10/10 DJ - Highly Recommend!

Omega Sound & Entertainment came highly recommended to me from my wedding venue. And let me say they did not disappoint! David was great from the beginning with the booking process to get us exactly the service we needed. On our follow up right before the wedding we discussed general wants and a few specific songs. Each song was played at the reception and he even took on guest requests from songs that became anthems of the wedding weekend. He was an amazing MC as well helping with the flow of the wedding and also providing comedic commentary for the dancefloor. I would 100% recommend him and Omega for your event and wedding needs!

Great DJ service for your wedding!

Awesome dj that had guest dancing all night

David Manning with Omega Sound was just awesome. He provided everything we asked for and I don't think there was ever a time the dance floor was empty. Amazing night of fun. Would strongly recommend him

Fantastic company and djs! Highly recommend!

I wish I could leave Omega Sounds more than 5 stars! Kevin did a phenomenal job djing our wedding and keeping everyone on the dance floor all night! He was incredibly professional and fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend Kevin and Omega Sound if you're looking for a personable, easy to work with, and reliable company.

Perfect, fun

They made my special night as perfect as can be. They not only knew what vibe I was going for and played the perfect music, they also stayed on top of things and made sure we had time fire cake cutting and bouquet/garter toss! They were amazing!

Fantastic!

David was amazing! He knew just the right songs and timing to get people on the dance floor. I loved the interactive website where you can choose which songs you do and do not want to be played. I would definitely recommend him for all your DJ needs!

David storm with Omega Sound was the best decision I made while planning my wedding . He is such a nice, positive person to work with. He knows weddings very well, and understands the flow of the evening. It is easy to see that he loves music and loves his job. My husband and I requested a few songs and from that he was able to fill in the rest . All great songs, all perfectly timed throughout the evening. The dance floor was never empty . I hope that I get to plan another event in the future, so that we can hang out with him and listen to his tunes. I would definitely recommend him to my close friends and family. My wife and I always said, that the most important part of our wedding needed to be the music. I now know, that the most important part is the person playing that music. David and his team made our already special evening that much more. In what I would call a dream scenario, David gave Ashley and I a personalized pro wrestling promo while introducing our wedding party as well as ourselves. He worked hand in hand with us for weeks prior perfecting the feel and tunes we wanted for the wedding, and on the night of, executed it to perfection.

David and his team show the true meaning of hospitality and professionalism and I highly recommend this crew to play your wedding. You will not be disappointed.

I loved working with Omega Sound- they were helpful from the very start! They are super professional and have a ton of experience. From the first time I spoke to David over the phone, I felt comfortable right away and got a great feeling that he would do an excellent job at our wedding reception. He definitely delivered! Throughout the entire planning process, Omega Sound made it easy to create request lists with their online system, and any other questions or requests I had were taken care of over the phone. David even called me a couple days before the wedding to go over the reception timeline and requests and to make sure I was happy with everything. Our guests had an awesome time dancing and singing to crowd-pleaser songs; David knew exactly what to play, and also played our requested songs. He also did a phenomenal job emceeing the event. The transitions from the speeches, to cake cutting, to the last call were seamless. Omega Sound is very pleasant to work with, very professional, and very fun! Highly recommend!

David "Storm" Manning was so great to us! We got married on Nov. 12 at the Audubon Clubhouse Cafe and he was professional, thoughtful, and just so fun! He spent loads of time with me on the phone as we worked to get our set list just right and made very helpful suggestions as well as being willing to accommodate our limited budget. Music was very important to us for the wedding and he hit it out of the park. He even helped us coordinate our top secret "Blues Brothers" routine that came off just right and was a fun surprise for our friends and family. A++ all the way!

DJ Bo and David put on the party of our lives! They stuck to the majority of the playlist we requested and if they went off, played music that stayed in the general theme to keep everybody moving. They know what they are doing! The attendants at my venue said they had not had a crowd as fun as ours in awhile and I owe that to Omega Sound! If you want to leave your wedding feeling as though you have danced the night away and everyone has had the party of their lives, have Omega do your music! From the very first time I called the office to the very end of our wedding reception, everyone at Omega was extremely professional, nice, and focused on us (the bride and groom). I recommend them highly and if I ever need a DJ in the future, will be going directly to them! Thanks so much David and Bo!

I'm glad I decided to do a photo booth! Everyone loved it. Plus, It was nice to have some photos to look at soon after the wedding since photography photos take a lot longer. You get a nice photo album filled with prints and notes from your guest! I also received a disc with digital copies and a nice card!...I really loved working with Tammy. She made me feel special. I worked with plenty other vendors who were nice enough, but at the end of the day (and when the wedding was over), I was just another bride. Tammy went the extra mile for a more personable experience. The times that I spoke to her on the phone it was like I was talking to an old friend. And when things didn't go right with the DJ side of Omega, she was a shoulder to lean on and showed great compassion. She cared, and she didn't have to. She was a delight at the wedding as well; the guests loved her too! She made a point to socialize with them, rather than just quietly babysitting the booth. Thanks for everything, Tammy!

I went with Omega Sound & Entertainment for my reception because I had not only read great reviews about them, but I also heard it from people I know. DJ David "Storm" was awesome! I was able to communicate with him ideas that I had, and he was always on the same page as me, and willing to make those ideas happen at the reception. The dance floor was never empty because people were having such a great time. I am still having people tell me that it's the most fun they have ever had at a wedding reception! We can't thank David enough for helping keep the party going! By the way, they also provided beautiful uplighting and a custom logo projected on the floor called a "gobo" which both looked amazing! I highly recommend Omega Sound & Entertainment to anyone who is looking to have a great time with lots of dancing at their reception! :)

Dj Rusty and Dj David made our reception perfect! I mean perfect!!!!

David held a beautiful, sweet ceremony for us mixed with tears and laughter. Then transitioned flawlessly to our DJ to get the party started. I was a little weary of having my DJ as my officiant but it worked out perfectly. David wears both hats very well. Party was rocking, ceremony was touching.

I can HIGHLY recommend Omega for your wedding music needs. My personal touch at the wedding was the music, and I had a very specific idea of what I wanted. After all, the music creates the mood for the entire night. The online form they use to request songs is very efficient, and they were willing and able to find a few very random songs that weren’t in their database.
On the day of the wedding, everything went how I pictured. Every song that I wanted played was played at the exact time I wanted it. Rusty kept things fun and everything went very smoothly. He even got the crowd cheering when he grabbed the mic and performed Uptown Funk! You wont be disappointed.

Omega Sound really brought our wedding to life. David Storm was great. He kept everyone on the dance floor, was super nice and had lots of energy. He even sang a song or two and had the audience sing along on the microphone with him. His website featured a mock wedding which was really helpful to get an idea of what the DJ would sound like on our wedding day. The web portal made it easy to select music for our big day. He was accommodating to our guest with special request songs and helped us pull off our bridal party flash mob.

I do t even know where to begin... Omega was the best decision I ever made! The lighting was stunning and the gobo was way better then I expected! The online planning was easy and fun! Tammy went WAY beyond to help me with everything from recommending vendors, helping with music and decor, to just making me feel important! The DJ was so fun and did an amazing job! We were assigned to DJ Chad. He was professional and well-spoken. Our guests had fun. I had many songs on my 'do not play' list and Chad stuck to it. I know for a fact that at least one song on the 'do not play' list was requested. He took requests and kept our guests excited. Omega Sound's website was very easy to use. I made regular online payments. I also really liked their online timeline and song request service. It was easy to use and really made me think about what music I did and didn't want to hear. Everything went very smoothly.

There aren't enough words to describe the experience David Storm and Omega Sound and Entertainment created for our destination wedding at The Galvez Restaurant in The French Quarter. All of our guests commented on the fantastic musical selections that kept all of our guests dancing and the gorgeous lighting that set the mood. David kept the night flowing well with his professional but easy style on the mic as well. His attention to detail was second to none and every wedding would be lucky to have him at their wedding.

We would be more than confident to recommend Omega to any type of event, anywhere, for any budget. We'd give anything to go back and relive the party Omega helped create for us.

Omega Sound and Entertainment was our #1 choice for our wedding. Our preferred DJ (the groom's friend) was unavailable for our date, we were sad, but still convinced we wanted Omega.

We were assured the DJ available, Kevin Martino, was a top notch DJ. We were excited to find out Kevin was willing to travel 5 hours from New Orleans to Shreveport, without charging us a travel fee. Instead of paying a travel fee, the company requested we pay for two nights for a hotel, which was fine. We were just glad we didn't have to pay a travel fee on top of that.

The wireless audio system that was hooked up during the ceremony worked out perfectly, even though the ceremony space was down the hill from the reception space, where the DJ had all of his gear. The audio was clean with no interference, which allowed our guests to be able to hear and enjoy what was happening during the ceremony.

During the reception, Kevin was top-notch. Having a really great dance floor was one of the groom's number 1 requests, and Kevin had no trouble keeping the dance floor full. He even played a salsa song as a special request from my hispanic family.

My only complaint is a few things were skipped over when the DJ was announcing the different events, like my sorority song presentation, the groom's cake cutting, my maid of honor and matron of honor speeches ... which had me running over last minute to the DJ table to let him know. Now, full disclosure, that issue may be my groom's fault for not including it in the timeline that was submitted to the DJ, or the best man's fault for not hand delivering my timeline to the DJ. No idea.

Either way, the DJ was quick to announce what I requested him to.

Overall Kevin did a fine job of keeping the party going.
I've been to more than 100 weddings as a wedding videographer and I'd have to say Kevin's work at my wedding was excellent compared to the dozens of work I've seen other DJ's do at weddings.

Omega Sound and Chad made our reception a memorable event. Chad was wonderful, he introduced himself to us, to let us know if there was anything we needed to please let us know. By the time Kevin called to confirm and go over our DJ needs, I was totally frazzled. I had serious decision fatigue and just gave vague requirements for what we needed. I was over making any decisions, but Kevin was a total pro. At our reception, he BROUGHT IT. Everyone was out on the dance floor (I was scared we'd end up having a reception where no one danced) and had a great time. He kept us on track, even though I refused to throw my bouquet or a garter. He was great. I can not say enough good things about this guy.

The DJ for our wedding was Chad P. He was WONDERFUL! Everyone had a great time-- people were up and dancing the entire reception. He was really interactive with the crowd, and I loved how he would move around the dance floor instead of staying behind his equipment. We had over 175 people at our wedding, and everyone we have talked to has said how great our DJ was. I am so glad that I chose Omega Sound, especially Chad P, to be our DJ for our reception. He had great ideas for our reception and was so accommodating. I could not ask for more!

It's true what they say... the only thing your guests will remember is the fun they had dancing (not the food or your gown) so definitely spend your money and efforts with the entertainment. The staff at Omega was professional and I am SO thankful to have been able to book them. Everyone I was in contact with was helpful and never acted bothered by our questions (thanks tammy!). Kevin did an excellent job with the entertainment at my wedding! You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does and that makes a big difference. Thanks Kevin and Omega!

An awesome playlist can definitely set the tone at a wedding. And “DJ Kra-Z” Kevin Martino killed it! He had 175 crazy people on their feet for hours, dancing and cheering. Across the board, the Omega folks were easy to work with and quick to respond. Kevin called us a few days before the wedding to discuss what type of music we like, as well as songs that should not be played. He did a fantastic job reading people and playing music that kept people of differing ages happy. From the first dance to the "best wishes" dance and the amazing last song that had everyone screaming at the top of their lungs, we could not compliment him enough. He definitely amped up the energy among the guests, which came in handy for the post-wedding second line. If you want the dance floor crowded all night, don't hesitate to hire Omega Sound and especially DJ Kevin for your wedding!

I highly recommend Omega Sound & Entertainment for your next function. I used them for my daughter's wedding recently. GREAT JOB!!! Ricky the D.J. was fantastic and did an awesome job remixing the father/daughter music for my husband's and daughter's first dance!! Everyone that attended the reception had nothing but good things to say about the reception and it greatly due in part to the D.J. - everyone enjoyed the "special" dances i.e. anniversary dance, money dance. David was a pleasure to work with also and his choice of lighting for the reception hall was spot on!! Rusty was the DJ for our wedding, and we absolutely loved him! He did such a great job of mixing New Orleans music with current pop music. Everyone was dancing within the first half hour of the reception! He was incredibly professional and super responsive the entire time we dealt with him. He was also really knowledgeable and was able to adapt to all of the weather challenges of the day! We appreciate what a great job you did, and were so lucky to have you as part of our wedding. AMAZING! We worked with Chad Pierce from Omega and he was absolutely fabulous! We received so many compliments about how wonderful our DJ was. We had hired a jazz band for our wedding and, come to find out, the main singer had been sick for sometime and no one had bothered to tell us. I was so upset that no one had communicated this development to me that I did not even want them to play the live song for my father-daughter dance. Chad was ready and willing to jump in and he had even ensured that he had my backup song on stand by. Also.... I had tasked my fiancé with the job of creating our playlist ---- big mistake. Chad re-opened our website options for me two days before my wedding so that I could completely start over. He was really more accommodating then any vendor I worked with throughout the entire wedding-planning process. Chad worked the crowd and was highly the main reason our guests were on the dance floor. It couldn't have been a more fun night for my husband and I ... and Chad was such a contribution to the fantastic time that we shared with our guests. I highly recommend him, he's an all-around great guy!

Chad P from Omega Sounds was AMAZING! He called me the week before to make sure everything was right and that we were on the same page. He cut my processional song PERFECTLY. Everyone had a blast at the reception and I'm still receiving compliments on how great he was. He was fun, energetic, and really got the crowd going. A bad DJ can definitely ruin a reception, but Chad P was fantastic. I highly recommend him and Omega Sounds!

Kevin with Omega Sound DJs did our wedding. We had a DIY backyard wedding for 200 people and our DJ did an amazing job, not only with the music but also with keeping us on schedule! He acted as my wedding planner the day of! I am so appreciative of the great job he did. Also, our goal was to keep people dancing and having fun all night and he certainly made that happen!! He even got out on the dance floor with us to teach us some of the dances and he had us laughing at every event. He was able to really read the crowd and played music that kept everyone happy. I will recommend this company and Kevin to everyone who asks about DJ services. You will NOT regret using them!

Rusty and David were great to work with. They accommodated all of our wants and made everything very personal for us. Rusty paid attention to when things were slowing down and picked up the pace. We had a great time and so did all of our guests.

Chad Pierce with Omega Sound & Entertainment was the DJ for my wedding. From the start, Chad's professionalism and the ease of picking music on their website gave me the confidence I needed to plan my music and move on to the other details necessary to planning a wedding. Chad communicated with me to ensure I was aware of the possibilities and options available with music and lighting. My family and friends had a wonderful time dancing and cutting up on the dance floor. It was definitely a memorable and fun night thanks to Chad! Extremely happy with Kevin. My mom loved that he kept us on track of when to do the dances, cake, and tosses. Made the wedding stress free since we were doing it our own. Was extremely friendly to all of our guest when requesting songs and to my friends little sister who actually sand the song for me to walk down the aisle. He even had my husband out on the dance floor for a little bit, which I did not expect to happen. I would highly recommend Kevin to everyone I know. He choose a great selection of music for the reception after only talking to him for a few minutes the night or two before the wedding. All my guests told me how great it was and that it was the best wedding they have been to.

Kevin Martino of Omega Sound was exceptional! He goes above and beyond in making sure the music agrees to the occasion and that the merriment continuously flows throughout the night. We were impressed by how Kevin took the time to meet with us and understand our music selections and the kind of mood and vibe we wanted for the ceremony and reception. Everything went as planned. In fact, it was all better than we could have imagined. Our guests had so much fun and so did we. Kevin was also an excellent MC. He presented the wedding party and made announcements to the guests. He had great spirit and humor, but his personality never overtook the party. Kevin really cares that everyone is having fun and takes great care in his responsibilities. We felt as though we had more than a DJ - that we had an entertainment consultant and manager. For this kind of service and talent, we felt the price we paid to be very fair and worth every penny! We highly recommend Kevin and Omega Sound to anyone for any occasion!

Omega Sound & Entertainment provide great, quality service! Kevin did a fantastic job at our wedding. He worked with us to make sure every detail we wanted was in place. We were very specific about certain songs at certain times and he did it all without a hiccup! The uplighting provided by Omega was PERFECT! Their pricing is more than fair for a quality that is high. I'd recommend Omega, and Kevin, to anyone getting married in New Orleans!

Shaun and I are grateful for Kevin to work with us for our special day. He came through with great music, and a really narly light projection that made our event most unique. But best of all, he kept the event within a timeline we aggreed upon, and sort of acted as the on-site coordinator, working with the venue and the photography to insure nothing was missed or skipped over. Kevin's DJ skills were vocalized by some of my guests as "exceptional".......this describes by entire impression of Kevin and his professionalism.

Pat and I were married in Bay St. Louis, so it was already really cool that Omega would travel that far on a Friday. Kevin was our guy, and that night he was a phenom. He had no resistence to playing what we asked, and he even thanked everyone for showing "the most memorable wedding party" he had seen in a long time. Well, Kevin, you made it the most eventful party we've ever been to. Thanks for working with us, and thanks for playing Holiday from Madonna......the whole thing was phenominal.

We came from Cali to New Orleans to get married, and Kevin with Omega had our company fitting in like they lived in the Big Easy for a long time. He was professional on the phone with us, then really worked well within our reception to have our guests enjoying their afternoon. He smiled the whole time, and was having so much fun doing his job that he seemed like he was part of our crazy family. He even got out on the dance floor and gave step-by-step instructions to dance the harlem shuffle....what a memorable moment. Thanks, Kevin, for an amazing contribution to our big day.

Kevin was really easy to work with. He made our ceremony music sound so beautiful, and then at the reception, he was above and beyond. My husband Cody and I discovered Omega at a bridal show in New Orleans. Kevin was our dj, and he was great. We chose to add some uplights to our venue, and Kevin's setup could not have been imagined more beautifully. The dance floor was packed nearly all night, and Kevin's energy was infectious. Great on the mic, he was showing us some line dances, and his music selection seemed fitting everytime the songs changed. I really enjoyed my experience with Omega and with Kevin.

For our wedding, Kevin was fantastic! Omega allowed Locke and I to access our own online wedding planner, where we were able to input all of our requests. Kevin talked with us the week of, insuring that we would all be envisioning the same ideas for our reception. From there, he really nailed it....in fact, his total flow made the time go by so fast, that we didnt want the night to end. He was enthused to be partying with all of us. Out of all my vendors, Omega was defintely the best bang for the buck.

We were so pleased we were able to have Chad Pierce of Omega Sounds to do our wedding. He called us a couple of times before the wedding to confirm all my music requests and review our timeline so everything would be just perfect. I'm really into music, so it was great to have someone like Chad to understand want type of vibe I wanted at our wedding! He even downloaded one of the songs I wanted from iTunes for my ceremony. He was very professional and very personable as well. He was also great at the day of the wedding! Chad was easy-going, had a great sense of humor, helpful at reminding us which event was next, had great energy and knew what music to play to entertain everyone at the appropriate time. Chad made our special day amazing!! I would highly recommend him!

We had a great experience with our DJ, Chad, from Omega Sound. He called a week beforehand to discuss what we were looking for, which I appreciated. We also had a few song requests that weren't in the music library, so he acquired those songs for us before the wedding. During the reception, Chad kept everyone dancing and we all had a great time. He also stuck to the schedule perfectly and checked in with us a few times through the night to make sure everything was going smoothly. Definitely recommend!

My now husband and I LOVE music .. and we love to dance. So we knew we definitely had to have a DJ vs. a live band. We also knew what kind of music we wanted. Late 90's, early 2000's hip hop & r&b. We knew it was probably not easy to find a DJ that had all the songs we were looking for but with Omega we were able to make that happen. Rusty was a great DJ and kept the dance floor packed! We were married at The Chicory and were unsure about the blue up lighting but they convinced us and we were so happy they did. It made the space glow and gave it an even more intimate feel. So happy we went with Omega!!

We cannot say enough good things about DJ Chad P from Omega Sound & Entertainment! He was professional, organized, flexible, funny, detailed and SO MUCH FUN! We and all our guests had a blast! Our music tastes are all over the map and he played everything we liked and kept our guests dancing and our dance floor packed all night long! We even missed a set of the groom's favorite songs while we were taking photos and he played the songs again just for him. There were definitely a lot of firsts at our wedding and some Louisiana vs Ohio rivalries and he had fun with that and so did we! Everything about our experience with Omega Sound & Chad P was awesome. I loved the online planning service. It makes it so easy to select songs and lay out a timeline. DJ Chad P checked in with us a couple of weeks before to get our likes and dislikes and see how we wanted the night to go and it couldn't have been anymore perfect for us! We loved the song selection and he truly helped make our wedding the best party ever! Would absolutely recommend DJ Chad P and Omega Sound to anyone!! Omega Sound - First let me say that setting everything up with Omega was lovely! Christina called me back and was kind enough to talk to me for about 45 minutes to answer all of my questions. Our DJ was Kevin Martino. He was AWESOME!!. He called a couple weeks before the wedding to discuss any specific songs that we needed, and then I spoke to him the day before to finalize the song choices and specific things that we did not want to hear (which can be almost as important as things you want to hear). He spent lots of time on the phone with me and listened to all of my suggestions and concerns and totally understood the sort of vibe we were going for (we just wanted everyone to dance and have fun!). He was amazing. He made sure to get the songs that I wanted that he did not have beforehand, and played everything we wanted to hear (even Poison by Bel Biv Devoe). He kept the energy up all night and made sure everyone had an amazing time. We could not have asked for anyone more perfect to DJ our wedding - it was amazing and Omega Sound and specifically Kevin Martino were amazing!!! He would be an asset to any wedding and I promise you will not be disappointed!!

My husband and I hired Omega Sound and Entertainment for our reception and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Our DJ, Kevin, took the time to find out our musical style was and what type of party we wanted to throw. He kept our guest dancing all night, with everyone wanting to keep the party going by the end of it all. Omega Sound Productions were a fantastic company to work with! David Storm was the DJ for our wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He worked so hard to create the perfect reception just for us! We asked him to create a special intro for when we were introduced to our family and he did an amazing job and more so, he created a special Father Daughter Song Mash-up for my father and I to do a surprise dance to (we shocked EVERYONE!) David Storm was incredibly detail oriented and attentive to our needs. He always answered the phone or email if I had a question and I wouldn't hesitate one bit to reccommend him to any bride considering using him as a DJ! Kevin and David are just awesome guys in general. They strive to make the bride and groom happy and worry free. Kevin had our entire room on the dance floor and everyone had a blast. Chad Pierce was the DJ at my wedding. He did a phenomenal job meeting our music choice needs, and keeping our guests dancing through out the entire night. He really felt out the crowd, and because of that there wasn't a moment the dance floor was empty. My wedding was in early march, and to this day my guests continue to tell me how great of time they had! One of my guests even expressed to me that she b. " hasn't danced like that since her younger days."
He really helped make my wedding the most incredibly fun Night of my life. I highly suggest his DJ services to any and every bride.

We had Rusty DJ our wedding and it couldn't have gone better! He was fantastic and had everyone dancing and he even sang a few songs. He did a tremendous job and I have to say I was skeptical at first because I'm an out of town bride and had to choose my vendors by reviews online...but I'm glad I did! Kevin Martino was the DJ for our wedding in March 2012. We can't say enough good things about him. He was easy to work with and I had no problem getting in contact with him before the event for initial planning and last minute questions. He also worked seamlessly with the venue's personnel. During our reception, he was entertaining and engaged the crowd perfectly. He had no problem handling all different types of music requests from our guests, and he even got on the dance floor to personally teach us the Wobble! We had lots of compliments from our guests then and now about how much they enjoyed the DJ, and at least one of our guests has booked him for her wedding this spring. We had an absolutely fabulous time at our wedding. The DJ was probably one of the most important aspects of our wedding, besides the photographer, so we wanted to make sure we made a good choice. Boy, did we ever! Kevin Martino was our DJ, and he called a few weeks before the wedding to finalize any details - very friendly guy and attentive to all your needs. I gave him full reign over feeling out the crowd and picking music to fit the mood, and he ran with it. It was non-stop energy all night and not a song was misplaced or odd. Our guests LOVED it and they were never off the floor dancing. We have gotten so many compliments since our wedding, and all mention the fabulous DJ.

Hey David!! We want to thank you sooooooooo much for helping to create the best wedding reception ever!!!!!!!! All of our friends are still talking about what a great time they had and how amazing you were! They also loves that you have a website where they were able to request in advance music for the wedding. This was a blast for my family that came from pther countries. We've been to a bunch of wedding receptions and this one just felt like no other, as far as people actually getting out and having a good time and that credit definitely goes to you and Rusty. The variety of music, the interaction with the crowd, keeping the flow going of the reception....honestly we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.... We had Chad for our DJ after dinner, and he was amazing. He called the week before to hash out the details. Omega uses an online website to provide the timeline and song requests that is extremely useful. Chad set-up at our reception site early so avoid getting in the way of our guests and even played our first dance song before he was scheduled to start the night. He was extremely professional throughout the night. Could not have asked for a better DJ! Thank you Chad!!

DJ Storm was very attentive, responsive, and respectful of our plans for our wedding reception. He had great suggestions regarding the sequence of events. Thanks to his upbeat attitude and high energy level, we had people on the dance floor the entire night!

At the reception, David was AWESOME!!! He had called me the day before the wedding to go over everything, but still made sure he double-checked our requests with us before our introductions at the reception. H and I are pretty picky about music, and David did not disappoint! He played the songs that we really wanted, and also mixed in enough other songs that we didn't always know what was coming next. Once the dance floor opened up for good, we were all up there the whole time! David made the night even better by announcing things that I had not even thought of. For example, when it was time to do the toasts, he announced the fact that we had a signature drink that would be used for the toast, and explained what it was and what was in it. In lieu of a wedding cake, we had Bananas Foster for dessert. David made an announcement when it was dessert time, giving everyone a history of Bananas Foster and it's connection to New Orleans. Love, Love, Love David. I only wish we lived in New Orleans so that we could have another party and have him DJ it!!

Loved loved loved our DJ! David was fantastic. They have a very user friendly & helpful website where you can pick all of your music. He responds very quickly to emails. He didn't mind answering any questions we had & helping us with suggestions. There were a few songs that we wanted that he didn't have & he made sure we had them at our reception. He sings along to some of the songs (but not in an interfering way). He will get out on the floor & lead the line dances. He quickly learns his crowd & knows what to play & when. At the end of the reception, he gave us a cd with our introduction and about 10 other songs that were important moments at our reception.
I could go on and on. We couldn't have asked for a better dj.

Mark Steel was our DJ. We didn’t have any special requests for music. We asked him to play music that will get people on the dance floor. He chose a perfect combination of tunes and everyone was dancing thought the reception. He even danced with us!

David from Omgea Sound was our DJ. He did an amazing job! Even when I freaked out because I thought he was starting the music to soon he knew everything that was going on and it was PERFECT!!! All night he kept making sure I was happy! :) GREAT JOB DAVID!

DJ Chad was totally fantastic for our wedding. He checked in on us in the days/weeks before the wedding, and truly listened to us. He used the songs we requested, but also got a feel for the crowd and really catered to them. He kept them energized the entire time and was funny and personable. He was also great when it came to being organized and with the setup of our room. Entertainment was really important to us, and he rocked it the entire time! DJ Chad gave us everything we were looking for and more. We would definitely reccomend Omega Sound & Entertainment for future events!

As an out-of-town bride, I was so nervous about selecting a DJ for our outdoor wedding. Music is truly the fabric of our lives and it was important to us that any music played that evening was truly reflective of us. Kevin was our DJ and everyone loved his skills! He kept the party going and was excellent on announcements. He even advised me to trick all the single ladies during the bouquet toss...lol! After reading several promising reviews, we hired DJ David Manning to perform our destination wedding in New Orleans. As with all of our vendors, we really needed someone who would work remotely with us to fine tune the details of our wedding and David definitely delivered. He was flexible in allowing us to alter the start/stop time a few times throughout the process, and was very responsive in answering all of our questions.

Probably most importantly, being the obsessive bride, I had created a full time line of the entire event, but didn't necessarily want to follow it to a "T", I more just wanted someone to be able to transition smooth into all of the intros, first dance, etc plus some additional special requests we had. Two days before the wedding David got on a long call with us to go over the timeline we had created and was very sweet in adding some comments and making some suggestions to ensure things ran smoothly. And they did! It was perfect, David did an amazing job of cramming in all of our requests for special dedications etc in a very natural and easy manner. Perhaps the best of all, you cannot beat the value. We searched high and low and got numerous quotes, Omega Sound was the best priced and we were very pleased with the service.

We got lots of compliments about our DJ. He played a great mix of music and went through all the dances and speeches and events of the reception perfectly. He even took pictures with his wife in our photobooth!! The only glitch we had was when we booked them, I sent in our contract and the lady I had originally talked to about booking no longer worked there so none of the emails I sent were getting to anyone. So I had to make a request through their website to make sure my contract had gotten to them. Other than that, they were spectacular.

DJ Rusty was fantastic at reading the crowd. There were no bad song choices. My parents and I received many compliments on our music choices, but what really made a difference was the order songs were played in. Prior to our wedding day, we were contacted with simple last minute questions and we were able to do the same. Would recommend Omega due to professionalism and quality.

After initially considering and reviewing local bands around New Orleans, we decided to go with a DJ for our March 2013 wedding. And after research on local DJs we were most impressed with Omega (their website and customer service especially). For our wedding we had 5 parts that required music (pre-ceremony; ceremony; cocktails; dinner; reception) -- and we needed Omega to oversee all 5 parts in both an outdoor and indoor area at the Board of Trade venue.

After much planning and exchanging of emails with our DJ, he executed the plan perfectly. We would recommend Omega without reservations -- amazing experience and an amazing night.

Chad was perfect! I am very type "A" and I was so worried about having a dj. I wanted someone who was fun but not over the top ridiculous. Chad was the perfect blend of everything we needed. He really helped make our night special and low stress! I highly recommend him.

We recently used Omega Sound for our wedding DJ and so glad we did! Kevin did both the music for our ceremony and reception and did a fantastic job! He was very helpful and professional during the setup process and just did an outstanding job for our wedding! The DJ was very nice and wanted very hard to see everyone have a good time. That said, he did take too many requests from my sister, the MOH-- some of which were inappropriate. We heard less than half of the, "must play," and, "play if you can list," that we created and agonized over for months. Being, "older," we were concerned that hiring a DJ could potentially make our wedding feel like Prom 2.0. For this reason, we made sure to submit our requested lists. Furthermore, I spoke with the DJ before the dance reception and specifically requested that if he play any hip-hop or rap music, please only do so after my grandparents have left. Despite all of our requests and precautions, he still played the following songs-- none of which were requested by us on our, "Must play," or "Play if you can," list: Zoot Suit Riot, Michael Buble's Save the Last Dance for Me, Grease Megamix, Let's Hear It For The Boy, and Baby Got Back. These songs might be ideal for every other wedding, but had he looked at our request lists he would have noticed we were not normal people wanting a normal wedding. We requested a lot more oldies and New Orleans jazz and zydeco songs to give our guests a fun dance experience and local flavor. I felt like I was at prom in 2001. To make matters worse, our dance floor was empty at times so I had to specifically remind him of songs on our list and find them with him on the computer. When our requested songs played, like magic, the floor had people on it again!
About Baby Got Back: I didn't request it on any list as a precaution because of the lyrics. My sister requested it and being the nice guy that he is, he decided to play it; oblivious to my grandparents sitting right by the DJ table. It was a painfully awkward moment. You can't cut loose and have fun and shout along to the lyrics, "My anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hon'," with conservative grandparents glaring at you.

Was a great DJ, but didn't play half of the songs we put on the must play list. They ask you to make timeline for reception and I had no clue what to do since I have never been married. Money dance was at very end after everyone left, so didn't make hardly any money.

Omega Sound and Entertainment ended up being a really good choice for our wedding ceremony and reception! There were a few bumps in the road to get to the final product, but in the end the final product was perfect and really brought everything together for our big (and happy) day!

The bumps first… communication was “spotty” at best. After reading reviews and seeing that we could more or less “guide” our playlist via the internet we decided to go with this Dj service. We filled out the online information, and even paid the deposit to confirm our date (important since we were 6 months or less from the big day!).

While we did receive the automated, payment received and date booked, we never received a confirmation from anyone within the company (as promised by the automated response). In fact, it took a little over 2 weeks to hear back, and that was after a message complaint via facebook.

From there, we completed our play list, ceremony selections, etc. About 2 weeks prior to the wedding, we reach out to the DJ (and others) to do final confirmations before the wedding. Again, no response. It took a few phone calls but we finally got through (we had to call them!) and get confirmations for all the music info… literally 2 days before our wedding!

However, in the end they were set up and ready by time we arrive. Each part of the ceremony was spot on and beautiful. The reception was a lot of fun, and the DJ wasn’t over the top with it. He announced us into the room, the dances/toast to follow, and played great music all night to keep people on their feet. Little slow in communication, but provided an outstanding service overall!
