Phil is great!!

We hired Phil to coach our friend officiant and it was 100% worth it. It took a lot of stress off of us (& our friend) and the “speech” he gave was perfect. Phil gave us multiple scripts / a sheet of quotes to potentially use. We made it our own from there! We honestly don’t know if we would have asked a friend to officiate if Phil hadn’t been there to help & we’re SO GLAD it a was an option. Phil is kind, easy to talk to and clearly very experienced at what he does. You should hire him!

Absolute Blessing

My daughter Bailey was married on 3/21/26 in Dillon to her longtime love Josh. We only met Phil at the ceremony and we are still talking about how awesome he was. It was like he was marrying two of his best friends. His professionalism and enthusiasm were unmatched. Phil, in my opinion, is doing what he has been called to do and it definitely shows. By far this was the best job of officiating that I have ever witnessed and not just because it was our daughter. He is incredible at his job. Thanks again Phil for a most memorable event.

Our Dream Wedding Ceremony at Lake Dillon

My husband and I are from Oklahoma and were given Phil’s number by the Breckenridge Christian ministries. Phil completed our intimate wedding ceremony (16 people) a few days ago at Lake Dillon, and did an exceptional job! The ceremony was beautiful, emotional, and captured our relationship so well. Phil was easy to converse with via phone, email, etc, and answered so many of our questions regarding marriage license, permits, local opinions and recommendations. Phil, thank you for being a part of our special day! We couldn’t imagine it any other way!

Working with Phil as our officiant was an absolute dream! From start to finish, he made the entire process effortless. He was incredibly easy to reach, and the ceremony writing process was smooth and straightforward, allowing us to make changes and adjustments with ease. Phil brought such a personal touch to our ceremony—our guests genuinely thought he was a close family friend, and even our photographers felt the same! Phil was absolutely amazing as our wedding officiant! He officiated our elopement wedding in the breathtaking mountains of Colorado, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Phenomenal!

THE BEST!! I cannot begin to explain how honored my husband and I felt to have Phil officiate for our wedding! I have had the unique pleasure of knowing Phil since I was in elementary school and he has always had a way of connecting to all through spoken word and storytelling. He is a master and I could not have imagined anyone better to narrate parts of our story in front of those we love most in the world. He was personable, approachable and fun throughout the entire process leading up and truly allowed us to tailor and craft the ceremony to what felt true to us. The day of our wedding was a gorgeous Colorado summer day but as natives know, weather frequently changes on a dime in the mountains. As we began to exchange vows, big thunderheads rolled in. With the utmost professionalism and poise, Phil edited the prepared script on the fly to include the stories and sentiments most important to us and removed the rest (in the moment, I had no idea). And thank goodness he did. Moments after we kissed, big raindrops began falling and everyone ran for cover before the skies opened up with rain a little hail. In the end, we had the perfect dramatic ending. An average officiant or friend could not have made our ceremony feel so flawless despite unforeseen circumstances with the grace, heart and laidback manner as Phil did. He is a fabulous officiant and even human and I have no doubt brings the same positivity, love and fun to each couple he works helps! We appreciate you Phil!

The BEST officiant and premarital coach we could ask for!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Phil!! He took the time to get to know us as a couple, and talk with us about how we wanted our ceremony to feel before customizing a ceremony script together with us. I had no doubt we were in great hands and it really took stress off my shoulders knowing he was on our vendor team. We did premarital coaching with Phil as well, and he made it such an incredibly fun and rewarding experience! He is so easy to talk to, and he really customized the sessions to our wants and needs so we were able to get the most out of our time with him. It really helped us continue to build a solid foundation for our marriage as well as keeping us grounded and connected throughout the crazy process of wedding planning. Made our big day extra magical!

It's hard to put into words just how honored we were to have Phil officiate our wedding. Not only did he assist in making our rehearsal, ceremony AND reception run smoothly, he was a huge help in the weeks and days leading up to our big day. Phil made and kept timely virtual appointments in which we worked to assemble our ideal ceremony script and check things off of our "to do" lists. He was beyond helpful in the fine tuning process as we got closer and closer to our wedding day. He reminded us of little details, like which hand to reach for when putting on our rings, how to relish in the day and not get lost in the stress of everything, how to carry on if we got lost when repeating our vows, etc. Knowing we had Phil as our team leader, helped boost our confidence throughout the entire experience–especially when we hit unexpected bumps (because not everything will go perfectly, no matter what)! Phil also put together a VERY detailed timeline for both our rehearsal/dinner and the day of our wedding and made sure that our event coordinators and vendors received a copy--this was instrumental in creating a seamless flow of communication for everyone involved. He even wrote in a time for us (the bride and groom) to have an intimate moment together after the ceremony where we sat down to eat and revel in the magic that just ensued. That ended up being SO IMPORTANT because we got lost in the celebrations later on and neither of us had time to sit down or eat during the reception. Another thing that we were so impressed with was his quality of care–not just for us, but for our vendors and planning team. Phil made sure to communicate important details with our cinematic team (timeline, transitions, etc) and even arranged a block of time for them to sit down and eat during the reception! He remained in constant contact with our parents, bridal party and event coordinator, providing guidance and support as needed. When I failed to supply a wifi hotspot for our DJ, Phil offered his phone without hesitation. We wouldn’t have had music at our reception were it not for him! Phil's attention to detail, quality care, thorough checklists/reminders, timely meetings, and natural charisma made one of the most important days of our lives so very special. We are beyond grateful for his talent and cannot imagine the day without him.

If I could rate Phil over 100% I would! Truly one of the best parts of our wedding day. Almost 7 months later, I am still getting praises for how amazing of an officiant Phil was for us. People won't stop talking about Phil!

One of our vendors recommended Phil when we were looking for an officiant for our wedding. We wanted someone to help us write a nice ceremony script that suited our religious/non-religious views and guide us through our ceremony process. Phil delivered on that plus some! Our friends kept talking about how beautiful the ceremony was and how they actually listened to what Phil was saying (ha!) and they thought we had known Phil for years because of how approachable he was and genuine his script was. We strongly recommend Phil to anyone needing an officiant for their wedding (whether it be religious or not Phil can do it all!).

Stop looking- Work with Phil

Phil is incredible! We ended up working with him through complete serendipity and I'm so glad we did. Phil was one of the most complimented professionals at our wedding- all of our family and friends absolutely loved him. You can feel him radiating joy and true passion for what he does. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect, he did a great job listening to us and understanding how we wanted it to feel and incorporating his expertise to make it beautiful and authentic to us. Although we got lucky and dodged the threat of rain during our ceremony he was completely prepared with a large umbrella and was ready to stand in the rain with us if we needed to. Phil is the BEST!!

Phil is truly the most incredible officiant, and we can't even begin to express how grateful we are to have met him and have him a part of our day!!! From our first call, he immediately understood our vibe & crafted us the most beautiful ceremony we could've asked for. Come wedding day...our outdoor ceremony was interrupted by an insane hail/rainstorm that rolled in moments after we got to the altar - and Phil took it all in stride!! We laughed, and he effortlessly abridged the ceremony on the fly to help get us out of the crazy weather - all while managing to keep in the most important parts to us (our vows, acknowledgement of our passed family members, and our closing remarks/pronouncement). He really made our ceremony so special and his professionalism helped guide us through the unexpected weather! Excellent Wedding Officiant!

Phil Gallagher was such an amazing person to work with! His efforts and expert guidance with being an officiant helped us throughout the process of planning, creating, and performing our wedding ceremony. He made our wedding so personalized and special.

Phil knew just what to say and what to do to guide us through the process of creating a customized wedding ceremony and helped us navigate tradition, while crafting a ceremony specific to us as a couple. He is very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He was a complete joy to work with!

We enjoyed our wedding ceremony so much with his customized approach and heard many compliments from our guests. Phil was willing to work with us via many emails and a couple of phone calls, as well as perform our ceremony outside for a spring wedding, being flexible on an outdoor ceremony.

He was very thoughtful of thinking through all the scenarios related to traveling in winter conditions and was early to both the wedding rehearsal and our actual wedding day. He was very personable and easy to get along with. We were so fortunate to have found him and he goes above and beyond!

Being the experienced officiant that Phil is, we were confident of his skills and ability to entertain and win over our wedding guests. He helped make sure everything during the ceremony went smoothly. He helped coordinate with our vendors providing the audio for our wedding and made sure to step out of the photo for our first kiss photos. His attention to detail and care really show through.

Incredible!

Phil was the most AMAZING officiant I could have possibly hoped for. He made the entire ceremony so, so, so spectacular. From the very beginning, he was incredibly communicative and easy to work with. He sent me three separate drafts right away which I sort of combined and we finalized/edited together at the end to create the most perfect speech. And when the day came, it couldn't have gone more perfectly. We had our ceremony outside in Breckenridge, CO, in FEBRUARY in the middle of a snowstorm (trust me, while we were cold, it made for some of the most amazing pictures). Phil was so incredible and he came prepared with a laminated speech so that the printed speech wouldn't be affected by the weather, and he carried a huge smile and wore a coat, fully ready to brave the weather with us! He looked at me and said "if you get too cold, you just turn to me and give me a nod, and we'll skip anything except the most necessary parts. Or if you want a break, or to grab a shawl or a jacket or a blanket, you just give me the nod. I won't take it from anyone except you." Luckily, I was able to make it through that entire ceremony outside in my strapless dress in a snowstorm (like a crazy person because I live in Miami right now), and Phil was fully there for it! He kept us smiling and laughing the ENTIRE time! The whole day was so incredibly perfect and Phil was a massive part of that. My family members all said it was the most incredible officiant speech they have ever heard in their entire lives (and they are not those family members who just say that to be nice, they are honest all the way. If they said that, it's because they meant it.) Could not recommend Phil more highly. We are all still talking about how awesome he was and how he was such an important part of making our day as perfect as it was! Phil, thank you so, so much for everything you did to make our day so special!

Perfect Officiant

Phil married us just a few days ago, and we've received so many compliments on our ceremony! We started working with Phil a few years before our wedding (due to COVID), and he made the process stress free and incredibly personal. We loved our initial meeting with him at a cozy coffee shop in Breck, and we felt like we had known Phil forever. He worked with us to make tweaks to our script until it felt just like "us" and brought a lovely presence to our wedding day. Perfect execution!

Phil was awesome! We got to zoom with him before the wedding and we just clicked! I loved that he sent us script options but let us fully customize ours. An amazing, intentional experience!

Working with Phil was a fantastic experience and one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process! Finding the right officiant was a part of the planning that we were quite nervous about but after we hung up from our first call with Phil, we knew that we had found the right person to officiate our wedding. Phil was energetic, responsive and so intentional about creating the right balance and tone for us and our day. Phil made the whole process fun and easy (even during the uncertainty of COVID) all the way up to the rehearsal and the big day. He was so incredibly warm, thoughtful and helpful serving as both an officiant and friend that day, helping us navigate an elopement during these touch-and-go times. He really helped us with everything we needed to make that day extra special, from providing several script versions, notes on how to write our own personal vows, thoughts on potential locations, and just a wonderfully upbeat demeanor that spilled into the excitement leading up to and on day of. Phil knows how to capture your love story & is great to work with!

Phil is wonderful to work with! We started planning our 2020 wedding in 2019 - who knew how much the world would change in a few months. Phil was flexible and understanding to work with. We were late on our responses to him, but he didn't mind and he was super understanding! He captured our love story and gave us several outlines for our service. He worked with us when we wanted things changed several times.

The day of the wedding he was professional and he felt like our friend. He made us feel super comfortable and even got teary eyed during our service! So happy we chose Phil!

We had a wonderful experience having Phil as the officiant for our elopement! We had to postpone our original wedding to 2021 and Phil was super helpful with adjusting the scripts from our full ceremony to an elopement for just my husband and I. He has been responsive and accommodating even with three location changes on the date of our elopement (due to crazy snow) and remained positive throughout the whole experience. We are so happy we chose him and the ceremony and his words were beautiful! We can't wait to work with him again for our 2021 wedding! Beautiful and thoughtful wedding ceremony

We had such a great experience with Phil, we couldn't believe we got so lucky. Phil came recommended to us by our wedding planner, Carly Witzberg with Milk Glass Productions, as an officiant who performs non-denominational weddings. My husband and I didn't want to get married in a church or a temple but wanted to incorporate elements from our religions wedding ceremonies into our wedding (I'm Greek and my husband's Jewish). Phil worked with me to craft the perfect combination of Greek and Jewish wedding traditions into our ceremony and made it flow effortlessly. For him to write your wedding ceremony, he has you fill out a questionnaire about yourselves as a couple and then individually about each other. When everything came together, it was a beautifully crafted speech incorporating personal details about us and our families, mixed with our culture's wedding traditions. It was so perfect, our guests actually thought Phil was a close friend/family member! I would HIGHLY recommend Phil for your wedding day. He was my favorite part :)

McGrady Elopement

Wow. I can’t even begin to say how thankful we are that Phil was our officiant. We eloped to Colorado to get married on the side of the mountain.. in the snow.. in 16 degrees. Phil was awesome!! Phil at our Wedding

There are not enough words to describe Phil. After I received a list of 5 officiant recommendations from our wedding planner, I started my deep dive in wedding reviews. But it was Phil's instagram that really sealed the deal for me. I won't spoil it, but let's just say I needed an alter selfie! We was very organized and sent us 3 templates to chose from and then we personalized to our own. He was friendly, approachable, resonated with our entire audience, focused on nature and connection just like we wanted and most importantly, has a voice that sounds great on our video!! ;) We liked him so much we recommended him to our brother and sister in law for their wedding! Wow, what can I say about Phil?! He was INCREDIBLE! Unfortunately we were not able to meet him until the day of the wedding because of a prior wedding he had (which he let us know before we booked him), but we felt like we knew him forever! He stayed in constant contact until the day of the wedding, even reminding us to do the little things. He crafted a ceremony script that felt so much like us I cried when I read it for the first time. He will work with you to make the ceremony exactly what you want it to be. After our ceremony everyone asked if we knew him because he seemed like an old friend. I said, "Nope, just met him today!". He was so fun, creative, outgoing, and articulate. Our ceremony would not have been what it was without him. If you need an officiant, LOOK NO FURTHER :)

Phil is seriously the absolute best. I found him through my wedding venue's preferred vendor list and just randomly called him one day. He answered promptly, and gave me a quick low down of the services he provided. Not only is Phil very affordable, passionate, and just awesome to work with, but the ceremony he wrote for us brought me to tears the first time I read it! It was beautiful! We live in Greeley so meeting up was going to be a challenge, but we did a video conference and went through everything step by step; including the ceremony that he had written. The Perfect Elopement

My husband and I flew from Texas to Colorado to elope in the mountains with our closet family. Phil was recommended to us and we couldn’t have been happier to have him as our officiant! I’d recommend him to anyone. He stayed in contact with us during the month leading up the the wedding and made sure we were prepared. The first time I met him was when I walked down the aisle. Him and my husband were crying together, like we’d known him forever. Such a genuine guy!

Phil is great!

Phil was our officiant for our intimate, elopement style wedding and he was perfect! We were planning our ceremony from out-of-state and he was quick to respond to emails as well as provide helpful suggestions. We did not have the chance to meet him in-person until the day of our wedding but his warm personality made us feel like he had been a long time friend. If you’re looking for an awesome officiant, we would definitely recommend Phil!

Couldn’t have been better!

My husband and I were hesitant to hire an officiant who we didn’t know well... until we met Phil. It only took a 30 minute Skype conversation to know he would be fantastic. He also made the process so easy, providing ideas for our script and vows, format, etc. and then worked with us to make it personal. We love what we came up with together as it felt personal and authentic. We received amazing reviews and our wedding guests assumed we must have known Phil for years! This Guy is awesome!

Phil officiated our wedding on July 28th at Sapphire Point. He did such an amazing job and we couldn't be happier. He even helped set some things up at the venue because we were running late. My wife and I were not the easiest couple to work with in regards to our response time with some of Phil's questions but he remained professional throughout. I would recommend Phil to anyone! The best officiant EVER!!

Phil is absolutely amazing! My husband and I had a destination wedding, so planning a wedding from afar was challenging at times. When it came to picking our officiant, we knew Phil was the one just by looking at his website! He had this energy that was so evident with not even knowing him. Phil wrote us the most beautiful vows. He took the time in writing 3 sets for us to choose from and then changed a few things twice with no hesitation to make sure it was exactly what we wanted! The day of our wedding, the only people in that moment was my husband and Phil. He was so calm and had such a soothing voice the whole time. As weird as that sounds, when your nerves are everywhere, that is exactly what you need! All of my guest complimented on his deliverance even weeks after the wedding! Phil will make your ceremony unique!

Hire Phil as your officiant! We eloped with just our dog and wanted the ceremony to be as unique and intimate as the entire day. Phil helped us through the process of creating the perfect passages for the ceremony that were specific to us and our relationship. We found him so easy and fun to work with, and our other vendors had the same feedback! He was energetic and sincere and seemed to genuinely be happy to share in this moment with us. Phil traveled to Crested Butte in the middle of winter for us, taking great care to give himself extra time to avoid road closures and traffic due to avalanches. What easily could have been a very stressful situation was totally fine because he was very communicative and prepared! He will be a great addition to your wedding - cannot recommend him enough!

Awesome officiant!!

Phil is wonderful! He has such good energy and really set the perfect tone for our ceremony. We had a destination wedding so we didn't have a chance to meet Phil before the actual big day, but it was honestly not an issue at all. THAT'S how good he is. He's so responsive and really tailored the ceremony to how we wanted it to be. Phil is so genuine and passionate!

Phil was a true pleasure to work with and came highly recommended by our photographer, Nina Larsen. We initially met on Skype as my husband and I are from Kansas City. We could immediately tell that Phil was super friendly, outgoing, and would be the perfect fit for us! He provided us with several ceremony scripts to pick and choose parts from and was super helpful every step of the way! All his ceremonies are beautifully written from the heart and flow so naturally. He helped us craft the perfect ceremony that reflected my husband and I's personalities and wishes for our big day! He also took the time to meet with us once we got to Breckenridge at a coffee shop a few days before our ceremony to calm any nerves we had and walk through the script with us. Even though we were meeting him in person for the first time, Phil immediately felt like a true friend. We had an intimate ceremony with immediate family and we wanted to incorporate them someone how in our wedding ceremony. He had so many ideas for how to do this and we ended up having a ring warming ceremony and it meant so much to our family. The ceremony went so so well and he did it in a way that kept everyone present and helped us cherish every single moment. It was so beautifully done that we got much more emotional than we even imagined because Phil made it so special, personal, and meaningful. Phil is honestly one of the most genuine, caring, and down to earth people you will ever meet and we are so happy to have had him officiate our wedding. We cannot thank him enough for all that he did for us!

Phil is the absolute best!

Phil was the perfect choice for our small wedding! We had just immediate family at our wedding, and having him there felt like another family member. He was so energetic and personable the whole time. He was amazing at creating the serious moments for us, but would definitely laugh along with us during the fun ones! He even dropped by dinner to pick up the wedding license we forgot so he could turn it in for us (since we were leaving on a holiday and the courthouse wouldn't be open). He was amazing during the the whole process, and editing/choosing the ceremony and vows was a breeze with him. I cannot express how happy we were to have found him, and how much fun he made our day!

Perfect - hire him!

We could not recommend Phil highly enough. He tied the day together perfectly with his easy going, relaxed manner. Everyone loved him and complimented him for how fun he made the ceremony. Very professional and also a huge help with writing he vows.

Thank you to Phil for making our wedding so perfect. The vows were beautiful and Phil was very organized. He had all the vows written out, little cards for us to read to each other, a pen clipboard, pockets for the rings. He was so prepared! He was also flexible about the last minute venue change. Phil did an absolute PERFECT job at our wedding. You need this guy in your life. I am so glad we chose Phil to be our officiant. He gave us a questionnaire to learn about us. Then used that information to write 3 different drafts that were personalized to us. We liked pieces of all 3 messages so we sent it over and he promptly responded and made the changes we requested. He was early to our wedding and provided our blessings so eloquently. The most positive, personal officiant ever

We feel SO LUCKY to have had Phil officiate our intimate winter wedding. It is a little hard to explain, but Phil literally radiates happiness and positivity, and EVERYONE commented on it. He's such a great spirit to have around on your big day. Phil took time to get to know us, and our ceremony couldn't have been more personal. It captured our story so perfectly and was exactly what we wanted. Some of our guests thought Phil was an old friend!!! Best officiant ever.

Simply the best

We used Phil for our very small and intimate wedding ceremony at Saphire Point. It was short, but in the 45 minutes (total) that we worked with Phil, it felt like we had known him for years. Given the size of our wedding, I was concerned that it would feel like our families and a stranger, but it did not feel that way at all. I would choose him for my wedding 10/10 times. He has absolutely earned every award he’s ever received, and more.

Best officiant in Colorado!

Phil is very talented at what he does and it shows! We were planning a destination wedding in Colorado, coming from Ohio, and Phil made the process so easy! He took the time to learn more about us and get to know our personalities. He provided us several script options and was quick to make any edits, although there weren't many because he had captured us pretty perfectly the first round! We loved his upbeat, friendly and easy going personality and so did our guests! If you're looking for an amazing officiant in the Colorado area, Phil is your guy!

Phil was phenomenal!! We got along with him so well that most of our guests where asking how long we had known him prior to the ceremony. He created an extremely custom and personal script that told our story and meant the most to us. Many guests told us it was the best ceremony they had ever heard! Phil is the BEST officiant we have ever had! Hahah, and the only one we have ever had, but if the success of the ceremony is a sign of a successful marriage, then there is NO chance either one of us will need another officiant.

Phil is an incredible man and wonderful public speaker. His communication was very comforting through the whole process and he truly understood how to connect to us and convey our love to all of our guests. He is so easy to talk to and rolls with the inevitable calamity of your wedding day. As the ceremony began, Phil realized that the microphone wasn't working (my fault, not Phil's), but he handled it like the pro he is. He discretely and gently placed it to the side and continued the ceremony with a confident, projecting voice.
Phil will work with you to create the perfect vibe for you special day. He will craft a script to your exact needs, and will gladly accommodate wardrobe and prop requests.

Book him early, he is becoming very popular in the Colorado High Country! Despite the other weddings he helped with the same weekend as ours, Phil was so accommodating and easy to work with.

Phil Gallagher was the perfect officiant. To be honest, he was more than an officiant, he became a friend. Phil took his time to truly understand who we were as a couple, how our family dynamics could play into the ceremony, and what we wanted our day to represent. He will meet you where you're at and design a ceremony that is 100% authentic to you.

Phil was always available to talk through ideas, concerns, and generally just an amazing guy to work with. Phil was on top of everything and provided some fantastic guidance as we chose a ceremony location that we had never physically been to before wedding day.

I couldn't imagine having another officiant for our big day, and quite frankly, if you are looking for an officiant in the Colorado area, you HAVE to give Phil a call.

I quite honestly do not have words to describe what an amazing job Phil did with our ceremony. He came in so kind and upbeat after our original officiant cancelled on us with short notice- which I am actually happy happened, because Phil was not just a repleacement but an upgrade. He drafted 2 ceremony scripts within 24 hours of speaking with us and was happy to make any changes we requested. His ceremony was beyond perfect; very fun and lighthearted. He also went above and beyond the call of duty and helped our ushers tie their bow ties. All of our guests loved him as well. We would recommend Phil to anyone and everyone, our experience with him was wonderful.
