If a fun dancefloor is your #1 priority like it was ours, you've gotta go with OnTarget!

DJ Jack was the best DJ we could’ve asked for. He kept our dancefloor popping during the reception, and was excellent at setting music and mics up for the ceremony. Jack was up to the challenge of incorporating both Harry Potter and Hamilton while keeping the energy up. Both DJ Jack and DJ Dan were super helpful throughout the planning process. I can’t recommend On Target DJ highly enough!!!

DJ Jack made my granddaugher's wedding a smoothly run and fun day!

DJ Jack kept the ceremony fun and on task. Due to his expertise, he knew exactly when things needed to happen (time to cut the cake, the icing is melting), and when to move the wedding indoors due to an upcoming storm. We could not be more pleased with his professionalism and help in making this a very special day.

Couldn't have asked for a better wedding DJ! Leading up to the day of, they were extremely responsive and would get back to me within the day for any issue that came up, even having phone calls with me on short notice right beforehand to work out some details (but definitely try to avoid that if you can). On the day of, our DJ, Jack, kept the crowd going and was exceptional at reading the feel of the crowd and keeping them on the dance floor. Behind the scenes, Jack and the staff kept everything going far smoother than we ever could have expected, and all our guests commented on how cleanly the event went. Our guests also loved the photo booth, which came with a beautiful guest book to remember how everyone felt AND looked on the big day. Your DJ is one of the most important vendors to choose well if you want to have a wedding or event that people remember, and we would choose On Target DJ 10 times out of 10.

There's no one better!

I just got married a few weeks ago and I am so grateful that I had Dan as my wedding DJ. He was absolutely amazing and made our reception a night to remember.
From the moment we met Dan, we knew he was the perfect choice for our big day. He listened to all of our requests and worked with us to create a customized playlist that perfectly captured the vibe we were going for. He was also incredibly organized and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night.
But the thing that really set Dan apart was his ability to read the crowd and keep everyone dancing. I saw some family members bust out moves I’d never seen before!
Overall, I can't say enough good things about Dan. He was professional, reliable, and just an all-around great person to work with. If you're in need of a wedding DJ, I highly recommend giving Dan a call. He'll make your reception one for the books!

Dan is amazing!! Couldn't ask for anyone better!

Dan was absolutely amazing!!! He set the mood for our reception and the guests were as happy as can be! He is an energetic talented DJ who knows how to keep the crowd engaged and entertained! We would highly recommend him for any event you may have!!

DJ Jack is the best!!!!

We had a lot of hiccups on our day but DJ Jack handled it like a champ! He was so sweet to me, as the bride, and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my own wedding. He was very patient and did an awesome job with the music during the ceremony and the reception! I danced the entire night away!

Phenomenal, would recommend 100%

From the beginning to the end, Dan was incredible! He was always prompt with our emails and calls, and when it come down to the actual wedding day, he was on time, the transitions were seamless, and the music was fantastic! I didn’t stop dancing the whole night. Thank you, Dan, for helping to make our wedding a day to remember! Dj brandon is fantastic!

We hired Brandon for our annual Oktoberfest fundraiser, and despite the fact that it was his first time, he did an incredible job weaving in announcements for sponsors, and reading the crowd for his music selection. He also played the "perfect amount of polka," arrived on time, was super friendly and easy to work with, and packed up without leaving a trace! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Phenomenal Experience!

My daughter and her fiance hired DJ Jack for their wedding in Boone, August 21, 2021. As the mother of the bride, I just wanted to take the time to let you know how much we appreciated DJ Jack!!

He was SO thoughtful and conscientious!! WAY beyond what would have been expected and way beyond his role as DJ! Multiple people also commented to me about how phenomenal the DJ was and I thought you should know! His kind and thoughtful interactions with the guests went beyond the excellent job he actually did as the DJ for the wedding.

I don't know how often I will have a chance to recommend a DJ, but DJ Jack will always be the only person I will recommend with the highest of confidence.

Many thanks to him and to your organization for contributing to a lovely evening for my daughter's wedding!

Highly Recommend!

Dan from On Target DJ was the DJ for our wedding. He was extremely professional and made the process of music selection super simple. He did our ceremony and reception music and it was all perfect, we also had him come to the rehearsal which was extremely helpful. Him and our coordinator did an amazing job of timing and keeping things flowing. We feel like he really listened to us and understood our taste of music. Dan was an awesome master of ceremonies and kept the dance floor full. Again, his music selection was perfect and the way he mixed the music was on point. Also, we felt the price was super reasonable! Would highly highly recommend!!

Dan did an excellent job at my daughter's wedding! He was a professional from the start of the process to the wedding day. He provided a packet that helped my daughter and fiance plan the ceremony and reception music. He is professional and very communicative. He made the process so easy. The day of the wedding he handled all the announcements and all went so smooth. Even though we could not have a dance party (due to venue and Covid) Dan handled all parts of the ceremony and reception including the grand entrance, couple and parent dances, cake cutting and grand exit. Dan truly made my daughter's wedding day a success and a very memorial event!

So thankful we chose this company to DJ

On Target DJ had DJ'd for one of our friends wedding and we really liked how they took control, so we weren't sitting around wondering what was happening next. We reached out to them for our wedding and are thankful we did. The communication is amazing, they have a book to help you determine which songs you want for which event (which was super helpful), and they bring a lot of energy. The Perfect Way to Dance the Night Away

As a program director and perfectionist..planning a wedding was far from care free. My type A and detail oriented brain lead to my wife and I searching high and low to find the vendors who would help us to have a smooth wedding day, and would fit our budget. One area we were incredibly passionate about was finding the right DJ. We know from experience that DJ's lead the way in major transitions and help to make the day unfold in a way that allows for lots of memory making.
When we first called Dan from OnTarget DJ, we knew that the services they would provide would be second to NONE. His attention to detail, level of experience, and amazing planning tools aided us in crafting a personalized wedding ceremony and reception that reflected us as a couple. During the day of- Dan was timely, flexible, and positive. We depended on him to make adjustments quickly, and keep the event flowing beautifully.
Throughout the cocktail hour, and reception OnTarget DJ embedded specific songs that were undoubtably hard to find- and played them at all the requested points discussed.
We are deeply grateful for the services and support that OnTarget DJ provided us with, and HIGHLY recommend this team to anyone in search of DJ services for their wedding or event!

Outstanding wedding MC/DJ

On Target DJ provided exactly what we were looking for in a wedding MC/DJ for our daughter's wedding. Jack was our DJ and he did a fantastic job! Many people came up to me after the wedding telling me how fun he was and how he kept the party going. Jack listened to our wishes and did not play music that was inappropriate for kids (by request). He mixed up a lot of songs and kept everyone surprised. There was great lighting and he kept the timeline of our wedding well. We chose to do the trivia game where the DJ asked each table a question which determined when they could go and get food. Everyone thought it was so creative. I also liked how they have a music guide with detailed questions which made me feel comfortable and more organized and like I had thought everything through. LOVE ontargetdj!

DJ Dan is the best! We are 22 years old and just got married and Dan was so great and all of our guests loved him and were all complimenting him! He played all the songs we asked and also was so prepared and had a binder to help us process all that we needed to for him and he is also just a really nice person! He helped organize our wedding party and mics for the ceremony and our wedding was in such good hands! I would highly recommend him and his company and would ask him to be our DJ 100000000 more times because he was absolutely fantastic!

Best wedding DJ! They are totally underrated! I wasn't sure what to expect, but he made our wedding incredible! Nobody wanted to leave the dance floor and our guests had a great time. Very professional, super nice guy, top of the line equipment. Prices are competitive, and he is very easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

We used OnTarget DJ for our wedding in June and I can't say enough great things! Our DJ was Tyler and he did such a fantastic job getting everyone on the dance floor. When we first met with OnTarget, they gave us a booklet to fill out with specific song requests for each portion of the ceremony/reception, genres for cocktail hour, and even had a large list of most requested songs. They were very organized, professional, and fun to work with. I 100% recommend them.

The DJ scheduled for my daughter's wedding cancelled, not leaving us a lot of time to find a replacement. We received two recommendations for On Target DJ. We think that it was a blessing in disguise that the first DJ cancelled. Dan had everyone on the dance floor from the first dance until everyone had to leave. He was very professional and worked with the bride and groom to ensure that he played the songs that were important to them. I highly recommend On Target DJ. Fun was had by all!!

Dan was an AMAZING DJ and we highly recommend him! I'd like to preface that we did not use a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator and Dan was one of the reasons that we felt comfortable with this decision. During the planning process, we were provided with a helpful workbook and guide to plan our wedding music alongside the events of the evening. Dan met with us twice in-person during this process which was very helpful and reassuring. During the event, Dan not only played music but was the MC for the evening. He ensured that everything progressed throughout the evening. When it came to the actual music, Dan managed to keep the dance floor packed the entire evening...and he kept the bride's wishes when unruly guests wanted to play banned songs.

Dan is the best! He was such a great DJ and kept people dancing all night. The sound quality for our outdoor ceremony music was incredible, too. Dan is very organized, responsive, and provides great suggestions. He clearly knows what he's doing! He also helped us think about our reception timeline, which was incredibly useful. I really appreciated how normal he was--he was different than the over-the-top DJs I had spoken with before booking Dan. We had a great time working with him!

Dan did an excellent job for us! He is a joy to work with-- so organized, friendly, and professional. As the bride, I had nothing to worry about after finishing rehearsal the night before the wedding. Dan worked with the musicians to get the sound right for the ceremony and the timing for all of the songs was right on cue! Music for dinner and dancing was perfect-- several people came up to me and said they loved the music choices. Dan does a great job communicating with the other vendors to get everything just right. I definitely recommend Dan for weddings and events!

We were SO PLEASED with our DJ, Tyler!!! He was absolutely great and he took complete charge as the M.C of our reception. This allowed us to enjoy the reception and our guests. Tyler was very thorough in executing everything in our "plan". He had wonderful ideas and suggestions that helped guide us. Most of all, the dance floor stayed full all night!!

Dan was GREAT to work with! I think I scared him with how organized I was but the music selection book he gives you is AWESOME. It really help know what all we needed to pick out! He was taking requests throughout the night and not one person was not on the dance floor. We had EVERYONE dancing.. age 1 to 50+ It was the absolute best time and he was awesome! Also did a wonderful job at getting everyone's attention. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and he is very reasonably priced! We paid under $1000 and he has no time limit!

My daughter was married on 03/19/16 and Dan provided the music and special lighting for the reception. He also provided the sound equipment used during the wedding ceremony. He was extremely professional and had a ton of ideas for the reception. He has a wonderful personality and has a natural talent for getting the crowd involved in what's going on from the fun games to the music and dancing. If anyone is interested in a DJ for any type of event this is the perfect choice. We really enjoyed working with him and highly recommend his services to everyone.

My husband and I are extremely blessed to have picked On Target DJ and Dan Etzler with us on our wedding day. Spot on. With a delay in our schedule, Dan was able to move with the photographers and the other events of the evening to make everything flawless. Dan was a great DJ for our wedding! He's really nice and easy to work with. He provided a workbook that helped us plan the reception--we really appreciated his guidance. He was really organized and professional. Our reception went great! Everyone had a super fun time. Dan dismissed tables to the buffet with trivia questions, which was a huge hit with everyone. His song choices were great and he found all of our last-minute foreign song requests. We all had a great time!

Dan did an excellent job as the DJ at our wedding. He was easy to work with, friendly and had a great taste for playing music that the crowd enjoyed. He ran the events of the reception smoothly and checked in with the bride and groom regularly to make sure the timeline was flowing as desired and to make sure we were ready for the next event. We first met Dan as a DJ at our friend's wedding in Winston Salem, and with our wedding a little over a year away, we immediately knew we needed to reach out to him and see if he could deejay our wedding in Raleigh. When my then fiance met with Dan for the first time, he was blown away by Dan's professionalism and organization. That level of service continued throughout our pre-wedding communication with him and throughout the day of our wedding. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about his music selection and personality, and we could not have been happier with the service he provided!

We asked some pretty tricky and specific things for Dan to do for our wedding ceremony and reception, and he absolutely knocked it outta the park! Every time I saw him in every meeting before the wedding, he always had a huge smile on his face and a ready laugh. He was very easy and professional to work with, provided many resources to help us plan our wedding music, and kept our wedding guests on the dance floor with us - and like I said before, excellently executed some very specific requests we made of him! Dan provided an incredible service for us on the evening of our wedding. Not only did he play the specific music that we requested when we requested it, (and also avoided playing that awful stuff we didn't want to hear), he also followed very specific and detailed instructions that we provided for all aspects of the ceremony and reception. And we were not easy on him. We apologized during the process because we were being so picky. But he took it all in stride. He went above and beyond. I was honestly concerned about how the DJ would play into the facilitation of the event that night. I shouldn't have been. It was like having a friend working the wedding. He seemed so familiar with everything we wanted, and he handled everything with such amazing class and expertise. And he was flexible during the event when we changed things last minute. Great job. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

I had a pleasure working with Dan. He is professional and responsive. We had a Chinese and Vietnamese wedding, even we are of different culture, Dan was flexible and listened to our requests.

He made suggestions on how to improve the event, he is able to communication fully, honestly, and positively.

What an awesome DJ!!! He knew exactly what songs to play at the perfect times for the guest, whether it was bride/groom games, line dances, songs for all ages, to songs for couples. We rented the large photo booth. Dan and his assistant manned it, helped our guests pic props and provided us with a scrapbook in which he had all the guests sign by our copy of their photo strips. It was the highlight of the night and our guests loved it! We couldn't be happier!

Dan was incredible and we were so lucky to have him for our wedding. Our wedding was a bit different with a mixture if American and Eastern European songs, and Dan did an amazing job! I cannot begin to say how glad I am that I chose On Target DJ for my wedding. I met with several DJ's prior to making my decision and was most impressed with Dan and On Target DJ. He was the most professional, courteous, and helpful DJ I met with. My biggest concern when dealing with companies is, hands down, customer service. Dan worked with me on my playlists, answered the phone the first time whenever I called, and graciously accepted my many last minute changes without hesitation. Some changes were even made during the actual wedding and he was willing and able to accommodate my requests.

Among many, one thing I was really impressed with was that during the planning stages when we needed to meet, he came to me. Some of the DJ's I initially spoke with wanted me to come to their office or meet near them at their convenience. Dan met me minutes from my house and at times that worked for me. This was a great start to our working relationship. I would give On Target DJ more stars if I could. If I ever need a DJ for any other event this will be my first call.

I PROMISE you will be just as impressed as I was. You cannot go wrong by doing business with On Target DJ.

We hired Dan as our wedding DJ. He was referred to us by a friend, and what a great referral! Dan was so easy to work with, adapted to our schedules, very helpful with song selection, and providing us with fun game ideas. He also created the wedding timeline, which saved me time from having to do it. Dan came to the rehearsal and also arrived EARLY (1:00pm) to get set up for the wedding (5:00pm) and to ensure the sound was just perfect for the venue. I would absolutely recommend Dan for your event, and I would also hire him again in the future for anything I needed a DJ for!

We were pretty picky when it came to a Dj, but are so glad we went with Dan at On Target DJ! Dan was extremely organized and progeasional, yet fun and energizing! He provided a customized timeline of the night, and allowed us to relax and know that everything was going to be taken care of. He was on top of it at our wedding! From the Groom: Dan did an excellent job at our wedding reception. The lighting, video slide show and music were done very professionally. He had a great selection of music so you could customize a playlist, or allow him to make judgments based on the mood and the audience. The volume and genre of music matched the atmosphere during dinner. After dinner, Dan was able to get the guests out on the dance floor where they stayed for the remainder of the evening. The sound quality was great. The transition from one song into another blended well with no awkward silences. If you are looking for a high quality DJ for any upcoming social event...this is your guy.

From the Bride: I would also add that Dan went the extra mile and surprised us and our Appalachian friends with a video of the final play in the Appalachian/Michigan football upset. He followed that with the App fight song. It was a really fun surprise and our friends loved it. I liked the planning meetings as it gave us chance to get to know Dan and for Dan to get to know us. Dan was very organized. He had suggestions for every aspect of the event, but certainly listened to our preferences and incorporated them in the program. Finally, the photo booth was a HIT!!

From the parents of the Bride: Dan held several meetings with us prior to the wedding. A couple of the meetings were before engaging Dan’s services. We met at a place convenient to us and he was prompt. As a result of these meeting, we were sure we had the right DJ for our daughter’s wedding. We engaged a wedding planner and Dan had no problem working with her and following her lead. As our daughter said, his suggestions and pre-planning were very helpful to someone who is doing a wedding for the first time and needs to know where to start. On a final note, Dan was very professional in every way.

Dan did my daughters wedding in July. We met him at a wedding show in Kernersville. He was just one of those people that you knew right away that he's the one. Dan was the DJ from On Target DJ that we had the pleasure of working with for our fall wedding. From the first meeting he was fabulous. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. We meet with him multiple times prior to the wedding to figure out the music and exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He even provided the music for our ceremony and attended the rehearsal to get it just right. He has been a DJ for a while and it is truly his calling in life. My Grandmother and Great Aunt (85 and 91 respectively) still talk about the music at the reception and how wonderful it was. Helpful and professional

Dan came recommended by our wedding venue. He was on time for all meetings, was very professional and helped make our wedding day run smoothly. He even helped me make a creative recessional song work for the ceremony and saved the day when I found a spider stuck in the lace on my dress right before reception entrances!

Super friendly, knows his stuff!

From the first phone call with Dan we knew he was the perfect fit for our wedding. He's friendly, easy to work with, shared lots of great knowledge and experience, and kept the dance floor full all night! 100% recommend.

Great wedding DJ!

On Target DJ has been wonderful to work with. Tyler was our DJ and he was great! They made the process very easy and it made one less thing for us to worry about for our wedding day. We spoke with Dan a couple times and let him know what we want and they took care of it from there! Tyler came prepared and did everything we requested and was very professional! Had no issues what-so-ever.

Tyler did an amazing job! He played a wide variety of music and we had so many people on the dance floor the whole night! It was one of the only weddings I’d seen where almost everyone was still their at the exit!! I highly recommend Tyler and On Target DJ for any event!

Dan has DJ's for a few weddings in my family, including our wedding. He is an absolute joy to work with, he truly brings the life to the party. Above all he is a fantastic host, which is not true for most DJ's. He is great with making sure the night flows without flaw, and is incredibly attentive to your needs. While we did ask him to play some of our favorite 2000's rock tunes, he upped his game and really got people dancing with some original mixing and great dance songs, which was a great move. We have never seen so many people dancing at a wedding before! Please book with Dan

Dan of On Target was our guy after meeting number 1! He was so down to Earth and someone we wanted to hang out with - so of course we wanted him at our wedding! His planning and schedule were so helpful for our overall planning! The day of he did not disappoint! He made the whole day run so smoothly and was flexible with his schedule so we could have the day just as we wanted it - no pressure to hit time points but still did everything we wanted. His music was on point! He played all of our requests and kept people dancing the entire night. He is a great DJ and just an all around good guy - definitely someone you will want on your big day! DJ Brandon missed the boat

We were recommended DJ Dan; what we got was DJ Brandon. He mispronounced our last name three separate times. If he wanted to know how our last name was pronounced, he could have asked us how it was pronounced when we talked to him before our wedding reception. We have a typical English last name and I have literally never heard our last name mispronounced in the way he mispronounced it.

On top of that, he did not play the right song for our cake cutting. He also played some strange songs we did not have on the list for the dancing portion of our reception.
