  20/10 would recommend

  When my now husband and I sat down to say what was important to us when planning our wedding, my #1 request was that Rachel be apart of our day. She truly has a gift of capturing the essence of a couple and their day and she creates a time capsule that you can watch and relieve anytime you want. She captured both of my sister's weddings before me and every time I view them (which was many many times), I felt like I was there again. When spending so much time, energy and money into your wedding, this service is one that is invaluable to remember your day. Although a picture captures the beauty, a video captures your feelings and it is such a gift to have that. On top of all of this, she is organized, efficient and has the best, calming energy. You will feel so seen and confident with a vendor like her! Thank you so much Rachel for being apart of our day!

  A Brilliant Storyteller!

  There are some elements of a wedding day that will be out of your control (like an unforeseen 2 inches of rain), but if you can choose your vendors and if you choose to work with Rachel and her Olive Ewe team it will make all the difference! From the second Rachel arrived on our wedding day she set to work making sure we had everything in place so that we could capture our wedding day details. Rachel was out in the pouring rain with a smile on her face and was always looking for the best shot. She made sure that I got my dress bustled and that my husband and I had time to practice our first dance because she knew it was important to us! Having Rachel as your videographer – you really have an extra person on your side making sure the day is flawless and perfect for you as a couple.
  
  My husband and I spent a lot of time researching videographers and watching video after video. Rachel’s videos immediately stood out to us. She is able to capture the uniqueness of each couple and each wedding day in her videos. Rachel takes the time to truly get to know you as a couple and she is BRILLIANT in bringing each couple’s story together through the music she selects, speech fragments, couple interviews, and vows/letters. We were so excited to have an Olive Ewe Productions video of our own and WOW did Rachel deliver. Our Film is a perfect encapsulation of our day and we had so much fun watching back through our full ceremony and reception with our family. We will forever cherish the memories Rachel captured of our wedding day. We feel so fortunate to have been able to work with Rachel and her team and could not recommend them more.

  Must Hire!

  Where can I even begin! This long overdue review is truly for the most worthy videographer. We were married in September 2021 and were lucky enough to have worked with Olive Ewe Productions and the amazing Rachel. From the beginning, Rachel made my husband and I feel comfortable, listened to, and excited to add videography to our day. Our check-ins felt like we were meeting with an old friend, while still keeping professionalism and poise at the forefront. She even counseled us through some Covid scares and anxieties along the way. When all was said and done, we could not have been happier to have chosen her for our day. She perfectly captured our story, all the while including some very personal touches along the way -- including our proposal video seamlessly weaved into our footage, shots of our two pups who were apart of the ceremony, and every special moment we didn't witness ourselves throughout the night! You can immediately tell the care and compassion Rachel add to each one of her films, from the initial contact to the final editing. If you are lucky enough to be one of her couples, you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Rachel!

  Working with Rachel should be any couples easiest and best decision.

  Being a 2020-turned-2021 wedding was inevitably going to create hiccups, and we were so beyond fortunate to have Rachel on our side! From our initial moments stalking her site (which in itself shows how fun and detail-oriented she is!), every phone call, and even our masked up meeting in her driveway in the rain, we knew that she was going to have the most amazing energy to shoot our day. When the wedding day finally arrived she’d already coordinated with every speaker, drafted a plan for mic’ing up our officiant and us, and was ready to roll with every punch. She worked seamlessly with all our other vendors, her second shooter was unbelievable, overall she was just an amazing asset to our wedding day! And then… she rocked together a quick cut of our ceremony within 3 days for some family who couldn’t make it which was just so impressive. And finally - our video. We laughed, we cried, we had friends texting us they were airplaying it their apartments over and over. The fun and detail-oriented Rachel went BEYOND our dreams with the most amazing film that truly captured the energy of our day and we are so incredibly grateful. Working with her should be any couples easiest and best decision.

  We can't say enough amazing things about our entire experience with Rachel. From our introduction call, through her presence at our wedding, and even through the end-result - Rachel acts with deep thoughtfulness every step of the way. She is extremely dedicated to her craft. We were completely blown away when seeing our wedding video. The video was so creative, romantic, and personal to our story. Rachel absolutely nailed it. We were referred to her by a friend of a friend, and have kept the referral chain going. She's easy to brag about... her work speaks for itself! So many couples are on the fence about hiring a videographer. I promise she is worth every single penny. We are so grateful to have live footage that so perfectly captured our day.   wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!

  We love our video!!! I will just start by saying that the first time I watched the film she made us I immediately just started hysterically sobbing as soon as I heard one of the instrumental songs she used which is featured in pride and prejudice which is one of my favorite and most emotional songs ever. I hadn’t ever said anything about that but she heard my husband mention Jane Austen in his vows, and thought I might like it. And THATTTT is the attention to detail Rachel will give to you! We got married in September 2020 so obviously had a lot of pivots and changes to our plans but Rachel was super amenable to everything and in addition to the footage of the day, she completely handled our live stream the day of so we wouldn’t have to worry about any of that - which was great! We didn’t have to worry about any of the microphones or logistics and Rachel is SO SO organized that she will completely think of everything you could ever possibly need. She was so unobtrusive the day of and got amazing footage. She turned around the editing also SO FAST!!!!!! We couldn’t believe how quickly we got our film back and I immediately just started sobbing because it was so incredible. THANK YOU!!!!

  Amazing Experience

  Rachel was SO incredible to work with. We originally were to be married in June of 2020 and had to move the wedding 4 times due to covid. We did finally get married in May of 2022, and Rachel worked with us the entire time. She kept in touch, and was so organized throughout. She got to know us as a couple, and did such a beautiful job brining our whole relationship together through our wedding video. Leading up to the wedding, she checked in and gave us a timeline of what to expect the day of the wedding. She reached out to friends and family that were included in our ceremony and doing toasts to make sure they knew who she was and that she would need to mic them etc. The actual day of the wedding, she arrived when she said she would, and was with us all day. She kept us on time, and coordinated with all our vendors. She was truly a joy to work with. She even ran down an ice cream truck mid ceremony to ask him to turn the music off. The final product was better than anything we could have imagined. It is such a beautiful video and I am so happy to have it for years to come. Rachel is a wonderful, amazing and talented individual and I would recommend her 100 times over to anyone asking.

  The Most Incredible Wedding Video!!

  I would 10000000% recommend Rachel and her team. Rachel and her team created the most amazing wedding video I could have only dreamed of! Rachel was recommended to my by one of my bridesmaids and booking her was easily one of the best decisions I made. Rachel's incredible attention to detail and organization was so apparent from our first telephone conversation all the way to our wedding day. She made us feel at ease and that we could trust she had everything taken care of. She helped us even plan our wedding day timeline to ensure it flowed beautifully. Rachel and her team worked so well with our photographers to ensure our wedding was captured perfectly and seamlessly blended into our day. She also loved our dog and made sure our dog equally starred in our video!!! We were at first nervous about the "interview" portions of the video, but Rachel made us feel so comfortable and really picked out the most important parts of our relationship in order to tell our story through video. I have already watched our video probably 500 times, it is so good!!!! So many people continue to tell us how Rachel's wedding video was the best they have ever seen! Rachel made certain she got all the best shots and had the best lightening to make our video so perfect. We are so thankful to have gotten the chance to get to know Rachel and LOVE our wedding video. If you are on the fence about having a videographer, don't be, BOOK RACHEL!! She's amazing and she will make sure you have the best video possible!

  Incredible Experience With Olive Ewe Productions

  Rachel from Olive Ewe Productions was an absolute LIFESAVER at our wedding in Vermont. It rained on and off that afternoon, yet we were determined to have an outdoor ceremony. Rachel literally SAVED our wedding ceremony by having a spare speaker and PA system on hand that she set up within minutes when the system our band set up was fried. This was just one example of how Rachel continually impressed us before, during, and after our wedding day.
  
  My wife and I did not take the decision to hire a videographer lightly. Capturing the beauty and love of our wedding weekend on video was one of our absolute must-haves and we spent hours researching different vendors. To say that Rachel and Olive Ewe Productions was a perfect fit for us is truly an understatement. The second we saw Rachel’s videos on her website and the heartfelt emotion that was captured in each one, we knew she was the right videographer for our day. From Rachel’s amazing attention to detail, to her video chats and phone conversations leading up to our special day, to her suggestions for how to alter our wedding timeline, we found her expertise invaluable. She was fun to work with and put us at ease while also sharing a love for puppies and alpacas.
  
  We feel so confident in Rachel that we are writing this review before even seeing the final video! We decided last minute we wanted to add a sneak peek video to our package and Rachel accommodated this request, completing it in less than 24 hours.   Incredible

  Hire Rachel. She will capture your day better than you remember it. We haven’t stopped watching our wedding videos (yes plural because she is that amazing)- she not only captures your whole day, but she makes sure to include your love story through her clever interview styles. Audio was super important to us and she nailed it- better than we imagined. We were planning our east coast wedding while living in California and Rachel was the easiest of all of our vendors to work with. She made herself available, listened to our requests and concerns, and was so responsive- even at odd hours!! She truly cares about the couple, their family and friends and will be sure to capture the day how YOU want it. I’m currently trying to think of ways to hire her again. We adored her and her team, by the end of of wedding, we felt we made another friend. She’s worth every penny.

  The best wedding video you will ever imagine

  Rachel and her team created a wedding video that FAR exceeded what my husband and I imagined was possible to capture. Rachel's attention to detail from the meet and greet to our wedding day was uncanny. So much of what can make a video great is the set up of environments, as well as small adjustments within a moment. Rachel has the vision to know just how to make a moment stunning, and she did this masterfully in partnership with our wedding photographer. If you're on the fence about having video for your wedding, I can assure you that Rachel and her team meld seamlessly into the day with an incredible "behind the scenes" hustle. When it came to editing, I know Rachel worked tirelessly to perfect our video so it was unique and true to our story. When she learned we had gone to Brazil to visit family and that I had iPhone video clips from that trip, she asked for them and poured over each to find perfect micro-moments to include in our piece. This was incredibly meaningful to us, the individuals in these clips are no longer with us or were not able to attend our wedding, and it was so special to have them included. Rachel will create the best wedding video possible that you will watch for years to come.

  Rachel is crazy talented

  My husband and I first met Rachel in December of 2017 at his cousin's New Years Eve wedding. At the time we were not engaged -- but I knew Rachel would be one of the first vendors we would book for our big day after watching his cousin's wedding video. She took so many clips from the ceremony, pictures and dance floor and made everyone look like movie-stars.
  
  Rachel provided the same service for us. I cried after our teaser was released and cannot wait to see the full 10 minute video. My parents, husband and friends are all so impressed with Rachel's work and timeliness!

  In a sentence, Rachel went above and beyond. We could not be more pleased with our choice to work with Olive Ewe Productions. Rachel was professional, engaged, and truly excited to film our wedding day. She set up several meetings prior to our big day to make sure all of the details were ironed out, and to learn as much as she could about our relationship, each of us as individuals, and what we were looking to get out of the day. On the actual day, she was a bada** in action. I have memories of Rachel running around to capture the perfect shot. Rachel also worked seamlessly alongside our photographer. We would 1000% endorse her - she absolutely added to our wedding day in the most positive way. Also, "Olive Ewe Productions" - come on! She has a pun in her company name! Amazing. Another point worth mentioning (there's so many things I could add, it's hard to choose!), when Rachel's airbnb accommodations didn't work out, she found an alternative hotel an HOUR away without mentioning a peep of the incident to me or my husband. Another person would have complained, but Rachel made it seem like no big deal and did not let her snag affect our day in the slightest.   Words can’t describe Rachel’s genius. We couldn’t have dreamed up the masterpiece that she put together of our wedding day. We didn’t think it was possible to truly re-live the day through a video, but the second we watched what Rachel created we were both transported back to the night, goosebumps and all. I think everyone I showed cried happy tears. She has an incredible ability to capture all of the little moments throughout the night that you want to remember. We are so thankful that we have such an incredible gift that is our wedding video thanks to Olive Ewe. We give our highest recommendation and can’t thank the team enough for creating such an amazing wedding keepsake.

  Rachel is such a joy to work with! I knew as soon as we spoke over the phone that she'd be our wedding day videographer. She even agreed to meet my husband and I before we signed the contract to ensure we had all of our questions answered and we felt comfortable with her. She's extremely responsive, knowledgeable about the industry, and even helped us pick our wedding day photographer (who we loved!). We are completely blown away by the quality of our wedding video! She tells a beautiful story through the video, and focuses on us and our families rather than all of the little details. We are so pleased we found her and have such beautiful memories of our special day!

  We were not planning to book a videographer for our wedding day but it was easily the second-best decision we made – the best decision was choosing Rachel to capture our wedding for us! After our initial Skype meeting with Rachel, we knew she was the videographer for us. Rachel is so thoughtful and inventive with her wedding videos. We spoke to her multiple times before the wedding so that she could really get to know us – we were even able to meet with her a couple months before the wedding to go over some questions she wanted to ask us and shoot our responses to on the day. She didn’t want us to be surprised or caught off guard! She was so present and helpful on the actual wedding day and made us feel completely at ease. During the video-making process, she lets you be an active participant and give input on what you would like to see in your video as well as asking you for song choices. Her product is unbelievable – the files are high resolution and beautiful. The turn-around time was extraordinarily fast and we were so excited to share our videos with our family and friends! We ended up ordering extra DVDs and USBs from Rachel – she makes the process so simple and seamless. She was super responsive and easy to get-in-touch with during the planning process, and even after the wedding. She captured so many moments that we both missed because there is just so much going on, and it's so hard to take it all in at once. Within 2 weeks, Rachel sent us the first cut of our trailer and movie which were absolutely perfect! The way she pieced our stories of how we met and got engaged in the beginning was incredible.
