Olympia nailed it

We had tried a couple other vendors before deciding upon Olympia. The tasting they offered was amazing and they were very personable and knowledgeable. The wedding day appetizers, and dinner was incredible. The best part was I had a goody bag of food to-go, seeing as I didn’t have a chance to eat much during the wedding. That really made my night going back to my hotel and eating in bed, haha! Thank you so so much Olympia!!!

Delicious!

Olympia was the inclusive caterer through our wedding venue, but honestly we would’ve gone with them even if that wasn’t the case! We opted to add some extra options and were thoroughly impressed with them! SUPER yummy, the beef tenderloin was particularly amazing, and the cilantro pesto that came with it was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted!!

Could not Recommend More

Darren and all of the staff were wonderful to work with from start to finish and provided some truly delicious food for our wedding. They had such great variety in their dishes and they executed them all to perfection. Guests were commenting how amazing the food was all night and we couldn't have asked for a better evening. It was a pleasure working with the Olympia crew and they truly helped make our night so special. Thanks!

Excellent!!!

We used Olympia Catering for our wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete. They are the required catering vendor for this venue, and we are SO glad that they were!! We had several guests tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We had a buffet with the signature chicken dish and the balsamic braised short ribs. For dessert, we had the mini pies and the gelato cart. Our guests RAVED about it! From the tasting session to wedding day, we were so pleased with the professionalism and quality of the service from Darren and the event staff. I cannot recommend Olympia enough!!

Olympia Catering Won us over

After tastings at a couple of other vendors we ended up with the best. Guests raved about the food at our daughters wedding reception. They were professional, polite and food was delicious. Just make an announcement before starting the food service to go by table, otherwise there is a rush to the line when they find out it's Olympia Catering!

I have never heard SO MANY people rave about wedding food until now. My husband and I chose a buffet style meal with comfort food including grilled cheese, chicken and waffles, and shrimp and grits as well as two custom cocktail drinks and I wish they were a restaurant it was downright AWESOME! Their service was JUST as amazing!!! The team lead made sure my husband and I had food and drinks in our hand the entire time and went above and beyond for us and our families making sure we were personally taken care of. Everyone in the team were so helpful and caring and we just can’t give enough praise! If you’re looking for personalized service with food that is memorable this is the catering you NEED.

Amazing food

Olympia Catering serviced our wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts on 4/22/22. Darren and his team are incredibly professional and accommodating. Best Caterer Out There!

Hands down, Olympia was the best catering company that we interacted with. Darren was a pleasure to work with and met with us many times over the course of our wedding preparations. He updated quotes for me numerous times as my wedding plans changed. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we cancelled our large wedding celebration and switched to a more intimate 10 person ceremony. Darren and his team were so flexible and allowed us to switch our order to a carry out dinner for our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious. We were bummed that all our friends and family did not get to experience the food at our originally planned large wedding because it was so delicious. We recommend Olympia catering to everyone. They have the best service and the best pricing over any of their competitors. Thank you Darren and the team for everything!

Every guest LOVED the food & service!! One of our favorite vendors!!!

Olympia Catering did an absolutely phenomenal job on my wedding day! From our first inquiry, we were connected with Sherry. She was very responsive during the times that mattered and was very thorough and detailed in the emails and the quote. Our tasting went great — they prepare a nice, reception-table-like environment for you, with some of the chargers, plates, etc. on display while you try your food. They’re generous with how much food you get to sample and they were very quick to get the appetizers and entrees out onto our table. The food was DELICIOUS. My husband and I work in the wedding industry and were already weary about having chicken for our wedding — a lot of chicken at weddings is dry and rough. But we were blown away by Olympia’s Signature Chicken Roulade. It was BY FAR the best chicken I’d ever tasted, not just at a wedding, but period. We tried their Filet with Pomegranate Reduction as well and it was cooked to absolute perfection. We decided to splurge and do their dual-entree plate so that we can give all of our guests both. For appetizers during cocktail hour, we did chicken and waffle cones, braised beef quesadilla, lobster BLT, and orange-glaze jumbo shrimp. The entire night we received so much praise from our guests how amazing all of the food was. It was really important to us that our food wasn’t sub-par, but we’re elated at how much over expectations everything was. The staff on the wedding day were also great and I’m so very thankful at how much effort they put in in setting up the tables, even the dessert table full of desserts that I didn’t even get from them. I could tell that they just wanted everything set up to perfection and we couldn’t appreciate their effort more. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!! :)

Amazing! So yum!

Olympia did an amazing job at our wedding! We had to moved around our wedding multiple times due to coronavirus and personal reasons. They were very accommodating and the food was so good! Multiple guest told us it was the best catering they ever had. The ravioli was soo good! Darren made sure we also got a whole plate full of cocktail food! The employees were so nice and everyone very helpful!
We were very happy to have them as part of our big day!

Delicious!

All my guests loved the catered food for our wedding by Olympia Catering. They said that it was not your typical boring wedding food, which is usually lack luster, but that the food was delicious! Food was amazing !

Olympia surpasses our expectations! The food was absolutely amazing, all of our guest enjoyed their meals. Mrs. Sherri and her team were prepared for anything that came their way. We had a slight change of plans the day of our wedding due to weather conditions but due to the extra preparation of Mrs. Sherri and her team the day went on without anyone noticing. For future events I would for sure book Olympia again !

Delicious!!

Sherri and staff were so professional and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything was just as good as our initial tasting appointment in January. All of the guests commented on how fabulous the food was and Sherri goes above and beyond to ensure the cocktail hour and reception is perfect. Planning a wedding during the pandemic created some last minute changes for us but Sherri was always flexible and willing to help us. We were so happy with our choice to book Olympia and would not have changed a thing!

Everything was fantastic

Sherry was a gem. Loved working with her and the staff. Food was on time and everything was hot and deliciously tasting. We had no complaints about the food, service, and the staff looked professional. Delicious and professional

Olympia catering was delicious! We had a buffet at our wedding for 150 people. They actually served us (the bride and groom) a plated dinner while everyone else went through the line so we actually had a chance to eat at our own wedding! Everything from the tasting to the cake serving was perfect.

Flexible & Always Helpful

Olympia catering was fabulous in attending to everything we wanted for our big day. We had dozens of options to choose from, and the day-of staff was so sweet- constantly waiting on us and making our guests feel so special! I even messaged them the day before because I had forgotten about a vegan guest, and they were so accommodating and made sure she had a plate that fit her dietary needs. We had the peach and red onion jam chicken, roasted red potatoes, southern green beans, and yummy strawberry salad for supper. Cocktail hour appetizers were such a huge hit- pork sliders, fried mac n cheese, sriracha deviled eggs and chicken n waffle bites! Everything was fabulous and I would absolutely recommend the Olympia Catering team for your big day.

Exceptional service

I worked with Nancy for a year and unfortunately she got very sick the week of my wedding. She introduced me to Staci who would be my day of coordinator. I was honestly freaking out a little...until I met her. She exceeded all of my expectations and the entire day went flawlessly. If I could give Staci 10 stars I would, she was that amazing.

The food was also very good and I received many compliments from the guests. Everyone said the servers were awesome, professional and very attentive.

I am very pleased with the service I received and highly recommend them to everyone.

Wow! They were amazing!

Where to start? The food was fabulous. Guests began pulling me aside during the cocktail hour with rave reviews. Every entree was delicious. A few people even told me the filet was one of the very best they’d eaten—it was miles better than the one we had at a local restaurant during the rehearsal dinner the night before. I don’t know how food tastes that good and is at the perfect temperature made on location. Beyond that, Sherri was exceptionally flexible and patient through ALL my changes as the menu vision evolved. And—many, many people went out of their way to complement the serving staff—genuinely friendly, always checking in, forever gracious. Everything from beginning to the ending midnight soup shooters and pie bar was stellar. Very, very happy with this choice. You won’t regret choosing Olympia as your caterer.

My Wedding Cake was Amazing!

Working with Olympia for my wedding cake was very easy and customized. I met with Debbie and we were able to taste the cake options and see examples. I gave her a picture of what I wanted to cake to look like from Pinterest and she made it happen!

The cake arrived early and all of my guests loved it! I chose the lemon creme cake with the whipped vanilla frosting, so good!

My only regret is not using them for catering, I would recommended them for the whole package to anyone looking!

Olympia was an absolute perfect choice for our wedding! They were amazing from the very beginning as they helped us choose the most delicious hor d'oeuvres and dinner for our guests. Darren offered advice along the way with decisions regarding the table setting and more. Nothing Less Than Outstanding!

I don't know where to begin! Nearly two months after my wedding, I am still having people rave about the food! From the appetizers, entree, and midnight snack - everything was outstanding! You can't go wrong here. Everything was served promptly and hot! No need went unmet - the whole staff at Olympia was outstanding. They even went as far as bringing my husband and I a fresh, hot meal after we said our "hello's" to everyone! They think of everything! They are very professional, friendly, and dedicated to making your event go off without a hitch!

By far, the best decision we made was to hire Nancy for our day of coordinator. If you want a stress free wedding day, there isn't even a question! She is truly phenomenal. If anything went wrong wedding day, I couldn't tell you. Everything went smoothly and timely. I was never left wondering "What next?" or "What do I do?". I trusted her with a lot of the details of our day and I am so glad I did. She is incredibly experienced and has an amazing eye. She helped guide us every step along the way - menus, linens, ambiance, etc. Our wedding was so beautiful and enjoyed by all. I know for a fact that it had everything to do with Nancy and her team. Thank you Olympia and Nancy for making our day perfect!

Best catered meal ever!

We had such an amazing experience with Olympia! They were beyond accommodating for the various dietary restrictions our families had and took good care when preparing the food. Every seated meal was hot and delicious! They even agreed to use my own recipe for the main dish! Every server provided was clean, polite, professional and efficient. The best catering company in the Tampa Bay Area!

I was looking for a good quality catering services at an affordable price for my wedding. After much research, we decided to go for Olympia Catering for many reasons. Later on, I felt lucky because much of our vendors knew and had work with Olympia -- but what truly caught my attention about Olympia was their extensive menu options and the diverse cuisine offered. We have traveled around the world and eaten from Korean to Cuban food. We felt like Olympia could represent our relationship in the form of food. Our contact person, Sherri, was very sweet since the beginning. And in the day of, our servers were very, very attentive to our requests, professional, sweet and polite. The Catering of a Lifetime!

Olympia was an absolute wonder to work with for our wedding catering. Every piece of food from the appetizers, to the main course, to the dessert was absolutely exquisite. Additionally, Darren Olympia's head coordinator was amazing to work and coordinate with. He makes you feel completely covered and accounted for with regards to all wedding reception details not just the catering. A complete hit

We hired Olympia for both our wedding catering and our wedding cake. Both were a complete hit- we got so many compliments from our guests on how delicious all of the food was. It was served hot, quick and accurately. The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. The staff was professional and so accommodating. We recently had Olympia cater our Daughter's Wedding at the Kapok and they were wonderful! Olympia Catering went above and beyond everything I thought I would get on my wedding day. On our food tasting day, EVERYTHING we tasted was absolutely amazing. It was so hard to narrow down the food that we picked. We had a travel-themed wedding, and Olympia went out of their way to present food from all over the world-our cocktail hour had 4 different appetizers from 4 different countries, complete with flags from said country. Our buffet line was decorated by Olympia, and included old-school luggage and other travel themed items. It was amazing. Our wedding was over 6 months ago, and people are STILL talking about how delicious our food was. We also chose to have our cake made by Olympia (which was included), and it was seriously the most delicious cake I've ever tasted. The baker made sure that our vision was brought to life-she included edible succulents. It was perfect. The staff was incredible and we are so grateful for everything Olympia did for us. Not to mention, the prices were GREAT. I highly recommend!

I don't even know where to begin with our wonderful experience with Nancy, Olympia Catering and the MFA for our Wedding on 1/27/18. We had the most perfect wedding day and we definitely have the above to thank!

From our initial meeting with at the MFA we fell in love with the venue and knew we were in great hands with Nancy. We ended up booking the Membership Garden for our ceremony and the Conservatory for the reception. It was great having both spaces for the evening. As other reviews said you are required to use both Olympia Catering & Lundy's for bar and alcohol service but we were very pleased with both vendors. After looking at venue's outside the MFA with 15+ approved vendors for food, I thought it was very refreshing you used the in house teams. Olympia's food was amazing - people are still talking about how good the food was! We hired Nancy to be our Day of Coordinator - one of the best decisions we made! Nancy went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and the amount of knowledge she has from the industry is amazing. She recommended several vendors for other things (DJ, photography, florals, etc) and we ended up booking several of her recommendations and they did not disappoint! I would definitely encourage anyone who books the MFA to hire Nancy as your DOC!

We felt everything surpassed our expectations through the wedding planning process and during our wedding day. We are so sad our wedding is over but so grateful for the team who made everything come together and the memories we have! Words can't express how perfect we feel our wedding day was and I am so grateful for the MFA team and Nancy to make our wedding inspiration and dreams a reality!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about how awesome it was to have Olympia as our caterer for our wedding! Not only was everything professionally handled from start to finish, their food is DELICIOUS! Guests were raving about the food all night and even long after our wedding. Sherri was our contact throughout our planning process and she really went above and beyond to make sure our needs and expectations were exceeded. The rest of the staff was professional, friendly and very attentive to our guests throughout the entire night. We also had our cake done through Olympia and it was beautiful and by far one of the best wedding cakes I have ever eaten. If you are looking for great value along with delicious food and friendly staff, Olympia is the caterer for you.

As soon as I met Nancy, I knew we just had to book with Olympia Catering and the Museum of Fine Arts St. Pete. She had such positive vibes and was extremely knowledgeable when it came to event planning. From start to finish, working with her was absolutely amazing. I wish I could get married again just to have another chance to work with her. She really made our day extremely special!! The food from Olympia was phenomenal!!! All of our guests are still talking about how they could cut their steak with a butter knife! Highly recommended!

I'll be honest, food was low on my list of priorities for my wedding. Frankly, I've been to very few weddings with above average food so I just thought it was not worth spending a ton of money on. Our venue required Olympia which was fine by me. They were afforable and had an extenstive menu to choose from. We decided to do a duet plate with steak and their signature chicken and I was completely blown away with the results. It is virtually impossible to cook 150 steaks right and every single guest we spoke with said theirs was perfect. I had more compliments about our food than I did about anything else at our wedding. From the apps to the cake everything was spectacular. You MUST get the signature chicken it is to die for. We took two plates home with us and I ate most of it that night after the wedding. Thank you Olympia for making our guests so happy and their bellys full!!

Best. Food. Ever! Not to mention the service was outstanding! We even had a special cake design to match my dress without the groom catching on :) Our guests still rave about how good the food was. I actually first had their food at a friend's wedding and knew I wanted to hire them for mine. Donna was professional and accommodating and familiar with our venue. She was lifesaver when it came to communicating with our others vendors to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. I could seriously write a book about how pleased we were with them. From the tastings, to the special ordered linens, china, matching chargers, to the cake. Highly, highly recommend Olympia!

Fantastic menus, taste, and employees! We did a personal tasting for both the food and the cake and we were blown away at how good everything was. It was one stop shopping. Donna was extremely responsive and they took care of all our special needs without missing a step. I highly recommend this vendor!

We were looking for a venue in the Tampa/St. Petersburg are to hold a wedding. We were not sure what we were looking for until our appointment at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg and meeting Nancy Henry the Catering Manager. First we fell in love with the location, how could we not. Set in beautiful downtown St. Pete just a few steps from the water and surrounded by those beautiful and unique banyan trees. Nancy took us on a tour of the museum and filled us in on all of the options that we could have. She took as much time as we needed to have all of our questions answered and when we left all it took was a short discussion to decide that this would be the place. We scheduled the wedding over a year in advance which was necessary because it books up fast. We met with Nancy a few more times to go over the details and she supplied us with a list of vendors to try. We went with her recommendations and we are glad we did: Wonderland Florist, Reverend Rick Lackore Efficient, Grant Hemond & Associates DJ (Eric), Foto Box to name a few. All were beyond wonderful. At the food tasting Nancy let us sample a variety of different hors d'oeuvres and entrees, more than we expected. All of the catering is done in house by Olympia Catering and your guests get to tour the museum during the event.
We hired Nancy as our day of coordinator and are we glad we did. All we did was drop some things off at the museum the night before and worried about nothing else but getting dressed, hair, makeup and everyone getting there on time. If you decide to have your wedding at the MFA my main piece of advice would be to hire Nancy as your day of, she is fabulous and her taking care of everything and directing everyone will take all of the pressure off your shoulders and allow you to enjoy one of the most wonderful days of your life. The wedding went off without a hitch. We continue to get compliments from everyone who attended.

I could sit here and write 20 pages about how happy I was with the service I received from Olympia but their service speaks for itself... If you are getting married, hosting a corporate event, throwing a party or shower, or have ANY need for ANY food services... CALL OLYMPIA... Sherri is a Dream!... and the staff day of??... Ah-Mazing!... Tata and her crew run a tight ship all while keeping your guests warm and fuzzy... I am in love with my caterer and would recommend them to anyone at any time. I can't say enough great things about Olympia! We worked closely with Sherri and she was fantastic from day one. Anyone who's planned a wedding knows how fast things add up, and Sherri was great at sending us multiple proposals and working with us until we found the right menu for our budget. The day of our wedding, we got multiple compliments from guests on how good the food was, and my super critical family had nothing but incredible things to say.

The day of our wedding, they were so accommodating and made sure we ate before our guests so we had time to go around and talk to everyone before the party began. They came and brought us drinks while we were taking photos and did everything they could to make sure our day was perfect.

I couldn't recommend Olympia more for your wedding or special event!

Olympia Catering did a fantastic job with our recent wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts in St Petersburg, FL! We worked with Nancy Cotto and she was the BEST! She kept us organized and made sure we got exactly what we wanted for our wedding. The food was delicious and we received compliments from numerous guests on how great it was. The food package also included the cake which was wonderful - and they made it exactly how we wanted it. We could not be happier with this vendor!

Olympia was AWESOME! Before my husband and I really got into the throes of planning our wedding, we felt that there are three main components to a good wedding: great food, good music and an open bar! Olympia nailed two out of the three for us. Sherri was super helpful throughout the whole process, and prices were very reasonable. We received countless compliments from our friends and family about the food and bar selections. Oh, and I can't forget about Marlene who personally took care of me and my husband the day of our wedding, she was a lifesaver! I HIGHLY recommend Olympia Catering, you truly can't go wrong!

We were so busy, we barely ate much, however our guests and family gave great reviews! Olympia did have one employee that was designated to making sure we got plates of food and kept reminding us to eat - she was wonderful! She also delivered drinks to us all night. We were never empty handed! The food we did taste was delicious! They were a little pricey, but the quality of their food was set far from the other caterers we tried. We are very pleased with our choice!

We also had them make our cake and it was DELICIOUS! They didn't quite do what I asked for as far as the design goes (I had complicated design requests), but it was still beautiful and I didn't even notice until I looked at pictures later. The most important thing was that it tasted good and looked gorgeous!

I would choose them again for sure. You won't be disappointed!

Working with Donna Aguis was an absolute pleasure! From the moment my husband and I arrived at the first tasting, I knew there was something special about Olympia Catering. The staff was friendly and Donna proved to be very knowledgable of the menu options. I think I bonded so well with Donna because she is very organized and detailed (like myself lol)! Once we tried the delicious food and learned that the wedding cake was included with the catering, we were sold! It was such a relief to have the cake included and to not worry about hiring another vendor. The cake designer, Debbie, was also wonderful to work with! She was prompt in responding to emails and very helpful in designing our beautiful cake. I showed Debbie pictures of cake designs and also requested a special icing flavor that was not offered on the menu. Our flavors were white chocolate icing with white cake and a chocolate raspberry filling. Debbie provided a sample mini cake with our flavors to ensure we liked the flavors before the wedding. Debbie and her team made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake I have ever seen and tasted! For our food, we selected four passed hors d'oeuvres and the buffet option with two entrees. On the day of our wedding, our guest kept complimenting us on the food throughout the evening! To this day, I'm still receiving compliments about how awesome our food and cake tasted. I really appreciated Donna's efforts in staying within our budget and providing surprise gifts the day of our wedding! If you are looking for high quality food and work with amazing people, go with Olympia Catering. Donna, thanks again for making our day wonderful!!!

Olympia Catering and Donna Aguis were an absolute dream to work with and made my wedding day perfect and stress free. From start to finish, Donna went above and beyond answering questions and getting me get to a price point I was comfortable with, and she was beyond patient guiding me on selecting the perfect menu for our guests. OUR GUESTS RAVED about the food and service. Olympia was extremely accommodating with our gluten free, dairy free and vegetarians too. Donna made the whole process easy, especially when I realized I would need linens at the 11th hour, she kept it stress free. She even helped me select certain parts of my centerpieces when I couldn't decide and helped me find options. By the time my wedding day came I had such confidence in her, I told her to use her judgement on what to do with certain decorations, sign in, and cake tables- and they looked perfect. The decor they provided on the coffee bar and buffet was stunning and was a complete delight/surprise.
My cake was picture perfect and exactly like the photo I provided. The staff was so attentive for my groom and I with drinks and food, neither of us were ever taken away from each other or our guests.
If you are looking for an amazing caterer who will take care of everything, HIGHLY recommend Olympia and Donna. Worth every single penny. I still have people talking about how great they were. The devil is in the details, I am so grateful while working full time and traveling non-stop while planning a wedding, I had someone who I could trust to not miss and guide me through every one of them. Olympia Catering provided exceptional service for our event. The event coordinator, Donna Aguis, was a pleasure to work with and organized a superior catering service. The on-site team was right on-point! They prepared very tasty hors d'oeuvre and set-up beautiful food and floral presentations. You couldn't tell the event was catered after their thorough clean-up.

I am so happy that we went with Olympia for our wedding. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the food.

We used Olympia for catering because they were on the approved vendor list for our venue, however, we also chose to work with Nancy at Olympia for our wedding coordination because of how wonderful she is. Nancy is AMAZING!!!! From the first contact I knew this was the vendor for me. My initial email to Olympia was at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. I received a response from Nancy within an hour of sending my email. I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a quick response. Nancy followed up on every detail - even when I brought some fun items for the reception, but didn't know what to do with them, Nancy said, "Give them to me and I'll take care of them." I had so much to worry about that day - it was nice to be able to hand so many things to her and know they would be handled PERFECTLY. She thought of every little detail and made suggestions when we weren't sure what to do.

The food was displayed beautifully and tasted great. The Olympian Chicken is delicious! The catering staff was so great to work with. Tata thought of everything - she had a plate of hors d'overs set aside for us, and she brought us each a plate of food so we didn't have to go through the buffet line. The little things make a BIG difference when you have limited time on your big day. Nancy even made sure that we had a to-go plate sent with us to make sure that we had enough food.

I would definitely recommend Olympia catering for your wedding. I contacted a total of four catering vendors when looking for a caterer. Olympia far exceeds ANY vendor that I contacted - they were the perfect choice for our wedding.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Olympia, especially have Donna Aquis as our coordinator! The food is always amazing, and they make it very simple to plan. My best advise is to limit your number of vendors. We had Olympia take care of food of course, cake, and all linens, chair covers, and sashes. Donna also designed our Sweets table. We had the most amazing vendors and I wouldn't change a thing!

Wow. Where do I even start?? First I'll start with the service. I met Sherri at a bridal show and sampled their delicious Olympia Signature Chicken. It wasn't hard to convince my (now) hubby that they were the ones! The level of service we received was incredible. Sherri was there to help me navigate the menu and build something just for us. The day of the event Sherri made sure that we were completely taken care of by the amazing staff. Nothing was overlooked and I truly feel like our day wouldn't have happened without her. Now, the food. We picked some delicious sounding items and luckily had already tasted some of them at the bridal show. The day of the wedding our guests raved about the food. From the passed hors d'oeuvres to the signature chicken and salmon (even the veggies and potatoes were swoon worthy - per our vegetarians). I wish I could go back to that day for several reasons, if not JUST for the food. Also, I wish I could post photos here but I can't so I will just have to say that I have never seen a more beautifully decorated buffet. Sherri worked around our color scheme from the linens to the flowers and decor. It was absolutely perfect. We used their long family style tables and rented the chivari chairs. Everything came together so beautifully and it was thanks too Sherri and her team. Finally, our cake was part of the package and not only was it absolutely gorgeous, it was soooo good!!! I highly recommend Olympia. From beginning to end, working with Sherri and Olympia was hands down the best decision we made.

Marlene and her crew catered our daughters wedding in Indian Rocks Beach last weekend and they were amazing. The food was exception, the Sushi bar display was incredible as was the taste, all the other food was also top class. But in addition to the food they helped with many other tasks, washed glasses, helped setup, cleaned up, and they were very attentive and always had a smile. It was way better than I expected and would recommend them for any event.

We used Olympia for our buffet at the reception. I can tell you if you're looking for a professional staff that caters to your guests, they are it. The little touches they made were excellent. From going through the buffet line for us and serving my groom and I, to bringing the hors d'oeuvres to our wedding party first during cocktail hour so they could eat during photos, they were amazing. Did I mention the linens they brought for our Tiffany blue color scheme were perfect? Just an outstanding job all around. We will definitely use them again for future catering needs.

My only critique would be we didn't use their bakery department for our wedding cake, but instead went with another vendor. This was due to the lady during our cake appointment kept making comments about how everything we said was "an extra cost" and we felt a little uncomfortable with her demeanor. But, I'm sure she makes incredible cakes...just wasn't the right fit for us. Overall, Olympia is perfection and will do everything they can to make sure you're stress free during your event!

Our wedding was at the Museum of Fine Arts St. Pete and had Olympia for our catering.

I worked with Nancy directly and she was absolutely amazing! She was always so prompt to respond to emails and always so honest! They offer a great package deal so you don't have to worry about all the little details, the per person pricing was great, the food was awesome, and the team on the day of the wedding really made sure my husband and I were taken care of the whole night. It really is relief to know you can just have a great time at the wedding without having to worry about a thing.

Like I mentioned, the food was amazing- we went with Filet, Lemon Basil Mahi, Free Ranged Chicken and Vegetarian options. We did assigned seating to help get food out faster for more dancing later. Nancy suggested that and it worked great. Everyone loved the late night mini sliders -- it was a big hit! Also our wedding cake was stunning!

We had our cocktail hour in the gardens and reception in the marley room which was so elegant and perfect for our 130 guest size wedding!

Thank you Nancy and team for making our dream a reality!

I have never had such good food at a wedding and that is what all of my guests said as well. There was not a bite left on a single plate! Olympia was very fleible with the amount of times I tried to rework the costs of the menu. They did everything that was asked of them and decorated to match my style perfectly without me een asking. Each staff member was profeional and overall fantastic! Would'nt trust anyone else for my wedding or event!

She triple checked everything to ensure she had all the details which allowed me to rest easy. The food was amazing! All our guests were raving and telling us how they’d had 2nds and 3rds. The mascarpone mashed potatoes are to die for!
Debbie helped us with our wedding cake and design. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and equally delicious. I cried when I first saw the cake. It was more delicious than I remembered from our tasting. We had a lemon cake, custard filling, and buttercream icing. The cake was so moist. I wish I had more of it! The top tier is in the freezer now. I am tempted to thaw it out and eat it after only 2 weeks!
Tata, the chef in charge at our event, was amazing! She is so pleasant and more than willing to make sure everything is to your liking. She personally served my husband and I at dinner. Even during our tasting she came out and introduced herself and wanted to make sure the food was exactly what we wanted. Tata was just outstanding! The support staff was very professional and attentive. They brought food and drinks for the bridal party while we took photos. My husband is a picky eater and they was able to accommodate him by giving him a requested cheeseburger and fries, which he said was one of the best burgers he had ever had. We were given taken home meals for after the wedding and my husband devoured his second cheeseburger in the hotel later that night. I only wish I could have eaten more food!

My husband, Andrew and I had our wedding at the Kapok Special Events on 10/18/2015 and we were VERY satisfied with Olympia Catering and their amazing cake maker Debbie Aaron . From the start Sheri was prompt to answer all of our questions throughout the whole process. She was extremely personable and easy to talk to. I was really impressed on how Debbie was able to reflect the EXACT vision I was wanting for my wedding cake and how quickly she would respond to reassure me that the cake was going to be perfect. DEBBIE WAS RIGHT!! Everything was GORGEOUS because of this talented woman!! The cake was even BETTER then I could have imagined. Debbie knows exactly what each of her Brides need and want on the most important day of their lives. The food selection and quality that Olympia has to offer was OUTSTANDING!! The food is delicious! We used Olympia for our food and wedding cake. Normally when I go to weddings I feel the food is mediocre but Olympia's food was outstanding!! Their servers made sure all the guests were taken care of. So many people have asked who catered the wedding because the food was so delicious.

Olympia Catering was absolutely amazing!! We had a buffet style dinner with the signature chicken which was to die for! We did the tasting and planning with Sheri who was remarkable. She worked with our budget and accommodated my requests. I wanted a buffet style dinner but it was so much better than a table of food- the buffet table was decorated beautifully, the food presentation was lovely and their staff serves the guests. Marlene was our captain at the wedding and she was awesome!! She took such great care of my husband and I, as well as the bridal party and our families! Marlene brought us food from the cocktail hour while we were taking formal pictures and brought a plate to the bridal party! She served my husband and I dinner, brought us drinks all night, brought us our cake slices, you name it! She was an angel. The great thing about Olympia is that they handle the coordination of your wedding with the other vendors making it a seamless night of events. It's such a great feeling to leave your wedding in the hands of great vendors. Olympia not only blew us away with the food, but with their service and professionalism as well. Don't waste your time with other caterers in the area- you're in the best hands with Olympia!

I worked with Nancy for the catering portion of our wedding. She was extremely helpful and provided great suggestions when I was stuck between choices. All of the food was amazing! Their signature chicken was truly top-notch! They were very responsive, and professional. I am working with Debbie for the cake, which is included in the price (cost savings!!). Additionally, they provide the linens and tableware for the event as well as staff. Nancy really knows her stuff and I can tell she has been in the business for a while. She was able to provide suggestions about spacing for my venue (The Dali Museum) that I had not even thought about. Overall, everything was great and I cannot wait to continue to work with them!

We couldn't have dreamed of a better caterer - we're seriously hoping for other excuses to have them cater for us!..renewal of vows every 6 months? They were on point the entire evening - not only was the food + cake exquisite (we received so many compliments!), but the service was above & beyond attentive.

SERVICE/PROFESSIONALISM: Impeccable. My husband and I felt like we were treated better than royalty. The wedding party was also never left unattended - we were always watered/beer/fed - this was critical in FLORIDA/JUNE. They set up all our centerpieces, favors, and helped us achieve everything we had envisioned. They were very in tune with every detail, to the point where they would have an answer for things before we even realized we should have been concerned - i.e. I made my own cascading bouquet, so prior to the bouquet toss, they created a small bouquet for me to toss using my extra flowers, so that I did not have to ruin my bouquet. They made sure we were not hungry - we had our food plated served, & to-go boxes prepared.

RESPONSIVENESS: It was difficult to get ahold of Olympia early in our planning process, but they were very organized and helpful in planning overall. We never had questions left unanswered or unclear. The responsiveness of the staff on the day of the wedding more than made up for difficulty getting in touch with them previously.

VALUE: As people who love cooking ourselves, we were salivating by the descriptions of each dish...just seeing ingredients like shallots & prosciutto was a good sign. The taste of the food exceeded description/imagination! At the wedding, it matched that of the tasting, despite being created on a much larger scale, & buffet-style instead of plated (& because they were efficient, the guest all had warm food!).

Cake - perfect - moist (but not wet/soggy), with fresh strawberries and cheesecake filling that tasted better than some of the stand-alone cheesecakes I have had! And beautiful!

I can guaranty that I did NOT have "Wedding Food" at my wedding. I was SO happy with the food that we were served. The cake was SO delicious. The catering staff was so helpful and were willing to do anything that I requested, even changing my menu just a month before. They met with me and made sure I was happy. Olympia Catering was so amazing on our big day. They were very accommodating with the menu and worked with us on our budget to get the most out of every dollar. We got married at the Ca’d’Zan Mansion at the Ringling Museum, and I could not have chosen a better caterer for my wedding!! Taryn was absolutely FABULOUS!! From the food, the linens, to the wedding day timeline, she made the whole planning process a breeze. She was very prompt, patient, flexible, and organized. She understood my theme and was able to make wonderful suggestions that added that extra touch I was looking for. She truly cares about making your day special; and her and her staff will go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly.

The day of the wedding, Taryn and her staff were EXCEPTIONAL!! The ceremony and reception were set up to perfection! Once the ceremony was over, even while taking pictures they made sure the wedding party got to partake in the appetizers and drinks; and then into the reception my husband and I had our toasting glasses full and our plates already made so we had a chance to eat as soon as we sat down. The entire staff was neat, clean and organized- not once did I see a dirty plate left on the table. This company’s standards are TOP NOTCH and they present nothing but EXCELLENCE!!

The food was PHENOMENAL and we continue to get compliments regarding the food even weeks after the wedding! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND OLYMPIA CATERING and will definitely use them in the future!

If we could give Olympia 10 Stars we would!! We cannot thank Olympia enough for their incredible food and service for our wedding!!! Working with Sheri was as easy as pie (no pun intended!) and they truly made our wedding reception ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!! The bartenders and service staff was absolutely amazing, everyone had a drink in hand and never had to wait in a super long or slow line. They were friendly, fast, and accommodating, and especially helpful to our guests with challenges or special needs. They brought drinks and food to us and our wedding party while we were taking our photos during cocktail hour, and as soon as our dinner stations were opened, they delivered plates of everything to our sweetheart table so we could relax and eat our first dinner together.
Our wedding food was DELICOUS!! All of our guests complimented us on how good the food and service was, over and over again!! And as a bride, that is one thing you need to have a successful event! Olympia catered our wedding at The Dali Museum and we could not have been happier with them. We worked with Taryn to set the menu. Our reception was later so we went with all hors d'oeuvres. Taryn did a fantastic job coming up with a mixture of light finger foods and heavier station options. Before we began the photos, Taryn and her team brought us food and made sure we were taken care of. Marlene was our banquet head at the wedding and she was fantastic! She made sure my husband and I ate. She was very attentive to both us and our families the entire night. They packed us to-go boxes of all the food to take with us. Olympia was amazing! They had the best customer service, best food and best prices. We had the fried goat cheese balls, Thai chicken skewers, spanakopita for apps, Olympia chicken, braised short ribs, mars spine mashed potatoes and strawberry salad for dinner and it was all amazing. Olympia Catering if just the best hands down. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received on the food. The one that I agree with and got the most was “It was the best food at a wedding I’ve ever had.” The sushi table was a HUGE hit!!! We also had apps like grilled cheese bites and tomato soup shots, which were also a guest favorite, along with the mash potato bar!!! The staff is also top notch. They were nice enough to bring some apps to where I was getting my dress bustled and also sent us home with some food! I had my wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete, so didn’t have a choice of caterer but I would choose them in a heartbeat! I give 5 stars to everything else that was included in my package like the lines, china & chairs. I hired Nancy as my day of coordinator and everything was taken care of, organized, and decorated just how I wanted. …. Now to the cake Our wedding was on Valentine’s Day so we thought a red velvet cake was the perfect flavor and happens to be my husband’s favorite. He’s very picky about his red velvet and said it was the best red velvet cake he’s ever had. The cake was just as Debbie, with Olympia Catering, sketched it. It was modeled after my wedding dress and looked amazing. Usually wedding cakes just look nice- this one actually tasted like heaven!!! We got leftovers which we are still defrosting and eating. We’ll save the topper (if my husband doesn’t get his hands on it earlier) for our anniversary.

Olympia was amazing! We had the pleasure of working with the owner Darren Diaz for our wedding catering. He was so great to work with, so professional, and he knew exactly what we wanted and executed it fully. The food was amazing! We went with a buffet with their Signature Chicken, which was so delicious. We received so many compliments on the food. We also had ribeye steak, roasted potatoes, and veggies... All great! We also added a pasta station, which was cool because guests could customize their dish. Olympia also made our cake. I have them a picture of how I wanted it and they made look exactly like the picture. We went with yellow cake with cheesecake filling on one tier and red velvet with cream cheese filling on the others. It was soooooo delicious!!! I would highly recommend working with Olympia for catering and cake!

I could go on forever about how amazing Olympia made my wedding day! Beyond food even! Sherri did such a great job putting everything together. A month later, I still keep hearing from my guests how AMAZING the chicken was. They didn't just provide food service and linens, they offered to set up my personal DIY decor, including several Christmas trees!!

Sherri went above and beyond what I had even expected, to match my Christmas theme, she had set many floral arrangements, red votives and birch logs on the buffet table. I asked for a candy table instead of a grooms cake because my husband is obsessed with candy, all kinds. He even had specific candies he wanted her to retrieve, very specific, poor Sherri. She delivered, the candy table was a HUGE hit, after the open bar of course, haha.

I completely and totally recommend Olympia Catering if you want a hard working crew that will wait on you hand and foot like you are a Queen the night of your wedding! They treat you like you are the most important person in the room and you deserve it!

I am so thankful that I was able to work with Olympia for my wedding. It started out with a really fun tasting trial! They provided some incredible options for us to eat and pick from. Then we narrowed done our wedding menu.

Olympia catering was the best I could had ask for. Taryn was always there for me when I needed and worked with us from the very beginning. She was very understanding and worked according to our budged and what we wanted. I can email email her or call with no problems and if she wasn't available she will get back with me promptly. I picked a package that included the all the food plus cake, linens , and chavari chairs!
It made it easy to only deal with one vendor for all those things. The day of my wedding things went great and the food was amazing!!!
I still hear from my guest about the food. The service was outstanding as well. Every employee from Olympia was great! I My wedding day was the best day ever and part of it had to do with having Olympia as my caterer.

From the very beginning they were very helpful and willing to work with us. We were on a tight budget but still not only wanted to feed our guests but wanted it to still be great! They were able to work within our price budget and it give us something delicious and amazing. The food and wedding cake were just as we wanted and imagined. Nancy went above and beyond the call of duty as the Sales Manager for Olympia and calmed me down, gave me wonderful advice and reassured me that everything would be great. She even played interference on opinionated and demanding family members. She provided amazing recommendations on food and linen options and even set up a very last minute tasting for my mom. When it came time for the cake tasting, I was unable to attend and Debbie did an amazing job with my mom at the tasting. She gave excellent suggestions and helped me make a final decision.
On the day of the ceremony I was blow away by the responsiveness of our banquet captain, Tina. During cocktail hour she introduced herself to my Husband and I and provided us with a plate of Hors d'oeuvre while we were getting our photos done. Tina made us feel like we were the only people that she was taking care of all night. She swapped our champagne for toasting to wine and beer (since we aren't champagne drinkers), made sure we got to-go meals for after the reception and even made a joke that if she wasn't able to wrap us up a meal that she would drive to McDonalds for us. She explained that brides and grooms never eat as much as they should, and inevitably end up hungry after the reception…She couldn't have been more right!! Those to- go meals were exactly what we needed later that night!!
Aside from the amazing service we received from Nancy, Debbie and Tina- the food was wonderful as well. Everyone we spoke to that night was raving about the stuffed chicken and the filet. The red velvet cupcakes were amazing and hit the spot for my sweet tooth.
On your wedding day, you don’t want to have a care in the world and I can honestly say that Nancy and Tina made sure that we didn't. Nancy and Tina were my angels and I know that night wouldn't have been the same if we did not have these ladies there to help.

What a wonderful experience with Olympia!!! From the initial consultation up to my wedding day I was their priority! Sherri was there for me making sure I get exactly what I want and making it all somehow fit into my budget!! yeah she's that good! What I loved the most was how they took care of me on my wedding day! I got my own personal waiter and She made sure I had something to eat before the reception, would make sure I had plenty of water and continually kept checking on me just to make sure I was doing OK. I loved that, the fact that someone was there taking care of me on my special day. The food was amazing, everything tasted amazing and my custom Wedding Cake turned out just like I had imagined it!! Thank You Sherri and Olympia for such a wonderful Experience!!

I cannot say enough great things about Olympia!!! (Our wedding actually took place on 10/11/2014, but I cannot change that for some reason)They surpassed our expectations and truly made our wedding amazing! We used Olympia for our catering and our cake...they are the complete package! When we had our tasting with Nancy, Amy and Marlene, we knew we had to hire them! the food was amazing and delicious at our trial and was the exact same on our wedding day. They prepare the food on location - even the filet mignons were seared and cooked on the spot! I cannot count how many time we heard "best wedding food ever" and the cake was equally as delicious and beautiful!! Now, on to the service...we felt like royalty! Marlene was absolutely on point the entire night and so was the rest of her team. We never had an empty drink or water glass, even while we were taking photos. She even had drinks and appetizers waiting for us, after we finished with the picture taking. Our guests were also commenting all night on how amazing the service was. I could go on and on singing the praises of Olympia Catering, but the bottom line is that you will be so incredibly happy, if you hire this team of catering professionals!!!! Unbelievable experience!

All I can say is WOW!!! Olympia has truly been an amazing company to work with! From the moment we started communicating with Olympia we were impressed with their professionalism, responsiveness and flexibility. They made our wedding day feel special and did not treat us like we were "just another wedding." Not only did they provide exceptional service, but their food was delicious! We looked at numerous catering companies and Olympia surpassed all of them! Our wedding reception was beautiful and the food and cake were great! Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We are so thankful we chose Olympia, they do not disappoint!
