Zack from OnCue Made Our Wedding Unforgettable!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Zack from OnCue Events for our wedding! From the moment we first spoke with him, he was professional, friendly, and really took the time to understand our music preferences and the vibe we wanted for our big day. Zack was so accommodating, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.

During the wedding, the music was absolutely perfect. He knew exactly when to play the right songs to set the mood, and the dance floor was packed all night! Guests kept telling us how amazing the music was, and we were so happy with how he read the room and kept the energy up. We had a mix of music genres, and he blended them seamlessly, keeping everyone from our grandparents to our college friends dancin'.

Overall, Zack and OnCue Events made our wedding day even more special, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a top-tier DJ. Five stars across the board!

We had OnCue Events perform our wedding on 12/28, and they absolutely crushed it! Our DJ Zach wove together the best playlist for our guests, and everyone crowded the dance floor the entire time. We can’t recommend OnCue enough!!

Zack was the best DJ!!! Everyone loved his skills

We had a Spring wedding and it was such a fantastic day!! As cliché as it sounds it really was the best day ever with our friends and family. And a big part of that was because Zack is the best wedding DJ we've ever seen haha. Every song was hitting, he had the dance floor packed all night!! Flawless transitions between songs... Zack was great to work with and Joey made it so easy for us too which we really appreciated.

Best. DJ. Ever!!!!

Hire this DJ immediately if music matters to you. If you don’t want your reception to feel like a cliche playlist, but instead, an artistic and incredible production of musical mixing for the dance party of your dreams, don’t look any further! It is true artistry. They’ll accommodate all your favorite songs while mixing it all together expertly. We had the BEST BEST experience with them!!!!! 10/10. DJs play a huge role in the entire wedding, from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, so working with a skillful DJ matters a ton. They are responsive, helpful, accomodating, and immensely creative. They bring a professional and warm demeanor to the night, kindness and warmth, and incredible, creative music skill. It was the best dance party of our dreams. Additionally, they handled announcing, playing chosen processional music, bridal aisle-song splicing, and setup/breakdown with seamless execution. They take their work so seriously. I hired them for my wedding after being blown away as a bridesmaid by their artistry and it was one of the best choices of my entire wedding.

10/10 for our Wedding!!

Loved how great Zack was as a DJ! Everyone kept commenting how amazing the song selection was and we are so glad the dance floor was crowded all night!! We learned about OnCue Events through our friend, who highly recommended them for our wedding. Definitely go with them, as the price is fair considering their level of skill and professionalism.

OnCue Events was so awesome!!!

From the beginning, Joey was easy and fun to talk to when it came to booking a DJ. He made it easy to plan out our music for our wedding by sending over a template to fill out. Zack was our DJ and everyone loved him!!! His transitions were really smooth and was so glad he worked in all our must play songs. We didn't want the same classic music you hear all every wedding, so he played some mashups and edits that were impressive. Could not recommend them enough!!

OnCue exceeded our expectations!

After speaking with Joey and Nicole of OnCue Events, we knew this was the vendor we wanted to move forward with for our big day. Both were extremely organized, responsive and listened/valued our wants and needs. We are so happy we went with OnCue events - everything was seamless from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour and reception. Our guests are still raving about how great the whole night was and we attribute a lot of that to our DJ Nicole.

Incredible Wedding thanks to OnCue Events

We had the most amazing night!! Having all our friends and family together dancing the whole night was such a treat and we're thankful that the party didn't stop. So many people came up to me to ask who the DJ was. Joey was so helpful over the phone and via email and when it came time for our wedding day, everything went so smoothly! Amazing!! OnCue Events is just the best!

Joey has been amazing to work with and so professional. When he wasn't available for our postponed date, he recommended Nicole. Y'all, Nicole killed it at the reception! She was open minded and listened to all my ideas beforehand. She kept the party going and I think everyone could have danced all night long. She played music for all generations and the dance floor was never empty. I got so many compliments about how amazing our DJ was. A month later, people are still talking about how much fun they had and I know Nicole is one of the reasons why. You cannot go wrong with OnCue Events!

Best Wedding DJ Ever!!

Me and my wife have known Joey for 7 years and have developed an extremely close bond with him. Our shared love and passion for all types of music has always been at the core of our friendship. I had a tough decision to make; do I have Joey as one of my groomsmen or do we have him as our wedding DJ? The answer was obvious. Let’s have him do both!! Not only did we have the absolute best wedding ever, but Joey truly went above and beyond with this one. Every few songs I would look up at him on the DJ booth and we would both connect with the biggest smiles on our faces knowing we were both having the greatest time. He even came into the crowd during a couple of songs and it was absolutely the highlight of the night!

Overall, Joey has shown a stellar devotion to his craft and brings absolute professionalism with him wherever he goes. He has an uncanny ability to connect with the crowd and set the vibe, whether it be setting the mood for a slow dance or turning the crowd up with the best selection of wedding hits. His EQ is also top notch and will sound crystal clear, whether you’re jumping up and down in front of the booth or hanging out at the bar drinking your 3rd cocktail of the evening.

It’s a no-brainer to hire Joey “Oncue Events” for your wedding. It will be an endless night you will never forget and he will certainly knock it out of the park every time!

The Only Company We Recommend

My wife and I didn't feel like we had a ton of time to spend researching a DJ company with all the other stuff and detail that goes into planning a wedding.

We were so glad that 2 different sources recommended OnCue Events to DJ for us. They absolutely nailed it, their equipment sounded great and there were no audio dropouts, and the music was on POINT. The dance floor was packed the whole time and we are so glad all our friends will remember the night being a blast!! Covid didn't get in our way and the night was perfect.

Beyond expectations!

Every time I think about our wedding back in May, our DJ, Joey, always stands out in the highlight reel! Of all the vendors that we worked with, he was the readiest to maintain consistent and strong communication to ensure that the service he was providing us was exactly what we wanted. Day of, he was punctual and was with it every step of our itinerary. As a DJ, he ABSOLUTELY nails it with awesome remixes, great transitions, and knowing how to keep the energy on the dance floor alive. We were honored to have him as our DJ, and we would recommend him to everyone!

OnCue Events Blew Us Away! So fun!!!

So we found OnCue Events on WeddingWire and we are so glad we did. Joey was so easy to work with. When it came to music, he knew exactly what to play throughout the night. People literally didn't leave the dancefloor! We of course wanted to thank everyone for coming and mingled around, but we didn't want to leave either! He brought uplights too which looked great in the ballroom. And they even changed colors for the dancing portion of the night which was cool. He even helped out our coordinator with timing certain things, because it was my friend and she had never been a coordinator before!

So thankful we went with him!!

Joey was awesome to work with from the beginning. We had quite a few requests and wanted a good bit of nitty gritty control over the playlists and he worked with us on everything. LOVED working with Joey!

We loved working with Joey, from our initial call all the way through our wedding day. I had tons of questions and he answered them all thoroughly (and patiently!) and was a breeze to work with. He showed up early, was set up and ready to go, helped our band with sound equipment, and was flexible enough to jump into DJing during a different part of the wedding than expected, seamlessly finishing up cocktail hour when we had some weather-related delays that caused it to run a bit longer than the amount of time we'd booked our band for. I highly recommend choosing Joey/OnCue if you're looking for a genuine, easygoing, enjoyable to be around, non-cheesy DJ, who is also extremely professional and knows how to make a great party happen! If we were to plan our wedding all over again, we would choose Joey as our DJ every time!

Joey Made Our Wedding So Fun

Wanted to take a minute or so to brag on this DJ. He was professional from start to finish. Also right off the bat, I could tell he loves his job and really cares about the couples he works with.

We had so much fun on the dancefloor and our guests kept raving about the DJ and how they danced all night. Joey knows exactly what to play and when to play it, while also taking requests like a champ. When it came to the formal stuff, he handled everything smoothly. His equipment is top notch too. So yeah, message Joey (OnCue) he will take care of you!

Joey is absolute legend as a Wedding DJ

We had our wedding on Friday, May 24th. Let me tell you, it was a big space and Joey absolutely nailed it. I've been to some weddings for friends and I know that every Wedding DJ is not the same. Some are pretty bad honestly... so I knew we needed to vet the right DJ. Well I'm just glad we did, because I can't think of anything he could have improved on. It was smooth from start to finish, never awkward, Joey was as confident as could be and the dance floor was packed all night. He played all the songs we wanted and took requests the whole time and every transition was smooth. No one wanted to leave! Joey is the man and a complete professional, I'd recommend him to anyone!!

Best Wedding DJ I've Seen!

We got married March 2nd 2019 :) Boy am I glad we went with OnCue Events!!! Joey was incredibly easy to work with, professional, and knew what music to play the whole night. I have already been a bridesmaid at a couple weddings for my friends, and been to weddings as a guest. Joey topped all of those DJ's. The DJ has a lot of responsibility to keep the evening moving. He just knew what to do, knew what to play, had a super clean setup and sound and everyone was dancing the whole night! It blew my mind, so happy we chose him. Book OnCue Events!!

Flawless from Start to Finish

My husband and I got married on 12/29 and we are so glad we found Joey. I personally didn't realize just how much actually goes into making a wedding an amazing and smooth experience from a DJ's perspective. We were thinking about going with a friend of my husband who DJ's, and other "DJ friends" were available in our network, but it obviously requires a seasoned professional. And we heard horror stories from friends and just didn't want to have made a mistake. Joey with OnCue Events made our wedding amazing. He was easy to work with, professional, had a very clean setup and fancy equipment, but most importantly the music was always on spot and the dance floor was full. The whole night. We'll recommend Joey to all our friends!!!

OnCue Events is the man. Everyone and I mean everyone put on their dancing shoes when he has DJing. His set did not get boring or tiresome during the whole night, which is quite the task to accomplish when you need to DJ for so many hours. Remarkable service, would hire again.

Perfect Wedding

From the start, Joey was very helpful in getting everything we wanted for our wedding. It unfortunately rained on our wedding day, but we was able to roll with the punches and make everything work. For the reception, the PA system worked without a flaw, and our dance party was amazing! So much so that the wedding venue gave us extra time for free because everyone was having such a good time.

I didn't see anyone not dancing

This gentleman is what you are looking for, if what you are looking for is someone to sonically sky-rocket your wedding. I would bet that certain people wouldn't be dancing in our wedding, yet they all were. You know what I'm talking about. If a DJ can make these people get up and shake their bodies, then it's mission accomplished. Thank you.

What can I say about OnCue Events, he is brilliant. He was tirelessly transitioning smoothly from one tune to another all night long. Hiring this guy turned out to be such a good decision

Both me and my husband were feeling nervous about the need for a DJ at our wedding. Initially we thought a friend of a friend could help us out but he bailed on us and we had to deal with the burden of finding a new one just DAYS BEFORE the actual event. He played music that went with the energy of the crowd on the dance floor and made it such a fun atmosphere for all ages. People are still talking about how fun our wedding was because of him!! Danced the Night Away!!!

Working with Joey at OnCue Events was an amazing experience! He was very professional and so easy to work with. He was responsible for both music and sound at the ceremony and the reception. The sound of the officiant at the ceremony and toasts at dinner couldn’t have been better, our guests were able to hear everything. The music was fantastic, our guests raved about how much fun they had on the dance floor! I highly recommend Joey for any event. He was outstanding!!!

Best Wedding We Could Have Hoped For

All the guests had an amazing time. There is literally nothing I can think of that would have made the wedding more enjoyable. Joey is a breeze to work with. We had some last minute changes and stuff and even when I was getting stressed about the timeline, Joey was super cool the whole time and rolled with everything. The dancing never stopped! Joey (OnCue Events) was so amazing!!!

I can't believe how much fun everyone had. Everything was perfectly smooth the whole night, but the best part was the dancefloor. Joey is an incredible DJ. Like it's obvious that he's been doing this professionally for years. It's probably hard to find such a kind and professional DJ, who is classy and charismatic while also amazing at what he does and keeping everyone on the dancefloor the whole night. Incredible DJ....honestly we had never seen a DJ keep the dance floor going like Joey did. It was like he knew exactly what song to play, at what time, and for long to play it for! My wife and I aren't party animals, but out of all the DJ's we've seen, I've got to say he was the best DJ!! So much fun! Make sure to book Joey for your wedding, you can't beat the quality for the price. We loved his uplights too. Guests kept raving about him.

Joey was an incredible DJ!!!! We couldn't get over how every transition was perfect and the dance floor literally never stopped. As the mother of the bride, I had friends and guests coming up throughout the reception to ask how we found the DJ. At least 10 people had to have brought it up to me alone throughout the night. I still can't believe how much fun the night was...Let me tell you, picking the right DJ for a wedding is SO important. I don't know how the night would have gone if we didn't have Joey, who executed professionally from start to finish. He's what you need in a wedding DJ, no need to keep looking, book him!! :)

This guy is incredible. He absolutely did the best job possible. He is super friendly and can fit the mood of the room. He has a unique style and I absolutely love his temporment. He DJ my wedding in February and had the whole crowd jamming to his music. I recommend Joey a 10/10 for anyone!

Wow, Joey was an incredible DJ and host! We let him know that after dinner, the most important thing to us was to keep the party going and keep the dancing floor moving. The party never stopped! Many of our friends came up and mentioned how the transitions were great and he even made time for some slow dancing in the middle before bringing the tempo back up. We'll be telling our friends about Joey and his company OnCue Events.

Wow, what can I say, it was a blast! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole time. Joey went out of his way to cater to every request he had, also the Info Sheet that he provided months before the wedding even happened was a lifesaver!! We were able to handpick all the songs we wanted for each part of the ceremony and reception so easily. He was able to work in all the songs we wanted to hear later in the night, as well as work in requests from our friends. We will be recommending Joey and his skills and professionalism to any of our friends who need a wedding DJ!

Going with Joey at OnCue was an extremely good decision. We were worried about finding a DJ within our budget who would still do a great job, and Joey was flawless from start to finish. Ours was a Sunday wedding and even though we waited until the last minute to find a DJ, Joey worked our special day into his schedule. We decided to go with him because it was clear just how serious he takes his job as a wedding entertainer as soon as we started talking. He was excited to hop on a quick call, give us a full rundown of what we could expect, and answer any questions we had. The end result was an even more amazing wedding and dancing experience that we expected. The transitions were all smooth and our friends and family never left the dance floor. Everyone kept asking who the DJ was!! Don't hesitate to go with Joey!

When my wife and I were deciding on whether or not we wanted to go with a DJ or a band for our wedding, I initially wanted a band but my wife had a suggestion from her friend to book Joey for our wedding and saying how amazing he was....

...And all I can say is W.O.W. Joey made our day. He was punctual, professional, and extremely friendly to us and everyone at the reception. We never needed to request a song since he knew exactly how to keep everyone having a good time and people were coming up to me asking where we found him. 5 stars!!!

Our ceremony and reception would not have been such a success without Joey’s charm and professionalism. Joey was super responsive and helped us get an idea for how we were going to utilize music throughout the ceremony and reception. As everyone who has been through planning a wedding knows, it gets incredibly busy at the end. My bride and I simply didn't have the time to dedicate to music selection etc. Joey just asked for some general musical genres and vibes we were going for during different parts of the wedding. He also worked with us on song specific selections for different parts of the ceremony. He completely nailed our vision. In addition, we were throwing a backyard wedding and had some logistical issues to overcome as our ceremony and receptions were in different spots. Joey had no problem getting together everything we needed to get him up and running at each spot in our yard. He also had mics for all the different locations and speakers. He had a guideline so that we could think of all the little details that go into the announcing of wedding participants and music e.g., name pronunciation, cutting a song early, announcing cake cutting etc... Lastly, I believe we were one of Joey's first weddings. You wouldn't have known it. Not only did he get all the details down beforehand so that everything went smoothly, but he threw a great party. I got complements from everyone, from friends who enjoyed the reception to family who enjoyed cocktail hour to grandma that at some point he had the time to have a conversation with. When everything else seemed to be difficult with other vendors, Joey was super easy to work with. I can't recommend him enough.

Joey was amazing! He was so organized, and spoke directly to our wedding coordinator so that I wasn't stressed on the big day. Unbeatable Wedding with Richard DJing!!

Richard from OnCue Events was the perfect DJ for our wedding! From our first conversation, he was professional and attentive to our music preferences. On the big day, the music was spot-on, keeping the dance floor packed all night. I had so much fun lol. The night flew by, he read the room perfectly, and his setup was sleek. Joey recently worked our wedding at Flint Hill in Norcross and the overall experience was great. The guests loved his music selection and transitions. Before the wedding, we were able to provide Joey with a list of songs for the reception, dances, and party portion of our event, and was always following up within 24 hours of our questions. He was even proactive in emailing us with any questions he had. There were only small improvements that would have made it a 5 star event on all levels, but I would totally book him again for a wedding or entertainment event that I was hosting.
