Awesome DJ for our wedding reception!

Harry and Tommy were professional, organized, and lively! They made our reception so much more fun with their music choices and commentary throughout the evening. Harry was very coordinated in talking with our venue and was always responsive in answering our questions. It was so easy to sit back and trust that Harry and Tommy would lead our event well! Would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy and fun DJ!

Perfect Wedding and Entertainment

We hired Harry and Tom to be our DJs at our wedding this past Saturday and they went above and beyond! They took every bit of information we provided them and even allowed us to change songs a couple days prior to the wedding day. They are both beyond professional and very easy going. Since wedding day, Harry has reached out to thank us for allowing them to be a part of our special day which shows how much he loves his work. They kept the party going and everybody on their feet dancing and having a great time! Made sure we were on track with keeping everything to the schedule during the craziness which we really needed. Thank you Octave Entertainment Group for an amazing experience!

Can’t Recommend Enough!

Between my wife and I, we have known Harry for 10+ years. And having listened to him perform all those times in clubs, bars & receptions, we knew there was no one else we would have perform at OUR wedding reception. We actually made sure all the times we had to reschedule that he would definitely be available!

Harry sat down with us to discuss our itinerary, and not only took our recommendations, but had a few of his own. Any uncertainties we had or anything we were on the fence about, his input helped tremendously and we had NO REGRETS!

With the combined forces of Harry and Tom, it was everything we wanted and more at our reception. Even in 2020, these two will have people up on the dance floor and cutting loose! They played all the music we selected and then some!

Our guests all had a blast and we can't recommend them enough!

Above and Beyond Perfection!

Harry and DJ Mike were fantastic throughout the entire process of hiring a DJ for our wedding reception! It was a stressful process planning a wedding during the current pandemic circumstances but not with Octave Event Group. Harry was fantastic with communicating with us and was very flexible, cooperative, and understanding when we had to move our entire event to a different location. DJ Mike made the 2hr plus drive back and forth and was early and prepared! The music choices made were perfect and led to an evening full of dancing and fun! Look no further for a DJ for your event, they are the best! Thank you Harry and DJ Mike for making our day so special!

Harry will not disappoint!

Choosing Harry as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! He was organized from the beginning, made me feel comfortable that he would take care of everything from our first conversation, and did not disappoint! He kept our guests up and dancing all night, he kept us on our time schedule perfectly which was SO important to me, and had everything ready to go without any questions on the day of the event. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for an event DJ to give Harry a call!

Best DJ Ever!!

Harry + his team blew our expectations out of the water! I am so thankful for the legendary dance party Harry organized for us. We have been married for 4 months and STILL hear from our friends and family how amazing the DJ was at our wedding. From start to finish Harry was a fast friend and talented vendor. Professional, talented, and an unforgettable experience.

Harry and Octave Event Group gave us the perfect soundtrack to the happiest day of our lives. We had so much fun on our wedding day and our guests all gave wonderful feedback, and much of the credit goes to Harry.

Everything was superb, from Tom’s (MC) introductions all the way through the final song (an epic rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody). The volume control during the entire reception, especially during dinner, was spot-on and much appreciated.

Once Harry started to spin the dance mix, it did not stop. The dance floor was shaking for almost two straight hours. Usually a DJ may miss the mark on one or two songs and the dance floor clears for a bit, but not with Harry. The dance mix was absolute fire, start to finish.

Above all else, Harry was polite, professional, and seemed genuinely happy to be part of our wedding day. We will forever be grateful for his contribution to our special day.

Literally shook the dance floor

Harry and Tom were great. They were organized and helped lead us through the reception. We didn’t have to think about anything the day of. They also jumped to help us after the DJ we had originally planned to use canceled. They played all genres of music, and you could tell harry was very experienced on the turn tables. I can’t tell you what they did at the end as our exit, but it was one of my favorite experiences of the night. It literally will never leave our memories. And it literally shook the dance floor. Book them to experience it yourself. 🤗

From the moment we heard of Octave at a previous wedding we attended a year prior we fell in love with them. When we were engaged we knew we wanted to hire them for our wedding. Harry’s knowledge of music and expertise in disc jockeying really brings a unique mix of all genres of music together.
Octave has a unique style which all your guest will appreciate from the beginning till the end of your event.
We met with Harry prior to our wedding and he really took his time getting to know us and seeing what kind of music we were interested in for our wedding. The way he dissects songs and blends them together keeps your guest on the dance floor all night long!
I would recommend Octave for any event.

If you’re anywhere near Southeast PA, you HAVE to use Octave Event Group as your music and lighting vendor. Fantastic customer service, easy to work with, and they will make your day special the way YOU want it to be. Worth every penny- and was affordable for our budget at that. A++

Great Experience!!

Octave made our day! DJ Q-Ball and Tom(MC) killed it! Everyone had so much fun, the dance floor was full the entire night and we had several people ask for information on our DJ! Sean made sure everyone had the best time at the photo booth! We had the best wedding ever and we thank Octave for making that happen!!

Such an amazing job by DJ Seany Rob! Sean made our wedding day perfect on 5/12/18. He played the best songs and was beyond professional. Sean was also by himself and still made sure everything ran smoothly. Sean kept the dance floor full and everyone danced the night way. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!. Recently got married and initially had a band I wanted but that fell through and to be honest I was bummed. I got linked up with Harry and Sean and we talked music for a few hours. They listened to my vision and Harry let his creativity take it from there. I never left the dance floor so much so that I didn’t eat. I’m pretty sure no one even made a request.

Since the wedding every initial comment is that the DJ was the best I’ve ever experienced and Harry definitely made it a unique experience.

Harry Dean and Octave Event Group did an amazing job for our wedding a couple weeks ago. From start to finish Harry showcased professionalism and helped navigate Hannah and I through the process. He made things very easy and was fantastic to communicate with. The best part of all though, and the most important to me and Hannah was the response the crowd had when Harry was spinning the music. Everyone was dancing non-stop and Harry executed a masterful job of catering to the crowd and feeling the pulse of his customers. He weaved all kinds of music together to create an amazing experience. People were raving that we hired this guy for our wedding. We were getting compliments all night and I still have a couple tunes I had no idea he would play stuck in my head. What a memorable experience. Thank you!

My wife and I had our wedding on March 10, 2018. Octave Event Group supplied our DJ (Sean R.), MC (Justin), and Photobooth (Sean W.). They made everything very simple, and were easy to work with. The DJ mixed together a superb arsenal of music, which pleased both of our families. The MC made sure that things went smoothly, names were pronounced correctly, and all communication went perfectly. The Photobooth was a big hit with our guests. We enjoyed the provided props. They also included a Videographer during our event. Afterwards, Octave provided digital copies of all photos taken from the booth. Octave also worked with our venue to provide up-lights for curtains, walls, and tables. I would highly recommend Octave if you are looking to provide the best entertainment for your wedding/event!

.... i cant say enough great things ab octave event group and the job they did at my wedding . From beginning to end, Harry and his team were excellent. Mike made the flawless announcements with class and Harry crushed the music from cocktail hour until they kicked us out. Literally everyone was on the dance the floor enjoying themselves. My husband and I could have not have picked a better DJ for our wedding day! Let's face it wedding guests are interested in 3 things; the food, the drinks and the dancing! The music sets to tone for how the rest of the evening is going to play out. Sean was our DJ and completely exceeded our expectations. During the planning process I wanted to make sure the music selection was played for all ages. There was not one song that was played that turned our guests away. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. Sean was so easy to work with and really helped throughout the planning process. He was very flexible with out meeting times and made very helpful suggestions. He was awesome with some last minute decisions as well. Our guests were raving about the music that was played and how great our DJ was. One of my bridesmaids is getting married in July of 2018 and actually decided to use the Octave Event Group because of how much fun her and her fiance had at our wedding! If you’re getting married in the area and are searching for the perfect DJ then look no further!!! Harry and Dave with Octave Event Group are a class act and will ensure that your wedding never skips a beat, literally! To say that I was stressed in the weeks leading up to our wedding is an understatement. But after our final meeting with Harry, he had our entire evening mapped out and sent us the full itinerary so that we could not only have it for our own records but so that we could share it with our pastor and our event coordinator at the venue. After that it was smooth sailing. He was so thorough when helping us plan our night. He asked us what type of vibe we were looking for for different points throughout the night and even offered up suggestions. When we were stuck on which songs to select for different events like bridal party announcements and cake cutting, he had an app that offered up a list of song selections for each occasion. On the day of our wedding, Harry showed up promptly to ensure he had everything set up. He also ordered us a hologram of our names to display on the wall which we were supposed to pay him for and instead he generously offered that up as a gift to us since he’s known my fiance’s family for a while and we couldn’t be more grateful! Dave was our MC and he was great! Harry introduced us to him at the beginning of the night and let us know that Dave would be the one making sure that the evening flowed appropriately and reminding us of the next steps throughout the night so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He was so friendly and professional and made sure that our night was just perfect! And now finally, on to the MUSIC!! Ahhhh, Harry is incredible!!! He played the best songs and mixes with so many different versions of such great songs! We had so many people come up to us and tell us that he was hands down the best dj they’d ever heard at a wedding, and we could agree more! We are so grateful to Harry and Dave!!!

Harry and his team went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests, no matter how big or small. He was our DJ and brought Sean to be the MC. They both made sure all of our guests were up and moving. We also had a photo booth from them as well. Our guests really enjoyed it and we have pictures from the wedding that our photographer would not have been able to capture. We were given digital copies, a hard copy in a photo album, and our guests received copies as well. If I had to do it all over again, I’d still be confident in our decision to go with Octave Event Group.

Harry and his team were amazing! From the initial planning stages to the execution on the night of, Harry was extremely professional, easy to work with and took a genuine interest in making sure our entertainment would be absolutely perfect. You can tell he knows what he is doing and has a true passion for it, making it easy to trust him to put together a playlist of songs that would keep the dance floor going all night long. I don't think I left the dance floor once! Our MC was also full of energy and the photobooth was a huge hit. I'd recommend Octave Event Group to anyone! (Unless you want a boring wedding ;) )

Amazing! My wife and i got married a few weeks ago on 9-16-17! Harry and his MC were awesome! Showed up on time, were professional, full of energy, courtesy and just done right epic. The dance floor stayed full the whole night, even ppl that don’t usually dance were up having a blast. Played everything we asked. Harry read the crowd so well and knew exactly what to hit us with next. We also ended up extending the reception am extra half hour, harry didn’t question it once, instead he immediately got excited and thru on a hot beat to keep it going. I would strongly recommend octave group to anyone. Thanks harry!

My husband and I are so happy with our experience with Octave event group. Sean was our dj and he was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive before the wedding, Sean covered every detail from our cermony music, to introductions, our reception music, etc. He had a presence and was a great hype man. Sean played a variety of music that accomadated all ages and there was not a moment where people weren't dancing. Many of our guests commented on the music choices and what an awesome dj he was which my husband and I agree!! I spent most of my time on the dance floor and so did alot of the guests. He captured the mood during the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner also. We were all having so much fun, that all our guests stayed till the end and were still dancing till the very last minute of the reception. Sean is a real deal dj, who kept the party going. If you want someone who was amazing to work with, keeps the party going and a great hype man then you NEED to book Octave event group.

Octave Event Group absolutely nailed our wedding reception. They did so well that I had guests coming up to me and raving about how awesome the music was. When speaking with Harry before our wedding day, I asked that they had fun and picked what they thought would get guest moving but did not play the standard music you hear at every wedding. I even provided song requests from our guests to help incorporate the feel we were goin for. The two that Harry set up to do our wedding, Sean and Mike, were able to work with our guests while making sure to play a wide variety of music. My guests were rarely in their seats, unless they needed a break from the dancing. They took song requests through the night and accommodated everyone without question. I couldn’t be happier with how well the night went. Choosing Octave Event Group was the best decision we made through this entire wedding process and I will be telling everyone to contact this group if they need a DJ for any type of event.

Thank you for doing such a great job for our wedding! Mike the DJ did a phenomenal job of taking our preferences into account and the MC (Justin, I think) was VERY friendly and professional. We put our faith in Harry Dean and his team to help us imagine, plan, and pull off our wedding celebration. From the start Harry made it easy and it was clear to us that his experience would allow us to enjoy ourselves on our special day without having to worry about anything. I first met Harry when we opened Twenty9 Restaurant back in 2010. A few years later Octave DJ-ed my friend's wedding and right then and there I knew we had to have them for ours. These guys were nothing but professional and brought years of experience to the table. They had our entire wedding rocking from the moment they were on. I can't say enough good things! When we had our initial meeting with Harry we knew we were going to hire Octave. We had a small backyard wedding with about 45 people which I thought it would be tough to get everyone up and dancing........i couldn't have been more wrong! Kevin nailed it! He was by far the best DJ, he read my guests so well, took requests and played the perfect music!! My guests were complimenting Kevin all night long. Thank you Harry and Kevin!

Execution - it is what determines success or failure of an event. We trusted the solid reviews about Octave Event Group and hired Octave as our DJ for our wedding. I can undoubtedly say that it was one the best decisions we made. Harry took a genuine interest in the vision we were painting for our big day, and because of his extensive music catalog, and a true passion which is so easy to see just from the planning conversations, we were confident we chose the right DJ for the job. Music is important to my wife and I. We had some selections that you might not find at some weddings. Harry had everything we asked for, and even more, to fit the theme we were looking for. When it came to the wedding day, he played what we wanted, but knew enough about the theme we were seeking to add his own spin to it. It's like he knew exactly what we wanted, without us telling him we wanted it. Incredibly impressed - from the setup, to the up-lighting, the photo booth, and Sean, our MC for the evening. Our guests were on the dance floor all night! We can't thank you enough for leaving such an impact on our special day. A huge thank you to Harry and his team for making our day so wonderful. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our guest with music requests and they had the dance floor filled the whole night. Our guests commented numerous times how excellent our Dj was. When planning a wedding one of the biggest aspects is making sure your guests enjoy themselves, sometimes you haven't seen some of these people in a long time due to distance. The smiles and laughter filled the room, dancing until our feet were sore making so many new memories as Husband and Wife with our friends and family was easy with the atmosphere Harry and his crew provided.

Harry and Sean traveled to Chesapeake City, Md for our wedding last weekend. Prior, this was the easiest part of planning the wedding. Harry helped with whatever I needed and helped make important song decisions. I am not tech savvy and literally sent photos to him from what I took with my phone out of album from when I was a kid. He killed the slideshow and the dance floor. We had a day wedding and had concerns that people wouldn't be dancing! Harry and Sean threw down the jams and had the dance floor packed of all ages!!!!! Even saw some leg kicks out there . Sean and Harry kept me and the bridal party in tune with everything that was going on, which was awesome and relieved a lot stress. Think when someone says Holy Sh!t the DJ can actually mix beats that's pretty amazing, and shows they know what they are doing. They played music that all ages could dance to all day. The photo booth was also a big hit and the props were great. Cant say how happy we are and my family and friends, might have to fight some people off. Thanks for killing it and making our day great. Never a drag in the day or music. Best entertainment group ever!!!!

From our first conversation with Octave Event Group the responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism were clear, as were the love of music and playing what we wanted. Throughout our planning, they promptly answered questions, clearly communicated what they needed from us, and were simply nice peeps. On our wedding day, they were prepared, organized, accommodating, and everything went perfectly. Octave Event Group seamlessly facilitated transitions between to the ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and dancing locations as well as the toasts. Harry and Jeremy had DJ'd my wedding in August 2011 and I have to say, my special day would not have been the same without them! From the time of booking to the day of, they had kept in contact with me weekly regarding my plans and they went above and beyond the vision I had to make sure I would never forget my big day. They were open minded and even made last minute song changes (and I literally mean 2 minutes before we were walking into my reception) without a fuss or complaint. (I couldn't have my grandparents walking into my reception to metal- even if my husband begged me)... I remember being frantic but they handled it smoothly- choosing Sinatra and my grandfather strolled into my reception with pride and Joy! They traveled over an hour to my venue, arrived promptly and even stayed an extra hour at my request because my guests were having a blast!!! These guys were upbeat, fun and professional. I would not have changed a thing and have referred many friends to them. You cannot go wrong with these guys!!!

Best entertainment around for a private event! I was blown away with the atmosphere which Harry and his crew created for our wedding. Not only did the completely transform our venue from a typical banquet room to a totally personalized reception and gave us an amazing party to remember. Our guests were on the dance floor nonstop and the music was exactly our type.
Octave was hands down the icing on the cake for our wedding and made it more memorable because of their talented djs, lighting, and care they put into their work.
I will be using octave event group again for provate birthdays and upcoming graduation events.

Harry and his team were great at handling the music, lighting, coordinating the bridal party and making the night unforgettable. If you are in search of an awesome wedding/special occasion entertainer/DJ - these guys are it - hands down. As one of the most picky & particular people out there, I rarely find myself impressed, but these guys literally hit it out of the park. If you paint the picture of what you what - Harry and the team will vividly make it come to life right before your eyes. Harry's background as an entertainer has sent him across the globe for years, to venues massive and small, so to have him in your corner for a personal event is literally priceless. You want vibe? Vibe is their middle name. They did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding, from the lighting to the music to the MC'ing, including personally compiled unique playlists and custom designed lighting colors, and truly made ALL of our dreams come true - EXCEEDED expectations without breaking the bank. Our friends and family still talk about events they have hosted. They've also played/hosted parties we have thrown at our home for large groups and each and every time, A++ work all the way around. It was the second marriage for both of us and we knew from the first time around that the dj can make or break your memories of your reception. Where should I start?! There are not enough words that can describe how amazing these guys are. My wedding was September 3rd and Harry is what made this wedding truly amazing. This group does not just entertain for money, they do it because it is their passion. They actually care about who they are entertaining and it shows in their work. I would not recommend anyone else. THE BEST!! I met Harry he was a DJ for my sisters wedding which was one of the best weddings iv been too! For a wedding the Dj is one of the biggest part so i was very picky of who i wanted with great music since i love to dance! Harry was very professional while meeting and going over the details. I wanted something a little different for my ceremony i took parts of a song i really liked but i needed it to be timed for the length of my isle as i had to walk down stairs. I wanted to have it start in a part of a song and end without anyone noticing. I also had to do similar to my bridesmaids as they walked down the isle to a different song. Harry went above and beyond and made that happen! It was like everything i had dreamed and more! My location already had a pianoist with everything all set up through the venue so i only needed harry and assistant for reception. They did great setting up the entrances and all the songs i had for certain parts of the ceremony. I highly recommend Octave events! Since my wedding in July, 2013 Iv had a lot of friends book with harry and I'm so excited for the weddings of September 2017 and August 2017!

A huge thank you to Harry and Sean for traveling with us to Punta Cana to be our DJ's for our wedding. Picking Harry and Sean was the easiest and best decision that my husband and I made during our entire wedding planning process. We used Octave for not only our wedding and reception but they also DJ'd a bonfire we held the night before our wedding for all of our guests. They absolutely knocked it out of the park and we could not have been happier. When we initially sat down with Harry, we didn’t truly understand how much of an impact our decision would make on the outcome of our big day. Harry and Sean spent the time to have to get to know our relationship, our interests, our music preferences, our family and our overall vision. They then designed a tailored end-to-end flow for both nights and worked with us on planning all of the big moments. I am so happy with our experience working with these guys. Our communications were easy and professional. All of our wants and needs for the reception songs were discussed and everything went off without a hitch. The quality of sound was exceptional. The dance floor was packed throughout our entire wedding reception. The songs DJ Q Ball played were awesome. He played songs we really wanted and read the crowd to make sure there was not one dull moment. Everyone enjoyed the whole event and my husband and I could not be happier with our experience. Friends in attendance of our wedding have hired this group for several events (bar mitzvah and 40th birthday party) which I was lucky enough to attend and in both cases the DJ's were great.

In short, our dance floor was always full, and we heard "best wedding ever" a few times thanks in no small part to the atmosphere. Harry is easy going, and he will walk you through the sequence of possible activities, songs you'll have to pick, and advise on what today's common wedding practices are. It's so easy, even a groom can handle it. Harry and his team are professional, their equipment is top notch, and their performance matched our wedding's guests perfectly. Harry is very talented and has a natural ability to "feel" the crowd. He does a great job of keeping the flow of the reception going well (mixing in songs along with the dances, cake cutting, garter toss, etc.).
Many of our guests raved about Harry's work. Do NOT cheap out on DJ's -- this is the one area of a wedding reception in which you should spend...you WANT talent.

Amazing!!! I had Octave Event Group service the DJ and uplighting at my wedding and I couldn't have asked for more. The uplighting gave a fun effect that matched great with my wedding theme. It gave the room a little extra that went a long way. They kept the flow of the reception going smoothly and helped me and my husband stay on track with the cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. Throughout the night, the dance floor was packed and people were all laughing, dancing, and having fun. I even saw my slightly-shy brother showing off his dance moves which was awesome for me to see! At the end of the night, people had such a good time you could hear chants of "Encore! Encore!" It truly was an amazing night and I'm so glad we hired Octave!

Our friends still talk about our wedding...That being said it was the amazing atmosphere our DJ helped make. Everyone was dancing and have a great time from start to finish. Octave Event Group Rules!! Harry Dean and Sean know how to keep the dance floor packed for sure. I gave them examples of the music I wanted for our wedding reception and the floor was never empty. Party went all night!

Octave Events did an awesome job with our wedding!! We originally booked DJ Seany Rob but unfortunately, he had a previous commitment, so we ended up with Harry which was awesome! He was so easy to get along with and had our guests on their feet all night!! I was nervous when we had to switch DJ’s, but I could not be happier with the service we received. Everything was perfect from the ceremony music to cocktail music and the reception. We had such a blast the entire night on the dance floor. Our MC Tom was also amazing! He introduced the wedding party perfectly and kept us on track throughout the reception. I would highly recommend using Octave Event Group for your next events. Such a great time!

awesome time

Saw Harry DJ a few times at a local bar and thought "I want this guy to DJ my wedding". Turns out he had an entire company! We booked our entertainment, our photo booth, and our lighting through Octave, which checked a bunch off the to-do list. Harry is awesome! I was very specific with how I wanted the night to feel and he really delivered. Everyone was raving about how much fun they had and how good the music was. Him and Tom kept the party going and we were all sweating from dancing so much! Totally recommend if you're looking to have the best time ever and the best DJ ever!!!

My husband and I recently used Octave Event group to DJ our wedding and they were awesome! Very easy to work with, very organized, and nice people. They're wasn't a time when the dance floor was empty and I got so many compliments on how great the DJ was. The photo booth was a huge hit also! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting great music and dancing at their wedding!

I used them for my wedding and they did an amazing job setting the mood for he entire event. I wanted specific (and sometimes obscure) music to highlight different aspects of the wedding and they were able to find what I was looking and incorporate the music seamlessly into the night. They are fun and professional. I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future!

Was unprofessional, only 1 meeting a week before the wedding

The 1st meeting was several months before the wedding with the coordinator (Sean) and he was very nice an professional. The owner (Harry) was so drunk that he barely could sit straight on his chair in our 2nd meeting (a week before our wedding). We did not have any meeting in between!! ( We had to reach out to them to schedule our meeting!) We sent them the requested details right at our meeting and didn’t get a confirmation or anything until the day before the wedding.
The uplighting color is nowhere near what we had agreed on. We wanted blush and they set up blue. We had a separate entrance music for our MOH and BM and the DJ didn’t even play it.

Tragically, almost comically, bad

Harry Dean, Octave’s owner, was assigned to DJ our wedding in November of last year. He arrived looking disheveled and seemingly intoxicated, slurring his speech and stumbling as he was setting up his equipment. After toasts were interrupted by jarring microphone feedback, and after Harry’s first hour or so of DJing involved his equipment breaking down, erratically fluctuating sound volume, and wildly out-of-place club music and transitions, I spoke with Harry and he agreed to let one of our guests take over DJing for the remainder of the event. He explained how he had recently suffered the loss of a close friend, about which I was empathetic (our wedding followed our recently loss of a parent) but to which I responded that Harry should have alerted us and replaced himself if he weren’t up for the job.

In the aftermath of our wedding, we sought a refund from Harry which he resisted for five days before eventually conceding under condition of our non-disclosure. Instead of pushing further and wasting more time, we issued a chargeback through our credit card company which was made permanent this month.
