Great Experience
Doug officiated my grandson's beach wedding last week. Great communication and great personality. He arrived on time. He went above and beyond when the hired photographer was a no show due to them putting down then wrong address. Doug promptly made a phone call to another photographer and within twenty minutes he arrived. This worked out as he was able to take some sunset pictures with the newly wedded couple. Thank you Doug for your prior service to our country and for the great service last week. It was an honor talking to you.

Officiant Doug was absolutely a blessing, right from the beginning. He communicated with me about everything and stayed in contact until the wedding day. We absolutely loved our experience with Dr. Officiant Doug!!! He was so personable and very responsive in text and email! Could not have asked for a better officiant!
He asked each of us 5 questions: what our first impressions were of each other, our first date, the proposal, what we love about each other and why we wanted to get married to each other. He had included just about everything in our ceremony which is exactly what we had talked about and even more. The entire ceremony was so personalized that our guests thought that we had known him forever! He had the entire audience engaged from start to finish.

Officiant Doug is truly a God sent! I contacted him on Wednesday and was married on Friday! I chose to elope in the micro chapel and I was not disappointed. It was more than I expected. I added music and had my brother to walk me down the aisle. Officiant Doug was so professional, friendly, and I could not have asked for more. I had a few guest who was running late and he was more understanding than I was. I am so thankful that I chose to contact him. I will be forever grateful! We knew we wanted to have a ceremony that was quick (under 30 minutes) and pretty non-secular. Doug was so patient and kind from day 1. It’s like you’re meeting an old friend because he is that nice and welcoming. We had a FaceTime call 2 weeks prior to our big day and went over all of the different types of ceremonies he had and edited them how we wanted it to be. Doug showed up early despite traffic to Pensacola and did his job so well. Even with that being the first time we met him, he spoke with such admiration of us and just overall so pleasant to work with (never overdid it and not cheesy at all). He made the crowd laugh and even made them shed a few tears. You will not be disappointed with him! He is truly so fantastic inside and out. Thank you for making our big day so memorable!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Doug! We actually hired him for our small family-only wedding this year as well as our ceremony next year. He was so amazing, responsive, patient, and has an amazing sense of humor. Officiant Doug beach wedding
We had officiant Doug officiate our wedding on the beach. He was great at speaking up and had a lot of different options for letting us decide exactly how we wanted our ceremony to look. He also stepped aside during important parts of our ceremony so that he wasn’t in the background of the pictures which was great!

Working with Doug was so easy! We planned our Tallahassee wedding from West Palm Beach and working with Doug was a breeze. I like that we could personalize our ceremony script to fit us as a couple, and Doug was there to help us with any questions that we had along the way. Best. Officiant. Ever!
Doug is the best! He made our special day so memorable! His office decor was perfect and non overbearing . The exposed brick wall along with the white seats and decor is a perfect blend of rustic and elegance. Doug was friendly, professional, funny, and relatable. He felt like a member of the family! He was patient while we took pics, and even ate dinner with us afterwards at The Place Downtown! Because he performed our ceremony, The Place popped a bottle of champagne in our honor! They even signed the bottle (it was Doug's idea!) I am so grateful that Doug's expertise and passion helped me relax and further enjoy our special day! If you want an officiant who loves his job and can make your special day so much more memorable, please go with Doug!

Fantastic Officiant
After moving our wedding several times due to Covid, we decided to elope, and I reached out to Doug on relatively short notice regarding our ceremony. He was very quick to respond both initially and throughout the process, helpful when we were finalizing our nuptials, completely flexible when asking if he would be willing to accommodate our ceremony location at Grayton Beach State Park, and he was fun!! I could not have been happier with our decision. We would do it all over again. I would highly recommend him!

Doug, is the best! First off he is very professional and our service was perfect. He was able to write our story better than we ever could. It had us all laughing (thats exactly how we wanted it). But it was also very special and something we will always remember. With everything that happened in 2020 he worked with us on our date change and even helped with getting our marriage certificate with the court house shut down. Best to just book him already.

The BEST Officiant!
Everything about Officiant Doug was PERFECT! He was always quick to respond to any questions I had either through email or phone. He was very personable and felt like a friend when I was talking to him.
On the day of the wedding, it started to rain, and he went with the flow on the change of location.

A perfect and professional summary of us on our big day
Doug was amazing during our big day. He was also super flexible and helpful through the process. We were originally supposed to be married 6 months before our original date but due to Covid we had to reschedule. He rolled with it with us and was great to work with. From my initial phone call and introduction to Doug all the way through the ceremony and him signing our marriage license was an absolute wonderful and flawless experience. He made both myself and my now wife feel that he was attentive to both of our needs and desires and expectations during the ceremony. He was flexible when we last minute changed the time of our ceremony. He arrived early and helped us set up as well as carry the items down to the beach from our vehicle. He had great suggestions for the photos and staging our rings and he officiated a beautiful ceremony. He also offered great suggestions for the vow portion of our ceremony. He put obvious thought and heartfelt words Into our ceremony and was very willing to officiate a non religious event. We would strongly recommend Doug to any couple needing an officiant. Wonderful!
Last minute beach wedding and Doug was willing to travel to Cape San Blas for the ceremony. Great communication and awesome ceremony. Absolutely perfect!! Highly recommend!

Doug was great & accommodated our non-traditional wishes!
After seeing Doug photo bomb the couples that he has married and reading the reviews, I knew he was the Officiant for us. My husband and I have known each other since 1984. We wanted to integrate our history together to our ceremony, our inside jokes to represent our love 💕 of laughter, to celebrate our love for each other in an intimate, fun-loving beach wedding. Doug was great! He allowed us to piece together and customize our ceremony to fit us. He delivered our inside jokes like a pro and helped make our wedding day memorable and fun! Due to the whistling wind and loud crashing waves from a nearby storm, we ended up having our ceremony on a balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Doug was flexible with the last minute change. I am happy to report the sound on our video turned out great! I highly recommend Doug for your wedding! Thanks so much, Doug!!!
