Great catering service for wedding reception!
Communication was great from the start all the way through wedding day. The price was very reasonable especially compared to similar restaurants/caterers. Everything went extremely well and we are very pleased with the service. The servers were professional, quick, and did a great job of keeping the food trays full as people were getting food. They did a great job at the end of the night too with leaving the remaining food in a way that people could still grab food while the servers packed up their stuff and left as planned. I checked in with them a few times to make sure everything was good.

Amazing & under budget
Don’t overthink wedding food! Go with what you know! On the border did an amazing job at my wedding, from the food to the service. I did a taco bar with chips and salsa, and it was perfect for us. They arranged delivery with my coordinator, set up tables, kept food warm and cleaned up. The food tasted fresh and honestly way better than I imagined for tacos! I decided on them based on the price, as it was a lot cheaper compared to other local catering. So I was extremely impressed with everything!

We had On the Border cater for our wedding, and I highly recommend them!! The servers arrived early to deliver, set up, serve, and tear down the food. Our guests loved the steak & chicken fajitas, queso, chips & salsa, rice, beans, drinks, and sopapillas. We had 100 guests, and the pricing for On the Border was reasonable for the delicious food. Lisa Wood was our catering sales associate, and she was extremely helpful! The entire wedding planning process is stressful, but she was always available to answer questions, and made numerous changes to our order/contract based on my requests. The servers were professional, and we thought it was kind of them to pack up the leftovers for us to take home. I would absolutely book On the Border for future events!

2024 Daughter's Wedding
We knew right away that we made the right decision to use On the Border for our catering needs. From the first call to the end of the night service, they were very professional and efficient. We hosted approximately 110 guests, all loved the fajita and chip bar. Everything was amazing. The serving team arrived on time and set-up everything. At the end of the night, they packaged up all the leftovers in nice containers and left the area clean.

OTB was a great choice for catering our wedding! Throughout the entire process, their customer service was wonderful. Always prompt to answer questions or update my order if my guest count adjusted. They were able to create exactly what I had envisioned for appetizers and dinner. They were professional, on time, and allllll of the guests complimented our food later saying on the border fajitas were a GREAT idea. Also their queso rocks! Don’t forget to add that to your menu!!!

A Magical Day
Our contact, Danie, was incredible. She worked with us the entire time. She made wonderful suggestions and helped with any changes we needed to make. The food was delicious... exactly what we wanted. There were many options to choose from. Their food and services were very budget friendly. The waitstaff was on time, very professional, and helpful. We ended up with leftovers that were packaged up for us. I cannot recommend OTB enough for any catering job.

My husband and I got married Dec.30,2023 at The Springs in Valley View and we had On the Border cater our wedding, best decision we made. Absolutely fantastic! Easiest choice ever!
I had the best experience working with Dani and the OTB team. Leading up to the big day, she worked hard to ensure that we got everything we wanted and needed within our budget. The service was great and everyone spoke highly of the food! We had plenty left over to give out to our guests. If I had to redo everything over, OTB would still be my first choice.

Our experience with working with On The Border was amazing. After we initially reached out we had a consultation over the phone and were able to determine what we need. We initially decided we wanted fajitas but several months later decided we wanted to go with enchiladas and empanadas. We reached out to OTB and they were quick to help us change the menu. In addition, several days before the wedding our contact reached out to us to make sure we didnt have any last minute changes, which was great because we had to add a couple special meals for our gluten free and allergy friends that we needed to add! They arrived on time and had everything set up perfect for us for chips/salsa/queso during cocktail hour and were worked the buffet line during reception (bussers were also included!!). The food was amazing and all of our guests loved it. In addition, On The Border was very affordable compared to other catering companies! Highly recommend using them for your catering!

We hired them in March of 2022. They showed up on time and set everything up. We had 2 wonderful servers who were very friendly and polite. The food was amazing, it tasted hot and fresh. We had many compliments from guest on how much they enjoyed the food. It was a great value for the price, we had extra food that they packaged and we took home. We had the full service experience, complete with setup, take down and servers. Overall a wonderful experience and I would absolutely order from them again!

Perfect taco bar!!
We wanted a taco bar at our wedding and On the Border knocked it out of the park! We struggled to find a catering service that met our needs and we’re so thrilled we found them. Danie was so great to work with, especially during the process of postponing due to Covid. But when our day finally came the food and the service were outstanding! The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly! We had so many guests rave about the food - would highly recommend if you’re looking for great catering!

Great option for wedding catering under the current circumstances!
We were so pleased with the catering we received from On The Border for our wedding. Their options made it possible to safely serve a meal to our guests! We ordered individually-boxed fajita wraps, which also came with a side dish as well as chips and salsa. This way no one had to breathe on or touch anyone else's food. The fajita wraps also did not need to be served hot, which was perfect since we had dropped the idea of using heated chafing dishes when we made the decision not to do a buffet. The catering was delivered on time and was organized into the three types we ordered (chicken, steak, and vegetarian). For kids we ordered a few boxed taco meals. Everyone thought the food tasted delicious. We were stressed about figuring out how to adapt our wedding to keep everyone safe and healthy and couldn't be happier with the way things worked out.

Everything was perfect! The food was delicious and my husband and I really enjoyed having our plates made separate for our private dinner, which they did no problem! Being a COVID wedding, with all of the new rules and requirements, we were really nervous about how catering would go but they were the BEST to work with. I used On The Birder for the Rehearsal Dinner for my son’s wedding. The food was good, in fact, it turns out, that it was better food than what was served at the wedding itself. Everything was done long distance, except for the initial meeting while I was in the town for the weekend. The OTB caterers had been to the venue before and had experience with the set up. This was great as they didn’t need to ask me for much information, they knew what to do and did it. Food line went quickly. The left-overs were packaged up for us to take with us. We met with a representative at a wedding show that was held at the venue where we were having my son's wedding. The full service package was more than I expected. Danielle the coordinator was prompt, courteous and professional. The staff that showed up to set up and serve were first class. I would definitely recommend On The Border for your rehearsal dinner or wedding feast.

Excellent Service provided during wedding
Front start to finish the assistance received from OTB at a corporate level booking to the day on catering staff, was extremely helpful. Tim, Danie and the OTB team assisted us during a time when catering events is extremely difficult due to Covid-19 and they were able to execute these services flawlessly while still meeting all necessary guidelines. This was an extreme relief to our smaller staff and to the bride, groom and guest. Thank you for all you do!

My Family and Friends loved the food!
When I was planning my wedding I was looking for quality food at a good price. I came across On-The-Borders catering menu and was intrigued. I called and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even considering I called multiple times before placing my order. Once I placed my order Danie was on top of things and made it is so easy. The day off the wedding, the staff were friendly and professional. They set up quickly which made my guest and me very happy. 10/10 would recommend for any wedding. I had about 80 guest and everyone loved the food!

They worked with me as the amount of guests changed, even checking with me the day before to make sure they had it correct. They showed up when they said they would and set up. They made it look wonderful. They served and cleaned up. Many guests commented about how good the food was also. They also included some extra food to make sure none of my guests would go away hungry. At the end, they cleaned everything up and had all the leftovers packaged for us to take with us. I highly recommend using them for your catering needs. And be sure to get the full service option, it's completely worth it!!

On very short notice I had to change my caterer for my daughter’s wedding. I reached out to OTB and work with their coordinator who help me come up with a menu to fit my needs. The food was delivered on time by a very courteous well spoken and clean representative from OTB. He set up the food and warming trays and explained everything to us before leaving. The food was delicious and all my guest enjoyed the food. I would definitely recommend to anyone that’s having an event to contact them. The value of the food for the price was tremendous. Made wedding dreams come true!
I am a regular at On the Border, therefore having them cater for our wedding was a must! They made my wedding dreams come true! Everyone loved the pick three option! (Cheese enchiladas were the biggest hit) The groom and I had our own bowl of queso which made my heart happy. Overall, everyone loved it! Cocktail hour was chips salsa and queso and I kept hearing everyone say how awesome it was to have that at a wedding. I highly recommend them as your caterer. The team is very responsive and listens to every request even if it is 48 hrs before the event. (I requested more queso LOL) Our experience was perfect and I would do it again with the same menu and outcome!

The catering help that Danie Sevilla provided for my wedding was excellent. She made sure we had enough food and drinks for the number of people attending our wedding. She also worked with me on getting the delivery time setup so it would interrupt our ceremony. The servers were excellent. The catering folks at On The Border went the extra mile for us at our wedding. They were happy to work with us on setup timing and location, and even let us incorporate some food we'd brought along into the lineup. I heard a number of compliments on having hot delicious Tacos for our wedding instead of a fancier but less satisfying meal.
If you want to keep things fun and reasonably priced while still having a great meal, On The Border is a good way to go!

OTB was fantastic!!! Working with Dani was any brides dream. She was responsive and SO helpful and also very flexible. The staff onsite was professional and attentive. They helped clean off tables and throw trash out as well as boxed up all our leftovers which we were able to take home that night. We had a guest who is gluten, dairy and soy free and she even said she could not tell a difference and it was some of the best food she has ever had! I can not say enough positive things about my experience with On the Border and highly recommend them for your wedding day food!

Once we first met with Liz, she was fun, attentive and cared about every single detail down to matching my decor! Liz even went above and beyond to make sure my guest's gluten-free dietary requests were met. She worked so hard to make sure it went well and checked with me often to make sure everything was going as I'd hoped. Seriously amazing. The guests complimented the food all night. I did the chicken and steak fajita taco bar for dinner and quac-tinis and 5 layer layer dips for appetizers. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. The corporate department was friendly to work with as well and made sure I was happy with my order and confirmed several times. I can't recommend On the Border enough. My wedding day was perfect and large part of that had to do with choosing the right caterer! I wish I had my pictures back to add to this review! Liz and team did a great job decorating the table!!

The experience we had was excellent. The staff who served was personable and very helpful. At the end they continued to help by packing everything up in a way where several different families could take food home with them. Everything was exactly as we had expected if not better. Everyone truly enjoyed the food and the price was better than any place we had talked to. Greatly pleased with the entire dinner as were our guest. I have told many people about the experience and know of one wedding recently who used On the Boarder for their rehearsal dinner due to the raving review we gave. Thank You for helping us make our daughter and now son-in-laws day special and exactly what they wanted.

On The Border did an excellent job catering our wedding!! Danie was very responsive to my emails and was on top of everything. They were right on time and took very good care of my guest and even brought decorations that coordinated with our wedding colors!! And of course, the food was AMAZING at a pretty affordable price!

We actually used the OTB in College Station but Danie (catering rep) from Irving set up everything for us. She was sooooo responsive and they did a great job! We provided tacos & an appetizer queso bar for 250 people. All was hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend!

We used OTBC for our rehearsal dinner, and were very impressed with them. The food was amazing, and the value could not be beat. They provided staff, and some decor for the catering tables as well which was an added bonus. Everyone raved about how awesome the food was.
