I met Chris at my cousin's backyard wedding a few years ago and was a wonderful officiant and a good guy to talk to. He' seen everything.
This year, my fiancé was pregnant and we planned a small wedding at my parents' house a month before the due date but my fiancé ran int some issues and had to be hospitalized. We had to postpone our wedding celebration but we wanted to be married before becoming parents.
I called Chris and he just needed to know which hospital and when we wanted to be married. Three hours later he issued our marriage license and married us at Kaiser next to my WIFE's bed. Easy going and straightforward, and he made a huge moment easy and fun when it could have been an ordeal.

A Wedding on Fire
We can't say enough about Chris, we just loved him. He is all that you require and expect, of course: Courteous, responsive & professional. But he is also all those things you HOPE for: stylish, refined and sophisticated, with a calming voice and flawless delivery.
We eloped, planning a simple living room ceremony with just a half dozen guests. This was to be the final event of a three week cruise through the Panama canal. Unexpectedly, we arrived in LA just as the Palisades fire was gaining speed, a very destabilizing event.
Everyone involved was understandably stressed, but we kept our wits about us in no small part due to Chris' unflappable commitment. He never wavered, not even for a second, from his task and he made our little elopement an event to remember.
He arrived ready to take us through the "paperwork" part, confidently and professionally, then seamlessly switching over to our ceremony in front of the living room fireplace, while fires outside pretty much raged all around us.
We were so lucky to have found him and would recommend him wholeheartedly, whether your event be grand or modest, Chris will shine for sure and take the best care of you both!

Do you need someone who understands the entire nightmare that is getting your license, filing it appropriately, making sure you’re not on some mailing list for eternity that dooms you to endless junk mail and jury service? Officiant Guy Made the Impossible Happen
Thanks to the Officiant Guy we were able to be married in my father's hospital room so that all of our parents could attend our wedding ceremony. We had planned a small wedding in a couple of weeks but my dad suffered a stroke and it was not certain when or if he would be coming home. Chris Robinson, the Officiant Guy, was available the day after my dad's stroke. He issued our marriage license, offered a range of ceremonies and vows and was totally prepared for our wedding. His matter-of-fact demeanor and obvious love for his work made our unusual wedding seem normal. What could have been a sad day turned into a celebration. Thank you Chris!

A Great Choice on Short Notice
Chris, the Officiant Guy, helped save our wedding plans. My friend who was going to perform our ceremony got sick and Chris was available on a day's notice. Officiant Guy Saved the DAy
The Officiant Guy, Chris, came through for us on short notice when we had to plan our wedding while my mother was bedridden and before the end of the year. Chris was calm and patient when it was hard for us to be. He handled everything from the marriage license, wedding protocol and many options for our written ceremony. He even let me how to change my name after our marriage. What could have been a sad, rushed and frustrating event turned into a beautiful day thanks, large part, to Officiant Guy's expertise, patience and good humor.

Straightforward and provides confidential marriage license
We didn't need much for an officiant, but Chris was a great help advising on the process of filling out the confidential marriage license. Part of the appeal is that he is licensed to issue confidential marriage licenses and charges an additional fee to go to the courthouse and deal with the paperwork on your behalf. We were both unable to take time off from our jobs to do this part, and hiring Chris to do this part made the most sense.
He is not specific to a denomination or faith, and his website gives a set of pre-made wedding ceremonies that we could customize to be our own.

Family Wedding
Professional and reliable are the perfect adjectives for Chris, our officiant guy.
Arranging weddings overseas is quite challenging. However, Chris prepared and processed ALL our pertinent documents in an instance, hassle-free, complete, accurate, legit and organized manner ready on our wedding day itself.
He came earlier as scheduled.
During our overseas inquiries, he responded right away and called efficiently. He was very detailed and patient answering all my unlimited queries and made us very assured.
He was suggestive giving options and instructions. He initiatively searched and sent legit informations about our country’s legalities which was substantial for us.
We received our MC in just 4 weeks time. He filed it with no delays.
His ceremony was great and lovely as to what we’ve requested. It was a family wedding with just us couple and our three lovely kids.
However the only thing was, Chris forgot to give us the moment to say our vows. We were so surprised that it was already “you may kiss the bride” part while I was still holding my written vows. To his recovery, he repeated the final part.
Apart from that, everything was smooth and great. Absolute convenience (license & certificate) and assurance from Chris.

For anyone looking for an Officiant, look no further. Chris the Officiant Guy is the one you need to hire for your special day. He is a very nice intellectual man and an excellent professional. Easy to communicate with whether its via email, text, or phone call. He is very attentive when it comes down to meeting your expectations. Guides you every step of the way. Helps you customize your vows. Answers all your questions and concerns. His services are affordable. Handles your marriage license paperwork with care and hand delivers it to the courthouse in person. Was prompt upon arriving the day of our wedding and gave us extra time to be ready. He also gave me great advised on how to go about changing my name on all my legal documents. Checked in on me to make sure everything worked out. A year later he followed up to wish us well . Overall I couldn't be more happier and thankful to have chosen him officiate our ceremony. I will keep him in mind for future purposes and recommendations.

My fiancee and I wanted to get married at Disneyland. We wanted an informal wedding on the Mark Twain. We met with Chris at the front gate and filled out the marriage license paperwork. Then we went inside and he performed the ceremony. He was on time. He was professional. He was marvelous. We couldn't have gotten a better person to perform the ceremony. 5 stars is not enough. I’m very late in writing this review, my hubs and I were married in 2010. We found Chris randomly searching on the internet. We wanted to just get married the two of us and possibly our kids. He told us he would go anywhere in LA county. We were able to pick a special beach and he walked with us about a mile until we said “this seems like a good spot.” And he married us right there while our kids played on the shore and the local surfers sat in the water and watched. It was incredible and Chris made it super easy and convenient for us. He did basically everything. We showed up and said I Do. The whole experience was beautiful and hassle free from beginning to end and I would recommend him to anyone who wants their day to be special.

My wife and I found Chris randomly online and it was the greatest find we could make. Chris is absolutely wonderful!
We had a guerrilla-style wedding and are constantly asked questions about how it was accomplished. Honestly, we had no idea what a guerrilla wedding was until we found Chris and read his website. My wife and I initially thought we would simply end up at a courthouse (we wanted to elope with just a few friends and family members present), but when Chris described the several L.A. landmarks he had performed ceremonies at “on the fly” all of a sudden we were excited to pick a great location to make our day that much more memorable. We had two locations in mind and Chris helped us in making the right choice based on his previous experiences at those locations. My wife and I had no idea what we were doing and Chris was so kind, patient and helpful; he walked us through every step of the way. What was especially impressive is that, with Chris’ help, we were able to plan our wedding within a month (granted, our wedding took place on a Wednesday).
Not only is Chris’ fee extremely reasonable, especially when considering all the paperwork he does on your behalf, but he makes the entire process completely painless and headache free. Anytime we became apprehensive about certain aspects of the wedding and had questions, Chris was there to put our minds at ease. He was super quick in responding to all our emailed questions and even took the time to answer a question I had while he was ON VACATION. Such a great guy!
Honestly we cannot praise Chris enough. We have recommended him to several friends and family members already. So many have asked us about how we planned our wedding. The answer? We simply could not have done it without Chris, The Officiant Guy.

Chris was a key component in our perfect wedding experience. We learned of Chris because my brother used him at his wedding several years ago. I remember our initial reactions at the time when my brother said that he and his future wife "found a guy on the internet to marry us"... but we were knocked out at that wedding and knew we would eventually use him as well.
For our wedding, Chris gave us all the materials and information that allowed us to customize our big day. This was wonderful because, with our hectic work schedules, we didn't want to just have a generic wedding but were overwhelmed at the thought of figuring it all out from scratch. Chris was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the process. On the day of the event he arrived on time and fully prepared as promised. He came dressed appropriately and had a calm, confident demeanor.
Chris is a true professional -- he really added a lot to the day. Much like a seasoned actor or MC, Chris is able to take whatever arrangement of the ceremony you throw at him (including poems or stories of your own) and deliver them in a completely professional manner. He really went with the flow of everything and explained everything in the detail we needed.
The cherry on top is the fact that Chris handles all the filing of the legal paperwork -- this was a huge help. He also was able to answer many questions regarding how to file, changing names, etc.
I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking to have any size wedding. Our wedding was very small and Chris was really able to blend in with the small family event. However, his professionalism would make him perfect for larger events, as well.

We were visiting from Germany for what you call a destination wedding during our vacation. We really enjoyed our time in Los Angeles and had a wonderful and intimate ceremony officiated by Chris Robinson who also issued our marriage license. We would like to recommend Officiant Guy or Chris Robinson to anyone planning to be married in Southern California.
Christopher Robinson is a very nice man and he made it very easy to be married in LA. He provided wonderful resources to help us write our ceremony and urged us to include our own personal vows to one another. We shared our personal vows in English..
In Germany we need to have an Apostille to show proof that our marriage license and certificate is legal and valid for international purposes. But it is difficult for a visitor to acquire an Apostille because of the time it takes to receive the marriage certificate after the wedding day. But we did not have to worry about that because Chris was pleased to assist us in acquiring our Apostilles from the Secretary of State's office.
We really enjoyed our wedding at UCLA and we appreciate how easy Chris Robinson made it for us. We strongly suggest that you choose him as your Southern California wedding officiant.

My wife and I went over the web looking for an Officiant person and after talking to some people we called that we didn't like so much , we finally found Chris. WHAT A CERTAIN CHOICE ! I have to say that we are very picky when it comes to Costumer Service and basically a personal one like this is. When you get married you want EVERYTHING to be perfect, most of all brides do ! Lol ! Well, then Crhis Robinson is the man for you, guys ! He was all the time reacheable at only a few hours response by e-mail or sometimes minutes on the phone. He was right on time the day of the Ceremony, with a personal touch of warmth that the situation requires. He is always super glad to answer to your questions and doubts prior and after to your wedding. He's qualified, super nice and VERY easy to treat with. Everything was so much easier with him; plus, I am VERY lazy with paper work, and Chris has a service that simplifies it all. He had, for a small extra amount, all the papers ready to sign the day of our wedding to be processed quickly right after . That was HEAVEN for me, so we saved the time and effort to wait for long lines in the County Office and all the process went smooth and with unforgetable happiness. Thanks Chris ! We planned our wedding in 2 months and Chris made the whole process so easy!
1. We didn't have to go to the county clerk’s office which was a total bonus considering the limited amount of time we had.
2. He had plenty of information to help us customize our ceremony. It was short, sweet and just perfect, exactly the way we wanted it to be! Even our guests loved it!
3. He was available to answer all of our questions in a timely manner and on the day of everything went so smooth!
4. We didn't have a rehearsal or anything and you can imagine as a bride I was a little nervous... it couldn't have been more perfect!
5. We liked him so much we've been referring him to all of our friends!

Chris was great! He had married my sister and brother in law years ago and she highly recommended him, she was right we were very happy leading up to the wedding day and the day of. Chris was very helpful and professional and made our day feel very special!

As soon as you talk to Chris, you know he's the right choice. He has a great voice and presence as an officiant -- just the person you want leading your wedding ceremony and becoming part of your memories. He was very helpful, answering all our questions and skyping with us to meet us before the wedding. He conducted our ceremony with grace and some humorous touches that made the event very special. We are completely thrilled to have chosen Chris to be our officiant.

Chris officiated our ceremony back in April 2016 and we thoroughly appreciated his experience, demeanor, warmth and patience with us throughout this whole process. From rapidly responding to all of our many emails loaded with questions, to being available for a few conference calls, to providing detailed suggestions on which SoCal beaches would be ideal for our small wedding ceremony, we couldn't ask for a better officiant. The Officiant Guy married me to my longtime significant other in the late Spring of 2015. So, I am late in posting this review. To Chris, I apologize. Even though I noticed that his reviews and ads did not include same-sex couples marrying, I knew that he would be the right professional to perform our simple ceremony. And I wasn't wrong. Chris was a delight to work with and provided just the right amount of advice and information that allowed us to put together the home ceremony that we wanted when we wanted it. And he dealt with all the required paperwork with the county, and at a very reasonable cost, so that we did not have to spend a day or more dealing with that. Finally, my partner and I need discretion regarding our union at the moment and if that is also your need, have no worries. Chris' level of professionalism with regard to discretion is beyond doubt.

I am so happy that we booked Chris as the officiant for our wedding last april.. He was so helpful throughout the whole process. He made it simple and easy. He arrived to the venue on time was professional and polite.. He performed the ceremony exactly as we has planned and everyone loved it !! He answered any of my questions quickly and was always there with any information i needed. I am so happy we had Chris as part of my wedding we couldnt be happier !! Thank you so much.. !!

Chris was truly a blessing to us. No matter how things were not working out according to plan, he remained calm and guided us through those small obstacles and gave us the absolute best wedding. Chris made us feel as though he had known us for a life time. He was attentive to our needs and wishes and there is no one, who could have officiated our wedding better. He is absolutely wonderful!!! When we decide to renew our vows, he will be our guy!!!!! Thanks again Chris, you are the best!!!!!!

My husband and I could not be any happier with choosing Chris as our wedding officiant! From the first time I spoke with him he was always there to answer questions promptly. His website was very helpful with choosing our vows too. The day of the wedding he was very helpful to my husband and helped ease his nerves! Chris is a great officiant, he made our ceremony perfect and added exactly what we wanted! After the wedding, he has even sent me instructions on how to go about changing my last name. I highly recommend Chris! You won't be disappointed!

Chris Robinson was such a wonderful and fantastic addition to our wedding day! We truly appreciate all of the effort and thoughtfulness he put into our ceremony. It was executed flawlessly and was very special to us both!
Chris was the best officiant that we could have ever asked for! He was easy to work with, professional, responsive, helpful, extremely detail oriented, calm, enthusiastic, structured, and passionate. He helped us in every aspect of our elopement – he gave us many suggestions for beaches in the L.A area to get married, he gave us a multitude of wedding ceremonies we could use and helped us to create our own vows and ceremony. He even applied for a marriage license for us, which was extremely helpful considering we live out of state. He truly goes above and beyond for his clients and it shows. Our wedding day was stress free as we knew we were in great hands!
Thanks so much Chris! You made the process of selecting a ceremony and wedding location on the beach extremely easy for us. We will always have great memories of working with you. Thanks for everything you did to make our elopment perfect!

chris was absolutely wonderful! he was always quick to respond to my emails and never spared any details in answering my questions! my family loved him because he spoke so clearly and warmly, especially because my family's english isn't so good. he was great the day of - on time and very polite. no regrets!

Chris was incredibly professional, and knew how to make a beautiful ceremony. He gave us the exact ceremony we asked for... except, when I sent him my "script" I had forgotten a ring exchange!!! Chris being on the ball, he had one ready to go the day of my wedding because he knew better than I did! We asked for a short and sweet wedding, and that was exactly what we got.
