I can't recommend Lindsay enough!
From our very first intro call, Lindsay took the time to really get to know us, our relationship, our story, and what we wanted our ceremony to feel like. By the end of that first conversation, she had already put together a personalized preview of the ceremony that honestly had me in tears.
Throughout the planning process, Lindsay checked in regularly, sent thoughtful prompts to help us reflect on our relationship, and worked collaboratively with us to create a ceremony that felt completely authentic and personal.
She flawlessly led our rehearsal the night before the wedding, arrived early on the big day, and was the perfect balance of professional, organized, warm, and fun. She was also incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the entire process.
Our guests absolutely RAVED about the ceremony.
People laughed, cried, and kept telling us how special and personal it felt. Many even thought Lindsay must have known us for years because she captured us so perfectly.
We truly could not have asked for a better officiant.
Lindsay made our ceremony unforgettable, and we're so grateful to have had her as such an important part of our wedding day! -

We cannot say enough good things about Lindsay as our officiant for our October of 2025 wedding ceremony. From the get-go, not only did she make room in her schedule that was fully booked for us, but at every turn she went above and beyond to get to know us as a couple and our story. The end result was the perfect, personalized ceremony that left us and our guests smiling and shedding tears of joy right along side us. While we were the highlight of the ceremony as the bride and groom, Lindsay was a close second and all of our guests were sure to let us know that! We cannot recommend Lindsay Gannon enough as a wedding officiant! From the very first meeting, Lindsay's down-to-earth and approachable personality made us feel at ease and confident. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, and her passion for her job truly shone through in everything she did.
What stood out to us the most was Lindsay's exceptional attention to detail. She made sure every aspect of the ceremony was tailored to our unique story, and her clear communication throughout the entire process kept us both comfortable and happy. She ensured that every word spoken during our ceremony was meaningful and reflective of our relationship.
Lindsay's personalized approach was one of the reasons our ceremony was so special. It was clear that she focused wholeheartedly on making our day exactly what we envisioned. We never felt rushed or like we were just another couple. Lindsay made us feel like we were the only ones that mattered on our wedding day.

We don’t usually write reviews for anything, so that should speak to how much we appreciate Lindsay!
Lindsay was an absolute ROCKSTAR! From our very first meeting, she made sure to prioritize what we wanted in our ceremony and made sure it reflected who we are as a couple. She is incredibly inclusive (i.e. confirming pronouns, the way we refer to each other, and how we wanted to be announced) and detail oriented. It was super helpful having her walk through all the event details with us and asking questions about things we may have missed.
On the wedding day, she showed up early and ready to help as needed. She really came in clutch with her shipping tape and positive attitude. The ceremony was BEAUTIFUL. She was so full of emotion and always checked in with us to ensure it wasn’t too much for us. Our family adored her and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more professional and authentic officiant.
Highly recommend her for anyone looking to do a small ceremony like we did and if you’re looking for someone to craft a ceremony that speaks to you and your partner. We love Lindsay sooo much and appreciate her being a part of our journey! -

Absolutely Amazing! Working with Lindsay Gannon for our wedding that just happened on October 14th has been a great experience. While looking for Officiants in the Maine Area, we wanted someone who could share My Fiancés and I love for each other and adventures to our friends and Family. We were having a destination Wedding from MA/CT to Maine for only a select few Parents, Grandparents and siblings and a set of friends. From start to finish Lindsay was there every step of the way!!!! I loved her passion, energy and beautiful presence. They way she organized the words of our ceremony to the way she helped Paul and I feel so very comfortable at rehearsal and during the ceremony, it was exactly how we dreamed it could be. Our families loved our story and couldn’t say enough about Lindsay and her presentation of us. We would highly recommend hiring Lindsay to anyone who is looking not just for an officiant but someone who will put in the time, effort and care to produce the most beautiful and amazing wedding ceremony. -

Lindsay is a 10/10!
Lindsay was absolutely WONDERFUL from our first meeting to our wedding day. She helped us craft the most beautiful and sentimental ceremony that captured both of us perfectly. She was always available for questions, guidance, and suggestions. The "secret section" she included in our ceremony was a highlight that made our wedding that *much* more special. During the rehearsal and the wedding, Lindsay was a calming presence that allowed us to be fully grounded and present in the moment. 10/10 would recommend. Exactly who I was looking for!
My husband and I were happy to have Lindsay as our officiant. We did our meetings through zoom and she was very flexible with our schedules and last minute changes! If my husband and I could choose one word to describe our entire experience with Lindsay, it would be PERFECTION. From our very first email exchange/inquiry, to announcing Ryan and I as husband and wife, it was perfect. We had absolutely no doubt after our first Zoom meeting, that Lindsay was our perfectly matched officiant. We wouldn't want anyone else to lead our day! Lindsay openheartedly guided us through the entire process, from start to finish. She created the most magical ceremony we could have ever hoped for and instructed a detailed and well executed rehearsal. Lastly, she conducted the ceremony of our dreams in front of all our friends, family and loved ones better than we ever could have imagined. It was so incredibly special and a perfect way to depict our love story. We will be forever grateful to Lindsay for making this experience so amazing. So many guests and other vendors complimented us on it being "the most beautiful ceremony they have ever witnessed." And Ryan and I agree! Lindsay was absolutely amazing. She supported us every step of the way. From making sure we got the marriage license on time, to our vows, to making us feel at ease during the rehearsal when we had to improvise due to a lightning storm about to hit! The wedding ceremony was beautiful and exactly what we wanted thanks to Lindsay. My father in law couldn't believe how a ceremony with 175 people could feel so intimate. One of the best things we did in the wedding planning process was hire Lindsay. She is communicative, professional, and a joy to work with. Lindsay was very accommodating to all of our requests and questions leading up to our wedding day. She was very helpful during the rehearsal to get rid of any nerves we had by making my husband and I (and our bridal party) feel at ease and confident in what we were doing. She worked closely with us to design a ceremony that was personal, engaging, and sincere. Our guests raved about the ceremony, and many said they loved how authentic it felt to us as a couple. The ceremony was really the most important part of the day for us, and she knocked it out of the park. Do not hesitate to book with her! -

Lindsay is an absolute delight! From the moment we first decided Lindsay might be the right fit to the moment she said, "I now pronounce you husband and wife," we couldn't have asked for anyone better. She is extremely responsive, which was huge positive for us since we were planning a destination wedding. I was slightly hesitant initially because I had definitely underestimated an officiant in my wedding budget, let me just say Lindsay is worth every penny. She took our love story and made it sing! Lindsay was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. She was super responsive at all times and wrote the BEST ceremony for our wedding. Everyone laughed and everyone cried....it was so special. Everyone raved about how great our ceremony was and it was all thanks to Lindsay. If you are on the fence, don't be! Hiring Lindsay as our officiant was one of the best decisions we made! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It was our good fortune to find Lindsay Gannon through some light research into officiants in the Portland area. Lindsay was incredible and felt like family by the time our little micro wedding was over. Lindsay is thorough, efficient, and helpful in the days leading up to the ceremony. On our wedding day, Lindsay traveled about an hour to our farm location, early and ready to hype us up for Our first unforgettable moments as bride and groom. Amazing lady!
Lindsay LITERALLY was so amazing. I literally couldn’t have found a better officiant. She came in knowing everything she was supposed to do and then some. She is so amazing in every single way. She was so kind, and knew how to handle the ceremony. I’m not good at writing long sweet things. Honestly, she helped every step away. Making sure I had everything for the wedding ceremony, and making sure I knew what I was supposed to do. She answered every question I asked. We would recommend Lindsay to anyone!
My husband and I could not be happier to have had Lindsay as our officiant! She went above and beyond by meeting with us virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to get to know us and plan our ceremony. She kept in touch during the months leading up and was so accommodating when we decided we were going to change our wedding date to 2021 and have a small backyard ceremony this year instead. Lindsay was so easy to talk to and really calmed my nerves on the big day. We didn’t have to worry about anything with her!
We had a great time working with her and our family and friends loved her too :) Sadly, Lindsay is not available for our date next year, but has been willing to help in any way possible in finding us another officiant for our vow renewals and big wedding celebration. We would recommend Lindsay to anyone! -

What can we say about Lindsay...? She was our skin-of-the-teeth runner-up as our original choice for officiant - but when our wedding was postponed due to COVID and our first officiant was no longer able to serve us, Lindsay sprang to the rescue! She was so incredibly engaging, took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for, crafted a beautiful ceremony, and took my CDO (OCD but in alphabetical order) edits with grace and a smile. She set us at ease, guided our party through a simple but efficient rehearsal, and saw us through a perfectly beautiful day! Not once did I have to wonder whether she had something coordinated or in-hand - I knew she did, and that knowledge allowed me to sit back, turn OFF the CDO, and just enjoy the day :) Owen and I could not be more grateful to have had Lindsay in our corner - and I know you'll feel the same way. You won't go wrong in choosing her as your officiant! -

Lindsay was fantastic! From the moment we met her we knew she would handle our ceremony with care. She was thoughtful, patient, and professional with every interaction. We loved that each of us secretly filled out a survey and sent it to her so she could customize our event and insert some humor and romance and surprises. COVID had us planning, and replanning our event a few times and each call with us she helped us think through details, offered to make calls to help us find venues and assured us things would work out.....and they did....just perfectly. Lindsay was all we could have ever asked for. She is so friendly, professional, personable, easy-going, thoughtful, and just over all an amazing person. She doesn’t want to just get to know you to write a ceremony for you, she wants to get to know you because she truly cares and wants to do the best she can for you. We have two young children, one of them being very active and not very likely to sit still for longer than 2 minutes. With all of the “interruptions”, or as we like to call them, “moment enhancers” that our daughter had during our ceremony, Lindsay was so involved and able to deal with those moments and carry on the ceremony without a hitch. She even brought some toys for our daughter to play with, that’s how thoughtful she is. Lindsay always keeps you in the loop and updated every step of the way, and even holds your hand, sometimes literally, through the process. We couldn’t have wished for a better officiant for one of the most important days of our lives. -

Lindsay is amazing!
If you are looking for a Wedding Officiant in Maine, Lindsay is your girl! When we decided to elope in Maine, we knew no vendors, no locations, nothing. We had 3 weeks to plan a wedding and we had never even been there! Finding Lindsay on Wedding Wire was such a blessing. She immediately calmed my nerves and was willing to help in any way possible. She always replied quickly with correspondence, and I felt like I was planning with a friend, not a stranger. Without even meeting us until moments before the wedding, she prepared the sweetest, most intimate vows for us. She is so sweet and kind and down to earth. We simply could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony. If we could do it all over again we'd pick Lindsay every time! She made our special day even more special by being a part of it. -

Created our perfect day!
Lindsay from Official Yours created the most perfect ceremony for us! Our large dream wedding was affected by the COVID pandemic. She worked with us and our decision to have an intimate elopement in our home this year and keep our plans for our large wedding next year. She crafted two perfect ceremonies - one for this year and one for next. The weeks leading up to the elopement, she kept in touch and guided us through the process. On our wedding day she spent the day with our families, kept the light agenda moving along and finally delivered our ceremony perfectly and from her heart.
She was so helpful throughout the entire day! Organized personal touches for us and our guests, ran errands and made the day special. Lucky for us, Lindsay is one of our nearest and dearest friends. She watched us come together as a couple, fall in love, and did the honors of making us official! On top of everything - she even took the overnight feeding of our 6 month old daughter! Full service officiant! 😂❤️ We can’t say enough about Lindsay, her professionalism and kind heart....and we are excited to have her do another ceremony for us next year! 🥂 -
