  After a literal nightmare at The Vow in Morgantown, Oliverio's saved the day! I found my dream dress and the seamstress completed difficult alterations that I wanted to change the shape of the dress. Highly recommended!

  I was an out of town bride and they worked around my schedule of visits. They did my final fitting 2 days before my wedding and everything was perfect. They had my dream dress along with every other dress I looked at thru the whole process. Amazing!

  I had a wonderful experience finding my dress here. The consultants were patient and didn't put a time limit on my appointment like most dress shops do. I felt comfortable and not pressured into buying a dress.

  Oliverio's is a smaller bridal shop, but they have absolutely beautiful, unique gowns so that everyone is able to find the perfect gown for their special day. The staff is very sweet and attentive, and I did not feel at all rushed on the day that I went in and tried on gowns for the first time. I just recently had my first fitting and was a little nervous at first when the seamstress was saying that she didn't know if they could do what I wanted to have done to my gown (that they had previously said they could do), but in the end it all worked out! I just wasn't communicating what I wanted in the proper terms. They aren't pushy at all and will bend over backwards to help you look the way you want on your big day!

  So Disappointed

  I had so many problems with this dress shop. Lack of communication was the biggest one, among a lack of professionalism and absolutely no compassion. I bought my dress here, and the alteration process was so unnecessarily stressful and exasperating. I wish I had taken it elsewhere at first, instead of having a dress that was 2 sizes too big two days before my wedding. No one even cared. I had to wear three bras just to hold my dress up on my big day. Staff calls you “honey” and “baby” as if you’re a 10 year old child. No one in the shop ever knew when my wedding was, they continually had to ask me. Just extremely disappointed with this shop.

  This was the first place I went for a dress. I made the appointment the day of and they said it was fine because they were not busy. I'm a bigger girl and there's not much selection in that area. The girl that helped had no idea what to ask so she went to ask someone else. She then left my bridesmaid and I to pull the dresses and hang them, and didn't help zip or fluff them out. Also knew nothing about the alterations sizing or could not provide information about the designer. I had the same dress on walking around for almost an hour before she asked if I wanted to get on the pedestal in front of the mirror. She was of some assistance with birdcage veils but only because she was trying them on. I won't be back to get that dress or give my business. A terrible experience. By the time we left, there were five ladies just standing around. We didn't get a goodbye or a thanks.

  When I first went here to pick out a wedding gown they were very nice and helpful. I went back for bridesmaid dresses and they showed us where they were and we were on our own after that. We ordered dresses and went for fittings when they came in. They went on about how great the seamstress was and how she had done it for 18 years. We made a final appointment for a month away for bridesmaid fittings and so I could pick up my gown. After driving 2 hours we got there and she only had us down for 2 bridesmaid dresses instead of 3. But she hadn't even started on any of them. My gown had to be hemmed and she was going to sew the bra cups in and see the snap on straps on. We took it out of the bag and started pulling all different color threads off of it. The straps were sewn on with huge sloppy stitches. The bra cups were sewn in with a big x on each corner. Not what I expected from someone who was supposed to b good at it. They charged me $200 for the alterations. So the bridesmaid dresses were also a nightmare. Two of them were hemmed but still too long. The ivory lace straps were supposed to be taken up some but they were all still to big and had huge bulky seams. They were sewn with bright white thread that was very noticeable. We brought one of the dresses home with the pins still in it and a blood stain on it where the seamstress had stuck herself at the previous fitting. They are more concerned with prom and pageant dresses. My gown was $2500 and I felt like it should've been done neatly not butchered. Would not recommend at all!!
