Perfect venue at a good price!

I had my wedding reception at the Old Barn Out Back. Out of the many places I visited in Lima, it was the the best choice. The food was delicious at a very good price. Many of the guests told me how good the food was. The beer and wine was sold by the keg and box so it was a good price. The venue bought back any unopened boxes of wine which was great. We were allowed to bring our own liquor which saved me a lot of money. They had unlimited soda, iced tea, coffee, and drink mixes at a reasonable price per person. I had my wedding reception at the Old Barn Out Back. Out of the many places I visited in Lima, it was the the best choice. The food was delicious at a very good price. Many of the guests told me how good the food was. The beer and wine was sold by the keg and box so it was a good price. The venue bought back any unopened boxes of wine which was great. We were allowed to bring our own liquor which saved me a lot of money. They had unlimited soda, iced tea, coffee, and drink mixes at a reasonable price per person. We were allowed to bring in our own desserts so I had a cookie table. Many venues do not allow you to bring homemade desserts in, but this one does. Nichol was the event manager and she was fantastic. Leading up to the wedding, I was able to text or call her with any questions I had. The staff was great the day of the wedding. I stored my cake and cupcakes at the venue the morning of the wedding and the staff put them out before the reception. This relieved some stress because I was afraid I was going to have to find a family member to run over and set them up. The venue already had mums set out for the fall, so the only decorations I put outside were pumpkins. There were also small decorations in the venue like fake trees and flowers and candles on the shelves which gave the venue a little more elegance. I loved how I was able to set up curtains with curtain lights and our initials behind the head table. It turned out beautiful. Overall, this venue is fantastic for a beautiful wedding reception at a great price!

I love Old Barn Out Back. They are a hometown restaurant that has been going strong since before I was born, and is a favorite eating place in our area of Ohio. They are providing plated service for 150 guests for a really decent price. We get a choice of 2 meats, a vegetable, potato, salad, rolls, and drinks. They know how to make great food in bulk! I love that. Check them out!

At first I was a little annoyed that I had to have a pamphlet mailed out instead of being able to access all the info online, but the customer service more than made up for that.

We got the rooms we reserved all day and if nothing had been going on the day before, we could have had access then. That morning, the tables and chairs were already set up with the linens ready, and we just had to come in for the little decorations. Before we left, they let...

Before we left, they let us know the cake was being baked and we could try the scraps if we wanted to. So good! I couldn't wait to eat it later that night.

The food was hot when it was ready - we received a lot of compliments on it - the service was great, and the bartender had a good pour. I can't recommend them enough.

Working with Michelle prior to the wedding was easy and her suggestions were very helpful. The food was excellent. The servers were helpful and polite. Overall service was painless!! I would recommend Old Barn Out Back to anyone wanting superb casual (buffet style) catering.
