What A Night!
We stayed at the Omni on our wedding night before heading out of town for our honeymoon. The entire experience was fantastic. We were able to valet our vehicle and check in early, making the rest of the days timeline easy to maintain. Then when we arrived that night opening the door to our room brought tears of joy to our eyes. They had places rose petals from the door to the bed, formed two hearts on the bed, and left a treat of champagne and chocolate covered treats for us. Our deck overlooked the city skyline to the north and the east. My husband and I can’t say enough about the experience and thank the entire team at the Omni for a once in a lifetime evening. -

The Omni Severin Hotel was the perfect choice for our intimate wedding. We booked several months prior to the COVID-19 pandemic unfolding. Our coordinators, Tara & Stephanie, kept us updated and contacted us regularly for any requests, changes, or updates. Their professionalism and attention to detail made our day so organized and easy-going!! My family, especially our bridal party, were amazed not only at how gorgeous the venue was, but, just at how smooth the day went. As a bride, I was well pleased!! Our guests' are still talking about their professional service, food, and the atmosphere. The Omni made our day so simple & peaceful during difficult times. The Omni also provided hand sanitizing stations & our guests were able to socially distance themselves. I highly recommend booking the Omni, even for the new norm of small, intimate weddings. -

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Omni (and also stayed there the weekend of our wedding :)). They were so accommodating to our group for the weekend and so helpful throughout the entire process and my numerous emails and changes:) We absolutely loved working with the Omni for our rehearsal dinner and Tara was extremely organized and great to work with! It was a great space for our rehearsal and was able to accommodate our large group with ease. The event space, food, décor, and service were excellent! We also did a meet and greet at the Severin Bar after and the service and staff were great there and we had a blast! We had a great weekend downtown for our wedding and would definitely recommend the Omni for any event! -

I don't know where to start! The Omni Severin Hotel went above and beyond! Stephanie Burkhart was amazing from start to finish! The hotel is beautiful and I received so many compliments on my wedding! :) I really can't thank Stephanie and the staff of the Omni enough. You guys made my wedding unforgettable, and helped me so much during wedding planning! Stephanie helped me modify the menu for special requests and allergies, she even made it so that I could use the Omni shuttle to get to the church, on really short notice. Thanks for everything! If you are getting married in Indianapolis, have your wedding here!!! -

Every associate of Omni Severin was so wonderfully helpful in every aspect! The decisions and details were made so easy and efficient by the Omni's Wedding Coordinator, Tara! And the catering was delicious with the most beautiful plate presentation! This day was made perfect by the Omni Severin!

Megan Sent on 07/11/2012Loved everything about this venue! Had both my ceremony and reception here, which was especially great for out-of-town guests...no one got lost trying to get from the ceremony to the reception.
I received many, many compliments from guests on how nice the hotel was; how great it was that the ceremony, reception, and hotel rooms were all at the same place; how close it was to everything downtown; and how excellent the food was! My bridal party and I also had our makeup/hair done in the bridal suite at the hotel, which was very convenient. Plus, their bridal suite is beyond gorgeous!
They also provide you with a coordinator when you book--my coordinator was Kate, and she was absolutely wonderful to work with.
I did a TON of research when planning my wedding, and I can honestly say that this place truly gives you the most bang for your buck. You get so much here that's included in the wedding package--a great dinner and a dessert bar, a beautiful space, a night in the bridal suite (plus a coupon for a stay on your 1-year anniversary), all set up and tear down is taken care of, there's no cake cutting fee, and they provide a lot of things that other places force you to rent or buy yourself (linens, china, chair covers and sashes, etc.). They were also really good about the room block--a lot of my friends procrastinated and booked their rooms after the cut-off date, but were still allowed to get the discounted room rate, which I know many places won't do.
Would absolutely recommend the Omni to anyone looking at getting married in the Indy area--you will not regret it! -

Courtney Sent on 05/15/2012We had our ceremony and reception at the Omni Severin so dinner was included with the total package but let me tell you, it was delicious. With 200 guests at the wedding, you kind-of prepare for something to go wrong, but the Omni was completely professional and elegant - it was perfect. The three courses arrived in perfect timing and were served with complete elegance. It was very fancy and the food was nice and hot. We are still getting raves from our guests on how good the food and dessert bar (included in the wedding package) were!! -
Alexa Sent on 12/12/2017This venue was fantastic! Everything was very easy and streamlined, and the staff was very responsive and flexible. The upstairs was beautiful for the cocktail hour, and the dinner was a great set-up. Food was some of the best I've had at a wedding. Coordinating with the DJ and florist went well. The renovated ballroom for dancing was absolutely gorgeous! The lighting created the perfect atmosphere for dancing and fun. I highly recommend this venue, especially if you have family and friends coming from out-of-town - it makes it easy for them to head to their rooms afterwards, and transportation from the airport is easy. THANK YOU!!!

Kaitlin Sent on 12/18/2011The Omni was absolutely beautiful! We had a winter wedding so the Omni was already decorated very tastefully for Christmas which added extra warmth to the venue. We worked with Kate Edwards who took our event about 2 months before the wedding due to staffing changes. This could have added a lot of stress but she was wonderful! She asked us a lot of questions so she knew exactly what had been planned and was very easy to communicate with. She even had a gift for my mother and I, so sweet and thoughtful! The Omni is a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for, it was very nice and a lot of things were included which made it better. I would highly suggest taking a look at the Omni :)
