back through them to see how much fun everyone was having at our wedding!

Best DJ I’ve ever seen
We decided to go with Ryan at Only the Best in Sound after using the photo booth at a wedding show.
Steve and his son Ryan were unbelievably helpful. They helped us craft a timeline for the day of ahead of time. They both attended the rehearsal, and without them it would have been a huge mess. It was our first rehearsal.
On the wedding day Ryan showed up early got everything set up and made sure we were as stress free as possible. Everything with our ceremony went perfect, but ran early, Ryan easily adjusted and helped organize the reception for
The earlier timeline. He was able to be a great DJ and run the photo booth without issues. I recommend anyone looking for a DJ to hire them

My husband and I aren't the best at picking music. We wanted to make sure everyone ended up on the dancefloor. Steve did an awesome job at keeping our crowd engaged and DANCING! Steve met with us for a little meeting to go over music. We felt comfortable knowing we hired someone experienced and personable. Steve did an audio edit for my father/daughter dance with my dad. My dad absolutely loved it! Steve also provided the most beautiful lighting for our reception space. I HIGHLY recommend Only The Best Sound. Our photobooth was also a HUGE hit.

No Regrets!
I had no idea how I would pick a DJ for my wedding. I don't listen to a lot of music and don't know how to organize a play list that would keep people excited to be there. Just speaking to Steve on the phone I knew Only The Best Sound was the right choice. He made be feel confident in his experience and he offered a few additional things I really wanted like a photo booth and "jukebox" style where guests could help you build your playlist with suggestions. I was ready to party and dance (I am not a dancer) but he made me excited to celebrate my big day! When we met in person for a quick meeting he assured my husband as well, that this was the best choice. I was lucky enough to have my wedding during the COVID limitations in 2020. Unfortunately for us our venue did not allow us to dance inside, we had to move everyone outside and so we decided to only do our special dances (1st dance, father daughter..etc). I tell you what I didn't miss the dancing at all the way Steve moved the groove through the night the party vibe was still there. I appreciate all his input...I recommend taking his advice on timeline! This is the MUST have vendor for your event! :)

Best decision I made was hiring them!
Steve and Ryan from Only the Best Sound were absolutely wonderful! They made the entire process so easy! Right from the beginning it was obvious that they are professionals and love being DJ's. We did not have a wedding planner, and I was very stressed about making the timeline, and flow of reception. Steve made it easy, from our first phone call he helped create the timeline, had extremely helpful suggestions on order of events and even recommended some special personal touches during the reception. Ryan met with us the day before to finalize everything which gave us nice piece of mind. At the actual wedding, Ryan was absolutely fantastic. He was constantly checking in with me, adjusting the timeline as necessary (gave us extra time to socialize!) and basically made it flow so smooth that I didn't have to think about anything but enjoying. The must for dancing was so fun, and he did a great job of getting everyone dancing by mixing music (had a mix of younger and older generations). I had multiple people talk about how amazing the music and DJ after. Someone even asked if Ryan was also a day of coordinator, he was that attentive, helpful and amazing. They are so worth their price!!! Save yourself the stress and just use them! Also their photo booth was a huge hit, kept people entertained the entire night and provided awesome photos for us after.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Steven and his company!
2020 has been a crazy year for us all. Steven handled our date changes, three venue changes, multiple guest count changes and several different timelines with grace and enthusiasm. He even offered to help us find a new venue when the Oregon wildfires forced us to cancel two different venues. He is a wonderful person and is very reliable and professional.
Not only is he professional, he is very personal. He created a slideshow of our photos that was beautifully done and that we are forever thankful for. The photo booth was a blast and our guests loved it !
From the beginning of cocktail hour to the end of the night, everything was seamless and was exactly how we pictured it to be.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, my husband and I ended up having a smaller wedding with a guest count of 20. We were initially afraid that our guests wouldn’t dance because it was such an intimate wedding. Steven kept the party going all the way until the last song and our guests had such a wonderful time, dancing until the very end.
If we ever decide to throw a bigger party in the future, Steven will definitely be our guy! Thank you so much for such a wonderful and memorable night!

Steve was such a caring and helpful person. He would always check in on us and alway kept in touch. He was very easy going. He helped make my wedding dream come true and more. I loved the special features he offered and our family did too. The photobooth was a hit for everyone!
