Our perfect venue!
The Omni Parker House was a dream venue. If you are looking for a place that is a well-oiled machine, elegant and timeless, and provides exceptional service from start to finish, look no further. We held our welcome party, ceremony, and reception at the venue and had many guests utilize the hotel guest room block. Guests loved having everything in one location, and the recent renovations on the property made the guest rooms comfortable and updated, while also preserving the elegance and history of the property. The ballroom was stunning, spacious, and bright. Guests all said the food was incredible, and appreciated the level of hospitality provided by the hotel staff. Everyone from the front desk receptionists, to the bellmen, to the bartenders were kind, helpful, and hospitable.
The planning process was a positive one with members of the sales and catering team. We booked the venue a year and a half in advance, and in that time worked with several people on the team. Every single person was helpful, responsive, communicative, and easy to work with. We always felt like we could trust the team at the Omni Parker House, and it proved true. We felt like everyone wanted to make our experience a positive one, and we were asked at many points during our weekend if there was anything we needed. There is such a value in working with an experienced team, like the one at the OPH. They allowed us to customize our wedding to be uniquely us while also providing a comprehensive, elegant, and timeless wedding package. We are so appreciative of this team, and feel lucky to have had the OPH as the backdrop of our wedding day.

Amazing Wedding Venue & Staff
Amazing staff, working with Richard was perfect he was responsive and accommodating he made our dream wedding come to life. The wait staff and bartenders were professional and friendly. The ballroom was gorgeous and even more than we could have asked for. We would recommend this hotel to anyone! -

Wedding Venue Beyond Our Wildest Dreams!
We had our wedding 9/9/23 at the Omni Parker House and could not be more thrilled with our decision. From the moment we met Richard on our first venue tour, I knew that we could trust him with our wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, we relied on him for his expertise and opinion on everything from timeline, meal choices, and beyond. I asked him no shortage of questions and he was so incredibly patient with me. Once we got closer to the wedding, he coordinated logistics with our vendors and on the day of the wedding, made sure that my vision was executed to perfection. We also worked with Robert to organize our room block, and he was so professional and extremely communicative. We ended up having almost 70 rooms at the hotel. Most of our guests traveled from out of town for our wedding, so having everything in one place and have it be convenient for our guests was very important to us. Anytime I had questions or needed anything changed for a guest, Robert was happy to help.
We had a gorgeous bridal suite that was included in the package that completely exceeded any expectation I had. It was more than enough room for my 9 bridesmaids and four hair/makeup vendors, and felt like such a luxurious place to stay the entire weekend! The hotel staff was also AMAZING. Everyone was raving about how nice and kind everyone was. Pedro (the banquet manager) was incredible to work with. Throughout the night he checked in on us and updated us about what was coming next. Our guests also continue to come up to us, months after the wedding, telling us how delicious the food was! For a couple like us who wanted to get married in Boston, the Omni Parker House was the absolutely perfect venue. Our wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams. Our pictures in the hotel, across the street and in the Public Gardens are so special, and the hotel itself captures the Boston charm that we love so much. The ballroom is not just like any hotel ballroom - it's so unique and beautiful. We truly could not recommend this venue and the incredible staff enough!!-

Best wedding experience I could have ever imagined!
I worked with Richard Pimentel and Robert Brand for my wedding at the Omni Parker House in August 2023. The venue was amazing and Richard and Robert were there to walk me through every step of the process from picking the menu to coordinating vendors to blocking hotel rooms for guests. All of my guests commented on how friendly, helpful and accommodating all of the staff was at the Omni Parker House. I truly had the best day of my life! It was an incredible experience and I originally picked this venue for their food selection and the wedding cake - a two tiered Boston Cream Pie cake. Richard made me feel at ease and I was able to enjoy my wedding day stress free. I would highly highly highly recommend this venue! -

An Ideal Wedding Venue
We cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Omni Parker House. We got married this past April and had our reception in the Rooftop Ballroom at the Omni Parker. From the initial meetings and planning to the week and day of, the Omni Parker House staff was helpful, receptive, and accommodating- they created the wedding of our dreams. Richard Pimentel with the Omni is a gem - he went out of his way to answer all our questions, work within our budget, provide his expert advice and help us to make our wedding reception dreams a reality. We would recommend the Omni Parker House to any couple looking for the perfect Boston wedding day - from the caring and friendly staff to the beautiful ballroom and delicious Boston Cream Pie, you won’t go wrong choosing the Omni Parker House for your wedding day or really any event! -

Perfectly Beautiful and Flawless!
We selected the Omni Parker House to host our daughter’s wedding and it was THE best
decision we could have made. After looking at many possible venues, OPH overwhelmingly won
with its elegance, location, flexibility, value and the benefit of working with an experienced and
profoundly caring staff. Speaking as the mother of the bride, and on behalf of our daughter, we cannot say enough good things about the hotel and its people.
We had the pleasure of working with Richard throughout the process. He is a true
professional, gracious and kind, who cares deeply about the exactness of such an important
day/event and the happiness of his clients. He and his staff (including the wonderful banquet
managers) never used the word “no” and were always willing to be flexible to our needs and
wants, as well as go the extra mile for us. In addition, it was important to us that we could offer
our guests a comfortable and affordable place to stay and Richard made that possible. We were
thrilled that the great majority of our guests were able to stay at the hotel with us to maximize
our time together.
Our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding on August 27, 2022 was simply perfect! The enormous
bridal suite was exceptional for the bride and her attendants for hair, makeup and relaxing.
Richard also found the perfect (and fun) space for the groom and his party to enjoy as well. The
Press Room was an elegant ceremony setting, the Wheatley Terrace Room for cocktails was so
much fun, and the Rooftop Ballroom was beautiful beyond expectation, warm and inviting and
absolutely GLOWED all night. The food from cocktails to dinner was delicious and we were
proud to hear that guests enjoyed their meals. As for the serving staff, they are tenured pros
and it showed with their non-intrusive table service and warm smiles.
The newlyweds were both so happy and proclaimed it “the best day of our lives!” Music to our
ears! Not only did they have the best day but everyone at the wedding agreed the party
couldn’t have been more fun. In fact, months later we are all still talking about how much fun
we had and what a gorgeous wedding it was. We will always be grateful to OPH for an
outstanding experience and cherished memories. We give our most highest recommendation
for the Omni Parker House to anyone thinking about a Boston city wedding. Simply Perfect!-

Exceptional venue, venue coordinator, and experience
It was a sincere pleasure working with Teri and the team at the Omni Parker House. We are so, so grateful we chose this venue for our 150-person classic winter wedding.
The site itself is so beautiful and historic, with plenty of fun details to entertain our guests. It was an evening winter wedding during a storm, but there were so many beautiful places to take portraits, and their holiday decorations were very tasteful yet festive. We had our ceremony in the press room and it was perfect for the guests who could then just venture up to cocktail hour and the reception all in one place. This was great not only for our older guests, but also allowed our vendors to have more time with us and less time devoted to traveling from site to site for setup. We were able to take tons of photos with our loved ones in different areas while staying dry and cozy in our black tie attire!
We loved the extra details the Parker House adds to the special day for the comfort of the bridal party, whether it be plenty of photogenic and roomy getting ready areas to use for the different groups, or the good luck toast for the bridal party in the adjacent room prior to the ceremony, or the private cocktail hour for them to refresh at in a separate room from the main guests so they can take a breather before the reception. We thought the Parker House considered their comfort in many steps along the way and we appreciated that for our closest friends.
We stayed in the Parker suite for our wedding weekend and it was wonderfully large and was the perfect place to meet guests the day before and after before they traveled home. We are very grateful to the staff for being so attentive to our needs and checking on us frequently for cleaning and refreshing throughout the stay. We are also very grateful they allowed us to stay up late with some of our guests that night in the room, savoring the night and time with those who flew from California to be there with us!
Everyone from the front desk to the bellmen to the cleaning staff to the servers at the wedding reception were incredibly friendly, skilled and talented with their work, and helpful to us during our entire stay. They made us feel special when we were there, and they linger in our minds as we think back on the wonderful weekend, and we feel very lucky to have worked with them.
Teri was so wonderful to work with, I cannot overstate that. When we were touring our selection of venues in Boston with my sister, our immediate comfort and confidence in Teri was one of the main deciding factors in our booking the venue. She is an asset to the Parker House Team. I had many questions throughout the planning process and she was so quick to communicate back with us when we emailed her, so accommodating to our requests, and so calming and helpful about everything. This made such a huge impact on the planning process for me. My whole family enjoyed meeting her during the tasting meeting and they also went out of their way after to tell me how great it was to have Teri on our team! We cannot thank you enough! -

Superior Customer Service!
This is a long post, so bear with me! But if you’re on the fence, of choosing a venue, hopefully this will help you see what an incredible venue/organization Omni Parker House is! When my now husband, Jon, and I were looking at venues in Boston in the Spring of 2019, we quickly became defeated. Even with our decent budget, our dream of a city wedding didn’t seem realistic. Jon still set up tours/meetings at every Boston venue with the hope that maybe we could make something work. The moment I stepped foot into the Omni Parker House, I fell in love. It was absolutely stunning and has a rich history that sets it apart from other hotel venues. I was certain that we would never be able to afford a venue like it, but somehow, not only did it fall within our budget, but it included so much! The staff at Omni Parker House made us feel like valued customers even before any contracts were signed. They were professional and accommodating, allowing for my parents who live out of town to be involved with every step of the process. The high standards that the Omni Parker House possesses put us at ease in knowing our wedding would be top quality. We scheduled our 225 person wedding for July 2020…And then COVID hit, and we, along with many other 2020 couples, were forced to postpone our wedding for a year. Throughout this time, the staff at Omni Parker House kept us informed of any information they received about reopening and guidelines almost immediately. Therefore, we always felt in the loop, even if it were simply an update saying that they had no updates. As our date was quickly approaching, we visited the Omni Parker House where we reviewed what our wedding day would look like. The city of Boston’s guidelines were stricter than the state’s guidelines, and while they were put into place to ensure everyone’s health and safety, it didn’t make for a “fun” wedding by any stretch of the imagination. Our disappointment and stress level was at an all-time high knowing our 225-person (even a 100-person), city wedding was out of the question. The Omni Parker House team worked with us to create any work-arounds or solutions to create a more enjoyable wedding that still adhered to the health guidelines, but their hands were tied. In knowing that they wouldn’t be able to provide the wedding experience we had hoped for (through NO fault of their own), the team at the Omni Parker House offered us a full refund to put towards another venue outside of the city that could allow for more people. In hearing about other venues/vendors who charged us astronomical fees for rescheduling weddings that were originally scheduled to happen in the height of the pandemic/lockdown, we were certain that switching venues would be out of the question…however, Omni Parker House OFFERED this to us. If that doesn’t speak to the their level of customer service, I don’t know what does! The fact that a company who could have easily just kept our money, forcing us cut down our guest list from 225 people to 60 and have a wedding that we wouldn’t be completely satisfied with, but chose not to, is a testament to their strong commitment to customer satisfaction. I truly cannot thank the staff of Omni Parker House enough for investing their time and service with us. While we weren’t able to have our “dream city wedding”, Omni Parker House allowed us the opportunity to have a wedding that we could share with all of our friends and family which was the most important aspect of the day for us. If you want a beautiful wedding and a team that will do anything to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams, I cannot recommend Omni Parker House enough!Omni Parker House's reply:

Everything was Perfect!
I can not that the people at the Omni Parker House enough. I had never been to a wedding before, so I had no idea what went into planning one. From beginning to end this hotel was amazing. At our first meeting, our coordinator, Richard, really took the time to show us how beautiful a wedding there could be. He walked us through each space and talked us through how each space would be set up and how it would look (something no other venue did!). He was always so accommodating with my requests! My family lives out of town, but when they came in town, he made an appointment to show them everything.
The staff here was also incredible. Everything was coordinated so well from the ceremony down to the second each course was served for dinner. They coordinated with our outside vendors and really eased our stress.
On top of everything else, you really can’t ask for a more beautiful venue. There was so much rich history and stunning views of the city. Coupled with the beautiful woodwork and decorations, we did very little extra decorating, and everything was beautiful!
I can not say enough good things about our experience with the Omni Parker House. We really can’t imagine our wedding going any better. Everything was absolutely perfect! -

September 2019 - Absolutely Amazing
I cannot begin to express how amazing our wedding was at the Parker House. We originally chose the hotel for the beautiful architecture, amazing location in the heart of the city and rich history. Not only did the hotel serve as our home base for the weekend, we had our rehearsal dinner, a welcome reception for out of town guests, our wedding reception and after party there as well. Without a doubt, the team is so experienced and knowledgeable. To Colleen, thank you for helping us through every step of the wedding planning process to make sure we had the perfect day. Everyone at the hotel from the staff checking in guests to those working our wedding events and those behind the scenes. We had the most amazing event and hope to come back to celebrate our anniversary in the future. -

Elegant Wedding in an Historic Venue
The OMNI Parker House management and staff were outstanding in helping us during the planning phase for our daughter's wedding (Bride and Groom live out-of-town) and throughout the entire wedding weekend. David Mediano, Director of Catering, was our lead contact, Elaine, Sienna, and Kyle were the banquet managers for the wedding reception and Sunday Brunch. Emilie was incredibly responsive in managing the room block--most all guests stayed at the venue. We felt like the whole hotel was involved with the details of the wedding with separate rooms for the bridal party hair and make-up, ketubah signing, ceremony, cocktail hour and ballroom reception --and yet another room for the Sunday Brunch. Wonderfully accommodating--and the outcome was a memorable and beautiful start to our daughter's marriage. Thank you! -

We were married in the Omni Parker House Rooftop Ballroom on 12/29/17. We were looking for a city-feel Boston wedding, in the winter, accessible to guests flying in from all corners of the world, that felt elegant, classic and fun. The Parker House is all that, historic Boston charm and more. We worked with Alison Rose, one of the event coordinators, who was absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. She was well organized, professional, responsive and accommodating with everything from stopping by to pick out linens to day-of changes we made. The staff at the Omni were excellent-- everyone from the bellmen to the housekeeping to the banquet staff made sure every single imaginable need we had was met and exceeded. The day of, everything operated really well from shuttle pick up to the end of the night. The food was delicious and the reception/banquet staff, servers, bar staff, coat check, etc. were great! The ballroom looked absolutely beautiful all done up on our big day. Alison made us feel like her only clients for the entire year and a half we worked with her and we are so grateful we ended up having our reception at the Omni! -

I cannot begin to express our gratitude that my husband and I have to the Omni Parker House and to Amanda, our coordinator. We had a two year engagement, which means that we spent a LOT of time communicating with Amanda and frequenting the venue. I was very concerned with the amount of people we invited (214), but Amanda assured us that the evening would flow smoothly. She encouraged us to visit the venue during weddings with a similar number of guests and was always there to greet us when we arrived (even though I am sure she had more pressing duties given that she was coordinating the weddings.). We ended up having 198 guests and I truly feel it was the perfect amount. From the flow of the cocktail hour in the Wheatley Terrace to the set up of the tables in the ballroom - everything was perfect! We met with Amanda on a few occasions and, when a potential problem occurred, she worked with us to offer solutions and always gave us the utmost confidence that the day would be everything we hoped for - and she was right! Everything was beyond our wildest dreams and she made our vision come to life. I didn't have to worry about organizing my vendors because Amanda reached out to them all and coordinated details with them.
We wanted a classic city wedding and the Omni Parker House made this possible. All of the history within the walls of the gorgeous hotel and the amazing views of the city from the rooftop ballroom were a few of the many reasons we chose it as our reception destination. Having a longer engagement meant that we made frequent stops to the Omni Parker House - and it has become such a special place to us. There is no othervenue like it in Boston and we are so grateful to have been able to celebrate such a special time in our lives at such a special place in history.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding at the Omni Parker House at the end of April. It went far beyond our expectations, and was truly a day to remember.
We booked the Parker House for our wedding date about 16 months in advance after meeting with Alison for a tour. The venue was lovely, and we could tell that Alison would be amazing to work with. After signing our contract, Alison was there to answer any questions we had while we organized our big day. It was unbelievably helpful to have her there for us, and she was always so responsive.
We had our ceremony in the Press room, and the set up by the hotel could not have been more lovely. Every detail was arranged. The same was true for the cocktail hour space. I cannot say enough good things about the Alcott ballroom. Our pictures of the room are stunning, and our guests were so impressed with what an incredible job the Parker House did both in setting up the room and in providing exceptional service during the meal. Thank you to Elaine for making sure that we were able to eat every course! The reception was a blast, and it was because of the amazing job Alison and Elaine did to organize everything.
A few special thank yous. Thank you to Seamus, who made us feel like we were old friends. You went above and beyond for us and for our guests, even bringing birthday cakes to two of our guests who were celebrating birthdays during the wedding weekend. Thank you to Elaine for running a flawless ceremony and reception. And a big thank you to Alison, who provided more help than I could ever say, and was such a source of support and guidance throughout the planning process.
We will treasure our memories of our wedding at the Parker House. -

I was so incredibly happy that we found the Omni Parker House Hotel. Everything, from start to finish, was wonderful beyond words. We worked with Alison Rose. She was helpful and kind from the very beginning, always responding to my emails and incredibly patient with all of my questions. She worked with us (and within our budget) to create the perfect wedding weekend for all of our out of town guests - from our rehearsal dinner to a welcome reception and through our Sunday brunch. It was a wonderful weekend and we cannot say enough fabulous things about them! -

We could not have chosen a better wedding venue! The Omni Parker house, and specifically Alison Rose, was fantastic from start to finish. Alison was extremely professional and kind from when she took us to tour the venue throughout our entire wedding process. Alison made sure that all of our needs were met and that we were informed every step of the way. When it came to our actual wedding weekend, the staff at the Omni cannot be beat. Everyone from the valet to the bellhops and the front desk were so helpful and friendly. Elaine, our banquet manager on the night of our wedding, paid attention to every detail and worked so hard to ensure that my husband I actually got to eat on our wedding night even though we were distracted by everything else going on. The Press Room was perfect for our ceremony and the rooftop ballroom views made the night so special for us. We will never forget the Omni and all they did to ensure we had a perfect wedding! -

Our experience with the Omni Parker House could not have been better. We worked with Alison Rose and she was absolutely wonderful - a top notch professional. From our first meeting, Alison made every part of planning pleasant and seamless. She was responsive, accommodating, helpful and really alleviated a lot of the last-minute and day-of stress. She checked in with all of our vendors on our behalf and made sure everyone was where they needed to be on the big day! (This was super helpful because we did not use a day-of wedding planner).
We had our cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom and it was amazing; a real dream come true type of experience. The setting up there is bright and beautiful and the space was the perfect size for our wedding (just under 200 people). The food was absolutely delicious, too!
We also worked with Jamie on our room block and she was so helpful and patient with all of the questions and last minute changes from our guests.
The Omni is truly a special place. We HIGHLY recommend this venue! -

We hosted our Welcome Dinner at the Omni Parker House the evening prior to our wedding day. The whole process was just SO easy! We worked initially with Clare who helped us figure out the contract and envision the event! We were living out of state at the time, so Clare went above and beyond and showed the space via FaceTime so that we could get an idea of what the space would look like before booking it! She was also incredibly patient as we went back and forth several times trying to decide what kind of event we were going to have (sit down, plated dinner, buffet style, etc), and made suggestions to us that we ended up keeping and loving! We then worked with Kasey to finalize all the details, including the menu and timing of the event, and it was perfect! The transition was incredibly easy, and the execution of the evening was flawless. Our guests loved the historical atmosphere that the hotel has, and also LOVED the food! Thankfully we had had a few last minute cancellations because otherwise we would have run out of food given how much our guests kept going back for second and thirds! The event staff were also incredibly kind and generous, and allowed us to stay past our contracted time since they saw how much fun our guests were having!
Overall, it was the perfect way to start the wedding weekend!! -

We could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding at the Omni Parker House. We worked with Alison throughout the planning process and from my first phone call with her up to our wedding day, she went above and beyond in being extremely helpful, responsive, accommodating and helped to keep us relaxed because we knew we were in great hands. During our wedding weekend, Alison made sure that everything was flawless. I did not worry about a single detail in the ballroom because I knew it would all be perfect and it was. We worked with Kasey on our guest room block and she also was extremely helpful in making sure that we had the rooms that we needed and was very responsive whenever we had questions or wanted an update on our block. We also cannot say enough great things about the hotel staff and hotel itself and highly recommend this beautiful venue! -

I’m not even sure where to begin, because the Omni was literally the answer to our prayers. All we wanted was a beautiful, downtown wedding in the city and were having so much trouble finding a venue that was not outrageously expensive. The Omni was so willing to work with us in every way, and we settled on a Sunday in April. The best word to describe what we got was: class. The service was extraordinary, the venue stunning and the flow was flawless. We had several guests with dietary restrictions, which they handled impeccably (our guests went out of their way to tell us how well the staff treated them). The venue itself was so gorgeous that we barely needed to bring anything in, and truly encompassed our classy/romantic/upscale theme. Our planner Clare was so on top of everything, and she was a blast to work with. She would periodically check in with me and ask what I was working on, and if there was anything she could do to help. As an event planner in another life, I’d often email her on a Monday with a slew of random questions, which she would answer quickly and thoroughly. When my dad wanted a specific wine for the wedding, she contacted the distributor to ensure it could be brought in for no extra cost. When my mother-in-law wanted to ensure her family’s guest rooms could be near each other, she and Kasey were all over it. When my husband and I came back to our suite post-after party, we were welcomed by a bottle of my favorite champagne and a sweet note from Clare. Aside from actually getting married (!!!), the most important thing for us was ensuring the flow of the day went well, and our guests got a top-notch experience and the Omni Parker House delivered on every single aspect. -

We had an incredible experience working with the Omni Parker House, and specifically their Director of Catering (David), Banquet Manager (Elaine) and Catering Coordinator (Kasey.) Our wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, a pre-wedding meet and greet, wedding ceremony, wedding reception and a post-wedding brunch were all held at the Omni, and the convenience of having all of these events on site in addition to lodging was so appreciated by our guests. Every need of ours and our guests was quickly met with pleasure throughout the course of our wedding weekend. The Omni worked with us to ensure we had enough rooms for our various events, as well as designated areas to take photos in, compile welcome bags, etc. Absolutely everyone at the Omni from the bartenders, to the bellhops, to the Guest Service Manager (Seamus) treated myself and my now husband, as well as our family's and guests as old friends who they were happy to see, host and help. The Omni Parker House is simply gorgeous, and has such a regal yet intimate feel to it. The Press Room was just perfect for our ceremony, and the Rooftop Ballroom made for a scenic and memorable reception. The food was incredible, the service was phenomenal, and a good time was had by all.

The Omni Parker provided us with a magnificent venue for my daughter's ceremony and wedding. She got married a few weeks before Christmas and the hotel was decorated so beautifully and welcoming. Many of our guests spent the weekend, and were given wonderful accommodations and excellent service. Claire, the wedding/event coordinator, was outstanding, she saw to every little detail and truly helped make this wedding a magical evening. -

The Omni Parker House was the first place my fiance and I looked at when trying to find out a venue for our wedding.
We looked at 13 more after that. Yet we kept coming back to the Omni.
Not only is the venue amazing, with its rich history, beautiful building and the perfect location. (We had family coming in from out of town, so the fact that it's right in downtown Boston was a huge positive.) But, the people there make it that much more special.
We worked with Clare Luscinskas and she was amazing. From answering every one of our million questions to working with us to help create our perfect vision, she was truly a partner in the process. And the day of the ceremony, she was there, along with Elaine, and they helped make sure everyone knew what was going on, where things were taking place, etc. The wait staff was professional. The food was delicious. The drinks were flowing. We had so many things we were worried about and all for no reason. Because when the day of our wedding came, Clare had everything handled, and it all went off perfectly.

My husband, mother, and I worked with Clare L. and she was PHENOMENAL. Very responsive, very thorough- really knows her stuff. People still rave about the food, all the steaks were cooked perfectly and served warm, and the service was flawless. Clare was cool, calm, collected and just amazing. The rooftop ballroom is the ONLY one in Boston- and the hotel is beautiful. I knew I had to have this venue the moment I saw the ballroom. -

The Omni Parker House was the perfect location for our classic Boston wedding. We worked with Alison to plan everything-- not only was she extremely responsive and helpful, but they worked with us A LOT to make the wedding more affordable while still making sure that we had everything we wanted. (Less dinner, more dancing :)) A couple of weeks before the wedding we had a number of changes-- we had guests drop out, we decided to add a slideshow during the reception in the foyer, etc. Alison took care of everything without issue. On the day of the wedding, the menus that I had created on zazzle (which zazzle messed up the first time) were delivered to my work address. At that point I told everyone not to worry about it-- it's just menus, everyone's going to eat, no big deal. Still, Alison arranged for a member of her staff to go down to my office and pick up the menus (luckily I work downtown.) I was also shocked because at the cocktail hour and reception there was a banquet manager there in addition to Alison. She introduced herself to us (I am so embarrassed to have forgotten her name) and was constantly tending to my husband and me. She overheard him say at the cocktail hour that he was trying to make his way over to get some lobster bisque, and seconds later was at his side with a cup of bisque, and a handful of the other hors d'oeuvres so that we didn't have to walk through the sea of guests to get to the food. She later spotted a guest at our table whose meal had not come out and literally went into the kitchen, got his dinner, and served him herself. EVERYTHING at the Omni went absolutely perfectly. I really couldn't believe it. Five stars and a perfect choice for your wedding! -

Our experience with the Omni Parker House was absolutely amazing. We knew we wanted a Boston wedding, so the Parker House was an obvious choice since it's so rich in both American and Boston history. In addition to the beautiful and classy setting, we were even more impressed by the flexibility with our wedding package, the responsiveness of our coordinator (as well as all of the other people we worked with throughout planning and our wedding day), and the ease with which we were able to plan such an important event. We just had our wedding in October and it was absolutely wonderful! The Omni Parker House is the perfect classic Boston hotel with the understated elegance we wanted for our wedding. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our sales manager, Jennifer Nicholson. She was so helpful and friendly and responsive and made the whole process such a pleasure. We were planning our wedding from New York so we needed all the help we could get. The food was delicious, the rest of the staff was friendly and professional, and we were thrilled with the whole experience! I recommend having the Boston Cream Pie instead of a cake :) -

We could not have selected a more perfect venue for our wedding. Having planned some weddings and other events at past jobs, it's an understatement to say I am quite particular about the quality and service of an event venue. The Parker House not only delivered but exceeded all expectations. Jennifer Nicholson, our sales manager, was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end--gracefully answering our many questions and ensuring everything was in perfect order and happened on the day-of. My husband(!) and our families have heard constantly since the wedding how amazing the food and service was (and I can't say this is the case at most weddings we attend.) Everyone from the bellhops to the servers (Mehidy is the best!) to the event staff made the experience so perfect. We cannot wait to celebrate anniversaries and other events here for years to come. -

We got married at the Omni Parker House May 17, 2014 and we want to thank everyone there for making our big day everything we could have ever imagined. Everyone was so friendly. Its been almost 3 months and we still have people telling me it was the most amazing wedding they have been too! They were very accommodating and helpful. The whole day went off without a hitch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. we would highly recommend getting married at the Omni Parker. This all happened so smoothly as a result of the unbelievable attention to detail Jennifer and her team had from the first time we saw the venue until Midnight on May 17th! Thank you all. -

The Omni is amazing! We could not have asked for a better wedding! Jennifer is beyond amazing and always very responsive and flexible! She even gave me her cell phone number the week of the wedding to make sure I was always in touch with her. I didnt use it, but its good to have during the crazy week before the wedding!! Even some of my hotel friends (who are usually VERY hard to please) said the filet was the BEST they ever had and the wedding was amazing! We are still getting comments about how fun the wedding was. We were nervous because the max capacity was 250 of the ballroom, but we only have about 100. They made those 100 look like the room was totally full. They can definitely accommodate all wedding sizes. Throughout the whole wedding someone was constantly coming over to make sure we were ok, to make sure we didnt need anything, and to make sure we were happy, which we always were! Love the Omni and we are so happy with our decision! -

My husband and I were married at the Omni Parker House this May. We always loved the property but still did our research and checked out almost every other hotel in the city of Boston and beyond. We kept coming back to the Omni for it's beautifully renovated ballroom with city views and the rich history the hotel has. It is the perfect representation of what Boston means to us, the new paired with the historic. Every single detail was handled with great care by Jennifer Nicholson. She was always quick to answer any questions and address any concerns (which I can honestly say we had few of). Everyone kept telling us "something is bound to always go wrong at a wedding, so don't be surprised". BUT it was the exact opposite. Jennifer and her team had it all figured out down to the last detail, making sure transportation was on time and guests knew where to go. Even bringing us food and champagne while my dress was being bustled. No wedding planner needed here, they take care of it all. We would give the Omni Parker House as well as Jennifer 10 stars if we could. We are beyond happy with every aspect of our wedding and wish we could relive it all again. I would recommend this hotel for guests as well as anyone looking for a perfect spot to celebrate a city wedding. -

Out of all the great hotels in Boston, we chose the Omni Parker House because no other place offered the service, the view, the location and the delicious food that this place offered. This was the very first venue we visited, and after seeing many more, we quickly decided this was the best. Jen Nicholson was absolutely amazing- she was so easy to work and always responded to emails right away. Since we planned our wedding out of state, there were many things in Boston that I was unfamiliar with, and she helped with everything. The ballroom where the reception was held was renovated over the winter and we were the first wedding there; I loved the ballroom before the renovation, and after the renovation, it was even more fabulous than I could imagine. The views are unparallaled, the food was so good, and our bridal suite and the parents' rooms were perfect. We got to do many of the things that grooms and brides always say they don't get to do at their weddings: ate our food, ate our cake, enjoyed our bridal suite, observed all the decor, and danced the night away. Thank you Jen and the entire Omni Parker House staff! -

Our wedding at Omni was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a classic, elegant, Boston wedding. The ballroom is amazing with a great view of the city. The service is incredible from everyone to our coordinator there to the waitstaff that served the food at the reception. And the food, oh boy! My wedding guests are still talking it - most saying they thought the cocktail hour was the meal there was so much food and of such great quality!
Our contact at Omni (Jen) was beyond helpful every step of the way. From the first time we met her (to view the ballroom and go over the package offerings at Omni) we felt completely taken care of and knew that she was truly dedicated to making our wedding special. She was very helpful in picking/choosing the things we wanted and that would stay in our budget. The prices are a little overwhelming but they are all includsive and they can be accommodated to any budget (i.e. we nixed a course and served just salad/entree, we nixed the champagne toast and wine served at the table in order for it to fit our budget). Each time we met with her I was greeted with a hug and she seemed to have just as much excitement about my wedding as I did. Even up to an hour before our wedding she was accommodating and attentive as I had emailed her on our drive from the church to Omni re: a table switch. When we got to cocktail hour, I was informed that the switch had been made, no questions asked.

We held our October wedding reception at the Omni Parker House, and we could not have picked a better venue. Everything about the venue, from the fabulous old hotel and beautiful rooftop ballroom to the professional staff and delcious food, was excellent. Alison, the wedding coordinator we worked with during the planning process, was invaluable. She was so pleasant to work with, and she was very responsive whenever I had questions, making excellent suggestions throughout the process and directing me to other people within the Omni Parker for things like hotel reservations for guests, etc. The bridal suite we had to get ready in was amazing, and the entire evening went perfect!!! -

I could not have asked for a more beautiful place for my wedding! Even though it was pricey, I fell in love with it from the moment I walked in, and it did not disappoint while planning and during the reception. Our coordinator, Jennifer, was awesome and so accommodating, I don't know if I could have gotten through it with out her! She was always easy to contact and quick to respond, even with last minute requests that might have been troublesome (adding guests, changing table sizes, etc). My husband and I just got married at the Omni and it was the best experience of our lives. Granted we've both never been married before, but it was so easy! Jennifer Nicholson and her staff were amazing -- I don't know how, but it all came together so elegantly and beautifully. Everyone was so flexible and easy to work with. Most importantly, the food was amazing. Thank you for making this the most memorable, fun night of our lives! -

A gorgeous wedding with unbelievable service. Everyone keeps talking about how spectacular it was, the beauty of the ballroom, how good the food is, and how the Parker House envelops the traditions of Boston. I still can't think of a more perfect place to have a wedding in this city. -

The Omni Parker House was exactly what I wanted in a wedding venue - a timeless venue that has the ability to transport its vistors back to "old Boston". We held our ceremony in the Press Room, and our reception in the roof top ballroom. This was the perfect location for a 200 guest event. The Press Room was absolutely gorgeous, and we were able to marry in front of a beautiful fireplace. We also had our rehersal dinner in one of their conference rooms, and brunch on Sunday morning in the Press Room.
I worked with Alison who helped me coordinate everything from day one - she was a life saver. It was great having her as a contact point for all of my crazy wedding related questions. She also helped me with things that I would never have thought of, and helped me schedule my whole day.
The food was WONDERFUL, the service was great. I felt incredibly well taken care of. I loved that the Omni and its staff worked so fluidly with my vendors, so that I didn't have to be a middle man anywhere. I was able to put this all together with the help of the Omni, and my vendors, without a wedding planner, which is huge!
The only complaint that I have, is that when I arrived on friday (my rehersal was at 5) - I was not able to check in early (as requested), and I actually had to wait almost a whole hour (check in was at 3, I was able to get to my room at 4). There was also a lot of confusion about where my room was, and often things were delivered to the wrong room.
In the large scheme of things, this was all very minor - but it did cause for some confusion and frustration. If I could do it all over again I would most certainly use the Omni Parker House, and I reccomend it to any other bride who is looking for a venue where they can get the whole package - food, drink, coordinator, multiple events, and hotel rooms. I had my winter wedding at the Omni Parker House and I couldnt have been happier. From the food to the way the venue was decorated--it was more than I could of ever wanted or dreamed of. Our guests are still ranting and raving how it was tge best wedding they had ever gone to. Of course, our hard work added to the beauty of the place but overall we were very happy with the way everything turned out!!! -

Wonderful!
We loved having our wedding at the Omni Parker House. We worked primarily with Richard, and also with Elaine who helped out as we approached our wedding, including the day itself. They were both very accommodating and understanding when we had questions or wanted to make changes. We went into our wedding day confident that they would both handle any issues that arose! The service we got from the Omni Parker House in general exceeded our expectations and was a big reason why we had the perfect wedding day. -

The Parker House hosted my wedding reception, our day after brunch, and MANY of our guests stayed at the hotel. The short review: our experience was SPECTACULAR. The long reivew:...
--Planning process: We knew we were looking for a downtown location for our wedding reception but after seeing -many- hotels we became doubtful that we would find a place that lived up to our standards and wasn't going to cost a fortune. When we toured The Parker House we absolutely fell in love with the ambiance and the friendly staff...and the gorgeous ballroom! The location was also precisely what we wanted. And the price was actually doable which was a total surprise. They even hosted us for a complimentary dinner at Parker's so we could try the food--we were ecstatic. The food is amazing! Their standard package comes with pretty much everything but the kitchen sink which is great but we were also able to customize it to meet our specific needs. Our wedding coordinator, Jennifer, was incredibly responsive during our engagement. I wouldn't call myself a "Bridezilla" but I was very organized, specific, and knew what I wanted. I sent her ALOT of emails and she never made me feel like I was harassing her or that I was crazy. She was very patient and also timely with her responses. She also offered great solutions to issues that came up. For instance, we were able to have both a suite for the girls to get ready in AND a great room for the guys as well. We also came in slightly under our minimum and instead of just offering to add more food, we added in a Day-After Brunch in a GORGEOUS conference room for all of our guests!
The Big Day: Its difficult for me to put into type how wonderful our wedding weekend was. Our rooms at the Parker House to get ready in were perfect: clean and picturesque and totally comfortable. They even brought us ice water and glasses all day. The hotel was stunning that day and provided a great backdrop for all of the photos. And the ballroom....completely stunning, a total dream. When I saw it with the flowers and uplighting for the first time I got so emotional. The team at the Parker House did a flawless job of executing my vision and of making the whole evening glamorous. One of the most important details for us was the food and it was mouth watering. Just the best wedding food I have ever tasted. From the passed apps to the delectable sea bass, it was SO good. They also perfectly executed our signature drinks (at no additional cost). My Groom, our parents, and I all had MANY guests come up to us and say it was honestly the best wedding they had ever been to.
The Evening: We hosted the after party at Parker's Bar which they were kind enough to keep open later than usual for us! We also pre-ordered pizza's to be delivered to the bar when we arrived and they were delish too. Our guests loooooved Parker's and had so much fun continuing the party down there. My new husband and I went to our suite after Parker's and it was lovely as well. They had champagne and chocolate stawberries waiting for us which was a thoughtful touch.
The Brunch: PERFECTION. Our parents were so incredibly grateful to have such a lovely way to say goodbye to all of the travelers. We had mostly out of town guests and they appreciated the breakfast and the chance to spend more time together. The food was up to the stellar standard they had set the night before as was the service. And they even used the leftover flowers from the reception to decorate. After the brunch, the valet staffed worked tirelessly to help us load everything into our cars.
The (very few) negatives: I did not appreciate at all that they charge $3.00 per room to deliver out of town guest bags. This is normally a simple thing that gets given to each guest at check in and their process seemed more confusing and it cost us over $100. When I asked about it they told me it was "a union issue". Even if thats the case, the hotel should absorb that cost and not pass it on to couples already spending SO much money. Its a cost of doing business. Secondly, our uplighting company offers a "confetti bomb" that we were very excited about. The Parker House told us that in order to have it we would have to pay $400 clean-up charge. That was too much so we had to nix it which was a bummer. Lastly, the price per hotel room was a problem for many of our guests. We totally understand that Fall in downtown Boston means expensive accommodations anywhere, but we were upset we couldn't get a rate anywhere $200 or less per room when we had so many rooms booked. As a result, we had guests at several hotels all over the place which made some other aspects more complicated.
Given the opportunity to plan my whole wedding over again, we would 100% choose The Omni Parker House again. Their excellent service, delicious food, amazing location, and STUNNING ballroom all made for the wedding of my dreams. Thank you to everyone there for making my experience as a Bride exceptional. -

The venue is historic and beautiful, the food was amazing, and we did the Boston Cream Pie as our wedding cake. The service was tremendous and professional. On the other hand, we paid for top shelf open bar and didn't get things (e.g. brands) we wanted. In fact, we got a lot of stuff I wouldn't consider "top shelf" and that was disappointing. Most everything went well, and the planners were great, but the billing also was a mess. We got charged via some credit card processing glitch and ended up being overcharged an additional $12,000 or so after the wedding. Stressful trying to clear it up before we left for the honeymoon (really needed that credit line) but we finally got it resolved. Ultimately, the place was great, the food and service far above average, and the downsides were few and relatively manageable. -

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding in a place that spoke of old world romance while keeping it modern and the Omni Parker was the perfect place for that. Our wedding was held right after Christmas so the decorations were still up and the huge Christmas tree on the roof top ballroom definitely made a wonderful warm holiday statement. The food was pretty good although I never got to taste 3 of the selected
hors d'oeuvres and that was a bit disappointing. Overall our wedding coordinator Alison did a great job capturing our vision however it did seem to take multiple emails to get a response on occasion. We also had guests from overseas cancel because of an illness in the family and also a impending snow storm and every time I emailed Alison seemed to avoid the question asked and bring up the fact that we needed more guests to make the minimum. This was pretty annoying since I was already stressed enough and it seemed all she cared about was the minimum spend.
The one star quality of service is due to the bartenders that night, I have had multiple guests tell me after the event how incredibly rude they were to guests the entire night. When you take the time and money to put together such a special event, the last comment you want to hear are complaints around being treated poorly by event staff. I will also say that the bartenders were even rude to me and when I asked his name he pointed to his name card and said "it's right here, you can read"...... This was at the very end of the night but I was pretty shocked, upset and did complain. I would say that unfortunately it was this experience that really made a wonderful night and what we wanted as wonderful memories a bit tainted but I would still recommend because the ball room is so beautiful and the food was pretty good. -

Well, the finished product was a very elegant, happy night. However, they were (in my opinion) dishonest with us when they told us the construction project would be completed before our wedding. The entire facade of the hotel was encased in ugly, dirty scaffolding. They made amends by discounting our costs, but it was a big disappointment. We enjoyed our night, but no photos were possible under the marquis, and our guests could not see out of their windows. -
