Creative, friendly & flexible wedding videographer in the SB area!
Kyle was a friendly, creative videographer that did an exceptional job capturing my husband & I's wedding in Santa Barbara, CA. We highly recommend him and would hire him again in a heartbeat! A few things come to mind about our experience working with him: 1) he was easy to work with amidst multiple COVID reschedules, venue changes, and all the other fun hell that accompanied pandemic wedding planning. He was definitely the most flexible of all our vendors and was great to be able to have peace of mind over this one element of our wedding planning. Additionally after the wedding, he was very communicative in sending us samples of our videos as he built to the final product, involving us in the journey. He also worked with us extensively to get every video/cut that we wanted. 2) he was super fun & easy to be around at the wedding, as he captured the big moments throughout day. He always seemed to be in the right spot, but at the same time in the background. 3)The final wedding video was really so well done and truly captured the essence of our big day. You can tell the time he puts into editing the videos and he was very creative in capturing all the subtle details of our wedding. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with how our wedding videos turned out. We've been reliving our big day through Kyle's work and are instantly transported back to Santa Barbara!

The best candid videographer!
Kyle was so kind, talented and professional! He was recommended to us by our photographer. We wanted a video of our wedding that felt like a candid home video, and he more than delivered! We booked his smallest package due to our budget and added on his audio guest book! 10/10 would recommend getting the audio guest book I have messages from my grandparents and all the people we love to cherish forever! I think splurging for his middle or top tier would have been worth it! He is truly so talented and he has different cameras that he switches between! We loved the super8 footage especially. I would definitely recommend booking Kyle!

We went back and forth on hiring a videographer but I am so glad we did! Kyle was amazing to work with, always communicated with us and really felt like family on the big day! Kyle made our magical day last forever
Kyle was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. He filmed our wedding day at The Hideout in Kirkwood as well as our day-after party, and he brought such a warm, calm presence to both days. He had a gift for blending into the background while somehow never missing a moment, and he made us feel completely at ease throughout. His communication leading up to the wedding was excellent, and he was wonderful with our guests too. We couldn’t recommend him more highly. If you’re looking for a videographer who truly gets it, Kyle is your guy!

Great decision!
Choosing Kyle as our wedding videographer was one of the best decisions we made! He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and made us feel at ease. On our wedding day, he captured every meaningful moment so naturally without ever being intrusive.

We were incredibly lucky to have Kyle recommended to us as our wedding videographer. From the very beginning, Kyle was affordable while still offering truly incredible service. He is so personable, easy to talk to, easy to get ahold of, and always responsive both before and after the wedding.
On our wedding day, Kyle was nothing short of amazing! He was extremely professional and somehow managed to capture every moment of our day while also feeling like he wasn’t even there. He never got in the way of events and made everything feel natural and effortless.
Kyle truly goes above and beyond in ways that make you feel so special! He doesn’t just provide videography, he adds so many thoughtful and unexpected touches. From digital 3D photos to little Polaroids he gave us on our wedding day, every detail showed how much he cares. My husband and I each keep one of those Polaroids in our wallets as a reminder of our favorite day, and they immediately became keepsakes that mean so much to us.
After the wedding, Kyle continued to be incredibly communicative about timelines, and we never once felt like we were left hanging. The trailers and sneak peeks he provides are so fun and perfect for sharing on social media. When we received our full video, it was absolutely perfect!!
Being able to live through your wedding day is amazing, but having someone capture it in a way that allows you to relive it over and over again is truly special, and that’s exactly what Kyle did for us. It has been so fun sharing our video with friends and family and getting to relive the day with them as well!

Awesome Videographer
Kyle was so wonderful to work with! From first conversation he made us feel comfortable and like he was one of our friends. Kyle is the best! Very easy going and helpful in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. When things went array during my wedding he stepped up and I couldn’t be more grateful. The video and 3D photos were exactly as described. He even gives you a little Polaroid to keep at the end of the day - it was the first picture I got back and still one of my favorite photos.

I had worked with Kyle 1st as a wedding coordinator and has found him to be an amazing person to work with. When my daughter was getting marry, I reached out to him to see if he could customized a package for us mainly because the grandparents weren't able to attend the wedding! He went above and beyond to work with us and what he captured was just perfect. He gave us a shorter reel and then a longer version that captured everything! Omalley provided everything we wanted in our wedding videographer. He was very easy going and captured our wedding perfectly. He worked well with our photographers and provided excellent service. He edited our video and sent it to us in a timely manner and we love it. We also used his phone guest book and loved hearing the messages from our guest. He also provided us really cool 3d photos. 10000% recommend having Kyle to shoot your special day ! We debated having a videographer since we did not want the entire wedding captured , the having film of all the guests eating & endless hours of things that to be honest we did not need . Instead we found Kyle who truly captures all the real special moments , the moments you want to re-watch over & over again. Not to mention I am the biggest fan of a good reel & Kyle created all of that as well. Everything we got from him is so beautiful , not to mention the custom box he delivers his USB in. Kyle was responsive, kind and very quick with her service. He was a literal fly on the wall during the whole day! Making contact him off of wedding wire was great and he answered all my questions during the initial signing of the contract. On the day of my wedding, Kyle arrived and quickly told me to act like he wasn’t even there. He worked professionally with all my vendors and even used retro film and gave us some amazing shots! Though the contract gave Kyle a year to give us our video, he returned it back to us five months later! The video was so nostalgic and beautiful to watch. I definitely felt like I got most out of the price and Kyle was budget friendly. Videography may not be everyone’s first thought for a wedding, but it was great to have since I wasn’t able to get photos with everyone at my wedding. I get to watch them through video as much as I want. Also if you use after the tone, he can add the messages over the video. I would definitely recommend Kyle to everyone looking for a kind and knowledgeable individual to record their special day!

If you are looking for a videographer, Kyle is the man! His work is absolutely beautiful. He hand delivered our video (talk about service!!) and we can't stop watching it. I don’t think my husband and I will ever have the words to truly convey how thankful we are for Kyle. He gave us the greatest gift, a lifetime keepsake of the most important day of our lives. To be able to relive our wedding day, and elicit just as many tears of joy as we did on our wedding day time and time again is such a surreal feeling. Kyle has a special skill of being everywhere and nowhere all at once, quietly and discreetly capturing the most intimate moments. Top notch from beginning to end!
Having worked in the wedding and events industry for many years, when it came time to plan my own wedding I knew exactly who I wanted to work with. Kyle was the first vendor I reached out to and booked because I was willing to work my wedding date around his availability. Every time I've worked with him on the vendor side I was always impressed with the care he provided to each, and every client and I wanted that for myself. Needless to say, he did not disappoint! From day one he was responsive, accommodating, flexible, and caring. The day of the wedding he arrived early to capture all the details. He was so discreet throughout the day that many of the guests didn't even know he was there. The morning after the wedding we woke up to our first sneak peek reel, and immediately started crying. We loved that we were able to share that with our family and friends at our morning after brunch. About a month later we received our full video through the mail. It was like opening a present on Christmas. My husband and I sat down and cried all over again reminiscing about what a special day it was, and Kyle captured it perfectly! We got to see so many moments that we otherwise would've missed. We got to relive our full ceremony, the speeches from our friends, families and especially the ones from our boys. I will never forget how special this day was and am so thankful we hired Kyle to capture it all for us. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to book a videographer. He does great work and is the nicest human ever! Thank you again Kyle, we can't wait to have you capture more of our special moments in the years to come.

Relaxed Video!
We are so glad we decided to hire a videographer and found Kyle. I loved that Kyle didn’t add anything extra to our plate for the day. He was essentially a fly on the wall just along for the ride and captured amazing moments that we’ll cherish forever. A wedding day has the potential to be chaotic with the bride and groom being tugged in all different directions. I’m grateful Kyle was able to capture our moments so effortlessly.

Awesome in everything
Kyle is very accommodating. He gave us time to figure out the schedule and budget before finalizing the booking. He did not charge for travel fee although he came all the way from Cali. We didn't have to give him instructions. he know what he was doing. He is very experience in this kind of job. We got the highlight video right away and we loved all of them. I do not plan on getting married again but I would recommend him to those who are.

You cannot go wrong with O'Malley Reels!
O'Malley Reels is the best. We originally didn't want a wedding video. It seemed like one of those extra expenses to a wedding that is a "nice to have" not a "must have" to us. When one of my friends mentioned that a wedding video was the one thing she wished she would have done for her wedding, we knew we had to have one. We chose to use Kyle since many of my friends have used his services before. Kyle has a calm sense about him and makes everyone in the room feel comfortable even though some people don't like being on camera. He is easy going and willing to make sure you get everything you want out of your wedding video. Our video turned out absolutely amazing! Kyle captured the big moments and all the sweet details too. I could not have asked for anything more. I highly recommend O'Malley Reels to document your big day!

From the start I knew I wanted to hire Kyle after coming across a video on YouTube. His style is timeless and you're not just looking at this trend everyone else has of a highlight video at the price of a full length one. With O'Malley Reels you get so much more - highlight videos AND a full length one that captures your love story perfectly. It was like having a friend at your side the entire day yet you also don't even realize he's there. His caring demeanor is obvious and his eye for the details was so impressive (he even warned us of foxtails before a shoot because our dog was going to be in the pic). Our entire experience with Kyle was excellent. My only wish is that I had another event coming up to hire him again! Go with the biggest package. You won't be disappointed and it's so worth it!

Hiring Kyle was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! He was so flexible when it came to our change of plans (changed the date and venue) and was so patient with my slower communications. We booked Kyle in 2021 for our 2022 wedding and spoke maybe twice in that timeframe, yet he felt like an old friend on the day. We also got several highlight videos within a WEEK from the wedding day, which was beyond my expectations! Gorgeous videos, a genuine and kind man, you would be crazy not to hire Kyle. 10/10 recommend!!

Great videographer!
I hired Kyle in the beginning of 2020, before all of the maddness. We ended up postponing our wedding a year, and Kyle was super flexible and had no problems accommodating us. The day of our wedding, he showed up ontime, and was willing to travel between two places in order to capture me and my bridal party getting ready. He captured everything and put it all together very nicely, and to the music of our choosing :)

We could not have made a better choice going with Kyle! He was so professional on the day of- didn’t even notice he was there but when we got some snippets of the day I just made me smile that he captured the authenticity of our amazing day without anyone noticing!

Perfect way to remember our big day
It was a pleasure having Kyle and O’Malley Reels involved in our wedding day. From early planning, the day of, to the editing process, Kyle was always kind, communicative, and professional.
My wife and I could not have been any happier with how our wedding video came out! For me personally, my wedding day went by in the blink of an eye… but Kyle was able to beautifully capture every detail, and we love that we will always have this to reflect and enjoy our big day.

Kyle O’Malley is a GEM!!
We reached out to Kyle O’Malley mid last year for our April 2020 wedding. He provided several options and kept in constant contact to ensure our needs were being met. Then COVID hit and it changed everything. We went from a 200 person guest list to 10 guests in the backyard of my childhood home. Needless to say, it was an emotional rollercoaster. However, Kyle was the incredible professional that he is and adapted to fit out new needs. He captured all of the unique aspects of our “COVID wedding” and all of the special and intimate moments in between. He truly did make all of our videography dreams come true. Kyle was an amazing videographer for our wedding! We met up in person for a consultation, and immediately felt comfortable with him (finding vendors for an LGBT wedding wasn’t the easiest). Very approachable, and quick to reply through email. On the day of, he was very much a “fly on the wall,” worked well with our photographer, and got the most amazing shots! We got a few short clips to post on Instagram pretty much right away, and we loved our full-length video. We love that he didn’t include “cheesy” editing, if that makes sense. His prices are also very competitive! Would 100% recommend.

Amazing value and great service!
Kyle is amazing! He was willing to go to any location we needed for our wedding. He arrived early and helped make our special day remarkable. He captured so much memorable footage and was fun to work with. His services come at a great value! His style of editing fit in with our rustic wedding. I would hire him again!

Kyle did an amazing job.
Kyle did an amazing job. From start to finish Kyle was excellent . When we met we knew he was the guy to go with. On time, professional, blended in with the crews, couldn't have asked for a better videographer. Will definitely use him for future events. He captured the moments we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

No Obnoxious Videographer Here!
I'm so happy we had Kyle film our wedding! He was super responsive to emails and so nice. Day-of, I knew he was there but he wasn't in the way. He was a one man show, which I loved. I work in the wedding industry and I've seen large videographer crews that just seem to get in the way, or have to redo something to get a better shot. I didn't want a huge production or obnoxious videographer. Kyle worked really well with my photographer, which helped everything be seemless.
Kyle delivered our final wedding video DVD in a nice wood box. He also hand delivered it, something that doesn't happen often in this day. The video was beautiful and of course made me cry. I'm happy we invested in Kyle and got a gorgeous video of our wedding!!

An amazing experience!!
I have known Kyle for years, so it was an easy decision to use him for our wedding!
He captured a special moment between me and my Nonno that I will treasure for a lifetime! Getting to see sneak peaks of our video has been amazing!! I will use Kyle again in the future! I would recommend him for any and all types of events!!

Kyle was absolutely amazing to work with! He went above and beyond!!! I received a little cute clip at 8 am the next morning after our wedding! I thought that was incredible timing he didn’t leave our wedding till like 10/11pm and to turn around and send me a clip that fast was truly amazing!! He’s worth every penny

Professional and detailed
Kyle from O'Malley Reels filmed our wedding video last September 2018. My husband and I had the most wonderful experience working with him. Kyle is very professional (but not boring!) and works very hard during the entire event to capture every moment. During his editing process he sent us a few clips to get us excited! He just delivered our video last week and it was fantastic. We truly felt like we got to relive our wedding day. He gave us plenty of copies to share with family and it came in a cute custom wood box. I have recommended him to so many friends already and he is filming my sister's wedding later this year!

Professional & creative videographer! Quick turnaround time, great quality, great value, stress free & captures unforgettable moments!
We found Kyle through Instagram and took a leap of faith in hiring him (along with all of our vendors) for our destination wedding in Lake Tahoe.
We had a small ceremony (20 people) in the backyard woods. I didn’t have to give him any direction on my special day. I simply told him to capture all the best moments. I really didn’t want to stress about it.
We were blown away by the final product. His editing was fast, creative and perfect. He captured EVERYTHING special from our day ... from getting ready, my walk, our full vows, our kiss, our family, our dinner, speeches, our cake cutting etc. He even got video of the deers that stopped by during our outdoor dinner! Our wedding looked magical!
I sent him a list of my favorite songs to include in the final edit and he did it seemlessly. I also requested the video very quickly after our wedding in order to have a viewing party with friends and family who could not attend. He was very cooperative, and sent me the video is several formats in order to share it with friends and family. When it arrived in the mail, it was packaged beautifully and with lots of thought / care.
My husband and I watched it together and cried with tears of joy. He took some amazing footage that captured the overall vibe, love and joy from our special day.
We will enjoy our video for the rest of our lives and share it with our children and grandchildren as we grow. It is truly priceless and probably the BEST investment we made for our wedding.
If you’re looking for a professional, talented and stress free videographer to capture your wedding - DO NOT hesitate to hire Kyle! We are so grateful that we did!

I have been waiting to write this review about Kyle. Having Kyle at our wedding was one of the greatest decisions we made. Prior to hiring Kyle, my husband was skeptical about hiring a videographer. I was very adamant about having a film to capture the moments that go unnoticed. We are both camera shy and hate being the center of attention so we wanted to have less pressure on us during the wedding. My husband was worried that the stress of having a photographer and a videographer would be too much for us. Let me tell you, Kyle’s presence alone will alleviate that stressful thought you might have the moment you meet him. He is very easy going and mellow which was perfect for us. Perfect for a wedding in general. A lot of the times he works out of sight so you really have no idea that he’s even there. Once my husband saw the finished product he was so thankful and greatful we made the decision to hire O’Malley. We now have our wedding on film and the quality of his work is absolutely amazing! We knew he would do a wonderful job but we were so thrilled with the outcome of our videos. He managed to capture all the important moments we are so appreciative to have. If you are looking for a wedding videographer who is professional and produces quality work, I recommend hiring O’Malley reels. It will not be a mistake!

Kyle was the best videographer we could have possibly asked for. His professionalism mixed with a fun, personalized touch truly made our experience with him one of a kind. He had such an artistic and talented presentation of our wedding day... it brought me to tears! He put such thoughtfulness (even asking for some of our favorite songs to include in the finished product)... all making it even more special. Kyle was such an asset to our day. From his communication leading up to the wedding, to his creativity the day of, he was able to capture moments we didn’t even know we had. He was nowhere and everywhere at the same time, allowing everyone to feel as comfortable as possible while capturing the perfect shots. Working with Kyle at O’Malley Reels was truly such a wonderful experience!! He was kind an friendly and made it so easy to forget the camera was rolling all day. Then when our finished video arrived in the hand designed wooden box with a candle and chocolates for a special little movie night with me and my husband, I couldn’t believe how thoughtful that was. Not to mention he sent 2 additional copies of the movie for our parents!! The professionalism was amazing but Kyles consideration and determination to please his clients is what floored me and why I will be recommending him to all my friends and family!!

I did not hire a wedding photographer, but instead put up tripods around my wedding ceremony and reception to capture the special moments...huge mistake!!!! However, Kyle O’Malley came to my rescue! He took all of my raw footage as well as thousands of wedding photos and spent HOURS making us the most beautiful wedding video to remember our special day! His talent is out of this world and the time, care and dedication he invests in his clients exceeed any expectation I had! I HIGHLY recommends O’Malley Reels!

Where do I even start?! From start to finish, Kyle went above and beyond when capturing our wedding day! He did everything to make my husband and I few super comfortable, and also made sure to get in all the details of our special day. He is super creative, extremely professional, and really fun to work with, too! During the editing process he made sure to send us little teasers and the trailer (which was so exciting to see)! We chose O’Malley Reels to film our wedding this past October for a few reasons. Kyle is not only talented but also incredibly genuine! We had a more laid back wedding and did not do any speeches. Kyle knowing that my mom had been diagnosed with cancer just weeks before our wedding, went out of his way to have her record a “surprise speech”. He incorporated this speech into our final wedding video. I now have a perfectly captured video of our best day ever And my moms beautiful words to cherish forever. Not many professionals would go above and beyond like that! I highly recommend using O’Malley Reels as your next event or business promo videographer!

Kyle was a great find for our wedding videography. We are lucky he was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. He was very responsive, helpful and did a great job getting footage on your wedding day. He provided sneak peak footage, a highlight video and our wedding video (about 20 min) over the months following our wedding. He is very nice and easy to work with.
