Off The Grid was an amazing location for our reception, and the versatility of the experience they can provide is remarkable! We had a fabulous time at our beautifully decorated reception, with plenty of flexible space within which to create the idea we had been envisioning! Thanks, Off the Grid!

I was very impressed with Off The Grid. They are laid back and easy going, yet maintain professionalism and are on top of emails and getting back to me. It was also BYOB which saved us a lot of money. They also handled our table, table cloth, flatware, and glasses rental as well as our catering! I loved that it was centralized because it made it a lot easier for me. Our guests kept commenting about how unique and cool the venue was too :) Everyone was happy!

I loved having my wedding at Off the Grid. The location is so unique and beautiful, I still have people asking and commenting on it! They are very laid back and really do their best to do specifically what you want for your wedding. Not to mention you will not be able to beat the prices they offer at off the grid! The catering they offer was delicious and the fact that it is BYOB was SO great and saved us a ton! I will never forget how amazing the venue looked and how special it made my night!

Overall, our wedding reception at Off the Grid went very well. They are quite flexible and helpful. We also used their catering, and we were quite satisfied with it as well. The staff set up the tables, etc. and we were free to do the decorations ourselves so they could be the way we wanted them to be. This venue lends itself especially well to amazing photographs, due to the dramatic architecture and downtown view.

Bruce was very flexible when it came to the terms of our contract (allowed me to use an extra space in the building for the kids room), also gave us an extra hour for clean up.

Unique place to get married that is very flexible and a good value. Bruce was always very fast to answer any email I sent which was nice but he was not always 100% correct in what he was saying. I asked if we could use sparklers and he said it was fine but wedding time came and the fire marshall was there and said if we used the sparklers it would be a 2000 dollar fine. He MIGHT wanted to mention that so maybe we could of had a back up plan. We ended up having to use glowsticks waving around... so lame! The guys he has working for him were very fast and efficent and helped set up and clean even though we didnt pay for that. Loved the flexibility of having alcohol and not stuck to only a list of catering places we could use.

The venue was awesome and definitely DIY, which was perfect for us. The owner is great to work with and answers all questions, but it seems he isn't very detail oriented, so you need to stay on top of what the contract says and anything else about the catering, etc. As for Larry, the on-hand event coordinator guy...very unprofessional. He wasn't even there for half of the wedding time, has you fill out the floor plan on an 8x11 paper instead of taking the very detailed autocad from the owner that you have spent all weekend filling out, and makes awkward announcements over the PA system without asking. And he was also not very detail oriented. I am still very happy I chose Off The Grid and would recommend it to have a party in, but Larry left much to be desired. Hire a professional wedding coordinator instead.

Chef John produced an amazing Tex-Mex buffet. He was a little hard to get a hold of and get a menu down, but it was worth it in the end! Everything worked out amazingly!

The venue is beautiful!!!! It's very industrial and rustic so you can't mess you when you decorate. However, if you want anything extra, such as lights, isle runner, or even a high chair for children, you have to pay extra for it. Also, if you don't use their chef then they don't set up the event for you and that made me mad. They held a party the night before my wedding so I couldn't have a rehearsal there so the day of was hectic and the employees were not on time to open up the venue. I also paid for a lighting package that was never set up. I also never met the owner! We only spoke on the phone, text or email and I think that was very unprofessional. But I still love the venue and the history behind it!!
