Wonderful Officiant

Eric was recommended to us by our day of wedding coordinator. We went with him because we liked the fact that we could customize everything about our wedding ceremony and that he had tons of experience officiating weddings. The process to design our ceremony was easy because we just had to pick and choose the different aspects from a given list but also we were able to customize it to make it about us and our relationship. Eric was super helpful and answered all our questions in a timely manner. He presented the ceremony in a wonderful manner and we would recommend him to anyone who is getting married in the future.

A Moving Ceremony

When searching for an officiant, we set out to find someone with a gentle demeanor; kind, calm and wise. Eric had all of these attributes in spades. From the beginning, his approach was so helpful and straightforward. When it came to constructing the script for the ceremony, we had dozens of customizable, beautifully written options to choose from. And since we were involved in selecting excerpts in a collaborative way with Eric, we really felt like the ceremony was true to us.

The script is one thing, the experience of having Eric officiate on the day is another! He arrived promptly and immediately put us at ease with his gentle and charming nature. He had excellent advice before the ceremony so that my husband and I could be fully present and engage with one another. This advice made the ceremony so intimate and shook us out of our jitters completely. The ceremony itself was so poignant, moving and a major highlight of the day. Eric spoke beautifully and brought the words on the page to life. You know that he loves what he does because the passion pours out of him.

Our guests were all in tears and commented that ours was the most moving ceremony they had ever experienced. It’s hard to be objective, but they were echoing our own feelings. What we experienced was so rare and beautiful and we couldn’t have had a better leader in Eric. Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Very professional and eloquent ! Personable

When we booked our venue at Malibu Rocky Oaks our wedding planner recommended Eric to be our officiant. We knew the officiant was a very important role in our wedding ceremony and researched our officiant choices. Eric's website is very organized with videos, bio and text examples of the ceremony. Also other great useful information like how to getting a wedding license.
We emailed him and he responded quickly. We set up a Skype call and felt very comfortable with him. He is very professional as well. He wanted to get to us as a couple and help build our love story for the ceremony. We knew he was the perfect officiant. He set reminders for us to work on our vows many months before the wedding. We also choose the elements and sample readings we liked on an easy sheet he had on his website. He had such a good array of readings and he also let us change it by line or word if needed. We went with the full package to make it more personal and it included our love story. We each filled out questionnaires about our relationship.

Eric then put everything together including the personal love story and let us read it and we Skyped again to review it.
We changed a few words and he rewrote it and was very fast and responsive. He wanted to make sure we were happy with it for our big day.

He came early for our wedding and reviewed the wedding license and mailed it after the wedding for us.

For our ceremony he was very eloquent, professional and made us feel comfortable. He also was very prepared.

Our wedding video was beautiful as well with many of his words in it.

We can't recommend him enough!

Wonderful person!

Even he is not the one performing the ceremony for my wedding day, he took the time to actually introduce me too another officiant and no just let me hanging, he responds fast and has a great attitude!

Excellent Officiant!

Officiant Eric married us in Santa Barbara on September 7, 2019. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional officiant. We loved how we were able to choose each and every word for our ceremony Not only does he have dozens of choices and samples, Eric works with you on each word of your ceremony and allows you to change things up from his examples/lists to have your ceremony fit perfectly to your own relationship. This allows your ceremony to be unique and allows you, with his guidance, to create the wedding ceremony of your dreams! We also chose to have Eric create our personal story and we were thrilled how it turned out! He got “us,” not only by the questionnaire we filled out, but by getting to know us personally. Eric was more than willing to speak to us whenever we needed and even met up with us for coffee to really get to know our vision and our relationship. The way he told our story was so unique, funny, yet there wasn’t a dry eye. He captured “us” so perfectly. Our ceremony was a dream, one we will cherish the rest of our lives. We received so many compliments about Eric from our family and guests.

We also LOVE the way he let the wedding be about us. He quickly moved out of the way, so the photos were just us during the sand ceremony and after he pronounced us husband and wife. We have seen other officiants stay in all the photos and this is something we did not like. Officiant Eric was very conscientious and incredibly humble.

We highly recommend, Officiant Eric!

Eric, is the one!

If you want to have the ability to create the wedding of your dreams, Eric is the one. Eric provides so many ideas and samples to be able to guide you create the ceremony you have in mind. He is so quick at responding and guides you through it all. We had no doubt in him though the whole process. He is very professional and so supportive.

Better than we could have hoped for!

My husband and I are so happy with how our ceremony turned out and have received so many compliments from our friends and family about how great Officiant Eric was. Officiant Eric was fantastic from the start. He was extremely responsive and made the process so much easier on us. We explained what we wanted and what we didn't want and he made it better than we could have imagined. We were able to review the script prior to the ceremony which was a huge perk! And prior to the ceremony Officiant Eric met with myself and my husband separately to congratulate us and to explain how things would go and assure us that everything would go smoothly (that definitely helped with some of the nerves). The Best Officiant there is!

Eric was our number one choice for our wedding officiant. He had such amazing reviews and I absolutely loved his option to personalize our wedding ceremony.
After setting up a time to speak with Eric over the phone, my then fiance and I knew immediately that Eric was the one. He listened to our requests and made suggestions on which option would fit us best. We ended up choosing "The Love Story" package, which was a personalized and fully customized ceremony.
Eric was very east to communicate with either phone, email or skype, and always responded in a timely manner. He provided us with ceremony samples and a bride and groom questionnaire that we filled out separately. I absolutely loved hearing the responses that my now husband said on the questionnaire! With Eric's help, we were able to create the ceremony of our dreams that was unique to us and only us!
As the wedding day approached, Eric finalized our ceremony script and made changes, updates etc per our request. On the day of, Eric was on time, professional, and did such a wonderful job.
He is very talented and would be a wonderful addition to any bride and groom on their wedding day!

Officiant Eric was the best

Officiant Eric was beyond helpful in guiding us throughout the ceremony experience. He made it stress-free and a fun experience for my fiancé and I. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. The only thing that went wrong on our wedding day was ya forgetting the marriage license and check for remaining balance!! So what did he do? He performed the ceremony as though nothing was wrong and even met us the following morning at our hotel to ensure that we were taken care of and certificate of marriage was signed. He was so kind to us and gave us a truly beautiful experience that we will never forget. Thank you Eric!!!

Eric was the ultimate professional and an amazing officiant from beginning to end.

Eric was AMAZING! Super professional, very responsive, and just wonderful to have at our wedding. His wide variety of ceremony selections really lets you custom design your wedding and he allows you the freedom to add or change anything you want. Eric was absolutely fantastic. We didn't want a religious wedding so were a bit unsure about what format to have but Eric's website made it all so easy. We could design it straight off there but even better when we wanted to add bits then Eric was very accommodating, resulting in a ceremony that was perfectly designed for the 2 of us. Eric was on time (quite important!) answered our emails promptly and gave us important reminders on the various administrative things (wedding license etc) that we needed to get done. I would definitely recommend Eric to anyone!

Eric made designing our ceremony so easy. He has dozens of ceremony samples and we could select the elements we liked to create a ceremony that suited us. He also sent helpful information about where and when to obtain our marriage license. The day after the ceremony, he notified us that he'd already mailed in the signed marriage application and provided information about how to get copies of our marriage certificate.

This review is for our wedding which took place on January 6, 2018 at Malibu West Beach Club.

After interviewing a potential officiant who showed up late for our FaceTime talk, talking to Officiant Eric was such a refresher as we planned our wedding. He was always on time and his gentle, collaborative nature always put my wife and I at ease when we talked! His energy is contagious!

Even on the day of, when he walked up to our venue's doors, he seriously calmed my nerves! He even gave my wife and I some tips while we were... y'know, up there getting married!

What I loved about Officiant Eric was the ability to customize our ceremony! It was perfect for us as we didn't really want to have a religious ceremony and we wanted to customize it to our liking. Officiant Eric was encouraging, super helpful, and was open to being available for a FaceTime chat.

Officiant Eric was amazing (and *efficient* might I add hehe), and his personality always brought comfort to this bride and groom!! Thank you so much!

Eric was AMAZING! He made the process SUPER easy especially for such a daunting but important task. The ceremony sets the tone for the rest of the day and that he did - he set the PERFECT tone for the PERFECT day. Whether you want to write your own script or have him craft one for you - there are TONS of options on his website to help you. He lays everything out so there is no guess work on what to include and where yet at the same time completely customizable to your liking. We just recently watched our full wedding video and was able to see and hear the entire ceremony for the first time not in the moment - it only reminded us of how great he was! Since we were doing a secular wedding, I was at a loss for how to find an officiant. Various people suggested having a friend do it, but none of ours really fit the bill. Then I found Eric on WeddingWire. I couldn't understand how someone could have 100% positive reviews on all the wedding sites! I also worried how nice a wedding could possibly be that was created in a "pick n mix" style by someone who didn't know us. Let me tell you - the reviews are definitely legit! From the moment we first met with him, Eric put our fears to rest. He's super responsive, calm, and personable. He kept us on track with reminder emails (including when/how to get our marriage license) and answered any questions we had throughout the process. He has so many options for each of the ceremony sections that it ends up feeling very customized (and you can edit any and all of the words). I doubt anyone ends up with the same wedding script and our guests certainly had no idea that was how it worked. He was also remarkably affordable and arrived with plenty of time to spare on our wedding day.

Officiant Eric was absolutely amazing. When our officiant unfortunately backed out the morning of our wedding, we were devastated to say the least. Officiant Eric answered our call on first ring and was so accommodating to our needs. He met with each of us to gather as much information as he could, and provided us with some peace in all the chaos of getting ready. Officiant Eric was an absolute pleasure to work with! From the very beginning, Eric was extremely responsive, helpful, and supportive. His guidance and clear communication completely eased our nerves and we never had to ask for additional follow-up or for him to re-explain because he did such a great job outlining the process, the options available to us, and his willingness to be available whenever we needed. Eric was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant. We had been to a few weddings, and spoken to a few officiants before Eric, who tended to ramble on and on and almost try to be the star of the show to a degree - our worst nightmare. Eric was perfect. From the get go, he made the process so easy for us - no driving 45 min out of our way in LA traffic to meet - we chatted over Skype for the initial "interview" process. His professionalism really impressed us, and it reflected in his website, which was a godsend - it is so well done and makes creating your perfectly tailored ceremony an absolute breeze! We wanted a short, sweet, and intimate feeling ceremony - and Eric 100% delivered. He was also so wonderful at rolling with the drama, we had a pretty delayed start due to a guest shuttle mishap, and he didn't skip a beat and was so nice and laid back about it. We can't thank him enough and are so happy he was our officiant!

Eric couldn't have been more perfect for our ceremony! He was able to give us exactly what we wanted and also wrote a beautiful and thoughtful love story about us that was unique and special to my relationship with my husband! He gave our ceremony in the perfect tone and with the utmost professionalism! Absolutely perfect! I had many guests comment on how great he was! Also, he was helpful and quick to respond throughout the entire process before. I'm not sure he ever took longer than an hour or 2 to respond during the day. He's great and I couldn't recommend him higher! :)

What can I say about Officiant Eric? He was fantastic in every way! His communication and professionalism was on point and was very accommodating to how we put together our special ceremony. We wanted a non-traditional, non-religious ceremony and Eric made it happen beautifully. He provided a huge variety of ceremonies, and worked with us while we chose many different selections, then he blended them together perfectly. I absolutely loved being able to completely customize the ceremony, and I got so many comments on how personalized and beautiful it was. After the wedding, he kept us posted on our marriage license, answered questions about changing my name, and was so friendly and pleasant through the whole process. I HIGHLY recommend Eric!

Eric was our officiant for our wedding earlier this month. We were planning our wedding out of state, so it was really important for us to find someone who we felt comfortable with and knew would do an outstanding job. After lots of research, we stumbled across Officiant Eric and based on his amazing reviews, we decided to set up a Skype meeting with him. From that first meeting, we knew immediately that he was the officiant for us. We decided to go with the Love Story package, because my husband & I are horrible at coming up with the right words/vows - Eric did such an amazing job creating our Love Story and made everything about our ceremony script flow so beautifully. Throughout our entire wedding process and planning, Eric was always extremely responsive and so helpful. Out of all the wedding vendors we hired, Eric was the absolute best one. Even all of our guests commented on how great of a job our officiant did and how beautiful the ceremony turned out to be. If you don't hire Eric as your officiant, you'll regret it. Officiant Eric was on our wedding location vendor list recommendation as well as various other locations. He has a lot of good reviews. After talking to him, we didn’t hesitate and chose him to be the officiant for our wedding on March 10. Booking process was easy. Customizing the ceremony was a bit hard for us since there are so many good choices on Eric’s website. Eventually we chose and customized our ceremony. We booked Eric without meeting him in person (we just spoke on the phone). Communication throughout wedding planning process was quick. Eric was great to work with. Day of the wedding, Eric was very friendly and well dressed and he was the best officiant. Ceremony was beautiful and he did an amazing job. I would highly recommend him because he is a super nice and good person and most importantly a great officiant.

Eric was great. His website made it so easy to come up with the perfect ceremony script for our wedding. We've received so many compliments on how emotional and heartfelt our ceremony was (without it being cheesy!). Eric was super responsive when we were putting our ceremony together, and the whole process was seamless. Writing our vows was definitely one of the most intimidating parts about planning a wedding- but knowing that we could send them to Eric before hand so he could proof read them and make sure they were cohesive, took a lot of the fear out of the process. It also allowed us to keep them a surprise, so they were even more impactful when we said them. We're really happy we chose Eric to be the officiant for our wedding!!

Eric was absolutely wonderful. We didn't have a real budget for an officiant, so we were happy when we found how affordable Eric is, and even happier to find out how AMAZING he is! I come from a traditional Armenian Christian background and was having the most difficult time finding a priest that would do an outdoor ceremony. After SEVERAL failed attempts I apologized to my parents and took matters into my own hands. After extensive research and recommendations i came across Officiant Eric. Eric was so professional from the start. I was probably the difficult one to deal with as it took me until the last second to finalize our vows. Eric was so patient and put together THE MOST incredible ceremony i could have asked for.. his words literally moved us all. If i could attach photos of the crying faces of our parents as evidence i would. My parents who were EXTREMELY skeptical at first were also stunned at how amazing the ceremony was. We were recommended to Eric through our wedding planner, Kelly Demaray. We had a few referrals to sift through and once we came across Eric's website it was an absolute no brainer that we would proceed with him! His site was fun and easy to use and definitely, in comparison to the others we looked into, the most modern and approachable, which was very important to me and my husband. If you are writing your own custom ceremony, its extremely hard to know where to begin. Eric's website is full of ceremony samples, from religious to secular which makes building your own ceremony a breeze! He also takes the time to review your selections and on more than one or two occasions, advised us on how to make it even better without us even asking for his input which I highly appreciated. On the day of our wedding, he was nothing but kind, warm and genuinely interested in marrying us - which made our ceremony feel all the more special. Eric is so easy to work with and a lovely person to boot! We highly recommend all future brides/grooms to hire Eric. All other officiants pale in comparison!

If you are looking for an amazing officiant, Eric is your guy! Eric is extremely organized, available whenever you need him, and extremely easy to work with. My husband and I were able to fully customize our entire wedding ceremony. Our ceremony was beautiful. There were so many tears from the beautiful words that were spoken. What an absolute joy it was to work with Eric! His website and various options made planning out our ceremony not only easy, but fun as well. The links he had to help with obtaining our Marriage License was very helpful too. He made himself available on several occasions before the wedding to go over any changes we wanted to make to certain wording in the final piece. The day of the wedding, he came up to where I was to see how I was doing and to see if there was anything I needed. I had noticed the ceremony table was in the wrong place and he reassured me he would go move it himself. I had also forgotten the sand and glassware for our Sand Ceremony. I can not express how comforting he was that it would be ok and how no one will know because no one other than me, my Groom, and him knew there was supposed to be a Sand Ceremony. How right he was! Haha! Luckily we had candles and he made it work. what a relief it was.
Eric freed us to make our ceremony fit our personalities and helped us to create a memorable ceremony that I am STILL hearing praises about to this day. :)

Eric presided over our wedding last year. He was referred by the wedding coordinator for the venue, Inn Of The Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon. We could not be happier with Eric. He made himself available to discuss several options for the actual ceremony. He put us at ease; there were many activities all swirling around us simultaneously, yet at the same time. And we were, at times, in a whirlwind of confusion peppered with brief bouts of panic as we tried to get everything arranged to go off on our wedding day without a hitch. Eric showed us that something which at first seemed to us a monumental task could actually be a much more simple and pleasant experience.

Eric was absolutely marvelous in that he was amenable to our schedules and he provided numerous options for the actual vows. On his website he has posted many prior ceremonies from which we were able to get ideas and inspiration for our own ceremony. He suggested a timeline for us to prepare and choose the script for our ceremony, allowing plenty of time to make changes or modifications as needed. This made the whole process so much easier. It was an added convenience that he has organized the website so that it is easy to choose, cut, and paste from various scripts and passages in order to create a more unique and personalized ceremony. And he also encouraged us to write something of our own to include in the ceremony to make it all the more unique.

On the day of the ceremony, Eric arrived early. It was a comfort to be able to rely on Eric to be there, and it put us both at ease. He was professional, well dressed, courteous, and more, he was friendly, like a part of the wedding party. It was a pleasure to have Eric officiate the ceremony. Definitely worth it. His fee was reasonable yet competitive; a bargain we would say. And a good one.

Finding the right officiant for your big day is key and we got so lucky to find Eric! We talked to several others but knew when we met him that he would be a perfect match for what we were looking for. We wanted a non-religous ceremony with a couple traditions thrown in and loved how easy he made it to totally customize everything from the opening words to the breaking of the glass. He has TONS of samples on his website that you can choose from and change how you see fit to make your ceremony 100% what you want! He was very professional, helpful and easy to get along with. I'm soo glad we found Eric to officiate our wedding. He is very professional, with such a great personality. He gave the ceremony a solemn yet upbeat vibe and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Our venue was about an hour away from him and he was there early and even made time to speak to me and the groom before the ceremony. It was truly a pleasure working with him.

To be honest, I chose Eric because of his reviews on this site. I was so stressed and busy with everything else involved in putting a wedding together that I almost forgot I needed an officiant. Eric was an excellent choice for me. His many, many choices for vows, readings, etc. is exactly what I needed. It took so much stress off of me to try to come up with the perfect words because he had them all on paper already. He reached out to me to offer his assistance and kept me on track. He was punctual and professional the day of the wedding. He did a great job performing our ceremony and I could not have been happier. You will not be sorry to have Eric officiate at your wedding! Eric is the best officiant ever! we are so happy we met him through Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. He exceeded our expectations. He was so prompt in responding to our emails and gave us some great feedback while planning our ceremony.

Eric was such a wonderful and important part of our wedding, one of the reasons we chose Eric was because he married my sister a few years back and we loved his warmth and kindness. We knew we wanted to have the same warmth on our big day. Eric adds a special quality and genuineness that is rare. I would never give Officiant Eric any less than 5 stars. I'd give him more if I could. He was always easily accessible through phone call or e-mail which was absolutely perfect for me as I was planning my wedding while working at night. He was easy to talk to and easily adjustable to changes in the ceremony that I would make. He was alway patient which was important because I was not always the most organized bride. I am so thankful for having found Eric to officiate my wedding. He made the words to the ceremony although customized by me, new and special. His words always felt heartfelt although he's probably said my version of the wedding ceremony many times over. I believe that he was a big part of my ceremony's success.

Officiant Eric was wonderful. All his correspondence were very quick and we never had a question that went unanswered! His website is amazing and you can pick and choose exactly what you want to say. No surprise or mistakes here!!! I was able to customize our whole ceremony and have something I love forever! It's littereally one of the most important choices you can make and I recommen Eric!
The day of our wedding it sprinkled a little and he added that in and it was a beautiful touch! He did everything I asked. He spoke beautifully and had care and emotion on his face. If you need an officiant Eric is the best and you will be happy that you chose him!

Eric was the officiant at our wedding at the Universal Hilton Hotel. We first met with him at a coffee shop and his friendly, professional demeanor immediately put us at ease. It was very helpful to be able to pick and choose what we wanted our ceremony script to be, and Eric worked with us via e-mail until it was exactly what we wanted. Our wedding day went off without a hitch. We highly recommend him!

Eric is an exceptional officiant and an overall congenial person. Upon the first meeting, his demeanor and attitude assured us that we were getting a great presenter. He made our ceremony engaging and welcoming- we all have been to weddings where the officiant makes you fall asleep and I dreaded having a ceremony like that! Eric does not let that happen! The customization of the ceremony to our personalities was effortless thanks to Eric's guidance. We are definitely glad we chose Eric for our big day!

Eric officiated my wedding to my partner Edwin. He was able to deliver a ceremony that was meaningful, symbolic, light hearted and funny, yet a complete representation of us as a couple. We met him a few months prior to our wedding and he had been professional and responsive through out the leading months to our date. He arrived early and everything ran completely smooth. Our friends, family and guests were delighted by his clear speaking voice and LOVED how he encouraged us to take a selfie mid ceremony! (Something we are notorious for!) Truly was a highlight as he made it more unique and special!

We are so glad that we hired Eric as our officiant! He was so easy to work with, and responded to any questions that we had right away. We knew that we were in good hands with him immediately. He showed up in plenty of time the day of the ceremony and he helped to calm our nerves right before it started. The ceremony went smoothly and perfectly. It was so heart felt and Eric helped to make it just perfect for us. We had several people come up to us afterwards and tell us how great our officiate was. We chose Eric to be our officiant for our wedding after reading all the great reviews about him and interviewing him. Just as we expected, he was awesome and delivered a great ceremony! He was very professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work him! He made it very enjoyable for us to plan the ceremony with him with his easy-to-use system and step-by-step instructions. Eric was an excellent officiant, I highly recommend him. He made everything so easy for us. From our first meeting via Facetime, I knew that he would do an excellent job. Eric is extremely well spoken, professional, helpful and very easy to work with. His website was so easy to use, and we were able to view an assortment of words and vows to put them together to our liking. Eric is a non-denominational officiant so he can accommodate any religion or spiritual belief. Our vows were mostly spiritual in nature, and Eric did a spectacular job. His words were very touching and meaningful. Eric was so good about following up with phone calls, and questions, he always got back to me within an hour. He dressed very sharp for our wedding, and the customer service he provided was excellent. Even though I know he is a busy person, he made us feel like we were his only clients. We were very happy with Eric, and I know that you will be to!

Eric was a great officiant. We met with him and he went over his services with us and went over how to plan the ceremony. He has a great website that guides you through how to layout the ceremony so you know exactly what will be said before the big day. We went into it not knowing anything about a normal ceremony, so all his information was an immense help. Eric was always available via email to answer any questions and was very helpful. The day of went perfectly and the ceremony went off without a hitch.

I recently got Married by Officiate Eric, he was everything we could have asked for as far some one marring us. I was able to pick passages that best fit us, that Eric provided. He is quick to respond to any question that came up. He was able to provided me with the necessary information we need to obtain our Marriage Certificate.In fact while we were away on our honeymoon, Eric mailed our Copies to the County Clerk Office and exactly 3 weeks later we have our license.Out of all the wedding worries Eric was the last person on my mind and I just knew we were in good hands.

We are so grateful that we found Officiant Eric! We had a friend officiate our wedding, but we didn't know how to begin writing the ceremony or our vows. Then we found Eric and it was like a dream come true! He guided us through the ceremony process and wrote everything out for us. He then did a Skype meeting with us and our friend who was officiating. Our friend had never officiated a wedding before, but Eric went through the entire process with us and gave us all the tips we needed. Our wedding was so beautiful.
