We used the MOA as our ceremony and reception location, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. It was absolutely wonderful. Everything from the staff, to the catering, to the bar, the venue, the photo opportunities there.... it was just PERFECT! We received so many compliments.

Staff: Elizabeth was our main contact at the museum. She handles all of the events they host there. She had lots of great ideas, guided us through the process of hosting a wedding/event there, and was quick to respond anytime we had a question. She is kind, thoughtful, accommodating, professional, and seriously awesome at her job.

Security: You have to hire the museums security for your event, for obvious reasons. The price was absolutely reasonable.

Food: The Cafe at the museum is the exclusive caterer for events at the museum, and this is a GREAT thing. Their food is terrific!! We received SO many compliments on the food. They also did the open bar for our wedding. We did a "consumption bar" at the recommendation of Elizabeth, and the price was much cheaper that way. It was really very reasonable. They have a great selection and did an outstanding job. The food was seriously amazing.

Venue: We held our ceremony and reception in the lobby because it was July, and way too hot to do the rooftop. It was beautiful. It held about 70 people if I remember correctly. We also opened up the Chihuly gallery for our guests to go through during the reception, and everyone just thought that was the coolest thing! It was the perfect thing for them to do for the 20-30 minutes immediately following the ceremony while the space was "flipped" and we took pictures and the food was getting set up.
We made arrangements to have our photos taken on the rooftop as well, and I am so glad we did that. They turned out absolutely gorgeous and are so unique! We also took photos in the Chihuly gallery and those are super cool as well.

    Thank you again MOA!!!!

We used OKC Museum Cafe to outside cater our Sunday brunch themed wedding.

I met with Ahmed & was pleased with the menu we selected for the wedding day. I chose an assortment of mini muffins, chef's selection of quiche, hickory smoked bacon, & homemade biscuits with sausage gravy. Ahmed was great & let me choose these items over certain items that were supposed to come with the set menumber because he felt like some of the menu items wouldn't be the best for a wedding brunch buffet. He also let me come back at a later date with my fiance to taste-test the menu!

On the day of the wedding, they delivered our food as scheduled. I heard so many great things about the food! The bacon was gone in a flash (no surprise there!) & everyone loved the complex flavor of quiche. Ahmed gave us so many mini muffins that I am still working on eating a bag of them from our wedding 5 days ago! The only negative thing was that the mini muffins were placed in a chafing dish to keep them warm, which was a nice thought, but they actually stuck together because of the heat. I could really care less though - they were DELICIOUS!

Beautiful venue! The event planners were very helpful! Food and beverage is a bit costly, but the scenery is worth it.

Beautiful venue, and they worked with us to find something that would fit our price range. Catering is pricey, but we just got punch. They allow you to bring your own cake. Stunning venue with many wonderful memories.

Beautiful venue. Not a lot of help with ceremony stuff and not able to have the venue for more than 4 hours.

Okay let me start out by saying that this venue is GORGEOUS! BUT! Be prepared to hear the word NO a lot! We eventually got everything worked out, but I was very disappointed with how security handled my guests. No one was overly drunk or rowdy but they kept yelling at the women to put their shoes back on (this was nowhere in the contract - we would have bought flip flops if that were the case), and forcibly removed my step father and another good friend from the elevator because there were two too many in there. All they had to do was ask - they didnt have to be so rude!

I will say that the food was incredible! All of my guests raved! So at least there is that!

Again, the ceremony was gorgeous, and most things went well, but the hassle wasn't worth it!
