Wonderful DJ for our wedding!

Olivera Music & Entertainment was wonderful to work with! We had a DJ for our wedding--DJ Ray--and have received so many comments about how AWESOME the music was! He kept that dance floor hopping all night long, it was the best. Kevin and his team also helped with set up for our live musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They provided additional equipment for them which was super helpful. All in all, A+ experience!

Hire DJ Brian and you won't regret it!

Kevin Olivera and more specifically DJ Brian are absolutely amazing! DJ Brian played during our rehearsal dinner and for our ceremony and we couldn't have been happier. Brian made sure that he was available to me leading up to my wedding to assist with anything and felt like family from the first time we met. I gave DJ Brian little guidance aside from genre of music to play and he didn't disappoint at all. All of my rehearsal dinner guests were singing and dancing along all night. I can't thank DJ Brian enough for a great evening.

Oustanding music and service

Our trio from Olivera was fantastic! they helped us choose classical music for our ceremony and reception and played upbeat jazz for our cocktail reception, not to mention a special arrangement of Mr blue sky for our entrance as a new couple. Kevin is amazing to work with and we highly recommend them for any special occasion.

Olivera Trio

Kevin and the Olivera Trio exceeded all of our expectations and my wife and I would recommend them without hesitation to absolutely anyone for any event. We greatly look forward to the next time we can hire them for something ourselves! Working with Kevin we got much more than just an amazing jazz band that could read the room and keep the lovely music going, we also got to work with seasoned professionals who made the entire reception run more smoothly; he met us after the ceremony to chat through the reception “run of show”, introduced us as a married couple for our entrance, helped direct guests when we were about to cut our wedding cake and gathered people for our hora dance at the end of the night. We were also very impressed with the song we asked the trio to learn for our first dance. As my wife and I are not confident dancers, Kevin came up to us before the song and asked how long we wanted the dance to last; we told him we just wanted a short piece and the trio absolutely delivered, playing for a beautiful 90 seconds or so while we danced but not so long has to make us feel uncomfortable standing up there swaying. So much more lovely and memorable than a wedding DJ, if you are even remotely considering having live music at your wedding or event go with The Olivera Trio; you will be very happy you did; they made our night!

Great music and great times!

DJ/MC Ray was the best! He was very knowledgeable and helpful when meeting before the event. Through the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception he did a wonderful job helping everything flow smoothly and keeping people on the dance floor. The guests had a fantastic time.
We had a number of special requests (specific music, some slightly obscure) and he weaved them in flawlessly. DJ/MC Ray and Olivera Music were the best and we'd definitely recommend them to anyone!

Chelle Fulk is Amazing!

I always knew that for my wedding ceremony I'd want a violinist to play, and I was so lucky to have Chelle Fulk be assigned to mine when the time came! Not only is she so incredibly talented, but she's professional, personable, and highly organized. She made it super easy to select the right songs, which if Classical music knowledge isn't your strong suit (like me), it can be daunting!

I'd highly recommend Chelle for your wedding, especially if you're looking for that classical, elegant touch that leaves few dry eyes as you're walking down the aisle :)

Vocalist/guitarist

We used Eddie who sang and played at our reception. He was fantastic!! He played the songs we chose and even learned some new ones that we liked! Our guests enjoyed him as well and we would use him again and recommend him without hesitation!

Fantastic Company

The company was very professional and very attentive. The quartet played beautiful music during our ceremony and cocktail hour. The DJ Ray Casiano was outstanding during the reception. Do yourself a favor and ask him about his gobos. Everything ran smoothly and effortlessly. I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future!!!

Excellent service for farm wedding

We had DJ Alex MC our wedding reception at East Lynn Farms this fall. Alex was great to work with and talk to leading up to the event and worked with us selecting music. He reminded us of potential song choices we didn’t think of. Would highly recommend!

Cellist and Violinist Duo

Our wedding planner coordinated with Olivera Music to provide ceremony/reception music for our wedding. We hired a cellist and violinist (this was listed as “Anthem String Duo”) and they were wonderful. They arrived on time and played exceptionally. We had requested classical music before the ceremony and then more recent music during the reception. We even had a quick phone call with the violinist so that they understood what we were looking for. We got a lot of compliments on the music. Having live music during the ceremony (especially for the wedding party processional) was amazing.

DJ Ray was a Ray of Sunshine on our Cloudy Wedding Day!

He was set up and ready to go on our walk-through and played all the songs we gave him to play. He also knew what brought people to the dance floor on a river cruise, which is not easy to do when so many people are outside taking in the sights. A great guy who provided a soundtrack that made everybody shake their tail feathers!

We are thrilled that we contacted Olivera Music to play at our daughter's wedding. Brian Litz and Chelle Fulk showed up early, very professionally dressed and did such a wonderful job. They sounded beautiful together. The guitar and violin added so much. Without a doubt your musicians made a huge difference. No comparison to live beautiful music!! We received so many compliments on their music. It completed the ceremony and really added to the cocktail hour. If you are thinking about it. Do it. You won't regret it!!!

Ray was our DJ and he was awesome. He was super responsive and really cared that our reception was exactly what we wanted it to be! We gave Ray lots of details and not only did he deliver but he exceeded our expectations! We had so much fun and so did our guests.

Olivera Music was ABSOLUTELY amazing! We had them play prior to our ceremony beginning, during the ceremony, and during cocktail hour. They were dressed so well, were so professional, and we received SO many compliments on just how spectacular they were. Thank you Ray for an awesome night of music and being part of our big day! Folks had a great time, I heard there was some fun karaoke towards the end of the night :-). The piano/cello duet during our cocktail hour was great too!

We hired Manny the accordianist for our wedding. He was INCREDIBLE and exceeded expectations in every way imaginable. What a guy! We’re very grateful to both him and Olivera music, without them our special day would not have been as great.

Anthem Quartet added such an elegance to our daughter's wedding with their outstanding performance. They were very pleasant to work with and kept in touch with our daughter along the planning phase to make sure they had all the music selection she wanted for her wedding. The quartet even customized a piece so it would not have such a long introduction per her request. The wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and we had so many wonderful comments about the quartet.

What was the best way to make my wedding more unique? I know! Have a harpist play at the wedding. I never had the idea really until I saw the list of possible instrumentalists from Olivera. When I saw that they had a harpist available, the idea came to me and it ended up working perfectly well. Communication with the harpist, Linda King, was a delight and easy. The payment was easy. Scheduling was easy. Everything worked out smoothly and I even forgot to speak to the harpist before the ceremony. Our officiant handled everything and Linda was receptive. In the end, no issues, no drama, and guests were amazed that I hired a harpist to play at our wedding. Even now, they still mention it. Highly recommend this company because they have a lot of talent waiting to make your next event special.

ONE WEEK before our wedding our original guitarist became unavailable - WHAT?!?!
So we called OME for help/solution (AND a special song request as well…) - they came-through and had Brian Litz perform at our wedding and he KILLED IT. And the Bride cried - tears of joy. THANKS SO MUCH OME!

Kevin and Connie found the perfect live music duo to perform at our daughter's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, held on our property in western Loudoun on September 30, 2017. The Brian Litz Duo were fabulous and the perfect choice! Kevin sent several web links and audio clips for us to listen to. We were drawn completely to the guitar and violin combination of the Brian Litz Duo. Our daughter even had a special request for her prelude down the aisle and they performed it beautifully! The ceremony and cocktail sounded magical from beginning to end! The guests were enchanted and many said it was the most wonderful ceremony they had ever been to. Thank you Kevin and Connie for sending us this fantastic Duo and thank you Brian for being such special part of our beautiful day of celebration. You guys were absolutely terrific!!

Olivera Music Entertainment played for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Tranquility Farm in Purcellville, VA. It was such a pleasure to have them play, the string duo sounded amazing especially in the natural outdoor environment. The combination of bassist and cellist is somewhat unusual but they were gems and made it work. They had a wide music selection and accommodated to what we were looking for. I chose a traditional song played in a contemporary way and I was thrilled when they provided the recordings in advance stating they could play it! Kevin Olivera and his team of musicians were absolutely delightful to work with. I HIGHLY recommend them!

DJ Ray ran our wedding and he was great! Olivera Music was extremely accommodating for all of our requests, and we had many since it was a mixed multicultural wedding. They also helped facilitate my husband’s surprise vows (he wrote me a song) and brought the crowd to tears! We chose to do a “party all night long” type vibe and DJ Ray was able to keep everyone on the dance floor the entire night. We would definitely work with them again!

I booked Anthem String Quartet and DJ Ray through Olivera and could not be happier with the experience and the outcome. My wedding guests raved about how the music helped set the perfect tone for our ceremony and how the DJ kept playing songs that kept everyone on the dance floor.

Brian did a great job not only DJing out wedding, but giving great advice on the flow of the wedding itself...he basically acted as an on site coordinator for the wedding since we did not have a planner. I'm an admitted music snob and had a very specific list of obscure songs that we wanted played throughout the event and Brian was very flexible with that and was able to download all of the songs we wanted.

The owners Kevin and Connie are amazing to work with. Responsive to our needs and guiding us through the process of planning music for my daughter's wedding. DJ Ray Casiano was just great. The dance floor at our daughter's wedding was full All Night Long! Everyone said the music was great! Connie played piano during the ceremony and cocktail hour and was just fabulous! I cannot thank the Olivera's and DJ Ray for helping to make our daughter's day perfect! Don't look anywhere else for your DJ or band needs! Would give 10 stars if I could!!! Hired them again for my second daughter's wedding! Two thumbs up! What a wonderful day, wonderful music, wonderful DJ!!!

The team at Olivera Music was great to work with as we quickly through together a wedding for our Son and now daughter-in-law in Sept 2017. We had less than 3 months to prepare for the wedding, the team was super responsive and flexible to work with and lined us up with a great DJ. DJ/MC Alex was professional, on-time, worked well with our day of coordinator, and spun the tunes that people wanted to here and dance to. All around, a great experience! Thanks to DJ/MC Alex for a great evening and the team at Olivera Music.

Chelle and Kevin were so wonderful to work with. We hired a string quartet and a trumpet soloist (Doug), all of whom were incredibly professional, punctual, and uplifted our ceremony with delightful music. They were very open to working with some of my friends as soloists, and made our special day very memorable. I remember seeing one of our groomsmen singing along with them at the cocktail, and they just ran with it. They were professional through and through, and would recommend working with them. They were great, and have an extensive repertoire.

I had originally booked Connie to play the piano at an intimate family wedding in August 2017. Three weeks before the date, I changed the plan and my small wedding turned into an outdoor affair for 140 people on a different date! I immediately reached out to Kevin and asked if he could help me sort through our music options on such short notice. He immediately went to work and we were able to re-book Connie to play her beautiful piano music before the ceremony through the recessional. Our guests were then treated to Lee who was an amazing DJ for the remainder of the evening. Both were excellent and I would hire them again in a minute. While I was very organized (had to be to pull this kind of switch at the last minute), they immediately teamed with me to discuss options and find out what we wanted and truly helped me think of things I had not! My biggest compliment is to Kevin and the team is for being nimble, talented AND experienced with large (and small) events like this. My wedding was prefect and so much fun because of our decision to go with Olivera Music Entertainment.

Kevin and a group of other musicians played at my wedding and it was amazing. He was incredibly accommodating and flexible - willing to rearrange the group and the instruments to create a group that could play the music I envisioned. They did not know the song I wanted played as I walked down the aisle, but they learned it and it was perfect! Before our wedding, Kevin came out to the site to do a walk through with me, my friend, and the wedding coordinator and we had a great time figuring out where to set up, the flow of the ceremony, the evening, etc. Their level of customer service and attention to detail is second to none. I had a perfect wedding - relaxed and fun - and Olivera Music made it possible!

DJ Ray was amazing! We were able to provide all the music we must have and the music that we absolutely did not want at the reception. He also was great at feeling the crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor. We loved him because he is the type of DJ who does not try to "steal the show" like others who try to take over the reception and make it all about them. Everyone keeps raving how awesome the reception and dancing was. we highly recommend DJ Ray!

Absolutely wonderful!!! Olivera Music was a pleasure to work with from the music planning stages to my daughter's wedding day! We could not have been more pleased. We were so happy with the musicians and DJ. The strings for the ceremony and cocktail hour were just beautiful, and played a great variety of music. They played several special songs for our day. The gorgeous piano dinner music was so wonderful and added such a special touch to the dinner hour-fantastic and had people in a festive mood. DJ Ray was fun and fabulous as well as personable and had a huge crowd on the dance floor all night! Wow! I have never seen so many people dance for so long, and that was exactly what we wanted-a fun dance party with lots of people on the dance floor! Our daughter's wedding was one of the best days of our life, and the music was the backdrop of the day, the heartbeat of the celebration, and a big part of our memories. I look forward to working with them again. They were reliable, responsive, and so much fun to plan with. Most importantly, they understood what we wanted, and we were overjoyed with the results!

Kevin was the tech at our wedding and did a wonderful job. He had everything ready before I even noticed, adapted to some unexpected timing changes during our reception, and did everything perfectly without needing any of our time.

This is the second event we have hosted where Olivera provided outstanding music! They were by far the easiest vendor we worked with - engaging, interested, flexible and informative. We had both classical piano music for a rehearsal dinner venue and a string trio for our daughters wedding reception. Just fabulous musicians and a great addition to the celebration.

We had a great experience with Olivera. They were professional and flexible, and the violinist we hired (Janet) was excellent. She was also very accommodating with our special song requests for our ceremony. I would definitely recommend their services for your wedding.

Olivera Music was so incredibly easy and great to work with! We had Linda King (harpist) and Paul Nangeroni (violinist) play for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were just beautiful!!! We received so many compliments for them. Linda called me a few weeks before the wedding and talked me through it and answered all my questions. The entire process was seamless. I highly recommend going with Olivera Music Entertainment and Linda and Paul for your musicians!!

This was such a fun part of our wedding preparation. We had some pieces in mind already but Olivera sent us a list of their repertoire which was very helpful. We changed our minds, last minute, too, about some of the music and they couldn't have been nicer about it. They were so professional. It gave our venue and ceremony a polish it would have lacked without them. I would hire them again and I recommend them without reservation.

I had a violinist and cellist to play for my ceremony and cocktail hour. I wanted some very special, meaningful songs to be played as I walked in and during the ceremony. They were able to play those songs with no trouble and they sounded amazing! Chelle (who leads the group, but did not play at our event) was great to work with on the phone to ensure that they would be able to meet all of my requests. I wasn't at the cocktail hour, but I hear the music was lovely there as well. I would highly recommend this group as they were very easy to work with, not overly expensive (helped to only use 2 instruments), and very talented!

I hired Olivera for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on May 7, 2016. All of the musicians were excellent - they arrived on time, played great music, and were very professional. Always ask to here the musical selections you choose! We had booked through a different agency a guitarist and later found he could not play our requested song nor did not want to learn it. Luckily my fantastic florist, Rick, gave me the scoop for Olivera Music. Kevin not only made it so easy to book a guitarist, he sent useful ceremony info, and came to meet us at the wedding venue the week prior. Our guitarist, Bryan, was awesome.

We were referred to Kevin by a friend and we're certainly glad we were. Right off the bat, he worked with us to stay within our budget but achieve our desired outcome. One of our requests was a bit unique - we wanted a traditional New Orleans' style Second Line procession from our ceremony to reception. Kevin found the perfect band who transitioned from playing ceremony music to playing as a full-on brass band for the Second Line. Simply put, it made our wedding.

The Olivera Trio provided the perfect musical setting for our wedding at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. They got rave reviews from our guests including some who are musicians themselves. We couldn't have been more pleased!

Kevin & Connie were very gracious, knowledgeable and practical in helping us with the planning--and very attentive to our wishes. The execution by the trio and Imani, the vocalist, was spot on--the selections, the performance, the variety, the timing--all very smooth, professional and appropriate.

We enjoyed them as people and highly recommend them to others.

Kevin and Connie were fantastic to work with - even though we first contacted them not long before our event! We used Olivera Music Entertainment for our wedding in April. We had Manny play accordion at our cocktail hour, and he did an amazing job! We also had DJ Ray for our reception. I cannot say enough great things about DJ Ray. We received so many compliments about what a great DJ he was. We gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear and he blended them seamlessly to each other. He kept the party going from start to finish. The dance floor was always packed! Olivera music provided a string duo to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour for our outdoor wedding at vineyard in Virginia. Olivera music were extremely professional and responsive during the entire process. The musicians on the day were on time, dressed immaculately and played beautiful music for us and our guests. Ray was an amazing DJ! Got everybody dancing - dance floor was filled all night long, from the 2 year old niece to the grandparents, people that had never even met were dancing together! Most everybody stayed until the very end, and it was a long, 5 hour reception from 6-11 (after a 3 hour gap) He played an excellent mix of what we wanted - Latin music, 80's, some 90's, some contemporary music, some slow music... he did a great job of going through the songs and styles we selected and picking ones that people could dance to and leaving off the ones that weren't danceable (such as Def Leppard and Billy Idol). Music volume was excellent - nice and low-volume, decent non-distracting selection of music during dinner (I don't even remember what was played, but it wasn't awkward silence and clanging plates), and during the dancing part, the volume was loud enough to dance, but not so loud that guests couldn't talk.

He was great at reading people and smoothly moving things along - cocktail hour, seating everybody, introductions, the first dance (he had the great idea of doing the first dance right after the introduction - never would've thought of it!), dinner, and then once everyone had eaten and before they got bored, did the toasts, the father/daughter mother/son dances, etc...

The lights were beautiful - purple uplighting on the walls, and some lights shining on the ceiling and the floor. Definitely recommend at least uplights - they give a place a nice atmosphere.

Ray was really good at last minute changes - after cake-cutting, we spontaneously decided to do a bouquet toss (originally we had said no), and it was not a problem - Ray gathered everyone, improvised, and put on Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies."

He was really accommodating, even drove a couple hours from his home to meet us one weeknight at the reception. Very polite, personable, flexible, helpful, made everything run smoothly. Highly recommend!

Olivera Entertainment was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding day. They supplied both our guitarist and DJ. The guitarist was Brian, and Ray was our DJ. We’d originally met DJ Ray and the Olivera Entertainment group at a wedding showcase provided by our venue. That they selected to feature DJ Ray and Olivera was something that stuck out to us, and after we decided to go with them, it was clear to us why. Kevin was so knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive during our wedding planning process, which really set our minds at ease.

Our ceremony had originally been set for outside. Brian and Ray had both set up their sound equipment and everything, but half an hour before the ceremony, it began to lightly rain. They were very understanding and flexible, and were able to help move everything inside for the ceremony to begin on time. Prior to the wedding day, both Brian and Ray had been very responsive to our requests and needs. Considering how suddenly the rain started, we were so glad that we could count on them and their professionalism.

DJ Ray especially was a crucial part of our wedding day. During the dinner and reception, he acted as our Master of Ceremonies. He was always very tuned in to what was going on, making small adjustments here and there so we would have enough time to eat and make our way around the tables, greeting guests. Finally, when it came time to dance, Ray did SUCH an amazing job with the music. All the songs flowed seamlessly into one another, and our guests raved about what a great DJ Ray was. He made our night such a blast. We’re so grateful to Olivera Entertainment for helping us make our wedding day so fun and special!

We thoroughly enjoyed Dennis as the DJ for our wedding. We were able to sit down and meet him before booking with Olivera which we found to be a wonderful benefit of working with this company.

At that meeting Dennis was interested in learning about us as a couple as well as what our vision was for the wedding. He shared some insights on "what works and what doesn't work" for wedding music and was very willing to answer all of our questions.

Before the wedding he called us to make sure we didn't have any additional questions or concerns and then took the time to personally meet everyone in the bridal party. He respected our wishes on the "do not play" and "be sure to play" lists and made a personal effort to accomodate every request made by our wedding guests. Our guests of all ages had great fun dancing to the vareity of music Dennis played and thought he did a great job keeping the party going. He was preofessional, courteous, and in-touch with the feel of the wedding.

We could not have asked for a better DJ or company to make our wedding the event we wanted!

We hired Pianist Connie and soloist/guitarist Ariel for our wedding and Connie to continue in a one hour cocktail music following the ceremony. Olivera Music crafted a uniquely special song list marking our history and feelings as a couple for our outdoor ceremonyt. Kevin first walked us through a lot of options of bands and music to meet our vision as a musical couple (we met at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and share a love for live music and the outdoors.) Connie is such a talented pianist and beautifully plays any and everything. She agreed to meet with us at her home and walk us through our choice pieces and both suggest and choreograph a play list that flowed wonderfully. Ariel Francis willingly performed 4 jam band and rock pieces with Connie--- 2 by Van Morrison, 1 by Warren Haynes "Soulshine", and a finisher by the Beatles "All you need is Love". They wore formal attire and held up without complaint in the warm weather. They really made our ceremony complete!

We really enjoyed working with Olivera Music! Our music planning experience was super easy thanks to their responsiveness and professionalism. Due to a family emergency, our initial DJ was unable to work our wedding. Kevin called immediately to inform us and he set us up with another DJ with the company. What could have been very stressful at that point in our wedding planning, ended up not being a problem at all. The transition to our DJ was seamless and we loved him. DJ Brian played the music we wanted and other music that went well with our taste. He did a nice job directing the wedding and keeping everyone on the dance floor! Absolutely amazing! We went to their home office to listen to ceremony music options and watch some demo reels of potential bands for the reception. We decided on a Spanish guitar & violin for the ceremony and an incredible band called Invitation for the reception. One of our main goals for our weddinig day was to get people dancing and without a doubt we achieved our goal. All of our guests were raving about the band and I actually had people call me the next day to tell me how sore they were!! Kevin and Connie made everything so easy - would recommend them any day.

Kevin, Connie and their coworkers at Olivera Music Entertainment were wonderful. My fiance and I did not have many strong preferences and they helped us choose just the right music to make our wedding beautiful and memorable. Music for our daughter's wedding at Oatlands Plantation was a very high priority.

Of course, we were searching for a great band. Our goal was to create a romantic environment by incorporating music from the moment our guests stepped out of their cars in the parking lot through the entire evening.

As a result, Kevin Olivera helped us with the following:
Band selection for Dinner and Dancing --- Steppin Out, who were fantastic.
Music selection for band's repertoire
Development of five music stations for the walk from the parking lot to the ceremony area
Selection of love songs encompassing multiple genres from classic through country
Selection of music for the wedding ceremony and cocktails and
Selection of a DJ with technicians.

Kevin is personal, creative and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he executed and delivered on all of the above.

Many of our guests complimented us on the entire music component. The dance floor was always full and our guests would still be dancing if we did not have to stop due to requirements at the venue.

We had high expectations and Kevin exceeded them. We would recommend Olivera Entertainment Productions to any one including our best friends.

The band - Rendezvous - absolutely exceeded all expectations! The music is still being talked about as a highight of the night and the dance floor was always full!!! This part of the wedding planning was so easy and so fun to go through with Kevin and his team! There wasn't a step missed and such great attention to all the details important to the bride & groom! DJ Ray was wonderful. He coordinated everything during the reception. Besides providing the music, he made all of the announcements and organized the needed parties for each event (photographer, bride, groom, wedding party, etc.). Because of Ray, we, the parents of the bride were able to relax and enjoy the reception. In addition, we had a slight delay in the start of the wedding ceremony. Due to heavy rain, several of our guests were late in arriving. We decided to delay the ceremony until they arrived. Ray spoke with the Anthem String Trio (also provided by Olivera Music Entertainment) and they were gracious enough to continue with the prelude music for longer than was originally anticipated. Ray also made an announcement to the guests sitting in the chapel, as to why there was a delay in the ceremony. So, we were very grateful to him for smoothing things over and keeping everyone calm. The music he provided at the reception was just right. We would definitely hire him again.

DJ Brian handled the music at our wedding. He did a great job and got everyone dancing even though it was 106 degrees that day. He is a real professional and has a great sense of what works well for a wedding reception. He went out of his was to help us plan the structure of our reception as well.

Olivera Music was fantastic to work with! My first contact was with Kevin, who contacted the musicians and DJ who he thought would be best for what we needed for our wedding. The duo during the ceremony and cocktail hour were fantastic and DJ Ray provided awesome music during our dinner and dancing. Much of my husband's family speaks Spanish and DJ Ray was also able to make annoucements in both English and Spanish which was very important to us. Olivera Music definitely made finding our musicians and DJ extremely easy and we are so happy we contacted them!

Olivera Music and DJ Brian provided first class service for my daughter's wedding. Olivera took the time to match us with DJ Brian, who was a terrific fit for couple. The couple had a few unique requests and DJ Brian was able to accomodate them completely. He was impectably dressed and arrived extra early to ensure everything was in place prior to the event. There were no mistakes made and in fact, he was the one who signaled for each member of the wedding party to begin their walk down the aisle. I would definately recommend Olivera Music and DJ Brian!!!!!

Connie provided beautiful classical piano pieces during our wedding cocktail hour. Olivera Music was wonderful to work with. We received forms / suggestions to help guide us in music selection for the ceremony as well as the reception. In the end, it was a combination of our input and the harpist and DJ's recommendations and we were in trusted hands and ended up with a fantastic selection

If you are looking for a talented, professional live music group for your wedding or any special occasion, the musicians of Olivera Music will not disappoint you. They were happy to travel a great distance to make our wedding special and were extremely accommodating in every aspect. Their talent is endless and they provided a very "classy" reception for this special event. The bride and groom are both musicians as well as many of their guests so the expectations were high. No one was disappointed and you will not be either.

How are there not more reviews on Olivera Music?? We booked Rendezvous for our reception and Just the Two of Us for our ceremony/cocktail hour music. Before I even being to talk about them, I have to talk about how easy and helpful Olivera was to get in touch with. I dealt with Kevin Olivera, the owner, who was amazing to work with. Emails answered VERY quickly, really good/honest advice and guidance as to what band(s) you might want, how big you need the band, what type of music you want. That brings me to Rendezvous, the band that played for our reception. He also plays bass for the band!
My absolute favorite part about my entire wedding was the band (Rendezvous). They really guided the "mood" for the entire evening and went far beyond my expectations. Everyone came up to me during and after saying how amazing the band was and asking who they were. I knew they were going to be good, but I never realized how good they were going to be!
They definitely took in the atmosphere and the crowd and headed in the direction that was perfect for the guests, that is what takes any band to that next level (from good to great). When I look back at the pictures and the memories that were made that night, there is music playing in the background with those memories and pictures . . . I will never forget the music. It means so much to me that they did such an amazing job.

We hired DJ Ray of Olivera Entertainment to DJ our wedding reception, and right from the start, he was great. We spoke to him a few times before hiring him and he answered all of our questions and gave us a very good feeling.
Before the wedding, we met and discussed the details. Ray's experience and input helped us make some decisions we were having trouble with. His insight was really helpful.
Because there was so much going on, we didn't get around to making a couple of decisions until the morning of the wedding. We sent Ray an email telling him the decisions, and we told him that if he had time, we would appreciate if he could find two specific songs to play during the reception. (We did not expect him to find/play the songs, though, given the short notice.)
Ray not only found the exact versions we wanted, but he played them at just the right time.
During and after the wedding, several people told us how great the DJ was. Our wedding coordinator was raving about how great he was, and how he really helped her. My father mentioned that Ray confirmed that he and I had the same last name. He was surprised that Ray considered everything. All of our guests said that the music selection was great. We had a broad age range for our guests, and Ray catered to all of them through his music selection.
Overall, Ray's professionalism and attention to detail were excellent. He didn't let anything fall through the cracks, and he helped to make our day special. We highly, highly recommend Ray and we would hire him again instantly.

Brian was a fantastic DJ for our wedding! We were thrilled with him from our first meeting. He went above and beyond what we expected from a DJ.

Brian worked with us on selections we definitely wanted played and selections on our "Do Not Play" list. Olivera Music Entertainment provided us lists of suggested songs for various portions of the reception. This proved very helpful for us, as we were a bit overwhelmed with the many many choices out there.

His professionalism the day of the wedding was excellent. Unbeknownst to me, he even worked with my sister, the maid of honor, a week before the wedding, on a song she wanted to sing for us. We HIGHLY recommend Brian for your wedding or special event!

DJ Ray did an excellent job at our wedding! It would not have been the same without him. He easily read the crowd and kept the dancing going for much of the night. He also did a wonderful job interacting with all of the other vendors and performers at our wedding and keeping the events flowing easily from one to another. An excellent choice for any event!

I cannot say enough about both Connie who provided the ceremony and cocktail hour music and Dennis who was our DJ during the dinner and reception following. Both of them worked with us to make sure our needs were met in regards to our music.

DJ Alex and Olivera Music were incredibly easy to work with, both in preparing for and day of the event. DJ Alex was very professional and coordinated with our venue and officiant to make sure there wasn't a hitch in our ceremony. On top of that, he threw a great party just like we were looking for and everyone had a blast. If we were to do it all over again, we would definitely use their services and DJ Alex specifically, again!

The entire process with Olivera Music was effortless. The prior experience with our venue, 2941 Restaurant, proved invaluable as our outdoor ceremony was rained out and all the plans changed the day before. DJ Ray handled everything behind the scenes and we never had to be involved. Everything went off perfectly - no issues. If you are looking for a highly professional, organized and flexible music provider then I highly recommend Olivera Music - without reservation.

Olivera Music provided a harpist for the ceremony music at my wedding. Kristen played a solo harp for the prelude and ceremony music. Music was beautiful and Kristen was well prepared and easy to work with. The staff at Olivera also was good to work with and very good with communication. Only slight hickup was Kristen was supposed to contact us the week of the wedding and she forgot due to scheduling. This was easily overcome because the wedding coordinator called her the day before and she was very responsive. In addition, Olivera Music followed up after the event and was very good about following up with the missed communication. I would highly recommend Olivera Music.
