Los Amigos Mexican Trio was outstanding! They played at my church wedding ceremony. They were everything you would expect from a professional group and more. They were early, played beautiful music, and were all around great to work with. Everyone at my ceremony was in awe of their talent. I highly recommend Los Amigos to play at any event, they will make it extra special and entertaining!

Omar did an AMAZING job on our ceremony music!!! It was absolutely beautiful! I have to admit that the ceremony music was the one thing that we didn't plan too far ahead on, and we were able to book him within only a couple weeks before our wedding!!! He was soo nice about it and was very responsive and quick about it! Honestly, we didn't even have a chance to meet with him before the wedding (scary I know), but we didn't even need to! We were able to see a few of his videos before we called him and just seeing those was enough! I talked with him and he sent me his music list of what he could play. We just picked all of our songs and sent them to him and that was it! He showed up with plenty of time to set up and was ready to go! We have zero complaints! He played so beautifully and even being a Catholic church ceremony he knew exactly what to do and when to play each song. HIGHLY recommend him!!!

Omar was a gift... His wonderful music will haunt us forever. He learned two songs for our wedding and played them flawlessly and on cue. He set up ahead of time so that he was ready to go for his start time. His selection of music and the way he played his guitar so beautifully allowed people to relax and enjoy the wedding. He was extremely polite, and had an overall wonderful presence. His talent is admirable and we couldn't have been happier with our guitarist. I recommend no one else but Omar.

Omar performed at our ceremony in the church and at the reception site; needless to say he "made" the event! He was so personable, friendly and went out of his way to play music that really captured our family! The elderly family members were so thrilled and surprised that he knew music from the "good ol' days," and Omar is also versatile in learning contemporary music as well! He is a very nice and VERY talented man and we look forward to using his services in the future!

Omar was so great to work with. He was very responsive and even learned a few new songs just for our wedding. The music he provided really did make our wedding and we so appreciate his flexibility in working with us.

Omar was outstanding! Perfect for an intimate setting. He really made our ceremony memorable. He is an extremely talented guitarist and vocalist. We also hired him to play after our ceremony for the cocktail hour at La Fonda. Our guest commented that he was remarkable.

Omar was excellent. I contacted him two days before our wedding/elopement on a whim. I wanted him to play a first dance song (Joshua Radin's, "Today") at the Rio Grande Bosque around sunset. He didn't know the song "Today," but learned it and played it very well in just TWO days! He sent me a vast play list of songs he could play. He was very flexible, reasonably priced, punctual, well-dressed, sweet and talented! If you want to add something extra special to your day/party/event - even if just for an hour, I highly recommend Omar. He is top notch!

WOW!! Omar played "Marry Me" by Train so well along with all the other songs. My husband had nothing but amazing comments after the ceremony. Omar truly made our ceremony that much more special and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!! Very professional, responsive, and on time :)!

While planning a destination wedding for my sister and her fiancé, I came upon many wonderful reviews for Omar Villanueva of Villanueva Entertainment and contacted him to see if he'd be willing to provide guitar music for our wedding & reception event in Taos. From beginning to end Omar was extremely professional, worked with us to bring to life the vision we had for the day and was so helpful in keeping within our budget for the event! He was even willing to learn two special songs for the day including "Marry Me" by Train which is not an easy song at all and "Blue Skies" as a special treat for our 95 year old grandmother; both songs were so lovely! He also did guest requests the night of the event! Our guests could not say enough about how much they enjoyed the music provided both for the wedding and the reception dinner. Omar arrived early on the day of the event and made everything as easy can be for us! We highly recommend Omar Villanueva for any special event and our only complaint is that we live 1200 miles away and can only wish we were closer so we'd be able to enjoy his music on a regular basis! Thank you Omar for your talent, time and warm hearted spirit!

Omar did a fantastic job at our wedding. We had 1/2 of the guests from NY and Boston, and the other half from Mexico. Both groups commented on what a great addition he was. Omar played during our dinner and we only wish he could have stayed longer.

My husband and I loved having Los Amigos play at our Wedding Ceremony. The music they played was absolutely amazing and exactly what we wanted. Omar is very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Los Amigos for anyone looking for a professional, experienced group to play at their wedding or any other event. We will defintly be using them again.

Omar was great from beginning to end! I was planning our wedding from across the country and we were able to do everything over phone and email. He was very helpful. We didn't meet until the day of the wedding but everything went perfectly. Omar's music added so much to our ceremony - it was beautiful!!

I was blown away with how beautiful his music was in person. Not only that, he was dressed and carried himself like a true professional. His rates were very fair, and I would recommend him to anyone who seeks a very skilled guitarist for their event.

Omar Villanueva and his group made our wedding ceremony so beautiful with their harmonizing voices and beautiful guitar. Omar was very professional throughout the entire process. Omar was terrific at our wedding in Corrales!!! He responded immediately for any questions or concerns I had for wedding music. He also collaborated with my step mother on wedding music at the last minute, by sending her a recorded cd of a song so she could sing a specific song at the wedding. (Not to mention he had to memorize all the chords for a new song.) He was so professional and all of our wedding guests complemented my husband and I on the choice of music and Omar. Will most definitely be asking Omar to perform again at a function soon. The music he provided was so beautiful and made our wedding day even more special!!!

We could NOT have been any happier with Omar and his beautiful music. He plays with passion and grace. I know of no one that plays better. Additionally, he was professional and accommodating; a true pleasure to work with.
I cannot say enough great things about Omar in this short space. Rest assured that should the need arise, we would hire him again in a heartbeat. He is great at what he does and he gets our highest recommendation.

We had such a great experience working with Omar! He worked with us while we were living in Pennsylvania and planning our wedding in New Mexico. He always responded promptly to any questions we had and when we got back to New Mexico he met with us and played live for us so we could choose our songs!He only had to play one song and we trusted him completely to choose a selection of appropriate songs for our reception!He really made our day special!This was really the easiest decision we made for our wedding day!

Omar played for both our wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour/dinner at the reception. He sounded amazing. When they opened the doors at the church for me to walk down the aisle his music sounded absolutely beautiful. He is such a great guitarist!

Omar is a talented young man who added a great level of subtle ambience to our ceremony. We wanted to have a small, intimate wedding with a simple but elegant theme. Omar's performance helped us achieve that goal and we appreciated his contribution to helping make our wedding as special as we hoped. Great guy too.

Omar and his band were fantastic at our wedding. They performed at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Because I was planning from out of town, I was only able to hear his music from his presence online. It was enough to sell me, but for those that might need more, I would recommend catching one of their local performances in the ABQ/Santa Fe area. Through emails and phone calls, Omar was easy to work with - he was flexible, understanding and the utmost professional.

Being the bride, I was the last one to enter the ceremony area and the first to leave. On top of that, we spent all of our cocktail hour with our photographers. As such, I did not get to hear much of the music firsthand. However, in talking with our family and guests, everyone was impressed, entertained and thoroughly enjoyed their music. They walked down the aisle while planning our processional, in front of our officiant and wedding party. (This was a fairly last minute request by the groom that Omar didn't bat an eye at!) They also walked through the cocktail hour crowd while playing and singing.

I cannot wait to hear them again in person. Hopefully during my next visit to Albuquerque! I could not have asked for nicer and more professional people to work with.

Omar is fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone! We used him for music during our ceremony and during cocktail hour. Our ceremony was in a Catholic church and Omar was by far the best option for the service due to his familiarity with the liturgy along with the value he provided. Similar artists quoted me for nearly double the price that Omar did and were not as wonderful to work with. Not only does he present himself and his business very professionally, his music speaks for itself. Stunning!

Arrived on time. Very beautiful music. We had a small wedding so having Omar only was perfect. He was very polite and played in the background before during and after. It was perfect not overwhelmig and set the right tone for the event.

Omar and the Trio Los Amigos of New Mexico were great! A single classical guitarist played pre-ceremony. Then, the performer played two contemporary songs that we asked him to learn for the wedding processional, which sounded beautiful. He even provided the microphone and amplification for our officiant and vows. During the reception, the mariachi trio serenaded the guests. My traditional Hispanic-New Mexican family, my fiance's family, and our out-of-town friends really enjoyed the intimate, authentic presentation of the music. Thanks Omar!

I was pleased with Omar, he was professional and flexible but required a deposit in case the scheduled date did not work. The deposit was fair and reasonable. Omar traveled from Albuquerque to Taos for the reception, he arrived on time and performed with a high quality. His responsiveness through e-mail was timely but not prompt. Overall I was pleased with the value and quality and would recommend him to others.

Omar gave a five star performance at our wedding, but he was difficult to communicate with at best, and showed up 10 minutes late to our ceremony even with clarification. I hope in the future he takes his clients for seriously.
