One of my favorite things about One Happy Flower Shop was that Carrie had a ton of candles and holders available to rent for my centerpieces. She also did a great job working with decorations that I purchased as well. She was able to come decorate the day of the wedding so everything was fresh and perfect. She even came back after the reception to pick up the items that I rented. She was very timely with this as well. But most importantly the quality of her work was great. Everything turned out beautiful! In my opinion everything was very reasonably priced as well. I would recommend Carrie, and One Happy Flower Shop to anyone!

Beautiful wedding florals!
Our floral centerpieces were included with our package at the Embassy Suites. It was an easy decision to also use Carrie for the rest of our florals. She accommodated my many requests and changes, including when I asked if she could create special centerpieces to fit inside of my gold candelabras. My jaw dropped when I saw the candelabras with the centerpieces inside. Carrie exceeded my expectations! They turned out so beautiful. As did all of the other floral arrangements she made for us. She sent me a sneak peek of my bouquet the day before, which was so thoughtful! We could not be happier with our wedding florals and highly recommend Carrie! She does beautiful work!

Exceptional floral arrangements, outstanding service all-around! Carrie Powell from One Happy Flower provided us with the perfect accents for our wedding day. Bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, corsages, flowers at the ceremony, flowers for the cake, the works... and all of it perfection! I will probably use more words with this review than we needed to use for Carrie to understand and capture our vision. Carrie was so great to work with and made the process of picking out flowers for my wedding fun and easy. She really listened to my preferences and created the most beautiful bouquets for my wedding. We met at her flower shop to go over all the details of the wedding and I was still able to make changes for a little bit before the flowers were ordered. Could not be happier! I can't recommend Carrie enough! She listened to my vision for our wedding (which was probably all over the place since I don't know very much about flowers!) and absolutely knocked it out of the park!! Beautiful florals perfect for our spring wedding
We loved working with Carrie!
We gave her our colors, overall theme, and some flowers we liked/didn’t like… and she nailed it! We received so many compliments on our flowers.
We went with Carrie after being given 3 options through our venue (DoubleTree), interviewing each vendor, and deciding that Carrie was the right fit for us. In addition to the guest table centerpieces (covered by the venue), we also added flowers for an arch, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, ceremony chair flowers, and our head table centerpiece, mother’s flowers, boutonnières, and flower girl petals. We had a small crisis on the day-of with the arch leaning too far forward, possibly not supporting the florals, and she handled it so smoothly with my husband and the groomsmen.
If you want beautiful, thoughtful florals for our wedding day, go through Carrie / OHFS!

Small Request, Delivered Big
Carrie from One Happy Flower Shop was an absolute gem of a person to work with. While what we asked from her was minimalist, she delivered in a big way. Many other florists turned us down since we were only interested in a few items. Carrie created a beautiful bridal bouquet, matching groom boutonniere, and memorial bouquet for our late grandmother. She listened to all our input and exceeded expectations. We couldn’t be happier going with Carrie!

Carrie was incredible to work with! We had to postpone our wedding and switch venues because of COVID. She was there to work with us through every change and support our wedding. You will not be disappointed if you go with Carrie Anne Powell Floral Designs. My husband and I planned our Pittsburgh wedding from Washington State and Carrie was amazing to work with. Very responsive to emails and phone calls. We had hydrangeas, blue delphiniums, baby's breath, and white roses for our different arrangements. We got so many comments from our guests about the floral arrangements and they were literally perfect! I would recommend Carrie 11/10! You will not be disappointed!

Carrie was absolutely fantastic from the planning stages to the execution. I live across the country so I was only able to send pictures of what I was thinking and she made all of our arrangements even more beautiful than I could ever imagine. Carrie was quick to respond to all communication and was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and everyone raved about how lovely they were. Our bouquets and boutonnieres were also phenomenal and helped make our wedding day perfect.

We found Carrie through a recommendation from our venue, and I am SO glad that we did! She was so friendly and helpful during our consultation, and responsive to any questions I had throughout the planning process. Most importantly, the flowers were absolutely beautiful! Truly better than I could have ever imagined. Flowers are one of my favorite parts of weddings, so I was devastated when several local florists quoted me outrageous minimums to even consider booking our wedding. Cue Carrie Anne! From the second I met her I knew she'd be wonderful to work with. She was flexible and really tried to understand my vision for my wedding day while working with my budget. She even managed to incorporate some pricier flowers that I mentioned loving. All of Carrie Anne's work exceeded my expectations and didn't leave me in debt over a floral bill. I would highly recommend Carrie Ann Powell as your florist! I first met her at a bridal show in Pittsburgh, and I immediately connected with her. She is very warm, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I felt that she truly understood my vision and worked hard to make it happen! We met Carrie Ann at a bridal show and contacted her for a meeting. She was very organized with a questionnaire sheet and really got an idea of what we were looking for in our floral designs. After the meeting, she sent us more photos and a detailed document reviewing what we had discussed. Any changes we had throughout the wedding planning process were promptly made. She had great ideas and suggestions for us. Everyone complimented us on our reception centerpieces! All the flowers were beautiful and coordinated with our color scheme perfectly.

Carrie was awesome! The flowers were absolutely stunning and even better than I had hoped for! I had a smaller wedding and she was able to work within my budget. I gave her a specific color palette and a list of flowers that I liked (and didn't like) with some pictures of inspiration bouquets. She made a few other flower suggestions and asked great questions, like do I like greenery, etc. She made suggestions to stay cost effective without compromising beauty. Carrie met with me in person to review the order and stayed very flexible when I had changes to the number of corsages/bouts as well as my reception tables - we went from traditional round tables to one long table for all of our wedding guests to sit at together. The reception flowers were breathtaking and my aunt said it looked like a fairytale! Carrie coordinated drop off with both the church and reception as we had discussed and it was seamless. The flowers lasted a long time as well! We used some of the centerpieces for a family picnic the next day and when we came back from the honeymoon a week later there were still many flowers going strong. I made up a few vases to have around the house and take to work which lasted another week! Carrie is very professional while still being very nice and easy to work with. All emails and phone calls were returned promptly and she covered all of the bases to make sure I had everything that I could possibly need even down to a towel to dry off my bouquet stems before I walked down the aisle. She also asked if I needed other things like cake flowers, ceremony decorations, etc. without being pushy. You can tell she just wants to make sure she can help to make everything exactly as you envision it. I truly believe that Carrie went above and beyond and highly recommend her!

The week of the wedding I recieved a pleasant email stating that I could have all the centerpieces (flowers and vases/lanterns) that she made. I was able to give them away to our guests and family. Words can not even explain how thankful I am that I found Carrie. So literally weeks before my wedding (I'm talking like 2-3 weeks) my original florist pretty much screwed me over and was literally impossible to work with. Long story short it was weeks before my wedding and I could not find a single florist that was either available, had what I wanted, or would even return my calls! That was until I found Carrie Powell! We met at the local panera almost immediately after talking and she got my vision of what I wanted. And although she was going away on a trip right after our meeting she still found time to order my flowers and get everything I wanted. Fast forward to my wedding day. My flowers and arrangements were OUTSTANDING!!!! Literally everything I had ever dreamed of! Everything was exactly what I had in mind. She made my vision come to life and look even better than I imagined. Carrie went above and beyond to accomadate and I am sooo thankful for her! I would recommend her to anybody looking for an exceptional florist! I knew exactly what I wanted with my flowers on my wedding day and she made sure with literally no time to spare that I got exactly what I dreamt of. The ceremony and the reception looked stunning thanks to her. I'm so happy with how everything turned out Carrie is the best! Not to mention how sweet and kind she is too! Carrie did an amazing job with my flowers. They were beautiful and exactly as I expected. She did flowers for my bouquet, my bridesmaids, 2 vases for my altar, boutonnieres, MOG corsage, 11 dinner tables, and flowers for my cake. She was easy to work with and responsive. She was able to add an additional 2 dinner table vases at the last minute for me (about a week prior to the wedding). I received tons of compliments. Everything was exactly as I imagined!

All I can say is WOW - My guests and I were all BLOWN AWAY by the beautiful flowers at my wedding and reception! We had a short outdoor ceremony overlooking rolling hills and the reception in an old barn...flowers were the only decorations I wanted...specifically loads of white hydrangeas, with some light green hydrangeas, and some white roses and other mixed white flowers. I was going for fresh and lush.
When I met with Carrie she asked the right questions and had great suggestions that were exactly in line with my vision. I wanted specific galvanized buckets for the centerpieces - she took care of ordering the buckets & getting liners. I gave her specific ribbon that I used for the invitations - those she wrapped the bridesmaid bouquets with. I also gave her some wide strips of light sage green burlap (matches the table runners) - that she wrapped behind the floral spray on our ceremony arch. I am a perfectionist and a DIYer (that couldn't do it all on my big day) - Carrie took the wheel and delivered over, above and beyond my expectations.
Hydrangeas are notoriously finicky and wilt easily...but not mine! Even in the warm, humid June summer the hydrangeas remained perky and perfect all night. All of the flowers were perfect, just absolutely perfect. Carrie will be one of the best decisions you make, especially if flowers are your only decoration :)

Carrie was AMAZING! I kind of had a last minute wedding - I'm a procrastinator anyways, so I found this worked perfectly for my style :-). I emailed almost all of the florists that came up on Wedding Wire to learn that either they were already booked for the day, which is obviously understandable, or that my budget didn't meet their minimum to work with me (ahh, sorry...). I considered just DIY-ing the décor myself the morning of the wedding and then realized how crazy that would be on time. THANK GOD I heard back from Carrie the next day, pleasantly expressing that she'd love to help out, and I also believe she already had an event that day, too. She did all of the set up of the décor, really - from the DIY stuff that I made, to the flowers. The wedding was very small and intimate, and she added such romance with the candles and flowers. Carrie did an amazing job creating beautiful bouquets and centerpieces for my wedding. I met with Carrie early on in the planning process and we went over our likes and dislikes. She suggested I created a pinterest page and tag her in it with ideas for the centerpieces, ceremony décor, etc. She was extremely accommodations to any changes I made throughout the months leading up to my wedding. When I walked up to the venue ( we had an outdoor farm wedding with ceremony and reception in the same location) I could not have been happier with her creativity. When planning our big day, I knew I didn't want to use a chain florist that pretty much everyone uses. Through word of mouth, I found Carrie. Carrie and I met to discuss ideas on what I wanted our wedding flowers to look like and she had so much excitement and tons of ideas. We communicated often to ensure she had everything she needed. She was beyond flexible with me and even met me somewhere out of her way to pick up our vases for the big day. The morning of the wedding, Carrie dropped the bouquets off to me and I was in awe with just how beautiful they turned out. She completely met my expectations and then some! She did a wonderful job with peonies, hydrangeas, ranuculus, roses, and greenery. We still have some of the peonies 2 weeks later! It happened to be 90 degrees on our wedding day and Carrie made sure the flowers stood up to the heat even though our venue didn't have air conditioning! On top of her talent she is a really nice person who is very flexible with meetings and changes! Highly recommend!

We are back now from my honeymoon. We had an amazing time and quite the beautiful day for our wedding. Our flowers are beyond anything I could've dreamed up! You did a fabulous job. I want to thank you so much for the beautiful bouquets for my daughter and her bridesmaids, the mothers’ wrist corsages, the men’s boutonnieres and the lovely centerpieces for my daughter's wedding. We were so thrilled with all of them. The centerpieces could not have been more beautiful! Everyone commented on them, and we were able to distribute the flowers to family and friends at the end of the evening and they were very happy to have them. I myself have three vases full at home and I can look at them and reminisce about the wedding. We were so happy that you were one of the vendors recommended by the hotel. If we were to have hand picked every flower, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the combination that you picked. Instead, we just gave you ideas and they were perfect – the particular flowers (especially the hydrangeas), the colors, the combinations, the size, everything. Today I am wearing my pearl bracelet, an added bonus from my corsage. I thought that was a lovely idea for a wrist corsage. I never saw that before.

Everyone complimented my flowers and my bridesmaids were floored how beautiful they were. My friends parents own a nursery and she said she never seen such beautiful flowers before. Carrie Ann made beautiful bouquets and centerpieces with little direction from me but made exactly what I had pictured in my head. Carrie Ann made half of my centerpieces and two large altar decorations and they were just amazing. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique the flowers looked. From our consult through to the day of my wedding, Carrie was the picture of knowledge, professionalism, flexibility, and kindness with a generous helping of artistic vision!! :)
I met with a total of five florists on the day that I consulted with Carrie. I shared my ideas, and Carrie was able to make wonderful suggestions that would match the theme of my wedding, improve the look of the arrangements, and help keep me within budget She was the only florist to actually give me a price estimate for each floral order (bridesmaids bouquets, bridal bouquet, aisle runner, centerpieces, etc). I walked away from that meeting knowing the price of each component, which was something the other florists did not offer.
During the months of planning my wedding long-distance, Carrie was very receptive to my e-mails that often included minor modifications to the original plan. She would always respond in a timely manner and ALWAYS sent along a new itemized price list that would show how my changes affected the pricing.
On the day of the wedding, Carrie was willing to make an extra stop at my parents' home to drop off the bridesmaids and bridal bouquet. When I arrived at the church, she had placed the flowers perfectly and they look gorgeous! The same was true of the flowers at the reception. Everything looked better than I could have imagined.
I'm so very glad that I chose to work with Carrie Powell. Her artistic gift and desire to incorporate the bride's vision make her the obvious choice! :)

The first thing I heard when I got to our wedding reception was how beautiful the centerpieces were. Working with Carrie Powell was easy. Awesome service and Carrie did better than I could of imagined. I was very happy and my guests commented on how nice the arrangements looked. The flowers stayed fresh for days after the wedding too!

Carrie was FABULOUS all around! Carrie was very flexible and patient with me, I had no idea what I wanted and she worked with me to decide on what would look best for my boquet, my bridesmaids boquets and for decor. I was totally in awe when I got to the church and saw the arrangements she had done. They colors and flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I could not have asked for anything more! They were above and beyond what I ever imagined! I can't tell you how many compliments I received on how beautiful my flowers were! Also, her prices were very reasonable and I can say this since I had met with 4 other florists.

Carrie, WOW!!! I wanted to have "Bella's Birthday" from the movie new moon as cheesy as that sounds and you did it! I told Carrie that as an example to show her my vision of how I wanted candles and flowers all around us. Planning over 1,000 miles away, she met with us over christmas during the holiday season and made time for us. She even sent a thank you card to us saying thank you for allowing us to have her as our florist. I am the one who is thankful, she made our ceremony and reception into the most amazing place ever. She took my vision and made it come to life. I did not want anything over the top I just wanted romatic and calming, with sexy added to it. She did that, everything we wanted she made happen nothing and I mean NOTHING was wrong! PERFECT!! Thank you Carrie for making our ceremony and reception look like heaven on earth. Amazing!!

Carrie did an amazing job with my wedding flowers. I did not have very much of a vision for my wedding day but I knew I wanted succulents that could be replanted after the wedding. When I saw my bouquet I was absolutely floored- it was the most beautiful bouquet that I had ever seen. In addition, she had taken the few points that I mentioned about the reception centerpieces and made it into a beautiful piece of art that completely fit the venue. I found her to be very affordable ( i had a limited budget). I would recommend Carrie to any bride...she made my wedding absolutely beautiful!

What can I say, but Carrie did an AWESOME job!! I'm a pretty laid back person and only gave her a a few directions that I wanted to go with my arrangements. Basically, I left the colors and arrangements up to her and they were absolutley stunning! I had so so so many compliments on the flowers, that I started carrying her card around with to pass out. Thanks Carrie for making my autumn wedding look incredible!!! :o)

Carrie provided fabulous flowers for our wedding - she gave us beautiful flowers exactly as we wanted them, and at a great cost. She was very professional and easy to work with, accomodating any questions/changes that we had. The flowers were remarkably fresh and lasted long beyond the wedding, allowing us to enjoy them after our special day. I absolutely LOVED my flowers for my wedding. When I met with Carrie, I had no idea what I wanted, but only knew that I wanted the flowers to be a certain color. Carrie took the time to show me different flowers in the color that I wanted. She offered me great suggestions and really helped me make a final decision. I could not have been happier. The flowers were STUNNING. So many of the guests at my wedding commented on how beautiful they were. She is very talented. She went above and beyond to make sure that my day was more beautiful!

Carrie is amazing and extremely talented! She did the flowers for my bridal shower and her creations went above and beyond what I expected. My shower had a pink theme, and Carrie's flowers were the final touch that pulled it all together. She is very particular to detail and only delivers perfect arrangments. My wedding was in Virginia Beach, so I was unfortunately not able to book her for my wedding floral arrangements. Had I gotten married in Pittsburgh, I would definitely have booked her! Again, she is amazing and so very talented! You will not regret choosing Carrie....everything was PERFECT!

Carrie was the absolute coolest. We weren't sure what we wanted or how much we wanted to spend, but Carrie took the time to go over everything. She made suggestions and there were so very helpful. A few of her ideas weren't what we wanted, but she was like "OK, then how about this?". She made it fun and when the wedding came, she took care of everything from the church to the reception hall. We did not have to be there; she was on time and very professional. All who saw my pictures commented on how beautiful the flowers were. I wanted to give a personal recommendation because I was very impressed with the friendly service, design and value for my money that I received with this vendor. Carrie was more than happy to meet with me at a time that was convenient for me. I described to her how I imagined my bouquet to look and it was perfect! She was flexible and efficient in delivering my flowers as there was a good distance between the church and reception. Everything turned out lovely and I was very pleased. Carrie was wonderful! I had an idea for my bridesmaids bouquets and she listened to my idea and what she gave me was more than I had imagined. The bouquets were beautiful and different from any I had ever seen at any other wedding. Carrie is professional, creative and so talented. Having been a bride herself, I think she realizes just how important a brides vision is for her special day and she goes above and beyond in providing her services. She even decorated my wedding cake for me and it was gorgeous, without her special touch it would have just been a plain white wedding cake. I highly recommend Carrie Powell Floral Designs.

Meeting with Carrie for the first time to discuss flowers was wonderful. She is extremely personable and is open to any ideas. Her experience shines through as she makes recommendations and suggestions for bouquets and arrangements. She is prompt and quick to respond to calls and emails. Carrie was the only one who responded to a vendor search for flowers on a wedding website and was readily available to meet with me as soon as I called. She drove to meet me that same day, coming close to my job after work, and was very helpful in making flower choices and suggestions. Tired of making so many wedding decisions, I gave her a general idea of what I wanted (and emailed a pic or two I'd liked from other places) and let her use her best judgement. The day of the wedding, I was soooo pleased with what she had done!! The flowers were beautiful and just perfect!! She was very prompt in delivering and gave great quality for what I paid. We used Carrie's services for a wedding and want to thank her for doing such a great job. Carrie is great to work with and very flexible - she met me downtown after work and understands that wedding planning is busy and stressful. I also talked with her about my style and showed her my Pinterest and my vision/expectations of what I was looking for in our floral arrangements for the wedding and she took the time to really listen to me. The flowers came out so pretty and beautifully arranged, and I also noticed all of my suggestions were incorporated into the arrangements. Carrie did a wonderful job with our fall wedding! I had met with her in March to go over the details. Being someone who was out of town, I was a bit stressed out and Carrie really did follow through with all of the aspects of what we wanted. I wanted a nice evening wedding with bright red and ivory flowers and lanterns on each table. It looked incredible! We were so pleased with everything and the pictures with all of these colors turned out gorgeous.

Flowers were not super important to me, and I didn't have much of an idea of what I wanted. Carrie Ann was great in taking my ideas and creating a vision. More importantly, she fit so well into my budget! I was thinking about getting flowers from the grocery store and making my own bouquet, but she was more affordable. AND, she donates the flowers after the wedding to a senior living center, so the flowers weren't just thrown away at the end of the night. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend her to anybody.
If being green is important to you, I'd recommend her as well. She was more than happy to provide in season wildflowers (I had another florist tell me she wouldn't work with wildflowers), and she doesn't have a shop, so she orders only the flowers that she needs. Overall, a great experience with CAP.

Carrie did a WONDERFUL job on the flowers for our wedding! We met twice before the wedding, once at a pre-meeting and once at our tasting, where she brought a mock-up of our centerpieces. My expectations were exceeded when I saw the flowers on our wedding day. The bouquets were gorgeous and full, exactly what we had discussed. I specifically asked for no greenery in the bouquets or centerpieces, and there wasn't any! The alter pieces were beautiful as well. We were so happy with our flowers! Thank you, Carrie!

I don't care for flowers, so centerpieces and bouquets weren't all that important to me. However, I was slightly disappointed with the substitution used in flowers. I had requested to have white anemones in the bouquet, specifically for the black center. There was some substitution with a green center, and didn't give the look I had imagined. But like I said, flowers aren't that important so whatever. However, another weird thing was that I asked for silver hand ties for all the bouquets, and all of them were silver - but mine was a different ribbon that the bridesmaids. I wouldn't have cared, except the bridesmaids ribbons were GLITTER, they were wearing black dresses... do the math :-/ not sure why a glitter ribbon would be used. Overall, the flowers and centerpieces looked nice. Carrie was easy to work with and quick to respond. Just thought those couple of things were meh.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! After meeting Carrie and reading several positive reviews on WeddingWire, I knew that I was going to book her to do our flowers for our wedding, as she seemed very professional and knowledgeable, which is why we were willing to pay her higher prices compared to other florists we spoke with. Unfortunately, she did not even come close to meeting our expectations and we are very disappointed with her service and would not recommend her for something as important as wedding flowers. First, we did not get what we ordered. She had beautiful pictures on her website of round flower displays hanging from shepard hooks that we ordered for our outdoor ceremony, and we did not get them, but instead got a few small arrangements of ugly little flowers on small stands that were hideous and we didn't even use. Next, my bouquet was the same size as all of the bridesmaids, despite my communication with her several times that I wanted a much larger boquet. The flowers in the boquets though were pretty. Finally, we asked for all the boquets to be wrapped in white satin ribbon and they were not, rather they were wrapped in some cheap mesh material. I did email Carrie about not getting what we ordered (and paid for), and she refunded half of the money for those flowers, though I do not feel we were given a good reason for not getting what we ordered. My thoughts are because she had more than one wedding on our day, she probably rushed through putting our order together. Again, very disappointed and would not recommend her for wedding flowers.

The ONLY thing I was disappointed with on our wedding day was our flowers (not that it really got me down or anything because I had the most perfect day...but you know what I mean). My bouquet was ok. I gave a picture of exactly what I wanted and it looked NOTHING like it, but it was still pretty. I was embarrassed by my bridesmaids bouquets. They were VERY small and plain. Again, I had shown a picture of what I was looking for and was let down. I also got two alter pieces that were in memory of our Grandparents that have all passed away. They were in white flower pots and looked cheap. I also had two vases placed at the reception at the escort card table and guest book table...they were awful. There were more greens than actual flowers. I was going to have floral centerpieces but decided to go with candle centerpieces instead because it matched our theme more...I am VERY GRATEFUL that I did! For the amount of money I spent on my flowers I expected a LOT more. Very sad and very disappointing.

Carrie has SO many amazing reviews, and a absolutely stunning portfolio.. this is why we chose to go with her for our wedding flowers. I was wrong in that decision!
I absolutely love dahilia's, so when Carrie agreed to use them in my bouquet *and i thought in my centerpieces as well* i was thrilled! I based a lot of my wedding around the dahlia.
Carrie had sample's made for me from fake flowers, which i thought was great .. we scheduled a time to meet with her at her house. My husband and I drove to her house at the scheduled time (arrived promptly! 30 minute drive) only to find that she was not home, and did not contact us to apologize for another 2 hours (she claimed she was in her backyard, but my husband had walked around the side of her house to see if that was the case and couldn't hear us knocking.. not to mention there were no cars and the house was silent)
I got over it, and she met with us at our house the next day to show us our samples. They were beautiful and i loved them and forgot all about the prior days incident .. My bouquet was ALL ivory roses, burgundy dahlia's, burgundy calla lillies, and we added hypericum berries, barely any leaves at all.. my centerpieces (the ones she showed me) were also dahlia's and calla lillies we made a few minor changes and that was it !!
on my wedding day, i came to find that Carrie had dropped my flowers off early in the morning with my wedding coordinator and didn't bother to stick around at all .. i didn't see her. Even more upsetting (and probably the reason she left in a hurry) was the fact that i had absolutely NO dahlia's. Anywhere. In the dahlia's place were carnations. I hate carnations. Later at the reception i came to find that there were NO dahlia's there either, just lots and lots of carnations. Also, my burgundy calla's from my samples were pure black, and my bouquet of once ALL flowers *like the sample* were FILLED with hideous leaves.
Needless to say i was very, very upset and after the honeymoon i contacted Carrie. (even though she completely changed my order, my fled my wedding before i saw her and never contacted me afterwards to explain-i had to contact her) She claims that since my contract never actually listed the flowers in the centerpieces, she had no idea i wanted dahlia's and calla's in my centerpieces (even though that's what she showed me and i approved at my house) .. then she claimed that her florist was unable to get the dahlia's, so she decided to go with carnations instead because they "were the same color" .. without contacting me AT ALL.
she also was very hesitant to return any money because she claims she "lost money" on the order because even though dahlia's are *much* more expensive than cheap carnations, she had to buy twice as many carnations due to bundling requirements at her florist warehouse .. not sure how that was my problem.
i ended up getting refunded only for my bouquet.
i have NO doubts that carrie can do FABOLOUS work .. i loved my samples .. just be sure you get absolutely EVERYTHING in writing, and put a clause in her contract that says she MUST contact you if she decides to change anything... otherwise you may end up with a nice, unpleasant surprise.
