Top Notch - A Winning Team

These photographers really really know their game. From the day I first met Dylan, I was totally captivated by the attention to detail in the photos and the way he explained the methods he and Robyn use to capture those moments. There was an obvious passion I had not encountered with any of the other photographers I met with. The passion drives through the entire client experience. Our initial meeting was comfortable, but professional, and Dylan and Robyn didn't bat an eye when I approached them with my ideas. When it came time for our engagement photos, our football and beer themed day came through bright and clear, even in a location where Dylan and Robyn hadn't previously used. With a quick scene size-up, they were able to navigate the space with such ease and the photos made for a tough selection for our Save the Dates. We had SO many high-quality, perfect images. Then heading into the wedding, our pre-event meeting was awesome. Two weeks before the big day, I was clearly a crazed/stressed out bride, and their "thinking out loud" put me at ease. I knew we were going to be in great hands. When our wedding day arrived, Dylan and Robyn brought their A-game in full force. Dividing and conquering, they made sure that all the big and small moments were captured, again, in new surroundings. Our photos are fun, beautiful, and the compliments are abounding. Even during the wedding, our guests noted Dylan and Robyn's attention to detail throughout - whether a posed shot or candid, everything was done with care and deliberation. I have ZERO regrets about working with Dylan and Robyn and would recommend them one hundred times over.

Wedding photographer

Incredible photographers and people. Not only do they do a great job with creating awesome shots they are really easy and fun to work with. The engagement photo shoot was so much fun, and they added to the fun of the wedding day. We could not be happier with the photos from our wedding.

Amazing Photos

Robyn & Dylan were wonderful to work with and their beautiful photographs speak for themselves. They have a gift and captured beautiful moments throughout our wedding day - not just between us but between our family & friends. They were blast and had some great ideas for staged photos. I would definitely recommend them.

Dylan and Robyn were the absolute best. They were professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, and very comfortable to work with. They were so kind and We felt ease the whole day with them!! Dylan & Robyn were the first photographers that we spoke with at the Pearl Street bridal show in early 2017 and after that, no one else even came close to them. We left the show raving about their beautiful albums, the amazing moments they caught on film & we loved that they are a husband and wife team of photographers. We set up an appointment to meet with them & immediately knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding. Meeting with Dylan & Robyn is like hanging out with old friends; they are down to earth, easy to talk to and very genuine about their passion for photography. We had our engagement photo session & it was the perfect opportunity to get to know each other more. Both of us were super nervous as we had never had a photo session before but they made us feel comfortable, relaxed and we were able to just be ourselves. Before we knew it, it was our wedding day and I cannot say this more sincerely---I am eternally grateful that we chose Dylan & Robyn. They are so much more than amazingly talented and creative photographers - they are your friends. I could not have been in better hands that day when there was a slight wardrobe issue, some frazzled nerves due to family drama...they were my heroes. Dylan & Robyn captured the most wonderful day of our lives ... from each of us getting ready, to the moment we became husband & wife to dancing the night away at the reception. Each time I look at our wedding photos, I relive the moment that is captured and it is priceless. Neither of us wanted all of our photos to be posed, we wanted candid moments, photos that captured the emotion of the moment, fun photos, photos we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Onion Studio exceeded our expectations in every possible way & I look forward to having them capture more moments of our life together in the near future. From the bottom of my heart---you two are the best out there & I can't imagine trusting our special day to anyone else! THANK YOU!!

We hired onion studio as our wedding photographer. So far we've had our engagement session with the dynamic duo and are looking forward to our wedding day photos. The husband/wife team are awesome to work with.

We have used Dylan and Robyn for our engagement photos, our wedding photos and pictures on the beach after the wedding. The pictures are absolutely beautiful. They make you so comfortable and really listen to what you want. I also did boudoir with Robyn at bubbles and berries and my husband loved it. They are so much fun and you always know who will be there. I know we will work with them again. I highly reccommend.

I cannot say enough about our experience working with Onion Studio. Everything from communication, planning our engagement session, to preparing for the wedding was flawless. Our pictures for our engagement session and with our wedding party were more than what we could have dreamed of. Dylan and Robyn took the time to get to know us as a couple, and really delivered. I received phone calls weeks after the wedding from our guests who stated that they've never witnessed wedding photographers working so hard. They were completely "out of the way," yet captured every important moment on our special day.
My sister booked her wedding with Onion Studio after working with them all day the day of my wedding, and then seeing the quality product they provided me afterwards. I can never thank them enough.

We met Dylan at a bridal show. He was a breath of fresh air after meeting a lot of very pushy photographers who wanted us to sign up for their services before we even had a chance to talk to them. Dylan and Robyn were very down to earth and easy to work with during our engagement photos. My fiancee and I had a few ideas but we were nervous at first. Dylan and Robyn helped put us at ease. It made taking pictures on our wedding day much easier. They were both very attentive and our pictures came out amazing. We got them back quickly and everyone has raved about how amazing the pictures are. I am so glad we went with them and I would definitely recommend them for anyone who is looking for pictures outside of the "cookie cutter" arena.

When trying to choose a wedding photographer, we went to bridal shows, googled, used wedding wire, and looked to friends and family for recommendations. With such a large pool to pick from, it was not an easy decision. We narrowed our list to half a dozen photographers, but even before we met it was Onion’s work that really stood out. We chose Robyn and Dylan not only because we loved their work, we chose them because of how professional and passionate they were about their work. Simply put, the decision was based on them as much as their finished product. We were very upfront that we were not photogenic and they strongly dismissed that notion with confidence. Once we got our engagement pictures back, Robyn and Dylan’s assurances were true. We loved the experience of the shoot as much as we loved the pictures. They captured many photos from our pinterest wedding board and more. We started off the evening stiff and uncomfortable (did I mention we’re not photogenic) and by the end of the night we had a level of confidence and comfortability that can be attributed to Robyn and Dylan’s personalities and creativity. The time spent getting comfortable with them during the engagement shoot is what made our wedding day pictures so easy. You develop chemistry with them in a way that they know what you want in your pictures and you know what they want you to do to capture that moment. As for the reception, their photo journalistic technique allowed them to capture the story of the whole night. You couldn’t even notice them even though they were everywhere, capturing every moment. You will not find a more talented and passionate duo in this city. We can’t wait to hire them again in the future.

Dylan & Robyn did an amazing job for our engagement pictures, as well as at our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better duo for our photographers. I literally cannot say enough GREAT things about Robyn & Dylan. From day 1 they have assisted me in helping with choosing other vendors and making sure they understood what my now husband and I were like as a couple. They made sure to know what we liked and were looking for for our special day. An on the day of it was like having 2 more friends running around helping us out. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed and made sure Joe and I did not see each other before our first look. I have only seen a preview of the finished pictures and amazing is not a good enough word. I literally cannot wait to see the rest of the images! I would recommend Onion Studios to EVERYONE!

Robyn and Dylan were nice, professional, and so darn creative. We were so pleased with all of our pictures, and they thought of ideas I never could have dreamed of. They may cost a bit more than other photographers, but you get two of them, so we were able to have one with me getting ready and one with my husband. Our engagement session was included as well. I would recommend them because they are trustworthy and they are the most creative!

What a wonderful team to work with! They were responsive to our ideas, communicated efficiently, and brought creative touches to our day. Onion studio also designed personal table cards for us which turned out beautifully! Not only did all of our guests enjoy these photographer's personalities, but they were also unobtrusive while capturing our day. I would highly recommend these photographers for ANY event and also recommend them for their graphic design!

We selected Onion Studios after meeting with a couple of alternative photography options. From the beginning, Dylan and Robyn made it easy. We really enjoyed the Skype conversation to learn about their strategy and philosophy around shooting weddings, and their willingness to get to know us and understand what vision we had for our wedding. Throughout the day, from the church to the reception, they were guiding us through the pictures that we wanted, helped to gather family members, and really helped out by bringing extra umbrellas (it poured all day). Despite the rain, we still were able to capture amazing images after the church because they knew the best locations to shoot the bridal party in, and we have lasting memories, thanks to them. At the reception, they were unobtrusive and were able to capture amazingly candid moments amongst the guests and members of the bridal party. We couldn't have been happier with our choice in Onion Studios.

Choosing Onion Studios as our photographers was the best decision for my husband's and my wedding. They worked extremely well together and provided a sense of peace and calm on a rather hectic day. Dylan and Robyn work very well with people and have a way to fit-in like family (while remaining extremely professional). They were patient and understanding when scheduled events did not go as scheduled. I really appreciated that Dylan and Robyn would periodically check- in with my husband and I throughout the night to see if we needed or wanted anything additional. They also talked us through the cake-cutting process (seeing how we did not know what to do) while still capturing the moments. Dylan and Robyn have an absolute passion for their work and it shows through their ability to capture an image, a moment in time, and they make it absolutely magical. :-)

After attending a relatives wedding recently, I was able to reflect on how great it was to have Dylan and Robyn shoot our wedding. They take the extra time to get to know you and your immediately family that will be participating with you on the wedding day.
The relatives wedding I attended recently had a professional photographer, but professionalism is a word that lacks a descriptive nature of the actual caliber of person you will be receiving. Their photographer instead of addressing family members by name, grunted while pointing at relatives inquiring to which member of the family they were again?.. And when it came to trying to photograph children the stress was transferred from the photographer to the rest of the family.
Any stress we incurred was not due to Robyn & Dylan. We actually had a transportation issue with the bus being late to shuttle us and the wedding party; luckily our photographers had a solution. They took my new wife and I in their personal vehicle to some spots they had scouted while driving the day before. And the photos they took during this 'unfortunate time,’ became some of our most favorite and memorable from the big day.
Their enthusiasm and attitude make you feel absolutely comfortable; as if they were your friends who you hired for the 'big day'. I have however been to many weddings where family friends and relatives were the main photographer, which never works out well. Family friends will always be half guest and half photographers; dancing and celebrating when a lot of those great photo moments are happening with their camera on the table.
Dylan and Robyn delivered photos that were absolutely beautiful, and caught us in moments that we will now never forget. But for us the most important thing was how much they contributed to us on our wedding day. We will never forget what they did for us.
We can't say enough about Dylan & Robyn, and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Dylan and Robyn of Onion Studio were absolutely amazing and we are so glad that we chose them to be our wedding photographers. They were easy to work with, made us feel comfortable, and were incredibly accommodating. We had fun with them, and our photos are simply stunning! When we did our engagement session it was literally 10 degrees outside with feet of snow of the ground, and Dylan was able to make us relax and forget about the cold and we had a great time! We were planning our wedding from out of town and almost all of our communications happened via email and we felt confident that we had made the right choice in photographers early on before we had even met in person. For our wedding, Dylan and Robyn were incredible. It rained off and on during the day and they were able to gauge the timing of the sprinkles and get in some outdoor photos in a few locations and we (and our friends and family) definitely had fun with it! They put us at ease and allowed us to fully enjoy our day, were patient in capturing the shots that we specifically requested, and helped keep us on schedule for the important parts of the day without us ever feeling rushed by them. The photos they took are absolutely incredible, and we cannot say enough how amazing they are. They were able to capture the joy of our wedding day and we will be enjoying the pictures for years to come. So many of our friends and family have complimented the wonderful quality and artistic skill of our photos. We could not be happier with our experience with Onion Studio, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

Dylan and Robyn were simply amazing, they were professional, reliable, punctual, easy and fun to work with and such a great value for the amazing pictures taken by the couple. The photos taken were absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny! Robyn also did boudoir pictures for me which I gave to my new husband as a surprise gift before the wedding. Her and the staff made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. When we decide to start a family, Robyn and Dylan will be the photographers we call to do our baby/maternity photos as well! Dylan and Robyn are a great team. They take all suggestions and implement them during your big day.

Our photos are absolutely stunning. We had a hard time even deciding which ones to put into our wedding album, which is a nice problem to have.

They capture all of the important details, "the formal stuff", and most importantly - the mood.

We are incredibly happy that we had them for our wedding. We've also used them for family photos which were also incredible.

Dylan and Robyn of Onion Studios are two of the most committed and passionate people I've met. They are dedicated to their work, yet aren't a couple of stiffs just trying to get the job done. From our first consultation, my husband and I knew they were the photographers to go with - we just vibed so well with them. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the cameras. They are open to your suggestions of what pictures you'd like, but also aren't afraid to give you a little direction in order to get the best pictures possible. As a husband and wife team, you get the best of both worlds - a male and female perspective. Before the ceremony, they break up so that both the bride and the groom get pictures beforehand, and there's no rushing through things. They work very well alone, and are also an amazing team during the ceremony and beyond. We trusted them with our wedding photos because we knew from viewing their work that they are professional, creative, and meticulous. They offer a wide variety of products as well - for example we ordered our guest book from them (made using photos from our engagement shoot). It was a beautifully done book, and the quality was amazing. I was even more impressed when they showed up to the wedding venue with the book, and pens for guests to sign it! Such a little detail, but I can't tell you how much we appreciated it. They are wonderful people, and they do a great job. I would very highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer, for weddings or anything else.

The Onion Studio Photographers, Dylan and Robyn, added an extraordinary dimension to our wedding! On top of their amazing level of creativity, they were professional, easy to work with, and great with our other guests. I could not have imagined better pictures than what i received. The amount of pictures we have to choose from and the unique shots and camera angles is truly amazing. From the very first meeting with Dylan in his studio, I knew we had made the right choice. Dylan, Robyn & Joel are so friendly and easy going. They immediately put us at ease. The engagement shoot was really fun, made us waaay less nervous about being in front of the camera & was great practice for our wedding day. Everyone was so impressed with Dylan and Robyn on the big day. They gave really good direction to get everyone posed so the pics would turn out well. They also did a great job of being there to capture every little moment without getting in anyone's face or blocking anyone's view. That's really important. As my cousin said, Dylan was everywhere, but hardly noticeable. We just looked over all of our pictures from the wedding and we could not be happier. We will treasure these pictures for the rest of our lives. What a gift. We're so happy.

It's not possible to say all the positive things there are to say about Onion Studios. As someone who is not usually comfortable with my photo being taken, I found this to be one of my most favorite aspects of our wedding. Dylan and Robyn made every step of the photos, from engagement pictures to "getting ready photos" to the formal bridal and bridal party pictures, very comfortable. Their creativity and eye for photography is overwhelming. It was like having 2 additional good friends at our wedding.
We also had Joel who came and worked as videographer. Being VERY uncomfortable with video cameras, I could not believe how at ease I was. He was STEALTH and I hardly knew he was there! I completely forgot that he was taping anything. The 3 of them worked together like a well oiled machine to get some beautiful shots. Outstanding!
For the quantity and quality of their service, their price is beyond reasonable. My husband and I will absolutely use Dylan and Robyn at Onion Studios again for future photography.

Wow!!!! You CAN"T go wrong with Dylan & Robyn, I can't tell you how many people commented on how amazing and professional and all around fantastic they were!!!! The photo guest book was a HUGE hit and so many people have asked us for their contact info. We can't thank them enough for being there to capture one of life's most fantastic memories!!! We will certainly call on Onion for ALL of the moments that need to be captured...these two really are the best!!!! The day goes by so quickly I didn't even notice all the shots they were getting; things I forgot to mention I wanted; Dylan had already covered it! Every person I have seen after the wedding has brought up the photographers and commented on how amazing they were. Dylan was an AMAZING choice for our wedding photographer. He is incredibly talented and has a fabulous vision for photography. Dylan and his team were amazing. So accommodating - I think they had to bandage my foot, brave downpours, and kayak into the middle of a lake to get some of our shots - but they did it! And their creative eyes and brilliant shots made for some truly stunning photographs. I feel like, not only was our wedding amazing, but the memories of it will be every bit as good because of the wonderful work they did. Dylan & Robyn really went above and beyond our expectations. They were fun, relaxed & professional, got some excellent shots. I spent all day emailing local photographers for price quotes. Dylan was one of the only ones that got back to me right away with all of the information that I requested. We spoke on the phone shortly after and I booked him! He was very reasonable and professional. On the big day he came early, alleviating some of our stress, and spent some time getting to know us and what we were looking for photo wise. He did a FANTASTIC job!!! We are EXTREMELY happy with all of the photos we received!!!

I recommend Onion Studio to anyone who wants quaility pictures and a friendly, professional photographer.

I could not be happier with my experience with Onion Studio. The photographers were friendly, fun, professional and helpful - even to the extent of helping out with last minute, non-photography issues that came up right before the wedding! We were urged to stay and brave a cold day for just a little bit longer to get some beautiful shots, and I'm so glad we did. The photos are absolutely gorgeous, and they will long outlast any memory of the cold! The engagement session allowed them to figure out what angles and lighting were most flattering to us and make the most out of them on the big day. Also, I'm pleased to know that every photo will be stored by Onion Studio so that if anything were to happen to my copies, I could always have them replaced.

In short, I could not have asked for better and would highly recommend this studio to other brides.

Dylan and Robyn were both phenomenal throughout the entire day. Whether dealing with grandparents or infants, they were always professional and lighthearted. Their work draws a fine line between contemporary and traditional, and they also allow you to specify your preferences in this matter. We love our wedding photos, and our photographers Dylan & Robyn. They did such an amazing job and were a lot of fun to work with. The morning getting ready was kind of rushed, and we lost track of time. After I got dressed there wasn't much time to take pictures at home, I wish I had more taken with my parents before leaving for the ceremony. Also they are great about responding to emails, phone calls, and getting you your pictures within the time frame stated.
