Olde Dobbin Station was an absolute dream. The venue was easy to work with and they always responded quickly to any questions we had. Our guests loved the venue and still rave about how beautiful and unique it was. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone.

My new husband and I also saw this venue and it changed all of our wedding plans! This space is beautiful and still, bold and colorful. We initially planned to go to Vegas but we fell in love with this venue in one visit. It’s a bride and a wedding planners dream. It doesn’t require a lot of decorations to come to life but somehow has all the space and light needed to plan a magazine worthy affair! This was the best decision we made for our wedding. The staff was friendly and helpful along the way and we loved our coordinator Brittany. They made the last few weeks of our experience so pleasant from walking us through ordering beverages to last minute weather adjustments.

Hands down, Olde Dobbin Station is the most beautiful wedding venue. My husband and I did not want the typical Texas white barn wedding. If you do, you do you, no judgment. As soon as we walked in for our first tour, we knew that was it. This place is overflowing with history, beauty, and a uniqueness that our guests still talk about. Our pictures look phenomenal any area of ODS in the background. Carrie and Brittany were very helpful with everything especially since I was planning the wedding from California. Not only was the venue stunning, but it’s the best price you’ll find (probably) in all of Texas. Don’t hesitate, tour the venue and you’ll fall in love too!

This has been my dream venue for the past 5 years and on May 1, 2021 I was able to live out my dream by marrying my best friend in this gorgeous place. I could not recommend Olde Dobbin Station enough to anyone, it's simple beauty, dreamy layout, and the quaint little chapel are just 3 of the reasons why I am in love with this place. My wedding couldn't have been more perfect and I know a lot of that has to do with location. All of my guests raved about how pretty our wedding was, the ceremony site (chapel) and reception site (McCoy Station). I could go on and on, but you need to see this venue for your self to truly fall in love. Once you set your eyes on it, it's kind of impossible not to love it. Thank y'all so much again for hosting my dream wedding!

Wow, I cannot say enough about this venue. My daughter fell in love with this venue the moment she saw it. The venue speaks for itself as to its historic beauty, The staff at Old Dobbin were amazing. When speaking to Carrie the owner or Brittany the manager, I felt as though I was speaking to one of my friends. They were always prompt in answering our many, many questions, and gave advise when asked. They didn’t seem to be bothered by this nervous mom. Lol
If you are looking for a venue that is not only absolutely stunning, but your guest will rave about, and has a great staff of years and years of experience then Olde Dobbin Station is for you.

I. Am. In. Love. Y’all, this is your venue. Whether you want a rustic, modern, vintage, eclectic, etc. wedding vibe, this place is perfect for you. It is absolutely breathtaking both inside each of the buildings and also outside. We actually didn’t have too much decor because of how beautiful this place already is. Which saves time getting it ready AND money👍🏼 I had an outdoor wedding at the altar and an indoor reception in their big building. First of all, I worked with Brittany throughout my whole engagement. My engagement was about a year and 3 months so you can imagine how many questions you can think of in that time. I thought of them all and asked Brittany every single one of them. And without hesitation, Brittany was quick to respond and always gave a positive answer. If it was a no, she gave alternate options or different ways of doing it, which sometimes turned out better than the original plan! She kept in contact and was always willing to do whatever was needed in order to make the day run smoother for me. I never met Carrie, the other girl that runs ODS but I’ve heard nothing but good things. There was a time that I was having pretty big medical issues and we weren’t sure if we would/could continue with our wedding day, even though we had already booked ODS. I messaged Brittany and updated her on what was going on. Before she even mentioned our booking, she was quick to ask how I was doing and offer her help and support in any way possible. When we talked about moving our wedding date, she told us to not even worry about it, that they would reserve whatever day we decided to do and they would keep our date saved until we decided to change it. And when I told them my health was in the clear and we were good to go with our original date, her and Carrie cried happy tears with us!! I could go on and on about this venue and the people that keep it running, but I really want to say that I would highly consider looking into them more and booking them for your big day. You will NOT be disappointed. My wedding day was the best day ever and majority of the credit I give to the place where we made those memories. We will forever love Olde Dobbin Station!

I loved this venue. I hate the location. The GPS took me all over the place just to get there. Unfortunately this place is huge. My wedding party will be too small for it. I would definitely recommend this to someone else whose looking for a beautiful place .

I am so grateful to have been able to book my wedding at such a beautiful, one of a kind wedding venue!
Not only was the character of the chapel and reception hall unlike any other venue, Carrie(owner) and Brittany(manager) were unlike any other too. From the time I booked to the day of my wedding I felt welcome, important, and that they had everything taken care of! My guest count was 180 - and there was PLENTY of space. For the quality of the venue, owners/managers, the size of the space, the cost is priceless (which it is actually VERY affordable)! I can't thank Olde Dobbin Station and their team enough for such an easy and FUN experience. My wedding day was everything I could have imagined it to be and it all came to life because of ODS!

My daughter now lives in Austin, but grew up near Houston and wanted to get married in or near Houston. When she started searching for venues, Olde Dobbin Station was the only facility she even wanted to look at because they could hold more than 200 guests and she loved the photos on the website. Well, I have to tell you, the pictures do not even do the place justice. Her wedding was this past weekend and the beauty of the venue far surpassed our expectations. Not only is the place beautiful, but the acoustics in the building they use as the chapel are phenomenal! Everyone ohh and ahhed over the place! The reception hall is somewhat divided by three arches, so the dinner was served on one side of the room and the dance floor took up the other. Carrie and Brittany were so easy to work with and the staff on duty the night of our wedding was helpful and efficient. Look no further for the perfect venue to hold your next event...Olde Dobbin Station is the place!

My husband and I were married at Olde Dobbin Station on May 25th 2019. We planned our wedding from out of town (I'm originally from the Houston area) and we were so excited to find Olde Dobbin. Not only is the property gorgeous and has historical charm, but Brittany was awesome to work with. She always promptly answered any questions, was so friendly, and helped us with every detail. It was also great to be able to have the entire day to set up, have the wedding and tear down. Thank you for helping us make our day so special!!

AMAZING. We looked at what felt like 20+ venues around the Houston area before deciding on Olde Dobbin Station, and words cannot properly describe how glad we are that we chose ODS for our wedding day. As a former wedding planner, I was absolutely blown away by Brittany and the entire ODS team on their professionalism, punctuality, helpfulness, and overall incredible help leading up to and on our wedding day. Brittany was extremely attentive and accommodating, and her genuine spirit made planning our day so very easy. The feedback we received from vendors and guests alike was incredibly positive, and we are so grateful we chose ODS for our special day. I would not change one single thing, and I highly recommend this venue!

We fell in love with the place the second we saw it! Gorgeous venue and the lighting in the chapel is perfect. I could go on and on about how beautiful this place is and how great our photos turned out. Staff is absolutely wonderful. They are so responsive and helpful. They really want your day to be perfect! We got so many compliments from our guests about the venue!

I currently live out of state, so finding a venue along with all the other things that go into a wedding was already stressful. I came across Olde Dobbin Station when I was home for a couple weeks and took a chance to go and check it out. I instantly fell in love. When my fiance, now husband, came down I had the venues narrowed to down to a couple, and he also love Olde Dobbin Station. I loved the historical, industrial look without the barn/country feel. I was a little sad the day of because I wanted to get married outside by their beautiful pond, but it was torrential downpouring most of the day, but luckily they have the chapel as a backup. It was still beautiful and one of the best days ever. I got so many compliments on the venue and the staff. Brittany and Carrie were great and super helpful with all my emails back and forth while planning from far away.

I can't say enough good things about this venue. They were very receptive and willing to let me come and visit whenever I wanted. They handled situations in very professional ways, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Okay, let me tell you my story about Olde Dobbin Station.. Since the first day it was completed, my daughter said she wanted to get married there when ever she found someone to marry...well just laughed that off because she was still in school so like everything else, this too shall pass... well it didn't and when she fell in love and got engaged, that was the first thing she asked me... . I said no because I thought it was out of my price range...well did I learn fast... I thought of a place I thought would be nice to have a wedding, but learned fast I was responsible for doing everything... I asked myself, (do I really want do this)..the day my daughter got married, I turned 63, and learned fast I was too old to tackle this....at Olde Dobbin Station i didn't worry about anything...They gave plenty of vendors, florist, caterers etc to help you or you can find your own...I find flowers, decor is one of the most expensive things, but all you actually need there is the tables decorated.... you would not want to do anything else because the beautiful rustic building says it all... Don't worry about running out of beverages there... they always have extra...I have never seen anyone that was so hands on... Carrie, Brittany and staff is there for you... just turn around...okay yes, it may be a bit more, BUT not to have to worry about anything, well worth every penny and highly recommend this to anyone..such a beautiful and a moment you will never forget...I promise you.....

I was actually very blessed to grow up with Olde Dobbin Station literally in my backyard. So when I became engaged in November 2016 I knew where I wanted to have my wedding at. With a little persuasion towards my father I was blessed to be given the wedding of my dreams. My parents loved the idea of having everything there already. They had a bar set up along with bartenders and security which is a separate purchase but is totally worth it. My parents didn't have to go out and search for alcohol or bartenders or security. Along with all that there was a bridal sweat to get ready in and a groomsmen quarters for them to hang out. They have a full kitchen that you can use or store stuff in. We got to pick the vendors that we wanted, but ODS have amazing vendors that do a lot of business with them and know the facility inside and out. If you get a chance to go to one of there open houses I highly recommend it. Carrie is the owner and Brittany is her GM those ladies will go above and beyond to make it the wedding of your dreams. They will be honest and flexible and help you make the hard decisions, like on where to put little amount of money here or you might need a tad bit more there. If your working with a very limited budget don't worry this venue needs no decorations or lighting at all. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. There are several options on this property to actually have your wedding at. Right now I know the rustic/ barn weddings are a big craze, but that's the neat thing with this building it was actually built in the 1800's by Conoco Philips it was utilized as an pump station to pump oil to Conroe to Navasota. Eventually it became a banded in 1954. Years after with several different owners the McCoys purchased it and turned it into one of Texas's premier wedding venues. My husband and I wouldn't have changed one decision we made about our wedding, we were truly honored and blessed to have had our wedding at Olde Dobbin Station.

This venue to such a hidden gem! I happened to tour ODS with my fiancé and wedding coordinator, I had never heard of it and I was so glad that my coordinator brought us there. We loved the rustic industrial look that encompasses ODS. There is a main building and now a newly renovated chapel with bridal and grooms quarters. A few months before our wedding took place the owners began updates to the now chapel. It started off as an open space with no AC, very beautiful but not ideal for a Texas spring wedding. We had actually planned originally to do our ceremony in the main building but when then chapel was finished it was too perfect to pass up. The main building is very large and can accommodate a large weddings easily. This place is so great because you do not need to spend a lot of money on decorations to make it beautiful, it is so breathtaking on its own. The only thing I would have loved to have would be dark wood chivari chairs that were included with the venue. Picking linen to not make the provided white chairs pop was a little difficult with my navy and burgundy theme. Granted I was very thankful that the chivari chairs were included at all. And to top it all off, Carrie and Brittany are so friendly and easy to work with.

My husband & I immediately fell in love with ODS from the moment we drove up! We just couldn’t believe how gorgeous this venue was and we knew this was our place! We toured with Brittany and she was our main point of contact, but during my bridals my mom & I met Carrie and talked to her for a bit. They are both so kind, sweet and willing to help and answer any questions. Brittany was always very prompt in responding to emails and that is very much appreciated! The only issue when we toured and booked was that there wasn’t a designated area for my husband and his groomsmen to get ready other than the venue bathrooms, but they have since then added a groom’s suite & if it pretty sweet! The open building has now been closed up into a chapel and while I was envisioning our ceremony to be in an open building the renovations are absolutely gorgeous and those doors that Carrie’s husband made are so beautifully crafted! I will say that during our ceremony the a/c was shut off and that made it feel a bit warm in there. Other than that, all our guests were so in awe of ODS and our big day. Our parents and siblings all in other cities and we were so lucky to be allowed to show them the venue My husband & I choose ODS because we loved it, but we were not expecting all the compliments we got that day and afterwards. It was truly amazing to know that our special day was also special for our guests to witness in this beautiful venue! Thank you so much ODS team and can we just book our vow renewal / 25 year anniversary here already?! lol!

I would recommend this vendor to ANYONE getting married and planning their own wedding (no coordinator). Brittany and Carrie are beyond amazing and helpful and respond to all your questions. They send you a large email right after you book the venue that states all their rules, which is so helpful when planning! They are honest, flexible, and always willing to help. The venue itself is perfectly beautiful as well. I had minimal decorations (on a budget) and no one even cared because the building itself is stunning! I wouldn't have wanted my wedding at any other place. I am forever grateful and blessed that my wedding memories come from Olde Dobbin Station!

This place made our dream day perfect! Corbin was so helpful and sweet. I was slightly stressed because we got married during the flooding in this area. Corbin and Brittany both assured me that we would have a wedding and it would be perfect! From set up to the bar to decor, they were there every step of the way. They truly went above and beyond and I am so thankful for them. I could not image our day any other way and I am so thankful we had ODS to become husband and wife!

I got married at Olde Dobbin Station on December 31, 2015. Carrie helped me throughout my entire engagement (1.5 years) whenever I needed the smallest things. We toured the venue with her and absolutely fell in love. The venue has so many options for your ceremony and reception, the possibilities are endless and she helped us envision those. Carrie and her team were SO accommodating with every little thing, from helping with transportation, hotel blocks and even possible layouts. On the day/night of the wedding, Carrie showed up full force and made my day INCREDIBLE. She didn't have to help as much as she did, but she gladly helped my coordinator and I don't think I ever saw her take a break from making sure the night went off without a problem. Also, the bar tenders were incredible, they were so nice and cared for all of my guests so well. There was an issue with under age drinking and security (provided by ODS) handled the issue flawlessly and no drama took place, I didn't even realize anything happened until I was told by family the next day. They also kept such a close eye to keep my guests safe. All of the staff was so happy to help and didn't seem phased that they were working during the new year. Also the venue is so roomy, we had seating for 260 people and didn't even use the front area, leaving us so much room to dance. And it is so beautiful you don't need to spend any extra money on decor, but you totally could if you wanted to :) I love that I could bring in all of my own vendors. Carrie also let me come to ODS any time I wanted, as long as I let her know ahead of time and provided there was nothing else going on there. I got my bridals taken there, and was also able to come out multiple times to show my wedding coordinator. But one of the biggest pluses is that you get the venue starting at 8am the day of your wedding, and if the venue is open you can decorate the day before, I was able to do this and it helped tremendously! I can't recommend ODS enough

The BEST venue ever!! It was big enough to fit all of our family (300). Everyone who went to the wedding was so impressed on how beautiful the venue was. I remember I booked Olde Dobbin the day after my engagement. My friend was visiting this website a month before my husband proposed and I was so moved by the video they had on their website. I knew from that moment that when I had my wedding it would be there and I was so RIGHT! I loved everything!!!!!!!!! :)

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing our experience was with Olde Dobbin Station and their staff. From booking 1 &1/2 year advance to the day off. Any questions I had they were answered so quickly. So flexible with catering the day around what your dream wedding day needed. I love this place because Carrie (the owner) has really made it a pleasant experience when it comes to wedding planning. This venue is absolutely STUNNING! Perfect for my wedding reception and the staff is wonderful. Carrie is always so kind and accommodating anytime I contact her. They let you go visit as many times as you need before the wedding and you also have the option of taking bridal portraits there. I could not have imagined a more beautiful place to have a wedding.

Simply a beautiful venue! Carrie keeps it clean and in tip top shape , which is one of the things we loved about it. The options for set up are limitless. The place has so much character both inside and out that there really isn't a need for an over abundance of decorations. I would definitely suggest using preferred vendors who are familiar with the venue or at least have your chosen vendors make the trip out and familiar themselves with the place. At a minimum, get yourself a day of coordinator so you can relax! We are so happy we choose Olde Dobbin! Makes for amazing photos and videos!

Olde Dobbin Station allowed me to have my ultimate dream wedding! The venue is absolutely breath taking! If you want that vintage inspired look, this is the place to have your wedding! I was very pleased when working with the staff of Olde Dobbin Station. They answered all emails and phone calls accordingly. Olde Dobbin Station was the perfect venue for our daughter's romantic and vintage wedding held on Valentine's Day 2015. The outdoor chapel area was beautiful in its simplicity and could not have been more perfect - the day was sunny and the birdsong lovely. We especially loved the bridal dressing cottage. So many of our guests commented about the loveliness of the reception venue. The photographs of the venue site could not be more breathtaking. Thanks to all the staff at Olde Dobbin Station for being so attentive to our needs and requests and for helping to make Brooke and Caleb's Wedding Day a cherished memory.

I can not say enough about the wonderful Olde Dobbin station and their phenomenal staff. Corbin went out of her way to make our daughter's wedding perfect. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff is second to none. Our family and friends had a wonderful time at the wedding and raved all night about how beautiful everything looked. Old Dobbin Station was a magical venue for my daughters wedding. She was married outside in the old train depot and exactly at 5pm a train came thru it was like something out if a movie.that was not planned! We had the outside draped with lights and batting and they were married under a canopy I made from antique lace and handkerchiefs. The pathways were lit and as you walked into the reception the archways were covered with white drapes and the the two middle ones had beautiful twinkle lights. Behind the drapes were the tables and the entire place came to life. We had s'more and a cigar roller on the back porch. The staff was professional and I think everyone just had a great time! Everyone was so helpful and I would highly reeccomend this facility for your special day.

We had a WONDERFUL experience with ODS! Carrie and Corbin were extremely helpful throughout the process and were always available to answer our questions. Corbin was very professional and made our day run smoothly. She dealt with all of our vendors and when there was a problem she handled it. At the end of the night, even the groomsmen kept say, "That lady is awesome!"

This is a stunning venue. It was the perfect setting for our wedding! I dealt mainly with Corbin. She provided day-of coordination services for us and it honestly would have been a complete disaster without her. Corbin is phenomenal. Everything about our experience at Olde Dobbin Station was fantastic.

I got married here in March. It was truly my dream wedding. Plenty of room for a DIY bride like myself to my thing. The venue is so versitile. It's gorgeous as is, but can be easily put over the top. How simple or extravegant is all up to you. I loved all the freedom to choose. Having the venue all day was also a huge plus. We were able to take our time setting up and never felt rushed. Corbin as a day of coordinator was a DREAM! I didn't stress or worry about ANYTHING day of (even when we were short table linens. She had it taken care of before I even knew there was a problem). She is definetly worth every penny. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

ODS was the PERFECT wedding venue! I couldn't have imagined having my wedding anywhere else! It was BEAUTIFUL and unique. The owner is wonderful and easy to work with. You won't be disappointed if you choose this venue, and all your guests will be "wow"ed! I know mine were. :)

I absolutely fell in love with Olde Dobbin Station (ODS) the moment we walked in. The pictures just do NOT do it justice! The venue is breath taking with such intriquite features and details. All of our guests went on and on asking how we found such a beautiful venue. The best part of the venue is that is has history and a warm welcoming feeling. It does not feel like a fancy shell as did other venues I looked at. It provies a personal feel that was perfect for our intimate ceremony.

Corbin Mock was my coordinator and I cannot say enough about what a fantastic job she did. I did not have a rehearsal (GASP, I know) but I was confident everything run smoothly and sure enough, it did. Corbin was so organized and everything went smoothly. I was carefree the entire time which left me with time and energy to visit with guests and enjoy the wedding. Corbin took note of everything that was important to me and she made sure it happened. She truly went above and beyond for me the day of the wedding and even afterwards.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Olde Dobbin provided me the perfect setting for my dream wedding. It was incredible how many compliments I received on the venue. Carrie and Corbin were a pleasure to work with, always responding extremely quickly to my millions of questions. Can't thank them enough for their help in making everything run smoothly! Carrie and her team are amazing. You'd be hard pressed to find a more beautiful and well-kept venue, but the staff at Olde Dobbin Station are what made my wedding there so memorable. Bartenders were friendly and fair, and Corbin and Carrie know EXACTLY what they are doing to ensure each wedding goes off without a hitch. We were able to make full use of the sprawling property (even had a s'mores station outside!). It's clear that Carrie has fantastic relationships with all her vendors, so all teams were in synch the day of the wedding - we didn't have to think about a thing! We just sat back and truly had the best day of our lives. Extremely fair pricing and policies...we don't regret one cent. The ODS team made the planning process a relative breeze, and we wish we could relive that amazing day over and over again! Thanks to the McCoys for all they do!

You could not ask for a more beautiful location than ODS! I initially fell in love with it because of the pictures my photographer had from a previous wedding and then we went to see it in person... It was the beginning and end of our search! Of course meeting Carrie helped seal the deal, she understands all the decisions couples are faced with when wedding planning and has built their processes around her own experience. We had our ceremony is the unrestored "barn" and the reception in the larger restored building, our guests were blown away by the location and how well the McCoy's did when turning it into a wedding venue! There are also so many cool places to take photographs there!

ODS was a fantastic and beautiful venue. In my opinion they are very flexible and have very competitive pricing for rental and alcohol package. They have very high standards for the other vendors that are coming in which ultimately made for a wonderful reception. Corbin and the management team are extremely responsive and flexible to your needs as you plan for your big day. Also, Corbin was so attentive throughout the night. Our night was perfect and I believe that having our reception here really made it perfect. I would highly recommend this venue to others.

We fell in love with this venue online... when we saw it in person we new it would be the perfect place! The venue has so much character itself we didnt have to do much to make it absolutely beautiful. Corbin was great and was so helpful up to the actual day. We hired her for the "day of" coordinator and she was so helpful to make things go perfectly. My bridals there turned out amazing! Definately recomend this venue to anyone looking for a rustic yet classy place!

Olde Dobbin Station was a dream location to have my wedding reception! I loved the location, the scenery around the venue, and the hall itself is gorgeous. They allow you to bring in all of your own vendors which allows you to create exactly what you want for your occasion. You also can take your bridal pictures here, which I highly recommend, because there are so many great photo ops and it photographs extremely well. Carrie and Corbin, the owner and manager, are reason enough to book at ODS. They are so sweet and make the whole process fun and exciting! They are also super helpful at giving tips and making recommendations. Another great perk that is hard to find in other venues is the size of ODS. We sat over 300 people comfortably and still had a big dance floor and room for people to hang out. Olde Dobbin Station was the absolute perfect place for us!

My husband and I recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary and were reminded of just how amazing our wedding experience was! A very large part of that can be attributed to our venue. We cannot give enough thanks and praise to Carrie and her team at the beautiful, Olde Dobbin Station! From planning to our big day, Carrie and her crew have been nothing but friendly, professional and a joy to work with.

I remember first meeting Carrie at a Bridal Extravaganza and knowing right away that's where I wanted to get married. ODS was still under construction at this time and I believe I was only the 5th or 6th bride to hold my wedding there so we asked numerous questions before reserving (to which she always patiently and promptly responded to). From there on out we frequently contacted Carrie for questions we had in regard to layout, setup, decor, vendor recommendations, bar suggestions, you name it! There were even a few times that she called to give us updates or make suggestions! She was always on top of it, which was really helpful since I was planning from Dallas.

The weekend of the wedding was absolutely perfect!! Carrie made sure we were set with everything, was flexible with our setup and usage of the venue and was available all weekend for any last minute questions. Did I mention how beautiful this place is?!

Over a year later, our family and friends are still telling us that we "had the most beautiful wedding they've ever seen", our venue was "the coolest venue they've ever been to" and "everything couldn't have been more perfect". In fact, my younger sister (recently engaged) considered having her wedding there but decided against it solely because I already had. Ha!

Needless to say, we are thrilled and honored that Carrie and her team at Olde Dobbin Station were such an amazing and memorable part of our wedding experience. They hold a special place in our hearts and we couldn't imagine anything more perfect!

Thank you ODS, we had the most perfect wedding day! It was a dream setting for a dream wedding! From the moment I met these ladies at the Bridal Expo, I knew everything would be perfect. Every email was answered quickly, every question that I KNEW was ridiculous to ask was answered with no judement..I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff at Olde Dobbin Station are. Rest assured ladies, if you're looking for an establishment that will meet all your needs and keep all your glasses full, look no further. Carrie and Corbin have it ALL under control! Olde Dobbin Station was the PERFECT wedding venue hands down! There is nothing else like it in the area. When we went to see it for the first time, we knew it was the place! It is absolutely gorgeous inside from the chandeliers to the huge mesquite wood doors! The outside and surrounding area was just as beautiful! Our wedding seemed like a fairy tale celebrating it at Olde Dobbin. Our guests were in awe with its beauty and romantic atmosphere. The family and friends we talked to during and after the wedding had nothing but good things to say about Olde Dobbin! I'm SO happy we chose to have our wedding here! I got married here June 1 this year, and it was better than I had ever dreamed! We got endless compliments on the beautiful venue, and all of our pictures are fabulous! Our wedding was a huge party, exactly like we wanted it! Carrie and Corbin are amazing to work with, they answered all my questions so quick and were SO helpful to the planning process! Also, your rental there includes to many things, like high quality tables and chairs. I DEFINITELY recommend! I would pick ODS 100 times over!

The venue is nothing like I have ever seen. I was in awe when I first toured the facility. You really do not even need to decorate the event space because the venue is already so impressive. My guests are still ranting and raving about how beautiful Olde Dobbin Station is. Just go visit it once and you will understand!

Carrie (the owner) and Corbin (the manager) are AWESOME! I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us. Corbin was my main contact and day-of coordinator. She is superwoman I swear! I could email, text or call her and no matter the time of day, she would respond within minutes! She is always available! I honestly do not know when she has time to breathe! She was more on top of things with my wedding than I think I was. She would do things I would not even ask of her! My wedding day went perfectly and I can sincerely say it was because of Corbin. Every single one of my vendors said Corbin was by far the best coordinator they had ever worked with!!

When looking for a wedding venue I wanted something that was unique and original - not a typical hotel ballroom or hall. Olde Dobbin Station has so much history and character and its transformation from a literal ruin to what it is today is truly amazing! I booked ODS about 18 months before my wedding date, and at that time, it was still under construction. From my first tour and meeting with owner Carrie McCoy, I knew that this was the place. Not only did I love her from the minute I met her, but I saw the passion and vision that her and her husband Robert had for the venue and felt completely confident in their abilities. As a bride, one of the best things about ODS is its size and versatility- unlike so many venues out there where you have only one or two options for configuration, we were able to have dinner for 200+ on one side and a completely separate space for the stage/band and dance floor on the other side, plus the "barn" made a perfect space for our cocktail reception. There are so many ways that you can design the space to fit your event. Also, I loved the fact that you have the venue for the entire day, so you aren't limited to a 4-hour event like so many other places which gave us complete freedom for our wedding schedule. Carrie and Corbin were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and were always very responsive to my emails and questions. They offered great advice and vendor recommendations and seemed to truly care about me and my event! Our guests raved about the venue and said it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. The grounds were in great condition, the venue was spotless and the bartending staff were so much fun. Carrie and Corbin were great with my other vendors and coordinator and everything ran smoothly during the setup and reception. I highly recommend Olde Dobbin Station to any bride looking for a truly unique venue!

I could not say better things about Carrie and Corbin! We had a very difficult situation with our caterer, they helped us get out of the contract and with a new caterer and new wedding planner! The vendors they recommended were AMAZING! The venue was flawless! Any question I asked them was answered fast and with the best possible answer. They made sure we were completely comfortable with everything and made our special day perfect! If I had the money I would have every major event at this place! Seriously worth every penny we spent!

The best place on Earth to get married! Choosing to have our wedding at Olde Dobbin Station was the easiest and BEST decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. The owners are such fantastic individuals and they have done a wonderful job with Olde Dobbin Station. Our wedding was beautiful and went so smoothly, all thanks to Carrie! Our friends and family were talking about the our wedding and venue for weeks! <3 <3

We absolutely loved everything about Olde Dobbin Station. Robert and Carrie are awesome. They were very flexible with planning and arrangements. The venue is beautiful, inside and outside. It has a rustic, but elegant feel. Robert's woodwork is remarkable. The location adds to the intimacy. There are tons of vendors relatively close that are familiar with the venue and it's coordinators, which ease the process. We couldn't have picked a better place, Olde Dobbin was perfect.

If you're looking for a unique venue with rustic charm, look no further. I found ODS at the BE and though the venue wasn't finished being renovated at the time, the pictures took my breath away. They've since finished and had several weddings so they know the drill and what to expect. I live in Houston so it was quite a drive for our guests, but don't let that scare you (it's a little over an hour away).

It's an amazingly beautiful place and Carrie is amazing!! She's responsive and attentive and really is flexible. A lot of our guests loved it and some even said they could see themselves getting married there. Hopefully I will get a chance to go back.

Olde Dobbin Station was everything that we could have wished for in a venue; it's gorgeous, has wonderful owners and staff, and was a great value. Carrie, Rob, and Corbin did everything in their power to make sure that our wedding was perfect.

Great venue! People say it's pricey, but considering how beautifully designed the place is you cut out the cost of decoration. Chairs were nice enough that we didn't even need chair covers. All we needed to do was cover the tables with linen and put on centerpiece.

It rained the day of our wedding, sad we couldn't have the ceremony outdoors, but we were blessed to have ODS staff step in and help us. The transition went smoothly and the staff did a great job! It's worth paying $100 for the cleaning lady, she kept the restrooms restocked and clean the whole time we were there. Carrie (owner) was very flexible, sweet and she was on top of things. Not to be stalkerish, but I saw her from the corner of my eyes during the event and saw that she was very hands on during the wedding. Unlike alot of places, the managers and owners are very hands off but not Carrie! :)

There's really not enough that can be said for how amazing this venue is. The McCoys have taken a piece of local history and turned it into something magical. Not only is this venue romantic with a touch of rustic flare, it's bold and chic, elegant and unique. The venue can hold 500+ people which makes it even more attractive in my opinion. The staff is there for you beginning with day one and go the extra mile to help you anyway they can. If you're looking for a picture perfect wedding, look no further than Olde Dobbin Station!

I am so, so happy we chose Olde Dobbin Station for our Sunday afternoon wedding. We were only the third wedding at the venue but it all went seamlessly. A lot of other venues I viewed had all kinds of restrictions on time, vendors, etc and with all my DIY, I needed to be able to have a lot of time for setting up. The fact that the venue was ours for the entire day instantly made it my number one choice. Then I got to watch it become the absolutely stunning space that it is today. And I can't say enough about Carrie. She was so sweet and helpful right up to the last minute. And throughout the process, I really enjoyed the fact that the she was as much or little involved as I wanted. And, and, and.. I could go on for days. Thank you, Carrie & Robert, for making our perfect day possible!

If I could give Olde Dobbin Stations 10 stars I would. This Venue is so beautiful and the owners are with you every step of the way. Carrie McCoy is the sweetest person I know to work with and she and her husband Rob will do everything in their power to make your day perfect. The place is perfect for any wedding large or small. The decor is perfect for your wedding no matter if it is fancy or not. You just have to see it to believe me. I will post some pictures so you can have a little peek.

Working with Brittany and the Olde Dobbin Station team was incredible and really quite stress free for planning a wedding in five months. However, the bar policy is a bit confusing and I felt like was never explained very clearly--that is the one area where I felt like we spent more money than expected. For our rehearsal dinner, we also weren't able to work with Brittany, but had an assistant sent in her place, and I feel like she did a great job, but was not as on top of things as Brittany was, which worried some of my family the day before the wedding. But aside from these things, everything was simply wonderful and we had so many great compliments on the venue, look and feel of our wedding day.

Olde Dobbin Station was wonderful! I just got married in early August and it was beautiful and not hot! That was one of my main concerns with this venue, just because it is Texas and one of the hottest months of summer, but it was great! The AC was wonderful and didn't have any problems. I also am a person who sweats very easily, and I did sweat some, but that was just because I was dancing. If you are considering this place for a summer wedding and that is a concern, do not worry about it! It stayed cool inside and all the guests and myself were very comfortable! I also had my wedding at 2pm so it was very hot outside and the venue was still cold! I absolutely loved the venue, it was beautiful. All of the staff was awesome and very kind. They responded super fast to any questions I had and were very helpful! They provide tables and chairs, which is wonderful and really helpful. They deserve great scores all across, the only reason I gave them a 4.5 on flexibility was because they had some rules for the venue, like no crayons or hanging stuff on the wall and no standing behind the bar if you are not having alcohol. All of those rules are very standard for wedding places, and some places have a lot more rules. Overall I would definitely recommend Olde Dobbin Station!

Olde Dobbin Station was an incredible venue for our special day! The venue itself is one of a kind with amazing landscaping and greenery. The staff was accommodating and gave clear instructions. The online portal was helpful and made planning our layout super easy.

Loved this classic looking venue, absolutely stunning. You only need little decor because the grey concrete, exposed steel and gorgeous wood doors are a perfect and elegant backdrop. Great AC (we got married in August heat), multiple places to get married or take photos on property. Only two downs, bridal suite doesn't have a bathroom and is very small-bridal party did their hair and make-up ready at the hotel and changed into their dress in the bridal suite. And if you plan on having alcohol know that they will only serve their wine and beer unless you request a certain brand for them to buy and you will need on site security in order to have alcohol. Other than that-great!

My fiancé and I had to plan our wedding from China, where we both work and met. When my fiancé found Olde Dobbin Station we instantly fell in love with the place. I sent my parents out to see it and they were also super impressed. This venue made our wedding day feel so special, and everyone commented on how beautiful this site is! I love the rustic elegance of the place, and I only look back on this day with joy. We were so grateful to Corbin for all her help, her availability and how smoothly she made things run that day. I'm sure something's went wrong but I certainly didn't notice because Corbin was on top of things! She was amazing which made renting Olde Dobbin an even better choice than it already was. I would recommend this venue to anyone in the Houston area! It's a beauty!

Gorgeous venue, love have the ceremony and reception site at the same location, Corbin and Carrie always quickly respond to emails. Having our wedding at this venue is by far one of my favorite parts of my upcoming wedding.

Olde Dobbin Station was exactly what I was looking for when I visualized my wedding. It has a rustic elegance that no other venue had in the Houston area. When Carrie gave my husband and I a tour, we immediately fell in love. The fact that she and her husband put so much time and love into making the venue their own really impressed us and made us feel lucky to have our wedding at such a special place.

Carrie and Corbin were so sweet and helpful during my wedding planning process. They had a great list of vendors, and plenty of advice for me when needed. It was also nice that I was able to plan my bridal portraits at ODS a week before our wedding, and they turned out amazing! I had the entire venue to myself so it was a special day just for me. On the day of the wedding, Corbin was very helpful with everything - from keeping us up to date on how much alcohol we had already gone through to coordinating the clean up crew after the party was over. She always had a smile on her face, and made my husband and I feel so special.

If I had any complaints, it would be that they need to install a professional sound system in the reception hall. Our DJ's equipment worked well, but the echoing made it hard to hear the speeches during dinner. There should be a professional system that the DJ can hook their equipment up to in addition to their equipment for better sound for all to hear in the HUGE reception hall. Another complaint would be that the alcohol prices are through the roof! We spent more on alcohol than we did on food! Also, be sure to read over all the "rules" about the venue and relay the message to the entire bridal party and all vendors. They are VERY serious about enforcing these rules and will take your deposit immediately if anyone or anything slips up. Just FYI!

Other than those few things, ODS made our wedding a dream come true. It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I hoped for! We were very blessed to have our wedding at Olde Dobbin Station.

I don't know where to even start with this absolutely stunning venue! First off, the biggest THANK YOU to Carrie and Corbin! They were the easiest people to work with and made sure that my special day went off without a hitch. Their venue is stunning, especially if you like the rustic look, they make every effort to provide assistance to their brides, and they maintain the property well. We were always easily accommodated when we wanted to bring a vendor or come see it again which was especially nice because we lived about an hour and a half from the site. It's location adds to it's charm and makes for a beautiful experience. The day of, we had the site starting at 8 am and no one but people associated with our wedding were allowed on the property. Corbin arrived a few hours before the ceremony and was available to provide any assistance that was needed. I can't remember how many times we were complimented on the venue that night. It is too beautiful to pass up! Please stop and consider this venue as the site for your wedding. I know that if I could do it all over again, there would be no doubt that I would still use Olde Dobbin Station as my venue. You will not regret it!!

If you are looking for an amazing country rustic but classy venue, this is absolutely perfect! Is is worth the drive to Dobbin, Tx, I promise! Our wedding was featured in The Woodlands Bridal magazine for its awesome pictures but also the unique choice of place. There are a few options for this venue. We had our ceremony in the "old building" that hasn't had any work (my choice). However, you can have your ceremony outside by the beautiful pond surrounded by large west Texas rocks or take it inside to the new refurbished building that is remarkably restored. As for the value, after comparing prices, Old Dobbin was worth every penny! It is definitely worth their asking price especially for the mere flexibility in times and day of planning. Carrie is delightful and helpful with every aspect for the details of your special day.

We used the old barn as our wedding ceremony site. The one suggestion I would have for ODS is to level up the floor and leave the rest of the building alone! The barn, as it stands, is a building that is frozen in time and with bistro lights hanging, makes a very romantic wedding ceremony. For a 300+ guest list, the ceremony was very intimate. The main building is so beautifully restored by the owners and speaks for itself, very little decoration needed. We had our reception at night so we played up lighting with candle center pieces instead of flowers. Several of our guests were blown away by the venue do to the location.

For the owners, we personally got to work with Carrie McCoy. She made planning so easy, very flexible and in the end, you felt as if you made a new friend. Her professionalism is beyond words! She worked our wedding and I felt very relieved to know she was there the entire time! She cares 100% about her customers and so does her entire staff!!! The ODS crew is wonderful!

Olde Dobbin Station is a beautiful location restored to stand the test of time. Many of my guest described our wedding as a "whimsical" experience and as if they took a step back in time.

Kevin and I found Olde Dobbin Station just as they officially opened. We had a rushed engagement and planned our wedding in 3 months. Carrie and Robert were so sweet to us and available to talk or discuss details when we needed to.
The venue itself could not be better - the money you pay is for the beauty and uniqueness of the area. Out in the country, Olde Dobbin is more wonderful than any venue I have seen and I have attended so many weddings! Carrie's style comes through in the bride's room, bathrooms, and the gorgeous rusticness of the building itself.
One mega plus is that you get the venue for the entire day. My husband and his groomsman had the entire day to set up and get everything ready.
My wedding was about 160 people and it was a great size, spacious and plenty of space at the bar, dance floor, and to chat. We had our ceremony on one side and our party on the other. The bar is gorgeous as well - so polished!
Robert & Carrie are hardworking helpful people and I definitely recommend this venue if you can budget for it - it was worth every penny for us (even on a tighter budget).

Everyone at Old Dobbin Station was incredible to work with. We met with Corbin (manager) to preview the place, and she was extremely helpful, professional, and informed. She always answered emails promptly with the MANY questions I had and helped us figure out all the little details to make our wedding day flow smoothly. Corbin is an extremely hard worker, detailed-oriented and just as nice and friendly as can be. She worked the bar area the night of the event, and it was then when I realized what a gem she is, coordinating the staff, making sure all the details were right and keeping everything flowing just perfectly. She also serves as day-of coordinator, and I would actually highly recommend her for that role (an additional charge) since she knows so much about the venue, staff, Magnolia area vendors, stuff needed in a crunch, etc. Overall, we were just so super impressed with Corbin, and with Carrie (owner) when we corresponded with her as well. You just cannot work with any nicer, more helpful people than them. They are very fair, and I always felt like they were bending over backwards to make our wedding just perfect.

Old Dobbin Station is a BEAUTIFUL venue, set amidst the pastoral roads of Magnolia and butted up next to a train track, which by chance, a train stopped and parked itself right in front of the window during the wedding ceremony and gave all our guests quite a conversation piece! We had thought the train passing by might be a disturbance, but we felt like it added to the ambiance and uniqueness of our wedding. We used the open air building for the ceremony and enclosed building for our reception, and it worked out perfectly. All our guests gushed about how beautiful and unique the place was. Parking was no problem, and there are many places for beautiful pictures.

Although this venue is not cheap, we were so happy that it was home for our wedding.

The venue is absolutly gorgeous, and Carrie is really easy to work with! She was super helpful throughout the entire process- offering great vendors, meeting with brides after work, and even helped me set up the day before.

Since it is a new venue they don't have a stock pile of decorations or linens. We had to use a lot of outside sources for decorations which really added to the cost. I know that Carrie is working on a collection of decorations to help brides with that process.

My wedding was everything I had imagined it to be and Olde Dobbin was the perfect choice!

From the moment we walked into Olde Dobbin Station we knew that this was the venue was for us. I knew I wanted to have a rustic look, and this was it!! We had a larger reception (almost 300 guests), so we loved all the room that ODS had to offer. The facility is so beautiful you hardly need to add any extras to make your reception special. They have a flexible bar set-up, which makes it easy to customize your evening. Corbin was very attentive to all our questions, phone calls and emails. The only drawbacks would be that there are definitely a lot of rules to keep in mind, it is quite far outside of the city, making it quiet a trip even for local guests, and there are only limited hotels in the area. I am so glad that we decided to go with ODS, and I can't wait to see all of our photos from this exceptionally beautiful venue.

Olde Dobbin was an amazing choice for us. It is beautiful and peaceful out there. A lot of our guests were from out of town (mostly cities) so they felt like they got a really cool Texas experience. It was so nice having a great ceremony and reception spot together, so we didn't have to worry about travel after the ceremony. Carrie was so great to work with. She is truly committed to making it the best day possible for you. Honestly, we had our perfect wedding there. There is no doubt in my mind that we picked the right place.

Olde Dobbin Station is a beautiful venue with lots of options for your wedding day. There were two major issues that I feel like really need to be improved and were really disappointing after booking the venue. The first was the lack of drainage around the property. When I booked the venue, I was told that the old building could be used as a "rain day" ceremony site. Then two weeks before the wedding, I was sent an email saying that the old building was not draining properly from recent rains and water was coming up from the ground. They really need to do something about the drainage and put in a drainage system. It is a shame to invest so much in a property, just to have rain ruin things. My other complaint was the bar prices. Olde Dobbin requires you to use their bar, but then marks everything up 300%. It makes it really hard to get good quality drinks without paying a fortune. After spending so much on the venue, it is a major letdown to have to spend so much on less than stellar alcohol. All-in-all, it is a beautiful unique place to get married, but be prepared to pay a pretty penny.

This venue is gorgeous! EXCEPT it was EXTREMELY hott! Their A/C bearly works and all of my guests were complaing how hott they were the entire time. Neither one of the owners has called to apologize. They also send you a list of rules the week of the wedding they do not let you know about before hand, and their beer and wine rates are ridiculously high!
