We had quite a few changes happen day of the wedding and she was able to work around all of them. As well as that she was just an absolute joy to work with, she helped so much with the rehersal as our coordinator canceled on us last second. Pauline was awesome! We did a phone interview thing thanks the 2020 plague but even after the phone call I was comfortable booking her. She gave us a few readings to select from after we had told her we're not religious and we were able to select one that fit us perfectly. When we were all allowed to leave our homes again, we did a meet and greet to go over the details. The day of she did a quick rehearsal with us that was more to relieve our nerves than anything. Even during the ceremony, she was helping us relax and lightening the atmosphere which is what we needed. She was even okay with our non-traditional, trex costume ring boy ( i think this is posted on her facebook page). I'm so happy we went with her!!!

Pauline made sure that my ceremony went off without a hitch. I told her I wanted it to start at 5 o'clock and we were walking down the aisle at exactly 5 o'clock. Our biggest thing was not wanting prayers or god mentioned at all in our ceremony and she definitely met and exceeded my expectations. She had the right about of humor and love in her words. It was short sweet and to the point which is great because my husband and I hate to be center of attention so we didn't want to be there long. I'll highly recommend her to anyone who asks.

An amazing officiant!
Pauline is an amazing officiant! My husband and I live out and town and were only able to meet with her at the rehearsal, and she was nothing but amazing. In thirty minutes we edited her speech, figured out the layout of the bridal party, and made sure we crosses our I’s and dotted our t’s. Pauline did an amazing job! I would & have recommended her to all of our friends. She was very responsive to all of my questions I had before the day. She had every detail nailed down! She was flexible and allowed my husbands Grandpa to give a reading during the ceremony. She had given us the cards with what she said during the ceremony which we still have and love. That day goes so quickly it is nice to look back and remember exactly what was said. We have had a few friends get married who use other officiants and every time it makes me even more glad (if that's possible!) we used Pauline! Pauline makes you feel like family. She is a very warm hearted woman who cares about each and every client. She makes sure that you are happy and calm. She takes all the stress away that the family’s put on the bride the days leading up to the wedding. She made a special appearance and answered all my family’s questions so that I wasn’t so stressed. Hands down Pauline is the absolute best!! She was one of the main reasons our day was so beyond magical for us. Pauline actually took the time to meet with us on various occasions throughout the year leading up to the wedding to really get to know Trev and I as a couple. She was able to truly extenuate on the love we share and emphasized it all throughout the ceremony— I’ve been told there wasn’t a dry eye in the place! She even provided us with an amazing surprise after our wedding day that was just the cherry on top!! I HIGHLY recommend Pauline. Puauline was amazing! I surprised my fiancé with us getting married in Christmas Day before a football game that we were going watch. Pauline not only came to our house on Christmas Day, but she wore a jersey of our favorite team! She made it through the snow so that we could share the day with our son who was home for the military. She made something so important to us so special.

And the only that didn't judge us on my husband's Batman t-shirt saying "We can do a super hero wedding if you want!" Super Professional, we got so many compliments on our service. Pauline was such a joy at our wedding - she was quick to read our personalities and help us figure out exactly what type of wedding ceremony we wanted to have. She was so easy to work with, and took care of mailing the marriage license in for us. She traveled to our wedding in McCall, and was flexible with us about moving the ceremony when the weather went haywire at the last minute. She also gave us her notecards from the ceremony, so that we'll forever remember the words we heard and said at the ceremony. Pick Pauline!

If I could give over 5 stars I would. We laughed, we cried, she got to know us, and really made us feel that she was part of our family. She spent time on our ceremony, let me add last minute touches, and really made the experience over all fantastic. Our wedding was small and intimate and she accommodated our ceremony. She showed up early, was professional, and absolutely outstanding. We're having a bigger ceremony in 2019 & will definitely be flying Pauline out to it, regardless of where it is WE NEED HER to be there.

We absolutely loved having Pauline officiate our wedding! She was extremely professional/flexible, and very laid back- she fit right in on our special day. She made the entire process very easy, from where to stand to making sure we had completed wedding vows... there was even a little special gift at the end of the day! 100% would choose her all over again, and not just because "she would look the best in our pictures" as was my husband's initial reasoning!

When it comes to your big day there needs to an officiant you believe in no matter what happens, Pauline is just that.
Her passion for weddings comes out in every word she delivers. Pauline takes the times to sit down with every couple to figure out exactly how they want the ceremony to go. Her attention to detail helps run a smooth rehearsal and when it comes time to say I do, you will feel confident everything will be perfect. If Things arise she is adaptable to any situation.

Our officiant was Pauline. The family member we initially were going to have for our officiant canceled on us last minute so we had to book Pauline last minute and were only able to meet her for the first time just a couple of weeks before the wedding. She was wonderful! She held the ceremony exactly how we wanted it, offering advice when appropriate but allowing us to have the ceremony we envisioned. Her tone and pace were perfect during the event.

It's a tough reality when you perform the ceremony of your son's classmates :) ....but no two people have been more suited for each like you two have and for such a long time too!! Pauline did an awesome job! We were very busy leading up to our wedding, and she was easy to work with our schedule. We met once in person, and the corresponded by email to figure out the ceremony. Since our rehearsal was the day before in McCall, we opted not to have her come up a day early to practice. The next day, the ceremony went off without a hitch in her capable hands! It was a chaotic day, and I really appreciated her positive attitude and professionalism.

We met with Pauline and got to tell her exactly what we wanted and with a couple emails, we got exactly what we wanted! As our wedding was a bit different, we appreciated the special care and details that we received.

I was so happy Pauline was excited to work with me to pull off my surprise wedding for my fiance! She was on top of everything, made sure I was happy with everything and accommodating when I had a last minute venue change! She was a delight to work with and would recommend her to everyone!

Pauline was so great and very enthusiastic about us and our love, even before meeting us! She made us feel special and I love the little added touches she does such as Facebook posts, signing the guest book, etc. definitely recommend!

She set up wrong vows. It was for same sex weddings . Also planned weddings too close together

You were almost an hour late.
My apologies on the ceremony that I had prepared and given to your uncle to perform.
If the info for him to read was incorrect, I do apologize. I would have noticed and corrected, if I would have been able to perform the ceremony myself, as planned.
Your family was very helpful and supportive and again, had I not had another ceremony booked prior to yours, it would have still been inconvenient, but I would have waited.
Again my apologies for the ceremony cards being incorrect.
I was trying to help your uncle have something to officiate with since I could not wait any longer. My overbooking error was trying to help you. Sorry if didn’t work out.

I had Pauline Downey as my officiant. When we met with her for the consultation she seemed nice and well put together we agreed to hire her. At the consultation she asked what to wear and I said a semi formal dress in my wedding colors ( purple, Red, Black). The day of my wedding she was very rude to me and my guest she was dressed very unprofessional (a black tank top and short grey knitted skirt). When I tried to explain to her how I wanted the line up to go she told me to relax and let her handle it which resulted in everything being messed up all because she would not take 1 min to listen to me. When I finally did confront her about the issues I had she acted as if she did nothing wrong and blamed my sister for being emotional and crying about the way she ( my sister) looked in her brides maid dress, which was big on her because she somehow had the wrong one on, as why she (Pauline)was so aggitade and rude. When I talked to her about her choice in outfit she said there was nothing wrong with it because I had a back yard wedding. Which yes it was on my parents 5 acers and was very formal everyone was wear tuxedos and my wedding dress was a very elegant formal wedding gown with a confedral train. Not a simple back yard wedding. I would not recommend her to anyone and I would be cautious if you do use her.

Thank you for your feedback Kaitlin. I provided the same service for you that I have provided for hundreds of other couples. In our private messaging, I apologized to you multiple times, even though I honestly handled everything with as much patience and professionalism as anyone would have in lieu of the circumstances. It is never my goal to be rude or sabotage anyone's special day, so I am sorry you feel that was the case. I have never been accused of dressing inappropriately, so again, had you truly expressed your desire as to exactly what you wanted me to wear, I would have done that. Rehearsals are held to practice everything ahead of time and you chose not to have one, so that money could be saved. I understand, but please know that I was doing the best I could to corral your bridal party and get the wedding started, since you were already well over an hour late. Realizing that I can't please everyone, I know that I was not the things you are accusing me of, but if you feel better for now sharing your opinion, then so be it. Thank you again. I will take all of your feedback into consideration going forward. Best wishes.
